Demon Slayer AU where Ichigo has to deal with TWO demon sisters at the same time, anyone??? (I am not so cruel as to make one of the twins die). role reversal with Isshin being the one who died (he was a Hashira) and Masaki raising the kids. maybe to fill up the family more we make Zangetsu their (either a twin or older) brother. alternatively the twins die and Zangetsu becomes a demon.

Kisuke is obviously Urokodaki (Ururu and Jinta as Sabito and Makomo, in that order).

Soul King as Ubuyashiki, Gotei 13 captains are the Hashira, the lieutenants are the Tsuguko. Unohana is kind of like Shinobu, if Shinobu was an insane combatant. Mayuri also gives Shinobu vibes, bc ⋆⭒˚.⋆ poison ⋆⭒˚.⋆, Kenpachi as Sanemi, because they’re both insane (Kenpachi recreating the Sanemi & Nezuko first meeting). Kyoraku as Mitsuri, nahhh, I’m dying. the breathing styles are different, but these are some of the characters I find similar.

don’t really know what to do with Squad 0… maybe retired Hashira. Ōetsu as the head of the Swordsmith Village, Senjumaru designed the Demon Slayer corps’ uniform. OR Squad 0 as some of the creators of the first breathing styles along with the previous Gotei 13 captains.

Aizen as Muzan (betrays the Demon Slayers and becomes a demon??), also quite obviously. The Espada + Gin and Tōsen (also betray the corps) are the Twelve Kizuki, Numéros and Hollows as other demons. The Visored as the Tamayo and Yushiro equivalent kinda??

Grimmjow is Akaza, cause they are very similar imo, trying to convince Ichigo to become a demon. ends up being the one convinced to switch sides (Rengoku/Akaza with a happy ending, lmao).

should I make Yoruichi Ichigo’s fucking crow?? that’d be hilarious. Orihime, Chad and Ishida as ppl he meets during the Final Selection/missions. I just know ppl be giving Ichigo the nastiest side-eyes, bc “what the fuck is the size of that box on your back, boy?” or imagine he has to carry 2 boxes, nahhh.

I think I’ll make Rukia the one to find Ichigo, but she’s not a Hashira yet.

kind of writing out the whole Quincy genocide and Quincies as a separate entity in general.

don’t ask me shit about what breathing style to assign to Ichigo, bc I’ll have a meltdown. Rukia, Tōshirō, Ishida have some kind of Ice Breathing. Rangiku with Love Breathing, bc cats. Komamura and Beast Breathing (I do find myself hilarious, yes). were Yoruichi not a crow already I’d give her Thunder Breathing. Kisuke and Unohana smth to do with Blood?? Kenpachi and Stone Breathing. Byakuya and Flower Breathing for sure. Yamamoto Flame Breathing, not even up for debate. something like that.

#vashwood #vash the stampede #nicholas d wolfwood #trigun #trigun maximum #participated in altades' dance collab :3 very grateful for the opportunity and many thanks to them for organizing this!#there was a lot of vw arc choices... but i went for the leonof arc bc it's a dear vw moment to me #i think a lot of the leonof arc further breaks down vash's ideology and for the readers - together with ww- to learn that his ideals aren't #pure naivety and that vash knows he's at an odd standpoint with himself. he's criticized ww for shooting rai-dei just prior when ww had don #so on the behalf of vash but here he thanks him for killing on behalf of his home and its genuine. bc vash's presence - although it's not #his fault - he was the reason leonof and gray had gotten to the ship and killed people there. that's the guilt he has to live with and #despite his anger he'd still resolute not to kill. meanwhile ww just did what he had to - beating down on a seemingly immortal monster but #at the core made up of many lives he had to take and i feel as the fight dragged on - his own mentality waned. committing active carnage #while remembering the orphanage... and bearing that guilt alongside the words vash left with him during rai-dei's death #only for vash to thank him afterwards what he's done and for apologizing for pushing his beliefs on ww when he had no solutions of his own #anyway. i just have so an immense love for this arc bc they just got around to appreciating each other in weird ways. though ofc its still #weird and confusing for ww bc every new info on vash it'll just be strange to him as someone who's human #ruporas art

I have no idea if I’ll write it, but I started thinking of Springtrap x reader plots, and then I started talking to @ravenmccookies about like... the main idea that I have.

So, imagine: Y/N is one of those people who likes to restore old things. They never worked at the attraction, and never actually knew about it, either—but they heard about something burning down.

While out walking, they end up discovering Springtrap, and they’re like: “Oh, a cool robot bunny. I’ll take it back with me and fix it up. Should be fun.” And they drag him back home.

