Starting with my head cannon because every thing will make more sense with it (or it wont that's entirely up to you) Imma try my best to make this enjoyable

So I head cannon both bill and ford as aspec this is important for the rest trust (I'm Aroace myself so some of my words are based of of experience ) being aroace doesn't mean you can't have a toxic one-sided relationship with a triangle

(most of this is pretty vanilla but I still wanna talk about it)

I believe it started of as a one-sided relationship on fords part (wow shocker) but it wasn't really love because he's ace it was more of infatuation (this stems from the fact he is a science boy and like ooo demon triangle thing) mistaken for love (I'm pretty sure this is common among aroace people or I just had an original experience) and maybe bill had just a little bit of the same feeling but instead of infatuation it was just pure obsession and when they had there little “tragic break up” and bill finally came to realize his obsession and it consumed him (idk i think that how abusive obsession is) and he realized he can’t live with out ford (i man he can but unhealthy obsession) and thus bills one sided relationship with ford where he just tries to get his puppet back but can’t figure out why he needs him so bad so he comes to the (subconscious) cuncultion there in love (because of course that’s the reasonable decision) and then you all know what comes after

Ok so this one is the least perfect out of all of them cuz it only half what I want (obviously this song is a stretch but hear me out) It's mostly for the like the last half of the song (remember what I said about throwing out the meaning for get that i lied) this song about the struggle ls of growing up and is a heartfelt plea to be understood and accepted for who we are (which obviously ford was a wired kid) and this kinda ties into the one-sided infatuation because it also is about the romanticism of nostalgic love, and the pressure of society telling you to find someone and "settle down" as we get older (witch yk aroace can’t really do that) so he’s grasping at the fact that he is enamored with this demon he just summoned (because science) so he can come up with this narrative in his head of how he is in love and can finally fit at least one of the societal boxes (idk it sounds like something to me probly ooc but I'm having fun)

i love kurt/ofsky but dave was never the “perfect boyfriend kurt deserved” because there are SO many weird dave things that make him just about the worst possible option for kurt - i think even with sebastian he could have had a healthier relationship than with dave.

starting with the absolute biggest reason imo - dave tormenting and physically assaulting kurt since (presumably) freshman year. even though dave definitely has an arc and becomes a well adjusted individual, i dont think kurt should be expected to simply get over that - yes, he forgave karofsky because he’s pure of heart, but he is allowed to forever resent dave a little bit for that. (which, btw, i think he does. kurt is very forgive but never forget)

dave is also really bad at respecting kurt’s autonomy. the locker kiss, while without a doubt included as an example, i think gets zeroed in a lot compared to dave’s confession in heart. i think the confession is … not less forgivable, but while i could make a case for the locker kiss being an equally low moment of dave’s (not to negate the fact that it does absolutely count as sexual assault) the confession is supposed to be this big sign of dave working through his issues and improving as a person.

… but he obviously knows kurt has a boyfriend yet still chooses to court him leading up to and then confessing on valentines day.

i think that shows a great lack of consideration for kurt and is entirely motivated by dave’s own selfishness - not unlike the locker kiss or assaulting him. it is awkward for kurt and dave being so pathetic about the rejection is not a good look either imo. i honestly wonder how that scene wouldve continued to unfold if that random guy from dave’s new school had not cut their reunion short (even though dave is about to leave by that point - still).

there is also this really interesting, more psychological bullying we get a glimpse to after the locker kiss - dave winking at kurt in the cafeteria in the substitute and limp wristing at him in furt. i’m not even sure myself what exactly i think about it and how to word it yet - it’s just so fascinating to me.

and to top it all off - dave is a particularly good actor/liar in front of parents, teachers and peers alike and is able to obfuscate his motives. though that’s why kurt’s ability to see through him (especially in PQ) is commendable, imo.

and while there is a lot of discussion around blaine being weird for dating karofsky, i also think it is weird for dave to date blaine. the kurt hummel fan club comes to order …

I really love damon man people always say he’s an asshole and while it’s true especially with the way he feels superior then others for his talent

But i still love him and i feel like he has good intent but really bad way of saying it??(he doesn’t sugar coats it that’s for sure LOL-)

