ATTENTION WEBNOVEL READERS: Moving to Tapas!!

Hey, everyone! With Kindle Vella shutting down, I'm having to move all of my webnovels onto another platform. After much consideration, I have decided to go ahead and put them on Tapas for now. So, if you've been following my Vella stories, please be sure to subscribe to my page over there. I've still got to make the covers and am busy with a full-time job, so the move will take a bit of time. However, I'll be shifting things over little by little over the course of the next month.

For fans of Dark Origins, I've also decided to add it to Tapas as well since I've noticed other UT fanwriters posting their stories on the site. If I can ever tackle the comic like I want to again, I'll probably add it over there as well. Please note though that this doesn't mean I'll be removing Dark Origins on my other socials. — bad sanses [crescents] redesign

heyy! thought i'd make a lil debut/intro to my canon utmv (named blue's verse bc i am So Original) starting from night and the gang :]

if anyone has any questions about my verse, you're more than welcomed to ask!! i'd be happy to talk about these skellies bc they occupy most of my brain rn

Killer goes by Shiv while Horror goes by Axe based on their main weapons. Dust goes by Lav, short for Lavender. Nightmare still uses the same name, but the boys always call him Night :]

clothing notes (and extras):

Shiv is the one with the most fashion sense, but even he's been lazy and decided to just walk around wearing a funny t-shirt and shorts sometimes. Definitely the one who gets everyone clothes during supply runs (yes he's fashion besties with plum). Likes clothes with many pockets for storage, too! Whether that's got snacks or daggers in them, you'll just have to dig around yourself /lh

Axe wears lumberjack/farmer-esque clothing to hint at his connection to Farmtale! Farmtale is protected by Nightmare (in secret) as it harbors the last of Horrortale's survivors— the AU was too corrupted to sustain itself— while also being the Crescents' main food supply. The patched jeans and sleeveless vest are actually gifts from the Farm brothers. Them and Axe (+ Axe's brother, Oak) are very close, subsequently making Farmtale a second home to the Crescents.

Lav prefers oversized clothing and probably likes to use weighted blankets to ground himself. Shiv dresses him up most, and Lav just tells him to get dark/neutral clothes with purple accents for him. It feels nice to be taken care of. Usually wears a beanie/cap when he’s at home and is without his hood (has the shortest tail out of the trio, hides it well).

Night prefers fancy-casual because he knows how it feels to wear clothes that didn't fit/weren't comfy for him (still has his old crown, somewhere..). Definitely wears a nightrobe at home too. Technically the necklace is a vial of his own negativity(?) extracted by Sci. I wanted to make it so that everyone else has that on certain charms/pendants infused with that same negativity to act as a hidden tracker for Night to pinpoint where his boys are (and his own necklace could act as an emergency booster if Night gets too weak)

WEDDING AU! SPICYNOODLES!

[I love them both and I'll try my best to explain whats in it from this au]

This whole au lore is gonna take longer than you expect so try well- take notes or try not to get your eyes sore while reading-

Let's talk about:

Designs:

REDSON- So in that wedding- Redson wears a dress and that necklace she's wearing is his mother's ancestory necklace that was passed down on every person that is getting married.

The dress is color white [theres also shades of red ofcourse]

Mei is the one who braided redson's hair

There is a wedding ring from redson's left hand ring finger (not entirely shown because they have ofc lego hands.)

MK- wears a suit that has the color of black

That bandana's design- instead of red from pigsys he's having the color of orange and the two trail colors of green and red that symbolizes the traffic light trio which is mei and redson-

The flower ring he's wearing at his right hand middle finger is mei's promise. It's the promise they both kept about sticking to each other even if they are faraway.

The left hand from him is the wedding ring and the other ring Redson gave him as proposal.

JUST A LITTLE BACKSTORY: The Engagement ring was spoiled from a demon attack that yin and jin have been messing with them. The engagement ring is shown after the box flew off redson's pocket, when Mk saw the box he came into a big realisation that the whole date that was set up was for redson to propose to him.

But now it was accidentally spoiled and ruined redson's whole plan and it made them very upset to the point they almost got out of control with their own power.

When Yin and Jin apologized, Mk let redson propose properly since a while ago was an accident- Mei had to take care of yin and jin (not harmful way she just- took them out on like a snack and released em-) yin and jin had NO idea that redson was planning this.

(Mei talked out the stuff about this to yin and jin to make it clear)

MEI- Mei is known in the wedding as the 'best woman/man' one of those groom's right hand

Her bun tied hair has a trail of red that is aka Redson's color

And on her front bangs were mk's that are orange

At the back of her hair on lose it's supposed to be purple because it's macaque's since he and Mei bonded together like uncle and niece- but i lost my purple marker right there- the earrings designed that were supposed to be green- it was redesigned of having Mk's color since he was marked as the side who never left her

Mei wears a suit [thats already cleared because who does NOT want mei wearing one am i right? She's so girl boss hehe]

ABOUT:

Married [future au]

Redson in the future au- the samadhi fire is now back to his control than having Mei control over it because [I really thought it would be interesting since Mei already has her dragon ancestry powers so redson had his fire ability] there was quite alot of adventure the traffic light trio went through ever since before mk and red got married.

There was a power so strong that could transfer back his samadhi fire and almost took out half of Mei's consciousness thankfully she recovered fast.

Redson can now have full control from his powers now that the samadhi fire is in his control he's more stronger now.

In original human form for redson- he sometimes feel like insides of him are hurting and kinda really itchy for keeping his form in- and he was sometimes shy and thought it would be embarrassing to show his form out to them but when he got too comfortable he shows it- he fully shows the form when his own powers completely lost its temper while fighting a demon.

At the current future au- mk's design is human form when he's outside- and he has the monkey form when inside the fortress

Mk and redson have their own fortress than dbk's because it was their time to move out and probably take care one another-

Mk's bandana is dark red [than the red bandana he originally has from pigsy] and it has the samadhi fire symbol stamped orange color on the left side [my right] and the demon bull horns fused with a monkey logo stamped black on his right [my left]

Mk- The one he's wearing is a plain shirt and a red robe- an extra one for redson's red coat where he usually wears is now attached to his back.

