if you didn't already know despite me being ginormously obvious about it, adrià's endgame pairing-wise is gat :^) i'm just gonna take this opp to talk about their relationship start to end

tl;dr: in sr1 adrià admires him and they become best friends (which is just boss canon); sr2, they become each others' rocks, become fwbs (comic incoming!); sometime in a re-written srtt they get together, probably after one of them almost dies

in sr1 adrià REALLY looks up to gat. like this post says, boss sees gat as this badass guy. at first, adrià, who after being abandoned by everyone he trusts and not knowing when he's going to eat next, follows dex around like a lost dog lmao because while julius is completely unreachable (at first) dex is adrià's bedrock - planning ahead is just so FUCKIN sexy. so when johnny and dex get into it, adrià was very fast to defend dex LMAOOO to the point i imagine johnny was about to beat adrià's ass in, but after working together they rapidly become best friends, adrià loving his ruthlessness and not fucking around when it matters. and his loyalty is INFECTIOUS

now when sr2 starts, uh oh! adrià, bitter and angry, can't trust anyone anymore i guess! except for johnny. johnny is his one rock - carlos was kind of becoming that too, adrià thinking he could be this kid's johnny, except we all saw what happened to that. but johnny is in adrià's eyes unkillable. he won't ever stop being a saint and even when everything burns down around them the two of them are still going to be standing. i imagine when aisha dies, it's kind of the same for johnny. the only thing he can rely on in his life beyond himself is the boss. die-hard loyal!!

sometime in sr2 they become fwbs (comic incoming!!!). it happens one night, and afterwards it just becomes something they do on the reg.

i think then between that and sometime in a re-written srtt, the amount of people they sleep with just eventually dwindles to 1 - each other. because it's reliable. it's always there. they don't have to go somewhere or use some app and talk someone up. it's free (lol). they know each other like their favorite gun. adrià notices first and falls first, kind of an "oh." moment when they're waking up in the same bed one day, when adrià goes to the bathroom and notices two toothbrushes, two towels, johnny's hair gel... or something like not liking it when one of the saints hit on johnny and pierce having to ask him to calm down

it probably takes a lot longer for johnny "dense ass motherfucker" gat to notice, and something has to kind of knock him over the head for him to figure it out (imo either one of them almost-dying is probably the catalyst), but yeah! endgame 8^)

Sorry for the delay in answering this, I wanted to answer it well!!!

Here's my typical 5-step process:

flats

he has been flatted. You'll notice I also colored the lineart at this stage as well! Also, I do work with the background at the same time, but I have hidden it here for simplicity.

2. Cell shade shadows

I used to skip cell shading and just ball with my rendering, but I have found starting out like this is much faster!!

3. Airbrush shadows and colors

I did two things here, one is just a touch of airbrushing the colors into eachother, to help make everything more harmonious. The other is to airbrush colors onto my shadows! I set that layer to multiply, and mess around until something looks a little like I want.

4. Painting

This is the time sink - there's no getting around it, it just takes forever!! It's a lot about making the dark areas darker, and artifically injecting some color diversity - I like to diversify shades, and just slap on slight hue shifts as i go, and if it sucks I just paint over it some more. I draw different colors into eachother (look at the black shirt above, see how i bring in the tan and whites into the grey?) and add detail and texture. It's a little hard to explain beyond that, hmm... Do let me know if you have specific questions about it!

5. bedazzle and effects

I add extra highlights to the highlights, maybe a sparkle or two on a hard edge, hash lines for texture, and occasionally I also do screentones in shadows. Also, importantly, i blur things that shgould be out of focus! See on the arms and legs here - the bottom image has them blurred more intensely the further they are from the focal point. It's a small thing, but this effect goes a long way!

Annd done!

It's the little things that make a rendered piece sing! A balance between detailing and speed is a tricky one to figure out - I'm still working on that myself!

Also, there's two different ways I render at the moment, one is the quick-messy for sketches, which is what I've done for most of my fanart lately, but I assumed that you were asking about my full process so I went into detail on that. Tho if you're curious about my sketch rendering, anyone is welcome to ask me about that as well!

Yes! And I'm sure my answers are always too long-winded 😂 It makes me so happy to get comments on the silly things I write. Actually, brb, I'm sure in the initial excitement, I have forgotten to respond to some here and there.

6. What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?

This ficlet (WARNING: BREAK UP FIC). Life got hectic during Eddie Month so I only wrote a couple of things and this one hurrrrt baaad.

7. What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

Hmm, tough to pick seeing as I usually write happy endings. Lol, the number of times I ended something with Steddie kissing or saying, "I love you". I think I'll go with the entirety of my Joanie Munson AU because it's where I aim to be as fluffy/sappy as possible.

8. Do you get hate on fics?

I am extremely thankful that so far I haven't. And I am sending all my love and hugs to people who deal with/have dealt with hateful comments.

9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?

Steve Harrington & Eddie Munson vs. A Box of Condoms is the closest I have come (hehe, pun). Idk, I struggle to write smut. I'm much better with suggestive language and innuendo, but somehow this fic got the balance right and honestly, gave me a lot of confidence!

10. Do you write crossovers?

No. But I need everyone to know that I have a Riverdale x ST crossover sloshing around in my brain juice on the regular.

11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?

Not to my knowledge. But now I'm paranoid *also proceeds to have an existential crisis about ai scraping my very internet-based soul.

12. Have you ever had a fic translated?

No, but I'm more than welcome for someone to reach out.

13. Have you ever co-written a fic before?

No. I am absolutely open to it though! The closest to a collab I have done is Just a Shirt in which I wrote a whole fic from some incredible tags that were left on a ficlet.

I mean, it's gotta be Steddie right? I've never had a hyperfixation give me brainrot like this. Though, if we go back to lame teenage me, the ship that really got me into the fic/tumblr sphere was Sterek.

15. What's a WIP you want to finish but doubt you will?

I have been returning to a few wips I thought I had abandoned lately, so never say never. I firmly believe in taking a break if something isn't working out and circling back with fresh eyes.

