…RIDE A COWGIRL!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
a/n: okayyyy part 2 to save a horse! this one’s a tidbit longer just cause i uhhh may have gotten carried away. there’s also two smut parts in this sooooo enjooooy all that content.
part 1 | part 3
pairing: cowgirl!madison beer x reader
smut warnings: oral (r!receiving), strap riding, praise kink, masturbation.
warnings: parental arguments, criminal activity (super small), mentions of suicide attempt (non-main character), alcoholic drinks.
summary: you find yourself integrating slowly into farm life. yes, it’s a struggle. but madison makes it all worth it.
•*¨*•.¸¸♪
the farm has not been easy on you.
your first nail chipped last week and the rest simply followed suit. that wasn’t even your biggest issue. you’ve fallen on your ass so many times that someone could make bank if they had a dollar for each time it happened.
you even got shoved off a stool by stanley. you weren’t getting any better with him but you were definitely trying. cleaning his stable and brushing him when you could.
however, you could admit that things would be a lot worse if there wasn’t a beautiful brunette sporting her cowgirl hat to pick you right back up.
you never thought you’d be getting along with a straight-up country girl. all your friends were the same, raised in the city and went to the ever so posh local private school. perhaps, that’s where you went wrong in the first place.
“hey snappy!” madison approached you while you were deep in thought on your grandparents’ front porch— when did she mount a horse?
madison sat atop a gray mustang— who you’ve come to know as ‘travis’— you need to start telling your grandfather to choose better names. she held onto the reigns while the horse trotted closer to the porch, stopping before the stairs.
“come for a ride.”
who were you to say no to that smile?
you carefully approached, not wanting a repeat of stanley. you were still fairly cautious around the animals, they haven’t been very kind to you either. stomping whenever you did something wrong or making you chase them around. travis was a bit more approachable, probably cause madison was there. you stopped in your tracks.
“i don’t know how to get up there.” you sighed, dejected.
“okay.” madison smirked at you, dismounting the horse. she pointed to the saddle’s stirup. “put your foot in there then…” she pointed to the saddle’s horn, “put your hand there to help hoist yourself up.”
you put your foot in the stirup just as she said, grabbing the horn and slowly pulling yourself up. you felt the saddle move, freaking yourself out a bit and losing your footing. you felt a pair of hands grip both sides of your waist— it took you a second to process that madison was touching the skin that was showing from under your tied up flannel.
“c’mon, i’ve got you.” the sight was enough to make you weak to your knees, but those words— oh, those words had you. she pushed upwards, her hands reaching as far as your ribcage, to help you mount the saddle. her fingers, they were so calloused from working on the farm, yet they were so gentle and warm.
go up further, you thought.
“swing your leg over.” she ordered— and you didn’t even hesitate.
you swung your leg over, slowly adjusting yourself on the saddle. you had to catch your breath just then, you wanted her to touch you more.
“good girl!” she said as you got yourself up.
wait— fuck. good girl?!
“can you take your foot out of the stirup so i can get on?” she asked, looking up at you. you nodded and shook your foot a bit to get it off.
she followed suit, taking her place in front of you. “you’d better hold on.” she said, lifting her elbows for you to wrap your arms around her. you hesitantly put your hands on her shirt and bunched the fabric into little balls in your fist. she simply chuckled, holding the reigns and clicking her tongue twice, using the stirup to nudge travis and snapping the reigns softly.
you kept your hands tight around her white shirt. you were nervous, you’d never been on horseback before. the ride was slow, yes, but you had the feeling you could fall at any second.
“i’m surprised you’ve never ridden a horse before.” madison commented, “you never tried as a kid when you lived here?”
“i was too little.” you shrugged, gritting your teeth, you were holding something back. “i would’ve flown off.”
“you can still fly off when you’re grown.” madison pointed out.
“yeah, i know.” you said back.
“watch.”
“wait— what?!”
madison clicked her tongue again, snapping the reigns a bit more forceful this time and moving the stirups against travis.
travis nickered and started running. fast.
“MADISON!” you yelled, being pushed forward by the sudden force. you wrapped your arms around her waist tightly, your cheek against her back. you geniunely felt like you were about to get flung off.
you heard the cowgirl laugh, she was slightly hunched over to keep herself from getting flung backwards. you found her laugh to be endearing on most days, but not right now when she scared the living daylight out of you. how could she be so okay with this? how was she not terrified too?
she directed travis to take you both to the edge of the farm that overlooked a cliff. the scenery was beautiful. rows and rows of trees with a little pond of water in the middle of it. she dismounted first, then offered a hand to you. which, out of spite, you didn’t want to take at first but then realised how high up you were. you grabbed her hand and slowly lowered yourself off the saddle. you then stood beside her as she smacked travis’ behind, causing him to run off towards the farm.
“wait! what was that for? don’t we need him?!” you protested.
“i thought we could walk back, i scared you enough already today. and he’ll find his way back.” madison shrugged. you rolled your eyes at her.
“how considerate of you.” you said, your tone no short of sarcasm.
she waved to travis then turned to you.
“we talk a lot of work. i wanted to actually have a proper conversation with you.” she said, walking towards the cliff’s edge, a beckoning hand asking you to follow. the sun was about to set, and the sky was a color too beautiful to ignore.
“we have proper conversations…” you grumbled a little bit. you were partially terrified to talk about yourself. you prided yourself on a guard you had set up all those years ago when you realised the world was a lot harsher than people make it out to be.
