I hate that I am so incredibly emotional.

On one side it is a blessing to be able to feel so deeply for a sole creation of ideas and fantasy, but at the same time it sucks because there is only so much to consume of these tales.

I love that fanfiction writers and fanartists exist because this way there will always be something to find but I can't help the craving of more cannon knowledge and events I have so often, and the sadness that comes along with knowing that there won't be any.

Finishing a story that grew so dear to my heart is always gut-wrenching again and again and I will never get used to this.

Damn you, silly soft heart. Bless you aswell in a way but mainly damn you.

today was a good day, an incredibly good day actually. i met up with all of my friends, we had the best food ever especially ramen, i really like noodles and anything related to noodles actually. we also took many pictures although i don’t particularly like how i look in them but i still cherish them as they hold emotions forever paused within a frame.

i also bought the cutest phone charm ever, i am very excited about it. i like being excited about little things its a habit i developed later on in my life after getting through the worst stage of my mental health. i realized getting excited over little things really magnify the small happy moments we experience daily which we usually overlook and ignore.

the route to the hangout spot was actually much more fun. the place we were supposed to meet up at was near the sea towards the outskirts of the city. i looked to my side and saw these new buildings being constructed and i thought to myself “hmm how bland, lets look towards the other side” and the other side to my right was breathtakingly beautiful. the way the trees swayed with wind, the flowers bloomed under the warm sunlight, the blue sky and the clouds hanging heavily. words arent enough to explain how pretty it looked. thats when it hit me, same road, different perspectives. the concept can be applied to life as well don’t you think?

my cat is making biscuits on my leg currently, it feels like a very soft leg massage, she’s full and purring. one thing about my cat is that she loves to sit with my while i’m studying, and thats also the only time she actually sits with me, she either loves me not bothering her or she loves studying haha. on that note, i finally studied today!!!! i made notes for one whole chapter, i’m so proud of myself for finally being able to do something and not just wallow in sorrow. although the notes aren’t particularly pretty and neat but i’m happy that I’m slowly and gradually returning to my pace

i have also decided to finally let them go, my life really is much better and much more peaceful without them and if they’re life is better without me then so be it. now is the time that i focus on myself and my life, the past is something i cannot control thus i refuse to dwell on it aswell.

so, i've made a bunch of oc's for the marauders era in the past, a lot of them being animagi. and it's REALLY hard to come up with ACTUAL good nicknames for them. that's why i decided to make this list. both for myself, in the future, aswell as others who struggle picking the right name

anyways, i always like the name to have something to do with a body part of the animal, as that's what all the boys (except remus) did.

WHISKERS ﾟ✧

- this one is definetely for a cat.

- honestly, this one's probably the best out of the list. i mean, it checks all of the boxes. it's one of the more recognizable features of a cat, looks good and sounds good

- and it can be used for any cat. if your oc is really mysterious and then prob is a black cat, it fits! if you're a brown/orange cat with a down to earth personality, it fits! if youre a girly girl and a white cat, it fits!

CROOKSHANKS ﾟ✧

- btw, if you dont know what the fuck this name means, because neither did i, crook is bend and shank is the part of the leg from the knee to the ankle. (the words can mean other things in other context tho) anyways yea, thought you should know that lol.

- but so like, i remember reading this fanfiction on wattpad, i think it was actually called crookshanks? (i could be wrong though) but this woman who was james' twin sister is crookshanks (so like crookshanks, hermione's cat is an animagus in secret) and i dont know i was just amazed at how creative it was.

Breakdown of the Miitopia for Nintendo Switch trailer (All changed things and new additions so far + Speculations)

(Note: I am not an actual game journalist I just love miitopia)

As soon as the trailer starts we see updated graphics, with new lighting and better FPS + graphics in general. In this scene they appear to be inside of the Bigg Forest.

In this image we see that yes - Nintendo is finally giving an actual use to the Mii Maker to import miis to the Nintendo Switch. It is still not confirmed as of this time whether you can import miis from Miitopia 3DS (Although I'd assume so...)

Now here we are introduced to a new feature: Makeup! It shows 7 different options (Including a mysterious "Other) and a 0/100 counter above the mii's head. This appears to be some sort of limit as to how many layers of makeup can be applied to one mii.

In the "Eyes" category it shows various patterns for various shading on your eyes. It also appears that if you scroll down there are various eyelids aswell.

In the "Eyelashes" category we can see well, various eyelashes! There also seem to be polygon shaped eyelashes to be scrolled down to for some reason...

In the "Lipstick" category we can now see that you can finally layer it below your mouth! At this point I'm suspecting the polygons are likely placeholders for future additions.

