@alyafae gets a starter
Everything was bright and vibrant and alive around her, or at least that was how she felt. And part of her knew, deep deep in her mind, that she was under a spell. But the longer she was under it, the less she could access that part of her mind. All she knew was that she felt positively overwhelmed with feeling. And that was when Mae walked into her office.
"Mae," she happily exclaimed, smile bright and warm, and quickly shortened the distance between them and took Mae's hand into her own. "Don't you look so fetching in that dress. It really suits you."

@alyafae (carlisle) asked: [ 𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠 ] : receiver notices sender looking at them longingly. (thank you!)
The fire has been burning for a few hours now. Esme has felt entirely out of her body the whole night, her eyes seeing, but not truly looking; her ears have been hearing, but not listening.
It's not often they have guests over, not this many at least and definitely not in these circumstances. Esme almost wants to smile at the sight; it's been years since she's seen some of the individuals here, but the thought turns sour as soon as she remembers what they are facing. How many of these faces would survive tomorrow?
Her hands come to wipe over her face. She is exhausted, but there is no relief to be found. Instead, she lifts her head up to gaze through flickering flames.
In lieu of a halo, the soft orange of their burning fire illuminates Carlisle's face; his dark eyes are watching her in return, the smallest of smiles upturning his lips once she realises he's been silently observing her all this time.
She hasn't meant to drift apart from him. Company has meant meeting people's needs and, especially tonight, apologising for the reason they find themselves here to begin with.
Esme is standing and walking towards him before she can even process what she's doing. It doesn't matter, his arms open to welcome her. Whoever was lingering next to him swiftly took their leave. For a moment, Carlisle keeps his arms tightly around her as her own arms hook underneath his and around his back her fingers interlinking so to hold him tighter.
She feels lips press against her hair and finally, after a deep inhale to savour the scent of her mate, she pulls back to examine his face. He's just as beautiful as he was when they first met— even more so. She no longer has human sight obstructing his full beauty. Now, she can enjoy every single aspect of his face; the contours of his cheeks, the way the light dances across his skin, the blonde of his eyebrows.
"Come, let's spend some time alone," she murmurs, her hand coming to take his, fingers interlinking with each other as she coaxes him away from the crowd. The crackling of fire fades alongside the various chatter of their guests. It is replaced by the crunching of leaves and the snapping of branches until the forest opens into a clearing, and they're bathed by the moon in lieu of clouds— a rarity in Forks.
Esme leads them to the centre of the meadow, flowers offering a pleasant but unobtrusive scent. She playfully pushes her husband to the floor, hovering above him as foreheads touch, one hand against his chest and the other buried amongst grass.
"Let's just have this moment, please." She places a kiss against the corner of his mouth, desperate for intimacy, scared it will be their last chance. "Just a moment to forget everything else."

@alyafae gets a semi-plotted silrah au
There were plenty of other restaurants in the city, but Andreas had insisted going back to Saul's. He had enjoyed the food so much before that he had made the friends they were meeting dying to go there as well. Farah wouldn't have minded, if it wasn't for the black-eye that concealer did only so much to cover up.
It had been an accident, of course, but she knew Saul wouldn't see it that way. Not with the way that he had grown up-the way both of them had brown up. So she tried to keep her face hidden by the menu when he approached to take their orders himself, but could tell by the barely perceptible tightening of his jaw that he had noticed anyway.
A little while later, Farah excused herself to go to the ladies' room, only to find herself followed by Saul. "Don't overreact," were the first words out of her mouth as she turned to face him. "It's nothing."

@alyafae gets the first survival au starter for meleys
Rhaenys had resisted help getting out of bed. She was an invalid, yes, but her broken bones were slowly repairing themselves and she wanted to do this on her own. The proud princess had to cede to help getting dressed, as she would have had regardless of her condition, but once she was, she once again shook off help as she hobbled toward the door, leaning heavily on her cane. She could not help but think of Viserys as she did.
Slowly, very slowly, Rhaenys made her way down the halls to the rooms that Meleys had been given, now trapped in her human form. Upon arriving, she knocked twice, awaiting a response.

