As if to counter her point, the subject of their conversation - Lucky - decided to let out a loud, whining yawn before laying down on her couch. Her eyes rolled back before she responded to Clint. "Lazy doesn't mean I'm going to stop giving him pizza. I'm not cruel."

The young archer in training is quick to nod her head in understanding. Kate couldn’t believe it when she'd received an invite to one of Tony Stark's infamous parties. The brunette had practically vibrated in her seat when she'd received the invite. Especially since many of the other Avengers were going to be in attendance. In Kate's eyes this solidified the fact that she was in fact an actual an Avenger. "Don't worry! You won't regret this. Promise!"

"So..is that like the only rule you have or, is there more?" Kate questioned.

since it’s nearly Halloween, a reminder that tony and kate usually wear matching outfits and do stupid stuff and clint pretends kate isn’t his kid for the whole thing. @iinventor and @alyafae

notes on this verse:      this verse is kinda heavily plotted with certain people and that’s why they have been tagged.    also this verse has three separate tags because it’s that developed.      also this verse has it’s own diverted canon with @fortislumen​ pepper potts too.      just its sorta taken over the blog. 

so this verse starts when ( @alyafae​ ) clint finds kate one day after a huge fight with eleanor,  takes her back to iowa before the events of age of ultron.      kate then meets all the avengers.  when she first meets thor ( @worthystill​ ) she fangirls in sign which thor understands and so begins the reign of the best uncle.       after age of ultron,    continues to train with Clint,  life goes on.     clint adopts kate.     civil war occurs and Kate is told no way and is forced to sit out of it,    then retires her own bow once clint comes back from the raft.    kate after reading up on some norse mythology ends up attempting to contact thor,    i feel sorry for Heimdall  honestly.     they have a cute heart to heart,         pretty much lives a normal life and then unlike in canon,      disappears during the blip (because clint has to be sad).     sorry clint. 

blip happens,      blip she’s back.      life is five years in the future and thats weird.   while i’ve never rped with a tony in this verse,      of course she’s sad about that.   her mother is trying to get into contact as is her moms new boyfriend (Jack) and honestly it’s a lot to handle.   she helps clint recover (kinda),     is not herself because ALL the stuff is happening.     gets sent to new asgard for the summer (to help deal with things).      more uncle thor bonding time.    they’re adorable.     10/10 found family.       she then has to finish high school, graduates and starts attending college.      also phil coulson shows up at some point.    and now the tv show. 

HAWKEYE TV SHOW (spoilers):  

kate is 19 (because disappearing during the blip),      she’s still in college.    the only major differences are,        she knows clint already (his still annoyed to see her in the ronin costume)      and eleanor is working with king pin and wants clint dead becuase clint stole her daughter.      the rest?     happens the exact same way.    there is a cute scene where kate has to also talk to nate about coming home for christmas and then she is like: sorry old man for all the times i used the pout on you.      but the rest of the plot? the exact same

he   hates   magic   .   it's   something   he's   gone   back   &   forth   on   more   than   once   ,   but   as   of   right   now   ,   he   absolutelty   hates   it   .   (   to   be   fair   ,   maybe   clint   is   blaming   magic   for   the   situation   prematurely   ;      he's   not   sure   what   the   dizzy   whirling   feeling   before   he   was   dropped   unceremoniously   in   a   somehow   not   quite   as   familiar   neighborhood   was   ,   but   all   he   could   think   was   magic   .   )  

he   can't   get   into   his   apartment   building   ,   as   he   finds   out   after   a   few   tries   ,   &   in   the   back   of   his   head   he's   hoping   kate   will   at   least   check   on   lucky   while   he's   ---   wherever   he   is   .   everything   was   so   familiar   ,   but   there   were   small   differences   that   made   him   raise   his   eyebrow   ,   causes   him   to   do   a   double   take   at   times   .   where   was   he   ?   none   of   his   text   messages   were   going   through   to   any   of   his   friends   ,   which   probably   wasn't   good   ,   but   at   least   he   had   his   bow   &   quiver   before   this   happened   ,   in   case   there   was   a   need   for   a   fight   .   god   ,   he   hoped   he   didn't   need   to   fight   .

but   when   did   he   usually   get   what   he   wanted   ?   he   sees   the   fight   not   far   from   where   he   was   wondering   ,   &   to   him   ,   it   looks   bad   .   &   what   kind   of   avenger   runs   from   a   fight   ?   bows   out   ,   arrows   knocked   out   (   just   a   little   bola   arrow   to   maybe   cause   a   distraction   or   trip   someone   )   before   he   starts   running   ,   full   speed   ,   to   where   the   rest   of   the   fight   was   ,   previous   confusion   thrown   out   of   his   head   for   the   moment   being   .   it   doesn't   last   long   though   ,   because   just   as   he   reaches   the   fight   ,   clint   watches   as   another   arrow   whizzes   just   past   him   to   hit   it's   target   .   clint   turns   ,   expecting   kate   ,   instead   seeing   someone   else   ,   a   different   man   ,   not   far   from   off   with   his   own   arrow   .   clint   raises   a   brow   ,   but   as   the   two   meet   eyes   ,   he   just   offers   a   smile   as   he   pulls   out   another   arrow   ,   though   making   sure   to   watch   the   other   carefully   behind   the   friendly   gestures   .

"   hope   you   don't   mind   ,   looked   like   you   needed   help   .   don't   worry   ,   i'm   an   avenger   .   "
