I want to believe that she went back to fight Vhagar because she realized that not killing the Greens led to the death of Lucerys, her Grandson. Even though Rhaenys may not have been warm, she no doubt did love those boys.

Rhaenys loved her grandsons in her own way. It wasn’t warm nor was it the kind of love which was screamed from the rooftops, but it was there and I’ll die on that hill.

There are a dozen and one factors which caused Rhaenys’ love for the boys to manifest as it did in my opinion; Shame for having forced her son into a het marriage despite having a partner he loved and the heavy taboos concerning bastardy being the main contenders. It created a sense of guilt for the hardships she put her son through as well as guilt for unintentionally having a hand in three boys being born into a society that sees their mere existence as a sin against nature. And seeing how much Laenor loved those boys despite them not being his by blood probably led to a lot of self-reflection met with roadblocks caused by an entire lifetime of prejudices.

R.I.P to the queen who should have been. Hopefully you and Lucerys get a chance to build a better relationship after beating Jaehaerys’ ass in the Targ afterlife

Grandpa Corlys not wanting anyone else to be his heir, just Luke. He never even thought about what would happen if Luke passed and who would take after him in case of anything, it was only Luke. In his mind he couldn’t fathom anything happening to his Pearl. I don’t even think he’s fully accepted that Luke is even gone. Cause he hasn’t even thought about who his next heir will be.

And that’s just true love right there isn’t it? Nothing but loyal to his grandson despite Luke being gone and their circumstances being so dire.

While we all know that Luke had many insecurities over his ability to take over Driftmark considering his sea-sickness, lack of swordsmanship and even paternity, Corlys never cared about any of that. It didn’t matter that Luke couldn’t handle being out at sea— he didn’t give a damn that his heir didn’t look like him, and he most certainly didn’t care about what anyone may have had to say on the matter including his very on brother. Luke was his grandson, the boy who was born to inherit the sea just as Jace was born to inherit the Iron throne. I can just imagine Corlys holding a newly born Luke who was tiny enough to carry in one arm as Laenor tells his father that this little boy will be their legacy.

Jace mimicking Daemons stance as “Rhaenyra says “no,”” to him. Jace is so Daemon coded I swear.

Jace is definitely Daemon coded. When someone on twt pointed out he’s his stepfather’s mini-me to the point where they even have the same stance I grinned so damn hard my cheeks started to hurt. Daemon raised those boys like his own and it shows in the most subtle ways.

But can we also take a moment to point out how Daemon being a role model for both Jace and Aemond affects the way these two present themselves to the world? To Jace Daemon is not only a worrier but a man whose intellect and wit are more than worth learning from. The sort of man who when he speaks you listen because knowledge will certainly be dropped even if it’s hidden in-between petty insults. Jace wants to learn as much as he can from Daemon and apply those teachings as he journeys to become his own man, not actually be him.

On the other hand Daemon is someone Aemond wants to mirror exactly. A full blooded Targaryen who’s seen real battle first-hand and made it out victorious with more than a few scars. There’s always an air of confidence surrounding Daemon to the point where most may think him arrogant yet he wears it so well. Aemond tries to mimic that from what little he’s been able to pick up on what few occasions they were in the same room but it just comes off as a little boy trying to play dress up. It’s gotten to the point where instead of being upset or even frightened, he’s geeked about Daemon sending two men to behead him because in his mind thats a sign he’s worthy of Daemon’s rage.

This scene actually broke my heart into a million pieces and its not even funny. Personally, I feel this just puts into perspective how close all three of these boys really were if the youngest of them not only knew how dearly Luke must’ve held that figurine to his heart, but going out of his way to find and make sure they burned it so perhaps it’d be with his big brother on the other side.

Don’t even get me started on how heart broken Rhaena looked. Luke’s funeral truly does a great job of reminding us why this family has a right to want Aemond 6 feet under.

Is the second season going to change anything you proposed for FMN?

As of yet, not at all. I’m not a big enough fan of the shows changes thus far to actually add any of it to the FMN verse. While Alicole is for sure interesting to watch play out, them having had an affair simply doesn’t match up to the version of Alicent I’ve developed. Same goes for how blood and cheese was actually an “accident” as well as the alleged meet up Nyra and Ali are supposed to have in the next episode according to the leaks.

