⚠️Warning Swearing, blood, death, and traumatic events⚠️
Chapter 2
<<Previous / next>>
When Shadowmoth is defeated things take a twist for Ladybug and Chat noir. Ladybug goes to new worlds when she learns new things about her past. Dragging Chat noir along with her. And back on Earth the world is rewired to have one person rule it all, King Félix Fathom. And on top of all that a new villain rises, Signora Farfalla. With new worlds, rulers, villains and even feelings who knows what mysteries are in the stars.
=-+ Note’s +-=
This is an AU where the events of season 4 aand the ending of season 3 did not happen. Ladybug still has the miraculouses, Rena Rouge is still active and Felix was never given a miraculous. The only events that did happen are that Rena Rouge knows Ladybug is Marinette and Ivan, Sabrina, Marc and Nathanael were given miraculouses. Ladybug has also let all of the miraculous holders keep their miraculouses and Alix and Chloé have a miraculous. And more mysteries are yet to be solved.
This story is inspired by The Lunar Chronicles by Marissa Mayer. If you like this story you’ll enjoy The Lunar Chronicles. It is an amazing series about a teenage cyborg girl and her journey defeating an evil queen. There’s 4 books: Cinder, Scarlet, Cress, and Winter. Each book is inspired by a different fairytale. Cinder - Cinderella, Scarlet - Little red riding hood, Cress - Rapunzel and Winter - Snow White. It is one of the best book series I’ve ever read and I recommend it so much.
Chapter 2- The pain siblings
Chat noir had called her a million times. Maybe more. But she wouldn’t answer. It was patrol time and he was especially on edge with the new Shadowmoth. He didn’t know what to do if they attacked. And he needed his lady to figure it out. He also just kind of wanted to see her.
He heard a thump and turned around. He found Rena rouge and Ladybug. Ladybug looked like she was about to pass out and Rena was trying to keep her awake and support her. “Um Ladybug you okay?” Chat asked maybe a little concerned for her sanity. Ladybug just grumbled and crossed her arms. Rena sighed.
“She’s been… a little… out of it lately. And she’s mad because I forced her to come to patrol today.” Rena said, annoyed.
“Um… if she doesn’t want to see me today it’s fine I can deal with patrol by myself.” Chat said shrugging then he looked away trying desperately to find a distraction. Ladybug looked like she realized something important and then instantly stood up. Her face turned red and started stumbling.
“I… no!… i… it’s… it’s not like I… I don’t want to. KISS! I mean see you! It’s… it’s just…” she looked away sadly. He could easily tell Rena was feeling awkward.
“Rena you can go if you want.” Ladybug said underneath her breath. Rena looked at Ladybug. She nodded and ran off. Ladybug stared at her looking like it was the death of her being alone with him. Chat deflated. Obviously she didn’t want to be near him.
“I’m sorry. Am I making you awkward? Or uncomfortable? I’m sorry I can go and you and Rena can do patrol or…”
“NO!” Ladybug scrunched her eyes closed. She looked mad.
“I’m sorry I didn’t…”
“Stop apologizing!” Ladybug looked him in the eyes. She now just looked sad. She started playing with her hair.“I’m sorry, Chat… I just… I don’t know why you still put up with me… I messed up…”
“Ladybug.”
“Everything and I feel so bad and I don’t deserve…”
“Ladybug!”
“To have the miraculous. I can’t defend anyone and I feel so bad…”
“LADYBUG!” Ladybug just continued rambling about how she was a horrible person. And she didn’t deserve to be Ladybug. And more bad stuff about herself. And Chat. Just. Couldn’t. Believe. It. He legitimately just screamed in her face and she’s still talking. Chat needed her to stop talking so she can explain why she’s acting like this. Then he had an idea. An idea that is really stupid and idiotic. And she’ll probably be really mad. But it was an idea.
Chat grabbed the back of her head and pulled her into a kiss.
…………………..
Chat was actually kissing her this time. Like legitimately KISSING her. Ladybug was caught by SO FUCKING MUCH SURPRISE. I mean do you just kiss someone out of the blue?! Ladybug was as still as a statue. It was probably a good idea to pull away. But she kind of didn’t want to. Chat was about to pull away when Ladybug grabbed the back of his head and pulled him into an even deeper kiss. Chat made a somewhat surprised sound and laced his hands into her pigtails.
Ladybug legitimately felt like she was about to melt into a puddle of red mush. Her heart was beating so fast she felt like it was about to burst out of her chest. Man she really did not realize how much she wanted to kiss him. Ladybug’s legs started to collapse. But Chat put one of his hands on her waist, pulling her closer to support her.
There was a low rumbling. Ladybug froze. Chat was purring. He pulled away quickly, embarrassed. “I I’M SO SORRY. I MEAN SORRY FOR KISSING YOU. NOT PURRING. I MEAN IF YOUR MAD AT ME FOR PURRING. I’M SORRY FOR THAT TOO!”Ladybug just started laughing.
“I’m not upset. I’m definitely surprised. But definitely not upset.” Ladybug said, laughing even more. “And plus your purring was cute.” Chat stood there blushing so much. He looked really cute when he was embarrassed. “I’m just wondering why did you kiss me?”
“I you you were rambling too much about how your a a bad person. And you weren’t listening to me. And you were definitely not stopping anytime soon. So so I thought I could make you stop by kissing you… and I I guess it got a little bit out of control…” he laughed a small laugh. Then she looked at the ground still embarrassed.
…………………..
Chat stood there really embarrassed. He totally didn’t mean to start purring. “I’m sorry, Chat.” She said suddenly. She looked at the ground too. “I… Master Su-Han came to visit after I got back from the fight yesterday.” Chat looked at her. Er well the top of her head. “He’s… I think he’s mad. And disappointed in me…” she started crying a little. Chat started wiping the tears away. She looked up and started crying even more. “I’m sorry, Chat. I messed up. And I have a feeling master Su-Han might make me give up the Miracle box.”
Chat froze. “Wha…what?” She looked at him with sad eyes. Chat shook in anger. “I’m not gonna let him do that.”
“Chat, you can’t force him to not do that.”
“Well I’m gonna!”
“Chat…”
“This isn’t negotiable!” She frowned.
“And how are you gonna do that?”
“I… I’ll find a way.” They stood there in silence. “So… you told him everything?” Chat asked nervously. Ladybug started blushing.
“N…no not everything. I only told him who has the miraculouses and that I was stabbed. And no he was not concerned that I was stabbed.” Ladybug crossed her arms. She seemed a little salty about Master Su-Han not being concerned.
“Speaking of being stabbed, are you okay?”
“Oh yah. It’s just sore now. It’s a little weird that it healed so fast though.” Ladybug held her stomach like it was still bleeding.
“Yeah well that’s being a superhero for you.” Ladybug giggled.
…………………..
They sat there for a while. Nothing had happened yet. And it was unusually quiet. Except for the occasional pigeon and wind blowing. “Ok I think we both know it’s unusual for Paris to be this quiet.” Chat said, breaking the silence.
“Yah it’s disturbingly quiet. Maybe we should do a check around Paris to figure out what’s going on.” Ladybug said, looking around. Then she froze. Her gaze landed on the Eiffel Tower.
“Ladybug?” She pulled out her Yo-yo and used it to zoom in on the Eiffel Tower. “Ladybug?” Her face went pale.
“Look at this.” She said, handing him her yo-yo. He took it and couldn’t believe his eyes. Well actually it didn’t surprise him that much. On the Eiffel Tower, standing, was Lila. Surrounded by butterflies. She was making a speech but he couldn’t hear it. “We should get closer.” Chat noir nodded. She was right. But he still had a bad feeling about it.
They hid on a roof. Watching closely. The people who had gathered were cowering in fear. Ladybug was really quiet. She was nervous. She had messed up so badly that now the civilians were so scared. Little boys and girls crying. Parents protecting their children. Teenagers filming the scene on their phones. All of them. ALL of them were probably mad at her. Ladybug hid behind the roof even more. She started shaking. Lila hadn’t talked since they got there. Maybe she was waiting for something? Or someone? Was she waiting for them?
Lila had her dark hair in a bun. She had a big silver hair tie keeping it in place with purple ribbons. Her little bubble braids in the front were tied with purple ribbons. The ends of the bubble braids were dyed purple. She had black sclera and vibrant purple irises and pupils. She had a dark grey mask that stretched down to her cheeks. She had a suit jacket that was closed with short sleeves and a long tail. She had long dark grey fingerless gloves and biker shorts. And knee high boots. There was a pearl belt with a charm that looked like the butterfly miraculous. Speaking of the miraculouses she was only wearing one… where was the peacock miraculous?
“First time I’ve seen a villain in biker shorts.” Chat noir commented. Ladybug laughed quietly. Chat looked at her. “You okay?”
“Yah yah I’m fine.” She kept staring intensely at Lila. Chat looked away.
“So what are we gonna do first?”
“Let’s just wait for her to talk.”
“Citizens of Paris!” Lila had finally said something.
“About time.” Chat noir muttered under his breath. Ladybug pulled out her Yo-yo. Chat pushed her yo-yo back down. He could feel Ladybug’s gaze landing on him confused. “Let’s just wait.” Ladybug hid behind her wall again.
“I’m Signora Farfalla!” Lila said smiling.
“Signora Farfalla?” Ladybug asked, confused, she looked at Chat.
“It means Lady Butterfly in Italian.” Chat said.
“I see she’s finally going back to her actual roots.” Ladybug muttered.
“You’re Heroes have failed you. Their one job, to retrieve the Peacock and Butterfly miraculous. They failed. Miserably I would even go as far to say.” She chuckled. Ladybug grabbed the roof. Chat put his hand on top of hers. She relaxed a little but not much. “Your so-called “Heroes” barely even had the Peacock and Butterfly miraculouses in their clutches. Sure they succeeded at one thing. Killing an icon! Oh you didn’t know? They killed Gabriel Agreste!”
Ladybug grabbed the roof even harder. Chat squeezed her hand. “Lies lies LIES.” Ladybug angrily hissed. Chat slumped down. Yes technically they had killed Gabriel Agreste. But he was a villain. And they didn’t do it on purpose. Actually thinking about it he killed himself. He was the one who shoved Chat noir into the wall.
“Listen I know you trust your heroes but they won’t help you now. There’s a new butterfly miraculous holder in town! And I’ll make your lives unbearable. Oh and what will your heroes do? Well why don’t they tell us themselves.” Lila smiled like the devil and suddenly Chat noir was encompassed in butterflies. Ladybug only saw darkness. She only heard the flutter of wings. Ladybug’s hand was torn away from Chat noir’s. “Chat? Chat!? CHAT!?” Her eyes started watering. But she wiped the tears away. She tried shoving her hand through the butterflies. But it was like rock. She suddenly was pulled down to her knees. The butterflies covering her mouth. She started sobbing. Her knees stinged from crashing into whatever she collapsed onto. Suddenly her vision was cleared. She saw she was on top of the Eiffel Tower. Her hands and knees were being held down by butterflies.
She looked to her right and saw Chat. She tried calling for him. But it was all muffled. She started sobbing. He looked at her with sad eyes. Then he looked down at the people that had gathered. She wanted to hold his hand and curl up against him so badly. But she. couldn’t. move. She stared at him. Until Lila pulled her face toward her. Ladybug was staring into those cold eyes. They were so unusual and unnatural. “Pathetic” Lila spat. Lila threw Ladybug’s face towards Chat. Chat sat up straighter and glared at Lila.
All of the butterflies around Ladybug’s mouth flew away. “So Ladybug? What are you gonna do to protect Paris? Are you gonna even try?” Lila circled around Ladybug. “I mean your so incompetent you can’t even protect yourself! How are you gonna protect Paris? How are you going to protect your parents? How are you gonna protect your friends? How are you gonna protect the one you love?” Ladybug looked at Chat then quickly looked away. “You know why don’t we actually see?” All of the citizens backed away from the Eiffel Tower. Some even ran back home. But they didn’t need to. Lila pulled out a knife and walked behind Chat Noir. She brought the knife below his chin and held it in front of his neck.
Lila brought the knife closer to his neck. Ladybug panicked, there wasn’t anything she could do. She was useless. She was so useless. Lila brought the knife closer until it was pressing into his skin. Little droplets of blood getting on the knife. No. No. No. “STOP!” Ladybug didn’t know where the scream came from. Until she realized everyone was staring at her. Until she realized her own throat betrayed her.“Stop. Please.” She pleaded. “You’re right, Signora Farfalla. I shouldn’t be Ladybug. If I can’t protect myself. Then how am I going to protect all of Paris? How am I going to protect the one I love?” Chat blushed a little. “You know what Lila?” Lila froze.
“What did you say?” Lila said angrily. Glaring at her.
“Whoops did I accidentally say your true identity?” Ladybug smirked. She could see Chat panicking and praying that she didn’t die. Lila walked over. She pointed the knife at Ladybug’s chest.
“Are you giving me sass?” Ladybug just smiled. Lila thrusted the knife into Ladybug’s chest. The whole world froze. Lila took the knife out. And Ladybug fell.
…………………..
Chat watched as Ladybug’s body fell and the blood spilled out of the wound. Tears started to flood Chat’s vision. He sat there staring at the body. He’d… he’d just sat there and watched her die. He couldn’t have done anything. He was helpless. Chat screamed in grief. He pulled his hands out of the butterfly holds. Then he launched himself at Lila. Breaking the foot holds. Then he pulled out his stick and struck Lila in the back, sending her flying. She crashed against one of the metal poles. Then she pulled out her staff and stood up.
Chat was full on crying now. “YOU LITTLE BITCH! YOU KILLED MILADY!” He ejected the knife tool in his stick and he sprinted towards Lila trying to stab her. But she blocked his stick and threw him backwards. He instantly flung himself again at Lila. This time cutting her thigh. She grunted. Then she cut his shoulder and attempted to throw him off the beam. He held on. “CATACLYSM!” The beam crumpled into a pile of ashes. Chat fell down and hit the concrete. His back stinged a little but he instantly got back up. Lila on the other hand sat there. She was staring at Ladybug’s body which was now on the ground next to her.
Chat ran towards Lila but she grabbed Ladybug’s body and pulled out the knife. Chat stopped. “If you take another step I’ll kill her once and for all.” Chat looked at Ladybug and noticed she was ever so slightly moving. The healing thing, right. Her hair had that weird thing again where the tips were glowing light blue. Chat took a step back. Then another. Then he stood there. Lila stared at him.
Chat launched himself at Lila, cutting her cheek. He punched her in the face. And grabbed Ladybug. Then he ran.
…………………..
Chat dragged Ladybug’s body into an alley. Then he cradled her fragile body in his arms. He brushed the hair away from her face. Blood was dripping onto his suit. But he didn’t care. He started crying, the tears hitting her face. He brought her head to his chest and held it. Chat felt Ladybug’s hand move. Then her eyes fluttered open. He smiled and cried more. “Nothing can kill you, Milady.” He muttered. Ladybug’s hand moved to wipe away his tears.
“Why are you crying?” She said quietly, like she could barely talk.
“I was scared.” Chat pulled Ladybug closer. She nuzzled her face into his shoulder.
“You looove me.” Ladybug said giggling sleepily. Chat smiled then nuzzled his face into her hair. He could feel her breathing slowing down. He looked at her and saw she had fallen asleep. She must have been tired. He brushed her hair away again. And kissed her forehead. Maybe they could just sit here for a while.
…………………..
Ladybug woke to sirens. She looked around. Seeing a police car zooming by. She was confused. She had no memory of going to an alleyway. She looked up and saw Chat’s sleeping face. She blushed. This was really close. She looked down and saw her chest was bloody but there was no wound. What had happened? Had Chat gotten hurt? Where was Signora Farfalla? Chat rustled around. Then he whimpered. She looked up and saw him crying. She wiped the tears away. And started rubbing his hair. He purred a little then fell silent again.
Ladybug quietly and slowly lifted herself off his lap. And sat next to him. He fell over and started resting in her lap. She sighed. She saw someone standing in the opening of the alleyway. She jumped. And Chat stirred. “Who… w who’s there?!” The person stepped into the light. Ladybug relaxed. It was just Rena Rouge.
“Ladybug! I’ve been looking all over for you! I was so worried they’d already got you or you were dead!” Rena exclaimed, running towards Ladybug.
“Who’s after me? And why would I be dead?” Chat whimpered again. What the hell is he dreaming about?
“Have you not heard?”
“No, I've been asleep.”
“Ah. Well Lila murdered or kidnapped Mayor Bourgeois, we’re not quite sure which one. And now she’s taken over Paris and sent the Police after any other miraculous holder than her. Especially you two… is Chat noir okay?” Ladybug looked down and found Chat hugging a rock. She tried taking the rock but he bit her hand.
“Yah… I don’t think so.” Rena laughed. Chat eyes fluttered open. He quickly sat up. And pulled out his stick.
“Who’s there?” He said groggily, his words a little slurred. He fell backwards and curled up on Ladybug’s lap. Rena started laughing even more. Ladybug started rubbing his hair and he purred.
“So we’re basically wanted criminals now?” Rena nodded, serious once again. “Great” Ladybug grumbled.
“It might be a bad time but they also searched everyone’s homes…” Ladybug looked at Rena.
“What?”
“They might not have gotten to your house yet…” Ladybug got up. Chat’s head hitting the ground. He woke up confused. Ladybug ran out of the alleyway as fast as she could.
“Ladybug?!” Chat yelled.