Mk has a permanent black tattoo of a heart on his right arm

Redson has theirs on his left arm.

The two of them made swore to each other that their love is strong and will never give up that easily. And marking by words- this is carved on their arms.

Red's hair is cut short [mk's choice of picking-]

He doesn't wear the usual pants that were violets but it's red and there is orange patterns down.

His horns are grown out not the usually small ones since his powers gotten stronger and the samadhi fire he created that was given to mei was returned to his posession now- he has that cracked [chip?] On his left horn because of a demon attack.

[this was the proposal thing i explained back there- jin accidentally knocked redson off with a strong hit and chipped his horn that he did not meant to do it on purpose]

Redson has that samadhi fire permanently marked red on his right arm- to symbolize that him. Redson is the one who created it.

By the way redson sometimes wears mk's bandana when he tries to train himself for a fight [cuz his hair is on the way lol-]

Mei's design isn't shown on the future au yet but can be shown soon tho- her appearance is fully changed than her personality.

She's still the usual Mei as she was in the past but with memories and experiences of course.

She talks with Pif and Macaque [a headcanon that her and pif were setting on the wedding plan once they agreed to get married]

Mei and macaque talk about how strong mk and redson would be and their child at the future- and not only that- Mei sometimes teases macaque by actually marrying swk lmao-

Mei's hair is longer now- [s3 redson's hair limit when down] but she does a bun and half down hair- her dragon scales is shown from her cheeks and other parts of her body but not much- her outfit that she's wearing is her green jacket [not the one from the show but with the traffic light trio colors] pants are grey than white-

STUFF TO KNOW ABOUT REDSON AND MK'S FUTURE CHILD:

JUST TO TELL SOMETHING! IF YOU KNOW LEGO NINJAGO THEN YOU PROBABLY KNOW KAI!

Anyway the future au kai-

Kai- well we're unsure the fact of wether he's adopted or not that came out of Mk's thing but uh we stuck with not adopted-

Kai shows his true form when in the fortress but not outside where he trains with the rest of his friends [lloyd and the others except nya and master fu]

They both know about him and his parents so he couldnt hide this.

Nya [sister] isn't exactly part of the demonbullkey family but she's shown as a half/step sibling with kai when she comes to his fortress to play games and stuff like how mei and mk normally would do on arcades or monkey king games stuff.

So they stuck up with nya and kai pretending to be actual siblings from the group which master fu also sticked in,

Mk sees nya as mei to him because seeing how nya and kai get together in a platonic sibling like way- shows to him like he was seeing himself and mei in the past.

Redson-on the other- sees Nya [not a distraction] but a strong soldier like- that he would definitely want to adopt lmao but he doesn't say it because he and mk know that nya has parents and they would never adopt her without the parents's approval-

Nya's parents doesn't know about kai's parents but kai's parents knows them- but they never say or talk to her parents because of personal reasons- and especially being the known Monkey Successor and the Dbk's son aka the one who created the samadhi fire.

Redson and Mk talked to Master fu right after kai got in the group and accidentally showed his true form to the master- he was shocked at first- so kai told him that he'll bring his parents to understand some things-

In the end of the conversation masterfu will pretend that kai's parents are normal just like the rest of the groups parents and that him and Nya are siblings.

They didnt manipulate him or anything- masterfu has known the tales and gossips about jttw, the great sage sun wukong, and the new successor, hell even the samadhi fire- redson was the one who created the samadhi fire and samadhi's have many elements which include FIRE written down and there was no way he missed that.

What he didn't know was that the successor and the demon bull prince were courting and got engaged-

Because as far as he knew- sun wukong and Dbk fought before and used to be allies from the brotherhood now that it has been broken- turns out after hearing redson and mk speak about swk and dbk they both made peace and truce allies again- after years of separation since they still consider together as allies-

master fu was still kind of a fan but he doesnt show his energy, he covered up kai's secret and talked things out to them.

One of those- speeches where "ninjas are meant to fight enemies and yada yada stuff" "evil demons such as mortal beings who threats the whole world" which redson sarcastically points to himself saying that he USED to take over the world after freeing his father dbk out- and mk just chuckled-

Master fu arranged his own tone trying not to show that he felt like he offended redson. As he was saying- if kai doesn't do anything such as hurting the group physically meaning it to them then there is no biggie.

Kai clarified to himself that he wanted to join as a ninja to be part of a purpose and be stronger like his parents for the next generation.

This really made a big chance for his life to change and it did. Mk and redson are proud of him honestly.

Like Red was- "my son is grown up and he's stronger than me I'm tearing up" mk in the other is like "we're proud parents, we raised him well"

Kai's demon form:

He shows his true demon form at their fortress, since he's part of the DemonBullKey family he pays his own respect.

Kai has small horns [it was ok since redson used to have small horns as well]

He has bull ears, a monkey mark thing on his face, and a monkey tail.

His power has fire powers. And the other half is Mk's.

Kai has longer hair when he shows his true form.

Now some people question me alot from tiktok about some things:

Why is Nya not part of the DemonBullKey family?

Who is the top or bottom?

Why is it called Demon Bull Key family?

How is SWK and DBK handling this engagement with Mk and Redson?

Are SWK and DBK good with terms now that their sons are both married?

Answers:

Nya isn't part of the DBKey family [in my opinion] because I dont find something that would fit on her but just as a step sibling to kai [she has water powers and the dbkey family uses fire and strength]

Mk is mainly top, Redson is bottom. Either of it. Depending on both of their moods- sometimes Red is top and Mk is bottom- theres even times they're both bottoms and both tops at the same time- [doesn't matter]

The reason why it's called DemonBullKey family is because Redson takes the name of their 'Demon Bull' family that was passed down to him. And mk as a 'great successor' of swk he also takes half of the name. [I didnt find the 'monkey' fitting so it's short for Monkey that's why it's called 'Key' only]

Since swk and dbk still stick with eachother they may be sworn brothers but they still treat themselves some respect. It was honestly shocking for them because neither of them knew that they were courting. But at the end they're good and talked things out.

