- every morning, you both wake up to the soothing sound of your baby boy babbling in his crib. jeongin is always the first to get up, but he insists on kissing your cheek first. you two exchange a soft, drowsy smile as jeongin scoops up your little one, his heart melting at the sight of little yawns and sleepy stretches. sometimes he'll wander about the house with the baby in his arms, humming soothing lullabies while you catch up on sleep.

- jeongin is very hands-on in the kitchen, always helping out with making meals, even if it’s just setting the table or stirring the pot. your baby boy is in his high chair, making a mess with his food but looking so proud of himself as jeongin praises him. you two exchange fond glances as jeongin makes funny faces to make the baby laugh in between bites. there’s always an extra plate for jeongin to make a little "baby food concoction" to feed your son things like mashed sweet potatoes and peas, which he pretends to love, even though he might not.

- when it comes to your little one, jeongin is overprotective. when your son is around, he always adjusts his steps to avoid bumping into things, and when you're outside, he always looks over his shoulder, as if anticipating danger, even if it's only a walk around the park. his protective personality is also evident when he chooses clothes for your son; he always ensures that he is dressed in the softest, most comfortable fabrics, sometimes even feeling the clothes with a quiet, satisfied hum before making his decision.

- when your baby finally falls asleep, jeongin tends to slip into the nursery one more time to check on him, a sweet smile pulling at his lips as he watches his child sleep soundly. you’ll join him, and the two of you will stand there for a bit, arms wrapped around one other, talking quietly about your day and future plans. jeongin, in his gentle manner, frequently talking about how he wants to be the best dad he can be for your boy, how he is looking forward to all of the milestones that will come, but how he just wants to appreciate these small moments right now.

- whether it's teaching your son how to grab things or encouraging him to say his first words, jeongin’s joy is palpable. he’s the one making up games to teach him how to clap or wave, and every small achievement, like a first step or a word, feels like the biggest victory to him. when your son first says "dada," jeongin might tear up a little, so proud of the bond they've built.

- when your son gets a little older, jeongin becomes the dad who takes him on little adventures outside the house whether it’s hiking, visiting a new place, or a trip to the zoo. you’ll catch jeongin’s excited voice talking to your son about everything they see, and his eyes lighting up when your little one says, “I want to do it again, daddy!”

- jeongin is serious about legos. when your son begs for help when building a castle, jeongin gets down on the floor and begins constructing the most extensive, detailed lego fort, showing how to build walls, towers, and even little lego people. you can't help but giggle as you see them become entirely engrossed in the activity, losing track of time as they build their own little lego world together.

Hey, so guys—I’m gonna write a whole ass theory/not-theory post about love and deepspace. Please give me your own thoughts and excuse my rambling it’s 2 am and I’m supposed to be asleep.

No but I actually need the LI to interact in game, I know (think or read somewhere) that the love and dating parts are separate timelines and in the “main” timeline MC doesn’t romanticise any of them(?). Anyway not my point, my point is that they all canonically exist in the same place and Caleb is probably the one tying everyone together.

I swear I believe it was Caleb that Rafayel talked to in the nest place where he lead MC so she could find the Onychinus. There was also a TikTok someone made (probably as a joke) of why Rafayel’s reaction to MC feeding him an apple threw him off.

Caleb is also Zayne’s childhood friend, but alright I’m gonna take a little spin off and ask;

When Zayne is reborn, does he remember everything immediately? Does he as a child bear memories of his previous lives as an adult? Or does the memories come to him with age?

Because IF the case is that Zayne already as a child knows of his past with MC and still has the powers of seeing the future, did he perhaps purposefully become friends with Caleb and MC?

Alright back to the main plot point of my post.

I dunno much about Xavier because I don’t have his full 5-star myth yet, but I do know he’s travelling through space and time (?) and that dude knows some shit. He’s most likely also being extra overprotective because of Caleb, like he’s maybe met an alternative version of him in the past?

Oh, but then there’s Sylus.

I’m just saying, Zayne, Rafayel and Xavier all helped MC find the Onychinus and if they truly thought she would be in life threatening danger they probably would’ve stopped her.

I don’t know how!!! But I’m just yapping so stay with me, ok? They all wanted her to find Sylus, because Sylus is the only one strong enough to protect her.

They probably know about the aether cores, that MC can use the dragon to their advantage. However they didn’t realise that MC and Sylus actually share half of each soul, that they are two kindred spirits.

Oh-ho! But Caleb knows, and Caleb haaaates it. Because he, the one who imprisoned Sylus to begin with, wants nothing more than to see the dragon back into the abyss. Because Caleb, the whole reason he’s in MC’s life is to get to Sylus.

Knowing she’s the key to the dragon, he decides to use her, manipulate her into thinking he’s nothing but a kind and loving friend. Sadly, Caleb didn’t anticipate that he too would be smitten by MC.

So everything just turns complicated now, because in the “main timeline” where MC doesn’t romanticise any of the LI, they’re all very much in love with her.

Gods and when they finally all meet… I’m envisioning like the Deepspace throwing every universe together, causing the past, future and present to mash up and fuck the whole reality… and something something Ever.

My Call, Alastair, Sarah headcanons:

Alastair's family is British/Irish/German

Sarah's mom's family is British/Irish/German but also Slavic and Jewish (ethnically and religiously). Sarah's dad is mixed English and Cherokee. Her dad took her mom's last name (Novak).

Sarah was very sweet and kind and a little introverted.

Call doesnt have an actual religion because Alastair doesn't either so Call wasnt raised in any religion. But Call does find himself drawn to pagan/Wiccan inspired spirituality and eventually embraces that more.

Growing up in a small town in the South, Call has religious trauma because he grew up around so many hyper-religious conservatives.

Call is distrusting of religion for a long time because of this but after he gets close with Aaron and Tamara and starts to heal from that.

Alastair was born in the UK and moved to the US with his parents at like 9 or 10, and hence went to the Magisterium in the US at 12.

Sarah's parents were mages and died due to the war.

Alastair's parents aren't mages. They are alive but Alastair has no contact with them because they were not good parents and he doesn't want to be around them or for Call to be around them.

Call was born in the cave in Peru. So when Alastair first finds him in the cave post-massacer he takes him to a hospital in a nearby town in Peru. Therefore Call's birth is recorded in Peru and he is a legal citizen of Peru. He was also born a US citizen though because Sarah was born in the US and Alastair had become a citizen by that point so he has US citizenship through them.

