Antis really think an unrealistic age gap is a problem in a FANTASY or SUPERNATURAL setting? Especially in the Bl3ach universe, where there's already a canon couple with that trope? Doesn't it sound silly?

They act as if Mortal X Immortal ships don't exist, as if they aren't a popular trope/dynamic in many forms of media. They call IR problematic because of it, but turn around & ship pairings like Yato & Hiyori (Noragami), Inuyasha & Kagome, Tomoe & Nanami (Kamisama Kiss), etc. Yet, they cross the line at IR?

They conveniently forget or ignore the fact Ichigo is a product of Isshin & Masaki, a canon couple that the antis support & like to use as "parallels" with their mid ship (even though those of us who can read know IM parallels IR). Isshin was probably way older than Masaki, older than Rukia even, yet once again, the antis cross the line at IR?

Hypocrisy, much? They only bring up the age gap when it's convenient for them. When they want to grasp at straws to invalidate IR. But all their arguments have a counter-argument to them 🤷‍♀️. IR is just that powerful 😌.

Ichigo & Rukia vibed so well right off the bat, getting on a first name basis early on, & often seemed to share the same brain cell 🤣.

Souls in Soul Society age much slower & differently than living humans. Rukia was the equivalent of Ichigo's age, so she was "15" in SS terms when they first met. Antis like to act as if she's some ancient hag or s*x goddess who's going to corrupt poor innocent Ichigo, yet Rukia showed to be quite innocent in many matters, not to mention, she thought kisses were only for greetings in one of the early chapters 💀. Out of the two, I'm pretty sure Ichigo would know more than her in these matters...

(I've also seen this stupid argument against HitsuKarin. They be calling Hitsugaya an "old man"!! Like, seriously?! How is he gonna "corrupt" Karin—by giving her a large stack of paperwork?! He's about 10-11 years old in SS terms, the equivalent of Karin's age, who was 11!! Then they both conveniently aged up to 12-13 after the 17-month timeskip... Just what was Kub0 getting at?!🤦‍♀️)

Not to mention, Ichigo felt very at home in Soul Society & got along so well with all the "ancient geezers & hags" there, even going as far as calling some of them by first name & hanging out with them like old buds (such as Renji). No wonder Ichigo didn't feel like he belonged in the Living World much; he really was born in the wrong generation (or world), lol... 🤪 He always showed to be more in touch with his shinigami side... (no wonder he chose that out of all his hybrid sides in TYBW, & yet... 😮‍💨)

Anyway, don't engage with the antis. Ignore/block/mute them. Follow the age-old fandom rule: just ship & let ship. Don't let the antis ruin your fun. There's so much IR content out there 😄.

i am a multishipper and it truly reflects in everything i ship in bleach. i swear i have shipped rukia and orihime with everyone at some point and you won't see me stopping anytime soon lmaooo

i remember this one deleted hitsuruki fic i read back when i was in early middle school??? on ffn and i still think about it even now. like they met in a library and eventually the relationship happens but rukia has some sort of mental illness she needs medication for which is why byakuya was so protective during the fic also hisana wasn't rukia's sister?? i don't think, she was like a gf byakuya had that he was hesitant introducing to rukia... i can't remember all the details, it was a fun ride though

The Wonderful Mr. Wonderswan

A little while ago I decided to finally fix my Game Gear. Previously I had no soldering skill but I'm one of those people who can do anything if I see someone else do it first. So I decided to teach myself to solder and do tech repair in general. I fixed my Genesis as a practice thing and then decided to see if I could find some cheap electronics to repair. Well if you know anything about the gaming market these days you know that retro gaming device prices are incredibly inflated right now and likely will never go down. Prices are so high here that people from other countries will sell their stuff on our auction sites because they know they'll get more.

I learned about a site while watching another YouTuber that lets you browse Japanese auction sites and place orders. Then they'll pick up the stuff and ship it to you. So I started browsing and found the Wonderswan. This was the perfect device for me to start with and I wanted to share with you this cool device. It's perfect for me because the Wonderswan is both plentiful and cheap, gameboys are certainly cheaper in Japan but other Americans can bid on them making them more expensive. So I chose the Wonderswan because it's Japan Exclusive.