Swk and dbk are in good terms, they promised their sons that they stay strong in the future.

Pigsy and Tang [are married before Redson proposed to Mk btw] they both used to hate redson because back in the days he was trying to KILL Mk for that staff now that redson doesn't want it anymore and helped them with things about defeating lbd or spiderqueen, not to mention when mk told them both about how he saved his, Mei, and Sandy's life from that desert. They approved their courting on one condition, it is to NEVER hurt Mk's life. Redson accepts and said he would protect Mk from his life.

Macaque and Swk's relationship are both taking it slow. They don't want to move fast or anything- so it's better if slow.

Mei is alright, she may not have seen or talked much with mk these days but they both still remember eachother from time to time. Mei has alot of things to do while Mk does to. But she oftenly visits the fortress occassionally or even when they're not doing anything important.

Mei is upset, not to the point that Mk got married and that they both dont see eachother often now. She's upset that things will never be the same again like how it used to be. But she lives on with it.

Back when Redson and Mk officially announced to them that they both are in a relationship, Mei squeals from excitement. She has their full support and warned Redson not to hurt him at all or anything in the future. He has her words.

If you guys remembered S3 and looked back- the first ring of the samadhi fire episode. Seeing the part where mei takes photos of mk hugging redson while he pushes him. And also S2 when Mei heared that he helped mk beat his dad with a smirk. I bet she knew right there that there was a part of redson that she didn't know but have this- chemistry going on with mk all along and continued to develop without them knowing.

Macaque surely knew about this, takes place after S3 Macaque and Mei have their own conversations and said also stuff about mk and redson would possibly get married in the future [which they did] Macaque just smiled knowing that they both will soon.

Theres a reason why. Back in S2 The Skeleton Key episode is the part Redson revealed where Mk lives, and on that location that was shown. I had a hunch Pif suddenly knew because Redson is having an obsession with Mk (based on how much he mentions 'noodleboy' heheh) in S4 at the end of the episode where the Db family and the Mkid Squad are at the beach. Mei and Pif both get to talk about redson and mk's status now, theres also Macaque on the other side who placed bets.

When Kai is born, his form is shown to have monkey tail and small bull ears.

Redson- he got too worried that mk wouldnt make it after he gives birth with kai, but after looking at the baby, he was really really happy and wanted to hug mk so much. [Also kiss him hehe]

Pigsy- he saw the beautiful baby sweet angel and is happy that Kai was born [like any other grandpa who wants grand children-]

Tang- he was glad that Mk didn't pass out- god it took longer. And the baby is adorable for him to look at.

Sandy- he gets to be the one giving the baby some baby bottles for milk because baby kai is just- CUTE

Mei- when mei first carried baby kai in her arms she was in tears of joy and really happy that kai was born in this world, she's proud of her bestfriend.

Swk- swk is shocked [how the baby has mk's features and redson's as well] he is really happy for mk

Dbk- the happier kai was born he wanted to cook meals for kai when redson and mk drops off at the demonbullking fortress. (Like any other grandfather what does to their grandchildren they give them really delicious meal 😋)

Pif- pif's reaction when kai was born, she's like any other bossy mothers who gives anything for her child.

Macaque- his reaction shows less but does enjoy keeping mk company. Even tho mk didnt want macaque here but he did apologize to him a bunch of times.

Nezha- His reaction shows that he is also happy and excited that this would include kai's celebration

Bai- since bai is mk's [lil step sister] bai doesn't see mk much but she talks to them over the phone, she's out for family vacation with her parents and well- doesn't get to visit them much. But bai still considers mk as her big brother, she hopes that baby kai would grow into a strong and a nice person.

And yes! Kai has a babysitter! He has three actually- theres Sandy, then there Mei, but if both of them are busy then theres Tang or Macaque- (honestly who even put Macaque incharge?)

Bai in the future au she's gotten older now and her long hair is still there, she still wears the same headband. When she has free time she goes to Pigsys Noodles to visit, or even talk to Macaque again about how things are going.

Yes, redson grew a beared. It was the part where i posted about- <Me and My Husband> after a few months has passed since the wedding and he started regretting his life decisions. But now him and mk are together everything just- changed. Mk and red had their little talks and they both smiled trying to carry the future on.

They both do get into little fights (not an actual problems) like- "hey im supposed to be the one to cook! Thank you honey" "You're cheating at this game" they sometimes have bigger problems but they still worked it out. It's not good if one of them handles it too much.

Mk does- well- help gardening with Redson, they both share moments and memories together and other stuff. Like a family.

For mk I'm still not sure what job he'd have now that he quit from pigsys noodles.

And no, he doesn't work as a noodleboy not after him and red are married now and moved out from the apartment.

Redson calls him Noodleboy sometimes but mainly he calls them by their real name now that Mk told him his name is Qi Xiaotian. (Sometimes red doesnt feel much of calling mk honey or babe since he doesn't find it soothing to him)

YES they both live in the same room. With a big bed! Theres a side from Mk's and the other side is redson's. There are also pictures of Mk and Redson at the wedding day, and also the day they both were officially dating.

The two of them share the same bed! Who doesnt? Married couples do!

This is actually hilarious, kai asked Mk how him and redson first met. They were at the dining table and redson spat out his drink after he asked that. Mk's reply was also funny! "Well- your dad and I met when I accidentally fell from the top- thats the part where i got the staff and well-' "we both used to be enemies- and that i-" "tried to kill me?" Kai's eye just widened and he was so speechless regretting that question he asked..

Mk and redson were wearing the same outfit that they both wore in s3

Lets say they both took 3-4 dates until redson proposed

The first date is took place on the arcade, mk told redson it was a 'hangout without mei' without him knowing it was a date. Next thing mk told him after was that- it wasn't a hang out and it was a date. This made redson thought about it and he was so dumbfounded.

