The straw hats wears different clothes until some point on the history, here are the romance dawn trio

okay time to explain how M.A.D works in my au, I don't change big things, M.A.D is still beging when an alternate gives non-wanted verbal information to a person.

The only stuff that really changes is the way it works on people, M.A.D varies depending on how strong is the person's mind, it can work like it normally does in TMC or it can change a bit

For example: if you are a small child then M.A.D will be like a disease, it makes you feel tired, you will be very sick, you will also feel obsessed with beging lonely, it makes you feel very sad and angry.

But this changes a bit when you are an alternates's vessel: you will feel not only tired, you'll feel weak, you slowly start becoming more and more crazy, as time passes, you will feel frustrated and sad, is almost the same as like the others but instead of desperately trying to k!ll yourself, or beging obsessed with being lonely, you'll desperately will try to be 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 people, you will not only 𝙬𝙖𝙣𝙩 but 𝙣𝙚𝙚𝙙 people, if you feel lonely while having M.A.D for way too long (like 5-7 months), you'll possibly look like my Nika looks like but with a small detail, you will completely loose your humanity, the person you once where will not be there anymore, instead, there will be a monster.

Nika accidentally inflicted M.A.D onto luffy when, you know, ace, that was when luffys ming was very weak, first he looses his friends and now his brother, my mind would be weak as well if that happened to me tbh

The case is, if being alone is the worst way of self damage to luffy, now imagine him with M.A.D, he feelt frustrated, sad and lonely at the same time and it was painful for him, those days were like hell for him, good thing there was Rayleigh, jimbei and Hancock, and of course Pao (Nika) , Nika didn't want luffy to feel like that (the big brother parasite has got him) so desperately tried to make him feel better, that worked thankfully.

Luffy still has M.A.D but now that his friends are there for him, is easier to control it cuz he doesn't feel alone anymore (whole cake was hell as well)

RAMBLING TIME

So... I've been thinking for a while and even if I don't support AK's actions, I still love the series. So I chose to keep going with my Dragon AU of TMC. Now it has a new name: Eyes of Mandela. For now, I'll talk about the lore and add some drawings.

So let's talk quickly about the entities.

Nekira the Endless Serpent (Gabriel): A forgotten draconian deity who got sealed after challenging God. He looks like a gigantic winged snake with several eyes on his body. He is so long that his body seems to never end...

Lurkers (Alternates): Reptile-like monsters. The very first Lurker was the last of Nekira's worshippers who got turned into a deadly monster by him before he got sealed. Lurkers have several abilities and the most noticeable one is to mimic sounds and voices to perfection, disorienting people. They can also emit low pitched noises that human ears can't pick up. However, those frequences affect the brain and someone who is exposed to them for too long ends up becoming insane. Those frequences can even affect electronics. Lurkers can turn a victim into another Lurker if they kill them with a bite.

The Hunter (Intruder): He was a dangerous criminal who got killed by the police. But he was brought back to life in the form of a hideous horned dog-like lizard. His goal ? Take human children to the Abyss (where Nekira is sealed) so they undergo a transformation into young Lurkers. He uses mostly the TV to create a virtual puppet thanks to a form of telekinesis in order to put the children under hypnosis. Then he takes them away without being seen because he can become invisible thanks to special scales that bend the light.

The Oracle (Preacher): She was Nekira's most loyal servant. So loyal and devoted that the Serpent turned her into a dragon as a blessing. She can communicate with him through her mind even after he got sealed. She can't speak human language and only uses an unknown tongue that is spoken by her, Nekira and the primordial Lurker (N). She possesses the same "light bending" scales like the Hunter and the same insanity-driving frequences like the Lurkers.

Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy, grab a seat

Hail, True Body is a fiction horror series on ao3 by @mustangs-flames that you can find via this link here! There are so far 5 parts with a 6th soon to come.

As best as I can put into my own words, it follows the story of Mark Owens and Cesar Hernandez primarily, but also a long list of side protagonists/antagonists that all have their own extremely in depth side plots and relationships that are explored along side and intertwined with the main 2.

With as little spoilers as possible and heavy glances at the series summary, a creature called a mimic kills and takes the form and memories of Cesar, Mark’s best friend, and learns far to late that pretending to be human comes with a little too much humanity for a monster to handle. On the other hand, Mark learns that the road down vengeance way is a slippery slope, and that there are things about even himself to discover, as ugly as they are.

It’s a story about what it means to be human in the face of the inhuman, the winding pathway of relationships, and what it means to trust and forgive. Theres as much found family as there is hurt/no comfort and that is incredible. And also theres a dog, so that automatically makes it great.

If you decide to check it out I heavily recommend it, but keep an eye out for the tags as it can get pretty intense!