Let's talk a bit about the history of this device since many of you likely haven't heard of it. On YouTube I talked about the Pokemon Mini and many didn't hear about that and that even released in the US. So:

What is the Bandai Wonderswan?

The story starts with the man who made the Gameboy, Gunpei Yokoi. After completing the gameboy and the massive success it was Gunpei moved on to make the Virtual Boy. Gunpei had said previously that once he reached 50 he was going to retire from game design and so he did. This didn't last long though as he and bandai entered a deal to make the Wonder Swan. He made and helped design the system and Bandai was going to produce it an bring it to market. But before the system could release Mr. Yokoi was struck by a car, cutting his life short. 2 years later the first Wonderswan hit the market.

At this point the Gameboy had gone through a few revisions and released in Color. But the Wonderswan's original system could only display in black, white, and 8 shades of gray. Just 42 short of the amount of grays we have today. It wasn't back lit either. But it had some very impressive features that made it stand out. For one the price made the Wonderswan very competitive costing only 5,000 yen at release, while the Gameboy Color was 12,800 yen. Making Wonderswan a budget console.

The Wonderswan also boasted 16 bit gaming despite being black and white and could run for 40 hours on a single AA battery. The system could also play games in vertical mode. That's why there are so many buttons on the left. Games like Gunpey (named after Gunpei Yokoi) play in vertical mode and use the top four buttons as the D pad. But being backed by Bandai also gave them some sweet benefits. Bandai even that far back had a lot of anime licenses and Japanese kids love anime. The Wonderswan was the go to system to play anime games on. Inuyasha, One Piece, Digimon, and even Square saw their potential in the midst of their falling out with Nintendo. At its peak the Wonderswan managed to carve out 8% of the gaming market in Japan and that's after being late to market.

The Wonderswan kept it light on revision consoles, a year after the first release they made the Wonderswan Color. For a while they focused primarily on getting games, making them, and offering bundles and console recolors themed after popular licenses like Gundam and Final Fantasy. But even after the release of the Color it was still cheaper than the gameboy color. Then the GBA came out. The GBA was offering massive gaming potential being a portable 32bit console. But the Wonderswan stayed 16 bit and offered one more revision, the SwanCrystal.

Each Swan revision had no backlight, and the crystal wasn't any different. But what's special about it is that its screen didn't really need one. I don't know how they did it but the screen was still very easy to see even in low light despite not having a backlight. This final version was also still dirt cheap costing only 8000 yen. Despite this the Wonderswan could no longer compete, the GBA was a powerhouse. Double the bits, double the power, much larger games, it was hard to compete. By the end of it's life cycle the Wonderswan was left with only 109 games.

Maybe things would have been different had Mr. Yokoi been alive still, and there is even a conspiracy that Mr. Yokoi was assassinated by hit men Nintendo hired. Many people I've mentioned this to were surprisingly willing to believe Nintendo would do that. But Nintendo had the international market and the Wonderswan stayed in Japan. I don't think Nintendo ever saw Mr. Yokoi or his wonderful device as a threat.

After all of this the Wonderswan has flooded Japanese auction sites. You can find tons of working Wonderswans selling for around $30, color for $50, and Swan Crystals for much more. You can find backlight modded versions in the $150 range, and junk originals for just under 10 dollars. This is why I'm buying them to work on the broken ones are very cheap. Even after shipping it'll only cost about $20 a device. But they're also easy repairs, like most Gameboys the broken ones mostly have easy fixes. Sellers will say stuff like "Leaking lcd" and in reality it's a polarizer that's adhesive is wearing away or the polarizer is burnt. After opening the repair is as easy as applying a screen protector. Corroded battery contacts are also common but an Alcohol bath fixes that.

Should I get a Wonderswan?

That really depends on your ability to speak and read Japanese. The vast majority of these titles are in Japanese with around only a fifth being able to be enjoyed without understanding it. If you're a collector I'd say go for it, even if you get a broken one they're easy to fix. If you're trying to flip them for a profit I don't see the American market being too great. Buying them can also be a pain as some resellers on Japanese auction sites want you to contact them immediately after winning. I don't know if it's xenophobia and they don't want to sell to westerners or if it's to prevent scams. Either way it's annoying. One reseller said in its description that if I don't have at least 10 purchases on my account that they'll cancel the sale and leave a bad review on my account. Don't know how I'm supposed to get more successful purchases if they won't accept mine. But what ever, if they don't want my money there are plenty of other sellers.