“yes, about how fat the pigs are getting.” she retaliated as she sat down on the edge of the cliff. you hesitated, stepping back a bit. she noticed you, eyes wide in worry.
“you’re scared of heights.” she said, a massive smile growing on her face that you wanted to kiss off— no! punch off.
“i’m not!” you lied through your teeth, stepping forward but then stepping back again when you saw what was below you. hundreds of feet of air to fall through.
“i saw it. you were scared to mount travis earlier. and now, you won’t sit next to me.” she said, scooting over. “c’mon…” she opened her arms over the free spot next to her. “i’ve got you.”
she seems to “got you” a lot.
it was getting on your nerves a little bit how small you felt. you had walls in place to stop you from seeming so helpless, but madison seems to tear them down without even trying.
you inched closer, practically gripping the ground when lowering yourself into the spot next to her. she wrapped her arm around your waist, securing you into place. you tried to ignore the hot pink flush that covered your cheeks.
“why did you move to the city?” she asked you, looking over the horizon.
“my parents got new jobs. they went from working in town to big shot corporate jobs. i think my dad was kind of happy about it, honestly, he isn’t much of a farm guy either. my mom, she was upset though. but i have no idea. i was just a kid when we left.” you said, starting to ramble. you don’t ramble.
“i see.” she nodded.
“have you always lived here, madison?” you asked, you figured it was only fair that she had to answer questions too.
“well, i live in the next town over. it’s about 20 minutes that way.” she pointed in the general direction of her town. “but no. my dad’s in the army so we moved around a lot before finally settling down. but i’ve always lived on farmland.”
“moving around a lot couldn’t have been easy.”
“it wasn’t. but we made do.” she shrugged her shoulders. “and it’s not like i could do anything about it.”
you went quiet again, your eyes unwavering from the sunset in front of you. when it got dark, you broke the silence.
“how did you come to work for my grandparents if you live in the next town over? surely they have farmhands here.” you teased a bit.
“ouch. you sayin’ you’d rather have someone else?” she held a hand to her heart.
“well…” you teased again. “no. but i’m just curious.”
she sighed and stood up, it seems like you’ve hit a nerve. you didn’t mean to. “let’s walk and talk.” she held a hand out for you to take. with her help, you lifted yourself up and she led you away from the cliff.
she tucked her hands into her pocket and started making her way down the trail. “right. so… three years ago, my father was discharged from the army. unfortunately, he didn’t get any help from the trauma that he faced— i’ve noticed it happens to veterans a lot. at one point, he took off in the night and we had no idea where he went. turns out, he crashed his car into your grandparents’ farm.” she shifted a bit, showing slight discomfort.
“oh…” you whispered. “i’m sorry, i didn’t mean to pry.”
“no, it’s okay. you would have found out from a google search, honey.” you found it irritating how she still managed to make your stomach jump despite the conversation. “they pulled him out of the wreckage and called the ambulance. they stayed with him and kept him alive until they got there. i’ve been indebted to them ever since. they kept refusing my help but—“
“but you can be persistent.” you chimed in, jabbing at her a little bit to lighten the mood. she seemed to take it well.
“yes… actually. i can be persistent.” madison nodded, laughing softly. “so… i know it’s probably a sensitive topic but i’m curious too… why did your parents send you all the way out here?”
you stopped in your tracks for a second. you knew the question would come up, you were just wondering if you would tell her or not. she noticed your sudden freeze.
“you don’t have to—“
“shoplifting.” you cut her off. “i was shoplifting.” you admitted. “they said i’d lost touch with reality too much so they sent me here… which is ironic because the farm is as far away from reality as possible. but i guess they meant that i needed a humbling experience— well, it’s been humbling.” you chuckled dryly.
“you’ve been doing well.” she smiled and put a hand on your shoulder. “and we’re glad to have you here, if anything.”
“thank you, madison.” you just nodded at her and kept walking.
you two started to approach your grandparents’ house again. you walked towards the door but noticed madison stayed back.
“are you not coming in?” you asked.
“nah, i gotta get back for dinner.” she waved her hand in dismissal.
“you’ll be safe?” you asked, unsure where the sudden concern came from.
“i will be.” she tipped her hat at you. you hated when she did that, and that hatred reflected right at your core… your very warm core. she started to walk away but sharply turned back to you.
“oh! my friends and i are going to the rodeo tomorrow. and then we’ll go to the bar next to it. you should come and join us.” she said.
you had been so busy with the farm that you forgot to have a social life. you didn’t have any friends here except madison. you thought it would be a good idea.
“i’d love to.” you nodded, holding the door open for yourself.
“okay, pick you up at 6 tomorrow.”
“i’ll be waiting.” you chuckled, waving her goodbye.
you walked into your grandparents’ house and peeked through the curtains, making sure madison made it out of the driveway safe enough.
you made your way up to your bedroom to wait for dinner to be ready. you closed your eyes for a second, thinking about madison and her family. you wondered how someone could go through that and be as strong as her— it was admirable. you admired her.
as those thoughts ran through your head, you cut yourself off— what were you going to wear to a rodeo?!
•*¨*•.¸¸♪
madison was at yours at 6pm on the dot the next day. she was excited to take you to your first rodeo, and she was excited to have a new friend. her small town friends were close to her heart but it was nice to have someone that bantered with her as well as you did.
she knocked thrice on your front door and your grandmother answered.
