Umbrella academy subway code
So the way my brain works, I love a puzzle. ADORE a puzzle. So seeing that encrypted language all over the subway in season 4? It gave me an itch in my brain that needed to be solved. Playing around with it, it looked like a substition cipher, simple switch for letters and symbols. But with any TV show and props, there is a chance that someone in the prop department just threw together something random.
However. When I started looking, excluding the subway station names, there were 26 unique symbols. Which couldn't be a coincidence.
And it wasn't.
I started off by giving each symbol a letter, and then looking at frequency analysis. This got me some of the way there, (managed to get THE as a consistent correct pattern) but for less common letters the system fell apart. I was shown an image from the propstore auction (thanks @hansodax) so decided to focus on just this.
By doing the conversion to letters and then running again through a frequency analysis it was looking consistent with english. A couple of runs through a substition cipher decrypter and the word time line popped out. Just some manual clean up then needed.
Here are my translations for some of the graphics we see in the season
Prop images are from the umbrella academy auction items on prop store.
SYSTEM MAP
ATTENTION
The timeline is important for your sanity. But there is no way to game the system. All will be revealed. When the answer is obvious the solution will be achieved. Until then the timeline must be respected.
ALENOSTU
I thought this was random until the incredible @hansodax thought to translate it.... It means loneliness. I'm 90% sure this still is from the first timeline they go to. The one where original Five is alone. Holy shit!
and the lettering on the subway car itself is also random, as using the same encryption just gives nonsense. I did suspect that might be the case given that the same symbols are repeated over and over on diferrent signs. Just in case I did invert, but upside down it doesn't match the alphabet.
Other signs used appear to be multiple letters and some new symbols mashed together:
I suspect a proper language was created for the initial prop of the map, and then the symbols used to decorate other surfaces without meaning behind them. Another consideration is that there are numbers in the mixed together symbols, but these are often harder to crack.

A/N: Finally another fic is out! I've been busyyy and I know this is not going to be a consistent updating as my previous fic but I will try my best because this was more fun to write. Also, my favourite football (soccer) team is not performing well since a few weeks ago and it's been depressing yall...im not okay...fuckkk Hope yall enjoy this one even tho yall may not be soccer fans.
â May 2024 â
"Dad! Let's go!"Â
9-year-old Sarah stood by the truck, waiting for her dad to get out of the house. She tapped her foot restlessly, annoyed that Joel was taking longer than expected to get ready to go. She was excited to watch her favourite soccer team, Austin Violet Football Club, play the first game of the new season. She was dressed in the home jersey and shorts, pairing them with the team's scarf around her neck, hair styled as space buns with the help of Joel. The club director invited her to watch the game after signing a 2-year contract for the Austin Violet Football Academyâa part of the Austin Violet FC consisting of both men and women.Â
Sarah was an aspiring soccer player. She fell in love with the game at 6, when her great-grandmother played it on TV while she was babysitting her. Since then, she had been going on and on about soccer, and Joel signed her up for a youth soccer club nearby that honed her soccer skills to be selected for Austin Violet Football Academy. It was the most ecstatic she had ever felt in her 9 years of a lifetime when Joel told her that she was selected to join the youth academy. Nothing could compare to the endearment in his heart when he witnessed Sarah explode with joy.Â
"The game ain't going nowhere, baby girl. We still got time." Joel said over his shoulder as he locked the door.Â
Sarah groaned loudly, exasperated, seeing her dad taking the whole time in the world as if he were doing it intentionally. Her shoulders slumped forward, the AVFC scarf around her neck swaying slightly at both ends to her movement. With keys dangling in his hand, he opened the passenger door for Sarah, and she side-eyed him before climbing into her seat, complaining under her breath. Joel sighed heavily, having to deal with her daughter's attitude again.Â
-----
The Violet Crown Football Stadium was almost packed with thousands of supporters from the home and away teams. Everyone was hyped with the anticipation of the first game, chanting endlessly, as loud as they could. The setting sun painted the field orange mixed with the green grass, blanketing it with warmth. The smell of summer is swaying to the beat of the surrounding air. Sarah looked around in awe, watching the fans around her cheering for the team. She could not help the smile appearing on her face as she immersed herself in the moment.Â
They were seated in the suites section, which was where other VIPs, players not in the squad, players' family members, or other relevant individuals were seated. The suites were at the middle level, where the game could be clearly viewed. While Sarah was busy scanning everything around her, Joel was on his phone, talking to Tommy about work.
Even though Joel was supportive of her passion for soccer, he did not take the time to be fully invested in AVFC. He knew the rules of the game and only of her favourite player at the time, Kiara King, the striker for Austin Violet women's team. He supported the team in his own way. Without Sarah's love for soccer, he would not have watched soccer but be indulged in baseball instead. There were underlying emotions and memories stuck deep inside him that he did not want to resurface again whenever soccer came to mind.
"Enough about work; Sarah must be real excited about the game," Tommy said.
"Tell me about it," Joel sighed. "She was rushing me until we got in the stadium today."Â
Joel turned his head to look at Sarah, whose eyes were sparkling with admiration as she watched the players walk out of the tunnel. The whole stadium roared with claps and howling cheers. It was getting harder to hear Tommy through the phone, with the loud noises filling the stadium.Â
"I know you don't follow the team that much but they signed a new player at the end of the summer break," Tommy updated him with the news.
"Oh, really?" Joel said in a disinterested voice as he looked down on the field. Due to the distance, he could not see the players' faces.
The display screen started to show each player of the home team while the announcer introduced them one by one, starting with the goalkeeper and slowly progressing to the attackers. The stadium erupted with cheers for each of the players that had been introduced.
"You won't believe who their new signing is," Tommy's voice sounded distorted in Joel's ear.
"I'll call you back later! I cannot hear you right now! The game is starting already. Bye!" Joel shouted into his phone before ending the call without waiting for Tommy's response.
Sarah stood in her seat, jumping up and down, shouting excitedly with the rest of the supporters while Joel stared at her lovingly. The announcer started to announce the midfielders and the name he had long forgotten blasted through the stadium speakers, catching his attention back to the screen and confirming his doubts.Â
There you were, waving to the crowd that welcomed you with big arms and a smile on your face. The smile that played a significant role in his childhood was now back in town. He was confused with the longing he did not expect to feel as he looked at you, guilt on his face. Suddenly, the noises around the stadium died downâmuffled in his earsâthe long lost memories with you that he continuously tried to lock away flooded his head. He could not erase the image of you, eyes brimming with tears as you turned to leave him 12 years ago. Out of his life. Now, you were back to haunt him.
"Dad! Look! She's wearing my number!" Sarah shook him out of his thoughts, pointing at your jersey numberâ20âthe same as her birthdate.Â
What kind of a sick game is the universe playing with him, seeing the coincidence of you wearing Sarah's favourite number on your back.
-----
23 years ago, your family moved from Dallas to Austin due to your father's job, and moving into a new home brought you a lot of emotions. You were excited to live somewhere new but also sad to be unable to be with your friends anymore.
It was the first day of school. You were sitting at your table, waiting for someone to sit beside you as your table partner. The kids in the class looked wary as they came in, not knowing what to expect for the first day. A few kids had reddish eyes because they were crying and were not emotionally ready for 1st grade. You were not one of them.Â
Your father had already trained you to be tough from the get-go. He was teaching you soccer right when you started learning to walk. Little did you know, he did it to live his dream through yours. He was the definition of tough love. He did not go easy on you during his home training. Sometimes, losing his patience, hurling insults and hitting you, but you took everything like a champ because if not, the anger in him would be thrown toward your mom.Â
Growing up, you witnessed the treatment that your mom got from him. You got in between them most of the time, wrapping your body around your mom to protect her, but what can a small and frail kid like you could do compared to the tall and big figure of your father?Â
"Hi! I'm Joel. What's your name?"
A voice beside you brought your mind back to the classroom. You turned your head to find a boy with a smile that could light the whole classroom brighter than it already was. His hand is out towards you, expecting a handshake.
"Hi, Joel." You replied, taking his hand as you gave him your name.
"That's a pretty name," he said, his dimples on display as he smiled, which rendered you speechless. Your heart stopped for a beat at that moment, and it felt very strange because it was the first time you had felt that way, especially by a boy.Â
"Thank you." You thanked him with a shy smile sent his way.Â
From then on, the two of you were inseparable. He followed you everywhere you went, and you did not mind him at all, enjoying his company. He talked to you about everything, be it his favourite TV show, his favourite animal, or even his embarrassing moments. He was not afraid to tell you about his grandma, who was taking care of him and his baby brother once his mom left after their dad's death the previous year.
You saw his forlorn eyes as he told you the story. You empathised with the amount of hurt in his voice as you listened. In return, you confided in him about your parents. About how strict your father was towards you and how it pained you to see your mother's suffering, not being able to stand up for herself.Â
You were surprised when he pressed himself against you, arms circling your body. He was hugging you, and you learned that it was his way of comforting not just you but himself as well.
The two of you bonded through the traumas and the amount of time you spent together during and after school. Although, most days after school, you couldn't play with him and the other neighbourhood kids due to your father's intense training sessions, he always filled you in on the things you missed. He always welcomed you like no other kid does. He did not judge you because of the circumstances that you were living in.Â
Even though he lived at the other end of the street, he would cycle past your house just to see how your training was going in your front yard. Your father had noticed him cycling past a couple of times, but he did not say a word; he only sent his hardened glares towards Joel, which the brave 7-year-old did not cower away from.
There were times when you got distracted by Joel, which resulted in you receiving harsh punishments for not focusing on your training. Tears formed in your eyes from the pain in your body whilst you carried on with the punishments, but that didn't stop you from secretly waving at Joel as he passed by, smiling at you.Â
On days without training, you joined Joel and the other kids cycling and exploring the neighbourhood. Not afraid to get dirty, you found yourself rolling around in the grass field as you looked at the boys who were playing fights or flying kites. Joel never left your sideâalways making sure you were taken care of, not wanting you to get in trouble with your father if you got injured while messing around.Â
Sometimes, he can be too much about the little thingsâconstantly wiping dirt off your face and other parts of your body as if you are not used to it, trying to carry you when you were perfectly fine with walking, or even worse, covering your ears whenever the boys said a bad word which didn't even come close to what you have already heard from your father. You were an independent kid, so you were annoyed when Joel started to treat you like a baby, but you didn't call him out on it, knowing that was just his big brother instincts.Â
You shared everything about school with your mom whenever you reached home. It was the only time you could comfortably talk with her without Dad's presence in the house. She would coo when you told her about the things Joel did for you, finding it sweet that there's a kind boy out there taking care of you. You complained to her about how Joel was treating you like a baby, thinking she would take your side, but you found her laughing softly at your annoyance.Â
"I like Joel. He sounds like a good friend, " your mom said softly, caressing your head.
"He is." You nodded your head, looking at her with your big round eyes.
"I'm happy you found a good friend, bubba." She kisses the crown of your head, lips lingering there for a while.
"He found me first, mama." You innocently corrected her, and she just smiled to herself, hugging you tight.