(Edit: i forget to mention but the fact in this chapter he felt really more squishy and adorable to me!! They showed a lot of his really adorable side shahaksu he alao blushes quite a bit WHICH MAKES ME SQUEAL AHAHAHAHAHAH)

I honestly love how he’s different from what you expect from a protagonist and found his way of thinking most of the time really relatable (i would click on random unimportant stuff just to see what he says about it😭😭)

I feel like he’s really interesting this chapter! Their were a few moments where i felt like his way of thinking is going to get challenged in later chapters(like him saying “i will only rely on myself to solve this trail” or when he realized eva betrayed him and began thinking about how she actually felt about him and how he shouldn’t have trusted her)

His interaction with kai was literally the highlight for the hole chapter for me OMGG THESE DUO ARE SO FUNNY HOLYY—😭😭

They are so silly god bless thank you for making me see two of my favorite characters interact with each other Gahahagahah

Kai was also really smart at some points and observant i was so proud of him the whole timee MY BABYY (need more x reader fics frfr tho)

It first I didn’t care about her in the prologue. I really just thought she is this stoic cold character that is smart and that’s about it.

And then when her talent get revealed and everyone mocked her for it while she was mortified. I felt really bad for her🥹 really wanted to hug her so badd

Hey Kit!! This past year when the Acolyte came out, my heart broke and I decided to step away from Star Wars. It’s fine that others liked it but personally I didn’t; actually to be frank, I REALLY didn’t like it. Star Wars and Anakin got me through a lot, so watching Disney take an actual shit on his origin and then his redemption ark by half-assing the lore, felt like a punch to the gut, and I had to step away. (This is my personal opinion, if you or others liked it that’s great! I just didn’t). However, when I saw that u published the body politics au, I decided to sit down and catch up on all your fics (btw I love the Hanahaki one!), and it got me back into the fandom. I’m glad one shitty (imo) show didn’t push me away permanently and I have you to thank for that. I’ve met so many great people thru Star Wars and made a lot friends so it had really been kind of hard to turn away from it. I just really wanted to say thank you. your writing is, as always, too beautiful and inspiring to ignore. this is very kind to send to me and a very nice morning read! i admit, i actually have not watched the acolyte, though not for any particular reason. i've definitely heard mixed reviews about the show and its take on the jedi order and the sith, which have been sorta sad to read cause i do like the jedi (though i guess i never label myself as pro-jedi cause like? they're the good guys? you're not like. pro-percy jackson or something right? pro-katniss everdeen? you just sorta read the book and you're like oh yeah these are the good guys. might find aspects of a character annoying but i'm definitely not supposed to be rooting for the Capitol or smething right)

but i've also heard from other people that as a pew-pew show, it delivers on that front! lightsaber fights are cool and everyone has a funky haircut that they pull off somehow which does feel quintessentially star wars

my general view of the disney plus star wars shows is that i'll watch the ones that strike my fancy, and if one of them doesn't then i won't. the star wars disney execs produce a lot of content (and i truly mean content, i.e. material to be consumed - not necessarily art) and a lot of it i'm probably never going to watch. it wasn't made for me, and i definitely get the lurch and disappointment you may feel if you look forward to something for ages and then it's not what you wanted in a thousand small ways or a handful of big ways. i think that's especially hard to guard against nowadays when trailers for tv shows rely more on aesthetic and punchy one-liners and brief second cameos than they do explaining the actual story of the show

but you can be a fan without loving the direction some shows go in or the choices directors make!! if that looks like only watching shows that have been peer-reviewed, or if that looks like ignoring everything but a small corner/subset of a massive fandom, or if that looks like turning from the media itself and diving further into fanart and fanfiction and interacting with people online then that's what it looks like! especially now that the world of canon star wars media isn't just 6-9 movies + 2(?) non trilogy movies, you should absolutely go about watching star wars content with a you-first mindset 100%

you know how many people were disappointed in the obi-wan kenobi series?? soooo many because he was a sad little pathetic and broken man with greasy hair. but that's exactly how i like my obi-wan kenobis, so i was thrilled every episode lol but i'm sure other people hated it and boycotted and whatever. but i found my corner of the fandom who also enjoyed that and it's been wonderful <3

As a long term listener, like I’m taking I remember when you posted your 1k thank you, maybe sometimes it feels a bit awkward to listen to M4M specifically for the shes and theys? And not even from a problematic way, like I am someone who imagines myself and have a hard time imagining otherwise Of course I want to gobble up every video because I genuinely like you as a creator and you voice two of my biggest comfort characters so well (Viktor and Astarion,) but I’ll admit even I get a bit pouty (not mad/upset I mean like 🥺) when it’s not M4A of a character I adore HAHA (I am a goblin for valentine in terms of your OCs btw.)

