also i think im required to inform that i sent this panel to some of my irls because they're also civil engineers, and i asked if they recognized any of this and they said "oh god yeah"

while we're still here at the start of the ep/my thoughts i do wanna say, the whole "ugly" gag is getting. a little too well worn

it is really well drawn! the artist is very skilled at drawing exaggerated expressions and its always fun to see, but i think this is like the third or fourth time now that this has been used, and i think my brain is just tired of the repeated schtick. i dont hate it, but the funny has moved on for me

i really hope that in this next arc we see a return of a devilish or conniving lloyd, rather than silly "ugly" expressions; its funny when he looks stupid but id like a better balance, which means i want more instances of him looking cool and smart as hell!!!

of course these words will. probably fall on deaf ears its not like i can message the artist/adaptor directly lmfao but yknow its the thought that counts i guess. actually i might be using that phrase wrong not sure

I have a weird question for the FL community and to be honest I'm not sure I should be asking at all, but I've been having a rough week and I want to get it out of the way.

Soooo... How do we feel about fankids with Poor Edward? I ask because for the hell of it I did make a concept of what one might look like in picrew and tbh- I'm kinda in love with her. And I kinda wanna give her a more fleshed out design.

However before I get too excited, there is a LOT that would make this awkward. And I'm just going to get straight to the point; Edward being under the influence of a love potion makes the very existence of a kid kinda questionable. For the most part in the game's canon and fanworks it's easy to look past that since Poor Edward is so villainous by default it's hard to feel bad for him given he's forced the moon milk onto many such as Clara (my friend even mentioned that he was intending to use it on the player to stop their meddling) and overall its just an extension of that villainy since he uses the obsession with the player character to further torment them. So I kinda just wonder where we draw the line.

One thing I can definitely say is if this kid exists she has it rough. At the very least, Edward's been absent due to being stuck in Parabola. At worst though, he's actually had an influence on this kid.

EDIT: Thank you to all the support on this post. It's done a lot to ease my nerves. Since you've all mostly said you're down for this idea, I'll probably be drawing this kid soon just to show you guys what I had in mind.

I still find it so sick how Fukuchi went to Akutagawa and was like "join the Hunting Dogs, be my subordinate", and after Akutagawa refused Fukuchi just hijacked his body and mind and used him as a weapon against his will

The first time he received an offer to be mentored, Dazai basically said it's all up to him whether he would join or not and that there would be no consequences if he refused. Aku joining the Port Mafia was his choice, unlike him becoming Fukuchi's mindless vampire.

And we know from Mori in chapter 37 that it's common for Akutagawa to go off and do his own thing, even without explicit orders. Even if he has higher-ups to answer to, he still had a certain amount of freedom in the Port Mafia:

so public safety has known about asa/yoru's whole deal for a while. not surprised if this was intel collected by yoshida himself.

is this implying that yoshida went against public safety's wishes by warning asa to stay away from denji? his mission, supported by kishibe, not just being to keep denji in line, but to protect him.

i always assumed yoshida forbidding denji from transforming was a ploy by PS for nefarious reasons (mainly for greater control over CSM and his image). but, this supports the theory that yoshida/kishibe made a deal with PS to have him not transform in exchange for not killing him. kinda similar to asa and yoru's loophole solution to killing CSM.

this is an interesting idea, and it would also explain why yoshida brought fumiko into this (besides hoping a cute girl would be better at manipulating denji, which obviously backfired). her story of wanting to "save" denji was literal, and not completely a lie.

this begs the question of who here is actually saving denji, because it's not yoshida, nor fumiko, nor asa.