The second date is before redson confessed his feelings to mk (not the 'i like you' part yet) but he told him how much he felt inside of him from. A long time now, and mk told him he felt rhe same as well.

It was after the second date, when Pigsy asked redson what he has been up to. Taking mk spending his own time with him- pigsy wanted to beat him up. Until mk gathered the squad around together. Mk slowly told them about him and redson's relationship while holding redson's hand. Telling them that they are both in a relationship now. Pigsy is in lost of words he almost fainted, Tang is supportive and also cares about mk's decision. Sandy is highly supportive and mei as well. 'Just dont hurt the lil guy'

Yes, the dinner is held at the demon bull fortress where pigsy and dbk both cook for each others taste. The feast and the conversations were great! And even dbk and pigsy talked about chang e's cooks.

For when, it was at the last episode of S4 where they both were in the beach. Redson and Mk were both playing on the sea until a big wave hit mk and accidentally put force from his whole body into moving towards redson. And then shwala they kissed

Beta Pokémon (Generation V) Designs Doodles

On August 2024, Game Freak had a data breach in which nearly a terabyte of data was leaked on 12 October 2024. One one hand, it revealed never before seen cut content. On the other hand, unfortunately, personal information about the employees were leaked. (Yes, I feel bad about what happened to them because I think leaking personal information about the employees is the worst part of an Internet leak.)

Two days later, one of my female friends I have met face-to-face showed me a picture that includes an earlier version of Simisear. This made me to have a itch for curiosity, so I had to look up the Internet without having to visit Twitter (now called X) directly. Luckily, the contributors from The Cutting Room Floor (TCRF) provided information about the leaks. Therefore, I took the sprites that they provided and put them as a reference for the artist's impressions of these prototypical Pokémon designs. In the case of Oshawott, she showed me a poorly drawn concept art of Oshawott, which is apparently the first drawing of that Pokémon ever, and I had to copy and paste the picture by using a flash drive.

Out of all 156 Pokémon, which most of them had earlier sprites, I had picked six Pokémon for this dedicated fan art:

Snivy, like its evolved forms, was originally going to be greenish blue. It also had a closer resemblance to its fully evolved form, but its feet is similar to its hands.

Tepig was originally going to have a orange-and-dark-brown palette.

Oshawott is the last Unovan Starter Pokémon to be conceived. However, there are no earlier designs about its evolved forms, as the designers were concerned on what to make it evolve into after watching sea otters in a zoo. Before it was finalized, Oshawott's Japanese name was "Suikko", then "Rakkomaru".

Lillipup was originally going to be a mere small Herdier, possibly due to the fact that Herdier might be one of the first conceived Pokémon to be introduced in said generation. At some point during the development, Lillipup was reworked to be more adorable and furrier, before being given a longer tail and its current palette. Its early Japanese name was "Papii" before settling to its final Japanese name, "Yorterrie".

While early sprites of Simisage and Simipour are similar to the ones used in the final, Simisear was noticeably chunkier. In earlier builds, the Pokédex stated that Simisear likes sweet berries and sleeping. Simisear was redesigned to have a similar physique as the other two of the Monkey Trio, likely either for consistency or for fears of letting players down.

It was once stated that Deinos's evolution line was originally based on military tanks. They were eventually reworked into more organic, furry dragons. This early version of Pokémon in particular is Zweilous, which was originally green in colour.

That's all of the information I have told through my eyes and from memory. Out of all beta versions of Pokémon that were introduced in the Generation V, which one is your favourite?

So I’ve been drawing this today

It’s a redraw of this picture I made a good 3 or so years ago

Funny enough, this isn't technically the origin of the picture either, as I made a pose base for it that I just ended up reusing with these two, which was originally taken from a Pokémon anime screenshot that featured Jesse and Steven in wedding outfits (I don't think I have a picture of that original)

Anyways, so I made this because I was drawing these guys again, as you already know, and I just wanted to redraw this piece, seeing as how I was already redesigning them. This also gave me a good time to figure out Rasmus' green design

Also note I ended up asking my friend for ideas with the trio's new names, and she suggested Cinder for Rasmus. The name fits his theme, but I don't know if I'm personally sold yet. Personally, I like Cedar but upon looking it up, cedar isn't really a dark brown color, if anything it's more red, so

I did end up changing his colors to a more yellowish hue, which made me think of olives. So I think I might make his birth name Olive

I feel like Olive is seen as a more feminine name, while Basil would be more masculine, when it's the opposite here. Ah well

I tried to give them more "western" style outfits, but I really did end up just making something up. I think it turned out fine though

The flower in Periwinkle's hair is supposed to be like a rose, but I don't actually know how to draw roses, and can only vaguely remember how a super cartoony rose I saw was drawn, so have a flower that's kind of just...something

Also, she doesn't normally wear a flower in her hair, but the depicted scene is supposed to be when they got married, so it's a special occasion. They eloped to be together, so their marriage wasn't really much of anything other than paperwork and a nice dinner, but it was still a very happy day for them

I was originally going to give them the normal colored outlines I give characters, but I got this dark blue and was like "screw it, make that the whole outline color" and so I did. Gives me a blue ballpoint feel and I like it. I did do Olive's horns a different color, but I usually draw those horns like that, it just doesn't look right with normal line colors

And I just realized I forgot their tails. They do have them, but I keep forgetting they exist when I draw them. I mean I suppose they aren't that important, but still

Also, while I wasn't able to portray it, Olive is supposed to be very fluffy. It didn't feel entirely right to have his chest fur be out so you can see it, and I was struggling with giving the characters chin fur prior, so I didn't put that. I do have to come up with a solution to that. It is something he mourns but isn't that pressing in the grand scheme of the disaster he found himself in

Also while we're here, I might as well explain some backstory between these two

So Periwinkle comes from a rich, aristocratic family while Olive came from a somewhat poor one, where he and his mother worked at the local tavern. Olive's parents had him young and on accident, and a few years in his dad dipped due to his rising music career (though he did regularly send them some of his earnings), and Basil's pretty bitter about the whole situation