Of course no one is saying that as a creator you can’t do what you want (at least speaking for myself and hopefully the normal fems/nbs lol), but you still have thousands of listeners that arent on patreon/maybe can’t afford/pay for some reason. i fully understand anyone feeling uncomfortable or dysphoric over m4m audios, just as i would if i listened to a m4f audio. and i have no problem with anyone being a bit disappointed or not wanting to listen to m4m audios. what i had a problem with was someone saying they were 'going to die' because i posted an m4m audio. i do not like guilt tripping, i do not like people threatening to harm themselves in order to get something they want from me, i have had people in the past who would threaten things like that and it was traumatising so it's triggering and upsetting to me to see anything similar to that sort of talk.

i understand i have listeners who cannot afford to pay for my patreon. however, i am still always going to take requests from my patreons, they pay for that reward, i'm not going to take it away that would be unfair. as for only making m4a audios for fandom characters like you suggest, no. i'm not going to do that. i don't want that to be upsetting, but as i said before i am a trans man and sometimes i want to focus on making audios for trans men like me. i don't think that's wrong. and i'm sorry if there's a lack of nonbinary and trans fem listener audios out there, but it shouldn't be put on me to fix that and fill that void? i dont think? is that wrong of me to say? i think it's wrong to say you don't want me to make fandom m4m audios anymore. because when i do make fandom m4m audios the majority of the time it's period comfort audios for trans men and gender affirmations for trans men. why do you think i should stop doing that? do trans men not deserve representation? do trans men not deserve comfort audios aimed specifically at them? i'm sorry if you feel left out if a period comfort audio is m4m instead of m4a or m4f but there are other creators out there who have made m4a and m4f period comfort audios. i know you are trying to be nice, and i appreciate your message, but i am not going to stop making audios for trans men. i don't see why it's wrong of me to do that.

so if anything can come of that ask, i want to make it clear that nonbinary people, women (cis or trans), trans fems and anyone fem aligned are of course as always welcome in my spaces. just because i make some m4m content doesn't mean that you aren't. attraction to female characters probably doesn't come up as much in my spaces as people are mostly talking about my ocs that i voice who of course are not women because voicing female characters would make me dysphoric. but i'm a bi/pan man, i have a wonderful partner who i just had my three year anniversary with who is a woman. i in no way am unwilling to make m4f audios, it's just a matter of what gets requested, and i don't think it's wrong if sometimes i have a personal preference to make audios for trans men when i myself am a trans man who wants to make stuff for people like me. and there are trans fem asmr vas on youtube, there are genderfluid and nonbinary vas, and just other vas in general. if you really don't like that i make audios for trans men, mostly make gender neutral audios to be inclusive of everyone, and rarely make m4f audios.. there's nothing i can do about that. you don't have to listen to my audios, you certainly do not have to listen to any that make you uncomfortable or dysphoric.

Went to see the Vampire Dies in No Time Stage Play on Tuesday night! Will gush about it under the cut, but have some shitty pics of the poster here:

Basically: it was great!!

Since it’s more an episodic gag manga, I wasn’t sure how they were going to handle pacing and all that, but they did a good job of touching on a good variety of stories by combining them and making them flow surprisingly well.