Doodle’s Short Stories: Nightmares
Hello everyone it’s Doodle here. I recently started a new stories series called Doodle’s Short Stories where I will post short stories based off the recent episodes of Miraculous Ladybug. This will be different from the one shots and multiple partners I plan to post here as those will be more AU like. Meanwhile these stories will align with the recent episodes. In addition these short stories will have themes that will be listed with each story.
So here’s the fourth and final installment of this series with the theme of nightmares: Invisible.
Also available on Wattpad
Here’s are the previous stories in this collection:
The Limited Truth , The Vistor & I Don’t Want This
Theme: Nightmares
Invisible
Up above, the Parisian sky was painted with shades of deep purple and red. It happened again, things had turned for the worst for the city of Paris. Literal corruption has spread through the city bleeding into its citizens. In the streets down below the majority of the citizens were causing havoc. The citizens ran wild with blue sickly veins and red scars that had marked on their skin. Each step they took, their bodies dragged in pain as the destruction inflicted on the city was brought by their own hands. Windows were being broken into with bricks, cars were being run off the road, fist fights on the streets and random pits of fire were being lit throughout the city releasing big billows of black smoke.
The few innocents that were left tried to hide for their own safety but there were still the unlucky ones. The unlucky ones would be scratched and scarred by the corrupted individuals becoming one themselves. The city that was known for love was becoming the city of the commended and deprived. Like all disasters that hung over the city were Shadow Moth’s doing. Somehow he had manifested the magic of the butterfly miraculous and peacock miraculous out of their respective items releasing it onto the city without an akuma or an amoak.
Soon as it reached human contact the citizens were overwhelmed with hyper thoughts and emotions driving to violence and destruction. This was Shadow Moth’s ultimate attack; the sky and ground was claimed by him. The only thing that was left was the in-between.
The in-between was for the heroes.
In the midst of it all Chat Noir stood on the rooftop of the College Francoise DuPont with all the other active miraculous heroes looking over at their city with concern: Rena Rouge, Carapace, Vesperia, Ryuko, Viperion, Polymouse, Pegasus, King Monkey, Pigella, Purple Tigress and Bunnix. All of them being gathered for the fight of the century. Ladybug stood in front of the anxious cleaning her throat, gaining their attention.
“Thank you all for gathering here, sadly I wish this was for a more uplifting occasion,” said Ladybug. “But it’s clear from what is happening below us, is it not trivial.”
Chat Noir nodded in agreement while the rest of the crowd stood still, unfazed.
“It’s clear that damage control needs to be put in place to keep things from getting worse,” the spotted heroine continued.
“We need to remove the unaffected citizens from the city and contain the commended before the population triples. Who’s with me!”
The crowd roared in unison holding up their weapons in solidarity.
“Good! I already divided everyone into two teams. The first team is Team One which is for recuse,” Ladybug told the crowd. “This includes Pigella, Polymouse and Pegasus. Your goal is to remove many unaffected people you can and get them out of the city. Pegasus you need to use your portal power to move them to the outskirts of the city. Far enough out to be out of danger but not the middle of nowhere. Do you three understand?”
Pegasus, Polymouse and Pigella nodded with comprehension.
Ladybug then looked over at the rest of the young heroes of the group. “The rest of you are Team Two: combat. That means fighting off the condemned. Luckily from first hand experience I learned that the condemned magic does not affect miraculous users. So all of you should be safe. Do you all understand?”
The remaining heroes nodded, confirming with the bug.
“Great,” the spotted heroine slid open her yoyo and started to tap the screen.
“Reports say that the majority of the attacks are at The Eiffel Tower so start there and work around. Meanwhile my partner and I have our own set of plans to locate Shadow Moth.”
Plans? Chat Noir thought as a confused look crossed his face. Ladybug and I haven’t talked about any plans. I guess she will fill me in on the way, like usual.
“Alright let’s go!” Ladybug told her teams. “Disperse!”
All the appointed heroes leaped off the rooftop leaving with their assignments.
Chat Noir approached Ladybug. “Okay Bugaboo, so what are these plans that you speak of? Like I always say it’s me and you against the world.”
However Ladybug didn’t respond; she instead walked forward toward Rena Rouge. The only reserve hero that didn’t leave the rooftop on Ladybug’s command.
“So are you ready Rena?” Ladybug asked, approaching her.
“Definitely,” the fox nodded. “I’m here to help.”
“Oh, Rena Rouge is coming with us?” Chat Noir approached the two heroines. “That’s cool but I thought you said partner not partners.”
“According to our research all the clues point to Shadow Moth’s lair being underground,” Ladybug tapped her yoyo screen.
“Research?” Chat asked Ladybug. “We never did any research. Wait, are you two keeping secrets from me? Again!”
The cat narrowed his emerald green eyes at the spotted heroine. However Ladybug didn’t seem a bit phased as she didn’t reply.
“Agree,” Rena Rouge nodded. “It seems that it might be the sewers as the subway would be too public.”
“You got a point,” Ladybug smiled proudly. “You’re literally a genius.”
“Hey LB when you are dressed like this,” Rena Rouge winked. “You have to be clever as a fox.”
Ladybug started to laugh like it was the funniest thing that she had ever heard. “Good one Rena!”
“Hey you barely ever laugh at my jokes!” Chat Noir yelled. “Hers wasn’t even that funny! Also LB? I was planning to use that nickname for Ladybug! I was just waiting for the right time Rena!”
But the heroines just looked at each as if the cat’s little outburst was on mute.
“The only problem with my theory is that the sewers are so big,” the fox told the bug. “It would take forever and that is if I’m even right.”
“WHAT IS GOING ON HERE?” the cat screamed. “WHY ARE YOU TWO IGNORING ME? IS THIS A PRANK OR SOMETHING!?”
But Ladybug still was unfazed. “ No problem, my yoyo has a holographic map of the sewers and heat sensor. Once we are down there the map will show if he’s there.”
“Wow you’re yoyo can really do everything,” said Rena Rouge.
“That’s the perks of being the guardian,” said Ladybug.
“Wait, did you just tell her your guardianship?” Chat Noir asked. “I thought that was going to be kept between the two of us.”
But Ladybug simply didn’t respond.
The cat’s face started to become hot and flushed with frustration. “I thought nothing was going to change between us. I guess I was wrong.”
“Hey Mini-Bug!” someone called out.
Chat turned around to see Bunnix walking toward them.
“Bunnix, I’m so glad that you are here!” Chat Noir told her. “Can you make those two talk to me? Was it something I did today without realizing it?”
But Bunnix didn’t respond and literally walked right through him like he was a vapor mist.
“What just happened?” the cat asked, astonished looking at his hands. “Did she just walk through me?”
“So what are your plans for me?” Bunnix asked Ladybug.
“For right now I want you to fall back but still keep an eye on things,” the bug instructed. “Shadow Moth doesn’t know you’re back and I want to keep it that way. So you’re our wildcard especially since you know how this ends, don’t you?”
“No spoilers. Burrow!” the rabbit heroine smiled. She opened up her burrow and stepped inside. “But I will be on call.”
The burrow closed as Chat Noir waved his hands in Ladybug’s face. Then made a fist, but she did even flinch. He then tried to grab her hand but his fingers slipped right through her.
“No, this can be happening,” Chat shook his head in denial. “What I’m I? A ghost? Invisible?”
“This is looking bad, Rena,” Ladybug looked up at the purple and red sky. “We should go.”
“No, please don’t leave. Something happened to me. Ladybug, I’m sure that you can fix it,” Chat Noir begged. “Just say something to let me know that you heard me. Anything that you can hear me, that I exist, that you hate me, say something. Please!”
“I think you are right,” Rena Rouge looked at the sky. “We should, but I’m just a little nervous about this.”
“Rena! Say something to me!” the cat begged. “It can anything that I’m stupid and annoying. That I’m ugly or you’re a better partner for Ladybug. Just acknowledge me!”
“You will be fine, Rena,” Ladybug put her hands on the fox’s shoulders. “Remember Heroes’ Day when you teamed up with me, Carapace and Queen B. You did fine then so you will do fine now. So let’s go, partner.”
“CAN ONE OF YOU TWO LOOK AT ME!” Chat Noir screamed at them.
Rena Rouge smiled. “Okay, partner.”
The two heroines leapt off the building presuming going to the sewers to search for Shadow Moth. Chat Noir cried out for them in the distance. With tears in his eyes and face burning bright red. Multiple somber thoughts were running through his mind.
“I got to follow them,” he scrambled around pulling out his staff. “Something must have happened if they couldn’t see or hear me. They would have said something if they could, right? Right?”
However that little query struck him with doubt leaving enough space for someone else to worm into his mind. Without warning he felt his own willpower being surpassed.
A familiar sinister voice started to rattle in his brain.
“Hello Chat Blanc...”
Suddenly Adrien opened his eyes, rising up in his bed as he was about to scream. However he looked around seeing his desk, couch, television and foosball table. Then looked at Plagg who was resting at the foot of his bed.
“It was just a dream...” Adrien rubbed the sleep from his eyes, seeing that he was dressed in his pajamas: a green short sleeve shirt and red plaid pajamas bottoms. “Nope, definitely a nightmare.”
He laid back flat on his bed staring at the ceiling hoping to fall back to sleep. But after half an hour he knew he couldn’t do it. Adrien sprang out of bed with the fear of that nightmare clung onto him.
“Plagg, claws out!” said Adrien.
He transformed into Chat Noir then jumped out of his opened bedroom window hitting the nearby rooftops. The cat figured this would be the best way to blow off some steam. Eventually he started to slow down, stopping on the rooftop of College Francoise DuPont. He sat down at the end of the roof letting his legs dangle.
Thoughts and questions were swirling in his mind about what he had learned from Nino. All the secrets that he hasn’t been a part of. Things between him and her weren’t supposed to change.
But clearly he had just been too oblivious to notice.
The cat started to sing softly to himself, watching the sun rise up. 🎶Little kitty on a rooftop, all alone without his lady....🎶
The End.
Thanks for reading! 😊

Higurashi: When They Cry AU: Confusion Arc
Summary: Satoshi murdered his aunt.... Didn’t he? Satoshi struggles with what is real and isn’t as his friends try to help him. Only one person can truly put his mind at ease: Keiichi Maebara
CH.2: A Place to Stay (Previous CH.)
Tumblr media
Satoshi walked silently with Keiichi, retracing his steps. Keiichi seemed awfully quiet, and Satoshi knew something was wrong. “Hey Maebara-san,” Satoshi started, slowing his pace down.
“You can call me Keiichi, y’know,” Keiichi said, also slowing his pace, “Everyone else does.” Satoshi felt his face flush, and he nodded. “What is it?”
“Why are you still helping me?” Satoshi asked sincerely. “It’s been a few hours, and we still haven’t found it, I’m sure someone took it…”
“Your uncle is mad at you for losing it, right?” Keiichi asked, and Satoshi looked at him in surprise. How did he know his uncle was upset? Satoshi quickly thought back to what little conversation they had while looking, and he was sure nothing he said should have given Keiichi the impression that his uncle was upset. So how did he know? Satoshi came to the conclusion that he must’ve been an open book, that or Keiichi was great at reading people. Maybe it was both. “Anyways, I figure you’ll be in more trouble if you go home without it.” Keiichi finished, looking down to the ground. Satoshi was quiet for a moment, before smiling.
“You really are a nice person Maeba- Keiichi.” Satoshi corrected himself, and Keiichi beamed at him.
“Let’s keep looking. We still have a little time before we need to head back for dinner.” Keiichi said, beginning to walk again. Satoshi frowned, staying in place.
“Maybe you should just head home, I don’t want you to miss dinner, and this is definitely a lost cause.” Satoshi said, he would just have to walk around for the rest of the night, and then hopefully get some sleep at school the next day.
“Why’re you trying to get rid of me?” Keiichi asked, “You’ve been telling me to go home since we left my house.” Satoshi shook his head.
    “It’s just…” Satoshi began, “I really don’t think we’ll find it.”
“I’m going to keep looking as long as you are!” Keiichi said, with determination in his voice. “Plus, you’re coming home with me, you’re staying for dinner, remember?” Keiichi asked, and Satoshi felt his cheeks heat up again. Why was he blushing so much?
“Then you’re going to be looking all night. I can’t go home until I have his money.” Satoshi mumbled, kicking a rock on the dirt road. Keiichi frowned.
“He kicked you out for losing your wallet?” Keiichi asked, the anger clear in his voice. Satoshi winced at his tone, looking up. Keiichi took a deep breath, calming himself. He knew he should be more careful with his words and his emotions, Satoshi didn’t know he knew, and Mion had asked him to keep quiet about it.
“Yeah…. I guess.” Satoshi admitted, “It should all blow over in the morning, I was still hoping I’d find my wallet before nightfall but..” Satoshi looked at the sky, the sun setting. “That doesn’t seem likely.”
“... C’mon. You’re right, we aren’t going to find it. Let’s head home.” Keiichi said, turning and walking in the other direction. When he didn’t hear footsteps behind him, he looked back. “I already told my mom you were staying, so she made extra food.” Satoshi sighed, finally giving in, he walked towards Keiichi.
“Do you like this village?” Satoshi suddenly asked as they walked, taking Keiichi by surprise.
“Yeah… I think so. I like you, and Mion, Rena, Rika, Satoko too.” Keiichi said, putting his hands behind his head and stretching a little. “I never had friends like this in the city.” He finished. “What about you?” Keiichi asked, and Satoshi shrugged.
“I used to… But now there are a lot of bad memories here.” Satoshi said softly.
“Are you talking about the Dam War?” Keiichi asked, and Satoshi nodded.
“It feels like that stupid war took everything from me, and still is.” Satoshi explained. “My parents… When they died, I blamed this entire village.” Satoshi continued, Keiichi nodded. “It felt like they pushed them into a corner, until the only way out was…” Satoshi trailed off, clenching his hands into fists. “Now I feel like Satoko and I are being pushed into the same corner.” Satoshi said. “Most folks don’t like us because of our parents. You’re a nice change of pace.” Satoshi said. “I wish everyone could see we aren’t the enemy.”
“Don’t worry, I’ll help you.” Keiichi assured, and Satoshi tilted his head in confusion. “I’ll show everyone that you and Satoko aren’t your parents. That their choices had nothing to do with you.” Satoshi smiled, he couldn’t help but believe Keiichi when he said those words, he sounded so sure. Satoshi had to admit it would be nice not to be hated.
“Thank you very much!” Satoshi said, a wide smile spreading across his face. Keiichi had given him a sense of hope, something he hadn’t felt in a long time. Even if Keiichi couldn’t get everyone to stop hating him, in that moment Satoshi thought he wouldn’t mind as long as Keiichi liked him. Keiichi blushed, quickly turning away from him.
“Errr, uhh! Yeah no problem! Really….” Keiichi scratched his head, trying to hide his embarrassment. His heart was thumping wildly in his chest, had Satoshi’s smile done this? His genuine smile was so warm. Keiichi decided he would do anything to keep that smile on his face. “We’re almost back, I’ll race you!” Keiichi said, silently patting himself on the back for his quick thinking. If they ran, then he could blame the red face, heart racing, and sweaty palms on that! “Loser has to do the dishes!” Satoshi laughed a little, and broke out into a jog. Keiichi quickly followed, making sure to keep his pace slow. He wanted Satoshi to win. Keiichi wanted to help him be happy, even if his home life was awful, Keiichi would do his best every day from now on to help Satoshi smile. Really smile. Maybe once he had seen it enough, he wouldn’t get so flustered, but something in the back of Keiichi’s mind told him otherwise.
While Keiichi washed the dishes and Satoshi dried, they made small talk. “Then milk came right out of Mion’s nose!” Satoshi laughed, and Keiichi snorted, handing him a plate.
“Man! I wish I could’ve seen that!” Keiichi said, chuckling softly as Satoshi dried the plate and put it away.
“I could probably get her to do it again,” Satoshi said, before a frown appeared on his face. “Once Satoko is back, that is.” Keiichi felt his face fall too. He could tell how much Satoshi missed his little sister, and was determined not to hang out with the club until she could too.
“Hey, maybe you can make milk come out of her nose too!” Keiichi joked, handing him the last plate, and Satoshi smiled, drying it and putting it away.
“Yeah, maybe…” Satoshi said sadly, and Keiichi let the conversation drop, not wanting to cause him any more distress. “I should probably get going now..” Satoshi said, and Keiichi reached out and grabbed his arm, shaking his head.
“Actually, just wait here a second.” Keiichi said, running out of the room. A few moments later he came back, a wide smile on his face. Satoshi tilted his head.
“Is everything alright?” Satoshi asked, and Keiichi grinned widened.
“Better than alright,” Keiichi said, grabbing his arm and pulling him towards the stairs. “You’re staying here tonight.” Keiichi said as they ascended the stairs.
“Wait, I am?” Satoshi asked, confusion clear on his face.
“And every night you need to until you can go home.” Keiichi said, opening the door to his room. Satoshi stood in the entryway, nervously fidgeting.
“Uh, are you sure? I really don’t want to impose, and like I said it should all be fine by morning.” Satoshi said, as Keiichi pulled out an extra futon from his closet.
“Then you’ll stay until morning.” Keiichi said simply, “My parents said you can stay as long as you need.” Keiichi explained, sighing. He walked towards the door and grabbed Satoshi’s arm, pulling him inside. “What? Did you think I was going to let you sleep outside?” Keiichi asked, and Satoshi stared.
“I don’t know what to say..” Satoshi said quietly, as Keiichi shoved a blanket into his hands.
“You don’t have to say anything,” Keiichi replied, smiling. “This is what friends are for. They help each other.” Keiichi said. “I know if I were in your situation, you’d let me stay the night, right?” Keiichi asked.
Satoshi laughed, a darkness lurked under it. “I don’t think you’d want to stay.” Satoshi said, “You’d probably prefer to sleep outside.” Keiichi felt his heart ache, how bad was Satoshi’s home life exactly? Keiichi started for a moment at Satoshi’s  injuries and sighed, pretty bad he guessed.
“I’m sorry! I didn’t mean to sound like I wouldn’t let you stay!” Satoshi quickly said when he saw Keiichi’s sad expression. “Of course you could stay if you needed to!” Satoshi assured, and Keiichi smiled a little.
“Thanks. It’s good to know you have my back,” Keiichi said, adding on, “And I have yours.” Satoshi blushed. Even though the two of them hadn’t interacted much since Keiichi moved to Hinamizawa, Satoshi felt closer to Keiichi than the rest of the club. Maybe it was the aura that Keiichi had, one that screamed ‘Hey, you can trust me!’ Satoshi felt like he and Keiichi had been close friends for years rather than just a day, and he secretly hoped Keiichi felt the same way.
After the two got ready for bed, and Satoshi borrowed some of Keiichi’s pajamas, they laid down in the dark room. Satoshi brought the collar of the shirt up to his nose and breathed in, the smell of freshly washed laundry reminded him of better times. Satoshi stared at the ceiling, his mind racing. Tomorrow he would have to go back home and face his uncle, who would still be pissed at him for not having the money, but tonight he was safe with Keiichi, and with that final thought Satoshi drifted into the first truly restful sleep he had in weeks.