Call has BPD, C-PTSD, social anxiety, generalized anxiety, and depression.

Alastair has C-PTSD and depression.

When Call was baby and little kid he briefly went to a daycare specifically for disabled kids until Alastair couldnt afford it anymore, where they taught all of the kids sign language so Call is fluent in ASL.

Call took German in public school an is pretty decent at speaking/reading/understanding it.

Alastair would curse in Irish and Gaelic a lot to try to avoid anyone understanding him. But since Call grew up with it he knows all the cursing.

Alastair calls Call both "Call" and "Callum" pretty equally and goes between both a lot.

After Alastair had to remove Call from the daycare he started hiring a neighbor to watch Call who was a stay-at-home-spouse and hence had the time to accept the job. She was Hispanic and she would speak Spanish a lot during that time so Call understands Spanish pretty well and can speak it a little bit.

Alastair's accent is a weird mish-mash of his original British accent and an American accent.

Alastair watched BCC America constantly when he wasn't working because it could help him zone out. And so Call watched all the shows with him and can replicate all sorts of different British accents really accurately.

Alastair smokes because of stress/depression/trauma

Call had extremely limited mobility through most of his childhood and couldn't really walk or stand much when he was really young.

Call was in doctor's offices and hospitals a lot because of his leg.

Call probably also has other disabilities stemming from his fall, like problems with his hips and a few issues in his lower back. He may also have had a concussion as a baby due to the fall which could have delayed things like speech, reading, writing, math, etc for him when he was a little kid.

Call didnt talk much until around the age of 5 and needed to see speech therapists along with his physical therapists.

Alastair is both extremely overprotective and overly hands-off in different ways when it comes to parenting.

Call is allowed to go explore a lot with little supervision which is why he gets into so much trouble.

But Alastair doesn't like him being around other people, and Call doesnt like being around other people either so he tends to either explore where there aren't many people and just stay in the house a lot.

Because Call spends a lot of time inside due to distrust of people and because of his disabilities, he got very skilled with a lot of things because he would do them all the time.

Because Call spends so much time alone he is extremely well read (kinda canon tbh) and sometimes when Alastair is mad at him for something Call will respond sarcastically with a Shakespeare quote because he knows that Alastair will be amused enough by it that he'll become less angry.

Alastair is also very scholarly so he encourages that in Call.

I love the headcanon someone else here had about Call being read Shakespeare as bedtime stories.

Call can play drums and electric guitar and spends a good chunk of his time doing that at home because it's relaxing for him.

He blasts rock music in his headphones and then tries to play along to the song on one of the instruments. If he messes up he curses really loudly because he can't hear himself over the music.

Alastair keeps telling him not to blare music directly into his ears like that, but Call does it anyway.

Call is predominantly self taught when it comes to his drumming and guitar because Alastair could afford used instruments but not lessons. So he mainly learns off of YouTube videos and general experimenting.

Call used mobility aids through most of his childhood.

Call is a big fan of Back to The Future, Lord of the Rings (books and movies), and the How to Train Your Dragon movie because he relates to Hiccup (even moreso after getting Havoc).

Call watched Finding Nemo on repeat as a child because he found it really relatable. Alastair never sat and watched it with him so he never realized what it was actually about.

Call probably also watched that 1970s animated version of The Hobbit a lot.

He likes musicals but doesn't tell anyone about it because he's kinda embarrassed. His favorite is Into the Woods because again, he finds it relatable. Although with Finding Nemo he sees himself and his dad in it but for Into The Woods he just sees Alastair. So he feels like the play helps him understand his dad better.

Call is demiromantic and asexual. He is mlm but doesn't label his sexuality much outside of mlm and doesn't worry about the details. He is also a little bit genderqueer and enjoys messing around with what people think a "boy" would look like, so he wears eyeliner and nail polish.

Call's favorite bands are Bad Company, Allman Brothers, Led Zepplin, Styx, Rush and Eagles.

His favorite songs are "Carry On (My Wayward Son)" by Kansas, "Renegade" by Styx, and "Tom Sawyer" and "Fly By Night" by Rush.

Call is extremely knowledgeable about history and ends up basically teaching their history classes at the Magisterium because he has extensive contextual information about historical events that Rufus doesn't, and corrects Rufus on a lot of stuff too.

Call is very introverted both naturally and due to his traumas, and has a lot of self hatred. Learning he is Constantine only makes it that much worse. But Aaron and Tamara are able to help him heal overtime and realize that he isn't a bad person and that he is worthy of love and happiness.

The Batfamily as Thanksgiving Dishes

Bruce: Turkey. Weather Roasted, fired, smoked or grilled Turkey is the main dish and a staple for Thanksgiving. Well sometimes it can look dry or maybe it is depending on whose preparing it. It is an important center piece and it is holds all the sides together. While Bruce isn’t the world’s best dad he tries and he sometimes needs to try hard to not be so cut and dry too. He means well and loves his family, there his reason to continue on and not to give up. Like turkey you just have to carve off a piece or two to get to that tender side.

Dick: Pumpkin Pie. It’s sweet, and sometimes you don’t know if it’s gonna be good or if it will chip your tooth. It’s also a classic and you can’t really have a family gathering without it. Pumpkin to most is one of the original side dishes/desserts from Thanksgiving. Just as Dick is the first Robin it started the trend for other dishes or Robins to come after him with their own spin on the mantle and similarly Pumpkin pie aloud for other dishes to come along since the tradition long history. And plus you can’t have a family of crime fighters without that overprotective, charismatic short tempered Big Brother.

Jason: Sweet Potato Pie. There’s always been a debate between Sweet Potato Pie and Pumpkin. Sweet Potato is just that it’s not something you think of usually as being very sweet, it’s very mysterious in it’s presentation and no two pies are alike. Like Jason Sweet Potato Pie is there for you when you want something different it’s sweet yes, but it’s not overwhelming with Sweet Potatoes taste like Pumpkin can be sometimes. Maybe you just want to take a piece and set in the library and read a novel,Sweet Potato Pie is there for you for when you just want dessert and to be in your own little bubble away from the noise family just on the other side of the door.