Anyways, so Perri and Olive eventually met and fell in love. However, Perri's family disapproved of their romance due to Olive's status, and Basil disapproved because this was exactly how she got into her situation (it wasn't exact, the two couples had very different relationships, but it was close enough for Basil to see their relationship as rubbish). So they eventually decided to run away so they could be together, with some help coming from Perri's sisters, who thought that Olive's status also didn't matter and they knew he was a good guy

Things would end up going horribly for them, but at least for a couple years, they were happy together

And yeah, that's this. Legit, I'm really proud of how this redraw came out, and I like looking at the clear improvement

I wanted to really go with the 'diva' theme plus make her more alien, I decided that all the additional little moon like gemstones are extra eyes fndkja. and I think she'd have those like: shiny tinsel strands in her hair. and I also think her hair would be rooted and not a wig: but it could work either way. anyway: her skirts a super sparkly tule material and the beads are permantly attached to the skirt and shirt. the earings i think are glued on too but the headband tiara thing would be removable. also her skin would be like, dusted with sparkly white freckles <3

ari roma novi stars redesign: tbh I have mixed feelings on how this one came out. I iike a lot of the concepts but something bout it looks... messy? unfinished? I think it justs needs a little polish and maybe I'll do that at some point. anyway, I really wanted to keep her original hair (they're called afro puffs I think??) and the one super long strand. Maybelle leans into the dark comedy side, she died at a young age and is very much like, a fucked up little ghost child. shes very cruel and enjoys others suffering. actually shes a little bit like jax from tadc lmao. Luella is super energetic and happy go lucky. she also writes fanfic. Okami is an amnesiac and a cosplyer as a play on the phrase 'wolf in sheeps clothing'

can you tell us more about your ocs Agony and Whispy from insta? I liked their design a lot! especially Whispy he’s cool!

👁👁 Oh! You are asking about them! Oh gosh, they're bit complexe but I'll do my best to explain them! They are. . . probably the darkest characters that I have.

They were originally a trio but there is one of them that I don't use anymore for personal reasons. They have been sorta sitting in their own lore without much direction for a while. But I brushed them off a few months ago thinking they would be good antagonists for the Nightmare Collector, since they are all about facing your fears and these two... are more like a breeding ground for letting your fears eat you alive.

The basis of these two are... pretty symbolic and personal to me and my own experiences, they are in a nutshell beings that represent and feed off of two sets of very negative emotions.

Agony is the more straightforward of the two, he represents rage, the feeling of being blinded by rage. He is childish, he is aggressive, and he is very selfish. He doesn't tend to think, more prone to actions with not much thought of what gets broken in the process. Making him very reactive and has you feeling like you are walking on eggshells because of his volatile nature. All the things said and done while blinded by rage. Too angry to admit they've done wrong. Too proud, too angry to admit they've hurt others. Because their pain takes center stage.

Whispers (Also who maybe renamed to be called Paranoia) delves into the more of the inner mental conflict side of things like depression. He is soft spoken, he is charismatic and he's calculating. He specializes more in manipulative talking, while Agony is more like emotion and reaction. Whispers is the words, the thoughts that has someone going around in around in their own dark little mind. Trapped in a maze where you can't find your way out of. Which is why his redesign is very tendrily-- ended up being wrapped up in those words while chances of getting out are going... going... gone.

They are like... creaturized concepts of human pysche <:) But they aren't very nice. And I shall share pictures later! When I can!

#1 The Main Racer:

Vanellope Von Schweetz (D-Side)

Alias: Teen Vanellope

Created and inspired by: Turbomun

• Princess Vanellope is an energetic young girl, lively and full of spunk. Curious and fun-loving, she's adventurous, enthusiastic and determined. Although she can be sassy, feisty and teasing, she has a sweet pure heart and is friendly, kind and forgiving. She is innocent but optimistic, and always tries to see good in people. While Vanellope doesn't particularly mind being Princess, she sees herself as a better racer than a ruler. As a natural tomboy, she prefers being casual as opposed to formal, proper and ladylike, and often attempts to avoid having to do "boring royal stuff." She doesn't see herself above anyone else just because she's royalty, but is still caring and helpful to everyone in the Kingdom whether or not she's wearing a crown. Vanellope, like her best friends, loves racing and is very passionate about it. Even though they may sometimes disagree, she loves her fellow racers and looks up to them more than anyone else.

#2 The Sugar Rush Trio:

1. Taffyta Shortcake (Taffyta Muttonfudge D-Side)

Inspired by: Strawberry Shortcake from Bitty City Adventures

• Taffyta Shortcake is not only the cool, most popular racer in Sugar Rush, but a hard-working woman who runs the Sugar Rush Cafe and later, the Sugar Rush Market. Taffyta Shortcake is open-minded and very kind, her guidance or opinion is sought out by many. Unlike her original counterpart (Taffyta Muttonfudge), She has a twin sister named Strawberry Shortcake who is far far away, living in Berry Bitty City as they both have something in common. Taffyta Shortcake is the first leader of the Sugar Rush Trio.

2. Count Roman Chocula (Rancis Fluggerbutter D-Side)

Inspired by: General Mill's Count Chocula cereal and Reese's Puffs

• Roman Chocula is the son of Count Chocula, just like his father, he behaves like a friendly version of Dracula. However unlike his father, he's not cowardly, or easily frightened by other supernatural creatures and general jump scares either. He softens goes tired of his father having petty arguments with his fellow Cereal monsters over whose Cereal is better. of whose Cereal is better. He has 3 mothers that married to Count Chocula known as The Brides of Chocula; Darla Chocula (her theme is Dark Chocolate), Winnie Chocula ( her theme is White Chocolate), and of course Pamela Chocula (Her theme is Peanut Butter). He is also often to hang out with his fellow friends Taffyta Shortcake and Lucy Candlehead as they're all part of the racers' trio. He is the second member of the Sugar Rush Trio.