@alyafae sent: “ who did this to you ? ” / from saul for farah, but saul is well aware it was rosalind
Farah had tried to hide the fact that she had runic limiters clapped onto her wrists, tearing up her skin, but Saul had spotted them anyway. She looked down, clearing her throat before answering. "She thought I was cheating by using my magic during hand-to-hand combat training, so she decided that I need to learn to live without it for a few days."

@alyafae asked: are you actually leaving? / from morticia for larissa
"It may come as a shock, but I do have a job to do." The headmistress told her pointedly before sighing. "However, you are more than welcome to accompany me on my rounds. It may feel like old times wandering the halls with one another. I can catch you up on Wednesday's progress while we're at it?" she offered. The young Addams was both similar but yet completely different from Morticia that it baffled the mind.
"She is doing rather well in classes, though her therapist believes there are some things she could work on."

@alyafae get a kate
Kate scowled at the other archer. "I don't appreciate your tone." She signed to him. "The vet said he was perfectly healthy." As if to counter her point, the subject of their conversation - Lucky - decided to let out a loud, whining yawn before laying down on her couch. Her eyes rolled back before she responded to Clint. "Lazy doesn't mean I'm going to stop giving him pizza. I'm not cruel."

@alyafae gets a thing.
lucifer can often be found here. on their throne, head seemingly lost somewhere else and no one has ever asked where. could they be plotting something? reminiscing old times? simply admiring their creation? one would never know. thumb plays with their ring, head tilts to the side as they watch their realm below them. today, lucifer thinks of ranna. of her many attempts to get them away from hell and to mingle amongst humans again. the thought makes them frown... when had it been the last time they left? although they have absolutely no desire to go with her, they are rather intrigued by the idea. anything with her around is much more enjoyable and they cannot deny, it couldn't be so bad.
however, they loved ranna's continuous attempts to make them change their mind. which, in fact, one is now what brings them out of their thoughts. her frame comes into view, blocking what lucifer had been admiring for what had been hours. before they say anything, she gracefully sits on their lap, both legs swinging to one side. the ruler of hell has to hold back a smile, as they teasingly seem to ignore her presence. not something they can do for long, feeling those beautiful eyes on them. with a deep breath, a hand lays on her hip, holding her in place as they cross their legs, making their lover lean further against them, needing to feel her pressed against their chest.
❝ will i need to arrange another throne for you, my angel? ❞

Finally in control over her own body once more, Zelda wanted to tear Faustus apart for what he had done to her, for what he was attempting to do to her family. Yet she couldn't follow that instinct; she had to be smarter than him, and Satan knew she was certainly that. The only instinct she could follow after leaving her home was to go to the one witch she knew she could trust above all others, @alyafae. Maerose had always been a most loyal friend.
Knocking surely upon her door, Zelda need not wait long before the witch appeared. She attempted to give a smile but couldn't find it in herself to force one; she'd have to do plenty of that soon enough. "I'm sorry to show up unannounced and so late, but I have a favor to ask." She kept her hands clasped in front of her, missing her typical jewelry, missing her rings she could twist round when a cigarette was nowhere to be found; damn him and his spell.

@alyafae semi-plotted starter, carlisle x esme
There was hardly a breeze. Every time the faintest touch of wind graced her cheeks, Esme winced. Even as high up as she was, everything remained still. The tall, wild grass remained untouched by nature's sigh, the crickets greeting her as she ventured to the apex of the cliff. Every now and then her foot would catch the jagged edge of rocks littered across an unexplored path, her blood staining greenery red and the only mark left of her existence before she could leave this life forever.
The sweat invited by a humid August wetted the back of her nightgown and matted whatever hair fell against skin and fabric. She had no intention of brushing her hair, not when she was so close to being gone. The hospital band around her wrist felt nothing more than an iron ball, weighing her down with every single step.
Finally she was greeted with the view she had searched for. She could see the lights of Ashland in the distance, the hospital adorned with the most lights— something she hadn't noticed before discharging herself.
It was almost beautiful. At least she could bid goodbye to the place she had called home for the past couple of months. At least the company of unknowing strangers would help her greet the peaceful arms of death.