-----
â June 2024 â
Players were lined up in the tunnel, getting ready to get out to the field for the match. According to the positions you play, you were standing in the middle of your team's line, shaking your limbs to rid the nerves away. Each player was allocated a child mascot to walk to the field. There was a girl around the height of your chest, standing beside you. You noticed her staring at you with admiration in her big, round eyes. You instinctively smiled as you bent down to meet her eyes.Â
"Hi! What's your name?" you asked her in a higher-pitched voice, similar to that you used when talking to kids.Â
"Sarah," She meekly replied with a bashful smile, still maintaining eye contact with you.
Her smile reminded you of someone, but you could not put a face on it. You ignored the thoughts of her looking familiar to you for some reason.
"Is this your first time being a mascot?"Â
"Yes," Biting her lip out of being scared.Â
"You don't have to be nervous, okay? You got me." You reassured her, seeing how nervous she looked.Â
She nodded her head slowly, trusting you with your words.
"I like your hair, Sarah. It's pretty." Pointing at her space buns as you compliment her, trying to distract her from her overwhelming feelings.Â
"Thank you. My dad helped me with it." Her eyes widened. She tilted her head towards you to show the work of art her father had created.Â
"Your dad?! Wow! He did a pretty good job." Your smile grew wider, and you adored how she was bragging about it.Â
The image of your father crept up in your mind. You cannot help but compare your father to hers. From just hearing that Sarah's father did her hair, you knew that he must be a wonderful dad to her. He definitely adores her so much, even to master the hairstyles for his daughter.Â
Meanwhile, your father was still psychologically and emotionally abusing you at 30. You were glad to be able to make it to pro, leaving the house, away from his grasp. He will call you after every gameâwhether your team loses or winsâhe will criticise your mistakes. Not once has he said that he was happy and proud of you despite your achievements. After some time, you don't even expect or want to hear that from him. There were times you purposefully ignored his calls, but a few hours later, your mom would be calling as she sobbed, begging you to just listen to what he had to say.Â
After you left Austin at 18, you told your mom that you would do whatever it took to let her be free from your father. However, she insisted that she loved him too much and could not bear to leave him alone, knowing he would suffer from the fallout. You get that he is the love of her life, but it hurts so much to see the relationship infested with so much toxicity that she thinks it's better to hold on to it instead of letting go.Â
"Does your dad do your hair, too?" Sarah pointed at your hair, which you had braided.
"No, I did it myself. Is it nice?" You let her touch your hair as you answered her.
"It's so beautiful!" She adoringly exclaimed.
"Aw, thank you!"Â
You heard the shuffling of the players at the front of the line, starting to move out of the tunnel.Â
You held out your hand for Sarah to take. "Are you ready to make your dad proud?" You raised your eyebrows expectantly.
She nodded her head vigorously, moving along by your side. The cheering slowly got louder as you walked out, and when you finally stepped into the field, you felt Sarah's hand gripping you tighter. You placed your other hand on hers, caging her hand between both of yours to let her know that you were there with her. You know it's not easy for a kid to walk out to a full stadium that is overwhelming with shouting and cheering.Â
Eventually, everyone was lined up perfectly, side by side, facing the cameras. The children were standing in front of the players, and you placed your hands on Sarah's shoulders, ensuring she was okay. You noticed her looking up towards the suites section when you followed her gaze. She was probably looking at her father, you thought. However, there were so many faces everywhere that you could not search for and focus on just one person. Hell, you did not even know what her father looked like.Â
After shaking hands with the opponent team, Sarah and the other kids had to return to the tunnel. Before she went off, she turned to hug you.
"Thank you!" she said while her cheek was pressed in your chest. Her eyes closed as she embraced the moment. You wrapped your arms around her shoulders, swaying her from side to side.Â
"Well, aren't you our lucky charm? Just watch because we're gonna win this game for sure."
She grinned from ear to ear, slowly letting go of you. Ugh, it's annoying that she looked so much like someone you know, but you don't know who exactly it was.Â
"See you around, you lil angel" You pinched her cheeks before returning to your starting position.
Sarah must have been your lucky charm because your team won that game. Since then, she has always been in your mind whenever you stand in the tunnel before a game. She had quite an impact on you. You never figured out why she looked familiar to you until the day you met her again.
-----
Joel and Sarah were walking hand in hand through the hospital corridor, the unmistakable sterile scent present in the space weighing heavily on their shoulders. The floor was quieter than usualâvisiting hours were finishing in a few hours. Sarah was still in her soccer fit from earlier training while her bag was swaying along on Joel's shoulder. Trudging into the wardroom at the end of the hall, Joel let go of Sarah's hand, who ran inside as soon as she saw her great grandma, Nana.
"Nana!" She shouted, rushing towards the bed.Â
"Look who it is! My bunny!" Nana excitedly opened her arms, waiting for Sarah's hug.
They stayed embracing each other for a period of timeâSarah pressed her cheek on Nana's shoulder while Nana slowly stroked the back of Sarah's head. Joel witnessed the moment that had been a usual occurrence for him recently.
The first time when he got the call from Tommy on the day Nana was admitted to the hospital, he had almost forgotten how to breathe. His stomach plummeted to the ground-hearing the trembling in Tommy's voice saying Nana could have died if he had been late to come back home from work. He did not know how he got to the hospital with Sarah when his head was clouded with worry. He carried Sarah on his back when they got out of the car and went inside as fast as possible.
It was as if someone had ripped his heart out and left him to bleed out alone when his gaze landed on Nana's lying form on the bed with tubes sticking to her body. Nana was his grandma who literally raised both of the Miller brothersâsingle-handedlyâafter her daughter left them in her care. So, to see the person who was very dear to him go through something that horribleâheart failureâaltered something deep in him for a while.Â
It had been a week since she was admitted, and Joel was still processing that. This was the second time she had to go to the hospital because her condition seemed to worsen over time. He knew he had to prepare for the worst scenario sooner or later, but he was still in denial about it allâhe didn't want to let go of his constant. In a way, he didn't want to face his abandonment issues from the women in his lifeâhis mom, you and Talia.
"How are you, Nana?"Â
"Never been better." Nana gave Sarah a cheeky wink.
"I saw you on TV yesterday. I'm so proud of you, bunny." Nana leaned in to kiss Sarah on the crown of her head.Â
"Did you see her? She was standing with me." Sarah was elated to share her experience as a child mascot with you.
"I did! Did you talk to her?" Nana asked.
"She was so nice, Nana. I like her. I think she's my favourite player now." Sarah's eyes were dreamy as she gushed about you to her great-grandma.
"C'mon now, you change your favourite player every month." Nana's voice was flat as she rolled her eyes jokingly at Sarah
"No I don't," Sarah argued, lying through her teeth. Nana was speaking the truth. Sarah changed her favourite player almost every month according to her mood, but this time it was different. To be physically in the presence of the team and the good impression that you made on her struck a chord in her to choose you as her number one player no matter what.
"Whatever you say, bunny."Â
Joel was already sitting beside the bed, listening to his daughter talk about his childhood best friend. For the past 12 years, he had reflected on what had happened throughout high school. It was a terrible experience for him when he looked back on itâchasing popularity, peer pressure, toxic masculinity, and, for the worst part, leaving you alone in your misery when you needed him the most. His apology was long overdue, and he thought he had already lost the chance to speak to you until you returned.
"Can I tell you a secret?" Nana lowered her voice, which made Sarah lean in slightly, curious about the secret. "I've met her as a kid before." This fact made Sarah part her lips in shock, and her eyebrows shot up fast to her forehead.Â
"Really?" Sarah's voice was barely louder than a whisper while she stared at Nana.
"Nanaâ"Joel spoke for the first time to interrupt Nana. He was slightly afraid to let his past and current life crash, not knowing how to handle it if it came to light.Â
"She is a friend of your father." Nana ignored his warning and continued to tell Sarah the facts about the past.
"She is? You didn't tell me."Â Sarah swiftly turned around to Joel, furrowing her brows, feeling slightly betrayed that her father had known you personally all this while and kept it a secret.Â
Joel gave Nana an annoyed look, disappointed that she told Sarah about his connection with you. His jaw tensed before he opened his mouth to explain himself.
"That was a long time ago. We are not friends anymore." That was the best he could say, and he could tell from Nana's expression that she was disappointed in him as she recalled the time she had heard what had happened to you.Â
"What happened?" Sarah questioned him, paying full attention to him, hearing the story for the first time.
"She left Austin to play professional soccer, and we didn't talk anymore." He shrugged his shoulders as he explained to Sarah in the simplest terms. If it was laid out on the table, the truth was that he fucked up. He did not want Sarah to know that because he wouldn't be able to handle his daughter's disappointment in him.Â
"Was she a nice person back then, too?" Her big round eyes were still lit with curiosity as she learned new facts about her favourite player.
Joel reminisced about the time he spent knowing you with a longing look in his face. His eyes looked out the window by the bed, absentmindedly, as your face came into his mind, hitting him with all kinds of emotions. Your petite hands were in his as the two of you walked together after school, the soft glow on your face from the warm sunlight and your hair flowing tenderly with the breeze.Â
"She was," he whispered. A slight curl on one side of his mouth appeared that was not unnoticed by Nana. She had been holding on to the hope that the both of you would make amends someday, and it warmed her heart that the time had finally come closer for it. She missed you a lot. You were like her granddaughter that she never had, not like her mischievous grandsons that gave her headaches. You brought a different kind of joy to her life, and when you told her that you had to leave, both of you were crying in each other's arms. She knew she did not have much time left in this world, and she hoped it wouldnât be too late to see you again.
-----
â July 2024 â
"You know the drill, right? Just interact with the kids. Watch how they play, give them some advice, and remember to smile. The cameras will follow you around during the shoot." The team's social media manager, Emma, briefed you again as you came into the facility centre to prepare yourself for the shoot.
Filming with kids has always been your favourite. It allows you to stay in touch with your roots and serves as a reminder that there are kids who look up to you, so you have to always set a good example for them.Â
"I heard that their parents are here too?" You looked at Emma for confirmation.
"Yes. They are sitting in the stands. It will be a surprise appearance for them as well. After the filming, you will take pictures with the players and their families. Got it?"
"Okay, got it."
You got mic'd up while the filming crew settled everything else. Once they were set, you moved quietly to the training field where the young academy players were having a small match amongst themselves. It stroked a sense of nostalgia in you, seeing them running and kicking with their little limbs. Your heart warmed with the memories of you being in a young girl's team, dreaming of being a soccer star.
You heard some murmuring when you walked past the stands where the parents were, but your focus was fixed on the young players. Walking faster as you neared the sideline, one of the girls spotted you and squealed, causing them to stop their actions.Â
You continued walking towards where the coaches were standing, trying to hide the excitement on your face.
Some of them gasped, covering their mouths, not believing that the first team player had come to watch them.Â
"Come on, girls! Keep playing!" You clapped your hands, signalling to them to continue playing.Â
They looked at each other with smiles still stuck on their faces as they slowly moved their bodies again.
You shook hands with the academy team coaches and manager, who were also glad to see you. They talked to you about the players and the drills they went through, so you got the gist of how they ran things. You did a quick scan of all the players, and one of them stood up to you. That player was Sarah. It had been a few weeks since you met her, and you thought about her more than you know. You were enamoured by her innocence that you don't experience in your daily adult life. Wearing the same hairstyle, the blurry mystery face you cannot put together to match her face appeared in your head.Â
Sarah was playing as the right winger. You were impressed with her movements, especially for someone that young. Both of her feet were well balanced; one leg was not significantly stronger than the other, which meant that she had more of an advantage in her dribbling skills. Her focus on the ball once she got the ball controlled was unwavering, and she was not afraid to take her chances at shooting. You saw the massive potential of a player in her and hoped to see her grow as time went by.