“oh hello there, sweetie. she’ll be down shortly.” your grandmother giggled a little bit, why was she giggling? “come in, come in.”
madison followed after her and took her hat off, holding it close to her chest.
“i’m glad you’re taking her out for once. she’s gonna need some people around her to make it through this.” your grandmother said.
madison smiled warmly at her then heard your footsteps descend from the staircase. her jaw dropped the second she saw you. she knew you were beautiful but seeing you like this— this got her good.
you were in a white floral backless dress, very southern bell of you. you wore new brown boots that matched the dress and your hair was done up with curls.
“oh… you look…” she started.
“different?” you asked, teasing her.
“no… well, yes. but in a good way— the best way.” she smiled at you, taking you in.
“thank you.” you said, approaching her. you two were almost chest to chest then you put your hand on her hat. “get that thing on and let’s get outta here.” you said.
she nodded and put her hat back on her head. opening the door for you, she put her hand on your back to lead you out the door.
“m’lady.”
•*¨*•.¸¸♪
the rodeo was something you never thought to attend. it was rowdy and loud and you felt completely out of place. there was alcohol going everywhere and people screaming directly in your ear. you were happy to meet madison’s friends though; triplets named matt, chris, and nick that distinguished themselves by their different colored wardrobes.
you kept your eyes on the event in front of you. this distressed guy getting flung around by an equally distressed bull. he had one arm on the saddle while his other hand was waving his hat in the air. men were waving their fist at him, telling him to hold on.
you found yourself laughing softly when he was flung off into the wall.
“it’s too bad. he lasted a fair bit.” you turned to madison, who was holding a beer in her hand.
“he did. but that bull is relentless.” she said, standing up with the masses as the event came to an end. she offered you a hand.
“that was… definitely something!” you said, taking her hand and standing along with her. “i’d love to come and see it again.”
“really? after all that flinching you did when someone would scream?” she jabbed at you.
“shut it. i had fun watching some poor dude get thrown off a bull.” you laughed.
the crowd started funnelling into the bar next to the showgrounds. it was a massive two-story bar filled with people. the second floor was pretty much one big balcony that overlooked the first floor, which contained a bar and dance floor with a stage & dj booth on the far end.
“care for a drink?” madison asked you, your hands still interlocked. you nodded at her with a smile, “you seem like a non-beer person. a cocktail maybe? for my pretty little southern bell?” she asked, a teasing tone before starting to walk off.
“shut up! i can handle beer!” you protested but then went after her a bit. “wait! you’re right though! no beer!” you called after. you walked off with the triplets to find a table by the dance floor.
you patiently waited for madison to get back, you spotted her making her way across the dance floor with a coke in one hand and a cocktail in the other. she spotted you as well and put your drink on the table in front of you.
“vodka raspberry for the princess.” she said, smirking at you while she took a sip of her beer.
“thanks…” you said, picking it up and examining it. sure, you were surrounded by alcohol all the time. your friends back in the city loved going out and your parents kept a liquor cabinet. however, you weren’t incredibly big on it. you took a sip and raised your eyebrows.
“okay, not bad.” you said, approvingly. “definitely a bit sweet.”
“well, this just means we’ll have to find your poison.” she put her drink down on the table. “you’ll come out more with us then.”
a smile grew on your face when the triplets nodded, all three of them sporting different drinks. your heart felt warm that they all wanted to see you again. you were doubtful that you would all get along at first, being from different upbringings. but you realised that the upbringing didn’t matter, they had a kindness towards you that not even the city itself had.
“what did you get?” you asked her.
“just a coke, i wanna drive you home safe.” she smiled and took gradual sips.
“looks like you’ll have to teach me to drive your truck one of these days then.” you joked with her but madison loved the imagery of you driving her truck.
music started blaring across the shitty speakers that hovered over the dance floor. you recognized the song from ‘footloose’. you heard cheers and suddenly heard stomping from upstairs, everyone was starting to crowd the dance floor. the triplets & madison excitedly got on their feet, madison holding a hand out to you.
“c’mon, ‘bout time you learned a line dance!” she said, you shook your head quickly.
“hell no, i can’t dance to save my live.” you pulled back.
“you’ll do great!”
“no, madison. trust me. you don’t want me on that dance floor with you. i’ll step on your toes.” you stared at her with wide eyes.
“mads! c’mon!” nick called after her with a beckoning hand as the chorus approached.
“okay! okay!” she called after him. she turned back to you. “fine, but you can at least watch.” she raised her brows at you and you nodded. she ran to take her place beside nick and several whoops were heard as the chorus hit.
‘hey mister won't you sell me a fake I.D’
you watched as madison followed the line dance. her footwork was impressive but you had no doubt that it would be. her hips were moving along to the music.
‘there’s a band in the bar that i’m dying to see’
her boots would hit the ground with a ‘clack” when she would do the hops required for the routine. you couldn’t take your eyes off her body. she moved with such a natural flow that you would have thought she was making it all up on the spot. she laughed as the dance went further along, clearly enjoying herself. you wish you had her confidence.
‘i got my money and you got what i need’
oh god. her hips bouncing to the music. the part of the song that required everyone to swing their asses out nearly killed you when she did it. your eyes trailed down her body. the skin of her stomach was starting to show as she moved rigorously. she was toned. toned to all hell. and her legs looked incredibly strong, like they’d be able to take any kind of work. she suddenly caught your eye, licking her upper lip and winking when she got the chance to face you as her ass swung out. your breath hitched, your eyes studying her.