Barbara: Mashed Potatoes. Mashed potatoes are a staple on Thanksgiving and most argue you can’t have thanksgiving without them. Babs is definitely the glue that holds a lot of the original and newer members of the family together and keeps everyone safe and update too. Mashed Potatoes go well with everything side with gravy or without they complete the plate, just as Babs is a staple that hold the family together.

Tim: Yams. Yams are sweet and glossy. The mix the best with Mac & cheese and green beans. They are that side dish that you don’t think about but you need a lot of types of sugar and butter and it’s so rich and delicious. Yams are lot of people’s favorite dish and speaking from experience you can’t have thanksgiving without them. Tim for sure is there to help his family with whatever they need just as they would be their for him in a heartbeat.Tim is the family member that’s always there for you and you can count on to help you with a sticky situation.

Damian: Yeast Rolls. I’m sorry but Damian is for sure the rolls. Now matter how sometimes he may not want to be around his family all the time or at all sometimes. It wouldn’t be the Batfamily without him. You can make rolls some many ways and butter them up to make them a fan favorite too. And no meals Thanksgiving or not is complete without this buttery carb aka a fluffy cloud.

Stephanie: Baked Mac & Cheese. Mac & cheese is a comfort food for most, and Stephanie is a comfort character to many. She brings laughs, joy, grit, and a lot of sass. Who ever makes Mac & cheese can make or break a family and Stephanie’s presents brings a lot of light into the Dark Batfamily world, she always they’re when you need her and she will stick by you through thick and then.

Cassandra: Stuffing/Dressing. Full of herbs, and it melts in your mouth, this side dish blends in with the other dishes, but it’s not without being a household name on its own. While yes making of Stuffing or Dressing depending on which you prefer, is covered in depend on proper cooking of it, it’s never forgotten on a plate and much like Cass it will just appear on your plate and goes with everything. With turkey and gravy or mixed with yams and Mac and Cheese it’s just something that you cannot pass up and something you’ll always want more of. (At Dc, we want more Cass!)

Duke: Green Beans. Green Beans not to be confused with Green Bean Casserole is important because while all the other sides are covered in sugar and cheese you wanna break it up with something equally as tasty but also something it doesn’t feel like your only eating junk too. Now it’s Thanksgiving not a healthy meal and green beans usually aren’t either but hey your trying. Green beans can be scoop up and eating with the other sides because it works well with them and never lets anyone feel left out. Like Duke he never lets Gotham feel unsafe during the day nor does he let his siblings feel alone or isolated.

Selina: Pecan Pie. A dessert so good it will literally raise your blood sugar to new high. But it’s exciting, sweet, and decadent. Selina is for sure the wine aunt and only stops by for a few glasses of the finest red and a slice of this yummy pie, but she’s also will lend a hand if she needs to and give killer relationship advice.

Kate Kane: Spiral Honey Ham. This dish is big enough and just as good to pair along with turkey or for those that don’t like turkey ham is there for you. Kate is the cousin you confined in with you don’t want tell your siblings, Grandfather or Dad about certain things. Much like ham we all know everyone for the most part loves and sometimes inside of turkey, but the two work so well together, they’re is no better pairing.

Alfred: Apple Pie á La Mode. A old fashion, timeless classic. Unlike the other desserts this one can’t go wrong, it’s the perfect combination of sweet and savory with yummy vanilla ice cream ontop. Like Alfred you can think of the Batfamily without the wise and dry wit Butler. And to most a meal isn’t complete without Apple Pie and I have to say I have to agree.

Notes: .... :3 HOPE YOU ENJOY❗❗I'm still sick rip, but tried to make these as good as possible <3

- Blitzo is a dad caregiver, so he ofcourse makes loona your big sister <3 So yes, family nights do happen. and he will burst into happy tears if you call him or loona any abbreviation of family- (Call him dada, papa, or just dad and he'll actually explode.)

- Blitzo is an overprotective caregiver, he takes his role as your caregiver very seriously and practically starts barking at people who look at you the wrong way. He's not afraid to get in a fist fight if anyone says anything against your regression.

- When he hugs you, his tail wraps around you to make you two feel closer <3 His tail will either wrap around your waist/tummy or it'll wrap around your wrist, on that note when you two are going out he usually has his tail wrapped around your wrist to keep track of you (Basically his own version of a child leash-)

- Probably gives you a nickname where he just takes your name and adds a y to the end, also calls you his baby 24/7 !!

- Does hold onto everything incase you regress suddenly, Blitzo isn't embarrassed by carrying around your stuff animal or your paci if you want it !! You regress and he's pulling items out of his jacket like a magician. "okay take your paci and your stuffie and your bottle- wait no, fu*k, I need the bottle to feed you, take your other stuffie-"

- Gets jealous easily, will never leave you to be babysat and will actually explode if someone takes care of you for more then two seconds. They picked you up? Blitzo is tweaking out, he's the only one allowed to pick you up! "PUT MY BABY DOWN YOU MOTHERFUC-"

- Constantly praising you for being the cutest and littlest baby ever, practically is a grandma with how much he squeezes and pinches your cheeks. If anyone wants to know where he is, he's probably cooing at you.

- Blitzo will watch kid movies with you, like Disney movies, however will criticize them. Has a thing against Cinderella for some reason??- but he loves it, especially when you sit on his lap as you two are on the couch together. Totally lets you play with his tail absentmindedly

- I don't think Blitzo is absolutely amazing at cooking as he never really bothered to learn, but he can make simple things. Usually just buys you dino nuggets and some other stuff and calls it a day, but he does make cute little scenes with the food- Like a dino on the beach using mashed potatoes. Probably somehow gets really mushy with it, I mean like makes ketchup hearts.

- When you're younger however, he's the absolute gentlest. Has a gentle grip on your bottle and your head as he tilts it back to feed you, probably even spoils you with strawberry milk sometimes. Also when he buys you baby food, he does infact try some- he swears it was to encourage you! (Also he was curious but- hey don't giggle at him!)

- If you can't tell, Blitzo takes every chance to tell you he loves you and he always, always means it. He loves taking care of you, and has no shame in your regression like mentioned before. He will brag about you being the cutest baby though, gives children dirty looks still. "..Not as cute as my baby."

- This also means you have him wrapped around your finger, You want that thing?? He's bought two and they are in your favorite colors. You can get away with breaking rules- although Blitzo isn't a strict caregiver so there's not alot of rules to break, minus bedtime.. But he won't punish you, he'll probably just make you sleepy by cuddling or warm milk- or sleepy time music as he calls it.