@alyafae gets more angsty silrah
Saul was not himself. No one else seemed to notice the changes in personality, but Farah did. Perhaps because most of them were direct at her. He was cold in a way he had never been with her, prone to snapping. It felt like he was trying to push her away.
She had done nothing to deserve this anger, of that much she was sure. If there had been a building resentment all along, Farah certainly had never noticed or felt it through their bond. All that she had ever felt was an emotional connection; one that it had taken her far too long to realize was love. This, her gut told her, was unnatural behavior. Behavior influenced by magic similar to her own and there was only one other mind fairy out there powerful enough to do such a thorough job.
But Rosalind was trapped in stasis, unable to move let alone access her magic. Or so Farah had been told. Could her former mentor have overcome it?

@alyafae sent: i thought you were dead. i saw you die. / from corlys
There was little light in violet eyes as Rhaenys smiled grimly. Some would tout that it was the mercy of the Greens' that she had not, but she wouldn't call it that. What she had endured was far from merciful. The cold, rat-infested cell; the near starvation. They had only kept her alive enough to be able to keep her as a bargaining tool. There had been days that she would have rather been dead.
But she wouldn't tell Corlys that.
Instead, she just placed scarred hands on her husband's chest, looking up at him. "I did not die," she said, simply. "I've been here waiting for you."

@alyafae gets a random ghostie silrah au starter
The waiting was more agonizing than her death had been.
Transparent fingers picked at non-existent cuticles as Farah paced the castle floors, trying not to think too much about what Saul was doing right now. A task that she failed at miserably as she had nothing better to do with her time than dwell.
He had managed to convince her that he was only going on the blind date to appease the friend who had set it up for him. That Saul wasn't going to enjoy himself in the slightest like he swore, Farah wasn't as convinced of. He may not intend to; he may even actively try not to, but there was bound to be something appealing about a woman of flesh and bone in contrast to, well, her.
It had been a mistake letting herself fall for him. They could never really be together as long as the barrier between life and death separated them and sooner or later Saul would surely tire of the limitations. He would move on and it would be a mercy for him to abandon his inheritance as Farah would rather go back to being alone than having to watch him be with someone else. Even if the heartbreak couldn't kill her, it could certainly drive her mad.
When she eventually heard the heavy front doors opening and Saul's voice calling for her, Farah hesitated for a moment. Did she dare go and confront the truth? Could she handle standing there while he tried to pretend the evening had meant nothing and they could continue on as they had been? She wasn't sure, but when he called for her again, this time with a note of concern in his voice, she knew she had to.
A forced smile was fixed on Farah's face as she materialized in the foyer. "You're back," she acknowledged, clasping her hands together in front of her.

@alyafae . Dr. Gaul gets a starter
Fish smoothed down the fabric of her uniform, taking a big breath. It was her first day as Dr. Gaul's lab assistant, and she wanted everything to go perfectly. While she could appreciate chaos (which was probably why she had taken such a liking to the eccentric gamemaker), she did not like to emulate chaos herself. No, Fish Lecter liked to look poised and composed.
Perhaps it was due to her origins. A girl from District 1. Even though it had been a decade since she had moved to the Capitol with her father, she was still careful to present an image of herself that would be beyond reproach. Or perhaps it was because her personal life was much more chaotic than it seemed. After all, the Lecters' secret tradition (murder) required her to look blameless.
So, after having made sure that she did not even have one hair out of place, she walked into the laboratory and headed toward Dr. Gaul.
"Good morning Dr. Gaul," she said with a polite nod. Fish was right on time, neither late nor early. "I wanted to thank you again for this opportunity."

@alyafae asked: "Rule #1: stay calm, these are normal people. Seriously, don't make me regret taking you here." / from Clint, have fun
The young archer in training is quick to nod her head in understanding. Kate couldn’t believe it when she'd received an invite to one of Tony Stark's infamous parties. The brunette had practically vibrated in her seat when she'd received the invite. Especially since many of the other Avengers were going to be in attendance. In Kate's eyes this solidified the fact that she was in fact an actual an Avenger. "Don't worry! You won't regret this. Promise!"
"So..is that like the only rule you have or, is there more?" Kate questioned.