‘hey mister won't you sell me a fake I.D’
the crowd of dancers did their full rotation, ending the routine with four claps. they started breaking off into their own improvisations when the music would keep going. you watched madison jump around, laughing with the brothers and putting her arms around them. the brothers started to deviate, dancing with the rest of the crowd. another girl pulled madison to the side and started dancing with her. they kept their distance for quite a but until madison pulled her in by her waist.
it was no secret that madison could sense the tension between the two of you. she’s caught you staring so many times. but she wasn’t one to just give in easy, she wanted to see what it would be like if your confidence suddenly skyrocketed. she started dancing with this girl during the tail end of the song, she was just having fun at first then she had an idea. she started pulling her closer until they were chest to chest.
a fire burned in your belly… was it jealousy? it couldn’t be. nope— it definitely was. seeing madison dance with that girl, you wish it was you. your instincts were telling you to step in and take your damn chance, but your feet wouldn’t move.
go, go, go.
and before you knew it, you downed your drink in one. standing up quickly, you swallowed your damn pride and practically stomped over to where madison and the girl were. you didn’t know how to interject, she wasn’t even looking at you.
you suddenly cleared your throat, gripping onto madison’s shoulder and spinning her around. she smiled when she saw you behind her.
“hey princess.” she grinned, standing still. the girl waiting to have the attention back on her.
you didn’t give her any time to speak before your arms were around her neck. you’d gone clubbing before, you knew how to keep a beat. the problem was that this wasn’t the club, and this wasn’t a club beat. but you were going to try.
you dipped your hips to the music, swaying side to side. madison caught the hint, her hands flying straight to your hips and her face lowering itself into her neck. she kept her hand on her hat to keep it steady. your hips swayed in unison, fitting together like a puzzle piece.
she knew her plan had worked when you pulled away and started to sway your shoulders too, pulling her closer to you while you stepped to the beat of the song. she was excited to see you building the confidence to put yourself out there.
“i thought you’d never come.” she had a shit-eating grin on her face.
“well, i couldn’t deny you a dance.” you said, putting your hands on her shoulders, still hopping to the beat a little. “you looked like you needed a partner that could keep a beat.” you said, sneering a bit at the girl.
she chuckled at your jealousy. “that i did, darlin’, that i did.” her hands back around your waist, pulling you closer and suddenly dipping you as the song stopped abruptly. “you did good.” she said, lifting you back up.
before you know it, she was taking the hat off her head and placing it on yours. “look at you, baby. you fit right in.”
you stared up at her with a rosy pink blush on your cheeks, a shy smile growing on your face. you… you were wearing madison’s hat. not that other girl. you were glad your efforts were successful. she had chosen you.
you failed to notice the triplets snickering in the background. they were fully aware of the superstition of a cowgirl putting her hat on someone else’s head. madison was aware of it too, but she wasn’t going to give you that satisfaction just yet.
•*¨*•.¸¸♪
after a couple more drinks, you were all ready to hit the hay. you bid your goodbye to the triplets and madison opened the passenger side door for you.
you settled into shotgun and buckled your seatbelt, waiting for her to get into the driver’s seat. you caught a glimpse of yourself in the side mirror. you were still absolutely, undeniably still wearing her hat and you revelled in the sight. you smiled to yourself as she hopped in.
“what’s on your mind, doll?” she asked, putting the keys in the ignition and starting the engine. you remained silent as she let the car warm up.
“nothing major.” you said, looking over at her. “just… never thought i’d enjoy myself this much at a place like this.”
“you mean a rowdy small town country bar? that’s fair enough. i didn’t think i would at first either.” she chuckled and started driving off. “i’m sure the city has it’s fair share of fun but nothing beats the solidarity you get from a place like this.”
“yeah… i suppose you’re right. we all kind of get to the club and branch out back home. it was nice to see everyone dance together.” you toyed with your hands. “i’ll have to get a hat.”
madison grinned at your statement. “or you can just keep wearing mine.” she would be lying if she said she didn’t enjoy the sight of you in her hat. her hat.
“right. it looks better on me anyways.” you joked, running your pointer finger and thumb along the brim. madison glanced over at you, letting her gaze linger.
“it looks better on you. but it also looks right.” she said. you didn’t exactly register what she meant by that, you just met her eyes but then let out a sly smile. using your pointer finger to push her jaw.
“eyes on the road, cowgirl.” you scolded her. she just laughed and turned to look at the road again.
as you pulled into your grandparents’ driveway, you leaned back in the passenger seat.
“thank you for tonight.” you hesitantly took the hat off your head and placed it back on madison’s. while you leaned over, you gave her a kiss on the cheek. “we’ll have to do that again.”
“we will, sweetheart.” she nodded in agreement. she couldn’t hide the smile forming or the red tint that started to cover her cheeks.
“and you promised to let me drive your truck next time so…” you said as you slowly opened the passenger door.
“hey! i didn’t promise anything.” she called after you as you hopped out.
you slowly started to close the door but your gut started to speak to you. you didn’t want the night to end— and it shouldn’t.
you poked your head back into the car. “madison.” you called her name to get her attention.
“mm?” she asked, leaning over to look at you better.
“wanna go for a ride?”
it was madison and her shit-eating grin against the world.