Thoughts on Higurashi Gou Ep14
haha wow I love dying and being dead :’))) [and also being totally wrong about some of my theories]
Thoughts under the cut.
OK so i guess I was wrong about at least some of my theories of what went down in Tataridamashi, and Rena was actually being totally accurate about what happened, lol.
It’s still kind of ambiguous, though, and I don’t want to jump to too many conclusions about what might have happened. Like, it comes across like it was actually Ooishi who attacked Keiichi, but in that case it’d be kinda weird to have him show up at the festival first and then have Satoko show up several minutes later, when she ran out of the house during Keiichi and probably-not-Teppei’s fight scene. I wouldn’t be surprised if Ooishi had actually come from killing someone like Takano and Tomitake instead, but the fact that he was using a baseball bat is pretty specific, so I dunno.
Mostly I just don’t really know what motive Ooishi would have for killing Keiichi. At least with the festival murder spree you could argue that he just wanted to kill Rika, and everything else was just him trying to prevent anyone from getting in his way. But Keiichi got lured away from the festival on his own, so if Ooishi attacked him, he must have had a really good reason for it.
But they intentionally don’t really explain anything about what the fuck Ooishi was thinking or planning at that point, so who even knows what was going on with him. All we know is that, like with Mion in Watadamashi, he somehow became convinced that Rika was behind everything, and he also super obviously had gone full L5 by that point. The timing of it makes it seem like he got injected like what happened with Tomitake in the VNs, but I wouldn’t be surprised if he’d actually been going slowly L5 over the course of the arc, and something just pushed him over the edge.
In a lot of ways this makes Satoko seem even more suspicious, especially since it seems that she really did just run away from the house and go back to the festival, but I still don’t really like any theories to do with her being the new mastermind.
Anyway, it looks like we’re more or less in answer arc territory now, with the focus shifting to Rika’s POV as she begins actively trying to solve the mystery with a new set of abilities and clues at her disposal.
I still think that Gou will just be 24 episodes long, but Rika talking about giving herself a roadmap of five more loops before she gives up makes me wonder if they’re setting the stage for a second season. It’s entirely possible that she won’t actually go through five whole loops before the show ends, though, and maybe some of the next loops will only be an episode or two long. So it might not mean much.
If anything it kinda feels like we’re in a position where it’d be difficult to fill out an entire second season after this, but on the other hand it’s hard to imagine the story wrapping up with only ten more episodes. It’s possible that if we get a second season it’d only be one cour long, but I doubt it. Either way, I’m going to continue basing my theories around the assumption that we won’t get a second season, just to play it safe.
I’ve been wondering for ages how the sword is going to come up and play into the story, since it was the biggest question mark out of all the new stuff in Gou, and this episode sure laid that whole plot point out once and for all, lol. It almost felt kinda info-dump-y, but it’s still nice to finally have an idea of what the hell’s going on with it.
So basically the gist of it is that there was indeed a sword in the statue, and apparently it’s important because it has the ability to permanently end the life of someone with time travel powers. Rika needs to obtain the sword so she can somehow use it to put an end to these loops, but someone’s already stolen the sword, with a single shard of it being left behind inside the statue.
Sadly Hanyuu just peaced out before actually explaining much of anything to Rika, so it’s hard to tell exactly what her goal is meant to be here. I’m not even sure if we’re meant to think that Hanyuu was talking about the idea of there being a second looper that Rika needs to kill, or if she was just presenting it as a way for Rika to kill herself once and for all if she wants to. But in general it definitely feels like the story is setting up for the idea of there being a second looper who Rika has to discover the identity and motives of.
There’s still a lot of mysteries surrounding the sword, but this at least proves that Rika had nothing to do with it in the previous loops, and maybe didn’t even really know that it existed, or that there was anything special about it. It’s also noteworthy that in this new loop, the sword had already been stolen at the very start of the loop, which makes it more likely that it’s something that happens before the start of every loop. So I’m still going along with my theory that this implies that there’s some kind of fundamental ‘retcon’ going on with the history of the game board, where a third party has gone back and changed stuff in the past from before where Rika can loop back to.
Since this arc seems to be all from Rika’s POV now that we’re fully on her side of the story now, it just makes it increasingly more weird and suspicious that she’s continuing to do nothing about the whole Takano situation. She asked about Tomitake’s whereabouts at the festival, but that’s something she would have done in the VN before she found out about Takano being evil, so that doesn’t say much. But now that we’re fully in her POV, it’s more weird than ever to see her being completely despondent about the entire situation when she doesn’t seem to be doing anything about Takano.
I’m still not entirely convinced about it, but it really does feel like she doesn’t actually know about Takano being evil. It’s possible that she’s somehow already caught onto the idea that things are fundamentally different now and that Takano’s not the villain anymore, but I don’t think it’d actually make sense for her to reach that conclusion at this stage. That’s more of a meta thing for the audience to think about. It might still just be a bit of clunky writing where Ryukishi’s trying not to spoil or overwhelm new fans by having Rika start talking about endgame plot stuff from the VN, but at this point I think it’d just be hurting the story if that’s what’s going on.
Anyway, now that we know what the overall point of the sword is, it makes me wonder why someone other than Rika would have already stolen it. I guess it was probably just the hypothetical second looper who stole it, either to preemptively screw over Rika, or to use as a weapon against her. Though there’s still the fact that there haven’t really been any clues about the sword being used for anything in the story yet, so there’s not many clues to go off of to try and guess what happened to it.
Though it does make me wonder if maybe in Watadamashi, Takano found the shard of the sword in the statue when she went back to inspect the statue again. I don’t really know what she would have done with it, or even thought about it, though, even if she’s still evil like in the VN. Maybe she knows about the sword and it’s importance from studying Hinamizawa’s history and myths, but I dunno.
Also, at this point it almost feels like they’re fucking with us, with how blatant the Umineko tie-in stuff is getting, lol. Hanyuu chipping her horn as a result of giving Rika the extra ability to remember everything from each loop feels like a giant neon sign point toward her connection to Featherine. I also have to wonder if this new situation Rika’s stuck in is meant to be what Lambda was talking about when she referred to Rika’s master abandoning her within a logic error. That still might just refer to the VN’s version of events, but with Hanyuu chipping her horn here, it comes across like Ryukishi’s using Gou as a way to directly establish Bern’s whole backstory from Umineko, so I wouldn’t be surprised if the logic error stuff also refers to Gou’s loop, rather than the VN. And even though Hanyuu did in her own way push all the responsibility of solving the mystery to Rika in the VN, she did straight up disappear in this episode and leave Rika to solve things on her own, so there’s that.
The focus on Rika’s depression in this episode also gives me major Bernkastel vibes. Her talking about being completely alone, the crushing horror of always worrying that she’ll get dragged back into the endless hell of the loop, and saying that if she can’t solve the mystery in five more loops she’ll give up all hope, all feel like it’s in line with Bernkastel’s whole attitude in Umineko. Of course that would imply that Gou will end with Rika ‘losing’ and giving up hope, if this is really meant to set up for Umineko’s whole story, which would be really depressing, but at this point I wouldn’t be too surprised if Gou just straight up has a depressing ending like that.
With how much it feels like Gou is heading towards being a Bernkastel origin story of sorts, I still feel like it’d be really lame if this isn’t setting the stage for some kind of Umineko anime remake. People could just go back and read the Umineko VN after this, but that’d just make Gou feel kinda incomplete in and of itself. It’d make more sense if it leads into an Umineko anime remake afterward that can serve as an indirect sequel to Gou.
And since Gou also seems like it’s going to clarify the connection between Hanyuu and Featherine, with what happened in this episode, I’m still wondering if Gou will also end up getting into Lambda’s whole origin story. It’d feel kinda weird at this point not to have her be relevant to Gou, if they’re going this far to set things up with Bern and Featherine.
I still don’t know how I feel about the Satoko looper theory, but it’d make sense if we find out that Lambda has given her the blessing of certainty in this new loop, for some reason or another. I at least think the only real way to incorporate Lambda into Gou without being totally confusing and alienating to new fans would be to tie her to Satoko, one way or another.
I don’t think Gou would end up getting too deep into the witch stuff, but I’d be interested to see how it’d play out if the story really does end up revolving around Featherine, Bern, and Lambda. I still think that might be something that new fans would actually be more willing to go along with than old fans, lol. With how much it risks alienating old Higurashi fans who don’t like the idea of it getting blended too much with stuff from Umineko, it makes me hope that they’re going to go the whole nine yards with this, and that they’re setting up for a full Umineko anime remake.
Anyway, I’m really curious to see how the rest of Gou is going to play out now that it looks like we’re following Rika’s POV now. I’m really curious to see if they can actually pull off a satisfying ending in just ten more episodes, since there seem to still be so many mysteries to solve at the moment, and Gou hasn’t even really touched upon the stuff with Takano and the GHD yet.
Though I actually think that if Gou has a really depressing and potentially inconclusive ending that sets up Bernkastel’s origin story and paves the way for Umineko, that might make it a lot easier for them to get to that point in just ten more episodes. It might piss a lot of people off, but maybe it’ll just end in an intentionally unresolved manner, with Rika completely losing hope and having her Bern persona split off into it’s own being that ascends into being a witch on the meta plane.
I know a lot of people don’t like the idea of this tying heavily into Umineko stuff, but with this sort of episode in particular it really feels like that’s where things are heading, lol. But we’ll see how it goes.
Also, even though this episode mostly just focused on Rika’s POV, I’m really intrigued by the hint toward Mion having access to the keys to the part of the school where the septic tank seems to be. That feels like a big hint toward the idea that she was the one who put Rika’s body there in Watadamashi, but I guess maybe anyone could have stolen the keys from the faculty office or something. It still feels like an intentional hint about that mystery from Watadamashi, though.
This episode also didn’t have the new ED yet, even though they’ve already announced it, so I guess they’re saving it for the next episode. At this point I think they’re only changing the ED, since I don’t think they’ve announced a new OP, and the OP’s visuals clearly relate to Gou’s story as a whole, and not just the first half.
I’m also still waiting to see if the rumored subtitle change happens at some point soon. It might end up being related to a hypothetical second season, but I still think we won’t get one.