Here we can see that yes - The color pallette is making a return (At least for lipstick)!

And here we can see that they've added far more eyebrows! And these ones actually seem near finished with no placeholders in sight.

Here we see another major new feature, wigs! It looks like we can go psycho with making our miis look like anime protagonists now!

Here it looks like you can change the bang type too, as while swapping through the styles it didn't change with the main hair. You can also add 2 color fades now!

0:40 - To the left there appear to be scars on the right eye of obne the mii's faces. To the right the purple haired girl also appears to have some sort of tear shaped marking under the same eye, decals or the "other" mentioned earlier perhaps? We also see an extremely white (I mean pure chalk white) person to the furthermost right, hinting at more skin colors.

1:07 - A horse appears! It's shown later that you can sleep in the same stable as it aswell as change it's appearance! It's also shown dealing splash damage to multiple enemies.

1:18 - There appears to be some sort of celebration. It is currently unknown what type of event it is or if they're adding new events.

1:19 - The mii is shown running with the horse along the beach - Do we get more cutscenes or possibly "Flashbacks" like in Tomodatchi Life?

So recently I’ve seen something that’s really made me think about how I view politics and history: there is a distinct restistance in some spheres of tumblr towards the term “Compulsory heterosexuality”, aka Comphet. The reasons behind this are that the woman who popularized the use of the term, Arianne Rich, was apparently transphobic and wrote her essay, with the intention of demonizing bisexual women. 

I might make a separate post at some point about her and what I think about her as a political figure and her use of the term, but for now I just wanna concentrate on the actual philsophy behind not using the term comphet. 

For anyone who doesn’t know, the term comphet is typically used to mean an experience of a lot of gay men and women (particularly women) have where the society that we live in convinces them that they must be attracted to the opposite sex. Now I don’t really know how this applies to bi and trans people, so I’m not really going to comment on that. But I do wanna just say that this is a really important term that describes such a specific experience. It is not just about everyone assuming that themselves and others are straight, it is about how people become convinced that they are genuinely feeling attraction to the opposite gender. I would advise anyone confused about the term to look up the “Am I a lesbian” masterdoc, it gives a very good explanation of how it applies to women. I’m sure extrapolations can be made for men aswell. It really does describe a unique situation, that really explains how people are in relationships for years with people they aren’t attracted to, how people can subconciously push themselves into relationships they think they want. I must stress, this is a pretty important term for a lot of people in the LGBT community, and personally for me as well, reading about this is really what made me realise I was not bisexual, and gave me real room to understand my feelings. 

Another thing I want to mention, is that people often say “The roots are problematic, just say heteronormative!” or something to that effect. Again, I have to say that this is not the same as heteronormativity. It is certainly a by product of this but it is not the same thing. Additionally, I have seen people saying that we should just rename it to something like “Coercive heteronormativity”, which I just... I can’t get my head around. I feel like maybe (sorry to be pretentious) I have a different outlook on this kind of thing because I speak two languages, but I really don’t see how changing up the words a little helps at all. It is still the same concept and its roots are the same. The reason I reference the languages is because like, if I said compulsory heterosexuality in a different language (like just directly translated it), would it then be not problematic because technically the words are not the same? And I feel like this applies to renaming it in english too. 

The other thing that I wanna say, although this is getting long, is that if you wanna avoid all terms coined by problematic individuals then boy do I have news for you about the entire English language. The thing is, I just do not believe (and this is similar in sentiment to what I said in my last rant about politics from the past) that we can just separate activism, especially of those not alive anymore, into Good and Bad. People typically were a mix of those things, and we cannot simply cut out the people who held bad views because they are literally everywhere. The political scope of the 80s when that essay was written were completely different, and actually a lot of prominent political activists held views that would today estrange them from left wing and LGBT activist groups. This does not mean you should excuse prejudice from people who lived a while ago. It just means that we HAVE to take these things as one, complex matter, where people had good ideas and terrible ones, and we can have those good ideas as starting points for new ideas today. Not to mention LOTS of people have since done work around compulsory heterosexuality who have no connection with transphobic or biphobic rhetoric. To disregard all of the academia and study and literature that has been made with this effect, simply because the first famous usage of a term came from someone deemed problematic, is what really in the end is the death of activism. Really, I wish it were as simple as, you listen to the good people and block out the bad. But it just isn’t like that and it can’t ever be like that because the history we come from is the only history we have.