As the game continued, you tried your best to watch the other girls, but your eyes followed Sarah. Compared to the rest, she was significantly versatileâbeing able to defend as well as her attacking skills. Unbeknownst to you, she was slowly gaining your heart even though you had only met her once.
After the game ended, the girls sat together for debriefing; exhaustion was evident on their faces flushed, strands of hair sticking to their sweaty faces, and eyes fixed on the grass below them. The team's manager and coaches said a few words before letting you take the stage. When it was your turn, the girls turned their heads to you as if they forgot you were there momentarily. Having their full attention, you started talking.
"What do y'all feel about the game?" You asked them.Â
"Bad." One of the players in the front spoke up, and you later found out that her name was Ellie.Â
"Why do you feel that way?" You raised an eyebrow at her, not expecting the quick acknowledgement of your question.Â
"Because Sarah overtook me a few times, and that means I sucked at defending today." Her eyebrows furrowed as she explainedâdispleased with her own mistakes.Â
"We all make mistakes sometimes; of course, we feel disappointed when they happen. Even a professional playerâlike meâmakes them. But the mistake is what make us strive to be better. We reflect on it and improve from there." You explained to all of them.
"And the fact that you are aware of your own mistakes tells me that you are one step closer to being a better player than you were before." You smiled reassuringly to Ellie, liking her boldness in speaking her mind.Â
It's ironic that when you were around their age, you were very critical of your own performanceâbeating yourself up over something so small because you knew your father would never let it go. You never come around to look at things positively until you meet the other professional playersâwho became your good friendsâduring your career.Â
"Now, tell me what you did good in the game?" You squatted down to be at the same eye level as Ellie.Â
Ellie opened her mouth but closed it instantly, unable to think of an answer. Her eyes darting around, away from making eye contact with you.Â
"You've had a couple of good long passes to the forwards, and your tackling form is pretty great,"
"Really?" She said softlyânot believing what you said.Â
"Absolutely! Why would I lie?" Cocking your head to the side, with one brow raised.Â
Her cheeks raised slightly, tugging the corners of her mouth into a small smile that she tried to hide from you.Â
You spent another 20 minutes answering the girls' questionsâhow you first started soccer, how you recovered from your bad injury, and even what boots you wore for your games. You took a group photo together before they dispersed to their parents, waiting for you to take pictures with each family.Â
You were already halfway done with the team when you spotted Sarah among those in the queue, and you noticed two men standing by her, but it was a quick glance before you were able to take a long look at their faces. The line of players you were taking photos with kept moving slowly as you took your time to get to know each of them properly.Â
Once you said goodbye to one of the girls, you saw a small figure rushing towards you in the corner of your eyes. As soon as you turned back around, you felt a pair of arms encasing your waist. You looked down and recognised the same space buns that Sarah had when she was one of the child mascots. She looked up at you, chin resting on your stomach while she portrayed a big grin. You cannot help the adoration that came into view on your face while you hugged her back.Â
"Hi, lil angel!"Â
"You remember me!" She looked with a mix of surprise and joy on her face.
"How could I forget our lucky charm with this pretty face?" Sarah stared at you with her big, round eyes sparkling with so much admiration that you almost felt guilty for being the subject of that look.
Her grip on you loosened when she turned around, gesturing for-you assumed-her family members to come closer.
"Come and say hi!" She moved away from you to let the two men near you.
Maybe it's the athlete in you that made your eyes move towards their physique first. You noticed they were both almost the same height, taller than you by a couple of inches. Their toned muscles, which were on display for you, seemed to be earned from hard labour instead of the gym. Catching you, scanning their bodies, one of them cleared their throat, making you shift your focus towards him.Â
He looked way younger than youâclean-shaven with curly, medium-length hair, passing his ears. You sensed that he had an easygoing and friendly demeanour when he introduced himself.
"Hey, how r' ya?" He sounded nervous but still was able to confidently reach out to shake your hand, with an unexplainable look on his face.Â
You returned the handshake with, "Hi, nice to meet you." You cocked your head slightly to the side, sensing the weird awkwardness coming from him.Â
You pulled back and looked at him for a moment before glancing at the other man who was standing beside him. You had to do a double take when your gaze landed on that man for a few seconds longer. Your heart suddenly picked up its speed from the recognition. Unexpectedly, a face vaguely reminiscent of your time back in Austin was here.Â
Joel fucking Millerâthe reason for your happiness in Austin, but he was also the one that injected bitterness in your heart in the last few years in it.Â
His face was different than the one you tried to erase 12 years ago, to no avail; you didn't succeed. Time clearly had worn out his face a little bitâthe clean-shaven face back then had been filled with scruffy facial hair, creases on the forehead, and noticeable crow's feet by his eyes. Even so, it only enhanced his features to be more attractive than he already was before.Â
Joel could not maintain eye contact with you like he used to. You noticed his tensed jaw and darting eyes towards everywhere else except you. He seemed like he wanted to hide in a hole somewhere. Seeing him not in the slightest bit happy to see you again stung you a little. You could not blame him for how he was acting, knowing how bad things were left between you.Â
You had long moved past it after going to therapy. As time went by, you saw things from a different perspective, in a more mature way, to understand his position at the time. You took the fact that you won't see him again and did your own healing by trying to forgive him for his immaturity back in the day on your own terms since you were not able to talk openly with him.
Now, he was standing before you, and somehow, you felt relieved to see him after all those years. Â
"Do you recognise me?" The younger man asked you, giving an expectant smile as he waited for you.
You turned your head back to him, still speechless from seeing Joel. He could only be that one person.Â
"Tommy?" You asked with one brow raised at him.
"Oh! I thought you wouldn't remember my name!" His jaw dropped, and he slowly crept up to a broad smile, a result of the fact that you remembered his name. His hands were rested on his chest from the shock.
"Of course, I remember you. It just took me awhile to recognise you because you look different," you looked at him up and down. "Look at you! You're taller than me now." You gestured at him with your palms opened, waving your hands over his grown body.
"More handsome now, am I right?" He struck a pose, hands bending upwards to point at himself with both thumbs. He sneaked a wink at you, making you jog down memory lane, remembering how his brother winked at you during your younger days.Â
You huffed a laugh at his boldness, "I see that you never change." You smirked at Tommy, who had just shrugged his shoulders at your remark.
Your ears perked up when you heard Sarah giggling as she watched your interaction with Tommy. For a moment, you had totally forgotten where and what you were doing while talking with Tommy. You glanced at Sarah briefly before looking at Tommy again.
"She's your daughter?" You asked Tommy.
"Ew, no." Sarah scrunched her face in a disgusted way at Tommy. Tommy rolled his eyes at Sarah; you could tell they had a slight sibling-like relationship. From the realisation of their age, you knew that Sarah could not have been Tommy's daughter.Â
"This is my dad!" She told you proudly as she slid her hand into Joel's.Â
Your eyes slowly moved up to see Joel staring at you with an unreadable gaze. You used to be able to tell what he was thinking just by looking at him, but the time apart had faded your ability to do so.Â
You did not know that he had a daughter. You wouldn't have known because you had cut off contact with him and the people who had wronged you after you left. After a few years, when you had moved on with the past, you were tempted to know how he was doing, but you did not bother to do anything about it, afraid of what feelings might come to the surface.
You wondered who Sarah's mom was, and guessing her age, you assumed that Talia might have been the one. Talia was the cause of your nightmare in high school. Thinking about what she did always made your blood simmer with hatred. You could forgive Joel, but Talia was that mean bitch that would take you so much longer to make peace with. With Sarah coming around, you assumed that Joel must have made her his wife, and it almost made the food that was processed in your stomach come back up your throat.
"I-I didn't know that," you tried to hide your surprise but the way your voice strained at the start was obvious to anyone. Your eyes went back and forth between him and Sarah. Finally, you could see the unmistakable similarities between them as they stood side by side.Â
You squatted down in front of Sarah, gazing up at her with newfound adoration. "So you're a Miller, huh?" A soft smile on your face as you stated the information that you had just learned.
"Sarah Miller," she nodded her head.
"Well, I should have asked for your last name. You looked so familiar when I saw you that time," you tilted your head as you slowly traced her face with your eyes.
"I did?" She looked up at Joel for a few seconds, and you followed her gaze. Joel was standing still, eyes darting between you and Sarah.Â
"I'm way prettier, though." She blurted out after turning back to you.
You involuntarily snorted, hearing her comparison with Joel. "Of course you are," you beamed at her confidence which she definitely did not inherit from her dad, "but you both have the same distracting smile."Â
"What does that mean?" She furrowed her brows.
"It means that you have a beautiful smile, just like your dad when he was your age." You gently poked her cheeks with your index fingers, which made her smile.
Both of you were smiling to each other when Emma reminded you to quickly take the pictures. You stood up and held your hand out at Sarah, who gladly took it to follow you, standing in front of the camera.
"Okay, what serious pose do you wanna do?"Â
Sarah crossed her arms without hesitation and puffed out her chest as best she could. She lifted her chin up, pursing her lips with knitted brows to seem fierce. You smirked at her actions, finding her adorable, before striking the same pose beside her.Â
The second one was a fun pose. She had you piggyback her, and the two of you were laughing as the photographer caught the moment. Your eyes flicked at Joel and Tommy, who were looking on behind the photographer. Joel was staring at you with a forlorn look, which you did not miss before he tensed up when he caught you looking at him.Â
"Good. Now, with the family." The photographer said, turning to Joel and Tommy.
The Miller brothers stepped forward to stand beside you, one on each side. Sarah was standing in front of you with your hands on her shoulders. Your heart started to beat faster as Joel came near you. He put a certain distance between you both when he stood beside you.Â
"Closer, please." The photographer gestured with one hand at Joel and ordered him to stand closer towards you.Â
Joel reluctantly took a step closer, which resulted in his arm brushing against yours. That made you stand still as you felt tingles running up your arms to your neck. Sarah turned her head slightly from the instinctive tightening grip of your hands on her shoulders. You relaxed your hands in a flash when you realised that you could have hurt her.Â
"One, two, three!" The photographer raised his voice slightly, and you heard the camera clicking away. He stopped and lowered the camera, not satisfied with your expression.
"You gotta smile," He portrayed his own smile, looking at you and Joel.Â
You turned your head to glance at Joel, and you saw him looking at you from the corner of his eyes when he noticed your movement. In an instant, you looked back at the front to see that the photographer was ready to continue taking photos. This time, you smiled without fail.Â
Once it was done, Sarah turned around to say goodbye. You bent down slightly with open arms, and she gladly reached around you to snuggle against your chest. With warmth enveloping your heart, you closed your eyes and rested your chin on her head, taking in the sweet moment with her.