- Blitzo doesn't stop swearing around you, however he doesn't make any lewd jokes and he will fight anyone who does around you. Gets all dramatic and everything, covers your ears and looks at them with an absolute shocked look. A hypocrite when he comes to you.. "How dare you say that around my baby! They are too young for this-"

- Will not let you ignore your regression. Oh you are too busy? With what? Oh with your work- he's finished it. Oh you are stressing- all the more reason to regress! And yes he will gently trick you into regressing if absolutely necessary. Although he isn't the best at doing it secretly, especially when he tries to half-baby you but.. Ohmygoodnessyouaresoadorable so he ends up just babying you-

- Totally the type of caregiver to sit on the edge of your bed and read you a story, probably even gets you those lights that spin around the room and show cool shapes to help you sleep. However if you can't sleep, he'll totally stay up and cuddle with you <3 Snuggles right into your bed, pulls the blankets over you two and gently rubs your back as he waits for you to fall asleep.

But he ends up falling asleep with you, he feels so much more better knowing his baby is in his arms and safe.

Much like the day before, Wayne Munson couldn’t resist giving Steve a bit of a glare when he arrived at the same time as Eddie for dinner. Mia was sitting on her playmat, shoving blocks around until it sort of resembled a small tower, but quickly losing interest when she saw Steve.

“Mama! Mama! Uh!” Mia yelled.

And then she fell forward onto her hands, rocked her body back and forth a couple of times, and crawled.

Wayne’s jaw was practically on the floor as he watched Mia crawl the short distance to where Steve was standing at the front door.

She plopped back onto her bottom when she reached him, holding her arms up expectantly, beaming that gummy smile at him.

“Holy shit.” Eddie fell to his knees next to Steve, picking her up and peppering her face with kisses until she was giggling. “You did it, princess!”

Steve joined him on the floor, a hand reaching out to cover Mia’s back as he smiled at them both.

The glare disappeared from Wayne’s face almost as quickly as it came at the sight.

In truth, this was all Wayne had ever wanted for Eddie: someone who made him happy and celebrated his happiness with Mia. It was impossible to pretend he couldn’t see the love in Steve’s watery eyes when he looked at them.

Wayne was always going to be overprotective of his boy and his angel, but maybe he could start letting Steve climb the wall. Maybe he could even throw a ladder over the edge for him to hold onto.

“Daddy’s so proud of you!” Eddie sniffled, a tear falling down his cheek. “Stevie, did you see her?”

“I did! Good job, princess!” Steve kissed her forehead, tears pooling in his eyes.

It was bittersweet, watching Eddie and Steve share this moment with each other and Mia, knowing that he was going to miss a lot of these moments if Eddie followed Steve to the city.

He’d have to be okay with that, knew it was a possibility from the beginning anyway, just didn’t think it would be so soon. He thought maybe he’d get to see her first steps, hear her learn new words, maybe even be around for the joyful day she was potty trained and they could save so much money on diapers.

Looking at the way Steve and Eddie were praising her and smiling at each other, Wayne knew it would be worth it to miss those things if it meant Ed and Mia were taken care of and loved.

“I guess I better check on dinner,” he said softly, not wanting to interrupt the moment too much.

“Oh! Do you need any help?” Steve offered, starting to stand up from the floor.

“Nah,” Wayne waved him off, offering a genuine smile. “I’ll get ya when it’s done.”

Steve nodded, settling back down next to Eddie and watching as Mia reached over for him.

“Mamamamamama!”

Wayne shook his head, an overwhelming fondness taking over.

He paused on his way into the kitchen to watch as Eddie handed her over to him, giving him a soft peck on the lips and a warm smile.

“So, Steve.” Wayne wiped his mouth on a paper towel before turning his attention to Steve, who suddenly looked like he was wishing he was anywhere but here. “Tell me about what you’ve been up to.”

Steve gulped, shoving some of the mashed potatoes around his plate. He’d barely eaten yet, but Wayne was almost certain it had more to do with his nerves than whether or not he liked the food.

“Well, I’m currently a waiter at a Michelin star restaurant a few blocks from the apartment I share with Robin. I make pretty decent tips, better than most people who wait tables in the area. Um, I applied for a technical school in the city.” Steve looks down at his plate, blushing. “I’m going to get a cosmetology certificate so I can work in one of my friend’s salon while I figure out what I might wanna do long term.”

Wayne pretended he didn’t see Eddie’s hand squeeze his knee under the table.

“So you wouldn’t wanna do that long term?” Eddie asked.

“I don’t know. I didn’t really think it could be a career, I guess,” Steve shrugged. “Not for me, at least.”

Wayne and Eddie shared a look.

“It could be. If it’s something you liked.” Eddie said while Wayne nodded in agreement. “You’ve always been known to have great hair, it kinda makes sense for you. Plus, imagine how well those old ladies would tip you just for being handsome.”

They all laughed as Steve seemed to relax a bit more, taking a bite of his baked chicken.

“You know, Ed has been thinkin’ about talkin’ to someone about a tattoo apprenticeship,” Wayne provided before taking a bite of food. “You know anywhere near you that might be interested in havin’ him?”

Steve lit up at the question, and for good reason.

Eddie smiled at Wayne, mouthing a silent ‘thank you’ as Steve started talking about a couple shops within walking distance of the apartment.

It was a quiet acceptance of what was to come, of Wayne giving his support in the only way he knew how right now. Eddie could see it for what it was, and Steve almost certainly could too.

“They’d love to have you and Mia. There’s one other dad that switches off with his wife when she has to work. You’d probably like him, he likes Ozzy.”

Eddie snorted. “Ah, yes. The pinnacle of friendship: Ozzy Osbourne.”

“You’d have something in common!” Steve laughed. “He saw him in concert last time he was in Chicago.”

“Really?” Eddie dropped his fork. “Like just a few months ago?”

“Yep,” Steve’s smug smile made Wayne smirk. “Had pit tickets even.”

“He was in the pit?”

Steve nodded, looking over at Wayne. “He said his buddy is the one who got a drumstick when they threw them into the crowd.”

“Holy shit, Steve. So you move to the city and now you have cool friends?” Eddie was joking, but his words had just a hint of jealousy to them. “Or do you have a crush on this guy?”