16. What are your writing strengths?

Despite how I am probably answering most of these questions (lmao), I think I am pretty good at keeping my writing concise and moving it right along. It's not that I rush writing, but I am good at recognising when something I have written begins to meander. I like writing dialogue where people are cutting each other off, and crafting stuff that is a quick little ficlet etc. Having said this...

17. What are your writing weaknesses?

Descriptive language. I always get so caught up in action and dialogue that I easily forget descriptions of surroundings, objects, clothes etc. Funnily enough, right now I am working on a few quick visual aids (flash-sheet style sketches) for my Steddie BB fic of things that I need to keep in mind/remember to describe as a strategy that will hopefully help.

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?

I could never do it (I only speak English), but honestly, kudos to you if you do/can!

19. First fandom you wrote for?

Stranger Things is the first fandom I have written for.

20. Favorite fic you've written?

I swear to god this isn't a plug, but I thiiiiink it might be the wip I am oh-so-close to finishing. It's basically a character study of Steve's Mom and is her POV of the end of season 3. I have shared some snippets in the STWG server (and complained during writing sprints). I just need to do a solid edit and get a vibe-check read-through from someone else then it's good to go!!!

I just got married. Literally just yesterday and I can't fucking believe it.

I've always thought that I would never get married. Not that I don't want too. It's just no guy ever likes me to that extent. I am in my late 20s. Well actually going on thirty in a few months. But surprisingly, here I am.

I married this guy because I was told to. I had to. My parents sold me like a piece of meat in exchange of a deal for the business. Typical drama shit. Now, I am going to be stuck in an enormous house pretending to be happy even though I am even unsure how will this work.

As far as I know, based on the few months I have known him before marriage, I don't think we have anything in common. He is a few years younger than me, he works in corporate in their family business while I just do art for leisure and part time job as you may say coz I do sell most of my work. Next thing is, he's so fucking handsome. He is a great catch. Tall, handsome, smart, successful and seems kind. (Sexy also btw) On the other hand, I do look normal, not sophisticated nor a fashionista. I am also a bit curvey than what people nowadays say, the standard beauty. So... He is so out of my league.

I pity him. I know I am not happy about the marriage per say but he's on a great loss on it too. He is stuck with me. A boring, not smart, not feminine nor pretty looking enough.

"What are you doing?"

I jump a little when I suddenly heard his voice, making me stop sketching on my pad. "Hmm?" I turn my face to look back at him where he's sitting. "What?"

"I said... what are you doing?" He stands up and makes his way to the balcony where I am sitting.

"I'm just... trying to..." I feel awkward explaining to him what I was doing.

I was just drawing yes. However, it's nothing special. I was just letting my hands move on its own as I am drowning in my thoughts about us, this marriage.

"Is that the church where we got married yesterday?" He asks as he sees my sketch pad.

"Yeah... it just came into my mind... while... I was thinking of anything to draw..." I shyly close it and hide it from him.

"You're mother told me... you love to draw and paint... and to see it in person... it's amazing." He says

I could feel his huge presence behind me. His aura feels different from the guy I married yesterday or even the guy I've been seeing the past few months for the preparation of our wedding. He sounds more soft spoken and warm. I thought he will be the strict kind or a cold hearted douche bag behind the curtain

"Thank you." I quietly answer

We're both silent for quite some time. It's not that we are that awkward but I guess both of us got mesmerized to see the beautiful sunset happening right in front of us. The sky sort of blends with the sea as the light reflect onto the water. It's out of this world!

"It's so beautiful..." I mumble as I let the crispy cool wind blew my hair off my shoulders.

"It's indeed beautiful..." he utters. He then move beside me, to sit down.

His eyes are sparkling. And a hint of smile spreads on his lips.

He really seem is a nice person. He is just unlucky he got married to me. A responsibility and a duty for his family.

"What time are we going to have sex?" I spat out

His head snaps back to look at me, stunned. "What?" And then after he processed what I just asked him, he snorts a laugh out "Right... you're mother also told me that you are a bit...straightforward."

"Sorry..." I look away. "I just.. you know..."

"And she said... you're cheeks get red when you are embrassed."

"Wow... You've talked to my mother quite a bit huh?"

"Well..." he stood up and goes behind me again. "When you were doing fittings... she made sure I was not bored waiting..."

My head follows him as he get in his position behind me. "She must've said a lot of embarassing things about me too...?"

He hums as he thinks. "Not much."then he starts to lean in a little bit, his hand goes sliding down on the both sides of the chair I am sitting on. "Just... a few funny moments when you were a baby..."

My heart is pounding off my chest. His face is just inches away from mine. His eyes are scanning me. Is he watching my reaction? What does he want?

"What are you doing?" I ask

"Nothing..." he answers softly. Almost a whisper. "I just...I..."

He is kissing me. He's fucking kissing me! Oh my goodness! Well yeah we did seal the wedding with a kiss but that was just a peck. This is our first damn kiss.

We continue to make out like it has been due but not gonna lie, him making me turn my head like this to face him is straining my neck. HOWEVER fuck that shit. He is kissing me so damn good!

He then pulls away from the kiss leaving me hanging and wanting more.

"Y/n..."

"Hmm?"

"Are you on birth control?"

"Yes..."

"Good."

I squeal as he carries me off the chair, dropping everything I'm holding.

He throws me onto the bed and starts to unbutton his shirt. "Since you asked about us having sex... I guess we could go straight into it?"

Climbing on top of me, shirtless, I am in awe how fucking fine this man is. Damn. I guess there is something good about this arrange marriage after all.

"Okay... game..." I answer, giddy.

I go ahead unhook my bra and throw it away whilst still wearing my fitted off shoulder top.

"Do you mind if I?" He point at my floral skirt

"Go ahead..." my voice is shaky

He goes down and personally takes off my skirt along with my panties.

"We'll take it slow... and..." he is so cautious talking to me all of a sudden. He must be nervous too.

"Where is the brave guy who carried and thrown me on the bed?" I tease, smiling.

He chuckles, "I am still here... just... controlling it in." He then kisses me on my cheek. "We are married... yes... and its our duty to fuck and what.. but... I still want to respect you... as a woman... and do this right..."

I put my arms around his nape. "You are doing good." I whisper.