As for which model you should go for. If you're wanting to play games you should get at least a color with a flashcart. The color had exclusive games and a flashcart means you can play translations. Color games will say "Color" on the cart. But flashcarts for the Swan are very recent so the tech is expensive costing $120 on average. If you want the best screen possible and don't want to have to deal with a replacement or repair then you'll want a Swan Crystal but those are the most expensive and harder to get aside from IPS screen replacement models. If you can solder get a color and do an IPS replacement, it's easier to get a hold of than a Crystal. Don't bother getting an original unless you want it for collection's sake.

If you want to play the games but don't care about the system then get an emulator handheld like the RG28XX. They sell for around 30 on Anbernic's site and can handle Wonderswan emulation. Make sure whatever handheld you get though has at least 10 buttons because vertical games require the d pad plus 4 buttons.

What games should I try?

We'll save this for a part two as it requires a little more research, I'll also show some repair stuff in a future one. Once mine arrives. But I do know for sure that Gunpey is mostly in English.

What's the fic you've written with the angstiest ending? definitely A Troublesome Transition. i don't really do angst or character death all that often, but this one was cathartic to write.

What’s the fic you've written with the happiest ending? lol pretty much all of my fics have pretty happy endings. maybe Don't Fret Precious ( I'm Here ) ? it's a darker fic that definitely had the potential to be very angsty, but the reveal at the end and the devotion that these two lunatics have to one another is pretty sweet... maybe? What's a WIP that you want to finish but don't think you ever will? Puppet Master. i had really big plans for this one, but unfortunately it got lost in the shuffle and i've since repurposed the ideas i had for it.

What are your writing strengths? i think my strengths are characterization and keeping the world feeling grounded/true to the source material.

What are your writing weaknesses? i have a lot of insecurities about my fics being boring or not eventful enough. a lot of the times i focus so much on interpersonal relationships, i don't think there's really enough happening in the story. i'm also bad at bringing in ensemble casts. my fics definitely focus very heavily on just the two leads.

What are your thoughts on writing dialogue in other languages in a fic? i tend to avoid it unless it's very simple established pet names/phrases or something. i use italics and descriptors if they're not speaking in english. if the POV character isn't meant to understand, i'll just describe how the characters are speaking to one another in that language.

What was the first fandom you wrote for? yu yu hakusho on quizilla LOL i was a HUGE weeb. also wrote for inuyasha.

There are some facts about me, if any of you are interested, below the cut.

I was born, raised, and am currently in Texas. Yea-haw, I guess...

I love anime (I think I made that very obvious). I also love video games beyond words and measures.

My ambition is art. It's, as Yuma said in my fic, "My passion, my purpose, my reason for living!" It all began when I was watching my dad draw (he's so much better than I am), and he was drawing a picture from Sarah and Duck, and there was like, this moment that people have in movies where you just know. I knew I wanted to grow up and be an artist that could make pictures that looked completely official like he did, and so here I am.

Also, fun fact, Yugioh is the reason I'm as good as I am now, because my first time drawing from reference and really trying hard, was from an episode of DM.

I love to write as well.

I play Yugioh a lot. A WHOLE LOT.

I'm also a card collector, though I only collect Yugioh and Pokemon... Mostly Yugioh.

I'm fine and happy to have LGBTQ+ people here (after all, I ship a lot of queer characters), even though I am straight.

Doujinshi is my guilty pleasure.

I... I own 6 toads. And I love them very much. They're named Cuddlesworth, Mr. Chirps, Squirtle, Dark Magician Girl, Mr. Bones, and Vagabond. I've owned 14 in total, but... they don't typically live very long. They get diseases easily and due to that, I've just recently gotten over the loss of a sweet little guy named Visitor.