The whole thing was only two hours with no intermission, but it didn’t feel too short or rushed. Then again I’m recovering from mild food poisoning that I accidentally gave myself last night (I was SO worried I wouldn’t be able to go but I’m mostly ok) so maybe it just felt like a good time to tap out for me lol

I thought they might just adapt in the order of the anime, but they touched on some stories/characters from the manga that haven’t been in the anime yet, which was great (main example I can think of rn is the Vampire That Makes Idiots Powerful)

The costumes were SO good, which I’m coming to just expect from Marv productions. It was surreal in the opening titles song when all the cast first assembled, because it was really like seeing the characters from the manga in real life. In terms of costumes, my favorites were probably Draluc and Ydan. Oh, and the blow up prop that was Hennadoubutsu/Weird Animal (think car sales lot tube man thing but not quite that tall and pink. When they first blew it up his head got stuck against the doorframe and they had to tug him in a bit. Not entirely sure if it was an organic gag or scripted but it was funny either way)

I didn’t see them on the poster so I wasn’t sure if they’d be included, but the vampire brothers (Yakyuken/Micro Bikini/Invisible Legs)(boy that’s some trio out of context huh)(they’re my favorite btw lol) were very much included. I was interested to see how they’d do the invisible legs (I was contemplating a cosplay if I could find, like, super reflective fabric or something) but they just made Tohru’s legs black and joked that they could totally see his lower half at some point.

There were a lot of good meta jokes actually! Which is in keeping with the manga for sure. There was also a lot of singing, and Draluc got the first song (called “Team Up Confirmed” after Fukuma tells Ronaldo to include Draluc in his book), which lead to a meta joke about how in the manga Draluc canonically is terrible at singing. His reply was basically“Yes but stage play me is excellent at it ;)”

I think my favorite song was from Ydan but my favorite part overall was probably the audience participation bit in the middle when Yakyuken is introduced (with all his brothers, as some vampires Mikazuki encounters when he comes to Shin-yoko for the first time). Basically most of the audience had multicolored John pen lights and they were all waving them and “playing Yakyuken.” (I didn’t get one bc the ticket and the transit fare was already over budget for me this month >_>) High energy and the music was super fun!

One of my favorite meta jokes was with the trio of grade schoolers; two of the actors were really short and almost looked like kids, but the third was obviously just a man and Draluc had a go at him over it lol (“Wait a minute, one of you is definitely an adult.” “What?! Why would you say that? What makes you say that?!” “Your looks.” “Name three things!” “Ok, I’ll name three things about your appearance: your body shape, face, and height.” Other kids: *start screaming to move the scene along*)

The actors were all great but Draluc’s was probably the standout, he was veryyyy good at the physical acting and got all of Draluc’s flounciness lol

Speaking of Draluc, they had LOTS of different props to represent him dying and it was hilarious seeing a new one almost every time 😂

Examples:

-kiddie pool of styrofoam packing peanuts dumped on his head while he falls to the ground

-grey textured fabric pulled from grade schooler’s backpack and draped over him

-hiding behind a cutout of a pile of sand stuck in from the side of the stage

-a kuroko (stage hand dressed all in black to move props etc, meant to be ‘invisible’) bringing out a cutout but lying it facedown on the stage with a bit sticking up for the actor to step on, raising the cutout when he dies

-kuroko waving streamers on sticks (idk what you’d call them, like feather dusters except not feathers and longer?) with similar grey textured fabric in front of him

-various cast members flapping flags made of that fabric in front of him and then him indignantly collecting the flags from them in the background while Ronaldo was in spotlight

And probably one or two more I can’t quite remember

Bubuo (my least favorite character in the manga but good here) had a short standup interlude where he talked to the audience directly, which worked bc the actor was very charming, and also Ta-Chan came out and roasted him. There was a good joke later where Maria almost killed him while hunting a bear because he was wearing a “shirt that looks like BBQ” (he was wearing the yellow BBO hoodie) and he sounded so betrayed when he went “It’s an O, not a Q!!”

The final act was the Tsujigiri Nagiri intro arc BUT if Draluc and John hadn’t destroyed his effigy. Basically, Nagiri attacks Kantarou as per canon but Ronaldo jumps in to stop him, so Nagiri starts targeting everyone he knows.

Then they all ambush him together but it doesn’t seem to do much (Nagiri lost one of his knives in this big group fight and it flew off the stage lol. Luckily I don’t think it hit anyone but it was just sitting there on the floor for the rest of the scene. He was very professional and just kept on with the fight scene with one empty fist), until Draluc has an idea.

Which is to call on the Vampire Makes Idiots Powerful, who’d been popping up here and there throughout.

