how do you draw a pirate hat. im a man on the edge of insanity <- trying to draw nurm

Ok so like.. I am NOT sentient whatsoever when I draw so I'm gonna level with you mate, I'm not sure either LMAO but I'll try and explain my process the best I can 😋😋

so this is how I draw Nurm's hat specifically. But, there are loads of other pirate hats which are all super cool! I recommend looking at different hats on Pinterest before you decide how you want to draw him hehe

Also, one of the best things about drawing Nurm is that his hat is super vague. Like actually what is that misshapen blob meant to represent.. he could be wearing a cowboy hat for all we know, so please go wild! It's super fun to play around with ideas LMAO

Here's some cool hats I found pretty quickly on Pinterest ☝️☝️ and there's loads more you can reference for different shapes and patterns!!

Anyways, usually I start with drawing th base for the hat here ☝️ I use a triangle as a guide.

I build up "walls" with more triangles here to get a better shape 😋😋

then I tidy it up and add the actual hatty part in the center where the head should go.

Then I can colour it in and add all the drip and pizazz I desire 😼

Please please use references when your drawing his hat 🙏🙏 don't be like me and go "fuck it we ball" cause pirate hats are WEIRDDDDD to draw LMAO

Also, it's handy to practice front and side views too! I find it gives me a better idea for the shapes n such. The front view is where I would recommend references the most though cause it is. Strange and annoying oh my days

But erm.. yah! Please please lmk if I didn't explain this well, I'll try be more detailed 🙏 but this is pretty much it hehe.

MY EXAMS ARE OVER 🥳🥳 the universe cheered !! I literally just gave my last exam this morning and it's 3:30pm rn we are so excited (the excitement will last a day until I'm bored)

I spent the day arranging my course material and being productive (felt nice) (because I know I'll rot for the whole break otherwise) anyway I have plans to be a girl (I'm just a girl) and order this really cute tote bag I saw online it was so cool

OTHER THAN THAT OH OH USER LQFILES I WATCHED A REALLY REALLY AMAZING MOVIE idk if you know about it. It's a Japanese movie called even if this love disappears from the world tonight and it's so 🥹🥹🥹🥹 it's so 🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹 heartbreaking. What if I collapse on the floor and cry. You should watch it ( of course you don't have to) if you're into sad soul shattering stuff (gonna go off a bit here and summarize the premise: there's a girl who has anterograde amnesia which is where your memories don't accumulate. So whenever she wakes up in the morning, she doesn't remember anything about what happened or what she did the previous day and this happens EVERY SINGLE DAY so she basically has to restart her life everyday. She keeps a diary in which she writes about her day every night before sleeping, and she has all these signs on her bedroom walls that basically tell her that she has amnesia and needs to read her diary to get to know about her life every morning. SO LONG STORY SHORT WITHOUT SPOILERS one day a guy comes up to her and fake confesses to her because some guys who were bullying that guy's classmate told him to do it in case he wanted his friend to stop getting bullied. He fake confesses to her and she SAYS YES and then they fake date, but for a while the guy doesn't know she has amnesia and then he finds out and that is where I'm stopping because everything else is like the main main plot)

HALLOWEEN COSTUME TIME!!! 

Okay! Considering their personalities, I’ve curated some Halloween costume ideas, and what they would wear (in their up-to-date age)! 

Robin

Since she’s older, she gets to be more expressive with her costumes! So her Halloween costume would probably be something inspired by one of her DND characters [yes, she’s into dnd like her dads, and she joined many campaigns throughout her young teen years]. She’ll put a lot of dedication into her costumes though, full on financial commitment too! They’ll be very extravagant, and she’ll definitely do a photoshoot with one of her uni friends! *Kyle and Stan found jaw dropped for their daughter’s dedication and creativity*

Isa

Guys, are we really surprised ☠️☠️☠️. Yeah well, her costumes would either range from casual character wear or dumb ass shit. If she’s serious about her costume, it would still be something like a jester or hyper pop/scene. If she’s in South Park around Halloween, then she’ll probably match with Cooper and Emilio. I’m pretty sure she convinced them for all three to match something dumb like the minions and gru 🙄✋

Emilio

Basic ass fucking costume ideas 😐😐😐 … okay, but maybe with a little bit more effort. Pirate? Vampire? Cowboy? Okay, yeah. Very cliche. Maybe they’re some Halloweens where he tries something different, but most of the time it’s nothing too creative. He definitely does put a little bit more effort here and there. Like he’ll wear jewelry for the pirate costume, or give himself eyeliner or paint his nails. It’s the only time he gets out of that comfort zone, I suppose. 