•*¨*•.¸¸♪
madison drove you two to the barn. when she pulled travis out of his stable, you couldn’t help but find it adorable how the horse had so much of a liking for her, practically leaping in excitement.
when she placed his saddle on him, you noticed how strong she actually was. had that strength developed overtime? would you ever become that strong? you asked yourself these questions, never taking your eyes off her.
“c’mon then.” she said, making space for you to hop on.
you walked over to travis, placing your foot into the stirup just as madison taught you. she held your waist as you hoisted yourself up. you noticed how warm her hands were against your revealed skin, you found it comforting as the breeze hit. she hoisted herself up after you, but she sat behind you instead. her full body warmth made you settle in even further.
“not in front?” you asked, turning your head slightly to see her.
“nope, you’re leading on this one.” she shook her head.
“but… i don’t even know how to make him go.” you said, hesitantly holding onto the reigns.
“you snap the reigns just softly or else he’ll start running. and you nudge him a little with your foot. i usually click my tongue but that should be enough to get him going.” she said.
you followed her instructions, snapping the reigns. however, you think you overdid it as travis started to run instead.
“fuck!” you exclaimed, trying to get a better grip on the saddle as madison leaned over, holding your hands on the reigns. her hands covered yours as you felt her weight on your back. it was nice, comforting, your worry practically disappeared when she did that.
“that’s okay, you got him to go.” she whispered into your ear, slightly tugging on the reigns to slow him down. her voice sent shivers down your spine, the cold air made it worse.
you carefully led travis for just a few minutes around the farmland, stopping at the fenced off area and turning back around.
madison’s hands never left yours while you completed the ride. her warmth never left your back either, keeping you safe from the cold. she even moved your hair to the side so she could rest her chin on your shoulder, she chalked it up to being watchful as it was dark and you two might run into something.
she was totally lying.
as you both arrived back to the barn, she dismounted before you. you shifted your body and took your foot out of the stirup and hopped down, using madison’s shoulders for support.
the tension was incredibly hard to ignore at this point. you felt like you could cut it with only a butter knife. you felt your stomach do backflips whenever she’d say something to you. you were going soft for her— and not only that, you were weak for her. you had to do something or else you’d be left wondering forever.
“madison.” you said, calling after her.
“that’s me.” she snickered, looking over at you.
you were walking over to where she was standing, just outside travis’ stable. you stood nearly chest to chest with her.
“before we left, matt told me about the supertition about a cowboy— or cowgirl putting their hat on a woman’s head.” you cheekily smiled at her, teeth showing. she froze up, eyes widening. “and not only that but they told me what happens when a woman does the opposite.” you said, reaching up towards her hat and taking it off, putting it on your head.
she stared at you for a second, eyeing you up and down. she licked her lips slowly. the sight of you in that dress, wearing her hat. she hoped you wouldn’t find out about that but she should’ve known better since the triplets were around. it was all too much for her head to bear, she thought she was going to explode. you fit right into her entire livelihood, it turned her right on.
she stepped forward, her mind losing full control of her body. she captured your lips in a head-reeling kiss, nearly knocking her hat off your head. you wrapped your arms around her shoulders, butterflies immediately forming in your stomach as heat rushed to your core. she wrapped her arms around your waist, quickly pulling you in closer. her tongue swiped your bottom lip, you found yourself letting go, opening your mouth ever so slightly.
she slipped her tongue in your mouth, finding herself exploring it. you let out a soft whimper at the feeling. you started to feel yourself get pushed back gently, until your back hit a barrel of hay. she lifted you up on top of it, you slightly matched her height now. the hay was a tad bit scratchy but that was on you for making your move in a barn. she pulled away, you whined softly at the loss of her touch.
“the things you and your pretty little dress do to me, baby.” she said, reaching behind you to undo the bow that kept your dress up behind your neck. the top half of your dress fell down, revealing your chest. madison smirked. “and not even a bra? jesus, darlin’, what are you tryna do?” she asked, yanking you closer to her so she was directly in between your legs. she took one of your breasts into her mouth while the other hands started to ride up your thighs.
you let out a soft gasp at the sudden contact. she was sucking on your tit like she was a woman starved. your hand resting behind madison’s head started to grip onto her hair when she bit down on your nipple, coaxing a moan out of you. she was only working at your top half but you already started to see stars. she moved onto your other breast, stopping right before the nipple and started sucking on the soft skin around it.
she was marking you. marking her territory. you knew farmers were protective of their land, madison was just as protective over you. she wanted to stake her claim on you— her pretty little wild city girl that she wanted to tame.
while her mouth worked your top half, her hands were multitasking on your bottom half. they moved further up your thighs and her thumbs tucked themselves onto the loops of your underwear. she made contact with your other nipple as she pulled them down slowly, you pulled her head closer, wanting more. she felt some resistance from your panties and realised that when she took them off, the crotch part was dripping— it had stuck to you before she pulled them off.
“christ, baby. you’re already so wet. do i turn you on?” she smirked at you, holding your panties between her fingers and holding them up. you blushed and looked away from them, trying not to look so ashamed.
“baby.” she said, more firm this time. you hadn’t heard that tone from her before. her strict persona made you even wetter, you loved that she took control. “answer me.” she ordered.