He is massive. His length is lengthy. I am lost of words to explain it but he perfectly fits me. I think more than perfect actually. I could really feel him IN me. Full, warm, and pulsating.

"Y/n..." he cries my name as our hands linked together. "Y-you... ugh..." he is shaking and sweating like me.

"Are you trying to say... it feels good?" I kiss his cheek

He is sweating bullets. His eyes never left my face. He is really gazing at me, seeing me get wrecked by him. It's not weird. It's like he is admiring me also absorbing every moan that escapes my lips. If that makes sense.

We continued until both of us came and pass out from extreme adrenaline. We are exhausted but it was a blast.

"So, since I'm in birth control... we'll always do it raw?" I ask, still panting

He laughs again. He does enjoy it when I say random things and straight to the point.

A few months later, so far... I'm still married. Yey for arrange marriage. (Sarcastic)

Yes we started as strangers forced to be married and I thought we would be worst; fighting or being enemies like the ones I see in movies and drama but because of our one week honeymoon it shifted a little. We got to know each other a little and we talked about our bounderies. It was all good. It's like a good partnership but on a business level.

Anyways, yeah. It's all good. However, there's one thing missing in our deal lately. "Sex"

We did quiet a lot during our honeymoon. Like, a lot... a lot. I didn't even know I could do a marathon like that. And if I was not on birth control I swear I'm pregnant now. That's how much seeds I got from him.

However, after we got back from abroad Yunho became busy. His schedule is hectic and he is barely home or in the country. So we barely get the time to do it. We do a few make out sessions here and there but not on a regular basis. Their family business is on steroids like everyday is a peak season. I hate it but I can't complain about it.

I never dared to ask him for his time or even a date (not that I need a date but yeah). We just started to connect, to make this work but got drifted apart the second we got back. He became a stranger to me again. It's like meeting him for the first time every 3 to 4 days that he's back.

I want this to work. I need it to work. Because we will be together for a long time.

"Y/n!" my mother-in-law welcomes me to her home. "Thank you for visiting me..." she hugs me and pats my back. "So sad Yunho is out of town and can't come..."

"Yeah, he have been... busy." I agree, smiling.

"Come, I'll introduce you to my friends and their sons. They are Yunho's childhood friends."

"Oh..."

I follow her walk from the foyer, across the living room and out to the terrace and until we reach the gazebo where the three elegant ladies are waiting.

"Here she is." Mrs. Jeong says as we both arrive. "Isn't she lovely?"

All three ladies cheer as they see me. They complimented how I look and how I am the best wife for Yunho. I smile at each of their words but I don't know what they meant by best wife when I barely became a wife to him. He's not here.

"By the way, this is my son... Mingi." The lady with the bob hair cut says pointing to the tall guy, wearing a very loose and unbuttoned top, sitting on the fence. "Mingi! Stop smoking and come here." She calls

He jumps off the fence and put off his cigarette on the ashtray. "Mingi." He sturnly says. We both shake hands and nod at each other.

"And I'm San... and this is Yeosang." A man with broad shoulders on the other side introduces him and himself.

"Aren't they all charming." Mrs. Jeong says to me.

"They are." I smile and bow to all three

The catch up continued for quite sometime until it started to drizzle a little bit. It didn't bothered me but the ladies are not into it. They all cutely panicked and hurried their way back into the house.

I tell them that I will stay and just draw for a bit and I'm glad Mrs. Jeong allowed me. She is sweet and kind. She also supports my hobby.

I got into my zone sketching and trying to capture the beauty of the garden. I didn't even noticed that I've been drawing for more than an hour already.

"You paint to right?"

I raise my glance up and see Mingi, the guy with the deep ass voice earlier. He is smoking again.

"I do."

"Mrs. Jeong boasted about your works to my mother last week. She said... you are talented."

"She's kind. I'm just... alright." I go back to sketching whilst he makes his way closer to where I am sitting

"Do you paint people too?"

My hand stops. "People?"

"Yeah... I meant... portrait... not on people..."

I laugh at his panic reaction. "I know what you ment... why do you ask?"

"Could you paint one for me?" He blows a puff of smoke and then leans his back, crossing his legs. "Don't worry... I will pay."

"I'm not questioning if you will and can pay... but..."

"But what?"

"I don't paint... requests... for now..." I look away. "I'm trying to explore ideas... and learn more... for now... I only paint what I find beautiful...and interesting... the ones I am selling, those are old painting..."

"I see..." he flicks his cigarette on the ashtray.

"Yeah, sorry... Maybe you could find somebody else to paint your parents and--"

"Who said it's for my parents?"

I look at him, confused. "Then... who are you requesting for?"

He smirks, lightly bitting his lower lip. "Me."

"Oh."

"Will you still not paint me?"

"Ahm... sorry...but..."

"Why?" He raises a brow. "Don't you find me beautiful and... interesting?"

Fuck yeah he is beautiful. Sharp eyes and nose. Plump and rosey lips. And a nice built of body. He is huge but lean.

Yunho... my husband is leaner and taller.

"Do you really want me to do a painting of you or you are trying to mess with me?"

"Both." He's so honest. "So tell me, what can I do to peak your interest?"

Fuck. What's going on? Why is he coming at me like this? So bluntly, in broad daylight and in my husband's family home.

"Y/n..." Yunho then suddenly appears. He's still wearing his suit.

"Look who just arrived." Mingi smiled and stands up, welcoming his pal. "Fresh from the airport I pressume."

"Yeah..." both of them quickly hugs and do their handshake.

They have a friendship handshake. And this Mingi, is trying to suggest someting to me just a few seconds ago. What the fuck? Is he doing it on purpose? Is he testing me if I would cheat?

"Just met your wife..." Mingi says, "I'm asking for her to paint something for me... but she refuses."

Glad he didn't lie.

"All of a sudden? You want a painting?" Yunho asks

"Well... I just do." He shrugs his shoulder. "Plus... I want to be friends with your wife."

"Don't worry... he's an ass sometimes but most of the time he's good." Yunho says to me, smiling.

He talks to me like we've never been apart for more than a week. After not having one text nor a call from him. He's a great actor. (Why am I so irritated?)