The Plagues
Marinette paced back and forth in her room, pulling at her pigtails. “Tikki, the akumas have been getting stronger, more dangerous. What if I’m not able to fix all the damage after every fight? What if I fail the next time? Chat is trying to help, but the two of us aren't enough. Hawkmoth keeps getting stronger!" Tikki looked at her chosen with an encouraging gaze, flying in front of her face. "Marinette! You've been getting stronger too!" She pointed out in her cheerful voice. Marinette groaned, "But Tikki, we can't keep fighting the akumas and just hoping that one day Hawkmoth will just stop sending them. We haven't come any closer to finding out who Hawkmoth is and Paris keeps getting hit with disaster after disaster. Sure, some akumas don't make a lot of damage but..." Marinette trailed off, her face growing pained as she remembered the worst ones. "Like Syren and Frozer... And Chat Blanc..." Tikki's smile faded, "Marinette... Chat Blanc never happened here. You made sure of that." "I know, but it did happen once. And we saw how that turned out. We can't let that happen. We can't keep letting Hawkmoth terrorize all of Paris. But what can we do?" Marinette sighed, not noticing Tikki staring at her with a saddened expression.
Tikki knew what she had in mind was drastic. Reckless even. She was honestly surprised that she was going to suggest it even though that Stinky Sock's style, not hers. But Marinette was right. They couldn't wait any longer to get rid of Hawkmoth especially since they were alone now. Marinette didn't have Master anymore and she was starting to crumble under the stress. "Um... Marinette...?" Tikki called softly, snapping the girl out of her mumbling. Marinette turned to the kwami curiously, "Yes Tikki?" She asked before noticing the kwami's somber mood. "I have an idea, but I don't think you'll like it," Tikki admitted hesitantly. Marinette sat down in her computer chair and held her hands out for the kwami. Tikki floated over and rested herself in Marinette's palms, "What is it Tikki?" "Well, there was a time before when a miraculous had been taken and used for evil. It was the duty of the Ladybug at the time to get it back and nothing else worked. She tried everything that she could, every other miraculous. In teams, by herself, every idea but they never worked." Tikki looked down at her pads. "And then we came up with an idea. We would send a few tragedies out, each created to help Ladybug force the user out of their hiding place. Into the open where they could fight. We used our last trick, thinking that we could use the cure to fix everything. We found the miraculous and Ladybug went to fight them with her team. Sadly, in the final battle, my holder died before we could reverse all the damage. It was a catastrophic event." Tikki told her.
Marinette looked at Tikki worriedly, "What event?" Tikki shifted uncomfortably, "You might know it as... The Ten Plagues of Egypt." Marinette gasped and stared at her kwami wide-eyed, "What!?" "It was the only thing left we could try! And it worked, we just couldn't fix the damage. I knew you wouldn't like it, but you're the Guardian now Marinette. You should know every option available to you." Tikki looked up and managed to smile at her, "It's up to you if you want to use it Marinette. As long as you have your team with you and you're careful, we could get rid of all the damage." Marinette hesitated, "Tikki, I'm not sure that's a good idea..." She was also uncomfortable. Sure, all the damage would be fixed and everyone would come back to life, but... Would the city forgive her for it? She felt a tiny pad tough her cheek and she blinked. "It's okay Marinette. I just wanted to let you know." Tikki said before hugging her cheek. Marinette hugged her back before pulling away with a determined gaze, "Teach me how to do it." Tikki's eyes widened in surprise and she gasped, "Are you sure?" Marinette nodded firmly, "The safety of Paris comes first. If you're positive we can reverse the effects then it will be worth it. Even if no one forgives me." She added, her jaw clenching at the thought. Tikki stared at her for a moment before nodding, "Okay..."
Marinette had to wait until after an Akuma attack that had an Amok as well to make sure that Hawkmoth and Mayura were still in the area. After defeating the Akuma and Amok, she ran home to the miracle box and grabbed the fox, turtle, and bee miraculous. Moving to leave, she paused and felt a tugging back to the box. She looked back and opened it once again, taking out the snake, the monkey, the rabbit, and horse. "That's a lot of miraculous Marinette," Tikki observed. Marinette nodded, "I trust everyone to give them back. And we need to make sure everything goes smoothly so I can turn things back." Tikki hummed and nodded, "Okay." "Tikki! Spots on!" Ladybug looked down at herself, feeling different in her suit. She almost gasped in surprise when she saw herself. Her normal suit had added armor pieces on her forearms, legs, and chest. She reached up and felt her hair, it was still tied back, but felt more secure with the small braids keeping her bangs away from her face. She looked down at her yoyo and noticed that it too had changed too. Unlike the softer edges it had before with it's more rounded form, it was now thinner, sleeker, and the ends looked almost like blades. "I guess you weren't kidding Tikki..." She mumbled before steeling herself. This was going to be the final battle. She could only hope that everything would be okay.
Ladybug spent the next hour gathering her team and calling Chat to the Eiffel Tower. Once everyone was there and waiting for her plan, she started, "I had a conversation with my kwami about what we should do. And we have come to a decision. Tonight is the final battle." Ladybug's eyes gleamed dangerously, the seriousness of the situation starting to dawn on everyone. "I will be using power from my kwami herself and Hawkmoth and Mayura are going to try to stop me at any cost. Do not use your powers on any akumas that might come. Hawkmoth and Mayura will be forced out of their hiding and will come to fight us. We need everyone for the fight." Her eyes glanced over everyone. They all seemed nervous, "Milady... What are you going to do? You seem different." Chat spoke up, taking a step forward and looking at her curiously. The pain that entered her eyes set everyone on edge. "I will be evoking nine of the ten plagues of Egypt." Ladybug spoke calmly, closing her eyes as her team was sent into chaos. After a minute, she yelled out, "This is the only way!" They all silenced and stared at her with varying degrees of horror. "Hawkmoth has been sending stronger and stronger Akuma! The city has been flooded and thousands killed! Bunnix has shown me an Akuma that destroyed the entire world and the moon!" She yelled, her hands balling into fists. "We can not let him keep them any longer! We have to do this!" She shot a sharp glare around, "I don't want to do this anymore than any of you do, but it is our only choice! We don't know where he is, who he is, or why he wants the miraculous! Any damage will be reversed when I cast the cure like it always has."
"Paris won't forgive you." Someone said. Marinette didn't know who it was, but it hit her heart. Ladybug closed her eyes, "I know. But their safety is more important." After a few moments of silence, she felt a hand on her shoulder and she opened her eyes. Chat was smiling at her, "I trust you, milady." Rena and Carapace stepped forward as well, "We do too. For Paris!" The other heroes smiled and threw their fists into the air, "For Paris!" Ladybug slowly smiled, "For Paris." She agreed before looking at Chloe. Taking a step forward, she took her hands, surprising the worried blonde. "Don't worry Bee. No one should know it's you with your suit's changes." She reassured her. Chloe, or Red Wasp, blinked in surprise before smiling and hugging her, "Thanks Ladybug." Ladybug hugged her back before pulling back with a smile. "Everyone ready?" She asked, looking around. Grabbing their weapons, the team nodded and Viperion used his second chance just in case. Taking a deep breath, Ladybug stepped towards the edge of the platform and closed her eyes, taking her yoyo in her hands and pressing it to her forehead. The weapon started to glow, "I send a pestilence and plague into your house, into your bed, into your streams, into your streets, into your drink, into your bread." Ladybug chanted, holding onto the string of the glowing yoyo and letting it drop down slowly. As the yoyo touched the metal at her feet, all of the water in the city turned to blood. Fish died and frogs ran away from it, flooding the streets and waking the population near the Seine. All the food in the city started to rot. Then, there was a dark swarm of ladybugs flooding out from her yoyo.
"Upon your cattle, on your sheep, upon your oxen in your field, into your dreams, into your sleep, until you break, until you yield!" Ladybug's eyes snapped open, glowing like her yoyo. "I send the swarm, I send the horde. Thus said Ladybug." Around the city, the rest of the citizens woke up screaming by bugs crawling in their beds. Gabriel Agreste and Nathalie both awakened at the same time covered in ladybugs that were biting them nonstop. Gabriel jumped to his feet and tried to swat them off of him while Nathalie ran to her boss's room. "Mr. Agreste!" She called, knocking on the door. He opened it to see that Nathalie was also being covered in the pesky creatures. "Nathalie what is going on!?" Gabriel hissed as her. "I don't know sir, but I'll find out." She winced in pain as the biting continued. Pulling up the news on her tablet, she saw Nadja reporting from the Eiffel Tower. "This is Nadja Chamack reporting live from the base of the Eiffel Tower where it seems Ladybug and the entire miraculous team are. It seems that Ladybug and her yoyo are glowing while a swarm of ladybugs fly out of her yoyo. We don't know exactly what she is doing, but people have been waking up to frags in the streets, ladybugs covering everything, all of their food rotting, and the Seine is filled with blood! We haven't seen any akumas around yet, but I'm sure it will show up soon!" Nathalie remained quiet as she thought about what was going on.
"I haven't sent any Akuma to do this! What's going on Nathalie?!" Gabriel yelled. "Sir... I think Ladybug is calling down the plagues of Egypt." Nathalie spoke, looking a little confused. "What?" Gabriel rose an eyebrow. "I'm not sure, she shouldn't be able to do that, and based on her file, she shouldn't want to do it either. But if I am correct, next will be animals dying or running wild, then boils, fire and hail, locusts, three days of darkness..." Nathalie gasped as she came to a realization. Gabriel tapped his foot irritably, "What? What is it?" She looked at him in horror, "The last plague... The death of the firstborn." Gabriel's face changed from annoyance to horror, "Adrien..." "Sir, we have to stop her!" Nathalie insisted as Gabriel pushed past her and headed to his lair, "We will." He growled. Taking out his miraculous, he pinned it on and watched as Nooroo flew out. "Nooroo. Tell me, can the ladybug miraculous mimic the plagues?" Gabriel asked immediately. Nooroo gasped and their eyes widened, "They're using those?" "Nooroo! Answer me now!" Gabriel ordered with increasing anger. Nooroo nodded, "Yes master. The Ladybug is the one who treated the plagues. Any Ladybug can use them." "How do I stop her?" Gabriel glared at the annoying creature. Nooroo stared at Gabriel for a long time, expressionless. Gabriel wasn't afraid of the creature, but the look in its eyes made him uncomfortable and on edge. "Oh master..." Nooroo sighed and closed their eyes. "You can't stop the plagues once they've been called. Only a Ladybug can do that."
Ladybug had waited a few minutes to see if what she had already called was enough for Hawkmoth to come out. Sadly, with no sign of him nor an Akuma, she had to continue. " I send the thunder from the sky. I send the fire raining down.  I send the thunder from the sky. I send the fire raining down  I send the locusts on a wind. Such as the world has never seen. On ev'ry leaf, on ev'ry stalk until there's nothing left of green. I send my scourge, I send my sword. Thus saith Ladybug!" Ladybug chanted, raising a hand to the sky and creating a large black storm. From the center, cracks of thunder and lightning rang out and a swarm of locusts flew out. Then, the fire hail began and boils started to appear on only three people. Lila, Nathalie, and Gabriel. Luckily for Paris, Mayura and an akumatized Hawkmoth appeared along with dozens of akumas. Ladybug nodded only once and the team, minus Chat, lept from the tower and ran to fight the Akuma. "Shall we, Milady?" Chat asked, bowing slightly and holding a hand out to her. Ladybug turned to Chat and smiled, her eyes still glowing as she reached out and placed her hand in his. Chat sucked in a breath as power surged within him. His eyes and weapon started to glow as well and he let out a shutter at the odd feeling. "Let's go Chatton." Ladybug smiled and stepped off the tower, followed by Chat. The moment their feet hit the ground, the atmosphere changed. Hawkmoth and Mayura felt fear pierce them as the unfocused glowing eyes locked onto them. Then the battle truly started.
Thanks for reading everyone! This is my first fanfiction for miraculous ladybug that is normal. I typically write reader inserts. So sorry about any issues in the pacing or writing!

Chapter 30 – Free Day
Marinette brushed the wrinkles from the front of her gown while her mother and best friend fixed the veil that had been placed perfectly beneath the low bun. She looked into the mirror and eyed her hand crafted dress, ensuring that no stitch was out of place.
It was an empire waist chiffon dress with beaded lace throughout. It had thick lace straps that covered her back until it created a sweetheart neckline on her bust, plus additional lace trailing down her sides until it reached the corset strings on her back. Under her bust was a line of silver beads, separating the bust from the loose skirt that encouraged her swollen belly to protrude without being too obvious. She kept the hem low, allowing her to wear kitten pumps to give her some height without swelling up her sore feet.
It was a mix of glamor and comfort, and Marinette was excited that she was able to create this for herself.
She let out a nervous sigh and played with her necklace, before a comforting hand reached out to capture her palm and ran her small fingers across her knuckles.
“I remember how nervous I was at my wedding.” Sabine began and shot her daughter a sweet smile. Marinette sighed back and placed her free hand on her mother’s, relishing in the softness as her mother talked her down. “Your father stood at the front of the altar and fidgeted with his tie before he noticed I had already walked into the room. I was so nervous that I could feel the flowers shaking in my hands.” Marinette looked from her mother’s comforting gaze back down to her hands while she continued to speak. “The moment we gazed into each other’s eyes, the nerves left and it seemed like the clouds escaped bringing in that sunshine.”
Marinette smiled, tears ready to fall from her eyes. She placed a hand to her belly, feeling slightly stretched as she felt the flutters of her child move within her.
“That boy loves you so much. He already loves this baby so much. And we love him so… so much.” Sabine looked up at her with a sad smile, her heart breaking as she thought of Adrien. “He’s going to need all the love he can get right now.”
“Yeah…” Marinette sadly stated, thinking back to the chaos that ensued a week prior.
Hawkmoth’s takedown was completely bittersweet and unexpected. One afternoon after Marinette had left a prenatal appointment, she was on her way to see Adrien in the office when a fierce akuma had captured her and placed her in a gilded cage. When Adrien had heard the news and that Marinette was the one that was captured, he transformed into Chat Noir, but had gone completely feral at the thought of his fiance and unborn child being harmed.
Luckily, Marinette had decided to give the temporary heroes their miraculouses since she wasn’t able to fight. She would only transform to capture the akuma that Chat would bring to her in a safe area, but she would never leave Chat to fight the battles alone or without any backup.
Carapace, Rena Rouge, Queen Bee, Viperion, and Ryukko had all met up with Chat Noir on a hidden rooftop near the makeshift prison to create a plan to save her and defeat the akuma in tandem.
Chat had walked out first, flaunting and cracking jokes at the villain while the others took their positions in hidden spots in the area surrounding them. When the villain asked where Ladybug was, repeating whatever Hawkmoth had spoken to him through their connection, Chat quickly acknowledged that she was indisposed at the moment. He then finished his sassy monologue with a ‘not to worry’ and that ‘he would defeat the villain as always’.
Hawkmoth, apparently distraught over his plan slipping through the cracks before it even began, decided to come out of his lair and face the cat alone. The thought of thinking the battle would be over before it began crossed his mind, with overtaking and capturing Chat Noir to be used as bait to lure Ladybug out winning over his thoughts.
Little did he know that the rest of the team would come out and fight against the supervillain, beating him down until Chat removed the butterfly brooch from his neck. Seeing Gabriel Agreste detransform in front of his eyes caused rage and hostility from the cat, and Carapace had to shield Gabriel with Shelter to actually keep him safe and out of harm.
Queen Bee spoke out the words that no one wanted to say, admitting that Carapace should have let Chat attack him until police arrived. Carapace had to begrudgingly disagree with her thoughts while deep down inside he would have loved to see the attack against Gabriel, especially for all the shitty things Gabriel had done to Adrien over the years. Marinette could only hold her belly as Rena Rouge wrapped her arms around her in comfort, angry tears running down her cheeks at the thought of what was to come next.
Both Gabriel and Nathalie were in prison awaiting trial, and Marinette had spent every day with Adrien to comfort him in distress since that day. She would have called off the wedding and waited until he was mentally better from the ordeal, but Adrien insisted they should go on.
“He wasn’t worth having there anyways.” He told her sadly, yet she could feel the grief coursing through him. “The only family I need is here with you and our kitten.” He finished with his palm over her bump.
A knock on the door brought Marinette to the present, her hand still running soothing circles where she felt the flutters. Sabine pressed tissues to her face to stop the unintentional tears that ran down her cheeks and Alya brought over the makeup kit to fix any splotches that had appeared.
“I thought I was supposed to be the one to cry at these things.” Tom said softly, walking up to Marinette to take her hands.
Marinette looked up at her father and gave him a wet smile, a soft chuckle leaving her lips as she saw his sincere smile.
“Sorry, papa. Just thinking about Adrien.”
Tom pressed a kiss to the top of her head and beamed. “I will tell you this. That boy is so nervous, yet has the happiest smile on his face. You couldn’t even tell that his world fell apart a few days ago.”
A sigh of relief came out of her as Tom explained what he was doing in the other room with Nino. Apparently, Nino had given Adrien a shot of his aunt’s famous moonshine, causing Adrien to pucker his lips in distaste, while also simultaneously tripping over his feet as he tried to get a drink to wash away the aftertaste. Tom caught him before he landed face first onto the floor, and Nino could only hysterically laugh at Adrien’s expense as he brushed himself off.
“Nino is a good boy. He really cares for Adrien.”
“Yes, he does, Mr. D.” Alya laughed out and Marinette finally felt content enough to smile a real toothy grin.
“The ceremony is about to start. You ready?”
Marinette took one look in the mirror and let out one more anxious sigh. “Absolutely.”
----
Adrien cried the moment he noticed Marinette walk into the room. Nino had packed a plethora of tissues, just in case, and made the entire congregation laugh when he pulled one out of his pocket and caused the whole pile to fall unceremoniously onto the floor.
Marinette began to cry, too, when her papa handed her off to him, finally noticing how handsome he looked in his grey tux with green features. Adrien tried to hand her a tissue to help her out, but she pursed her lips as she held in a laugh, also pulling out a plethora of tissues from a pocket she had crafted in a hidden spot of her dress.
There wasn’t a dry eye in the room. Tom was more of a blubbering mess than Sabine, Gina and Roland also tearing up as they watched the exchange, while the Gorilla held up his camera to photograph the occasion with a handkerchief peeking from his large hand. Even Nino shed a tear or two!
The vows were handcrafted and meaningful, each word directed to exactly what the world could see of them. The kiss was a mix of tasteful and passionate, the deep feeling of the love that they shared could be felt throughout the room.
The reception was wonderful and fun. The food was absolutely amazing and the sweets were out of this world. Adrien and Marinette danced all evening long, only taking breaks when she needed a rest or a bathroom break.
At one point while waiting for dinner to be served, Marinette jolted in her seat and pressed a hand to the side of her stomach. Adrien noticed her flinch and immediately leaned over to her, ensuring that she was okay and whether or not they needed to leave.
Marinette shot him a teary smile, then silently grasped his hand and placed it at the spot.
“What-” He tried to say, but then felt it. The baby had kicked hard enough that it could be felt from the outside world. Adrien’s breath hitched as he waited for more movement, and was pleasantly surprised when he felt the baby kick twice more before settling back down.
Marinette watched as his eyes watered, the soft expression of his eyes and smile causing the tears to flow down her cheeks.
“That’s our kitten, my love. That’s our family.”
“Today has been one of the best days I could have ever asked for.” He whispered before pressing his lips on hers in an amorous kiss.
-----
Adrien carried Marinette over the threshold of their hotel room as his lips captured hers in a frenzy. He was slightly tipsy and she was extremely horny - two extremes clashing together in a powerful way that would probably lead to getting pregnant if they weren’t already past that part.
He lowered her slowly onto the bed and sat beside her serene form, departing from her lips for a second to kiss her jaw. He trailed kisses down her neck until he reached her collarbone, eliciting a moan from her lips. Marinette tilted her head to the side, giving him free access to her exposed skin.
Adrien brought one hand up to cup her cheek, bringing his face back up to hers to place slow, pleading kisses on her kiss-swollen lips. He took his free hand and reached around her shoulder blades, searching and finding the button that would loosen the lace straps completely off her shoulders.
Never removing her lips from his, Marinette helped him remove his jacket, then slowly removed the tie that hung listlessly around his neck. When Adrien felt her hands leave his chest, he reached up to her shoulders and pulled the straps down the sides of her arms.
They slowly parted to gaze into each other’s eyes. Her eyes fluttered with a pleading expression and he hungrily glared at her with a dark desire. She bit her lip as he ran his hand up and down the smooth skin, then closed her eyes as he leaned over and kissed her shoulders. He continued to kiss the supple skin as he ran his hand to her back, finding and loosening the corset string until it was loose.
Marinette let out a sigh of relief as she felt her breasts become free from the confines of the dress, and placed a tender kiss to his lips as a reward. She then helped him unbutton his shirt, taking a second at each one to kiss his neck as she removed them fully.
He could feel his cock twitch in excitement, but he had planned to take this night slow with her to relish in the moment of marital bliss. Even if it was agonizingly slow, he knew he would cherish this forever.
Marinette helped slide the shirt off his shoulders, leaving his torso bare in the dimly lit room. Adrien stood and reached out to grab her hands, bringing her up to her feet and kissing her once more before sliding the dress completely off her body.
He carefully maneuvered it around her torso, then watched as her milky skin looked serene under the yellow glow. Once the dress pooled at her feet, he held onto her hands to help her walk out of it, her white lace panty the only clothing left until he could make love to her.
Marinette kissed his lips once again while her hands roamed his chest before her hands found the hem of his gray suit pants. She ran her hands across his hips until she found the button, popping it off and sliding the zipper down as slowly as she could manage. He kicked his shoes off and waited until she undressed him, the clothing pooling down revealing black boxer briefs that accentuated his ass and cock, pleasing her sultry stare.
Adrien ran his hand up and down her torso, relishing in the warmth that radiated off her body. He took in her gorgeous body, her beautiful, supple breasts, the roundness of her bottom, and the way the goosebumps revealed themselves once his touch left her skin.
He walked around her until her back was facing his chest, and he kissed her neck until he trailed down to her shoulder. Her eyes shuttered close at the touch. She held onto the feeling for stability, letting out a whimper once his fingers dipped into the band of her underwear. Sliding the fabric over the swell of her ass, he ran his palm over the skin while the panties fell to the ground. He smirked as she let out a moan when his fingers brushed over her clit, caressing the mound until his fingers found the folds.
“Already wet, my wife.”
“Adrie-” She began, but let out a breathy moan as his fingers slipped into her entrance.
“I’m going to make sweet, sweet love to you. Nice…” he started to thrust his finger in and out of her excruciatingly slow, “... and slow.”
Marinette grinded her ass against his cock as he continued to thrust in and out of her. Her head fell back as her breathing came out harsh, a need to release imminent from the tense nature of her body. Adrien nibbled on her ear and licked the shell of it, blowing cool air on the damp spot to help her further. Marinette gripped onto his forearms as he played with her nipple, and with a graze to her bundle of nerves within her core, Marinette reached her peak and came down hard, her walls clenching around his fingers until the spasms slowed down and her breathing leveled out.
Adrien pulled his fingers from her core and inserted them into his mouth, licking the juices clean from his digits as she settled her head against his shoulder.
“You taste delicious.” He moaned into her ear, and she shivered at the sound.
Adrien turned her around and kissed her lips, wrapping his hand into her hair as he blindly guided her backwards towards the bed. When the back of her legs reached the mattress, she slowly lowered herself down until she was sitting comfortably, and Adrien laid her down onto her back slowly, never allowing his lips to leave hers.
Their kisses were soft, yet flirty, their tongues darting into each other’s mouths for a better taste, a deeper feel, and their hands explored their bodies until it was etched into their memories.
Adrien let go of her lips enough to remove his boxers and socks off his body, then leaned back down over Marinette’s waiting form, placing his knee in between her legs.
She scooted herself up until her head landed on the pillows, and Adrien followed her until he was hovering over her body. She opened her legs wide enough to let him into her space, and he gladly accepted by brushing the tip of his cock against her folds.
Adrien kissed her, slowly sliding his cock into her core until it filled her completely. Marinette gasped, wrapping her arms around his neck for purchase, a feeling of satisfaction as her husband took her fully.
She peered up at him and kissed his lips, before pressing sweet kisses down his jaw until she reached his clavicle. Adrien thrusted in her, holding his cock in her for a second before thrusting out. Every time he did that, Marinette’s breath would hitch and her eyes would shutter close. Her moans were soft and nearly silent, but the whimpers were sexy and vocal as his speed increased within her. She shifted her hips to give him deeper access, screaming out when he hit the spot that would eventually turn her into a puddle of goo.
He thrusted quickly before slowing down again, increasing Marinette’s mewls until she was writhing beneath him for more.
Adrien acquiesced to her silent plea, thrusting rhythmically until he could feel the coil begin the form in his core. He needed to hold out as long as he could, giving her a chance to climax once more before he let go. Adrien could feel her body tense up within his arms, her walls clenching around his cock, the rapid breathing as she clasped her eyes tightly, and he knew it would be a matter of time before she fell off the edge and into the abyss.
Marinette moaned out as she reached an intense climax, her legs squeezing Adrien’s torso as he fucked her through her high, his groans loud as he expelled himself within her. His erratic thrusting slowed until his hips stilled, and he hung his head onto her chest as they calmed down from the buzz.
He pulled himself from her and laid beside her lithe body, careful not to place his weight on her abdomen. He wrapped his arm around her torso while his head remained in the crook of her neck, and Marinette could only kiss the top of his head with a sleepy smile on her lips.
She ran her hand up and down his back as her eyes shuttered close, the comfortable silence enveloping them as they began to fall asleep.
Adrien pressed his lips to her shoulder before looking up at his wife, and she in turn looked down at her husband.
“I’m so happy that you’re mine.” Adrien mumbled out as he ran his hand over her belly. “And that we get to build this family together.”
Marinette smiled at his words. She ran her hand through his hair until he purred beside her, and he smirked against her skin as he savored the soothing sound.
“I love you.” He whispered out, sleepily. He was more in a state of dreamland than he was in the room.
“I love you too, chaton.” She looked down to see his eyes shuttered close. “You and me against the world.”
And with a quiet whisper, Adrien finished their phrase as he fell into a deep sleep, “Always.”