Tommy looked at both of you with eyes representing relief. He remembered you fondly because he regarded you as his older sister. You had come over to the house often to play with him and, oftentimes, look after him when Joel was not around. Unlike his older brother, you were gentle and kind to him. He was 11 when you left, and it broke his heart that his caring older sister was moving away. He blamed Joel for it for a while and showed resentment towards him. He heard rumours about what had happened from the kids in the neighbourhood who went to the same high school as you and Joel. He didn't know the truth of it all until he was grown enough to learn about the whole story from Joel. Â
Tommy took a peek at Joel, who was standing beside you. He could tell that Joel had missed you too, even though he had not said it out loud for the past 12 years. He did not have to because with one look in his eyes, Tommy could feel his longing. He knew that his brother still felt guilty about what had happened, but all that he wanted was that the both of you could make up for it because he missed his family before the emotional hurricane happened.Â
You cleared your throat from the awkwardness after Sarah held her dad's hand again.
"So, y'all heading straight home after this?" You tried to find the courage to look at Joel, who was already staring at you but failed to do so, finding comfort in Tommy instead.
"We're going to the hospital to visit Nana," Sarah blurted out which made you snapped your head towards her with a frown on your face.
"Sarahâ"Joel quickly
"Nana is in the hospital?" Your voice was high-pitched when you took in the new information. You were still frowning when you shifted your gaze to Joel.
"You don't need to worry about it." Joel tried to dismiss it, but you were obviously not satisfied with his answer.
"What happened to Nana?" You took a step closer to him, which caused him to instinctively move a step away from you.
"Nothing." He avoided looking at you and gripped Sarah's hand tighter, pulling her away to escape. You stood there, watching him leave.
Tommy hesitated to move as he witnessed what had just happened. He touched the side of your arms to lessen your worry. Then, reaching into his pocket, he took out a folded piece of paper and handed it to you.
"There's my number in there, so feel free to call anytime. You can ask me about anything, and I will try my best to answer it. I miss you, sis. It's great to see you again." Teary-eyed, Tommy opened his arms slightly, wanting to hug you after 12 long years.
You welcomed him by wrapping his neck with your arms, tip-toeing slightly from his height. His grip around you was tight as he swayed you from side to side.Â
"I miss you too, baby boy," you whispered in his ears, tears lingering on the edge of your eyes.
"I'm not a baby," he argued with an annoyed tone, just like when he was younger, fighting that he was just a boy and not a baby.
"You're still a baby to me." You pulled back with a tight-lipped smile, not wanting to cry, while you looked at his 24-year-old face.Â
Tommy let you go and returned to a mischievous look, "Call me, okay?" You nodded. "I'll see you around." He winked before jogging away to catch up with his brother and niece. Â

This was a new experience for you when it came to the two men that you loved.Â
Today was the day of their mediation to hopefully get things resolved without having to fully go to court. They were dressed from head to toe in their more formal attire with Eddieâs hair pulled back into a ponytail and Steveâs fluffy mane slicked back away from his face.Â
Originally they didnât want you to go but at the last minute the rockstar insisted stating that he didnât want to hide any of this from you like they had tried to before.
âLike we said, sweetheart, we told you everything but sheâs probably going to get a bit more specific about certain things⊠we never did the things she claimed but we also werenât exactly good men.â
When Gina and her lawyers came in they both straightened up immediately.Â
You couldnât deny she was a beautiful woman with her long brown hair and fit physique that squeezed a bit too perfectly in her short pink dress that cut off just above her knee. For some reason you were under the impression that she was closer to your age but now that you were able to see her face to face you realized she was closer to theirs. Her piercing blue eyes scanned the room till they landed on you sitting quietly in the back closer to their side.Â
As she grinned wide and rose to her feet so did Steve before both lawyers grabbed each personâs wrist and mumbled something while Gina smirked his way. Even after she took her seat again it took the mogul a few more moments before he finally did the same.Â
Someone you assumed was a judge or at least in charge started to speak and read out instruction for this particular review. The entire time he spoke, their ex watched them like a lion waiting for prey. She was playing a game she intended to win even if it meant hurting them in the process.Â
##############
A couple of days after the mediation, both men were barely in the apartment and when they were you didnât want to push them. Occasionally, your hand would tenderly run along Steveâs shoulders as he worked and in response he would grab your palm to kiss the back before letting you go to focus again. When you noticed Eddie smoking on the balcony in his sweats but no jacket, you would bring one out to him but as you turned to go back inside, he would wrap his arms around you, bringing your back to his chest as he held you tightly.Â
Tonight was an event they couldnât ignore, hardly covering their distain as their stylist and her team came over to dress them and you up for the evening.Â
Just as they had before when you stepped out of the bedroom, both men froze as their eyes took you in. Since this wasnât exactly an elegant affair, Stephanie had you in a red dress that clung to your curves, showing off your arms and chest a bit more than you were used to.Â
âWhat do you think?â, you ask as you smooth the material around your stomach. âIâve never worn something that showed off my upper half like this.â
âYou look absolutely gorgeous, sweetheart.â, Eddie exhaled breathlessly as he stepped forward to caress your cheek making your eyes flutter at the intoxicating cologne that surrounded him. âAre you comfortable?â
âYeah, baby. I justâŠis there a sweater or jacket, Steph?â
The ever gentleman he was, Steve started to remove his own suit jacket before the stylist stepped forward to hand you a matching shawl to wrap around your shoulders.Â
âThank you.â
The mogul softly smiled your way as he tilted down to kiss your forehead.Â
âYou look beautiful, honey. We need to get you a necklace or something that you can wear. Not that it matters right now, I mean you look breathtaking as is. I was justââ
âSteve!â, you giggle as his friend lightly shoves his arm. âI knew what you meant.â
Eddieâs eyes suddenly light up as he abruptly runs towards the hallway and turns into what was once his old bedroom but was now being used as a place for him to play and record his music. Beaming widely, he saunters back down the hallway with his hands behind his back.Â
âClose your eyes.â Biting your lip, you do as he says, smiling just as widely as he had when you felt something cool and flat touch your chest. âI wore this in high school but obviously my jewelry game has gotten WAY better.â, he chuckles and backs away from you.Â
Glancing down, you fingers hold up the red guitar pick that was attached to the chain now clasped around your neck.Â
âWeâll obviously buy you some more prettier things butââ
Your lips cut him off before you tilt back and wipe away the lipstick that remained.Â
âThis is perfect, Eddie, thank you.â
***
You werenât sure what to expect this time around now that people knew you were with them but unless they said any different, you were going to do as you did before. This was their territory not yours and they knew how to navigate the sea of fame better then you ever could.Â
âDid you want to take pictures or would you rather wait inside?â, Steve asked as they waited in line to enter the building.Â
âYouâd take pictures with me?â
His eyes blinked as if you asked one of the most complicated questions he had ever heard.Â
âOf course, baby, but only if youâre comfortable.â
âIâŠI justâŠI donât know what to doâŠâ
âYou just stand there and look beautiful, princess.â, Eddie grinned.
âI donât want to embarrass you or anything.â
âWhat makes you think you would?â When you shrugged, the mogul saw the confidence they loved so much about you slowly receding from your eyes for fear of ruining something you perceived as important to them. His large palms cup your cheeks as he brings your lips to his and the sound of cameras clicking fill your ears. âAll that matters to me is you.â
Photographers scream their names as cameras continue to go off but neither of them moves except for Eddie who leans down to kiss you as well.Â
âWe can just walk right passed and go inside. You hold all the power here, baby girl, but no matter what we arenât doing thisâŠâ, he gestures towards the reporters. ââŠwithout you.â
Nodding, you take each boyâs hand and allow them to take over as they stand beside you to pose for photos. Occasionally the rockstar whispered something in your ear to make you laugh that helps to calm your nerves as your smile stretches wide across your face.Â
âMr. Munson, how are you feeling today? You look so happy!â, an interviewer asked enthusiastically.Â
âThank you. I am, I am. Iâm here with my best friend and this beautiful angel, I meanâŠâ, he chuckles as you blush. ââŠIâm an incredibly lucky man.â
âHow are you tonight, Y/N? You do look exceptionally beautiful! Letâs get a double take here.â, she encourages as you step back and Steve spins you 360 to show off your dress.Â
âThank you so much. Iâm good. Iâm nervous. Youâre my first ever interview so⊠you look gorgeous to. I love your earrings.â, you praise as she playfully shows them off for the camera behind her.Â
âOh, youâre so sweet. I look forward to many more interactions in the future.â
While you three step closer to the door something catches the mogulâs eye that has him tugging at his friendâs sleeve before both men pull you inside.Â
âEverything okay?â
âYeah, baby, you did amazing.â, he whispers as he leans down to kiss your cheek.Â
***
Something in their mood changed as soon as you guys were finally in the building and sitting at the table as drinks were being served. On the walk there, they didnât let you drift too far, sticking by your side as they or you spoke to people around you.Â
While you were eating, they seemed to always have some part of their body on yours and seemed to be knocking back the champagne a bit more than you were.Â
âIâm going to run to the bathroom real fast.â, you whisper as you get to your feet.Â
âIâll walk youââ
âEddie, baby.â, you say as you place your palm on his shoulder to keep him seated. âI donât need an escort to pee, okay? Iâll be right back, I promise.â
He didnât seem at all calmed especially when you felt both their eyes watch you as disappeared down the hallway. After finishing your needs and adjusting the rockstarâs necklace around you, you give yourself one final pep talk as you head back into the fray.Â
âOw!â
âShit! Oh my god. I am so sorry! Are you alright?â, you ask frantically as you try to consol the young man you accidently hit with the bathroom door. âGod, Iâm such mess.â
âAh, no, no worries. Iâm alright. Got me pretty good there though.â, the boy chuckled as his palm rubbed his nose before taking note of your worried demeanor. âItâs ok. Iâm seriously alright, see? Iâd have lost my contract a long time ago if I couldnât take a few hits. Iâm Roman, Roman Hart.â, he grins as he extends his palm for you to shake.Â
As you provide him with your name the man laughs a bit harder.Â
âYou have no idea who I am, do you?â
âNo? Should I?â
âIâm a quarterback for the New York football team.â
âAh! Ok, yeah, still have no idea who you are.â, you giggle. âIâm not really into sports and the few players I do recognize are from my hometown. Well, it was nice meeting you and again, Iâm so sorry for hurting you.â
âNo worries.â, he grins. âMay I walk you back to your seat? Maybe, we can get to know each other a bit more and you can tell me your favorite guitarist.â
As he reaches out to delicately touch the guitar pick on your chest, something in his tone rubs you the wrong way as your smile falls.