3. Lucy Candlehead (Candlehead D-Side)

Inspired by: Luigi from the Super Mario Bros series

• Lucy Candlehead is portrayed as timid, cowardice, worrisome and self-conscious in many of her appearances, especially since Candlehead's Mansion. In spite of these shortcomings, Lucy can be heroic and overcome these setbacks, such as in the Candlehead's Mansion series, where she goes on various journeys to rescue her brother Mark Candlehead. Clearly she's an Italian racer who has the same personality as Luigi himself and lives in her mansion where all the ghosts that have been haunting and bothering her for quite sometime and yet she gets annoyed, while her brother Mark is working in the Panetteria making sweet italian pastries. She's also the third member of the Sugar Rush Trio.

#2 The Crazy Criminal & The Cool Cop:

Cherrylina Bomb-Bomb (Jubileena Bing-Bing D-Side)

Inspired by: Harley Quinn from DC universe

• Cherrylina Bomb-Bomb is a former girlfriend of the Jell-O Joker and is currently a single woman. Since breaking up with Jell-O Joker, she has led and founded a ragtag crew of villainous misfits and briefly became a member of the Legion of Lord Licorice. Afterwards, Cherrylina realizes she does not feel like a villain anymore and decides to be a vigilante as a crimefighter. In the end, Cherrylina realizes the fact she is not hero material and thus leaves her vigilante skills, later joining the newly created, Sugar Rush Sirens. She is known to be the Mistress of Mayhem and the Jester Princess of Crime.

Officer Citrusella Blueburry (Citrusella Flugpucker D-Side)

Inspired by: Judy Hopps from Zootopia & Sonic the Hedgehog

• Citrusella Blueburry is a fiercely optimistic and independent. Since childhood, she had harbored a dream to become a police officer, to make the world a better place. She cares for well-being of others, and is always willing to extend a helping hand. Officer Citrusella hates oppression and staunchly defends freedom. Although she is mostly quick-witted and easygoing, she has a short temper and is often impatient with slower things. Officer Citrusella is a habitual, daredevil police officer and racer who is honest, loyal to friends, keeps her promises and dislikes tears. She's a mix of both Sonic and Judy Hopps's personality. She is known as the Blue Blur Police and the Fastest Driver Alive.

Original owl Digimon

Another digifake post with an evolution line. For previous posts see Aztec, Moth, and Crab. All members of this line are data-attribute.

At the Rookie/Child level is Hootmon. It is a shy and solitary Digimon that lives in the deep forest and prefers to avoid danger. It has a scholarly mindset and carries great knowledge of the woodlands, which it will share with those who can track it down. As with many other bird Digimon of this level, it is a poor flyer. Its attacks are Scratch Flap, where it attack with the claws on its wings, and Hooting Song, where it sings a song that induced drowsiness.

I like how dapper Hootmon is. I based it on the burrowing owl and tried to give it the marking of the owl, but couldn't make it look good with my limited skills. These are more concept art than finished designs and I do want to comi$sion a better artist some day.

Hootmon evolves to Scoutmon. Scoutmon is a master of stealth that can move unseen and unheard through the forest. The crossbow it carries can unleash a variety of trick bolts with unique effects, but it cannot aim while flying as its hands are on its wings. Thus it is a good sniper, but fares poorly in close combat. Its moves are Sniping Shot, where it carefully lines up a shot at a vulnerable target from a distance, and Trick Shot, where it shoots off one of its trick bolts for a variety of effects.

Scoutmon evolves into Strixmon. Strixmon is a master of stealth and infiltration that can dispatch its enemies before they realize it is present. Because of this, it is viewed as an ill omen for you may never know if a Strixmon is lining up a shot at you. Strixmon can see in perfect darkness and move without making a sound. The rifle it carries fires armor-piercing rounds that can hit a target with pinpoint accuracy from miles away. While more skilled at close combat than Scoutmon, it still prefers ranged combat. Its moves are Sniping Shot, where it fires its rifle at the target's weak spot, and Strix CQC, where it strikes at close-range enemies with its combat knife, claws, and beak.

Strixmon's name comes from the Greek word for Owl, but is also a mythical bat-owl creature that is an omen of bad luck. If I do a redesign of this line, I may play more into the mythological aspects of the strix.

The Mega/Ultimate level form of Hootmon is Shalimon. Shalimon was upgraded into a cyborg to become the Digital World's ultimate master of stealth and assassination. Its weapons are the twin "Shahar" plasma cannons, which are accurate enough to hit a grain of sand from a hundred miles away. Shalimon has a built-in cloaking device that lets it become invisible and it can fly to the edge of the Digital World's atmosphere to shoot targets on the ground, who will be deleted with no idea they were even being targeted. Shalimon can retract its arms and legs into its body and transform into the shape of a stealth plane to move at high speeds and engage in dogfights. Its moves are Shahar Snipe, where it fires its "Shahar" plasma cannons at its foes, and Owl Obliteration, where it engages in close combat with its razor-sharp wings and built-in grenade laucher.

Shalimon is one of a group of Digimon I've designed that are all part of three trios: Vaccine, Virus, and Data; day, night, and twilight; and warrior, mage, and rogue. All three have the namesakes of gods from different cultures. The other two are in previous posts and are Huitzimon (Virus, day, warrior) and Nyxmon (Vacccine, night, mage). Shalimon fills the role of Data, twilight, and rogue. Its name comes from Shalim, the Ugaritic god of dusk. Shalim had a counterpart god named Shahar who was the god of dawn and became the namesake of Shalimon's weapons. Shalimon being split between black and white is supposed to represent it being between day and night. I brought a few trends into this evolution line. The different members get more advanced weapons, going from claws to a crossbow to a sniper rifle, to a cyborg with plasma cannons. All members also have some form of eyewear until Shalimon gets robot eyes.

which one of your Kwamis took the most time to create?

This is actually a hard question to answer, because so many of my kwamis went through so many different stages. Take my boy Graay for example-- he was my first OC kwami, and originally he was a kwami of Balance in a trio with Tikki and Plagg, he was the "price" of the wish, essentially. He was always Graay the Wolf who loved grapes and hated humans, but he's gone through so many changes since my original idea of him.