My answer may change as the season continues on but so far it’s not enough to turn the tides.

Aemond caring and regretting Luke’s death more than his nephew Jaeherys who was just killed is just….Luke is working overtime haunting that narrative.

Anti’s called us crazy when we insisted that Lucerys was important. They said we were delusional, that we were living off headcanon’s, but look at us now. Two episodes into an eight episode season and Luke has been mentioned more often than some living characters. Our boy is truly haunting the narrative and I couldn’t be more proud.

All that aside I think we need to come together to find whatever Lucemond secretly scored a job pitching ideas in that writing room. Aemond’s buck naked in the arms of the sex worker he more than likely just got off on and yet Luke is the person on his mind? *chef’s kiss*

Technically Alys has been mentioned in passing through some of Aemond’s internal monologue a few chapters back. However, that’s not the last we’ll be hearing of her considering she does have her own role to play..

in FMN if people are starting to know about Luke's existence with the Lannisters, will it be something important? I mean, will the media be some kind of obstacle or annoyance?

Oh most definitely. Media in the FMN verse are about as bad as paparazzi were in the late 90s/early 2000s and they’ll eat up anything involving members of the great houses. If certain people were to catch wind of Luke’s existence and in turn find out about his current case (something Alicent is doing everything she can to keep as quiet as possible considering the circumstances) the whole family would without a doubt get the Britney spears circa 2007 treatment. Not to mention that people from Luke’s past would easily be able to keep up with him— good and bad alike.

Sadly, this possibility is increasing by the day since last chapter we’ve seen that people at the kids school are starting to talk.

What do you think of what Daemon and Rhaenyra's relationship will be like in season two? Will you put it on FMN?

Honestly, their marriage is will be extremely rocky and borderline on the road to sinking in the not-so-distance future of FMN, so I feel like Ryan and Sara Hess low-key ripped me off since from what I see Daemyra isn’t doing the best in season two. If Rhaenyra feels she has to ask (probably beg) her husband if he accepts her as his ruler, it’s practically over with. There’s little to no trust there anymore.

As for FMN, One thing Rhaenyra has made sure Daemon knows is that she won’t stand for any lying no matter how big or small, especially when it comes to her children. So with Daemon knowing about Luke’s past abuse and what happened the night the kids snuck out to the basement yet making it a point to cover up for them he’s pretty much dug his own grave.

However my writing is superior because Daemon would never put his hands on Rhaenyra.

Speaking of FMN, there is a false information that everyone, including historians, seems to take as true, the green and black no longer bother to be outraged, they just wonder where such a lie originated from. Is there any member who anonymously still goes to Twitter/forums to refute such facts saying that this did not happen?

All. The. Damn. Time. Like literally.

For one, everyone seems to think that Aegon iii and Viserys ii were against their mother’s rule which is why neither ever made the move to officially solidify her position as queen years after the war ended. This is made out to be a fact in numerous records and reiterated in most articles. Egg takes this absurdity to heart. There’s many layers in his reasonings for not solidifying his mother’s title, but going over them time and time again to strangers over the internet has gotten really old really fast. The poor boy just rolls his eyes whenever he sees it cause it’s far too exhausting to refute without sparking a debate with some loser whose name is “Cheeselover69”

There’s also possibility that if you log onto twitter and tweet “Alicent and the good queen Aemma didn’t get along before the queens death.” A random account by the name of “alic3nt_39lovesNugget$” will report you until your account is permanently banned.

Because Alicent married Viserys so soon after Aemma’s death, most people believe that means there must’ve been previous beef between the two. As if 14 year old Alicent was plotting on her friend’s dad from the beginning and Aemma peeped game. One of many commonly believed lies that Alicent WILL argue anonymously over the internet about.

Another is that Aemond wanted to sleep with Helaena. Now this one isn’t as popular since the common agreement is that Aemond’s thoughts seemed to always be focused on Nyra’s sex life, but some argue Aemond was exceedingly jealous of his brother therefore wanted everything he had including their sister.

This makes both Aemond and Helaena a bit uncomfortable since their relationship has never been anything other than strictly familial. However this is the same Aemond who has ten famous quotes and half of them are about his older sister’s coachie we’re talking about, so him wanting Hel isn’t that much of a far fetched theory in some people’s minds.