âIâm ok, Mr. Hart, but I appreciate the offer.âÂ
Swiftly turning to leave him behind, you bump into a broad chest thatâs heavy breathing with anger and glance up to see Steveâs furious features.Â
âWhat are you doing, Roman?â
âHey, Steve. How areââ
âWHAT are you doing!?â
âJesus, old man. Take a breath.â At the manâs dismissive tone, the mogul started to step forward but you hastily put yourself between them as you place your palm on his chest. âThis beautiful woman here hit me in the face with the door on accident and we were just talking.â
âBullshit. Did she put you up to this?â
âWell, someoneâs paranoid.â
âAnd someoneâs a little bitch.â, Eddie growled the quarterbackâs way as he came up behind his friend. âDidnât think you were manipulatable enough to do Ginaâs bidding.â
At his words, Romanâs eyes squint as he glares at the rockstar.Â
âYouâre the football player she cheated on them with.â, you breathe as your own eyes close in frustration.Â
âIs it cheating when sheâs already fucking two guys? I guess not since she said you two could barely get it up for her let alone satisfy her.â, he sassed, this time causing Eddie to step towards him.Â
âNo.â, you scolded in your teacher tone hoping that was stronger than your arms because you were struggling to hold both men in their place. âGo away. Thereâs nothing I want from her or you.â
âSheâs been wanting to talk to you.â
âThen she needs to stop sending men to do her bidding and come talk to me but again thereâs nothing I want or need from her.â
âGina said she wanted to talk to you the other day butâŠâ, he pauses as he glances at Steve.Â
âCome on, guys, letâs go home.â, you murmur as try to push them back but they donât budge. âPlease⊠heâs trying to get a rise out of you. Donât let him win.â
It takes a few seconds before the mogul finally turns around and begins to stomp down the hallway as the rockstar grips your hand.Â
âIf you come near her again, it wonât be a door that hits you in the face.â, Eddie threatened as Roman grinned and winked your way.
#################
âCan we talk?â, you ask as Eddie veers towards the kitchen to grab a beer and Steve starts to take off his suit jacket as he heads towards the bedroom.Â
âWeâll talk about it later, Y/N.â
âI want to talk about it now, Steven.â At your words, he heavily exhales as he turns to face you. âIâve given you two space these past few days but this was a big deal. She overstepped a boundary by doing this.â
âOk, honey. Agreed. Now what?â, he responded sarcastically as he shrugged.Â
You blinked as your gaze shifted between both men as Eddie came up to your side.
âYou donât have to hold it in. Itâs ok to be angry. I told you if you needed to throw a tantrum or vent, you could. I know the word.â
âWeâre not angry, Y/N.â, the rockstar sighs and your jaw clenches.Â
âReally? Youâre not angry at all that she sent the man she cheated on you with to come speak with me? The same man she was caught fucking in a car by paparazzi because she was so brazen about her infidelity yet hid her relationship with you both?â As you spoke, Eddieâs fist clenched tighter around the glass in his hand while Steve placed his hands on his hips as they glared your way.
âYou arenât angry that he said you two could never satisfy her even though you went out of your way to make her happy? Or the fact that at that hearing the other day, she had the audacity to giggle her way through her testimony while saying things like how she never imagined you, Eddie, could hurt her because of how you talked about your mom or, Steve, how you manipulated her the way your dad did by giving his side pieces better jewelry and things than you ever gave her.â
Slowly sauntering forward, you place yourself directly in front Eddieâs chest as his eyes blaze down into yours.Â
âYou arenât angry that Roman touched my skin with his fingers; my body that belongs to you two and only you?â, you murmur as your palm rubs his chest through the opening in his button up shirt before backing away to find home in front of Steve. âItâs not only the fact that he touched me but that he wasnât afraid to do it. He thought heâd get away with it no matter what because youâre âold menâ who canât satisfy a womanâŠespecially a young woman like me.
The tip of your nose caressed his as your words landed breathily against his lips.Â
âHm. Well, I guess youâre more mature than me because Iâm furious I canât make her stop hurting you the way she does.â
Flashing them a soft smile, you start to walk away but Steveâs fingers around your wrist give you pause as he pulls you back to crash his mouth to your own. Thereâs a fever behind it that has you moaning as Eddie comes up behind you to unzip your dress and tug it down your frame.Â
You tear at the mogulâs shirt and he pants as you sloppily kiss down his chest. Tilting down to pick you up, he throws you over his shoulder and you watch as the rockstar removes pieces of his own suit as he trails behind, tossing them to the floor without a care.
After throwing you onto the bed, you watched as Steve unbuckled his belt and handed it to his friend who quickly bound your wrists above your head as the other manâs face fell in-between your legs.Â
âFuck, Daddy.â, you whined as you pulled on your restraints, desperate to run your fingers through his hair while his tongue and mouth devoured your pussy like a man possessed. Eddie leaned over your body to hand his friend something but it didnât take you long to realize what it was as the sound of buzzing filled the room and vibration from the wand was pressed against your clit. âOhâŠmyâŠâ
âAtta girl.â, the rockstar cooed as he took hold of your ankles to help keep your legs open and in the air. âWe know how to take care of you, sweetheart.â
âMhmm.â, you groaned as Steveâs tongue moved faster in and out of your entrance.Â
âDo you think weâre too old, little girl?â
âNo, Daddy. Iâve neverâmmphâIâve never thought that.â
âDo you think someone your own age can fuck you better than us?!â
âNever, Daddy. No oneâfuck Iâm gonna cumâno one fucks me like you two.â
Your legs tremble in Eddieâs grasp as the coil snaps and the mogul presses the wand harder against your clit to elongate your high. As your legs fall to the bed, Steve unbuttons his slacks and frees his cock, leaning down to spit directly into your hole before guiding himself inside you.
âSay that again.â, he rumbles.
âNo one fucks me like you two, Daddy.â
âAnd who does this pussy belong to?â
âYou two, Daddy.â
His large palm wraps around your throat, squeezing lightly as his hips roughly snap, punching a sharp grunt from your lips.Â
âWHO does this pussy belong to?â
âAh! Steve and Eddie!â
âThatâs right. Say it again.â, Steve growls as his rhythm quickens.
âM-My pussy belongs toâfuckâSteve Harrington and E-Eddie Munson!â
The mogul fell fully on top of you as he pounded his cock deep inside you with a rough abandon that had you wincing a couple of times.
âYou have no idea how much I wanted to fucking kill him when I saw his hands on you. If youâoh my godâif you hadnât stopped me Iâd have put him the fucking hospital. No one fucking touches you like that except us.â
âNoâŠoneâŠbabyâŠFuck meâŠharder, Steve. I canâŠhandle it.â
Pushing up on his knees, he took hold of the wand again and pressed it to your puffy nub, smirking a bit to himself as he watched you squirm.Â
Ringed fingers gripped your hair and as you turned your head you were met with Eddieâs cock. Opening wide, you allowed him entry between your parted lips and he was anything but gentle as he thrust his hips.Â
You whimpered around him and they knew you were close to the edge proving them right when your pussy clenched around Steveâs dick like a vice especially when the rockstar held you still to choke around his length.Â
You panted when he finally pulled away and the mogul grunted loudly as he slammed his release aggressively into your cunt till he was empty.Â
They didnât allow you a second to breathe as Eddie seamlessly flipped you over and placed his entire frame on top of your back before he shifted his waist a bit and you felt his cock effortlessly slid into your aching pussy.Â
With one hand around your neck and the other underneath you gripping one of your breasts, he remained close to you, absorbing you with his weight as he roughly rolled his hips.Â
âFuck, baby, you feel so good. Y-Youâd never hurt us like that would you? Youâd never cheat on--â
âN-Never, Daddy. MmmâI love you so muchâŠboth of you. H-H-Harder, Eddie. Use me.â
The manâs hold on you tightens as he honors your statement and pumps into you so hard the bed underneath you shakes.Â
Your orgasm crashes like a rouge wave and you scream their title before youâre abruptly rolled onto your back as the rockstar grunts and climbs up your body to shove his cock down your throat. Your eyes squeeze shut as you allow him to use your mouth till you feel his release hit your tongue and you swallow every drop.Â
As soon as he pulls himself back, Eddie lays on you again resting his head on your chest waiting patiently for you to play with his hair like you always do but the lightbulb doesnât go off till he finally glances up to see if youâre ok.Â
âShit! Y/N, Iâm so fucking sorry. Why didnât you say anything?!â, he panics as he reaches up to quickly remove the belt from your wrists and carefully bring your arms down to your sides.Â
âMay I have some water, please?â
Hearing the hoarseness of your voice, Steve doesnât hesitate as he powerwalks to their kitchen and comes back with a cold glass of water. Amber and chocolate eyes scan you over with concern as you chug back the liquid and flinch as it slides down your throat.Â
âIâm going to make her bath.â, the mogul announces as he turns to head towards the bathroom.Â
Eddieâs fingers brush some of your hair away from your face and in return you fall into his equally sweaty chest.Â
âI love you, Eddie.â, you whisper.
âI love you to, princess. Come on. Letâs take a nice relaxing bath.â
Noticing you struggling to move, the man lifts you in his arms and carries you the rest of the way. While the rockstar climbs into the water with you, Steve sits on the edge face you both as he leans against the wall, studying you as his friend washes your skin.Â
When Eddie starts to clean between your legs, you wince causing Steveâs face to twitch with worry.Â
âI know, baby girl, I know. Iâm almost done.â, the rockstar tries to comfort as you began to softly cry.Â
When your eyes lock with the other boyâs, you gently smile and he does the same.Â
âI love you, Steve.â
âI love you to, honey.â, he murmurs as he leans forward to grab your hand so he can kiss the back of it. âI, um, I hope you know we arenât angry with you or anything. We know thatâŠyou werenâtâŠflirting orââ
âI know. As soon as he touched meâŠI knew something was off. I swear I didnât recognize himââ
âWe know.â, Eddie soothes as he kisses your cheek. âIt did trigger something though. Memories of her being more than polite just to get a rise out of us. Add in what you mentionedâŠâ
âThat he had the audacity to touch you and talk to you because he thought we wouldnât do anything.â, Steve clarified when your eyebrows furrowed. âBecause, ya know, weâre grandpas and all that.â
A large grin stretches across both their faces at the sound of your laugh as it echoes through the bathroom.Â
âHe said that was the reason but you know thatâs not why right? Itâs not your age, its that she sees you as weak. Thatâs what this whole display is about. Thatâs why she wants to talk to me. She knows I donât see you that way and she genuinely believes she can change my mind like she did with everyone else in her circle.â
âListen to baby girl over here talking like a lawyer. Do you want to take over our case because you absolutely can.â, Eddie jokes as he pulls you back into a tight hug.Â
Steveâs face slowly changes as his eyes flood with concern before his fingers extend to lightly trace the skin along your neck.Â
âFuck. Fuck, fuck, fuck.â, the mogul exhales as he rises to his feet. âEd, go ahead, get her dressed, and when youâre done bring her to the kitchen.â
âAy yi, Captain.â, the rockstar sasses as he climbs out of the water and grabs a towel. âAgain, boy talking to me like heâs my Daddy.â
When his eyes linger where Steveâs had, you shifted your gaze towards the mirror to find growing bruises the size of fingerprints along your throat.Â
âItâs ok, Eddie, I promise.â, you coo as you reach up to caress his cheek. âI would have used the safe word if you both were hurting me.â
With a tight smile, he nods, gently drying you before throwing some pajamas over your body and carrying you into the kitchen to place you on the counter.Â
âOk, honey, this is going to be cold.â, Steve announces as he rubs his hands together and rubs them along your skin. Your squeak at the cold gel makes him chuckle as he continues his task. âThis stuff is pretty good. It should lessenâ that colorization before work on Monday.â
âHey.â, you call softly as you grip his chin and tilt his eyes up to meet yours. âNot the first time your fingers have left bruises on my body. In a good way of course.â
His movements slow for just a moment before he sighs and continues.Â
âThis is different.â
âHow?â
âItâs hard to explain.â
âTry.â
âWe donât actively want to hurt you, sweetheart.â, Eddie answers for him. âYou said we could use you toâŠthrow a tantrum as you call it butâŠâ
âRemember last time, when you got scared that you triggered something by being a brat?â You nod at Steveâs question. âSame thing more or less. SheâŠbrings out the worst in us.â
âYou keep saying that but I just donât see it. I really donât, Steve.â
The rockstar hopped up beside you and handed you a cup of warm tea eliciting a cute little sigh that makes them smile as the liquid slides down your throat.Â
âYouâve never pushed.â Blinking at Eddieâs statement, he exhaled as he petted your head. âKind of like what Roman did, she would dangle men in front of us till we snapped. We would scream, yell, shout but it never got physical until we were playing. We made sure she reiterated she knew the word but she never used it. SheâŠfuckâŠwe did drugs together once. She kept pushing and pushing until one bad night I agreed. It was the one and only time I did blow and she held it over my head forever.â
âShe would call him names and imply he was angry for something SHE did because he was stoned which he wasnât.â
âIâŠit reminded me of my dad and I knew if Wayne found out he would be so disappointed.â As the rockstars head hung, you moved his hair behind his ear and tenderly kissed his cheek.