I'm learning Japanese, but I do not know how to speak much of it. (Mostly from watching the sub of Zexal without English subs on)

I also love music. I can play the couple songs I know on an electric keyboard. I also own a violin, but I'm waiting on a new bow.

Time to wax poetic and ramble about my OC nonsense for five-plus paragraphs again! Remember, none of this is related to RP; I'll be talking about the FanFiction version of Amaterasu! The version of her I roleplay with is a separate thing! The last thing I want is other Inuyasha RPers avoiding me because they think I'll only RP exclusively with Sesshōmaru RPers! >< I'm happy to interact with anyone! ♥️

Sesshōmaru is one of my oldest childhood crushed ever; Inuyasha was such a big part of my childhood because my family had the complete collection of DVDs, so it just makes too much sense I'd end up having an OC shipping with him as an adult. He's such a beautiful character, for one; I am cripplingly weak to guys with long hair. However, he's also so mysterious without being like... super edgy and broody, like this ethereal ghost with his own goal separate from literally everyone. Just flying around, doing his own thing, kicking ass, and looking fabulous doing it.

For me, making an OC for a pairing is the best excuse to get super OCD and channel my autistic brain into hours upon hours of studying a canon character—in this case, studying Sesshōmaru. People just fascinate me. Well... specifically, fictional people fascinate me. Real people are scary. However, when I was conceptualizing Amaterasu—this was long before I'd named her and settled on making her the Shinto Kami of the Sun—I couldn't for the life of me think of what would make good chemistry with such a complex character as him.

Sesshōmaru has so much subtlety to him that it's hard to tell what he's thinking or feeling, even with context clues. As I got older, though, it hit me. If Sesshōmaru is mysterious and powerful, the best counterpart would be someone equally powerful... but more open! (Note: I've never read the Manga, and this was before I'd seen The Final Act, and waaay before Yashahime was a thing... so I had no idea SesshRin was gonna be a canon thing. XD)

...Then my sadist brain had a Metal Gear Solid alert sound effect moment, lol. What if I made her a Kami, thus an opposite to him, and ran with a Romeo and Juliet-esque situation where they can never be happy together in the end? I thought I was being so clever back then, lol.

From there, I was like a woman possessed, writing about ten pages of headcanons, situations, etc., daily for a week. (Unfortunately, it was all on paper, and those old notes have been lost to time... very sad.) I not only wrote about potential interactions between Amaterasu and Sesshōmaru but also possible interactions and dynamics she might (in my FanFic, this doesn't = my expectations for people I RP with) have with other canon characters like Inuyasha, Kagome, Kikyō, Koga, Miroku, Sango, etc..

It was one of those magical moments where this fictional person you've made up in your head just comes alive, y'know? I love Amaterasu so much; I love that she's physically, mentally, and spiritually powerful. In many ways, despite seeming like such a calm, carefree queen, she wears her heart on her sleeve with her actions. I relate a lot to her perfectionism and always trying to be someone worthy. It was also entertaining to dive into the psychology of what it's probably like to be someone like Amaterasu... she was born in the highest position there is; she is the personification sun that keeps the world alive, and in Shinto, she's depicted as the mother of Japan (Grandmother to the first ever Emporer) and the most respected woman in the land. She's a god, but I imagine the way she thinks would be very human since the Shinto's depictions of their "gods," the kami, are very different from how modern religions depict gods.

The Kami are spirits of nature itself; they have enormous personalities to explain away why certain things happen, much like the Greek Pantheon. Yet, in my research, the Shinto Kami feel closer to humans than the Greek Gods because the Olympians stay on Olympus 90% of the time while Kami live and breathe their duty, their element. So I write Amaterasu as a figure of strength, warmth, and tenacity with a flaring temper she tries to manage so others don't get hurt. She admires other women who show inner strength and fight with their own hands, but she doesn't scrutinize women who are content to be passive or meek, either. She's protective of humans because she sees them all as her children and wants them to live long, fulfilling lives on whatever path they choose for themselves.

Throughout her story, Amaterasu tries so hard to do her best at everything she does, not just tunnel-visioning on defeating Naraku (her main objective and only ticket home) but stopping to help anyone in trouble or need, even if it might slow her down or delay her from reaching that big goal she's after. It's probably part of her I admire most; she's a good samaritan even if it's "beneath her," or "doesn't benefit her," or could even "hinder her" in some way.