A Recorded Life (34/50) - Miraculous Ladybug
Words: 1400 Chapter Summary: The Akuma that interrupted the Mario Kart game is not here to play, and takes a different approach to fighting the heroes. Author's Note: This one was fun, it's intense. I'm so bad at coming up with Akumas, but I think I'm getting better.
Prev / Next / Masterlist
Organizer
---
"This should be relatively easy to beat," Ladybug said as the band of heroes stood watching the Akuma.
"I promise this one wasn't me!" Queen Bee came running up to the group. "I saw it happen, actually. It was one of the receptionist girls," She started to explain. "They were talking about Jagged Stone coming back to Paris next week, and one of them brought up the collab Marinette is working on with him. It became this whole heated debate over nothing, because the Akuma thinks you're fake and not worth-while, and she was outraged."
Ladybug nodded. "Okay, I take it back. Not that easy," She said.
Queen Bee agreed. "Yeah, but at least we know what to expect?"
"She has a point," Rena Rouge said. "The Akuma is going to go after you, so we've got to play it smart."
"Do we have any idea what powers this Akuma has?" Chat Noir asked, all of them turned away from the hotel.
The girls shook their heads. "Uh, guys?" Carapace interrupted. "The Akuma's leaving without even acknowledging us...?" He pointed.
"Oh, no," Ladybug sighed. "She's heading to the bakery."
The team took off, jumping from roof to roof to get to the bakery as fast as they could. "Adrien and I were playing video games while my parents were cleaning up the kitchen. Hopefully, they got out of there when we left," Ladybug announced.
She was wrong. The five heroes stared in shock as the Akuma blasted the roof off their house, jumping out of the home holding Tom and Sabine in a giant bubble-like cage. "Oh, what perfect time for you all to show up!" The Akuma said, sickeningly sweet. "Who should I add to my collection next?"
"Split up!" Ladybug shouted, and they all ran in different directions. The Akuma followed Rena Rouge and Carapace first, and after an illusion failed to trick the Akuma, she caught Rena Rouge. Carapace stood protected by his shell-ter, but who knows how long that would hold. Queen Bee was out of sight, and Chat Noir and Ladybug were on opposite sides of the Akuma.
"Oh, Marinette. I know your name, but you don't know mine. I'm Organizer. I have a collection started, and your Miraculous would be a great addition."
Ladybug sighed. "Sorry, not for sale," She said. "Chat! Now!" Ladybug yelled.
Organizer turned around at light speed, and before Chat Noir could pounce, she shot a bubble-like cage at him, and caught him. The three cages floated around Organizer, and she seemed pleased. "Hawkmoth will be so happy to see you, Adrien. Now all I need is Marinette," Organizer admired Chat Noir trying to break out of the cage. He couldn't speak in the cage, so he couldn't call for his cataclysm, either.
Carapace knew if he let his shield down he would be captured immediately. "Lu-"
"I wouldn't do that, Marinette," Organizer sing-songed. "If you do, Chat Noir will be the first to go to Hawkmoth."
Ladybug sighed. "Okay, what do you want me to do, then?"
"Well," Organizer started. "Hand over your Miraculous, and I'll let your parents go right now. You have thirty seconds to decide before I send them to Hawkmoth."
Ladybug's jaw dropped. She could see her parents gesturing at her, but she knew she couldn't let Hawkmoth near her parents. Organizer was counting down, and once she hit ten seconds, Ladybug finally spoke.
"Fine. You can have my earrings," Ladybug said.
"Oh, goody!" Organizer smiled wide.
Ladybug slowly lifted her hands to her earrings. If she called spots off, she would have to see Tikki and admit what she was doing. By jus taking them off, she could get away without having to give a second thought.
Ladybug took one earring off, her mask and suit seeming to glitch out. "No!" Carapace yelled and dropped his shield. He ran for Ladybug, but was caught by Organizer before he could stop her.
Ladybug took off her other earring as her parents and friends watched in disbelief. Marinette looked at both the earrings in her hand as she started to walk closer to Organizer, slowly and sadly.
Just as Marinette was about to hand over the earrings and get her friends and family back, she saw bright yellow pop up from behind. "Venom!" Queen Bee yelled, and stung Organizer in the back. All the bubble-like cages popped, and the heroes adjusted to being back to normal. Rena Rouge rushed over to Marinette's parents while Carapace shielded himself and Marinette.
Chat Noir called his cataclysm, and Queen Bee showed Chat Noir where the Akuma was. Quickly, the Akuma was flying out, and Marinette quickly turned back into Ladybug, shielded by her friends, so no one saw how it all worked. She purified the Akuma, used the cure, and her and Rena Rouge took Marinette's parents home. The other three stayed to help the receptionist, and soon Adrien was also at the Dupain-Cheng home to make sure everyone was okay.
Once her parents got to bed, the three sat in the living room. "I can't believe I took off my Miraculous," She said. "But I couldn't bear the thought of my parents being with Hawkmoth."
"Girl, we understand. I would have done the same thing. It's just a good thing Chloé came back when she did," Alya said.
"She apologized for leaving," Adrien cut in. "She said she went back to the hotel to figure out where the Akuma was since this Akuma was going to be hard to beat. She didn't think all that would happen in the few minutes she was gone," Adrien explained.
Marinette sighed and slumped into the couch. "I feel like I'm so stupid. How could I let all of that fall apart so quickly?"
"Mari," Adrien started. "If she were targeting me the way she did you, I would have reacted the exact same way. Don't feel bad. None of this is your fault, and we still beat the Akuma. Another day closer to beating Hawkmoth, right?" Adrien comforted her.
Alya left soon after the conversation, having to get home to let her family know she wasn't near the attack. Adrien and Marinette talked for a bit longer, but she really wasn't feeling up to it. So, finally, they decided to go to bed.
For the first time since Adrien has been with her, she wasn't able to sleep. Her thoughts were all over the place, and she couldn't make sense of them. Like any other human, she gave up on sleep, and decided to browse Twitter.
wow...that akuma attack today was rough. now I really understand why secret identities are so important.
yo fuck that guy who posted the video of mari and adrien. if he didn't do that hawkmoth wouldn't have so much hanging over their heads. her parents could have been seriously hurt.
Marinette is so strong. I would have done the same thing, I couldn't imagine what that choice felt like. Good think Queen Bee was there!
hawkmoth really is insane huh? He's going harder and harder with each akuma. uuuuuugh can't this guy have a normal hobby like sports or cars or something why does he have to fight teenagers every day
ha, guess this proves even more marinette dupain cheng isn't fit to be ladybug, look how quick she was to give up her miraculous
i love this team. they all work well together and take it seriously. couldn't ask for better heroes to protect paris <3
How many more days do we have to go hearing about every little thing marinette dc does? I'm so tired of her just kill hawkmoth already so my timeline can go back to normal
I'm so so so glad everyone is all right from the akuma today. it was a close one. hope that the team can get to hawkmoth soon! @MarinetteDC you know your fans have your back!!
Though there were plenty of hate comments, saying that she shouldn't be Ladybug or how annoying she is, the good and supportive people definitely overpowered them. She was thankful for such a sweet fanbase, even if there is a bad apple every so often.
Finally, after about an hour of scrolling, she fell asleep. Tikki was even sure she saw a small smile on her face...those supportive comments really do affect her, and Tikki was glad to see Marinette appreciated.