So then the whole gang has to tell stories of times they were being dumb as per the manga chapter while fighting Nagiri, then Draus shows up to help, talking about his texting mishaps. And then Ydan shows up and does his thing, and Ronaldo finishes him with a “boobs smell good” punch (a statement that I as a boob haver still wonder about sometimes. I mean they don’t smell different to the rest of the body do they? 😂)

Anyway, lots of good stuff, absolutely worth the price and going with a stomachache lol

i absolutely adore your take on the situation! i also feel like mq would have such a hard time believing lqq being genuine, especially if this would be during the time they would be fighting. and while mq doesn't see himself through the eyes of those who judge him, he still thinks even those who don't think the same. lqq meanwhile doesn't have much of information on mq and xl's relationship so perhaps he would get more curious about it seeing the way mq reacted to the situation.

however i look at it i don't think qianqing would have much issues with their relationship/friendship simply because they would end up talking about the issues at some point, because neither of them are weighted by shared or complicated history, the power imbalance doesn't really exist between them so it wouldn't play that much of a role in their issues, and both of them are stubborn enough to keep trying to make it better when things go south. maybe the topic of morality would be an issue, but seeing as both of them are generals and know war, i don't think the topic would come up all that often. and if it does, mq doesn't strike me as someone who would deliberately take jabs at lqq's ways of dealing with things and would let him do his thing voicing his thoughts (he did deal with both fx and xl's idealistic views after all) and lqq would at least demand mq's explanation before jumping his throat about his ways being "conniving".

Now I’m just thinking about the more mundane sides of their relationship. Like when all of the tension of their previous circumstances is gone and over with, they could really have one of the most sincere companionships in the heavens. I mostly think that way about any relationship where lqq is involved but it’s especially refreshing to imagine with mq who’s never really had that for himself in the way most of the other gods have. Mq deserves a confidant and lqq would be such a positive person for mq to learn to open up more with.

I definitely think they’d have a liveliness to their relationship— lqq seems like the type to lose interest and drag out his formal duties (paperwork, organizing, etc), which mq would absolutely get on his case about. Attendants wouldn’t even be able to formally announce mq’s arrival without lqq trying to find ways to avoid mq for the dread of being dragged back to his duties by the ear. Meanwhile mq would give lqq an earful about how childish he’s being (even if mq may or may not be going along with lqq’s game of avoidance) and eventually sit down with lqq to make sure he finishes what needs to be done.

On the other hand mq is always so distant at festivals and events— always solitary with his martial training and meditations. Lqq is a noisy disruption from the norm but he makes a good sparring partner. Somehow they both find each other’s martial styles familiar (it’s the xl conditioning but neither of them know that yet). Lqq is far from besting mq but I think he would be a good sport about it— mq leaves him in the dirt more times than either of them can count but lqq always grins and leaps back to his feet for another determined round.

There would be quiet, comfortable moments too but those seem somehow more rare and more special for them.

Anyway—! I would LOVE to see fy!mq run into lqq while they’re out trying to solve their individual problems in the mortal realm. Maybe lqq wouldn’t recognize mq at first— maybe mq wouldn’t want lqq to recognize him. But despite that possibility I still think it would be interesting to see mq try and convince lqq as fy to take a different path,,, even if he fails to dissuade lqq.

I just love having these talks though!!! And I get where you’re coming from. It feels out of place to be someone who likes lqq but doesn’t necessarily like qiurong. No hate or judgement here though— it’s just not for me! And since lqq’s presence in the plot is very limited it’s both a blessing and a curse cos it means so much about him is a mystery BUT!! it also means interpreting how he interacts with other characters is free real estate 😂 I love the creativity that comes from the circumstances!

And I’ve decided I want to participate in the lqq/sqx event but I haven’t decided what prompt(s) I wanna draw for yet. That’s something I’ll figure out soon huhuhu

Au of fmbh where upon Luke announcing he will never have a child with Aemond, Otto schemes and is successful in having Viserys order Aemond to be the bride in their wedding. (He’s actually not that hard to convince because Viserys wants to see Luke have children and is also delulu enough into thinking that a year into their marriage Luke will change his mind and get pregnant). Cue after their bedding ceremony Luke has Aemond drink moon tea (which is something I’m pretty sure I’ve never ever seen in a Lucemond fic???). Btw I’m super impressed with the way you’ve conceptualized gender in this story. It was getting to be really one sided in fics for this pairing to see Luke be the ONLY Valyrian in the ENTIRE family to have the ability to bear children. It was strange to read him have this rare Valyrian ability but people still called him a bastard? Thank you for adding some flavour to this pairing!