Who’s most likely on the chopping block SPOILERS AHEAD

Ok in the latest trailer we see literally everybody's getting bodied and it looks like pretty much everyone's gonna die or at least a majority of them will but realistically speaking I dont think KH3 is gonna be THAT dark

HOWEVER I do believe there will be SOME deaths as KH3 is supposed to be the darkest kh game I dont see Nomura letting this be a and they all lived happily ever after ending, but I believe its going to be a more bittersweet ending where the good side wins but at a great cost

So the next question is, whos actually gonna die? well I have some theories on whos the most likely to die and whos most likely gonna survive

For starters Mickey Donald and Goofy are pretty much set in stone they’ll be fine, its not TOTALLY impossible but I highly doubt Nomura or Disney would kill off those iconic characters so lets just mark them off right now to the SAFE list

Aqua, Terra, Ventus and Lea are more unknown, they could die or they could not but I’ll explain why its so up in the air

Aqua can and will be saved so it doesnt make much sense for her to die after we go through all this to save her, that being said she could die trying to protect everyone just like she did in the past but I still think to bring her back only to kill her off is highly unlikely so IMO Aqua is safe

Terra is a gamble, hes been on thin ice since BBS and I always assumed he would eventually die anyway I just didnt know when but I always figured he would eventually muster up the strength to free himself and die to protect his friends, I felt like Terra would possibly end himself to prevent Xehanort from using him to hurt any more people, in this case, I see Terra possibly doing that in this situation and I feel like Terra’s ‘death’ is long overdue since at least to me its been hinted thats where his arc was heading since the end of BBS, so IMO Terra is marked for death

Ventus is also a high possibility, if it wasnt Xehanort it was Vanitas trying to kill Ven although in Vanitas case his reasoning is alot more complicated but the fact remains they have both tried to ‘kill’ him in some way shape or form and have been searching for him for years and now that they’ve finally FOUND him the chances are pretty high that Ven is gonna die, he is in a VERY vulnerable position and unable to fight or defend himself and thanks to Aqua nobody knows where he is or how to save him so Ven is definitely in the danger zone and thats why IMO Ventus is hanging by a thread

Lea is a gamble too, he’s already ‘died’ once, became Axel, died again and became Lea again, to have him die a 3rd time seems excessive but it would be heart-wrenching if he is killed by one of his former friends Saix, Xion or Roxas which although having Lea die AGAIN as I said would be excessive this would DEFINITELY be a dark and tragic ending for Lea and the impact would be much bigger than it was the previous times and it’ll hold that much more weight to it seeing him suffer from the loss of Isa and then keep remembering Xion and Roxas as well only to have one of them be the one to take him down for good is just beyond sad, so even though it may be excessive the impact would be massive which is why IMO Lea is marked for death 

Now to move on to the main two, Riku and Kairi

For starters even with my personal bias against Kairi Im not stupid enough to think shes gonna die infact I think its the opposite, Kairi is HIGHLY unlikely to die and here’s why

She’s part of the main trio that we’ve followed from the start, she’s Sora’s love interest, she’s technically the main female, she’s a princess of heart, she’s a keyblade wielder, in other words she’s too tightly woven into the story that for Nomura to take her out would not only be bold af but also extremely unexpected, its not often that you see a member of the main cast killed off but if they are its almost never the love interest which is why I believe Kairi is safe

Their also hyping up the romance way too much for them to just kill her off, unless this whole ‘oath’ and ‘dont think twice’ is just one big red herring and they pull a 180 not only would that be risky af but also pretty danm genius cuz nobody would see that coming but I will not be mad at it and infact would appreciate Nomura even more for takin such a huge risk that not many others would take, although I already know majority of the fandom wouldnt agree with me on that and I think Nomura is aware of the shitstorm he would get if he did that aswell so yea Kairi is definitely safe

Riku not so much, unlike Kairi, Riku is not a love interest or atleast not the one Nomura intended, true Riku is also a part of the main trio but the rival/best friend always has the higher chance of dying to protect the MC than the main female/love interest does

You also have to look at Riku’s character arc, his growth from giving into the darkness and doing horrible things to his journey of redemption, I believe his final atonement would be giving his life to protect Sora who in the past he had hurt so much, this and it leaves Sora still alive to save the world and defeat Xehanort since in the scene we see Sora doesnt have his keyblade and hes on his knees about to be attacked by a swarm of heartless and Riku being the last man standing protects him and if not for Riku, Sora would have died there, but Riku despite all odds against him, gives his all in protecting Sora

Someone made an interesting comparison of when Axel was fading away after ‘putting his whole being into an attack’ from the looks of the trailer Riku is DEFINITELY giving his all in this attack, Riku is ready and willing to die for Sora which is why Riku IMO is marked for death

But I also dont think Riku is gone for good, I think he might become a nobody and he IS the only one in the main trio who hasnt had a nobody, granted because he’s never been in a situation TO have one but now is the perfect time with the perfect setup for this to happen and come into play

How exactly this will play out in the future? I have no idea and until we play the game I cant think of any theories BUT I dont think Riku’s gonna be gone for good, I think he’ll have a Lea situation where he becomes a nobody, ‘dies’ then returns to being his somebody again, or in other words is revived/reborn

Anyway thats all for my theories on who’s most likely to die on the heroes side but what about the villains?