She's an ideal I wish my cynical ass could be, lol.

My Inuyasha oc Kouko's last reference sheet was a bit outdated, and hard for me to properly use and colorpick from, so I figured I'd make a new, more in-depth, easier to use one! Now with a nicer formal outfit, because the last one was an eyesore- LMAO SUPER happy with how this came out though! o(≧▽≦)o This should make drawing her a lot easier, and just all around looks nicer.

Kouko Yoshida, Also known as 'The Sapphire Swordmaiden', is a stoic demon slayer wandering on her own with nothing but her sword, her horse, and her wits. Though her height, with her standing at about 6'2, and her closed off demeanor can make her look a bit cold if not downright intimidating, deep down she's actually just a warmhearted softy with a habit of feeding fish and other animals she comes across on her adventures and picking up pretty rocks. She's more of a gentle giant than anything else when it comes to people or animals, even if she harbors a deeply set grudge against near all demons for reasons she refuses to share.

She meets the main cast through a misunderstanding started through her having a jewel shard or two on her person that ends in the crew gaining two more shards, and a new party member.

She sticks near Kagome and Sango a majority of the time when she isn't alone, mostly because they seem the most trustworthy, with her being unsettled and freaked out by Shippo, and giving Miroku a near constant silent treatment after their first interaction. Though oddly enough Inuyasha seems to be more on her good side than either of the other guys on the team, with her seeing being half demon as being more trustworthy than a fullblooded one. They do end up falling in love, but that's only way later down the line after a long buildup.

I'll write down some little extra little facts about her below, but if you're interested in Kouko's backstory and relationship with Inuyasha more in-depth, you can check out her backstory post, and my “Get to know my ship!” Post

- Her horse is named Aiko, who she takes with her everywhere. She's had him for years, and he's her baby, she'd kill a man for that horse if needed, and likely has at some point. (I intend to draw Aiko in the future!)

- Her favorite hobbies are fishing and collecting rocks she finds pretty. Fishing soothes her mind, while also being a good way of getting food, and collecting rocks is just a culmination of her "Oo shiny" mentality and makes her happy LMAO She has a small bag of all of her favorites she's found over the years.

- She prefers meat over a majority of sweet foods, whether it be fish, chicken, or something else, she's happy with it. One of the few exceptions though is persimmons, which are her favorite fruit, and hold a special place in her heart.

- She has a lower, soothing voice. It gets rumbly and purr-like when she's tired or extra relaxed.

- She's afraid of bugs. Not things like Mister Centipede, but normal, run of the mill bugs. She gets so startled everytime Myoga pops up.  Huge demons are light work when compared to the actual two to three inch bug, and her excuse is how easily they could wriggle their way into things like clothes and bags, but they mostly just ick her out.

- Her emotional weakness is fire or smoke in general. She hates the smell of it, and tends to sit a ways away from any campfires they group has, either polishing her weapon, or sewing up rips in her clothes. This only changes later on, when she's gradually brought closer to the campfire little by little, and reassured that she's safe with them over time.

I'm so bad at coming up with stuff on the spot so I'm going to cheat a little and use something I jotted down last night (which is probably more than 50 words 😆). This is for my main WIP, which I have talked about before but am not going to name so I can be all secretive and mysterious🤣: ------- "Do you have any informants in Hawaii?" Inuyasha asked.

Miroku seemed taken aback, but recovered quickly. "Actually, yes. One of my oldest confidants, Hachi, spends most of his time island-hopping. Why?"

"Could you -- Is there any chance he could -- Or you could ask --"

"Aw, are you trying to ask me for a favor?" His stupid blue eyes lit up like a child, and Inuyasha's hands balled into fists. "This must be important. You can do it, use your words."

Fuming, Inuyasha's cheeks burned, which he covered up by punching his annoying partner in the arm. He so badly wanted to tell him to forget it, since Miroku was pretty much insufferable when gloating. But since this was likely his only shot to help Kagome while they were gone, he took a deep breath and swallowed his pride.

"Do you think you could ask him to keep an eye on someone for me?"