An au where Aemond actually bottomed on their wedding night would be so chaotic. Mostly because Aemond himself is not comfortable doing so in any way and everyone around him knows it. His issues with gender identity and physical sex runs so deep that had things actually gone that way he would’ve absolutely checked out during the bedding and been left traumatized. Though I myself am cis i’ve had enough personal talks with my irl’s to know having penetrative sex when you’re constantly battling dysmorphia can have a horrible outcome, even when you thought it was something you could handle. I feel it adds so much more depth to a story where these themes play a major part in the characters actions.

Luke and Baela are comfortable enough in themselves that they battle little to no personal issues, Aemond has been told time and time again what he is is unnatural therefore he’s internalized that, meanwhile Aegon who was raised in the same environment took that learned self-hatred and starter hurting himself with alcohol and constant sex (a lot of which ended in pregnancy) as a way to “fight back”

I’ve always thought Targs being intersex made sense seeing as they’re closely related to their dragons in so many ways. Though I love stories where Luke happens to be the only male who can carry it does make you wonder how things could go if this trait was established as a common in Valyrian men.

There’s actually a Luke/Aegon fic/series where after Luke gives birth Aegon wants to have another baby and offers to carry it himself. Something I actually wasn’t expecting.

only three days? 😩

well, regardless of whether we’re already together or not, I figure Hunter and I both have very different ideas of what activities to do. he’s an active, outdoorsy guy, and I’m an indoor couch potato LOL

so then, we’d split up the days! (treating this as a modern AU btw 😜)

first day would be doing whatever Hunter wants. he’d argue about letting me go first, but no, I wanna get the hard stuff outta the way first 😝 I’m sure he’d wanna go on a nature walk or something like that, so I’d recommend my local arboretum. I genuinely love going there, so I could stomach a few hours walking around in a familiar forest of trees. I’d douse myself in bug spray, which would likely deter him from wanting to get near me for a while haha. but he wouldn’t be able to stay away for long. he wants to stick close in case I wander off. and you know… for other reasons 😉 we’d track down some of the deer and other little critters that live there, maybe even spot a hawk or eagle if we’re lucky. there would definitely be hand holding for most of the walk. I’d wish I could pick some of the small flowers growing around to take home, but I’m nervous about taking anything for fear of getting in trouble (even though there’s no one else around 😝). Hunter secretly starts gathering flowers for me to surprise me at the end of the walk with the tiniest little bouquet ever 🥺💙 I’m sore and tired by the end of it, but the walk was worth it to get to see Hunter in his element, enjoying the natural beauty of the world 🥰

day two would be whatever I want to do. which is just stay home ROFL. we’d stay on the couch and chat away about literally anything. I love hearing stories about his family, and him with mine. I’d show him my favorite movie (Tron Legacy of course 😋), and then we’d play some video games (Mario Kart, Smash Bros, maybe some Overwatch too). I would wanna order out food, but Hunter would offer to cook something as a special treat for me. he’s not the best cook, but he enjoys doing it (unlike me), so I let him do it. he knows what I like, and like with the forest, I’m just relishing in seeing him so happy 🥰 oh, did I forget to mention there would absolutely be much couch cuddling? because there would be much couch cuddling 😁