Saix is definitely marked for death, same for most of the seekers of darkness, Vanitas and Ventus MIGHT actually make peace and accept one another and reunite so in a way you could say Vanitas ‘dies’ or he could go tragically and be killed being separated from Ven forever once again

And of course Xehanort is definitely gonna die, he’s the only one I am atleast 98% sure is going to die because at this point he has to unless they go the Iron Blooded Orphans route where literally almost all of the good guys DIE and the bad guys actually WIN with our heroes just having to live in hiding defeated Xehanort is almost gauranteed to die so IMO Xehanort is dead

Now to explain my ranking before I end this post so some of you who may be confused understand what I mean

Marked for death - means they have a target on their back and are within the enemies crosshairs and are highly likely to die unless they are saved by some deus ex machina and a miracle happens

Hanging by a thread - means that they are close to death but not quite sure if they’ll actually die hence why their hanging by a thread, maybe it’ll snap maybe it wont just gotta wait and see how things play out

Safe is self explanatory and the same applies for Dead

Long rant ahead

doesn’t it make you feel like crap when you’ve been saving up money for a treat for a while, bc although your parents are happy to give your brother £5-£10 each week to buy sweets or sommet you only ever get change of like 50p every now and again and they tell you if you want money you should get a job, and when you get a thing you wanted, in my case a £2 bar of galaxy chocolate that you hid in your drawer in your room, and then you find it gone, youre upset bc you havent had any sweets for ages and you were going to treat yourself with the chocolate bar over a 2-3 week period, then you find out the rest of the money you saved up is also gone, and it turns out that your mother came into the room “found” the chocolate and money “lying around” and gave it to your brother, bc “he needs it more than you”, though i haven’t gotten new clothes in like 2 years or news shoes, though my shoes have holes in them, then mother tells me to get a job, but i had 3 people telling me that i have an interviews but i don’t have any clothes for the occation and my mother refused to get me any, at the same time buying my brother shoes every 2-3months, or clothes that have holes inthem after 3 weeks. but i can’t bc the same clothes that fit me 2-3 years ago should do now, and i “souldn’t have put on so much weight” 

and everyday you wake up, applying to jobs that almost never write bac, becoming your mother’s verbal punching bag bc something happened at work that pissed her off, and you can’t retaliate or tell her to calm down and that she shouldn’t use her pent up anger at me bc it makes it worse

then trying to get appointments at a therapists/gp bc you don’t think you can live like this any longer, but they tell you there’s a 1-2 month waiting list and though you’re on it you don’t get appointments bc it’s not an emergency, and you’re not visibly depressed

and you’ve been living with all of these expectations of going to uni straight after college, when you know you’d most likely to drop out bc you feel like nothing you do will be fine, bc every time you wanted to do/try something you were always shut down by your parents and mocked by them for having dreams and goals or liking something 

and you have no dreams for the future, now what you want to do the most is get a job, save money so you can move out and to not have to want to die a little bc someone is dissapointed in you or live as a personal maid at home, to be told that not only your mother wants the house to be clean, you have to get a job aswell, and your father doesn’t care and the only time he told you he loved you was 2 years ago when he tried to guilt you into telling your mother that he should stay but you never give in bc you don’t even know him though you have lived with him for most of your life and he never showed you any kindness or love

and then you realise, you don’t have any friends, most of the family live in other countries and don’t care, and you don’t have anyone to help you get better, so you don’t.

in the end you don’t know why you’re still alive, and you don’t know what happiness feels like anymore, you just want to make this stop.