Originally he was going to be in a North American, his Miraculous not part of any Box, going to be found by a young girl who eventually changes his perception of humans. Also the holder that betrayed him was actually going to be a good person who sacrificed his very soul to save Graay, but Graay didn't realize it until years later. But the Graay I have today is very different than my original Graay, who while I've always had a Wolf kwami from the beginning, so you can say he took the most time to create with how much of his story changed even if his basic name and design was always the same.

Another kwami who went through a lot of change was Yuume. Yuume was always going to be an evil Sheep of Dreams, but my first version of him was of an ancient kwami who never got a Miraculous which made him bitter, and used Dreams to communicate with humans to act out his evil schemes. Now Yuume is a young kwami who does have a Miraculous-- and he hates that fact.

Then you have someone like Zipp, who've redesigned three times now (third version hasn't been posted yet) and I'm still I'm not sure I'm happy with it-- so he may be going through many more changes.

Or you have Koree, who was originally a Raccoon of Darkness named Corri (who was named a variation of Dusk before that) who I kept abandoning, then bringing back, then changing, then changing again, etc.

Then there's others whose concepts I've had for a while-- since I've started watching Miraculous I wanted a Snake kwami named Habu; but my friends told me not to bother because there was going to be a Snake kwami later on (this was when I was still catching up with the show). But what do you know the idea stuck around anyways and now I have Habuu my Rattlesnake and I love her.

Finally there's kwamis that just took forever to come up with and get right. When I decided on the idea of Alpha Kwamis and wanted to to make Graay part of a duo, I knew I wanted a Chaos kwami to be his other half. But it took me forever to figure out what animal I wanted for this Chaos kwami. At one point they were going to be a Dinosaur (a raptor of some kind if I remember right) named Voidd, but then I dumped that idea very quickly. I went through a lot of different animal ideas, asking others for their opinion on a Chaos animal, etc. I was stumped on creating a Chaos kwami for a long time, until it hit me that the perfect animal was right there the whole time: the platypus. A semi-aquatic, egg laying mammal (of action) with venomous spurs, looks like a combination of several animals, lacks a stomach, basically "sweats" milk, glows under UV light, can sense electricity... and I could go on. xD But perfect Chaos animal.

From there everything about Prrysm fell into place. I wanted her to have a hard time maintaining a physical form, to glitch in and out of reality, to be a rainbow of colors (which is where she got her name), and yeah.

This turned out to be a bit of an essay. xD But these are the ways I've had kwamis take the "longest", all in different ways.

After considering for a long time, I caved in today and decided to create more Twinsomnia OCs!

This little kids’ name is Leon! He’s a 5 year old adopted kid who’s obsessed with anything and everything space related. Because he’s an orphan, he’s def got some of that mandatory secret traumatizing backstory that haunts him but I haven’t concluded what exactly. Yet 🙂

At first, I wanted him to have this toy space helmet that he wears 24/7 and have him have poofy hair that takes up space (pun intended) in there, but I wanted to try something else for fun, so I gave him braids instead because braids are cool 👍🏾 I also switched his little star onesie for an astronaut one ‘cause that’s what he wants to be when he grows up!

I played with his shape language a couple of times to see how unique I can make him look, however I got stuck so I’m ultimately going with the classic “tiny body big head” look and will hopefully redesign him more along the way.

(P.S: I know it says his name’s Louie on this drawing but I eventually switched it to Leon because it just. Fits him better 🤷🏾‍♀️)

This is Nicole! (For now…or not, I haven’t decided quite yet). She’s 12 years old and the older sibling of Leon, who’s adopted to her family, and uh…she’s pretty much your average stuck-up teen girl in children’s coming of age movies. ✨With a soft spot!✨

The first time I drew her (sketch on the right)—well, I liked it, but the way she turned out wasn’t what I was trying to go with. She looks 16-17 in this one, and I specifically wanted her to look a bit younger.

Designing her was kind of a hassle, especially because she either A) Didn’t look the exact age I wanted her to look in my eyes, and B) Her hair made her look like Megatron from the Transformers G1 series.

But EVENTUALLY, I came across a design that I absolutely ADORE! I just changed her hair a bit from straight to a lil curly and BAM! My favorite character of this trio <3

And now the Shadow Thing…I don’t really feel like posting my process for this thing because I despise it for existing and tormenting Leon and Nicole. And because I ran out of room to add more photos. The closest thing we can get to a design process of it is from my Twinsomnia detective “episode” post.

I didn’t plan on making it an actual OC at first, but I eventually came back to it when I needed a character interpretation for the fear of the dark. The Shadow Thing is basically similar to the Boogieman in the sense that it desires to feed off of children’s fears until they’re left traumatized. Yay. Fun.

Aaand to top this whole thing off, here’s some fun facts about these three! (mainly Nicole and Leon)

Nicole is Jamaican American (she has a Jamaican father and American mother) and Leon is African-American (The ethnicity of his past parents are unknown).

The Shadow Thing has similar shape-shifting abilities as the twins, except it can only take the form of anything scary.

Nicole has braces! And she hates it. She’ll attack anyone who reminds her that she does both physically and mentally. Even Leon.

The reason behind Leon’s left eye being hidden is because there’s a nasty scar on it. The eye already has a bandage over it, but he still hides it because he’s embarrassed by it :(

Speaking of eyes: Leon and Nicole originally were supposed to have each other’s eye shape, but I switched them up last minute!

Leon adore’s the twins. Nicole hates them. (I say hate but we all know she likes them deep down <3)

Nicole’s a complete phone addict and kiiiindaaa spoiled. She was having the time of her life being a pampered only child before her parents adopted Leon. Now she gotta learn to be humble >:(

Icy, the Ice witch queen The coldest-hearted witch of Cloud Tower! I wanted her to look like an actual leader, kind of with a "Snow Queen" vibe!. She's ambitious, proud, and ruthless, and you won't want to be in her way!