“Oh my God, Eds, no. Trust me. He’s an accountant with a buzz cut and no tattoos.”

“No tattoos?” Eddie shook his head. “Sounds like he’s hiding something.”

“Maybe you can be his friend and he’ll share his secrets,” Steve nudged him playfully.

Wayne watched as they got lost in each others’ eyes, rolling his own when they wouldn’t look away from each other even after a solid minute.

“How’s dinner, boys?” Wayne asked, smirking when they both jumped in their seats.

“It’s great, thanks.” Steve saw that Wayne’s plate was mostly cleared, a few pieces of chicken left. “I can do the dishes and stuff when we’re all done. I’m sure you’re tired and wanna head to bed soon.”

Wayne squinted at him.

If he didn’t know Steve a bit better, he’d assume he was trying to impress him.

“I think I got it tonight. Why don’t you boys get some rest? You’ve both had a lot goin’ on and Mia will be up in a few hours for a bottle.”

“I don’t mind-“ Steve started, only to have Eddie covering his mouth with his hand.

“Take what’s being offered, Stevie.”

“Listen to your boyfriend, Steve.” Wayne stood up and gathered his plate and glass of water. “Nice havin’ ya over. I’m sure I’ll be seein’ a lot of ya the next few days.”

“Yes, sir.”

“So formal. Stop scaring him so much, Wayne, Jesus.”

Wayne let out a laugh, probably louder than he should have knowing Mia was asleep just down the hall, and touched Steve’s shoulder with the back of his hand.

“It’s Wayne, Steve.”

Wayne left the room before Steve could start crying.

“Are you sure it’s okay I stay?” Steve whispered.

Eddie leaned in to kiss him softly, smiling at him as he pulled away. “I’m sure, sweetheart.”

Steve peeked over his shoulder at the crib, smiling at Mia’s sleeping form.

“She’s amazing. You’re amazing,” Steve closed his eyes and settled further into the pillow under him. “I can’t believe I get to love you both.”

“I can’t believe you want to.”

Steve’s eyes searched Eddie’s, his hand resting on Eddie’s side, just above his largest scar from the bats. His fingers traced the outer edges, where the skin was oversensitive.

“I always want anything you’ll give me.”

Eddie groaned as quietly as he could. “You’re killin’ me. I wanna be inside you so bad right now, Stevie.”

Steve slapped his chest, but immediately leaned in for a kiss, hungrier than the last one.

“How quiet can you be?” Steve whispered against his lips.

“Me? How quiet can you be?” Eddie’s eyes widened as Steve’s hands landed on his waistband.

“I don’t have to worry about being quiet if I’ve got your dick in my mouth, do I?” Steve smirked as he kissed down his neck, his hand pushing Eddie’s pants down just enough to free his rapidly filling cock.

“Jesus Christ,” Eddie rolled to his back so he could lift his hips and help get his pants further down. “You may actually kill me.”

“You’re so dramatic,” Steve said as he kissed down Eddie’s bare chest, hovering for a bit longer over a tattoo he didn’t recognize. “What’s this one?”

Eddie tilted his head down to see what Steve was pointing at.

“It’s the word ‘mine’ over and over in a heart,” Eddie was actually blushing. “Mia’s name means ‘mine’ so I convinced my buddy to do this for free for me soon after she came.”

Steve looked at it closer, then leaned in and kissed it, let his lips linger for a moment.

“It’s perfect.”

Eddie cupped the back of Steve’s head, but didn’t push or pull him in any direction, just needed the feel of Steve in his hold.

A small cry startled them out of the moment, and when Eddie looked over to the crib, he saw Mia’s legs kicking like she was trying to get loose from her swaddle.

Steve sighed, but smiled up at him before patting his chest once and standing up. “I got her,” he said as he walked over to the crib. “Hi princess. You’re not supposed to be awake yet.”

Eddie sat up and looked over at the clock. Steve was right, she shouldn’t be awake yet, and if she was, they’d either been too loud or she was sick.

It only took one close up look at her cheeks to know which it was.

“Shit.” Eddie stood up and reached over for her, frowning as he held the back of his hand up to her forehead as she let out a small whimper. “Dammit.”

She rested her entirely-too-warm cheek against his shoulder.

“What is it?” Steve asked, concern etched on every corner of his face, hand raised like he was ready to comfort or fight if needed.

“She has a fever.”

Every possibility ran through Eddie’s mind: flu, strep throat, a cold, maybe something even more serious.

Steve’s brows furrowed. “She was totally fine right before she went to bed.”

“I know, but babies just get sick. Happens fast,” Eddie half shrugged. “Wayne may not have noticed anything was off while we were in the shower.”

“She’s really warm though, baby. This isn’t something that just happened in the last hour.”

Eddie knew Steve meant well, and probably knew plenty about how that was true for adults, but he didn’t have experience with babies. The sudden stress of knowing he’d probably have to miss work to take her to the doctor tomorrow wasn’t helping his reaction.

“It can.” He sighed. “Maybe you should head out. I don’t want you to catch anything.”

“I’m not leaving you. You have work tomorrow.”

“Yeah, but I have to bring her to the doctor if this fever doesn’t break before morning. And if you get sick, you’ll be miserable for the trip home and you can’t work when you’re sick-“

“Eds, she’s got a tooth coming in.” Steve was running his pinky finger along her bottom gum, smiling to himself when she started nibbling on it. “That’s probably where the fever came from.”

Eddie tried not to feel stupid. She’d already been teething before this, but had luckily escaped having much of a fever. The drool was a bit excessive, and she put everything in her mouth, but otherwise, she was the same happy and healthy baby she always was. Babies did sometimes get fevers for seemingly no reason, but usually that reason was actually because they were teething.

Mia gurgled as she kept trying to munch on Steve’s finger, his face wincing slightly when she bit down harder.

“Seems like it broke through,” he said, though he didn’t pull his finger away. “Poor thing. You want me to get a piece of ice and hold it on her gums? It’ll numb it for a bit.”

Eddie nodded silently.

“Hey. Eds.” Eddie looked at Steve. “You’re a really great dad for being so worried about her.”

Eddie relaxed at Steve’s words. He should’ve known Steve wasn’t judging his parenting, Steve never would over something like this.

“Sorry.”

“For what, baby? You’re just trying to take care of both of us.” Steve kissed his nose. “I’ll be right back.”

