I initially made this just cuz I wanted to give Clay his own little cape cuz as the co leader of Hole n Fun I'd think he'd have one you know? And then it turned into lore doodles lmao

I imagined it took them a bit before they found the golf course so to help hide them from dangers they created another level of camouflage. (Which is actually seen in the movie where the putt putt trolls all have golf paraphernalia to use as camo, and they disguise themselves as golf balls)

Viva doesnt wear hers anymore and Clay only wears it when he needs to be super professional

A wip I'll probably never finish but there was a scary screencap of Clay and I wanted to draw N2 Clay in the pose but I'm tired and my wrist hurts, I also wanna give him war paint but idk what to do yet, maybe something like brotherhood Clay's face paint.

Also wanted to give him something like a staff but didnt know what to give him cuz Viva has a golf tee, so I gave him a flag from the golf holes you know the thingies, he leads people with it and gets their attention by hitting it against the ground. I have a lot ideas about all this

Sandwing backs are really freckly with a wide range of shades which mimic sand so they can camouflage when looked down on from above.

I mean, I like it better than canon, but it just doesn’t look too great, and the name I was going to use (Braires) is already the name of the guard at Tartarus, so I had to settle on this, and it’s just kinda meh, but honestly, it’s not going to be perfect, and i unfortunately have to accept that. I uh- kind of poured all my chaotic energy into her, and separated her from the rest of the npc cast? Otherwise the dialogue would get totally fucked, and my ‘I need to hit this story with a drama nuke’ desire would cause trouble.

So she’s uhhh off on her adventure of a different genre. (But stuff she does Will affect things... dun dun dunnnn) but dude Wow she would be so irritated by Jun. Good thing we’re going to Sanctuary to leave them and take Preston.... OR THAT IS WHAT I WOULD SAY if she didn’t want to be anywhere near the vault!! We’re going somewhere else, babeyyyyy! Maybe talking with him and Murphy would bring some understanding (is what I would say if I were doing big character development in the beginning but we’re not!!) Shoving my desire for conflict into this.

I’m so charmed by all the fun little off rhyms between the mr. sunshine characters. the main five all at least have one big important thing in common with all four of their co-leads and those little moments of empathy and connection hit like a sledgehammer.

I bought this thing that is normally used to cover things up when you're hiding from the cops in the woods as a hunting blind, and strung it across the balcony railing.

I got it so people couldn't see in to my balcony, but honestly it's making it a lot better inside as well.

It covers the black plastic mesh I put up to keep the cats in. Helping me pretend my view isn't a parking lot, more apartments, a busy for lane road, and a police station.

Anyway $12 well spent.