"I just arrived and saw you two from afar so I said hi... I'll just go inside and meet mom and the rest." Yunho says

"Go ahead... and mingle with the mother earths... I'll stay here with your wife."

"Okay."

After the sun setting down, I grab my things and go inside where Yunho and the others were.

I cautiously emerge from the glass door from the terrace. "What happened to your skirt?"

I startle as I see Yunho. "Oh." I look down at my skirt and see the dark stains on it. "From my hand probably..." I show him my left hand that have charcoal color stains as well from me sketching.

He then comes closer and suddenly gives me a kiss on my temple. "I missed you." He mumbles under his breathe

I look up to my tall husband, "Missed me? But you never even texted me or called me this week." My brows are crunching and shows how irritated I am. We had a deal. We make efforts for this fixed marriage at least. "I texted you... multiple times asking you when will you come home... and to my surprise... you arrive today."

He snorts a smile. "Straightforward as ever." He tugs the loose strand of my hair behind my ear. "I was busy. That's all. I didn't even have time to text my mother too."

"So, every time you go abroad or out of town... should I expect cold treatment from you?"

"No..." he shakes his head, "No... it's just..."

"You told me to not ask anything about your work for your family's business... I get that. But atleast just let me know if I would sleep alone in the bed for one week. I have needs okay?"

He smiles again, "needs?" He repeats, sounding amused

"You know what I mean..." I roll my eyes and walk pass him but before I could totally leave the area he follows me and take my hand.

"Do you want to fuck later?" He blurts out, smiling

"Whoa, whoa, whoa!" Mingi is chuckling as he hear Yunho. "Buddy.... what a topic to hear."

"Go away, Mingi. This is a private matter."

I don't know what fucking happened. But the next thing I know after Yunho left to go inside the house, Mingi and I argued. He kept on asking me to paint him which I kept saying no. I even asked him face to face why is he messing with me. I remembered walking away from him.

However he did follow me and well... it... went downhill after that.

He thrust his fingers more. Faster. I am barely hanging on him. I could feel my nails digging onto his shoulder.

"Come for me." He growls as he is inserting another digit. "Is this it?" He asks curving his fingers in me

"Holy shit!" I squeal as he hits it. He found my spot.

My mouth is open in O shape. I am barely breathing and barely holding it in. I want to fucking scream but we can't get caught.

"C'mon baby girl... let it out."

"Fuck!"

I came and collapsed on him. I can't fucking believe this! I am on high from the f!ngering he did that even though I knew this is not right, me dealing with him, but then again I said yes.

"Okay...fine." I breathe out. "I'll paint you..."

He pauses and a smile beams from his lips. He understood what I meant by that.

"You won't regret it." He lowers his head and continues to lick onto my sensitive tips

❤️ Small things that matter part 2

“Hey Sanji, uhm I wanna sketch a little but it’s kind of too noisy outside, is it ok if a sit here?” Asked the curly haired to the Straw Hats cook “Yeah, I don’t see a problem with it as long as you don’t interrupt me” Usopp smiled “Ok then! Thanks a lot! Promise I won’t distract you!”

And so the sniper took his stuff and sat on the dinning table to start his sketches, he passed through some pages and noticed his last drawing a sketch of Nami taking care of her tangerines, doing something she cared a lot about ‘Maybe… since Sanji is here, I could do a little sketch of him while he is cooking’ Usopp thought ‘Though I’m not sure how comfortable he is with that…’Usopp hesitated to start his drawing of the cook ‘Well… it’s not like he’ll see it…’ he ended up doing it anyway, he couldn’t resist it, it was the perfect opportunity, and now that he had the idea he couldn’t get it out of his head, so he started sketching.

Sanji was moving around, but Usopp was good at capturing live moments like he did with Nami, he started drawing the kitchen, he took a peek to make sure the cook didn’t notice him drawing him, he was apparently making some drinks, then he took another look and another and then another, but making sure the blonde wouldn’t notice him, but he wasn’t as slick as he thought he was.

The cook came close to him “What are you drawing?” He asked with a cigarette on his mouth “U-U-Uh nothing!!!!” He said as he hide his sketchbook “Nothing? Hmm, but I did hear your pen, I also noticed you looking my way” ‘Shit!’ Was all the sniper could think “Several times” ‘Shit!’ He thought again.

“Hmm, well, maybe you don’t want me to see what you are drawing, is that it?” The tall man asked “I-“ The cook looked at him as he tried to come up with a lie, at the end he couldn’t so he just said the truth “Y-yeah… you are right, I don’t want you t-to uhm see what I’m drawing…” He said shyly “And why may that be?” The cook asked calmly “Well… Im a little ashamed of it… I really didn’t want you to find out…”

The blonde one took a smoke out of his cigarette as he thought about what Usopp said “Could it be… that you where drawing me?” Usopp’s heart skipped a beat, he was able to read him so easily, the sniper took a big breath before answering in shame “Y-yes” was all that he could reply, he looked down, he couldn’t look at him in the eyes, but to Usopp’s surprise the cook smirked “May I see it?” He asked and Usopp’s heart skipped a beat again “Y-you mean you aren’t mad at me?!” The dark eyed asked “Why would I be?” Answered the blonde “W-well I was drawing you without… without your permission…” He answered shyly “Well I don’t mind” Usopp looked up “For real?” The curly haired asked, the blonde hummed in affirmations “I’m actually honored” He said, and Usopp still couldn’t believe it “Really?!” He said with sparks on his eyes “Yeah, I’m dying to see it, so… are you ok with showing it to me?” Sanji asked calmly “Well… If you want to see it so badly, I can’t deny it from you, specially since I didn’t ask for your permission to do it” Sanji laughed “Well show it to me then!” Usopp nodded.