“you turn me on.” you whispered, still not looking at her. she chucked your panties over somewhere, you were sure they landed on the work bench. she leaned closer again, placing soft kisses on your cheek as she pushed you onto your back. you saw her take off her flannel, leaving her in a gray tank top, she rolled her flannel up and put it under your head as a pillow. you made sure to keep her hat on while she did that.
she hiked your dress up, bunching it around your waist to reveal your bottom half. you watched her as she unbuckled her pants, lowering them ever so slightly and you caught sight of her underwear. she raised her tank top a bit, revealing her abdomen. you saw her put a hand down her pants as she kneeled down on the ground in front of the hay barrel.
she positioned your legs to have one be over her shoulders and the other was pushed back a bit more, spreading you open for her. she peppered kisses on your thighs, you felt yourself practically almost finish from just seeing her head between your thighs. your arousal was hard to miss, more wetness rushing down, practically dripping onto the hay.
she paused for a moment before licking a stripe up your core, you gasped and gripped onto her hair. your legs shook already with the contact.
“fuck! madison!” you exclaimed out of shock.
“my name sounds good on your lips, baby.” you felt that god forsaken grin form on her lips, you didn’t even have to see it.
without warning, her lips latched around your clit, her tongue circling it. your eyes squeezed shut, your heel digging into her back, emitting a groan from her that sent vibrations through your core. you watched as her arm started moving while she ate you out. she was touching herself to your noises, her fingers circling her own clit. she was so turned on by you that she couldn’t help herself.
you moaned loudly, finding it hard to hold back. she sucked harder on your clit, one of her fingers finding its way to your hole, simply teasing it.
“oh my god, don’t stop!” you said, gripping your own breast for support. your hips were rutting against her mouth, trying to push yourself closer to release. she stuck her tongue out and stopped its movements, letting you practically get yourself off on her mouth. she eventually shook her head, her tongue flicking your clit multiple times.
“doin’ so good, baby. riding my face. you just can’t help yourself, can you?” she quickly went back to latching her lips around your clit, her finger finding its way into your hole properly. she inserted her fingers into herself as well, wanting to be as one with you as possible, wanting to feel the same things you were feeling.
“fuck’s sake, mads!” you said as she pumped her finger in and out of you, mouth still working wonders. the nickname spurred her on, starting to bite down on your clit just a bit. “just like that! oh my god! just like that!” she curled her fingers inside of you, making your back arch as she hit that most sensitive spot of your body. she started letting out soft moans from her own self-pleasure, sending more shivers up your entire body.
you felt that knot build in your stomach, your legs started to shake as your grip on her hair got stronger. she knew you were close to finishing, and who was she to stop you?
“cum f’me, baby. you can do it.” she mumbled, loud enough for you to hear. “cum on my mouth.”
“mads! i’m cumming!” you said, releasing straight into her mouth. you heard her grunt softly, her movements stalling for only a split second as she lapped at your release like it was her last meal ever, holding your shaking legs in place as she did. you were so sensitive and this wasn’t making it any easier. “mmph, mads… sensitive.” you said but she didn’t pull away, she wanted every last drop of you.
you let out a relieved sigh as she pulled away. the arch of your back lowered as you were panting, still laying on this damned hay barrel. she stood up, taking in the sight of you. sprawled out in front of her with your tits out and legs still slightly open.
“my pretty girl… someone ‘oughta teach you that if you rile up a cowgirl, you’re gonna get your money’s worth.” she said, licking her fingers clean and wiping her glossy lips with the back of her hand.
you let out a breathless chuckle.
“oh… i think i learned that.” you laughed, sitting up from your position. while you did, you caught a wet spot on madison’s jeans, laughing to yourself.
“someone enjoyed herself too.” you said, trailing your finger down her abdomen and down to the wet spot. you felt her inhale sharply when you did.
“hmm… well, i had to take advantage of the sight in front of me. makes for wonderful jerk-off material.” she teased.
you shoved her backwards lightly, laughing at her joke. she leaned down to kiss you after stabilising herself. you tasted yourself on her.
you wanted more of her, you wanted all of her. all of her in her southern glory. and she wanted you just as bad.
“well then, pretty girl.” she said, tipping her hat down onto your face, covering your eyes. you whined and raised it back up. “if you do all your chorin’ well tomorrow, you might just get a prize.”
•*¨*•.¸¸♪
the next day, it was straight back to work for the two of you. you spent half the day shovelling dirt with a 6am start, then you and madison decided to start helping your grandfather out with fencing. he warned you to be careful as the fencing was delicate and could snap, it’s caused serious injury in the past. he tasked you and madison to work closely together to avoid that— not that you were complaining. you got your fair bit of teasing in.
when your grandfather wasn’t looking, you would turn around and run a hand down madison’s toned body. it caused her to shudder a few times. you even sneaked in a little neck kiss, causing her to turn you around and force you back to working.
it made your head reel whenever she would take control of you, finding it harder and harder to resist her.
you complained and complained. you talked about how hot it was, how dirty it was getting. you could feel madison shoot you a dirty look but you couldn’t help but make several comments about the state of the farm. you knew you were in for it when madison pulled you into a forceful kiss, shoving you backwards to shut you up. you never said a word after that.
after a long day, you both were covered in dirt. your grandfather said he could drive you back but madison cut him off, making a fake excuse how you wanted to see the animals. you had no idea what she was up to.
when you both arrived at the barn, you waltzed right in, walking over to travis and petting his head while only giving stanley a short wave. you walked over to the sheep, peeking into their pen.
“their coats are getting larger, pop says it’ll be time to sheer them soon. i wanna see what they look like without all their hair.” you said, distracted while madison was checking on stanley.