"Stalking, huh? I didn't take you as the type."

"Fucking what -- no! I just...need to know she's safe. Alive. Nothing more than that."

"Oooh...she? This keeps getting better!"

Inuyasha's eye twitched, calling on every last bit of restraint he possessed not to knock the shit-eating grin off of Miroku's stupid face.

"Can you do that for me or not?" he ground out.

Miroku seemed to realize just how close he was to getting his ass beat, because his expression turned serious. "You just want a visual confirmation of safety?" Inuyasha nodded. "How often?"

"Whenever he can manage it...once a week, every few days, whatever."

"I believe that can be arranged. I'll ask him...on one condition."

"For fuck's sake, what?"

"That you tell me what the deal is with you and this woman."

Inuyasha rolled his eyes. "Why are you like this?"

I feel like Inuyasha and Kagome would probably move pretty fast in their relationship once she returned through the well. I imagine them being engaged and making out all over the place within the first few weeks. After all that time apart thinking they'd never see each other again, and since Kagome's decision to return is the ultimate show of commitment anyways, I think they'd want to make up for lost time and just go for it. That being said, I don't imagine them having sex the same day she comes through the well or anything like that. But I also don't think it'd take them a really long time to cross all of those milestones off their list. Somewhere in the middle, like a few weeks to maybe a couple months. I love reading fics that explore all of the different possibilities though, and can get behind almost any explanation/head canon.

🪐 ⇢ name three good things going on in your life right now

Work is slower than it's ever been at the moment, to the point where I have had days and days of absolutely nothing to do while working at home and still getting paid (I'm salaried). My bosses have shockingly not tried to give me any busy work (there really isn't much else to do since our work is entirely project-based), so I've had a lot of time to catch up on my life and do fun things lately. It is the ultimate luxury and very rare, so I'm soaking it up while I can because once things get busy again my entire life will go back to revolving around my stupid job.

My mental health has finally reached a stable place, and I've been feeling pretty good overall. After years of depression and anxiety, it's a huge relief to feel back on solid ground again.

Our house is coming together slowly but surely. We are just about to paint the room we're currently renovating, and then just have to do flooring and we'll have another space finished and ready to use!

I have a lot to be grateful for right now, things are good 🥰

-Currently 16.

-Currently 800,424. (Will change for sure on the 15th haha.)

3 – What fandoms do you write for?

-Skyrim, Five Nights at Freddy's / Security Breach, Undertale, Divinity Original Sin 2, and Baldur's Gate 3.

4 – What are your top five fics by kudos?

-Precious People, Four Makes a Family, That Little Thread, My Neighbor Mr. Roboto, and Forgive Me, for I Have Sinned. (Greatest to least in the top five.)

5 – Do you respond to comments?

-I try to respond to every comment I can, but some I just don't know how to respond to! I'm mentally kissing every commenter on the head though. Mwah.

6 – What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?

-Angstiest ending? I don't know if I've ended anything super angsty, despite my love for the genre. I prefer hurt/comfort. Can't say I can answer this one.

7 – What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

-Oh, That Little Thread for sure. But only because TESSDE isn't remotely finished haha. But I'm still very proud of how TLT came out. :)

8 – Do you get hate on fics?

-I have had a stray hate comment here and there, but I just meme and dab on the haters until they die from their own cringeness. #HatersLoveMe

9 – Do you write smut? If so, what kind?

-...The smut kind? I'm not sure I understand. Read 'You're a Feisty One, Aren't You? I Like That', if you need specifics, I guess. (Only if you are above age obviously.)

10 – Do you write crossovers? What's the craziest one you've written?

-Oh my god I used to on FFNET. I don't think it's crazy, but even before I discovered FFNET, my friend got me into writing crossovers, and it was a massive Inuyasha, Fruits Basket, Code Geass, and Death Note combination with self inserts. I miss it, it was a good stupid time, haha.

11 – Have you ever had a fic stolen?

-I've had people try to tell me they can't get writing down correctly, and oh, would you mind helping me write this out? What about this? Until slowly I'm literally writing their story and they're POSTING IT ONLINE. ON Ao3/FFNET. LIKE. A PARAGRAPH AT A TIME.