He moved quickly, but quietly, from the room, not wanting to disturb Wayne on his way to the freezer to get an ice cube. Eddie watched him leave the door open a crack, just enough for the warm glow from the nightlight to light his way down the hall.

Eddie rocks back and forth on his feet, whispering to Mia while she sucks on her own fingers to try to find some relief, however temporary, from the pain of her tooth popping through the gums. She’s making low grunts every few seconds, either in acknowledgment of what he’s saying to her or in frustration from the pain.

“Mama,” Mia whispers wetly, drool dripping from her mouth when she refuses to take her fingers away to talk. Eddie can’t help smiling fondly at her. “Mamamamama.”

“He’s coming right back, princess. He’s gonna help.”

Steve rushed back in the room, practically sliding across the carpet, ice cube between two fingers to try to prevent it melting too quickly from his body heat.

“Alright, princess! Let’s get your fingers out of the way so we can use this instead.”

Steve pried her fingers out of her mouth, shushing her quiet whine with a kiss to her cheek. He gently brought the ice cube up to her lips and rubbed until she opened her mouth enough for him to rub it over her gums.

She kicked Eddie a couple of times, but seemed content with his solution.

“That’s it, honey. Feels a lot better now, huh?” Steve whispered to her.

Eddie watched as Mia’s eyes never left Steve’s face, a small smile finally replacing the look of pain she’d had before.

He felt cool drops dribbling down his chest as the ice cube melted, but didn’t care enough to try to find a burp rag or t-shirt. He couldn’t look away from this moment.

It felt like everything had maybe led up to this, this very tiny moment in his bedroom, where he could have handled it, but didn’t have to.

Where Steve showed he could fit in a way Eddie didn’t know he needed.

Where his presence would be missed while Eddie figured out how to follow him to Chicago.

How had he already made such a big impact on their lives that going a few months without him now seemed like an impossible task?

“Eds? Baby, what’s wrong?”

Eddie blinked a few times to see Steve looking at him with concern, Mia half-asleep again in his arms.

“Sorry. I just realized that I don’t ever wanna do this without you again.”

It was dangerous to admit, and while he was pretty sure Steve could sense how important he was to Eddie, he’d never come out and said it quite like that.

“You don’t have to,” Steve leaned in to kiss him. “I’m right here.”

“You’re gonna be leaving in a few days, though. And I know we’re gonna come be with you, but it’s not gonna be right away. It’ll be hard to have this and then not for a while.”

Steve nodded once. “I know. But we can figure out a schedule for calls so I can talk to you and Mia until you can come be with me. I’m sure I could come visit again next month during the restaurant’s yearly deep clean. They close for three days and hire a company to scrub the place from top to bottom and pay us our hourly wage for all shifts missed. It’s kinda like a mini-vacation for me.”

“Or maybe we could come visit you.” Eddie set Mia down in her crib gently, holding a hand on her chest so she wouldn’t freak out that he left her. “See our future home. Maybe bring some stuff so moving there feels real.”

Steve wrapped his arms around his waist, kissed his jaw, and rested his head on the opposite shoulder from where Mia had been.

“Pretty sure we’ll have the place to ourselves for most of that, maybe you should be the one to visit. I’ll get a crib for Mia so she can test her new room out. Maybe I can get Robin’s friend Cam to paint a mural on the wall.”

Eddie’s brows raised in surprise. “You can paint the wall?”

“Maybe.” Steve shrugged. “Not like we can’t just paint over it when we move out.”

“Who know you were such a bad boy?” Eddie wiggled his brows. “Keep talkin’ about breaking rental agreement rules. It’s very sexy.”

Steve muffled his laugh in Eddie’s chest. “You’re ridiculous.”

“Ridiculously in love with you, sweet thing.”

Steve pulled back, fond smile still on his face. “You sure are a sweet talker. I dunno if I can keep up with your charm.”

“Sure you can. You just said you’d paint a mural in our daughter’s bedroom in a rented apartment that probably doesn’t even let you hang picture frames on the walls. Very charming.”

Steve didn’t say anything, just looked at Eddie with wide eyes.

“What?” He finally asked.

“You just said Mia was our daughter,” Steve whispered, broken, somewhat hopeful.

“I-“

“It’s okay if you didn’t mean it, Eds-“

“No, I meant it, it’s just-“

“Seriously, I understand it was a slip. Easy to do when you’re tired and-“

“Steve!” Eddie whisper-shouted, his hands coming up to rest on Steve’s cheeks. “I meant it.”

“You meant it?”

Eddie’s lips were on Steve’s, a better response than any words he could give would be, his tongue tracing along his bottom lip asking for entrance.

“Meant it,” he said again as he pulled Steve backwards towards his bed, opening his eyes for a moment just to make sure Mia was still asleep.

“You gonna be quiet?” Steve whispered against his lips as they settled back in his bed.

“You won’t even know I’m here,” Eddie smirked as Steve kissed down his chest. “Well, except for my dick in your mouth.”

Steve shook his head. “Terrible. Where did the charm from earlier go?”

“It’ll return from the war after you get your mouth on me, I promise.”

Steve rolled his eyes but did as was requested, swallowing around Eddie’s length at the same time he reached up to cover his mouth with his hand.

what I think that Sunday’s character is like after 2.2 story

it has stuff from 2.2 so just in case you haven’t seen it yet

I kind of think that his philosophy has some sort of notes of existentialism or some other philosophy (nihilism maybe?) by wanting to be free from the aeons (I kind of forgot exactly what it is that he wanted) and thinking that the strong should protect the weak. To me it’s kind of like after the bird incident and his sister getting shot he probably saw things in a pessimistic way in “people are weak and it’s my job to protect them from harm” sort of way.

I also think that he’s more of a misguided villain than a straight up evil manipulator. His goal is a good one like wanting to help and protect the weak but his execution of trapping everyone in an eternal dream isn’t so great. So more like good intentions, bad execution. The Order thing I’m not really sure much about but wanting to protect the weak even if it mean preventing them from living seems more like a twisted sense of overprotecting than a possessive nature to me (look I sort of get the appeal of a yandere character but come on the guy is more then that).