“they look like freshly peeled potatoes.” she chuckled. “you’ll be the one sheering them, y’know?” she patted stanley’s back. “your grandfather told me yesterday how he can’t wait to teach you.”
“i find myself learning a lot nowadays…” you sighed a bit. “doesn’t seem like there’s any time for a break.”
“no… the farm is harsh.” she shook her head, walking back over to you. “it’s always needing something. but that’s nature. nature needs humans just as much as humans need nature.” she said, reaching down to hold your hands and pulling you to where the workbench was.
“wow… who knew you were such a poet, mads?” you giggled at her, following where she led you.
“you seem to inspire me, baby.” she moved to sit down on the bench, pulling you closer. she kissed down your chest as she lowered herself down. she undid the flannel that you had tied up to keep it from flying everywhere while you guys worked.
“mads… what’re you doing?” you whined, running your hands through the hair that was hanging out of her hat.
“remember when i said you’d get a reward for working hard today?” she asked, untucking your top from the denim shorts you were wearing. “i intend to keep my word.” she mumbled while kissing your stomach.
“oh? is this your idea of a reward?” you asked, heat rushing straight down to your core when she left kisses on you.
“mmhm… you were being a brat today, you should be thankful i’m still giving it to you.” she said, muffled. she pulled away suddenly and you watched her with curious eyes.
“do you know that saying about saving a horse?” she asked, unbucking her belt and unbuttoning her own jeans. she raised her eyebrows at you as she lowered them down, revealing a purple and pink strap on. your eyes widened at the sight of her leaning back, her strap on full display for you. “ride a cowboy— cowgirl, in our case.” she said, a smirk on her face.
“mads… i don’t think i can take it all.” you said, playing with your hands.
“you can, darlin’. i know you can. but you’ll have to get it lubed up first.” she eyed you up and down, her pointer finger pointing to the ground. “get on your knees and suck my cock, baby.” she said, a hint of dominance in her eyes. you loved how comfortable she was with ordering you around. it made you feel less weak, less like you were fragile.
you obeyed, getting on your knees and looking up at madison through your lashes. she bit her lip looking at you, feeling her own arousal as she saw you on the ground. you took her cock in your mouth and started bobbing your head, your hands wrapping around the base. she groaned softly, the sight of you had her wishing that it was her actual cock. she loved seeing you submissive for her after you were being a brat today.
she leaned her head backwards, her eyes rolling into the back of her head. she looked back up and made direct eye contact with you.
“fuck… darlin’, you look so fucking good on your knees for me, using that pretty little mouth of yours.” she said, leaning her head back again but not too far, making sure her hat stayed on. “that’s it baby, get it nice and wet for your pretty pussy.”
you loved the way she talked to you. the words were filthy but you couldn’t help but notice that she used ‘pretty’ to describe you. it made you feel good about yourself, like you were doing something right.
you felt her hips start to move slightly, thrusting upwards into your mouth. it hit the back of your throat and you gagged softly, pulling away and coughing.
“sorry baby, was that too much for you? i just couldn’t help myself. i wanted to be as far in you as possible.” she said, leaning forward to grab your arms and pull you up. she helped you take off your shorts and pulled the back of your thighs forward until you were kneeling on the bench, straddling her. “let me make it up to you.”
she put two fingers in between your thighs, the pad of her middle finger circling your clit. you felt youself get unstable for a second, the sudden contact making you already weak.
“does that feel good, baby?” she cooed at you, looking up at you with a grin on her face. you nodded in response. “yeah, i bet it does.” she said, a cocky tone in her voice. her fingers moved away from your clit, mocking up and down your slit. “so wet.”
“mads, please.” you whimpered, your hands holding onto her shoulders.
“okay, okay. you’re right. what princess wants, princess gets. and i have to stretch you out a bit anyway.” she said, slipping two fingers into you. you gasped softly. you felt madison press kisses into your chest, her other hand pulling your shirt down to release one of your breasts, taking it into her mouth. she only pumped her fingers in and out a few times before pulling them away.
she scooted around a bit until her strap was aligned with your hole. “ready, baby?” she asked, gently running her hands up and down your waist. you nodded, your bottom lip in between your teeth. “okay.” she muttered.
she pulled your hips down slowly, watching you swallow her cock whole. “fuck!” you cried out in pain at first, never having experienced anything as big as this. you just sat down on madison’s lap until you adjusted to her size, your face buried in her neck as you tried to catch your breath. when she felt you loosen up a bit, she lifted you slowly, pulling you straight back down. the cry of pain turned into a cry of pleasure.
she pulled away slowly, trying to see your face. “you can do it baby, ride my cock. ride my cock like a good girl.” she said. you sat straight back up and started to bounce on her cock, your hands still on her shoulders as your eyes fluttered shut.
“madison, it feels so fucking good.” you said, moans leaving your mouth every single time you sank back down, taking it whole. you started to arch your back into her, wanting more stimulation. she caught the memo placing both her hands on your back and pulling you down even harder. she started to kneed one of your breasts with her hand.
“look at you. riding me like a real cowgirl. you’re so fucking sexy.” she said, you could practically hear the grin on her face. “you’re not so tough now when my cock is in you, huh?” you shook your head, holding back a whimper as she took your nipple between her fingers, toying with it.
“want you to fuck me harder.” you muttered. “i want more of you.”
she started to buck her hips up, the noises of your skin smacking against each other filling the barn. she started to grunt softly as well, her head leaning down on your shoulder. with the remaining strength you had left, you picked up her hat off her head and placed it on yours.
she couldn’t help but pull away again, just to look at you wearing her hat, riding her cock. the state of you was enough to make her cum right on the spot.