And they basically start streaming on what they plan on doing—and when they go to the room that they were sure they left the rabbit in... he’s just gone.

Y/N manages to find him, but in a panic, ends up hitting Springtrap with a bat that they happened to have brought with them.

And that’s just how the two actually meet. I have a ton of other ideas involving this potential thing—including ideas for how it could actually end. Something angsty, I’m thinking.

But anyway: shenanigans occur.

Although more likely there’s someone on this list who you just really don’t like. And if that’s the case please try not to be mean spirited about it. You’re entitled to not like them, that’s your prerogative. Likewise it’s the prerogative of others to disagree.

I think maybe everyone should cool it with the “weird cult” comments regarding the covert, honestly. It wasn’t that funny to begin with but now that it’s the popular describer it’s starting to become a little uncomfy. No one is forced to join, no one is forced to stay. There’s a ton of parallels between them and real world cultures and religions and I just think MAYBE we need to be a little more aware of what message we’re sending when we say “haha that group of people who are in hiding because their lives were/are at stake and who practice anonymity to survive and follow certain rules that I don’t personally understand or like are a weird cult”.

#maybe we should lay off that word #I’m not the first person to say this obviously but now it’s starting to make me a little 😬#really wish this season had done what it should have and explored Din’s relationship with his faith #then maybe we’d learn more about the covert and Mandalorian culture and people wouldn’t feel the need to use this kind of language #they’re not a cult they’re just a group of people trying to survive in a universe that would prefer they did not #and that hits home for a lot of real people watching #anyway there’s that #the mandalorian #everyone a Din stan til we talk about how his faith is still a huge part of his character and his life #although the show really really needs to address how all of the events so far have changed his mindset #personally I don’t think he wants to leave his creed behind #but I think he would benefit from reevaluating what it means to him Now as opposed to when he took it as a child #the fact of the matter is: the covert and the creed are Important to Din on a fundamental level #would he enjoy you running around calling his family a cult? probs not #mine

i cant help but wonder if john is going to use his newfound projection abilities to save arthur next episode??? like we have only seen him use it the once, and while that was rlly draining on arthur's body, he was also kind of mirroring the kiy. i do think it would be interesting narratively if john Did have this ability but couldnt use it without the threat of mutual destruction (arthur's life and john's humanity) HOWEVER it would be fascinating if john, fuelled by much more selfless reasons than a power grab or protecting just himself, was able to project in some manner to help. because god knows an evil knife to the chest is NOT within your average medieval english barber-dentist-doctor's skillset

my best friend described thorin as the antagonist in the hobbit (movies - specifically the first one) and honestly i wonder why i hadn't thought of that before

#her claim is that thorin spends a lot of time being mean to bilbo (the protagonist) by deeming him not enough and generally excluding him #when the teacher asked her what word first pops up in her mind when thinking about the movies (specifically the first) she said “inadequacy”#because that's what bilbo felt / was made to feel by thorin #and thinking of it it's true - despite thorin later apologizing #and thinking of the book thorin can be considered an antagonist there too #he canonically becomes that for some time near the end when bilbo (the main protagonist) sides with the elvenking #although we could argue about that but i'm eepy #also in the book thorin doesn't explicitly suffer from dragon sickness so he's just being a dick #although we could argue about that too but... eepyness is winning #the hobbit #thorin oakenshield #bilbo baggins

#one of my treasured childhood memories drinking a blue slush puppy in the desert #i think it was in birdsville #or on the way to birdsville #im hearing word that they have a machine at a small supermarket not far from me... praying that it is there and functional #those driving trips... man. i remember my dad driving into the night with everyone else in the car asleep #we stopped for petrol and he got me a kitkat cornetto even though it was very cold (desert in winter)#that white searing light of the petrol station and then just endless silent blackness #studded with the little chains of lights on the side of road trains moving along distant highways #recently in rural tuscany i was talking to a winemaker who had visited australia some 20 years ago and the thing that stuck with him #about driving through the outback specifically #was how lonely it was. he could never see the lights of neighbouring towns because everything is so far apart #it was wonderful that he said it because it made me realise why i found staying out in that countyside so... i dont know comforting #because from the farmhouse i was staying in i could see at least three little towns light up at night!#gave me the same warm feeling as being on the island i spent a lot of time on growing up #although the island itself is completely undeveloped and largely national park with no electricity running water roads etc etc #you can see across the water the beginning of the long bright chain of coastal tourist towns on the mainland #anyway. being alone in the cold light of a petrol station floating in the middle of nowhere is a different feeling for sure.