Darcy, witch of illussions Originally my favorite of the trio! I really liked the chemistry she had with Riven in the first season, so I took inspiration from that to do a more... seductive version of her! Being the Witch of Darkness with the power of creating illussions, I imagine her being very aware of appearances and how to use them to manipulate people. I also updated her (kind of hippie-looking) style to a Nu Goth / Hipster Goth / Hippie goth, Which I felt fitted this version really well, and changed her racial features to some more middle-eastern ones, since we could use some more diversity in this group! Also her tattoos are probably magical as well.💫

Stormy, the storm witch Stormy's outfit was always my favorite, so it was SO HARD to change!!! 😭😭 But I wanted to give her a powerful, punk style that matched her chaotic personality, and here we are! 🌩 Also I reinterpreted her as afro-descendant, since I TRULY wanted to turn that curly hair of hers into a full afro 😍. Also and as a little detail, her "witch hat" is actually an afro comb. And I'm LOVING IT 😍

Now that I finished my Danny design, what do u think of the main character redesigns as well as Paulina’s?

YES everyone go look at these right now (Danny / Sam / Tucker / Jazz / Valerie / Paulina)

The short answer is that I love them, you put in a lot of heart, style, and personality while keeping the characters recognizable in a very elegant way. I know you've talked a lot about the thought that went into your design choices already, so I'm just going to go over a few of my favorites

Danny - the little pins on his jacket! the goggles! the platforming on his boots that resemble astronaut tread! the kind of dorky kind of cool kind of both factor of both his short sleeved hoodie and his vest!

Sam - the DRAMA of Sam's outfit! the specific little detail that her boot tread is spikier! the variation in tones of purple so the design flows well without becoming cluttered! the pops of green not just in the skirt but also in the necklace and hairties! the little mole!

Tucker - I like that his color pallet has a lot of his original browns, greens, and yellows, for soothing neutral/earth tones, and that you've switched out the red for a calmer blue; his color pallet has always been my least favorite to work with, and this is much nicer, and lends itself well to the sense of Tucker as the person who most in their trio would be happy with things more mellow and as they were. But he's got his own sense of excited, interests, and quirks too, highlighted in a fun way by his gloves, earring, and hat pins

Jazz - the smart young professional vibes of her tied back hair, collared shirt, clearly attended to nails, and wristwatch are TOP tier. I also like how you swapped her plain BLACK sweater and shoes for a dark teal with some lighter patterning, it keeps her 'visually distinct' canon element while toning down the ways it was a little too striking and drew focus

Valerie - I am captivated by the decision to canonize the curl waves in her hair as actual gray streaks! the CLEAR care and attention of the little details, fashion and status symbols of her outfit! the mix of practicality, access, and fashion! the WARM, sunny look balanced with the very down to earth touches like her sneakers and sweater! the little pops of purple with her nails and lipstick! tight race between Valerie and Jazz as my favorite of your designs tbh

Paulina - the glitter! the little butterfly! the DETAILS of her jewellery! the mole, showing some synchronicity with Sam! i know i said it already but the GLITTER! it's such a lovely look that's a great balance of fashion and EXCESS, while still absolutely looking like something a fourteen year old with a mind for style would put together

Also I mentioned in the previous ask you sent me that I think it's very funny the trio's canon designs are not like. for the same season of the year. so i just wanted to highlight that in your version they are in fact all wearing a long sleeved layer, if a very different one each- they're more in sync but still unique, and likewise Paulina and Valerie are both in short sleeves, and are also both mostly monochrome, coming from the same group; and Jazz, who is in neither of those groups, has three-quarter length sleeves, her own thing.

Also, wanted to say I like that you give Tucker, Valerie, and Paulina brown eyes. Brown eyes rock

Now it's time for the musical trio! Originally was the actor trio but due to the Brawlywood trio existing, I decided to slightly rebranded them as the musical trio, performing in Starr Theatre but might guest star movies of Brawlywood.

First up, Robertine, a android who believes is a human, made by G.U.A.R.D Labs.

Her design matches the design shown in the brawlidays update concept, replacing her coat with a dark red vest, it fits not only her trio better but also fits her character better. I also redid spy Cameron as the original would make her too vulnerable and didn't serve much purpose.

Next is the actors' loyal butler, who also doesn't tolerateany bad behavior, Butlin!

His pants is now a different color compared to his shirt and that's about it.

Finally is Animo, the wannabe animator that runs on water.

His eyes are now shades of pink like I originally planned because I like him being very pink.

Finally will be the KiddyLand trio and I will tell you 2 of them are REALLY redesigned.

redesign of my old ocs :]

i’ve been wanting to do this for a while so i’ll just be dumping info n my revamp of my old ocs! 

this is the first introduction to the revamp

i used to have these old ocs with the names of angelle, azura n crystelle

i wanted to do things with them but i never ended up doing until now!

i’ve completely changed angelle and azura’s, crystelle’s redesign is still similar to the old one (i’ll have to find old pictures of them in my main blog and try to do a comparison!) 

angelle’s redesign has a much more babyish and rounder face (i tried my best to really draw it) while azura’s redesign has a much more sharper square-ish face and with crystelle’s i kept my usual design for majority of my random designs but i made them softer!

here is a second picture; specifically to try to illuminate their styles and how they act i’d say

i drew this picture in a more recent setting, like the pandemic and all, hense the masks

the purpose of this drawing was for me to practice drawing them and to illuminate on how their character would act

so for crystelle, they would be more awkward, i’d say; angelle is a little more photogenic but in kinda like ‘i’m starting to become photogenic and its working well!’ and azura just, doesn’t care.

here is me dumping my headcanons for the characters, well only the species

azura is a pixie, i high lighted that with the sharp ears but add a little touch of a thin sharper skin underneath the ear! they also have wings that they can will out of existence and in existence

angelle is a demon! a difference from well being an angel in the original character. they have a sharped tail.

crystelle is an elf with a much more softer but still elf ears. i wanna say that the earrings on the ears are not a personal preference (well lowkey they are-) but kinda way to show-off the ranks of what type of elf they are and what level they are (haven’t worked out the worldbuilding just yet)

next up is the character sheets for the revamped characters (i can finally use the new names!!)