But also I was one of the first few people who had the Ao3 scalpers target their fics, but I have no idea if someone is out there on Wattpad or something using my shit. I don't self search, so I do not know.

-Nope!

13 – Have you ever co-written a fic?

-Yes! Not on Ao3 though. (Ah good old days of middle school and writing dumb things with friends.)

14 – What's your all-time favorite ship?

-I'm a self shipper by trade, I'll admit it. But I was a very big Sesshoumaru / Kagome shipper in my baby years. Now I lean more towards Loid / Yor. Love those idiots.

15 – What's a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?

-TOO MAN TO NAME. I REGRET LEAVING ANY FIC UNDONE, BUT I'LL NEVER BE ABLE TO GO BACK. The past is in the past and it's time is over, unfortunately.

16 – What are your writing strengths?

-Focusing on characterizations and researching accuracies for making things logical not only in the fantasy realm but also reality. I love combining the two and giving people a little educational lesson along side their story time. It pleases me to teach others new things and myself. I also think my pacing has gotten a lot better over the years.

17 – What are your writing weaknesses?

-I tend to structure things differently than most people, and genuine writing formats— even using em dashes, I never learned until this year the difference between it and a hyphen— so it comes across as lesser than other people's writing, I think. Less polished. I like bouncing things around textually, having breaks in spots to let the mind "breathe" in between words or phrases to try and give it a bigger impact, but it weakens actual structures sometimes.

That and word choices. I'll be stuck for ages on what word to use. I hate repeating words or phrases, so it'll take me longer than necessary to just choose a damn word.

18 – Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?

-I've done it many times and think it's fine! I use translators because I am unfortunately only educated in English (and my brain has difficulties learning other languages), but I try my best and do ask around friends if things are accurate if they speak the language.

If you're not sure what it says, just translate it through a friend or Google. Or, read the bottom AN to see if the author translated it for you. I grew up with American's using broken Japanese in their fanfics, you think I'd see dual languages any different? Lol.

19 – First fandom you wrote for?

-Inuyasha? Naruto? Crossover? I don't remember!

20 – Favorite fic you've written?

-Biased. 'The Elder Scrolls Skyrim: DragonBard Edition', otherwise known as TESSDE. It's my bread and butter, my longest length story, and one I would die to complete. We're technically half way there in terms of arcs, but definitely not in chapters, haha. I look forward to the day it's complete, and I hope others enjoy it too.

1. How many works do you have on A03?

31! Wow! Not even counting my FF.net and Spirit (portuguese site) fics too. I think adding them would be around 50? I know for sure I have much more than that in my drive.

2. What's your total A03 word count?

739.765 Whaaaaat? That's so many! And it's mostly the ones I write in english!

3. What fandoms do you write for?

Inuyasha, Katekyo Hitman Reborn, My Hero Academia and Legend of Zelda, more specifically LU!

4. What are your top five fics by kudos?

A Link in a chain . My first LU fic! My baby <3 Modern day, soulmate marking and platonic soulmates. The main focus is Wild getting to know them, then Legend accepting the others and finally Spirit joining them.

All Might said 'No'. This was a prompt for a MHA server and I had a lot of fun! All Might is the literal quirk, like a ghost protecting the Midoriyas.

Alpha and Omega. That was a challenge! In almost every way possible. Omegaverse, Toshinko

Merman. Also from a prompt. Merperson au, Toshinko.

Soul clock. Also from a prompt. Soulmate au where there's a clock counting down the time until you meet your soulmate. Toshinko and some platonic relationships mentioned too

5. Do you respond to comments? Why or why not?

Always! I love to receive comments. Even key-smashing make my day a lot better when I check the email

6. What's the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?

Probably The Sacred Trees. It's more like a happy ending with heavy consequences. I live for happy ending, not sorry about that. They will suffer but they will be happy eventually.

7. What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

All of them? I'd dare say the happiest was Took You Long Enough, a Midlink reunion during LU and then afterwards. From the concluded, that's the happiest one but there's an even better one coming from a different fic not posted yet :D

8. Do you get hate on fics?

Not recently, but I did in the Inuyasha and Katekyo fandom! I usually say a simple "thank you for your critique" because this usually throw people off enough that they leave me alone.