His sketch wasn’t finished but the basics where there, it just needed a little more detail that he wasn’t able to add because Sanji came to him, he flipped the pages until he got to it “Sooo… here it is! It’s not a big deal! It’s not even finished! It’s just a little sketch” Sanji smiled “Well… I think it’s amazing” Usopp’s heart start beating so fast “R-really?” “Sure thing! I really like it, it feels…” He paused, he seemed to be looking for the right words “Delicate, like a lot of care was put into it, I feel like it captures my essence while I cook, even if to you is just a “simple sketch”, I think you did great, I- I like it a lot” Usopp couldn’t help but blush, he isn’t used to compliments AT ALL, and them coming from Sanji…

“OH! Well pst it was nothing! To the great captain Usopp this things are easy! Besides being an awesome captain and sniper, I am a incredible artist!” He said with pride “Well, the “Great Captain Usopp” was just sweating buckets about this drawing just seconds ago” Usopp raised his finger as if he was going to say something, but he took it down and admitted defeat as he sighed “Heh you got me there” He replied, Sanji smirked.

“Well great captain Usopp, I would love it for you to finish it and maybe let me keep it? After all you did draw me without my permission, is only fair I keep it” Usopp couldn’t argue with that “Oh well, yeah, you can keep it- Wait! Oh I ended up distracting you from cooking! Shooo shooo go back to cooking! And that way I can keep drawing you too!” Sanji laughed “Hey don’t think you can boss me around! Though you are right I should get back to making this drinks” He said as he headed back to the kitchen “As you said they are being pretty loud out there, they might get tired and I’ll have some drinks ready for them” Usopp smiled “Is there one for me?” Sanji’s back was turned on Usopp “Of course there is” He replied and Usopp smiled again, not knowing that Sanji was smiling too as he said it.

The Straw Hats cook went back to work and Usopp to sketching now drawing freely without any fears, this drawing wasn’t for him anymore, it was for Sanji, he was going to work hard on it, at the end the drinks where finished and so was the drawing, Sanji handed Usopp one, before going outside and handing them out for the rest of the crew, Usopp thanked him, when Sanji came back Usopp handed him the drawing and the man praised it with joy, Usopp blushed at the compliments “Next time draw a portrait of me, you can keep that one, but only if you capture my charm” Sanji said and Usopp laughed “I sure will” He answered.

Now only Sanji knows where that sketch Usopp did of him is, but I’m sure it’s somewhere special.

Heck I don’t actually remember if Pure Vanilla/Dark Cacao was a request or if it was something I just planned to do on my own. I know it started out as my own idea, but sometimes that happens and then before I get to doing it, someone requests it and I just make it a request, and I don’t remember if that happened here

But regardless, this was a drawing I made of the idea for a purecacao fankid on it’s own, and I’m posting it as such

Now you’ll notice that this isn’t my usual format. This is because this isn’t her official design, it’s just that last night, I had this idea for a design of her as a young child with Dark Cacaoian clothing, and so I just wanted to make a quick doodle to show you

It was just going to be that picture in the middle, as it’s more sketchy and rough, and clearly not how I usually do these fankid requests. However when I finished, I realized that I made her too small. See, if I may explain some things, for my poorly drawn comics and other things that use that particular brush (it’s the Narinder Pencil if you want to know), and I don’t like enlarging pictures drawn with it because the lines get all blurry and it loses its texture. Prior to the Charcoal Cheese comic, for my poorly drawn comics I tended to enlarge the sketch to fit the screen, and then I’d completely redraw the lines. But here, I had already colored the whole thing, plus it was multiple layers to redraw, so I didn’t want to. But I couldn’t just crop down the canvas to fit it because my square canvases are already 500x500 pixels, they’re very small (and also I think the small size might account for why they may not show up in the best quality, but I’ve been using this size for over 2 years and I’m set with it, and I feel like changing would be too much effort). And I feel like making it even smaller would just tank the quality even more

Though to be honest, I’m glad I made a second version with my proper sketching process, as I was better able to figure out her colors and design

Speaking of her design, yeah this is sort of what I’m thinking for her look, at least in terms of hair, dough and eye color. She’s not gonna keep the braid though, that’s just a kid thing

I feel like maybe I should give her streaks, but I’m not sure where to put them or what color

Also I realize that I forgot to put KitKats on her design. I wasn’t planning to originally since this is a little kid’s outfit, but also in some of the artbook drawings, young Dark Choco had small Oreo shoulderpads, so maybe she should have something similar. I had an idea for her wearing tiny KitKat shoulderpads, but I forgot them. Ah well

Hmm, does she look like a purecacao kid? I’m looking at her and I feel like she looks more like her own character than related to them. Maybe it’s the lack of streaks

Oh yeah, and one more thing I want to add, I’ve decided she’s a post-canon kid, as in Pure Vanilla and Dark Cacao got together after the events of the Dark Flour War and canon in general. The story in my head goes that Dark Cacao developed feelings for Pure Vanilla, but was hesitant to tell him about it, maybe because he’s socially awkward and wasn’t sure how to, maybe because Pure Vanilla and White Lily had something going on and he didn’t want to stir up drama between them. But regardless, Dark Cacao felt that it wasn’t so much of a big deal since they were immortal, he could tell him when he felt it was right. But then the Dark Flour War happened and Pure Vanilla seemingly died, with Dark Cacao never telling him how he felt. But then years later, Pure Vanilla came back, and while Dark Cacao was of course overjoyed, it also caused him to realize that even being immortal, they don’t have all the time in the world, and he needed to tell Pure Vanilla how he felt, and so during the events of Odyssey, he confessed to Pure Vanilla, and then likely sometime after Dark Enchantress’s defeat, they got together, and later had this girl

Also this means she has a (probably) 30+ year older brother in Dark Choco, but it’s all good

I feel bad just keeping her unnamed, but I don’t know what to call her. *sigh*

Any suggestions?

But yeah, I just wanted to show y’all this idea. Don’t know when I’ll be finishing her, but I’ll draw her officially at some point

She can! Whenever it comes to reading, spelling, easy-to-grasp math problems, I think Yoimiya is likely bursting with them; as much as she loves encouraging the little ones to have fun, I think she also likes teaching them little things here and there! Plus, she's gotta be there to help with their homework, right?

2. Yoimiya's favorite color is pink.

Hmm... I think she could like it, but likewise with my other muse, Chie, I think Yoimiya feels certain elements of 'femininity' don't fit her; she's not quite as elegant as Ayaka, and although she could certainly clean up if she wanted to... she, if unintentionally, tends to stray from those things. Our girl's confident, but sometimes she wanes.

this was so extra for just asking about a color preference I'm sorry tldr it's not her favorite, but she does like it!