âSometimes, Y/N, I would be so wasted from a party the three of us went to that when we were intimateâŠthere were times I felt like I wasnât in controlâŠShe would egg me on talking about how pathetic I was and I would feel my grip tightenâŠâ As he spoke, Steveâs eyes flicked to your throat. âThere were timesâŠI wanted to hurt her the way she hurt meâŠâ
Extending your legs, you wrapped them around his waist bringing him to you so you could hug them both tightly.
âI know youâve been through a lot with her and arenât even close to being done but please donât hold it in. Talk to me or hell if you canât find the words then use me. I know Iâm safe with you.â
âPfft, you canât just say shit like that and not expect us to swoon, princess.â, Eddie teases as he lays his head on your shoulder and blinks his eyes obnoxiously.
âWhat if we were done. With the case.â, Steve interjects.
âWhat do you mean?â
âI meanâŠwhat if we paid what sheâs asking for?â
âWhy the fuck would you do that?â, you growl a bit sharply making them both chuckle as the mogul cups your cheeks to bring your forehead to his lips.Â
âBecause, baby girl, if we did that then everything would end now and we can move on with our livesâŠbe happy just the three of us.â
Sighing, you jump down from the counter, regretting your decision as your core throbs at the soreness. They watch you scoot to the sofa before following, Steve placing himself on his knees in front of you as Eddie sits beside you holding your tea and carefully putting an ice pack between your legs.Â
âThank you.â, you murmur as he lays his arm behind your head. âSteven, if you think this will stop her then you arenât as smart as I thought you were. If you give in, sheâll just keep coming at you guys asking for more and more. It may not be now but itâs not the money sheâs after. She likes toying with you and when she realizes she canât change my mind sheâll probably do the same with me to.â
âOver my dead body.â, the mogul grumbles as you smirk.Â
âYou both have to be smart about this. Donât let her win.â
âWhat do you think we should do, baby?â, Eddie asks as his fingers begin to play with your hair.
################
Gina saunters into Steveâs empty building with a giddy sense of pride. When the mogul emailed her that God awful formal statement asking her to meet them in his office she literally danced around her (Romanâs) massive bedroom as she began getting ready.Â
She knew sending the quarterback would rattle their cage. Eddie was the easiest one to shake but Steve was the most fun to make jealous. Neither boy was the possessive type but the mogul held in his emotions more than his friend and watching him break was justâŠso much fun.
When he stood up to keep her from talking to you, she knew exactly what she needed to do. You meant nothing to her. Whether she could get you on her side or not didnât matter to her one bit but if she could convince you in someway to leave themâŠÂ
The thought of them broken hearted as they crawled back to her drove her insane. One way or another sheâd get the money she was owed but to watch them grumble after abandoning her? Well, that was just a bonus.
âYou know, boys, we could have done this at my place.â
âLast we checked; you donât have one.â
At the sound of your voice, her head shot up to take in the setting before her.Â
Instead of Steve sitting at his desk, you were in his large office chair while both men were seated off to the side on his couch he kept by the wall. While they were dressed a bit more casually, you were in a red, long sleeve velvet dress that had a belt around your hips accentuating your curves. Your hair was pulled up and out of your face, displaying the guitar pick necklace Eddie had once told her was his favorite.
As you stood up and came around the desk, your red heels Steve bought you clacked across the floor.Â
Her startled eyes scanned you over constantly before she took a step backward causing a smirk to flicker across your lips.Â
âWell Gina, you wanted to talk to me so here I am. Letâs talk.â

WIP TUESDAY - Sugar Daddy Headcanons with Shanks and Garp
Saw Schoute's wonderful art WIP and writing and wanted to join the fun! Have some ridiculous Blorbos as Sugar Daddies headcanons that have been on my backburner LOL I've got Shanks and Garp ready for y'all đ«Ą They're pretty much done, I moreso have to fill out everyone else on the list đ€Ą No warnings really! Just some allusions to spice but nothing explicit. Lots of silliness. I believe they're gender neutral but I'm going to tag as afab just in case because I fear it may be in the subtext since that's the perspective I wrote it from and the one people generally expect for sugar babies. Might be fun to subvert sometime by writing them with explicitly amab sugar babies. I will Ponder lol I'd also love to see what everyone is working on so please take this as a sign to post something of your own!!
The song I blame for everything (I love u Thot Squad):
âThis fine old man, he played three
He can knickknack this coochie
With an Amex black card, get a girl a Benz
Reset and do it againâ
Word Count: Shanks ~750, Garp ~400 (sorry about the favoritism Vice Admiral đŹ)
Shanks
shanks absolutely pursued this type of relationship with you
Your pretty face and open smile snagged his attention but the way you easily met and fed his energy had him at you like a dog with a bone
Heâs no stranger to helping people laugh their way into his bed, but the journey with you felt different. He took extra time simply because each moment with you was too good to keep from savoring
You didnât hide your attraction at any point but he did appreciate that you would try and prod back at him in good humor to test his will and want
You found he had both in excessive abundance
It felt nice to have someone so attractive, established, feared, and adored seek your company and watch him become more interested with each minute he got of you. It also felt nice to see that while he certainly had an abundance of confidence he held no arrogance with you - he played no games in making you question his interest or to assert his importance to you. He treated you as a person (one he mainly wanted to turn to his bedroom tenant but still-) and it made him feel more like a man than a myth for you both too
And holy hell did you like that man - he made you laugh even if at his own expense, he impressed you when heâd let some of his cunning slip through the jovial pirate shtick, he kept your interest with how he could entertain any topic you brought forward, he made you feel beautiful with the way his eyes and hands soaked you in, and he made you feel wanted with the way he treated everything about you with genuine interest.Â
The only thing that made it better is how he made sure you wanted for nothing. The first night it was making sure you didnât pay a cent for anything, you always had food and drink right before you realized you wanted it, his coat found your shoulders the moment you felt a chill, you found yourself in fresh air right when the heat and the noise of the bar became too much.Â
After that it was an endless stream of trinkets, from priceless to silly but sentimental, all coming with letters that had you laughing, blushing, and swooning.
Every time heâd visit you (and it was at first as often as he thought he could manage but that managed to get even sooner and sooner because of his need for you) youâd indulge in each other like it was the first and last time
He stopped wanting anyone else - there were enough people across the seas he had to apologize to after explaining why heâd gasped the wrong name and they were never right to scratch the new insatiable itch he had anyway
When it dawned on him how much you had him wrapped around your finger, not just physically and financially but also mentally, emotionally, and heâs pretty sure even spiritually, he may have had a crisis (the crew was very torn between amusement and true wory watching it unfold, especially when the usual rum and patented Beckman Shoulder Pat with Nod didn't ease his turmoil)
It wasn't because he didnât want to love you, but he truly never thought heâd ever find someone he wanted and needed the way he does you. It was such a foreign concept to him that he felt like the world had tilted and left everything slightly unfamiliar. Especially coming from a relationship he stapled together with riches. Sure, there was also joy, camaraderie, and intimacy holding it together, but he found it harder to trust that someone such as you wouldn't find someone younger and more present to belong to than to trust that you could need him to sustain a lifestyle of ease and abundance.
If he couldn't be sure you'd want him, he'd try and find solace in you needing him, even if it was only for what he could afford you
When he finally told Beckman of his plight, he was slightly offended by the âit took you this long to figure it out?â
Heâs currently trying to figure out how to convince you to live on his ship with him. He needed to let you know youâd be safe regardless of your experience level with the seas or battle.Â
Heâd bring the world to its knees if anything touched a hair on your head
Luckily for him, you knew. Anyone with eyes would from the way he smiles at you.
Garp
Garp was decidedly not in your plans. Yes, you wanted someone older, someone with wealth, someone with influence, someone who would take care of you, but you thought Gilfs were an urban legend told to see what face it would get out of freshies
Youâre not complaining tho
He has certainly convinced you that the rarity of his kind just pointed to what a prized role it was to shack up with one
He was rough around the edges to be sure - brash and loud and stubborn - but he used all those traits to get you both exactly what you wanted
All your needs were met without you having to even think of them anymore (you were surprised that needs in the bedroom were included in that, but you supposed you shouldnât have underestimated a man who could still punch apart battle ships, nor one with such a lust for eating)
Neither of you had any illusions of sweeping romance
You were more than happy with the care and respect that built between the two of you in your roles, growing with each act of service to each other, each piece of comfort, each unintended moment of vulnerability
Donât get me wrong, the vulnerability ainât common; most of your time is this man having fun watching you light up when he took you out and tossed his money around for you before taking you home to have multiple courses of dessert
Youâll never get over his gruff voice and curling accent - they helped your brain turn to mush while he coaxed and praised you through happily giving him everything he wants as a thank you for all his care
That voice along with all that burliness and age, which you thought wouldâve been a turn off not on, ended up making you feel small yet so protected
Garp didnât think heâd enter a relationship like this that went on so long and so easily but any reservation or second guessing was lost the moment he saw you and everything just felt natural
Tho heâd still make jokes that always make you groan about how you keep him young better than his troublesome recruits (that he is stuck between wanting to parade you around to see their jaws drop and wanting to keep you hidden away from any young bucks who may try to get your attention before heâs ready to let you go)
Thank you for reading đđ€đ€

â casual - cbg
synopsis -> was everything casual? or something more?
-> beomgyu x afab!reader
-> friends to lovers?.. "more than friends less than lovers." angst, fluff, suggestive
-> warnings! situationship typa problems :( , self-harm, implications of self isolation, beomgyu can be an ass if you think about it.