third and final day, we both decide on an activity together. it’ll be out of the house for Hunter’s sake, but I pick where we go. and I know the perfect place to satisfy us both: a day at Six Flags! Hunter momentarily balks at the idea of going to an amusement park, but I tell him he can pick what rides we go on first. which he then tells me, it’s fine, he doesn’t care, he’s just happy to spend time with me 🥹 so I take him on all my favorite rides, which are mostly coasters. Hunter… isn’t the biggest fan of coasters. but again, he’s doing this for my sake! he’ll power through it! even if he ends up screaming every time we go down a big drop! 😂 lucky for him, there’s some rides I like that aren’t coasters. and thankfully, he doesn’t get dizzy easily cause there’s a LOT of spinning rides. he ends up enjoying it solely because I’m so happy after each ride is over and I excitedly drag him onto the next one. there are several carnival games, and I reeeeeeally want the Pikachu and Charmander plushies they have, so you bet your butt Hunter’s gonna play those games until I have my precious Pokémon plushies. lucky for me, he’s so skilled and dexterous that it doesn’t take many tries 😁 we also get some funnel cake and Dippin Dots throughout the day cause you HAVE to get funnel cake and Dippin Dots when you go to Six Flags, you HAVE to. by the end of the day, Hunter is more exhausted than I am, so we finish our visit with a nice calm ride on the carousel. we find two horses side by side (I must have a black one, he doesn’t care what color his is). he helps me onto my horse before practically flying up onto his. right before the ride starts, Hunter reaches over and grabs my hand. we keep our hands locked throughout the ride. I’m focused on looking out at the park as we ride, while Hunter can’t keep his eyes off me. it’s a nice, long, calm ride to signify the end of our time together. our hands don’t separate even after getting off the ride.

once we get back to the car, Hunter suggests we find a quiet place to pull the car over to and watch the stars for a bit. there aren’t many stars where I live, but ironically, it just so happens to be a perfectly clear night. we can see my favorite constellation, Orion, up in the sky. I tell him how much I’d love to visit the stars. he says he would do anything in his power to get me there if he could. more than anything, we both just wish we had more time together. our hands stay interlocked and our heads gently rest on each other, which inevitably evolves into more intimate activities (I am NOT letting this man leave without some smooches 😤).

our time together may have been short, but it was worth it. at the end of it all, the activities didn’t matter. simply being together was enough. and we were grateful for every second of it 💙💙💙

How is the Emperor’s Coven operating? Is the Boiling Isles coven system self-efficient enough without Belos manning the helm?

Is Hunter freaking out about his missing uncle and trying to find him or has he been coerced into a better health schedule by some of the coven scouts (ie Steve) and possibly Darius and Eber and Raine?

Speaking of RED (lol, my little nickname for the three rebellion coven heads), are they investigating Belos’s disappearance?

And my last question - how’s Philip’s interaction with King and Amity? Those two I haven’t seen and loved comics/art of his interacting with them yet and I’m curious how that would all go over.

Hello! Firstly I'd like to apologize for taking a while to reply, I've been a bit busy irl lol. Secondly, it's all cool! I'm always happy to answer questions, and these ones haven't been asked yet (im??pretty sure?? I dont have a good memory pfft) so it's all good haha.

A little warning, both for mention of death (just like off handedly, treated as a possible result of the emperor going splat out the window), and also I'm gonna ramble A LOT, so this will probably be... very, very long. And filled with my bad humor since I cannot control myself ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. It's been only a week, maybe less, since I came up with this au so I dont have many solid ideas in place. Everything is open to interpretation!

I've actually been thinking over how the Emperor's Coven, and by extension the coven heads and the boisling isles itself, would react to Belos' predicament. I've written out a few scenarios, roughly plotted out some scenes that would go down between characters, but nothing's really set in stone. Here's what I have so far, but I honestly encourage people to have their own interpretation of what would go down if they wished :)!

So. Belos' epic fail (real not fake) (coven scouts called) via falling out a window was obviously witnessed by some scouts down the hallway, either that or they heard a loudass noise coupled with the Emperor swearing which was totally Not Good. One of the images I'd planned to draw later but didnt get to was one where there was a coven scout (STEVE!!!), Lilith, and Hunter all staring out of the window.

Now on one hand, the coven could come to the conclusion that the Emperor is dead (because who the hell can survive a fall that high + if the emperor survived he "totally would have come back as soon as he could" = emperor is dead oh crap). Hunter would VEHEMENTLY deny this ("He can't! There's no way that could happen!" Followed by him having a rough time of it poor guy).

Either that or they come to the conclusion that this was a kidnapping attempt or soemthing of the like and Belos is missing, which is just as bad. Hunter is still suspicious about that, because /who the hell could be able to kidnap Belos/? Obviously not a human teenager. Cough.