Lila Gets Exposed 1
This is a one shot series I’m doing that is also posted on Ao3 here I’m fine with getting recommendations for other chapters
[part 1] [part 2] [part 3] [part 4] [part 5] [part 6]
----------------------
Alya - I'm the Fox Hero
The last few weeks had been crazy for Alya. A few weeks ago, the day after another incident where Marinette bullied Lila, she hadn’t showed up to school. Alya couldn’t believe the girl would skip school after something like that. But then the next day happened, and then the next, and Marinette still hadn’t returned.
It wasn’t until they were assigned a group project, everyone in groups of two that Alya thought something was up. “Miss Bustier, what about Marinette? Everyone has a partner but her.”
“Marinette does not need a partner because she will not be doing this project.”
“Why doesn’t she need to do it?” Lila asked. “Is she doing a different one by herself?”
Alya didn’t notice the worried look Adrien gave at Lila as she focused on the teacher’s next words. “No, she is not doing the project because she is no longer and student here and has not been for the past week.”
Alya’s eyes widened. Marinette no longer going here? That was taking things too far over a disagreement that was her fault in the first place.
“Oh no! I hope it wasn’t because of me!” Lila said, looking like she might cry. But next to her, Adrien was looking sad. “No I… I think it might be because of me.”
That caught Alya off guard, but she never heard much after that other than overhearing that Adrien had talked with Marinette and that he had been right, though Alya suspected it was because of Marinette being jealous Lila liked him rather than anything else.
After that, things had mostly been fine. Alya grew closer friends with Lila, loving to learn what she could about ladybug from the heroine’s friend. Most recently Lila had been talking about how Ladybug usually consulted with Lila on new heroes like Rena Rouge and Carapace, which made Alya happy to know that Lila thought so highly of her.
Before she could ask more, there was a sound of an explosion nearby. An akuma attack was happening. Alya ran one way while Lila went the other. Alya pulled her phone out and started recording. The villain was tough, and the heroes were having trouble with them, so Ladybug called for her lucky charm. Zooming in, Alya saw that it was a fox statue and Ladybug then started running off. The reporter knew exactly what that meant. Ladybug was going to get the fox miraculous, she would get to be Rena Rouge again.
She kept filming the battle, but also kept an eye out for Ladybug to flag her down, or just to be prepared. But she kept waiting until she saw a streak of orange in the corner of her eye. Alya looked and almost dropped her phone. It was a fox hero. And it wasn’t her. Ladybug hadn’t come to her. Had she not noticed she was there? If Ladybug got a new person to be the fox hero, she would have gone to Lila right? And Lila knew Alya was here. Maybe they had talked before about backups?
When everything was fixed, Alya went looking for Lila. It didn’t take long and the two met up again. “So… there was a new fox hero today.” Alya showed Lila the footage she had gotten.
Lila nodded. “Yeah, Ladybug changed it up a bit. We agreed Rena Rouge wasn’t the best fit for being a holder.”
Alya froze at the statement, not able to speak, but Lila didn’t notice and kept talking. “And… I think I can trust you enough. Ladybug thought I was a good fit and chose me to be the new fox hero.”
Alya watched as Lila pulled out a fox tail necklace almost identical to the miraculous. But Alya had seen the real one. She knew how it really looked. Before she could stop herself, Alya spoke. “You’re lying.”
Lila looked at Alya. “What? No I’m n-”
“Then tell me who Rena Rouge is, or was.”
Lila paused, taken aback. “Oh, well her name was Katherine. She’s lives near my house and-”
   “No Lila. You’re wrong.”
Again, Lila was taken aback. “Oh so you got to meet the real Rena Rouge? Sorry, I did lie. I didn’t know you knew so I wanted to make sure it was still a secret so she was safe.”
Alya just stared at Lila. “Marinette was right, wasn’t she? You were lying, all this time. You’re not friends with Ladybug or help choose the heroes.” “What? No of course we’re frie-” “Because if you were friends with her and did help, you would know I was Rena Rouge.”
This time, Lila froze. Out of all the people she lied to about Rena Rouge, she had decided to lie to the hero herself. “N-no, you. I… I just was saying in case people were listening.”
“Lila, no one is around. Even if you were just saying that because people were nearby, you insulted me to my face. Calling me unfit for being a hero.”
“No, that’s not what I-” Lila didn’t get to finish as Alya stormed off. She went all the way to the Dupain-Cheng bakery. When she went in, She was greeted by Marinette’s mother’s cold glare. The woman opened her mouth, but Alya was faster. “I know I messed up and I can’t believe I just realized it, but please please let me apologized to Marinette, even if she doesn’t forgive me.
Reluctantly, Alya was let upstairs. She knocked on Marinette’s door and then held on the door handle. Marinette tried to open the door but she was prevented by the hand. “Marinette, it’s me Alya. I know you probably don’t want to see me but I want to say I’m sorry. You were right.”
Marinette stopped trying to open the hatch when Alya started talking, but by the lack of footsteps, she was listening and not walking away.
“Something happened today and I realized Lila was lying. She was lying the whole time and I didn’t see it. I’m a reporter and I didn’t even check her facts when you did. I pushed you away like everyone else and I’m sorry.”
Alya had let go of the handle when Marinette stopped trying to open the door so when she once again tried opening it, there was nothing to stop her. Alya looked up at Marinette who looked like she might cry. Her old friend looked back down at her, asked ‘How?’ and waved Alya in.
“After you left, Lila told me more about her supposed relationship with Ladybug and that the new heroes were chosen from people Lila told Ladybug about.” Alya saw Marinette’s lips tighten like she wanted to say something, but the girl wasn’t given a chance. “There was a new fox hero today and I asked Lila about it. She said she was the new hero and Rena Rouge was a mistake.”
“I don’t see why that helped you figure out she was lying.” Marinette half whispered.
“Because Lila had just said how great I was, and, since I guess it doesn’t matter anymore…” she paused. Since Alya wasn’t Rena Rouge anymore, she doubted it mattered if she told Marinette. Even if she was given the opportunity, she would turn it down. “I was Rena Rouge.”
Marinette stared at Alya for a few seconds before they widened. “So Lila didn’t know she was saying you were a good friend and a horrible hero at the same time!”
Alya nodded sadly. “After that, I finally decided to look everything up, and you were right. I was a horrible friend. Can you forgive me?”
Marinette looked to the side, unable to meet Alya’s eyes as she spoke. “Maybe eventually, but not right away. I’ve done so many things for you and the class, the way you all treated me was horrible. If I hadn’t been threatened and almost akumatized however many times, maybe I would have forced myself to stay, but with all of it happening…” Marinette trailed off as Alya tried processing her old friend’s words.
“She threatened you?! Why didn’t you say anything?!” Alya nearly screamed, but she kept her voice low enough so Marinette’s parents wouldn’t hear.
“I didn’t think anyone would believe me.” Marinette replied meekly leaving Alya fuming.
“I’m so so sorry I let it go this far. I’ll do what I can to fix things. I promise.”
Marinette nodded and after more talking, they had a way to contact each other again as Marinette now had a new phone, something Alya was internally embarrassed for not knowing since she hadn’t even tried contacting the girl in ages. As she left the bakery, Alya pulled up the Ladyblog and started removing everything about Lila. Once the reporter got to a safe place, she turned on the phone camera. “Hey guys. This isn’t Ladybug news exactly, but it is extremely important."

Giving Life
I was inspired to write this and I can’t get it out of my head. It’s going to be short, probably a Three or four parter. This contains violence, blood, gore and character deaths. I call this the emotionless au. In this AU, Hawkmoth figured out how to take away someone’s empathy and moral compass. This is the outcome of an ambush gone wrong. Enjoy!
Ladybug ran even though blood was cascading from the cut from her head and coating her face. She didn’t know how long they would be distracted for and if her transformation dropped with them there, she was dead. Maniacal laughter echoed behind her as she dived into a dumpster at the last beep. Tikki dropped to the bottom and hid as silently as possible.
“Oh Bugaboo….” Marinette bit her lip in both physical and mental pain. The suit had allowed her to run with a broken foot, but not for much longer. Tikki cuddled up to her leg, patting it as she stared in worry at the laughter coming closer.
It all went wrong so fast. They decided to ambush Hawkmoth, but he knew. He knew they were coming and he had… changed her teammates. They were bloodthirsty and held nothing back as they tried their best to shatter their body. The laughter came closer and closer and Marientte had stopped breathing. Please, please for the love of Paris.
“Hawkmoth wants us at the tower. He said he feels pity for the bug and wants her to say her farewells in peace.” Carapace, Nino, laughed.
“What a pity. I’d like to make her scream again now.” Queen Bee spoke up, but a zip noise told Marinette that she was gone. Screams erupted from far away, but Tikki and Marinette immediately took advantage of the reprieve. Tikki began to chow down on the cookies, though the smell of the dumpster did ruin her appetite a bit.
“I think, I think I’m going to have to do it Tikki.”
Marinette’s words made Tikki swirl around to look at her chosen. “But Marinette! You know what the consequences will be.”
Marinette held her jacket to her forehead to stop the bleeding, “I have no choice Tikki. We’re not too far away from the house.. And I think I want to tell my parents I love them.”
Tikki found tears welling up, but the bravery of her chosen made her swell up in pride. “Okay Marinette. Okay.”
Unfortunately, the streets were chaotic with people running in fear from those who were akumas. Marinette found herself ducking, but she soon realized that Paris wasn’t going to wait for her to say her goodbyes. She did see Nadia up ahead and Marinette knew that she had to leave them all something.
“Tikki, do you trust me?” Marinette whispered.
“Always.” She whispered back.
Marinette tore off down the street to Nadia, threw a trash can lid at the akuma coming up behind her. Nadia turned at the loud noise of the akuma dropping like a fly and gaped in shock at Marinette.
The woman grabbed Marrinette and tried to pull her along, “Marinette! It isn’t safe here, let’s head to the bakery.”
Pulling her arm free, Marinette smiled sadly at her mother’s friend, “Nadia… I need you to do me a favor. Is that camera live?”
“Yes? But, Marinette.. I don’t understand?”
“That’s okay, you will. Will you please record me?” The camera man picked up his camera as Nadia whispered into her headset that she’s going live again. He gave Marinette a thumbs up when the camera went live. “Mom, Dad? I know you’re watching this. I know you want to know why I’m not safe at Alya’s and I wish I could tell you everything. Please, please know I did this because I love you. I’m sorry if I ever disappointed you. I’m so sorry.
Wiping her eyes, she began again, “Rena, it’s okay. You’re probably beating yourself up and you shouldn’t do that. There’s nothing to forgive. I was the leader and I failed you. Alya, I’m sorry I didn’t tell you. I love you. You’re my best friend.”
Scream startled the three out of the moment, and Marinette squared her shoulders in determination, “Carapace and Nino, the two of you are brave and are always going to be the person I would’ve chosen to take over my job. Both as the guardian and also as the one making sure everybody is okay. Don’t forget about yourself either. Chloe or Queen Bee, I’ve always known you were a hero. You demonstrated it for me taking that shot. I’m sorry I let you down as both… You are good Chloe Bourgeois. No matter what people say.”
Adrien, I know you’ll watch this too. I did love you.” Marinette let out a choked gasp or a laugh that brought pain to her ribs. “ I was always a nervous mess around you and I’m sorry that you thought I hated you. Completely the opposite. Please don’t fret though. This is my choice. And now, Chaton…. Oh god, you’re the one I don’t want to say goodbye too. You’re my best friend, the one who I know without a doubt will always stand by me. You had my heart in one way and honestly, you were winning it the other way too. I love you. Don’t you dare ever feel guilty for my choice. You know how determined I can be. Don’t make my… actions meaningless and make me come back to kick your butt.” Marinette began to sob. “I’m scared. I won’t lie, but I owe Paris my life.”
Nadia reached out, “Marinette…?”
Smiling softly at her, Marinette whispered, “Spots on.” And gasps were heard.
“Of course.” Nadia shook her head. “You’re our hero.”
“Always.” Marinette replied standing straight as the suit took the brunt of all the pain. “I’m going to go get my team back. Thank you both for… for recording that message.” Nadia grabbed the girl and gave her a hug.
“You make us all proud. Be safe.”
Tossing her yoyo, she began her way to the eiffel tower. Along the way, she would save civilians who whispered her name as she left. She left hope in her wake. It did not last as she got closer and closer to the tower, the akumas just sank into the background. Laughter that she once loved was infected with something else. As she threw her yoyo to go the last distance, a force knocked her out of the sky! A pair of hands grabbed her hair and tossed her roughly to the ground. Her ribs were in pain once again, but Ladybug rolled out of the way of the shield coming down.
She began to plead once again, “Carapace, please!”
“I hear my name, but all I hear is more pain!” He laughed in return. He tossed his shield and she barely dodged it then. As she dodged him, she realized he was pushing her toward the eiffel tower. Great, she thought, I’ve lost the upper hand in the sky. Her thoughts distracted her from  the flute smacking against her back. And she didn’t dodge the shield which cracked a rib once again. Come on Marinette, just have to make it to Hawkmoth.
“So you have a choice Spots. You can come with us broken or come with us broken! Which one would you like?” Rena Rouge beamed.
Ladybug cocked her hip as she smirked, “I like option C, not broken and not coming with you!” She threw her yoyo up and surprised the other two as she glided away. Unfortunately, her victory didn’t last long when a blonde threw her own stinger up and pulled Ladybug back to earth. Crashing to the ground, Ladybug groaned and as the flute fell down on her chest, she lost the ability to breathe. Ladybug attempted to stand, but a well placed kick to her broken foot had her falling back down.
“Broken it is!” Rena grinned maniacally down at her as she smacked her again. Queen Bee laughed and began to drag Ladybug down the steps as if dragging the trash bag to the curb. With every step, her head was thrown into a state of perpetual pain and she didn’t wake until the were at the foot of the tower. She was thrust into a kneeling position in front of Hawkmoth and.. Chat Noir. His grin wasn’t his usual warm grin, but a grin that called for blood.
“Hello, Bugaboo.” Ladybug’s heart dropped.