-> note! this has been on my mind for a while now, sooo as a way to comeback to tumblr, i'm writing this :D BUT IM BACCKKKK!! i actually have 1 paper left but it's fairly easy to score soo i have a LOTT of time to write now!! also i'm really rusty right now SO IM SORRY FOR ANY MISTAKES đđđ
was it casual now?
beomgyu was confusing, so confusing. one second heâs all over you and affectionate, the next heâs just friendly and nice. youâve always tried to let it slide but it has been eating you whole from the inside, no âplatonicâ friend would do this, what the hell does he want from you. a relationship? a regular friendship? you canât even answer it, not even your mutual friends can answer that question. youâve constantly been caught in the pretense of a friendship or something deeper, you definitely wanted the latter.
beomgyu has always been close to you, you met him in middle school, at the playground, where he invited you to play a lame game of âfreeze tagâ with a bunch of his friends. fortunately, or unforturnately, the friendship stayed throughout the years of ups and downs, but now you are stuck with the constant thought of, âis this something friends normally do with each other?â. how can it be casual when you know how soft his lips were against your skin, how he tasted like, how his body felt like against yours? these questions were left unanswered.
was it casual when you kissed all my scars and told me that there was more of me to love?
highschool was a rough time for you, having to balance studies, co-curriculars and your social life was not easy. you often found yourself mentally drained, and always out of it. beomgyu noticed all of these signs, yet you wouldnât tell him anything, which eventually upset him. what was so secretive to the point you had to hide it from him. your best friend.
beomgyu needed to know, he didnât want you to suffer alone, he wanted to be your light, your pillar of support. he went over to your house one day, just to chill. as soon as you opened the door, he noticed how detached you seemed, he could see it in your eyes even if you looked perfectly normal. he shut the door behind him, following you up to your room after greeting your parents. when he entered your room, he was shocked to see how messy it looked, which was unlike you at all.
âsorry for the mess, i didnât have time to clean up at all..â you mumbled a quiet apology, sitting on your bed, looking up at him as he stood there.
âno, itâs alright.â beomgyu shook his head, making his way to your bed, sitting beside you. his eyes scanned your figure, before falling onto your arms. there were scars, scratches? no. he knew it wasnât that, no cat would scratch a person that many times at the same spot. beomgyuâs eyebrows furrowed, how did he not notice? was he blind?
âyn. let me see your arm.â beomgyu asked, his voice sounded firm and worried. you started to panic, you forgot to cover them up before he came.
âitâs nothing beomgyu..â you denied it, unable to make eye contact with him, the floor of your room suddenly being the most interesting thing youâve ever chanced upon.
âiâm not dumb yn.â youâve never heard him this serious before, you reluctantly extended your arm to his direction, letting him inspect it. beomgyu winced at the sight, some were fresh, some were old and recovering. he shifted closer to you, his hands intertwining with yours.
âplease.. tell me everything, all your worries and concerns, i donât want you to suffer in silence anymore yn, youâre very dear to me.â beomgyuâs thumb brushed against your knuckles as if reassuring you that everything is going to be alright. your breath hitched, words stuck in your throat as yout lips quivered slightly. beomgyu noticed this, pulling you close and hugging you. his tight embrace triggered something in your head since you started to bawl your eyes out, letting out everything at once.
beomgyu listened intently, his chin rested on top of your head as he rubbed your back consolingly. he didn't care if you stained his shirt with your tears and snot, he just wanted you to be okay, to find solace in his presence.
after a while, you finally calmed down, your breathing becoming more steady. beomgyu lifted you up from his chest slightly, looking at your red, puffy eyes and pouty lips. his thumb carressed your cheek, wiping away the stray tear that fell from your eye. beomgyu's hand fell from your cheek to your arm, rubbing it.
"you're so strong, i'm proud of you for coping this much.." his words were genuine, so.. comforting. he took your arms, leaving chaste kisses on your scars. at this point, you felt as though the words 'let me kiss your pains away' had come to life. your heart began to race at the sheer feeling of his lips against yours.
"there's more of you to love, so please don't look down on yourself like that again. if you ever feel like your world is crashing, come to me, i'll always be here for you yn." beomgyu mumbled in between his kisses on your arm, his words providing you with perfect reassurance.
the words, "yeah.. i will." was all that you could utter out. beomgyu smiled against your skin, pulling away as he brought you closer to him again, leaving a kiss on the top of your head.
"that's my girl."
was it casual when we went stargazing and you told me that my eyes reminded you of the galaxy?
beomgyu knew you loved space, you've always had a fixation on them, whether it's about meteor showers or the stars beyond, you'd always talk about them. thus, on one random day, he brought you out to a secluded field, away from the chaos in the city.
"why are we here?" you asked beomgyu, following him closely through the grassy field. beomgyu smiled at you.
"stargazing, you told me you've always wanted to do it, so i decided to do my research." beomgyu said, his eyes looking up at the sky, "saw that this place was perfect for stargazing, plus it's close to our neighbourhood, so why not."
you felt your heart skip a beat, he actually listened to your constant whining about wanting to go stargazing but not having anyone to go with. you allowed beomgyu to drag you to the perfect spot, in the middle of the field, to just sit and stare at the stars. the two of you talked as per usual, ranging from harmless bickering to deep talks. your heart swelled in contentment, continuing to watch the stars shine back at you.
little did you know, while you were rambling, beomgyu would take his gaze away from the night sky and look at you, admiring the way your eyes would light up everytime you talked about something you liked.
"y'know, your eyes remind me of the galaxy." beomgyu suddenly muttered out, your eyes widened, along with his. he could feel his ears growing warmer with each passing second.
"huh?" you looked at him, still in disbelief.
"i meant what i said.." beomgyu sheepishly admitted glancing back at you, his eyes softening at the way you looked at him. he smiled to himself, before looking back at the pretty night sky.
"yeah i definitely meant that.."
was it casual when you kissed every inch of my body, comparing me to the stardust i was made of?
"do you trust me?" beomgyu whispered, his eyes softening at the way you looked at him. you gave him a quick nod, giving him some sort of approval.
he looks at you with affection and tenderness, each glance warming you to your core. his hand reaches out, fingertips grazing along your jawline. his gaze dips down to your lips, closing off the distance between the two of you. as his lips finally met yours, the kiss was slow, gentle, filled with unspoken emotions, his hands cupping your face carefully as if you were glass. beomgyu was savouring every moment of this, the world around him disappearing.
he pulled away, just to look at your flustered face and to catch his breath. you looked ethereal in his eyes, from the way your lips were swollen from the kiss to how red the apple of your cheeks were. without saying anything, he pulled you in for more. his tongue pushing past your parting lips, exploring your mouth. he pushed you slightly, making you lean on the headrest of your bed.
beomgyu continued on, leaving opened-mouth kisses along your jawline, moving down to your neck and collarbone.
"you're perfect.. so pretty." he mumbled against your skin, his hands intertwining with yours. he lifted his head to look at you, smiling at you fondly, he added on, "you're like stardust, so quiet yet filled with depth and light.."
"since when were you so poetic." you joked, looking straight into his eyes, it was corny, but it made your heart race. beomgyu chuckled, shaking his head.
"not sure, it just comes to mind when i'm with you." he shrugged, his lips meeting your forehead, placing a gentle kiss. your eyes roamed his face, scanning it for no particular reason, you words coming out without even thinking.
"what are we?" your voice was soft, barely a whisper. beomgyu looked at you, raising an eyebrow, "friends. are we not?" your throat went dry at his non-chalant response, fuck you hated it. you were disappointed, at him and at yourself, how could he do all this without any attachment? and why did you wish for so much?
"right.." you mumbled under your breath, letting him kiss you again.
is it casual now?
now that you're older, you noticed how beomgyu runs around, talking to other girls, not bothering about your feelings and the relationship between the both of you. you were pissed, he still had the decency to kiss you behind closed doors, but act differently around you infront of others.
he was in your dorm, laying down beside you, his arms wrapped around your waist loosely, giving you light pecks on your lips. however, you stopped him.
"beomgyu, we can't keep doing this." you pushed him off, scanning his face for any reaction. he looked at you slightly stunned, speechless.
"what?"
"i mean what i said, we need to stop this, you can't keep acting like we're not more than friends. i'm tired of it, it hurts you know." you explained yourself, letting your emotions get the best of you. beomgyu still looked at you speechless, unable to say anything, you took this as a sign to continue.
"if you only see me as a girl that you can just screw around with, then our friendship is done. if the 12 years of us being friends mean nothing to you, then we can stop all of this." beomgyu's eyes widened at your words, panic filling his eyes.
"no, no please don't.. i really didn't mean to hurt you, i'm so sorry." beomgyu shook his head, "please don't leave me, you're everything to me. i'm sorry that i felt you in the dust, i'm sorry that i flirted with other girls, knowing that i might hurt your feelings, i'm sorry for neglecting your feelings everytime. i'll change please yn.."
he was desperate, he couldn't bear seeing you leav him. the only reason why he decided to continue was because he felt like this was the only way he could have you, without the fear of rejection. he hated himself for hurting you like this out of his own selfishness.
"i'll change, we'll be more than friends, i'll drop the act now. i'll continue loving you like how i always did, i won't ignore you anymore." beomgyu begged, rubbing your arms gently. you listened to his words, not knowing if you could trust him.
"we'll start over. i promise i'll be the man you want." beomgyu mumbled, hoping that his proposal would gain a little bit of your trust. you slowly nodded your head, "you break your promise and i'll kill you."
beomgyu chuckled, wrapping his arms around you, leaning his head against your chest, "my life is yours then.."

But ya know what? I really wanna play as Link.............

Honestly makes the game harder in a fun way, I gotta use the my Wisdom to figure out how to get around now-
#Honestly having more fun now XD#I think it's the idea of the game being Link time#This glitch it kinda hard#I think the hardest part of the timing for the last part#So you have to click a button and I kept going too fast#How to glitch first make sure to make a save while you are Link#You CANNOT save after this point or you'll mess it up The game will auto save for you#Go through prolog and get the sword of might#Go to Kakoriko village and go to the north east next to the woods that fade out and stuff#Put a sign down z target and before you fade out press the A to read it#You are trying to be stuck between the trees#When you exit out of reading the sign press the Plus you also need your menu to be on the save and load#you should be able to press it before you fade out#You will know if you did it right because the menu looks screwy and you can see the map on the bottom right#You cannot see but you need to get a monster to kill Zelda use the map and sounds#After shes dead when the âGame overâ screne pops up press âLoadâ before the âTry againâ appears#You should have 2 menus over lapping now#Go to your link save and press the try again (just press up)#When the screne is dark press up then Say like âMissisippiâ then click the A BEFORE the loading thing at the bottom appears#There you go LINK TIME#Do it before they patch it out#Have fun stabbing things as link#zelda#legend of zelda#echoes of wisdom#link#play as link glitch

This is your sign to get back into playing that video game that you love but put down a long time ago and never picked back up again for no discernable reason
#started playing breath of the wild again a week or so ago after a youtube video about why we put down games showed up in my recommended#i can link the video for anyone who wants it but the most helpful advice in it for me was to just. try playing it for two minutes#if all your fears were right and you cant get back into it then you can put it right back down after the time is up#but if youre enoying yourself then you can keep playing#a big part of my fear was that i wouldnt be able to handle the combat anymore after going like a good couple years without playing it#bc one of the biggest things i love about botw is that for the most part. link doesnt level up#theres no attack and defense stats that level up as you earn experience and make him mechanically better at fighting#for the most part its YOU the player leveling up your fighting skills with practice#...but that also meant that after so long away from the game i was scared that i would have lost all my skill at it#and the learning curve would be too great this late in the game (literally the ONLY main storyline thing left for me to do is fight ganon)#but i played for two minutes and i remembered how much i loved the game. like firsthand not just vague recollection#so ive been running around doing side quests and exploring and now it doesnt feel like im stalling the final battle anymore#it feels like im just intentionally taking time to fully experience the game#and after getting combat practice in again with my exploration im finding out that my fears were wrong!#if anything im even BETTER at combat now than i was when i put the game down#back then i was still terrified of facing lynels and walking guardians#but now im taking them down before they can even get one hit in on me!#im so proud of myself and im having so much fun#so. for anyone else out there. this is your sign to do the same#rambling#maybe once i finish breath of the wild i can even finally start on tears of the kingdom đ

Just so you don't get too-high expectations - there's not really big branching paths or anything like that loop-to-loop. Stuff changes, but it's not like a tree of choices with huge impacts. My partner got very frustrated at the limited choices because she had previously played DBH and Life is Strange and expected something similar (way beyond the scope of an RPGmaker game with one writer). I've also seen people get frustrated at 'unfair' deaths in the story because they went into it expecting a roguelike's fair challenge and got a visual novel in the shape of an RPG instead. Also, there's a couple things early on that almost everyone misses, so I'll let you know. Firstly, there's three Loop chats that are only available when you have done something 2-3 times, 4-8 times, and 13+ times respectively. It's a once per loop thing and you haven't seen it yet. If you lock yourself out of a chat you can still get the later ones. Secondly, there's a secret room - many people find it at some point, but there's interesting dialogue in it in Act 2.