Either way, Lilith, as the head of the emperor's coven at the time (since its early season 1, right before the convention episode too), has to deal with... a lot of things, including dealing with other coven heads, the emperor's coven, and just trying to get things in order in the chaos that came from the emperor's sudden and tragic "death". Still on the fence about if someone in particular takes over his role or if all the coven heads work together (poorly btw they're gonna fight a lot over it), as well as if the general populace is informed about him "peacefully passing away from old age" or his "sudden disappearance" or whatever.

Anyways shes working herself to the bone. Shes got eyebags for days, plus the added stress of the dude who /PROMISED/ to cure her sister of her curse just up and vanishing to who knows where, so shes. Having a rough time.

Hunter is, as I said, not doing well!! In his mind Belos has always been this sort of... untouchable figure, you know? Nobody could hurt him. Now hes missing, and since Belos is his only "family", Hunter is determined to find him, wherever he is.

So then I had this scene written down where Lilith, still wanting a cure for her sister (plus some other things she needs for the coven itself), and Hunter, wanting a clue about his uncle's whereabouts, both decide to. Uh. Break into Belos' quarters and pilfer his shit.

Does he even have quarters canonically? Its so weird thinking of this dude like... legitly sleeping. Like in a BED. Either that or he sleeps on his throne ahdhshava just imagine that. Hes sitting on his throne all day listening to people with his mask on and hes not responding because hes completely OUT behind that thing ahagdhs.

Okay side tangent over. Basically Hunter is sneaking down the hallway, all sneaky like, and he stops by the door. He reaches out to open it, but before he could it opens to reveal lilith, carrying several books that had probably been banned from the public, and they're both staring at eachother.

"I wont tell if you wont."

"Deal."

A few other notes I had detailed a scenario in which Lilith and Hunter either a) work together to carry out the Emperor's will while he's gone (or presumed deceased) or b) investigating into what occured due to their own interests, which eventually winds up with them uncovering the mountain of wtf that the Emperor had hidden. In my notes I wrote down about them potentially meeting the collector because I thought'd it be funny to draw their reactions to them. Fun!

(Also the collector has been around Belos for a while now, just kinda stuck in place. What the hell is he gonna do when the only contact they've had with another person- albeit not a GOOD one, not by a long shot- suddenly disappears???)

As for RED (THATS WHAT THAT MEANT!!! I SAW IT BEFORE IN A FEW FICS AND I WAS SO CONFUSED AHFHSGWGAH ANYWAYS-) they probably get involved later on with this whole mess. At this point of time Raine isnt a coven head- unfortanutely, but they only become one in season 2, and since its season 1 it's up to Darius and Eber instead. I do contemplate if, in this state of chaos, Raine is promoted earlier on so that theres more stability or something,,, idk. I'm still not sure ^^;

Goodness but. This kid. Hunter needs some people to make sure he doesnt wear himself down to the bone just scouring the isles. Imagine if he arrives in places to investigate like RIGHT after Phil leaves the place, both none the wiser. Gah.

Honestly though, I think if anyone would be able to coerce this kid into sleeping a full night's sleep, it'd be Steve. Hes not involved with all this conspiracy-investigatory-drama stuff like all of the other responsible adults in Hunter's life, and he has big brother energy.

Okay, onto King and Amity: I- uh, I'm still figuring things out with these two. Amity is Lilith's personal apprentice (I'm pretty sure? At this point in time at least), and the au begins before her character development really kicks off, so I dont think its until later when she gets to meet Phil and also experiences deja vu "hey your voice is super familiar?" like Eda and Lilith. Just like RED, I'm not sure what to do with Amity yet, unfortunately. I'm open to suggestions/ideas though! :)

As for King, Phil is like... you know cat trees/perches? Yeah. That's what Phil is to King. Hes like an adequate Grandpa, he has some responsible instincts, but hes kind of reserved to being King's personal perch when he wants to feel tall.

Somewhere in my notes I also wrote down the following:

"King and Phil are mysterious origins buddies

King: maybe you were also a malevolent and terrifying (though not as terrifying as me) ruler like I once was?

Phil: hm... no, I dont feel like I would have been a very good ruler"

It was for something I wanted to draw but,,, yet again, I didn't get around to doing lol.