Alternate Ending to Mayura/ Song fic
I get a lot of inspiration from songs, so I'm probably going to have a lot of fics based on songs, such as this one and my previous one, Only Human, which many of you have already read. Thank you for reading. Enjoy the fic :)
--------------------------------
Disclaimer: I don't own, and never will own, Miraculous Ladybug or any other songs my fics are based on. Inspired by I'm Still Here from Jem and the Holograms.
--------------------------
It seemed like the battle was over. Chat Noir and Ladybug were groaning on the floor, having been beaten physically by Hawkmoth. He was still red, since Ladybug wasn't able to take away his cane successfully and shatter it. The other akumas had them surrounded, but Hawkmoth kept them at bay. He wanted an audience that would laugh and point along with him when he succeeded in taking the heroes' Miraculouses. Hawkmoth smirked as he stepped towards the heroes, watching them try and fail to crawl away from him.
"You both are no match for me. You are still so young, so inexperienced. You still dont know how to keep your transformations. You're sad excuses for heroes. Not only did you fail to protect Paris..." Hawkmoth stood over Chat Noir, and Ladybug's eyes widened as he reached down towards her partner. "...you even failed to protect each other from me."
Hawkmoth grabbed his hand, ready to pull his ring off, when a small red body collided into him, shouting "Don't you dare touch him!"
"M'Lady, no, wait!"
"Get off me, you stupid girl!"
"Chat!"
"Cataclysm!"
"NO!" Hawkmoth cried out in anger as Chat turned his cane into nothing but dust. He watched as his red akuma fluttered out. He reached out to grasp it, only for a red yoyo to soar over his head and conceal it within its healing light.
He felt the red bubbles envelop him as he watched the purified butterfly fly out of the yoyo and his anger grew with every flutter of its wings. He reached behind him towards the spotted heroine and finally grasped her and pulled her off his back, holding her by her neck as she kicked in pain and defiance while he threw that blasted yoyo away from her grasp. He leaned in close to her ear, and whispered menacingly:
"You may have won the battle, but you have not won the war. I wonder if this wingless Ladybug can fly."
His voice held nothing but cold anger, and Ladybug's eyes widened as she felt the flex of his arm as he quickly drew her back and threw her over the side of the railing.
"LADYBUG!"
The sound of her body hitting the landing 50 feet below them echoed in Chat Noir's ears, and he rushed to the edge as fast as he could. His emerald eyes glimmered with tears and dulled with pain and grief as he saw her motionless body lay on the metal landing, not a sign of life coming from her closed blue eyes. He couldnt feel anything. His eyes went blank as he desperately tried to shove down the pain of losing someone he loved (again!), but the anguish practically glowed form his cat-like eyes.
Hawkmoth could see the pain, and like any moth, he was drawn to it. But he still had uses for the boy, so akumatization wouldn't be so ideal. But a boy filled with hate for his loved one, and everything she cared about, would be perfect in destroying the city she loved to protect. He would be the perfect minion.
Chat's eyes widened as he heard the sound of a string being pulled, and he turned around to see Kim, akumatized regularly back into Dark Cupid, and a black rose hitting his chest. His vision enveloped into black, and he knew no more.
----------------------------
"Dupain-Cheng! Wake up! Ugh, you better not be dead or I swear on my Miraculous I WILL sting you."
"Chloe-"
"Its Queen Bee, Cesaire. Get it right, fox."
"Everyone knows who you are, Chloe, since you were the one who gave up your identity on your first day, so it doesnt really matter what I call you, now, does it?"
"Its for the principle here that matters!"
"Girls, now is not the time! We need to do something! Marinette, dude, please wake up."
"Shes not going to wake up, Nino! She's, she's-!"
"Still alive." Marinette groaned out, her head pounding as she finally got her eyes to open.
"Marinette!" Marinette cried out softly as she got crushed between two bodies, but it didnt last because a third person pulled them off and slapped her arm none too gently.
"Ow! Chloe!"
"That, Dupain-Cheng, is for daring to have been my hero all this time without telling me or your friends and for almost dying today. I'd consider giving you the gift of hugging me for your comfort, but I dont want your bloody lip getting anything on my designer jacket." Chloe sat back down with a huff, looking away with bright red cheeks as the trio of heroes looked at her in shock.
Marinette finally chuckled and smiled when it drew Chloe's attention. "Thanks, Chloe. I'll try not to die anytime soon, and I might, might, take you up on that offer for a hug. If you're nice."
Chloe made a disgusted face that made everyone laugh. Marinette's chuckles, however, died down at her sudden realization that something, or someone, was missing.
"Um, guys? Where exactly are we? And where's Chat Noir?"
Their chuckles died down at Marinette's questions. The trio looked at each other, trying to decide who would be best to tell her. Chloe rolled her eyes, but kept her eyes averted nervously as she spoke.
"Well, Dupain-Cheng...Marinette, Foxlya and Ninopace decided it would be such a brilliant idea to shove us all into a storage closet in my daddy's hotel while your mangy alley cat and Big, Bad and Unfashionable destroyed Paris."
Marinette stared at Chloe, silent with shock. Alya waved a hand in front of her face, but she still didnt react.
"Um...Mari?"
"He...they...what? Chat would never-!"
Nino spoke up, his voice tinged with a grim determination. "Oh, we know. Dark Cupid got to him first. I guess seeing you fall 50 feet and then lay motionless must have left him emotionally vulnerable, dude."
Alya looked sadly at her best friend as she looked down at the covers, her fists clenching and unclenching with her troubled thoughts. Marinette might not have known who Chat Noir was, but it was obvious that she loved him almost, if not just as much as she loved Adrien.
"So, you guys know. Then where's...?"
"Shes eating and resting in the other room. She was panicking about you, so we sent her with our kwamis to calm her down. You want to call her in?"
"That sounds just like Tikki. Always worrying about me." Marinette smiled fondly to herself before looking up at Alya. "Bring her in, Alya. I want to make sure she's also fine with the fall."
Marinette watched Alya stride towards the door, her hand reach towards the handle, but flinching back as a little red goddess phased through the door and rushed at Marinette.
"Marinette! Oh, I'm so glad you're alright! I was so worried it was all so sudden, I wasnt sure my magic would cushion your fall in time!"
Mari's blue eyes twinkled with joy and exasperated fondness as Tikki snuggled up to her cheek, worrying all the way. "I'm fine, just a little sore, I think. It still surprises me that I can survive a fall that high in the suit."
"Yeah, but please dont make it a habit."
Marinette smiled, but she turned serious as she once more pondered their situation. The look on her face finally destroyed any doubt her friends might have had that Marinette wasnt Ladybug.
"Marinette?"
"We need to capture Hawkmoth once and for all, but we cant do it alone. We need Chat Noir back. No offence guys, but you're still fairly new to working with me. And I need someone who really gets my way of thinking. Chat is that person, and i wouldn't trade him for anyone, or ever leave him at the hands of evil. Once we get Chat, Hawkmoth is going to have a hard time without all his other akumas."
Alya, Nini, and Chloe smiled eagerly, and leaned forward. "We're in."
"Great. We'll start immediately. But first, I need to get up and trans-augh!" Marinette fell forward as a sharp pain flashed through her abdomen, but Alya caught her before she hit the ground.
(Start playing I'm Still Here from Jem and the Holograms)
"Marinette, you need to move carefully! You literally just survived a life-threatening fall." Alya scolded Marinette as she helped her stand fully. Marinette smiled thankfully up at her, and looked down at Tikki. Her heart started beating faster.
"Ready? You think we can do this?"
"Of course, Ladybugs have always won. You can do this. It's written in the stars."
Marinette called on her transformation as she walked towards the door, her steps gaining confidence as she thought, "It's not over. I've still got fight."
Part of her worried over Chat Noir, wondering if she would be able to draw him from the darkness like last time. And she promised herself that Hawkmoth would pay for taking her kitty.
She looked at her team, so brave to rise after being broken. They didnt know what was coming, but they'd face it head-on.
She opened the door, and saw nothing but flames. Paris was up in flames, and it felt like her heart was burning with it. She looked at her team, and together they took the leap, falling before catching themselves, and she felt the familiar rush that told her "I'm still here." They ran across the non burning buildings, the flames licking them when they leapt over the burning ones.
They headed towards the Eiffel Tower, and she could see the height differences between the landings, and felt the ghost pain of falling, and a fire to defeat Hawkmoth once and for all. He was standing there, with Chat Noir at his left, a small collar around his neck, like a symbol that Chat belonged to Hawkmoth.
Ladybug's eyes narrowed. She ducked under a burning arch as they snuck up onto the landing. Oh, hell no. That's her kitty. He just crossed a line, and she's taking her kitty back.
"CHAAAAAT!!!!" She cried as she launched herself at him. His lips were black again, but Ladybug was not going to spend almost an hour chasing him again. Her lips crashed against his, and she rolled with him as Carapace shielded her while Rena and Queen Bee attacked Hawkmoth and Dark Cupid.
Her kitty's eyes were like fiery waterfalls. His tears burned her as she saw his pain at thinking she was dead.
"I'm here, you stupid Chat."
"My Lady?"
"Who else? Now, let's get that Miraculous."
They rushed into the fight, Hawkmoth's face whitening at seeing her still alive.
'I'm still here.'
"This isnt possible! You're supposed to be dead! You should be gone."
"And yet, I'm not. I'm still here. And I'll always be here, as long as you continue to terrorize people, Chat Noir, Rena Rogue, Queen Bee, Carapace and I will still be here to take you down! You cant win against us, Hawkmoth, and you can never get rid of us. You tried, and you failed.
I'm still here."
----------------------------
I'm just going to leave this here. If anyone actually wants to write the ending in which they defeat Hawkmoth, that's cool. I just kept hearing that song come up in my playlist and thought, this is a great comeback song. Like, you cant defeat us, no matter how hard you try.
I'm still here.

Adrinette April Day 22- Aged up
@adrinetteapril
“It’s so good to see you again!” Alya gushed as she once again tackled Marinette into a hug. The shorter, black haired girl giggled as she stumbled slightly.
“Careful, Alya!” She laughed.
“I will not hold back, I haven’t seen you in three years!” Alya growled as she tightened her grip on her best friend.
“You act like we weren’t in contact.”
“A few phone calls every week isn’t enough.”
Marinette sighed as she looked up at Alya. The girl was always taller then Marinette but it seemed she had grown even taller over the years, if that was possible. Her body was still super curvy but she had also toned up quite a bit. Marinette smiled softly as she realised Alya would have gotten the muscle from patrolling Paris as Rena Rougue in Ladybug and a Chatnoir’s absence. A few years ago Alya had stopped coloring her hair and let the natural colour grow out. She was rocking a cute bob cut that drew attention to her strong jawline, all in all, she was beautiful as ever.
“Alya, I’m not going to start this arguement again. I had to go...” Marinette sighed sadly as she stepped away from Alya, keeping her at an arms distance.
“No, you didn’t. You choose to leave us, leave me.”
Marinette felt her blood boil, she had had this same argument over and over again with both Alya and even her own Parents! They just didn’t understand, it took her three years to come home and even know every fibre of her being was telling her to run.
“After defeating Gabri- Hawkmoth, Paris didn’t need Ladybug anymore, but there were plenty of people out in the world that still needed her.”
“We needed you, Adrien, needed you.” Alya snapped.
“Adrien didn’t, doesn’t, need me.”
“Marinette, he found out that his father was hawkmoth, watched his only family left commit suicide and then the girl he loves disappear, all in the spend of a week. He was a wreak, he needed you, as Ladybug and as Marinette.”
Marinette didn’t say anything in reply as that god awful night played in her head over and over again. Chatnoir’s face, who she knew was Adrien, drop when Hawkmoth drop his transformation to reveal Gabriel Agreste, his confession about reserructng his wife and the pure horror they both felt when he placed the gun to his temple.
“Hey, I’m sorry.” Alya was suddenly saying as she pulled Marinette against her chest. “Shh, it’s okay.” Marinette hadn’t even realised she was crying.
After a few minutes, Marinette pulled away to straighten herself out.
“I’m okay now.” She smiled softly, “being back here is just bringing up some bad memories.”
“I understand.” Alya tightly smiled before checking her phone, a frown instantly pulling at her lips. “Shit, we better keep going, Ninos been at the cafe for 20 minutes now.”
The two women linked arms and continued there walk towards the cafe around the corner.
The bell above the door chimed happily as Marinette walked in, her blue eyes scanned the small cafe for Nino’s familiar red cap but instead landed on a pair of green eyes. Her whole body froze up as she realised Adrien was sitting at a booth in the back and Nino was no where to be seen.
She turned around, ready to bolt out of there but Alya was standing in the door way with her arms across her chest.
“No.” She simply said as she geastured towards Adrien. “It’s been three years, Mari,’
And with that she gently shoved Marinette further into the cafe, she stumbled a little before getting her bearings once again. She turned her head towards the exit but quickly noticed Alya outside with Nino, blocking her escape. With a heavy sigh she forced her body to face Adrien as she walked towards him, she still couldn’t look him in the eye.
“Hey, Mari.” Adrien greeted her quietly, her stomach flipped and her heart flutter, just like old times.
“Hi.” She shyly replied before sitting down. It was awkward for a few minutes, the other person not knowing what to say. Marinette bit her lip, she couldn’t do this, she snuck a look up at Adrien but as soon as her blue eyes landed on his green ones, flash backs of that night haunted her.
She abruptly stood up, her chair scraping loudly across the wooden floor as she forced it back. She needed to leave, Alya and Nino be damned.
“Wait!” Adrien’s panicked voice rung out, he gripped her wrist, keeping her in place. “Please, we need to talk.”
Marinettes heart broke at his pleading tone, reluctantly she sat back down. Adrien sighed in relief, he hand still around her wrist, like he was scared she’d run if he let go, to be honest, she probably would have.
“Marinette, I know you’re Ladybug.”
Marinette’s whole body froze up, her eyes widen in shock as her brain tried to comprehend what he just said to her.
“It’s wasn’t as obvious as I’d like to admit but you both went missing at the same time.. You both left me after..” His voice broke as he struggled to speak, he opted to just clam his mouth shut and glare down at the table instead. Marinette help her heart break at his face, it was so much like the face he made three years ago...
“I’m sorry, I couldn’t stay..” Marinette started to say, before Adrien exploded.
“Don’t bullshit me, You ran away! You ran away when I needed you most. I know you knew I was Chatnoir.” He cried.
“Yes. I found out you were Chatnoir. It was perfect for me really, I was in love with you for so many year and I had feelings for chat that I repressed for so long, finding out you were the same person was my biggest relief.” Marinette admitted, nervously playing with her fingers as she avoided eye contact with Adrien. She snuck a quick glance at him to see is reaction, she was shocked to see him blushing. “I didn’t, I didn’t run to hurt anyone, expecially you.” Marinette found herself saying, “I-I already had plans to leave, after your engagement..” she mumbled as she looked towards his left hand, she froze upon seeing no wedding ring.
Adrien’s eyes flickered down to his hand as well, he subconsciously ran his finger tip over his ring finger, before looking back up at her.
“I liked Kagami, a lot, I just never loved her the way I loved you.” He softly spoke.
Marinette felt het eyes widen as a gasp left her lips.
“I-I loved Ladybug with all my heart, I was attracted to Marinette, You were someone I could see myself with if Ladybug wasn’t in my life. The engagement was Fathers idea, I-I gave, I gave up on Ladybug, On you and tried to find happiness else where. After he- he-.. after he was gone. I couldn’t do it, I wanted to go through with it to try and find happiness but knowing it was someh ing he wanted and after everything he did, I couldn’t. It was around this time I realised you were Ladybug, it broke my heart. We could of been happy together.”
Marinette was silent as she processed everything Adrien just said. He never loved Kagami, nor did he marry her. He knew she was Ladybug and he wasn’t disappointed he was happy and wanted a life with her still, her heartbreak wildly in her chest until she remember this was all three years ago, she missed her chance.
“I um, still have thoses feelings.” Adrien suddenly said as though he was reading her mind.
“I do too.” Marinette admitted, she could feel her heart beating in her ears. Adrien’s face flushed at her words making her smile in triumph.
“So, can we start over?” Adrien nervously asked, “be friends again?”
Marinette felt a slight irritation build in her stomach.
“You haven’t changed at all in three years Agreste.” She frowned as she stood up from her seat. Adrien’s started to frown at her words, a worried look crossed over his features. “Luckily for you, I have.”
She walked over to him and wrapped him by his collar, pulling him up for a kiss. His gasped at first, before finding his bearings and returning the kiss. It was short only a few seconds long but it held so much love and emotion in it.
“Let’s a least go on a proper date before we use titles.” She laughed once they separated. “How about tonight? I’m a little impatient, I waited years to call you my own.”
Adrien was in shock, he just dumbly nodded his head while she scribbled her number on a napkin.
“Call me soon for details.”
And with that she left with a smirk on her lips and a heart full of dumb love.

A Very Oblivious Marinette Omake 1
I forgot to post this! I am so sorry! This is an omake for my Oblivious Mari/MariHarem fic ^^ Real quick, any omakes I write for the fic, they do not take place in the canon of the fic!
Also beach fanart thing is still going on! ^^
Marinette sat on the bench in the park in shock. She didn't know what happened exactly. All she remembered was there being news of a new akumatized victim running around Paris. Their powers hadn't been revealed yet, but Marinette was sure that whatever the powers were, they weren't safe. She had ran off to go transform, but quickly found herself over the rooftop as someone carried her. Looking up, she was shocked to see Volpina holding her while staring straight ahead.
Before Marinette could get her attention, Rena Rouge appeared and took Marinette from Volpina's grasp. Looking back and forth at the two fox themed super people, Marinette had remembered feeling relieved that Rena was there to save her from Lila who apparently had been akumatized again. She felt bad because she didn't know her friend was feeling so awful that she'd get akumatized again. Before Rena could take Marinette to safety, Volpina tackled them to the ground and began fighting with Rena while both shouted insults back and forth at each other.
Marinette had ran off to find somewhere to transform, but she ran into the embrace of Reflekta who had walked into view from the alleyway. Shocked to see another one of her friends akumatized, Marinette began to try and break free from Reflekta's hug, but she found herself stuck in Reflekta's grip. Confused as to why two of her friends would be akumatized at the same time, Marinette continued to squirm until Reflekta began to pet the back of Marinette's head in an oddly, soothing fashion.
Before she could continue, Reflekta found Marinette leaving her embrace thanks to the timely arrival of Queen Bee who had flown in and pulled Marinette into her arms before flying away. Queen Bee had seemed annoyed at the time and did her best to distance herself from Reflekta before barely dodging an extremely sharp blade. This caused her to lose her grip on Marinette. Marinette fell to the ground while frozen in fear. While she was used to doing this as Ladybug, she hadn't transformed yet.
Thankfully, if you could say that, she found herself hugged tightly to the cold, metal covered body of Riposte. Gasping again, she began to wonder how many of her friends had been re-akumatized. Seeing Riposte smirk, Marinette was confused as to what she could have done to make all the akumatized people come after her.
Before she could question Riposte, she heard Riposte shout as her sword disappeared from her hand as if someone had just erased it. The sudden realization hit her too late as a rope tied around her and she was pulled out of Riposte's grip and into the Evillustrator's arms. She saw him shyly smile before drawing a glider to ride away. Marinette just stayed frozen in shock as she continued to be passed around from akumatized victim to akumatized victim or the occasional overprotective super-idiot (well her super-idiots).
And that was how she ended up in the park. Groaning into her hand, she looked up and saw Paris's superheroes arguing with all her akumatized classmates and Kagami. How this happened and why they were after her, she didn't know, but honestly she didn't care at the moment. This was ridiculous and from what she could tell, they couldn't be de-akumatized like they were before. Feeling the ground shake and a burst of angry voices, she looked over and saw Stoneheart and Dark Cupid yelling at each other.
Sighing, she looked over and saw the Gamer yelling at...nothing...wait that's right, Sabrina's akumatized form is the Vanisher. She looked around and noticed that Bubbler, Lady WiFi, and Antibug didn't appear...that's good, but also weird. Everyone else is akumatized why aren't they? Shaking her head, she stood up and began to walk away only to stop as Chat landed in front of her. "Princess! This is crazy! What the heck is happening?!" Chat questioned her which caused her to glare back at him.
"How the heck should I know! I heard there was a new akuma in the city so I went to hide only to get captured by Volpina, saved by Rena, captured by Reflekta, saved by Queen Bee, and so on and so forth! I don't get any of what's happening! Maybe the new akuma did this to them? But I don't get why they would come to me," Marinette angrily shouted back at Chat whose eyes had widened in shock. Seeing this, Marinette sighed as she calmed down. "Sorry kitty, I'm just really frustrated. You have no idea how many times I was passed around before this. It was starting to annoy me."
Chat just chuckled slightly at this. "I get it Princess. Sorry for asking you like that. I'm just confused as to why Ladybug isn't here yet. You would think with this many akumas in the city, she would by now," Chat chuckled as he scratched the back of his head.
Marinette chuckled awkwardly as she realized she probably should run off somewhere to transform. Sadly, the fact that everyone's eyes are on her...she probably won't be leaving soon. Suddenly, she heard "Did you forget about us!" coming from behind her. Seeing Queen Bee's, Rena's, and Carapace's shocked/confused expressions, she turned around and saw Bubbler, Lady WiFi, and Antibug standing there. Facepalming, she was about to groan before the three previously mentioned superheroes suddenly attacked the newcomers.
Hearing the loud angry yells and insults, Marinette looked over at an equally confused Chat and gave him an exasperated look. "Chat...just Cataclysm me now. I can't handle this crap." Feeling her feet get wet and a cold chill starting to fill the air, she looked over and saw Syren and Stormy Weather heading her way. "Seriously...Do it. Now."
All she got was a blank look making her groan even louder.