Anyways that kind of what I picked out from the latest story quest and I just mashed it all into a single post so yeah there’s that (not saying there is anything wrong with a yandere Sunday but it’s just to me that there is way more to his character and motives then just that)

imagine that instead of Mila her brother is the who is in the group and idk what happened between them (Mila and the boys ) but they end up dating behind her brothers back and while discussing the best friend dating or flirting with the younger sister thing they feel nervous or happy because of whatever her brother said like if he gave a negative reaction or a positive reaction to the situation

If that’s too much it can be just a scenario with her brother

OMGG so in the revamped version on milakosmos, mila is an only child (it makes more sense with the storyline—but since my blogs ended up deleted, they’re all mashed together on this one, so sorry to anyone who noticed the inconsistencies lol but it’s basically bc the revamped bed and old ver aren’t separated yet) BUT she has an older male cousin whose basically like a brother and comes into play later on in the revamped rmu ver 🌸🌸🌸

BUT ANYWAY!! he’s the same character and personality but with different relation basically so on I-land when they talk about family, he still refers to mila as his little sister rather than cousin 💖 and basically everyone is curious bc since he’s so good looking his sister must be the same right?? they tease him and try to get him to introduce her to them but he’s like “no” bc he’s super overprotective >:(

flash forward to the last ep of I land where someone asks who he would introduce his sister to, and he goes “no one” (just like hoon lol) bc he doesn’t trust any of them near mile 😆😆 and he’s absolutely right not to, bc the fist time she meets the boys at one of their concerts, they’re all falling over themselves to get to know her bc she’s their age and just so sweet 🌸✨✨ but her cousin is givin them the evil os they secretly exchange contacts and stuff without him knowing… so he would defs feel betrayed when he finds out that they have something going on— and it’s literally no mila was crying about it and so he’s mad bc they ignore his off limits rule and also bc they made her cry ✨✨ but rlly he knows she’s her own person so he’s basically like “okay, just promise to make her happy and never make her cry again, and maybe I’ll think about giving you approval” but keep in mind he doesn’t know they’ll get into a poly relationship-like he was just waiting for Mila to choose one of them to get with not all seven 😆😆😆 so yeah he probs faints out of shock at the though of his little sister figure with seven boyfriends—who are his members, btw 😆😆 and since he’s one of the oldest members (just a little older than hee) best believe he’s going full tyrant mode on them whenever he can 🌟🌟🌟🌟

it's funny you would say that because I left cinema feeling like if I didn't know the show I could find it cute and somewhat enjoy it despite how cliché it is, but as somebody who likes the show I was severely disappointed.

The movie gives us nothing. It just takes away, and it takes a lot, to a point of being at most loosely inspired by the seasons 1-3 arc, and by that I mean mashing a bit of origins but worse with an alternative timeline to Chat Blanc that redeems Gabriel instead, and a few smaller references to some episodes if you squint, like taking Mime's design and making him an actual criminal.

They change Sabine's eyes from gray to as blue as Marinette's.

They frame Tom's slight overprotectiveness as being a cringe dad who treats her like she's 6 and she's annoyed with him. They have Marinette tell him off.

They remove Master Fu's choice of the heroes. He doesn't even meet Adrien in this??? And acts crazy in front of Mari, making a scene in public?? When he was so subtle in the show???

Broke my heart when they made Tikki & Plagg dislike each other. Needed to remember that in my canon he calls her sugar cube and everything is alright. This isn't real, this doesn't mean anything to me. The fart jokes didn't happen. This can't hurt me.

Why don't they listen to or respect Master Fu at all? Who knows! They're both ooc but especially Tikki, I really thought she's going to be more reasonable and listen, any moment and she'll be rolling eyes at Plagg misbehaving. And she can force a transformation without Marinette saying the phrase? Bullshit.

Why is the miraculous of the butterfly framed as having a specifically evil power that's stronger than any other except the main two combined when we know that's bs? No answer!

Nooru poking out of Hawkmoth's chest when he's transformed is just a device to fit in their dialogue at all, but it's still on my shit list, this isn't supposed to happen!

None of the magic works like it's supposed to and there's no explanation for that! None! Lucky Charm doesn't exist because fuck you. She can only repair damages with the power of love after the final battle, sucks to be Notre-Dame getting destroyed in the first one, I guess.

And they just beat the shit out of the villains until the akuma leaves. There is no finding where the akuma is, not a scene where Ladybug could impress Chat with something more than reluctantly saving him, because they don't show off her planning abilities once. No, here her yoyo is the smart one, with a mind of its own, tugging her along.

We're at the day of origins but for some reason Sabrina has her characterization of much later and lies to Chloe to protect Marinette. Girl's one trait at the time should be loyal, how do you fuck that up.

Instead of being playful and flirty, Chat Noir is being actually arrogant. Maybe Ladybug also getting eyeliner made him insecure in his position. This is where I say they don't even look better to me, ig. Somehow with miniscule, not very noticeable differences they straightwashed them, enhanced boy & girl. Especially the boy, since there was a lot of princess to remove, not much of our Adrien left.

He tells Gabriel off on his own. No rescuing. No princess. He says Ladybug saved his heart, but has nothing in the movie to show for it. She only saved him literally. From a train. And they randomly go on a date where in the show she stood him up, making it look like they're very much in love, just to reel it back and have her go back to script and say there's someone else despite the fact that what we've seen makes it look like she's lying to convince herself to stick to the plan of pursuing Adrien. And we don't get an explanation, the movie never goes into the identity issue, or Marinette's trust issues, just doesn't give a reason why ladynoir shouldn't date at all, it doesn't happen because they planned for adrinette end game, that's it.

I don't have time to be upset we got no marichat or ladrien, because actually, thank god I didn't have to see them mess that up too. Marinette is instantly into Adrien, before he helps her up, creeping on him as she would at the peak of her crazed era just because she saw a pretty boy, something my Mari would never do. She never gets to have a phase of distrusting him because of association with Chloe, because the movie doesn't have the time to get into the topic of Chloe either. She gets just enough screen time to also have an interaction with an ooc Marinette. You know, when Mari is mean to her, criticizing her hair and we're supposed to take it in the same spirit as the season 5 clapback. Except, even more stupidly, we get to see Chloe proven right because Marinette gets rejected by Adrien. Which makes sense, because they have nothing established here and he was visibly sad & tired when she asked him out without getting concerned about his wellbeing like our Marinette would. There's a brief compilation to show how she got more confident in her normal life over the time working as Ladybug, but not them becoming friends, nothing of Adrien admiring Marinette for being "the everyday Ladybug", nothing of Marinette seeing kindness in Adrien.