9. Do you write smut?

No! There's some heavily implied things, but nothing graphic or very descriptive (by very heavily, I'm counting the omegaverse fic too; I liked the concept but wanted something with less sex)

10. Do you write crossovers?

Not oftenly, but yes! The last one I wrote was a MHA and LU crossover when the brain was divided between them.

11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?

Once! The person copied one of my biggest series in portuguese, changed the name of the characters and some physical descriptions but it was basically the same. I asked them to put down, but had to dm some of the site's admin to make sure it was deleted.

12. Have you ever had a fic translated?

Yes! Once by a friend from the MHA fandom and they encouraged me a lot to write more in english and give it a try. I'm here now so thanks to her!

13. Have you ever co-written a fic before?

Yes! It will never see the light of day though, but my bestie and I created a whole novel about a couple and how the wife slowly got mad and then killed him in the end.

14. What's your all-time favorite ship?

Hmm, that's too hard! I have many favorites!

Probably Zelink. LoZ is my old new obsession, it always go back and forth between the games as they are released or as I play again and the animes I'm watching. BotW and TotK gave me so much shipping material I'll be happily reading it until the next game is released.

A close second would be Kyoya/Chrome from KHR. I just love their dynamic, specially when they help each other to grow (and Mukuro being a gremlin jealous older sibling, that's the cherry on top)

15. What's the WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?

A fanfic for the Grand Chase game when I played it. Ryan almost dies when they cross a desert, Ronan is sent to another world and needs to complete some quests to do that (he's my fav alright? I just needed a reason to send him to another world and do quests by himself, maybe question his faith and all that). I wrote maybe 30k? The idea is lovely and taunts me from a distance but I've never come back to writing it

16. What are your writing strengths?

A very good question... I'd say creating AUs. I love world building and leaving small details that have significance for the story later, I think I do an okay job at balacing dialogue and descriptions. My beta says I'm good at leaving crumbles in the story to solve the problem in the end too

17. What are your writing weaknesses?

Punctuation in any language! Ugh, I just love commas sooooo much!

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic?

English punctuation doesn't make much sense for me until now! I'm relying heavily on the corrector and trying to read more to see if I can absorb the info.

19. First fandom you wrote for?

Inuyasha!

20. Favorite fic you've ever written?

I'm very self indulgent when writing so I like most of them. I'd say the longest time favorite in portuguese is Librarian, a Toshinko fic where Inko is the hero and Toshinori is a librarian she meets because her son is a book geek. In english is A Link in a chain.

what made you pick up the current muse(s) you have? I honestly just picked Kagome up after having played Inuyasha, Kikyou, and then Naraku as main muses...The RP group I was in in the ancient and not well-known any longer AOL chat rooms had everyone but a Kagome. So, I made the screen name Kagome ex Miko in 2002 (which I still have as an AOL email to this day) and my miko was born. and--she just stuck with me...and has stuck with me for over two decades to this day.

is there anything you don’t like to write? There are ship games I won't touch with a 30-foot pole, but if I speak truly--I can be up for just about anything, as long as it gets interesting.

is there anything you really enjoy writing? I love a good AU~Those are always fun! And you never know where it'll go or end up. Mostly though, as said, I'm good with just about anything.

how do you come up with headcanons?  Most of my headcanons come through the playing of my muse...Something happens during the game and BAM that's a new HC. Like for instance-unlike common fanon, I HC that Kagome's dad was a jackass and left her Mama and her shortly before Souta was born. Also, I HC that Kagome is in fact NOT Kikyou's reincarnation.

do you write in silence or do you play music?  Depends, I multi-task while I write, so sometimes I write while something plays in the background, and sometimes I don't.

do you plan your replies or wing them? I don't plan my replies. The few times I've tried--I never wound up using them. So, winging all the way!

do you enjoy shipping?  I am not a ship whore with my Kags...lmao. Her and Inuyasha are like the only characters I have ever had that I cannot STAND shipping them with anyone else other than each other....and Kikyou. I will not lie. I can, will, and do ship them with Kikyou, too.