Most free video p*rn is unethical but fantasizing about real people feels too disrespectful,

I wanna believe I'm rational and (at least mostly) morally good, the meat industry is heavily unethical but I still partake in eating meat, this is honestly a moral failing on my part but I can't do much about it, I don't think the killing of animals is all that unethical but the animals usually suffer and so do the workers and that makes it more unethical than I'd like

I eat free range eggs and I'd love to be able to eat more ethically sourced meat (e.g. lab grown) but I have no financial independence and even if I did more ethical meat will be more expensive and harder to come by

I doubt I'd be able to have a vegan/vegetarian diet without a slew of dietary problems, I already barely like regular food and I'm sure I'd dislike vegan food even more and so would probably develop some eating disorder if I attempted a vegan diet

But even vegan diets aren't all that ethical, the workers are still heavily exploited and as much as I love animals I have to value human life more, at least animals don't have to suffer for _too_ long and prey animals are meant to be eaten, it's just a fact of life unfortunately

On the bright side I am very insignificant and my money doesn't mean all that much, I'm not influencing the market in any substantial way

Back to p*rn, most video ones are very morally dubious in their ethicality so I'd like to avoid it, luckily there are alternatives, although chickentie animators probably don't have the best working situations I don't think it's particularly worse than most other jobs so that makes it a lot more morally ok in my book and there is literature wich as far as I'm aware is almost completely ethical witch is great :)

The alternate types of p*rn aren't free of sin, they still objectify women in ways I disagree with but if I'm rational and don't engage with it _too_ much then I should remain mostly psychologically unscathed, hopefully

Back to chickentie even though it's borderline unethical to consoom thing that people have been exploited to create it is still a lot better than say buying clothes that was probably made in a sweatshop so I'm not causing _that_ much extra harm especially since if I'm just scrolling through reddit and not even upvoting it then my influence will be so small is completely negligible

This reminds me of the ethics of benefiting from the nz experiments, is it immoral to use the research that caused so much suffering? I'd say no, I'd argue that's immoral _not_ to use the research if it'll help save lives, you might aswell benefit as much as you can from experiments you can't ever replicate due to ethics so at least the poor people who suffered didn't suffer in vain, this doesn't apply at all to the chickentie stuff I just wanted to mention it because i find it interesting :P I don't have a moral imperative to consoom all the chickentie I can and nor would I want to

Back on track I don't find fantasizing about real people to be unethical but I do find it to be disrespectful if they don't consent to it, I know that fantasizing about real people is a completely natural thing people have been doing since the dawn of time but I wouldn't want to be fantasized about so I'd find it immoral to fantasize about others

I know this is kinda parasocial relationships gone a tad bit too far but as long as I'm not harming people I can believe it's ok for now

Ironically I have engaged with worse things that could actually harm real people but I was completely find with it, I guess peoples morals can change quite a bit overtime

It's been fun to try to learn more about my sexuality and instead having a crisis about the ethics of prn instead

All this makes me more certain I'm Ace lol but I can't be certain until I'm like 18

Sexuality seems like it'd be a lot easier to figure out if 1. I was amab and 2. If I was over the age of 18. Am I Ace or am I a female kid with low libido is hard to tell for certain, I can't say I've experienced sexual attraction nor can I say with any confidence that I've been aroused before but a certain someone I've developed a bit of a parasocial relationship with can definitely cause shivers and "sparks" for a lack of a better word with suggestive words and actions

It's also hard to differentiate "am I actually feeling something" with "I think I'm supposed to be feeling something" and feeling it would make me normal and so I pretend I do/ I wrongly classify feelings as arousal and attraction

For example; a girl is stressed about needing to have a idea for her career and is debating going for university despite not knowing what she want to do, my zine should ease these worries and help her make a decision that is healthier for her mind. My own life experiences should help get this aim across. Below is some research I've done following this goal that can help me decide my content.

This was very interesting to scroll through the site and see other peoples perspective on the matter. I like Mahais work and the concept of adding a fantasy-like feel to the work. The contrast between light on dark is very visible in the painting and reminds me of the mind itself. The concept of having both dark and positive thoughts throughout your day and the fine line of balancing the two. It makes me realise that this is very common for everyone and its okay to feel down sometimes however, not letting these thoughts control you and lead you to a deep hole. The right side of the painting portrays this well. I think I have taken some inspiration in this idea of adding unrealistic features into art and want to try and include this fiction and dreamy atmosphere into my work. I am unsure if I will execute this yet as I don't think it matches my message just yet.

The final artist I found was Karen Lynch. These pieces are much more uplifting which is my goal for this signature project. These pieces fall into my opinion of Mihai’s work and its aspect of fantasy. I love both of these as it oddly reminds me where I am and not to get so consumed in my thoughts. The contrast between the images makes me think this as we often get caught up in life and all of its problems when actually, we live on a floating rock in space. These collages also remind me of my previous work of escapism in the trend research project. I want to add this aspect of collage into my work as I feel it would add humour and personality into the zine. I love this work and will continue to look into Karen's and other collage artists in order to gain inspiration when creating my magazine.