There is just Marinette's crush on Adrien because of word of god, and few awkward interactions. He ends up accepting her feeling in the end, because he found out she's ladybug. And they don't show the kiss, because the movie doesn't know what audience it wants to have, having made it seem like it wants to be a big boy superhero movie from the early marketing and the fact that this is what Astruc seemed to have always wanted, through trying to have teen humour & romance focus that made my 11 y.o. sister cringe and be reluctant to go with me, to end up with a final product that woobiefied all of the conflict, all of the akumatized villains are adults they don't personally know and we're not supposed to sympathize with them, that'd be too nuanced, no, they're criminals or fat men who can't handle rejection (hm.), it's the power of love that fixes all, the courage Marinette needs is something she can find in herself via singing, no extra steps needed,

season 5 shown us a deeper look into her trauma and an actual panic attack, so the movie could show us using more of her escapism for her to get more brave, the only issue she has as we know, being afraid of confrontation, this is such a bad reading of her, there is so much more we could get out of that escapism, but they refused to show her as the planner she is, her sense of responsibility, need of control and then being crushed by the weight of the duty she puts on herself, the self-isolating tendencies, the way she internalized everything Chloe has said about her and identifies with every failure while not noticing the good others see in her and the way she just doesn't trust and won't take the fall head first the way Chat Noir has many times without hesitation, not a word of any of that, all she needs is courage to fight and get the boy, and she does so without a hitch.

I also find the choice of soundtrack for Chat Noir falling in love in bad taste, they play the song twice and it doesn't fit the mood even for a second. First time it gets a few uncomfortable laughs out of people, but a second time it's just fucked up, like yeah, they want to get another laugh because he's moping when she's fighting for her dear life, but why the fuck are you playing the famous horny music? Why did you choose this song for a children's movie in which you refuse to show a kiss at all? And in the show there were scenes where Chat Noir grinned and even wiggled his eyebrows, like when they got trapped in a bubble, but him falling for her because she reached out for him is so not fitting of the mood this audio sets, and neither is his heartbreak.

And finally there's Hawkmoth almost killing them, having akumatized himself in an act of desperation but not like in the show, in a fucked up way that wouldn't work in the show, discovers their identities and backs off when he finds out Chat Noir is his son, he's suddenly sorry for everything and wants to be a dad, it doesn't even make sense in the context of the movie since we had Adrien say he lost his dad too, to his face earlier, making it clear that he was just as neglectful, and all of his actions prior to that were as, if not more, deranged and desperate. And Adrien flips like a switch as well, yeah he hated his dad before, but now that he knows he committed atrocities he kinda wants to hug it out.

Lastly, Nathalie for some reason wants to continue his legacy after he gave up, picking up peacock after Ladybug took away the butterfly. Nobody asked her to. No one knows why she would do that. It is ooc for her. (She doesn't have a personality in the movie, but like. Her dedication to Gabriel doesn't get exposition either. And even if it did, or there's an assumption that we know why would she do that when he gave up.)

We are promised a continuation despite the fact that the (anti-climatic, and pulled out of the ass for no reason) identity reveal & getting together happened. I wish it doesn't come. They need to stop. Never make a movie again. It was dogshit. Worst movie I've ever seen. I haven't seen many, but that means my standards are kinda low, actually and I was still let down. I saw it on July 11th and I am still mad. Saw Barbie this week, an actually good movie, got even more mad at how bad the miraculous movie was, how do you even get this bad? All of it was rushed, kept brief to stuff as much as they can together, not stopping to go in depth about anything, and they sure didn't say this was going to be a musical, but they spend half of the movie singing and it's the better half, despite the fact that characters leave reality and are alone on simplified backgrounds when they do. I am also pretty sure most of the characters from their class weren't even given voices. Alex cheers in the crowd at the end, Luka maybe mumbles something when Marinette crashes into him in a hallway in the beginning, but only Chloe, Alya and Nino have actual lines (+Sabrina says a few words, I think). I don't think Kagami even showed up, unless she was in one of the crowds.

All of it was like a bad fanfic somebody wrote after getting frustrated with Chat Blanc episode without looking up anything for reference, thinking only of having fluffy itemized ship ending and not giving a shit about anything else. I genuinely want to forget I saw it.

i do just have to say though.................... i feel like people who really really loved the movie's portrayals of the characters are adding aspects of the show characters onto them? you know what i mean? like i see people say that adrien and marinette were more likeable in the movie than the show, when movie adrien didn't perform a single act of kindness in the entire 2 hours despite kindness being a core trait of adrien in the show? marinette was normal and not particularly weird at all and just kind of a generic protagonist? were adrien and marinette actually more interesting in the movie than the show, or are you just cherrypicking the aspects of them you like the from the show and putting them on the movie characters to make your favorite amalgamation?

marinette fell for adrien not because he showed vulnerability and forgiveness and kindness and opened his heart up to her.... but because he awkwardly tried to help her up after being kind of weirded out by her? so like i guess she thought he was hot and that was basically it? chat noir fell for ladybug not because she was strong and confident and showed determination in the face of fear... but because she begrudgingly helped him up in the middle of a battle? so like i guess he thought she was hot and that was basically it? they fell for each other over just the bare minimum interactions? most of their relationship was a montage? like, did the movie do the work to convince you of lovesquare's romantic potential, or did you go into the movie already shipping them because the show had already convinced you?

thats totally a valid way to enjoy the movie ftr! i'm just saying.... idk it's weird to see people praising the movie for being "better" when i feel like a lot of the enjoyment of the movie actually hinges on watching the show as context for their characters. and i guess im just a cringe slow-burn enjoyer but i find it weird that people are using "faster" as a synonym for "better"

Well kind of, but also not really. Mash calls him a siscon, and Lance also calls himself a siscon, but tbh I think Lance is just the overprotective big brother trope cranked up to eleven. Yes, he is extremely obsessed with his little sister Anna, who is suffering from a disease that eats her magic, and would absolutely lose his mind if she started dating anyone because he thinks that nobody could ever be good enough for her, but he would never want to date her. While his obsession for her is extreme (bro literally hands out merch with his sister‘s face on it and can’t comprehend the fact that not everybody thinks that she’s the greatest thing in the entire universe) I think it‘s only on a platonic level.