3. Yoimiya reads wattpad.

Listen, in a modern AU... she 100% would and would fawn over every romance. Self-inserts herself sometimes and sighs adoringly at the prospect of living that sort of lovey-dovey fantasy... romance, action, fantasy and mystery would be her favored genres.

4. Yoimiya does intricate and expensive cosplays.

Cosplay and especially prop-making would be her bread and butter! Although in her canon universe, I suppose it would be only costumes... but I think every version of Yoimiya would thrive in making the fabrics, sketching the concept, testing hairstyles and finalizing the look... I like to think whenever the spookier season comes around, she helps with picking out costumes for the kids.

5. Yoimiya has an incredible short-term memory but an awful long-term memory.

Oooh, I like this one! I could see it being accurate to an extent, sort of like how a firework pops, fizzles out but the smoke still remains. I think Yoimiya forgets less important things, like what her favorite dish is or if she wore socks last night before heading to bed, but she remembers most - if not - everything about a person. She believes that which is said to her is very, very important, and keeps it locked away in her 'lil heart.

6. Yoimiya is very good at using chopsticks.

Honestly, this gal eats with her hands most times. I think she gets a 'lil too clumsy for chopsticks sometimes, but she can manage her way around them!

7. Yoimiya can't handle criticism.

I think she can handle critiques well, but growing up it might've frustrated her. I think she would've been impatient in following her father's footsteps, so whenever a firework would backfire or she would mess up a color sequence, she would be upset by it. An adult now, it's embarrassing to recount on, but necessary -- she's grown from that, and now values patience more than ever.

8. Yoimiya sleeps in until noon.

Oh certainly, Yoimiya's sleep schedule is horrid. She will work all night if she's got an order due, work all day, work again all night until it's ready! She's great at a lot of things, but she fails poorly in taking care of her sleep schedule. You can find her passed out atop her working bench most days, or sprawled across the floor. Few times does she actually land in bed before sleeping.

9. Yoimiya is a great artist.

She wouldn't consider herself great, but she tries! She likes to sketch the trajectory of her fireworks / the color pattern before she gets to work, and most things she owns has a doodle or three on them.

10. Yoimiya is constantly singing for no reason.

hmm, i'm not fully sure what the 'aesthetics' here means but if it's about irl tastes, i'd say it's actually the opposite, in that i started drawing elves and then realized that i want my house to (theoretically) look like a FA noldorin castle lol. realistically decorations of those sorts are unfortunately hard to find or make, though I am thinking of making a nice cloak for wearing around the house!

🌈 Do you use more warm or cold colors?

probably a pretty even balance? for sketch layers I usually use blue and yellow/orange to differentiate parts, and characters/backgrounds are just whatever fits best. it might skew a bit towards cool colors though, mostly since maglor is very blue.

🙃 Which is easier: faces facing left, right, or front view?

never front view - left or right depends on the day, but it's usually 3/4 angle facing left. i've actually been using the gil-galad variations series to practice different angles, though some gils are more inclined towards one direction than others.

📏 What’s your go-to canvas size?

i use autodesk sketchbook, and the default canvas size is 1920x1076 px, so i usually start there and crop as needed. for pieces i know are going to be bigger i usually set it to 3000x2000 and crop, but sometimes stuff like the family tree end up needing extra canvas extensions

uhh based on the baby videos i'm going to say around 2, and my oldest distinct OC (now my dnd character) is from a ten-printer-papers-long thing i drew when i was 4. i did a lot of random sketches for a while, and started digital art in 2020!

If you could show one piece of your art to your childhood self, which would it be?

ooh good question! hmm.

i'm going to say the gil galad variations here. in terms of purely technical 'wow, i did that?' i have a handful of painting studies i really like, and there's a star wars piece i just finished that feels like it poured directly out of my brain and onto the page. i'm pretty sure the maglor wedding music one was the hardest-to-pose pieces i actually finished, and the melkor one is one of my favorites in capturing a concept,

but when i was a kid, i remember the weird sense of disconnect where complicated, good-looking art fell into the 'wow, i'll never be able to do that' category. and while the gil galads series does have a good range of distinct faces, poses, and coloring, it also shows a few months of progress in a pretty simple format.

1. What was the first element of your OC that you remember considering (name, appearance, backstory, etc.)? 

It definitely started with appearance!! I knew I wanted to make Pepper's sire, so I played around with some ideas for a design and the plan was to develop from there. I still have the old sketches actually but they're all very uglee 😭 here are the few I'm feeling brave enough to share:

4. In developing their backstory, what elements of the world they live in played the most influential parts? 

It was definitely the elder manipulation(TM) in VTM. A lot of his backstory after getting embraced revolves around having to be ordered around by a manipulative person(not really an elder tho, more like an ancilla) who destroyed his self esteem and still haunts him until the moment the story of VTMB starts. She's an essential part of his character arc actually, since she comes back into his life and gets him under her control again, with things only coming to an end when he manages to regain his self worth and fully remove her from his life- by killing her. With an axe. 🪓

But yeah this is pretty much how a lot of sire/fledgling relationships go in VTM, so that definitely influenced his backstory the most.

8. What (if anything) do you relate to within their character/story? 

Ohhh everything. Like, ok, not everything, but so so much. I mentioned a bit here. Tbh it's probably easier to list the things I don't relate to him about djcjjck he went to college for journalism which is like, hm. A choice. Couldn't be me. He also raises plants which for some reason I'm unable to raise and always accidentally kill. He's also a freak about keeping his apartment organized and clean which LMAO could NOT be me

13. How far past the canon events that take place in their world have you extended their story, if at all? 

Hmm I have occasionally thought about him and Pepper after vtmb, and I'd love to make them go to seattle and insert them into the events of vtmb2, but I kinda dropped the idea bc the game isn't coming out anymore :/ (I'm ignoring the new vtmb2's existence ok it is NOT real)

14. If you had to narrow it down to 2 things that you MUST keep in mind while working with your OC, what would those things be? 

HMM. This is a tough one 🤔 only 2 things?? I guess if I had to pick like, the absolute most important things about Vincent, when I'm writing anything with him, it's that 1. He's very sentimental, even though he may not look like it, or show it, and 2. He always thinks he could overthink things More.