Cooper

He’s more committed to his costumes compared to Emilio. Sometimes he picks something basic like a knight or a zombie, but bro puts in the WORK! He does a couple character cosplays, but his most favorite is when he’s doing his very own spidersona costume! He’s down to match Halloween costumes, too. He’s done a Jessie and James one with Isa, and has done a Sanrio one with Kate. He’s very comfortable with his sexuality, so he doesn’t mind doing something crazy with feminine costumes or cross dressing. Sometimes he likes his costumes to relate with death for the jokes [ex: skeleton, grim reaper, zombie, plague doctor], it’s funny in his head. 

Kate

Very into those cutesy costumes. Has done sanrio ones as well. Cute animal onesies are her go-to when she can’t figure anything out. She also likes to do mythical creatures as well: fairies, witches, mermaids, angels, etc. She tries to get creative with them because she admires Robin’s commitment to her own costumes. If she’s over in South Park, she’ll ask for her help in doing her costume. She’s asked Cooper, Kenny, and Butters to match outfits with her too! 

Bonus

Not really Halloween related, but I’d like to think that Kenny and Butters make it a tradition that whenever there’s a movie they want to see coming out on theaters, they take all the kids to see it and they ALL dress up for the movie. Like when Barbie came out, they were all wearing pink. When the sonic movie came out, they each chose a character (Kenny and Butters were Eggman and Agent Stone skdkdkfk), and it’s just a thing they do for fun.

Imagine BUNNY and all the kids cosplaying as the characters in the movie and Butters just goes up the ticket booth like: “Seven tickets for the Five Nights at Freddy’s movie 😎☝️” IM DEAD AS HELL😭😭😭😭

Super duper important questions about IWMOY trust, I was wondering if Butters/Vic or kenny(at this point any of the parents) liked to put the kids in baby animal onesies cuz I can just imagine 60 onesies in the closet and the baby looking annoyed every time they have to wear one

Um second question what would their Halloween costumes be?(I know Halloween isn't till a few months but it's going to take a long time to draw their costumes 😔)

Also who would take the most pictures of their kids like who would have a billion pictures on their walls and like show off all of their kids achievements and such

Sorry if my question are dumb, u just really enjoy learning about the kids and their parents dynamics (ch14 made me this way😔)

Mhm yes 🙂‍↕️ this is a VERY serious question that requires a very serious and deeply thought out answer! WHICH IS WHY IM GOING TO GO FAR AND BEYOND AND EVEN GIVE YOU MY HEAD CANONS FOR THEIR BABY CLOTHES AS WELL. This response is in fact sooo long, I'm gonna have to break this into multiple parts! So please bare with me!😫🙏

Let’s start off with our dear McCormick family!!! 

Baby Coop

So I think they would have a couple of animal theme onesies for Cooper, but not a huge amount compared to the Marsh-Broflovski’s (which I’ll get back to that in a second). I can totally see Butters putting Coop in one of these (especially the cow one!! so cuteeee!)

They’ll probably have fun with it too, and get a couple of silly colorful ones as well!!

As for Cooper’s actual baby clothes, i believe they’ll get a couple of clothes they consider fun and cute! Lots of them would probably have cute animals or typical bear or dinosaur designs as well. 

Ok but imagine Karen coming to visit, and she says she found a parka onesie similar to this one right here(👇), but in an orange color. And she thought it would be so cute for Cooper to have one and match with Kenny! 🥹🥹🥹

Self indulgent a bit, but I like to think that one day, Kenny was out shopping and he found this goofy ass caterpillar onesie for Cooper, and they DEFINITELY have like 20 photos of him in it ☠️☠️☠️

Baby Kate 

Kate would be given the same onesies Cooper had worn as a child (if they end up fitting her). The koala fit her the cutest tho 🥺🫶! But Kenny and Butters end up buying a bit more and get her some themed capes or jumpers since she was around 16 months when they adopted her. Definitely more on the girly side!

As for her clothes, she’ll be given more of knitted sweaters or things with tiny flowers. Very cute cottage-core type of aesthetic. It fits her overall vibe and she looks super cute in them too!!! Knitted sweaters end up being her favorite article of clothing!