...we think that you presenting "visual novels" as something that doesn't imply that your actions will have a branching tree of consequences with huge impacts that may also include a large amount of scenes locked to obscure and strange combinations of actions that may or may not lock certain things behind them is messing with our brain a bit, sorry.
Maybe it's because of the specific visual novels we're playing, but we're fairly used to them having adjacent staples to older point-and-click games, just with less things to click - which, uhh, older point and click games are actually one of the main genres we enjoy, and probably where we picked up the foundation of our problem solving. The fact that DOSbox is on our desktop probably dates us quite a bit, though we only really remember where a handful of the games we have that work on that currently are.
We quite enjoy visual novels. We've played quite a few of them, they lend themselves well to writing in formats we quite like, and make it very easy to break down where to poke to find certain things. We are also very very used to visual novels having alternate routes and extremely elaborate unlock requirements for those routes. We also use this same sort of technique when we play text-based RPGs, or similar. We spend a lot of time exploring alternative routes for, uhh, pretty much anything - the difference between RPGs and visual novels tends to just be that in the visual novel, the secret might-lock-your-whole-game-if-not-picked-up option is an option that clearly pops up on the screen, rather than a missable pixel on the floor.
...if you can list the things that we need to do 2-3 times/4-8 times/13+ times when they turn up so that we don't accidentally lock ourselves out of conversations, it would be appreciated. We'd rather not run ourself into a wall too early - we'd like all the dialogue we can get! Also, if there's any dialogue that's locked behind stuff like staring at barrels, we've already failed the 2-3 times requirement and the 4-8 times requirement, we've checked literally every barrel in the game that we have access to. Some multiple times.
#asks#we speak#not liveblog#lukiyu#the fact that we actively enjoy old point and click adventure games probably explains a lot about us in general actually#anyways we know that VNs are the Dating Sim Genre we just play enough of them that we're very used to like#a LOT of the âyou must make absolutely sure that youre at THIS POINT in THIS RELATIONSHIP to view this sceneâ type shit#though we sit in the specific niche that overlaps with text-based rpg so maybe thats a sign or something#a lot of the more complex visual novels are not safe for work but in our experience the especially tangled ones tend to be uhh#also made by a single guy. just a single guy on itch.io using ren'py rather than a single guy on steam using rpgmaker#something something âif you want to get really good at something then you need to find really specific pervertsâ effect#this thoroughness is ALSO why we're keeping multiple saves as unfortunately space quest has instilled much thoroughness in us#puzzle games. visual novels. text based rpgs. with their powers combined we are unreasonably thorough about exploring every available avenu#no matter how obscure or just fucking bizarre to explore#anyways we miss point and click adventure games we wish that they got made more often again#though if this isn't going to have roguelike apects in the climb we may have to wind up purposefully killing siffrin to get all dialogue

Just applied for a summer childcare position (like for a camp type thing) that pays 20â28 dollars an hour based on qualifications (I should be towards the end of that scale because I work in a school; and the only requirement the job lists is to be 16 and have experience with children). So hopefully theyâll consider me. That would be wonderful.
#I hate applying for jobs so much. Everyone uses a different website that makes you sign up for newsletters that clog your email#that you have to manually unsubscribe to#But yeah thatâs way more than I get paid as a para lol#which is kind of sad because being a para or teacher is a lot more strenuous and complex than supervising kids during structured play#Because usually the kids enjoy stuff like rock climbing and swimming#so you donât have to guide them through ten different layers of mental gymnastics to complete their work#or sometimes physically keep them from leaving the learning area after every problem they complete#(of course I do the last thing very gently; and I donât like having to carry kids from under tables back to their seats#but theyâre not going to learn anything if they stay underneath tables all day long⊠that kind of defeats the purpose of being in school.#I give a lot of verbal warnings before too. Some kids just refuse to learn all the time regardless of their mood because itâs funny to them#Anyway: Kids should not be playing video games past bedtime on a fucking Oculus Rift#Like seriously the tech withdrawal in some of these babies is palpable#Horrifying#Anyway this summer job will be a breeze if I get it#Hopefully no one will be begging me for chromebooks during rock climbing#(I know it sounds like Iâm irritated with the kids; and I am. But itâs more irritation with their parents letting them become addicted#to iPads for the sake of convenience; and also frustration directed at capitalism that makes the parents so tired#that they let the iPad babysit their kids so they can rest. Itâs the whole system man. Itâs fucked.)

i need to find another pmd project to love on relentlessly to make up for that. i almost feel bad hating on a fan project like that
#echoed voice#devs just know if you somehow find my posts: i respect the work that you do and its very impressive you made the first full length romhack#for this game#thats a great feat and im glad you did it and its this good technologically. the mind stuff was great and parallel timelines were fun#and pls take the fact that this won hack of the year a sign that im just one guy and i am clearly in the minority and that is ok#it just. sadly wasnt my thing and i was more frustrated than happy most of the time#we were talking abt this in discord but also in light of jelloapocalypse being kinda a hot topic rn-#i know im just one guy with a tumblr blog but pls know that whenever i bitch about something- i dont get pissed if you disagree#i dont think im like ''enlightened'' and everyone should just accept my opinions. im just an old man complaining on my lawn basically#if you adored this romhack then good for you! im glad you enjoyed it more than i did!#at the end of the day its still eos and eos is fun and exciting and feels good to play#if youre considering getting this romhack then dont let me convince you not to give it a chance. you may enjoy it more than i did!#maybe youll see stuff that i didnt! maybe itll resonate a lot more with you!#idk where im going with this. but i feel bad being mean to a fan project for too long jsdklfjdsf

I saw a post a while back responding to criticism of botw as being "a good game but not a good zelda game", and they responded with how the Zelda Formula was getting tired and stale and botw was a response to that, that it was meant to harken back to the original zelda game where it just drops you in and it makes you find everything on yr own. which like is fine and good and all but. you do know that the original zelda had 8 full unique (as unique as they could be on the nes) dungeons right. the original zelda game had dungeon items. they didn't need to take out one of zeldas defining gameplay aspects and replace it with the fundamentally inferior shrines and divine beasts. you can make a game non linear and refresh its gameplay without taking out one of the series' strongest aspects.
#I saw it ages ago and haven't really stopped thinking about it#there's no way you can ever try to tell me that shrines r superior to dungeons no way#shrines are short. dull. all use the same assets and same theming. theres no room to work on and develop concepts#some concepts r developed across multiple shrines but bc the order you find shrines in is different every time it still doesnt work#divine beasts r fucking disappointing. they're the actual dungeons but they're abt as long as a mini dungeon and as boring as the shrines#they at least have the set pieces of taking place on giant moving mechs going for them. but inside they're all the same#the bosses are visually all the same#you can make a good zelda game w only four dungeons majoras mask is RIGHT THERE. but mm also has sidequests and a strong story and#strong characters that aren't already dead that you actually give a shit about#romani ranch and the. I can't remember his name. kafe or whatever the fuck his quest was so interesting#the only quest botw has that comes anywhere near as close to it in quality is tarrey town and the actual GAMEPLAY side of that quest is-#just chop down trees and gather x amount of wood#like multiple people I know who played botw didn't even want to actually fight the final boss/only fought the final boss out of boredom#that's not good!!!! when people aren't invested enough in your story to even fucking beat it that's not a good sign!!!!!#mmmmm don't get me wrong. botw is a good game. it's fun to explore and traverse that world. its physics and chemistry systems r insane#but this is why people say it's a good game but not a good zelda game bro đ I want more than 2 types of dungeons#botw is a game im very conflicted on I think it's fascinating. but I've only played it thru fully once#anytime I try to come back to it it can never really regain my attention fully#some of that absolutely has to do with adhd but some of that also has to do with the fact that it's not a rewarding game to play-#for me after a certain point. I've seen everything there is to see and that's really the only compelling thing it offers#ocarina of time and twilight princess and majoras mask all offer me cool boss fights and compelling stories#THAT'S a reason to come back. botw I think I need another 5 years to forget everything about it before I can come back#that last point has more to do with me than an inherent problem with the game#... but it's still the only game in the series (that I've played) that has that problem#again. I like botw. it was phenomenal the first 200 hours. I hope tok is more like what I want from a zelda game though#need to stop putting the entire post in the tags goddamn#espeon cries

SAG-AFTRA IS STRIKING AGAIN
This time, for video games.
Some key information:
They are striking so all performers will have protection against AI
The struck companies are those signed to the Interactive Media Agreement
The listed companies by SAG-AFTRA include Activision Productions Inc, Blindlight LLC, Disney Character Voices Inc, Electronic Arts Productions Inc, Formosa Interactive LLC, Insomniac Games Inc, Llama Productions LLC, Take 2 Productions Inc, VoiceWorks Productions Inc and WB Games Inc. Though this may not be everyone.
Important things from the FAQ:
Some games from struck companies are non-struck (due to the Collective Bargaining Agreement still being in effect)
Localisations will be affected if covered under the Interactive Localization Agreement
Actors who are part of SAG-AFTRA cannot work for non-union or independent/low-budged productions during the strike unless they are signed to an Interim Interactive Media Agreement, Interim Interactive Localization Agreement or a Tiered-Budget Independent Interactive Media Agreement
Similarly to the previous strike, struck work cannot be promoted. This includes accepting awards for performances in struck games. This does NOT include hosting/performing a skit at an awards show and San Diego Comic Con (the latter due to the close proximity to the calling of the strike)
As implied by the point above, SAG-AFTRA performers cannot partake in panels related to struck games or companies, including finished games produced by struck companies
The best way to check if a game is struck is to use the search tool provided by SAG-AFTRA
Most importantly: You are NOT being asked to stop playing video games, as highlighted in the FAQ for creators and streamers. This does NOT cross the picket line. Though please do talk about the strike and show your solidarity
I expect to see the same amount of support from y'all that we saw in the last strike. Just because it's video games doesn't mean performers deserve any less support and protection.
Also please reblog with any additions (with sources - we are NOT here to spread misinformation)! And please correct me if anything listed here is incorrect.