HGHGHGH. ive never thought about this actually. i think inspiration doesnt really come from the art itself for me, but the artists attitude About art. anyone that fucks around and does whatever they want and really puts their genuine selves on the page is hella inspiring to me no matter what their art looks like, and it motivates me to do better

16. whats the most daunting part of yr process?

hmm. that awkward stage between having the composition and basic sketch laid out -> actually drawing is real stressful lmao.i never know what exactly to do... should i clean up the sketch? is it better to just redraw it completely? should this be cleaner? how do i even make it cleaner.... etc

Tsumugi: Both of them seem to be in deep sleep. Their vitals look fine too and both “SSVRS” as well as their life support device are running without any issues. 

Well, I’m no expert so I don’t really know, though. I just read the manual.

Sora: HaHa~♪ The “Valkyrie” pair just look like they’re sleeping to Sora~ That’s the “colour” they give off!

Natsume: They really are sleeping or rather, simply just dreamiNG.

Tsumugi: Such grandiose equipment is needed for simply just that, huh. If technology continues to be developed even further, it might become even smaller in size, though.

Natsume: YeAH. It would be amazing if they would make it as small as a contact lens like an SF cyberpunk fiLM.

By simply putting on a pair of glassES, people can go to and fro their desired dreams and realiTY.

Movies, manga, video games and many other thinGS – There are an infinite amount of ways to escape from realiTY.

This “SSVRS” is a device that allows one to dream at their own wiLL. It would be nice for it to stand shoulder-to-shoulder or even go beyond similar forms of entertainmeNT.

We might end up in history textbooks as the pioneers of such technoloGY.

Tsumugi: Ahaha. If that were to come to pass, “Switch” might be the most famous idol group in the next world.

Even for ES which is comprised of a rivalry of warlords, I’m sure it’s rare for someone to be a “significant historical figure” just like that. It might be a bit common for people to call Eichi-kun that.

Natsume: If we win “SS” and gain some powER, it might be a good idea to use it for thAT. Laws are conveniently established for politicians and winners to reap the advantagES.

Tsumugi: What~? I’ve been working hard for that one reason both in the past and the present, though.

For some reason, people tend to bear a sense of distrust or hostility towards me. But I’m not attacking them out of malice.

#2- hmm well i dont know if we have a concrete style but, i like how we draw eyes sometimes. other thing would be lineart. i am proud of it hehe :3c

#5- that would be things we have less experience in... theyre such a pain to draw. example would be complex machines or anything that requires a lot of details. wanted to say backgrounds too but drawing them isnt as hard as coming up with one...

Oh, did you notice one thing - each of Misfits has bakugan from each of clans, - Dino Trox, Flying Ventri, Mammal Bruiser, Dragon Dragonoid and Aquantic Hammerhead. But no insect character. What if it means Backslash could join Misfits? I dont think it would be other dudes from their team cause come on, they dont have personalities, at least now.

And how Backslash behaves, maybe he really moved to Dom from Klipse and so he's becoming same in character as Dom? Cause it's kinda fits. And with Beyal and Backslash, imagine if we think that they're both same character from other aus, and if we took 2) theory, then Beyal as newborn was taken to Master Ei and left there, and Backslash was thrown into other dimension.

If it was said that other siblings are dead(probably), I had joked once that Klipse fed them to his monsuno (really bad joke, but there were simmilar jokes in show), or if clones were turned into monsuno, so Backslash could be one who was eaten by Backslash or who is later was turned into monsuno?

I’m not sure Backslash could try to be a member of the Misfits unless something like happens to either him or Kage. Like if something were to happen to Backslash, the only ways he might join them is if he was ousted as the leader of the Insect Clan or if something happened to Mantid that makes him join them. If Kage is involved and he’s in a bad situation, then he’d be willing to join the Misfit out of their friendship because unlike every other Clan leader who interacts with Kage, Kage and Backslash act like actual equals and not subordinates.

I’m sure someone in that production had to be a part of Monsuno, but considering there was a ton of people who worked on Monsuno since it was a joint project with Japan and America, it’d take some time for anyone to find a person who worked in both projects. Still, at least we can still the similarities amongst Backslash, Hargrave and Dom. Granted we theorize that Hargrave is the parent, and if they’re both Hargrave and Klipse’s creation, they’d be full brothers.

As for the Beyal and Backslash thing, I’m fine with Beyal going to Master Ey since he raised him right, but how does one chunk a child off to another universe? I mean, sure Klipse and Hargrave could make one, but sending one son to another universe is a bit much even if Backslash ended being a badass. I guess Hargrave just wants the best for the boys.

Also, I know the last is a joke, but that is dark! Like, sure we could see Klipse doing that, but I don’t think he’d actually go through with it because clones and children take a ton of time to ‘perfect’ and feeding to the Monsuno would be a waste. Also, do Monsuno’s even want to eat humans or do they even want to eat something because we’ve haven’t seen much on if a Monsuno wants to eat something. And turning the clones into Monsuno could also take a ton of experimenting and with a limited time and resources, could Klipse even go there? Lastly, maybe Backslash was named after Klipse’s Monsuno Backslash because he couldn’t think a good name and Hargrave was away when he named him. I mean, look at Six, the poor guy doesn’t even have an actual name, you think his younger brother had a better chance? Nope.

ok most of them are podfic tags (Aru does podfics) but ignoring those we have angst, ghosts, crack, and friendship which checks out lmao most of my stuff is either serious angsty shit or silly crack friendship stuff

oooh. I always have a LOT of ideas but don't do much with them. I'll sketch out ideas for fics a lot (because I am an artist before anything) but usually I don't write stuff unless I have a particular idea that just will Not leave me alone (usually I have a bunch of content for it by then) and I write it just to get it out of my brain. most of my wips dont go anywhere but a few I've actually completed and posted!

What book are you currently reading?

I shamefully have not read a physical book in a hooooot minute. I HAVE, however, read over 2 million words of fanfic since New Years 🥴 I’m in a hellish tomarrymort phase rn. It demands attention. But the last actual book I read was a side-by-side comparative read of Twilight and Midnight Sun, which is such a funny experience if you’re there for simple pleasures. Edward is the most dramatic immortal teen I’ve ever seen in my life.