Werewolf Season 1 Episode 2: Dynasties
NOVEMBER 1, 2002
“The enemy wolf clans won’t take this nicely,” argued Naiiael. "King Zeppa of Clan Zeppa agrees with our cause to fight the werewolves, but King Sil of Clan Sil isn’t so empathetic. Our best bet is to call on King Zeppa to fight the werewolves. Since he is a mutual ally between us and King Sil, maybe honesty pays tenfold.”
King Hawes scoffed at Naiiael’s suggestion. He asked himself how Naiiael could be so arrogant as to suggest an allegiance with the enemy wolf clans. “No matter who the negotiator—no matter who the middleman dealer is, King Sil will remain unsympathetic to our cause; he is a facetious cheat.”
“King Sil is a facetious cheat,” Zamara said. “He threatened to murder the future heads of Clan Dmarani, my children—Veram and Rena Kaiz, and also the children of the other king of Dmarani, King Dmarani himself, who is sadly no linger with us—and his children with the witch—Ujare, Salela, and Harel Kaiz.”
Then Ramnez hastily questioned, “I’m confused. Is the Kaiz name held by the reigning nabobs of Dmarani, or by every member of the clan?”
Naiiael scarfed down the fresh hog and poultry, served on a golden platter with an inscrutable stare at Ramnez. “The surname of Kaiz is granted to all members of Clan Dmarani.”

Rena prowled through the forests, adorned in beautiful storm-gray fur and a decorative golden braid ran down from her neck to her front talons painted silver. She plucked an apple from the highest tree, and nibbled on it partially, noting its sharp taste. As Rena nibbled on the apple, she perched on the treetops; admiration turned to horror and she charged through the forest. “That man’s in trouble!”
A mammoth werewolf underneath the shade of the trees traced his nails against the stumpy man’s throat, drawing a troublesomely stinging cry and a chalice of gore from his neck. Vindictively, the werewolf said, “The man owed me his teeth.” He forced his talon into the man’s tongue. The man bled out; he had paid his debts with teeth and death.

EGYPT, 1 A.D.
“Pharaoh Ahkurh—you must be protected at all costs!” The servants escorted the worried pharaoh to his dusty wooden sarcophagus coffin. He climbed into the tomb; his robes were as unkept and weedy as the tomb. Boulders tumbled down from hills above, as God’s justice stormed through the Egyptian village, huts and statues of his grandeur crumbling before the storms of stones.
“Go,” said the pharaoh. “Let your heads be stoned till you bleed out. You served me well. Now you will be served justly in Heaven.”

NOVEMBER 1, 2002
“It’s windy out here in Yorksouth, fifty-second state of the United States of America,” Benjamin Franken said to himself, lonely out at the lake, in his canoe and carrying two paddles and a satchel of fish on his shoulder. “Looks like the shores are rising. I better mosey home and prepare the cod for dinner—and tell my wife I love her.”
In the waters murky and reminiscent of deep forest green, a scaly abomination hovered below his canoe, its scales sagging drifting away from its joints; its flaky skin was green like algae, and the dehydrated scales wafted alongside the current. Its eyes were a devilish rose, and its spine had gills like flaps on the wings of a commercial plane. Its teeth were sharp as blades; it carried thirty sets of fangs sharp-as-a-razor, like vampire teeth. Beneath the canoe the flesh of algae hue had a luminescent glow, which faded into a muddy brown with the colder currents headed in with the arriving with the fall.
It drifted away from the canoe, and as swift as it had left it returned; it returned quickly. It pried the man’s soul with its eyes, who knew he was being stalked as he drifted through the waters.
Benjamin said, “Oh by golly— the canoe appears to be sinking! Better get this bad boy back to shore before it sinks fully!” Slimy, rope-like tentacles enveloped the canoe, sinking it into the lake, as the fisher, Benjamin, hurried through the shallow waters, towards the lake shore. “By golly—help!
“My boat sank! Some creature—The Gill Man—The Creature—sunk it; he dragged it into the lake—help! My boat’s sunken! My boat’s sunken!”
From the trees, enshrouded in the charcoal shadows, a stubby wolf nose peeked. Across the lake, a hunter, rifle shouldered, looked back. The wolf emerged. “Name’s Rena Kaiz—what’s your business?”
“Mine?” asked Benjamin, confused.
“No. I’m talking to him.” Rena poked her nose across the lake.
Keshin said, “I am Keshin De Brosse-Zar: keeper of wolves, killer of wolves, hunter of hunters, and I carry the title of leader of Man’s Grudge.” The figures, enshrouded in the damp shade of the pine, reached each other from the ends of the lake; their pack trailed them closely. Silhouettes met where the Sun beamed on the shivering-cold fall day; their contours crossing like streams, their figures barely illuminated in the slowly fading daylight.
“I was selected by the council to carry the crown for my wolf brethren,” said Rena. “Since King Hawes’ murder by the vindictive were-beasts I was elected an heir Clan Dmarani’s throne now, alongside Ujare. Keshin poked Rena with his rifle. “Power doesn’t give you an inch of strength over us; you’re half as strong as we’re.”
Rena growled vindictively, “Let’s find out.” The figures were hemmed in by their clans. The ash-gray canines bellowed: the ash-gray canines hummed and chattered. The hunters cursed and mumbled insults.
Keshin shouldered his rifle and produced a katana from his coat. “This belonged to my father. When it has served its purpose it will be a gift to Genevieve Jones, maternal figure to Henry Jones—and it will have your contents, drawn from lacerations on your pupils as they bleed.” He slashed the hound with his glimmering, silver katana, leaving a slash thinner than a needle tucked in a pile of hay.
Rena promptly replied with a flurry of smites with her claws; she struck him with her talons. He angles his sword against his chest; he retaliates, quipping as he deals blows to Rena’s ear lobes, temporarily deafening her. The blurry figures dueled into the lakeside, the tides carrying their blood to the ocean. “You won’t win—Keshin—you won’t win.”
Keshin reacted by wielding his katana to violently belt Rena. “You don’t choose who wins.”
“You don’t either.” Rena evaded his lashings with precision, as the two battled through the shallow end of the lake. “Because we can both walk away unharmed.”
Keshin drifted into the air, a ring of thunder clouds circumscribing him. “That’s not a choice either,” said Keshin.
Bolts of lightning like-blades thrashed the waters, rising the tides, forcing Benjamin Franken to retreat. Rena was awe-struck as a cage of lightning developed. Keshin said, “Because I am Keshin De Brosse.”
Terrified, Rena crept back into the darkness with her pack. “What horrors did I just witness?”

Departure
Characters:
Elsword (Lord Knight)
Aisha (Elemental Master)
Rena (Grand Archer)
Plot:
The year is 1942, and America is heading off into war, and Elsword has received his drafting papers.
Note:
There’s a music video at the end. You don’t need to listen to it, but it just gets the vibe of WWII. Also, it’s Call of Duty. I love that game (WWII, not that futuristic one).
Story:
The year is 1942, the world was at war and young boys are being drafted to war. Elsword turned 18 and just graduated. He received a letter to join the army.
“So you really have to go, huh?” Rena asked. She was his guardian since his mother died from giving birth to him, his father died in combat a long time ago. And his sister... well...
“If I join... there’s a small chance I can find her again.”
“But... you’ll...” Rena was trembling. Elsword hugged her.
“It’s okay, I’ll survive. And bring back Elesis.”
Rena nodded and smiled. She couldn’t come with Elsword to the Bus Stop for she works at her flower shop today.
Aisha on the other hand was furious. She was waiting outside, she was gonna walk with Elsword before he leaves.
Elsword walked out the door, and see Aisha waiting.
“Hey,” Elsword said. “What are you doing here?”
“What? I just wanna see if it’s true.” Aisha said.
Aisha Landar is Elsword’s childhood friend. She’s been by her side to make sure he doesn’t cause any trouble. She also tutored him whenever he was having trouble at schoolwork. But now that they graduated, Elsword will be going to the military, while Aisha will stay.
“So you’re really leaving...”
“Yeah,” Elsword said. “I need to,”
“I know... but...”
“Don’t worry, I’ll keep myself out of trouble. Just do me a favor and watch over Rena for me? I can’t get shot without worrying over her.”
“...Is she the only person you’re gonna be thinking about?”
“Not really, I’m also gonna thinking about my sister. I mean, I just know that she’s alive. She joined the military and gave the boys the worst butt-whooping ever.”
Elsword and Aisha laughed, remembering the day she recruited into the army. She was the first woman to ever join the military.
“Hey... Elsword?”
“Yeah?”
“What are you gonna do after the war?”
“After the war?”
“Yeah, Obviously this war will end. It has to... right?”
Elsword was quiet, mostly because he can’t find an answer to that. In December 7, 1941, the U.S. had declared war against the Axis power for what they did in Pearl Harbor. Elsword wants to bring peace back to the world. And hopefully, his sister. His Sister was sent on a secret mission with the British against the Nazis. But there was no word from her since.
“Well... if the war does end. I don’t really know...”
“Huh?”
“All my high-school life I never thought about my future.”
“What?! Not even thinking about having a family?” The second Aisha asked that, she blushed.
“No... not really. I mean, sure I was popular back then. But, I never consider any of the girls pretty.”
“Why?”
Elsword looked at Aisha and then face the other direction. Ever since high-school, Elsword had a crush on Aisha. Elsword would give anything for a date with her. But he couldn’t do it. Because when Elsword asked her what kind of guy she’s into, she said she wasn’t into guys who are popular. And Elsword was the most popular guy in school. He tried to get out of that status, but failed terribly. He wanted to be his perfect guy, but he just couldn’t succeed. Then he got the draft letter.
‘Maybe I should tell her the truth...’ He thought. But he denied it, knowing that even if he does confess, she’ll reject him.
“Well... I never found the perfect girl,” Biggest lie in the world.
The two finally made it to the bus stop.
“So... this is my stop.”
“Yeah...” Aisha was quiet, which usually wasn’t her. Aisha would yell and nag at Elsword. But today was different.
“Aisha? Are you okay?”
“I’m just.... I’m just...” Aisha was shaking. By instinct, Elsword hugged her.
“I’ll come back Aisha...I promise.”
Aisha hug back, “I”m holding you to that promise.”
“Heh, can’t let my best friend’s life be boring,” That sting Elsword more than he endured. He hoped to be more than that, but not everyone can get what they want.
“Yeah...” Aisha said.
As Elsword got on the bus, he waved goodbye to Aisha. The second he stepped on that bus, he felt like he’s giving up something more then just his confession. But also, his life, his future, his innocence, everything. And yet, he’s willing to do accept it.
As the Bus was about to move, the Bus driver immediately stopped and honked.
“Hey!” He yelled. “Get off the street lady!”
“ELSWORD!”
Elsword heard his name and knew that voice. He ran up front and saw Aisha blocking the bus and calling him out. He asked the Bus driver to open the door so he can talk to her.
“Aisha! What are you doing?”
“I can’t...”
“Huh?”
“I can’t accept this!”
“Aisha, I have no choice. I have to go.
“No, not that...”
“Huh?”
“I can’t accept letting you go without telling you!”
“Telling me what?!”
“I love you...”
Those three words... that’s all that took. All Elsword wanted to say was those three words. But he couldn’t, because he was afraid of rejection. And yet, Aisha did it because rejection was nothing compared to the fact that Elsword may never come back. When Elsword realized this, he knew that he can’t accept that either.
“Aisha...”
“I’ve been in love with you for so long. I wanted to tell you, but I was scared. I was scared of being rejected. But now, I’m more scared of never seeing you again without telling you. I don’t want that. All I ever wanted is to be by your side. And now-”
Elsword interrupted her, by kissing her. He wanted to that for so long, and now that he did, he never want it to end. Sadly, they had to because they needed air and their in the middle of the road.
“Wow...” Elsword said. “I always wanted to do that.”
“Elsword...”
HONK HONK
The bus honked, bringing them back to reality. The reality that Elsword must go.
“I have to go, Aisha.” Elsword said.
Aisha didn’t want to let him go, but she has to.
“You better come back to me, Red,” She said.
Elsword smiled at his old nickname. Ever since they were little, she always called him that because of his hair.
He kissed her one last time, “I promise.”
And so, Elsword got back on the bus, and saying goodbye to Aisha, who would wait a thousand years him. And so would most of the women in America. But this war will take a toll. By the end of this war, there will be mothers without sons; wives without husbands; children without fathers. Why? Because those men left to fight a war, for their country. Yes... in America’s darkest moments, these band of heroes, these brothers in arms, they head off into combat... for they received the call of duty.

Kyulkyung||Pristin||Dont lie
REQUESTED: Pristin teasing kyulkyung bcs kyulkyung has a crush on reader scenario please. Bxg
IDOL X MALE READER
Tumblr media
Kyulkyungs face started to burn red, her palms began to sweat even more. Her eyes nervously glanced up at your figure passing by. She smiled a little when you unconsciously ran your fingers through your hair. Her eyes followed your every movements until you were sadly out of her sight.
The sound of someone clearing their throat made Kyulkyung look over. Seungyeon sat their with a knowing look on her face. Seungyeon laughed cheekily as she lightly smacked Kyulkyungs shoulder, making her whine.
“Why did you hit me?” Kyulkyung asked confused by the younger one’s actions
“You should just talk to him” Seungyeon stated making Kyulkyung blush again
“Talk to him? Who is him?” She began to play dumb
“Uh don't pretend you don't know. Y/N, Y/N L/N”
“Oh Y/N? Why would I talk to him?” Kyulkyung asked just as Nayoung and Yuha approached the two girls on the couch
“Whatcha talkin bout?” Yuha asked curious as to why Kyulkyung had a blush on her face
“Nothing-” Kyulkyung was soon cut off by Seungyeon
“I was just asking Kyulkyung why she doesn't talk to Y/N” the two girls nodded in unison now understanding
“Yeah Kyulkyung go talk to him, you two would be super cute together” Nayoung spoke up putting her thumb to her chin like she was saying something smart
“Guys stop, I don't like him” Kyulkyung argued back getting tired of their teasing
“I can just see it. It's a cold night, you shiver wishing you had brought a sweater when Y/N romantically hands you his jacket” Yuha started to say using her hands to emphasize the story. The other girls laughed, Kyulkyung just sat their with a bright red face regretting everything.
“Its obvious he likes her you know” the girls turned their head at the new voice, their eyes were met with Renas  figure.
“He likes her?” Nayoung asked
‘Well yeah, I was talking to him the other day and he mentioned that he liked Kyulkyung but he knew that she wouldn't like him back” the girls all smiled at the sudden information.
“Stop lying Rena” Kyulkyung looked away at her own words. As much as she wished that he liked her she knew that he did not. He probably thought she was weird
“I'm not lying!” Rena defended herself
“Rena, If Y/N liked me i'd literally die of happiness. Y/N is the most handsome guy I know and he is just perfect in everyway, but I know he doesn't like me, he just avoided me” Kyokugen felt like crawling into a ball and dieing. She started to feel really horrible about liking Y/N and she didn't know why.
“Im almost positive Y/N likes you” another new voice spoke up. At this point Kyulkyung was angry. She turned her head towards the voice really fast, ready to argue with whoever said it. Her eyes met with the same pair that she saw in her dreams every night. The girls began to giggle as they all stood up to take their leave. Kyulkyung felt her heart began to beat rapidly. She bit her lip suddenly nervous
“Y/N likes me?” she asked looking straight into your eyes
‘Oh yeah, he really likes you” you stated nodding your head fast. Kyulkyung began to laugh nervously.
“That's good because I also like Y/N” she looked into your eyes, blushing when they met
“I'm glad you like me. For awhile I really thought you didn't like me and that you actually hated me” Y/N laughed when he finished talking
‘I'm sorry i made you feel that way”
“Oh no its okay, im sorry I made you think I hated you”
“I was probably being delusional”
“Hey uh Kyulkyung?”
“Yeah Y/N?”
“Do you maybe want to go on a date sometimes?”
“I'd love that”