What’s your favorite movie you saw in theaters this year?

The only movie I actually saw in theaters this year was M3GAN, which was actually very good and fun imo!

What do you usually wear?

I spend the vast majority of my time in my house, so sweatpants and sweatshirts/old t-shirts are my usual attire. If I go out, I’m a jeans/t-shirt or sweater/simple jewelry/makeup kind of gal. My mom has a tendency to dress up a bit when we go somewhere, and I’ve had this behavior imprinted upon me as a result. I have to at least look clean and put together, although I don’t like doing too much.

I don’t have a nickname lol, I just go by my given name.

Did you grow up to become what you wanted to be when you were a child?

I honestly had no idea what I wanted to be when I was little. I had a very hazy idea of something medical, but that never went anywhere. I’m too soft for that and couldn’t stand going to school for that long! I ended up going to college for computer science and getting a job in tech, which was a completely random decision I made the last few months of my senior year in hs. Worked out pretty well though!

Are you in a relationship? If not, who is your crush if you have one?

No relationship, no crush…I reiterate, I do not leave my house 😭 My parents are begging me to get out and try to meet someone, but the odds of me finding someone I like in my area are extremely slim and the process is unpleasant at best. One thing about me though is that whenever I start to develop a crush, I create a timeline on my notes app and document every interaction and unhinged thought I have so that I can laugh about it afterwards. I highly recommend it because it’s absolutely hilarious.

What’s something you’re good at vs. something you’re bad at?

Hmm…I’m alright with artistic things depending on what they are, organizing things, and anything involving following directions. I’m bad at being in large social situations, talking seriously about my feelings, and being assertive.

Dogs or cats?

I like both, but I prefer to be around calmer animals. Most cats are calm, so I like them more consistently than dogs! I just don’t like when dogs are super hyper and loud and pushy, it stresses me out a little bit hehe. I own a very anxious and mercurial cat who I love with all my heart 🥰

If you draw/write, or create in any way, what’s your favorite picture/favorite line/favorite etc. from something you created this year?

Ahhhhhh idk…I’ve got a lot of projects that are either almost finished or just sketches, so I feel like I don’t have much to post!! I did this picture of Jimin from BTS when he released his solo album FACE though, and I like how it turned out :)

What’s something you’d like to create content for?

Well. Since I’m in that mess of a tomarrymort phase, I’ve sketched a bunch of stuff from the various fics I’ve read that I would like to clean up and post at some point. I’d also like to delve back into Homestuck and maybe Percy Jackson too - those were middle school favorites of mine and my old notebooks are littered with little doodles. I actually recently decided to make a tumblr for posting all kinds of random fanart besides SW so that I could do that in the future! I haven’t made any posts yet, but if anyone’s interesting in following, I’m @delineate-creates!

What’s something you’re currently obsessed with?

Already mentioned it twice already lmaooooooooo 🫠 Tom Riddle’s evil ass. You wanna know how many random dreams I had with Voldemort in them? Not even just Tom, but Voldemort??? Twelve. And that’s only the ones I could clearly remember. I’ve lost at least that many upon waking. It’s so bad y’all I hate myself.

What’s something exciting you were excited about that turned out to be disappointing this year?

I don’t wanna say disappointing because I liked the show for the most part, but I was sad that there was no mention of Cas at all in the Supernatural prequel The Winchesters…like they literally had his adoptive-son-new-God show up, but I can’t even get a name drop??? Please 😭 Dean’s reappearance healed my finale-related trauma though, so I can’t complain much.

What’s a hidden talent of yours?

It’s not necessarily a talent because I had to force myself through years of toil and practice to gain my skills, but I’m actually surprisingly good at softball..? Like considering my personality and disdain for physical activities, you just wouldn’t consider me to be a sports person. Which I’m not really. But even more than that, I’m not a quitter! So after my parents sank some money into equipment and made a few comments about the lessons sports would teach me, I proceeded to grit my teeth and grind through twelve years of travel tournaments and conditioning. And my hs team won states and got runner up twice, so I think I did alright. Glad it’s over now though, I was not built for that stuff.

Are you religious?

Alright now…don’t judge me too bad for this y’all…I’m a pretty devout Christian. You probably wouldn’t think that from my posts, but this is really the only place I let myself act like a normal 20-something person and let loose a little. Irl I don’t go out much, am pretty reserved, attend church every week, have only verbally cursed once in my whole life on accident, and have never had an alcoholic drink. I even teach my church’s elementary Sunday school class. But I absolutely do NOT agree with the alt-right kind of Christianity, and I’m doing my best to teach my kids to be loving and accepting people that we can all be proud of instead of bigoted and small-minded. Please know that I won’t ever ever try to push my religion on any of y’all, especially since so many have been hurt by those that weaponize it. I am so, so sorry they made you feel that way and it sickens me. As naive and lukewarm as this sounds, I really do just want everyone to be happy and feel loved :(

I do remember that it was something a lot closer to how Scriabin felt about that thing and he was describing how he felt, not just Edgar, but he realized too late

Got the urge to draw dragons again, Scriabin needs to settle and Edgar is in protecc mode. His hugs are even harder to escape than normal!

The original sketch for sleepy Edgar - I couldn’t decide whether to use “World’s #1 Dad” or “World’s Best Dad”, so I just used both for the final version lol. Did Todd give it to him? Did Scriabin? Did they both get him nearly-matching mugs??

One of the early drafts for the ‘17 redraw; this was actually all drawn on one layer (on purpose! lol), which was a really fun experiment with some brushes I rarely use. I liked the angle of Edgar’s face too, he looks so smug haha ♪

More hair differences, using opposing methods of line directionality while shading and texturing Scriabin’s hair. Pushing up from under gives this really nice line weight; it’s harder to do consistently because I keep wanting to sweep down, but when it works, the shadows fall exactly where they should and it’s lovely ✨ And like I said, pulling down is a lot easier, and because of that I can get these really uniform lines - I prefer the tapered effect, but pulling definitely has its uses and-