“you look so good in my hat, doll.” she said, keeping her pace of bucking her hips. “lookin’ like a real cowgirl.”
you started to feel that tension build up in your belly again. you were starting to get close to sweet, sweet relief.
“mmph, getting close.” you said, beads of sweat starting to form on your forehead. your pace was starting to get sloppy, your thighs trembling with each descent onto madison’s cock.
“yeah?” she asked, one of her hands moving to rub your clit at a quick pace. “that’s it, cum for me baby. cum on my fucking cock. you know you want to.” she coaxed it out of you. “good girls cum.” she said.
with that, you completely came undone in front of her, that knot in your belly snapping as you came down hard. you leaned forward, face tucking into madison’s neck as the two of you panted, practically in sync. your eyes opened again after being squeezed shut. you saw stars as they opened back up, pulling away from madison’s neck to kiss her.
“we need to get you a hat of your own soon, sweetheart. you look too damn good in that.” madison chuckled through pants.
“i like wearing yours though.” you whispered, still trying to catch your breath.
“yeah? i like you wearing mine too.” she smiled at you, pushing the wet strands of hair that stuck to your neck back so she could place soft kisses down.
she slowly helped you stand back up, pulling her pants up and pushing the strap back into her underwear.
“that horse better be feeling really saved right now.” you giggled.
•*¨*•.¸¸♪
madison drove you back to your grandparents’ place. she walked you to the front door where your grandparents were sitting on the porch swing to your right.
you were still reeling from your earlier orgasm that you didn’t see them right away, stumbling as you made it to the last step.
“oh! careful darling! are you alright?” your grandma asked.
“yeah! just a bit sore from today.” you quickly defended yourself while madison stood behind you holding a laugh. she decided to chime in too.
“yeah! with those legs, she’ll be a cowgirl in no time!”

🏛️ Senator Shockwave X Cybertronian Female Assistant Reader (Part 1/3)
Notes: Why did I ever have to learn that Shockwave had a super tragic backstory? When I was younger he was my least favorite Decepticon since I just thought he was pure evil. Practically crying after seeing what happened to him in the comics. And his line "Remember me as I was-." Was an even harder blow. 😭
This will probably end up being super long. I had half of this planned and the other kind of thrown in randomly so not my best work but I'm proud of it nonetheless.
- I fear this might be a boring read, So I'd love some feedback after you finish reading this. -

        I was rushing to get to the senate building where I had a meeting this morning. I went to the front desk asking where I could find Shockwave. The person at the front desk gave me extremely vague directions. I just hoped I could find his office.
        Luckily for me, I found an office that looked at least a bit useful I could probably ask for better directions. I lightly knocked on the door to politely get their attention.
        He seemed lost in thought before looking up at the door where I stood.
        "Oh, welcome to the senate. How can I help you?"
        "I'm sorry to bother you, I was scheduled for an interview with Shockwave for the assistant position and seed to have gotten myself lost," I said shyly from the door. I was definitely lost.
        "I'm probably in the wrong place."
        He looks up from his desk. "Ah, yes. That was today. You're in the right place."
        He stood up, moving around the desk to greet me at the door. "Please, do come in. Take a seat."
        I tried my best to shake off my nerves and smiled. "Of course thank you."
        He gestured to the seat across his desk.
        "Please, make yourself comfortable." He returns to his seat. "May I have your name first and foremost?
        "(Y/N) sir. It's nice to finally meet you in person."
        "(Y/N), hm? Well, it's a pleasure to make your acquaintance. And you said you were here for the assistant position?"
        "Correct." I kept my hand neatly folded in my lap so I wouldn't nervously fidget.
        "Right."He leaned back in his chair, seemingly studying me before nodding.
        "Now, just so you are aware, as my assistant, you would essentially be my second pair of hands. You would need to be there at my beck and call for anything I may need." He explained. "You will also need to keep track of my calendar and make sure it's up-to-date and correct at all times. Can you do that?"
        "Yes sir."
        "Very good. I should also mention, that if you *do* get this position, it will be long hours. Long hours and more than a few late nights. Do you think you can handle that?"
        "Nothing I can't handle, I'm a night owl myself so some late hours aren't a problem for me."
        He seems pleased enough. "Excellent, as a follow-up question, are you at all familiar with my work or... philosophy?"
        "Of course, I've read some of your historical studies and other works related to your late mentor. I always found it quite interesting."
        "As you should!" He leaned forward on his desk, a slight smile on his face as he spoke, clearly pleased by my answer. "I find a surprising amount of people in this city don't see the true potential of the technology we develop. Not to mention our society itself. But I can sense you're a bit more aware than the average individual."
        "I graduated from the same academy you went to. I've seen some of your work firsthand. It was one of my old professors who told me you were looking for an assistant so I quickly applied to work with you."
        He chuckled heartily at this news. "Ah, is that so? Hah, they're still teaching my work? I'd almost be flattered if that old building hadn't fallen apart even more since my time there. But, I digress, it's an interesting coincidence, of our... similar histories. Although I can't say most of my old professors had anything positive to say about me, to my face or not."
        "Yeah he can be quite stern but he seems proud of your accomplishments. He almost made my spark give out when he sent me a message telling me about you. Not very often he reaches out."
        He laughed again. "That old coot? Hah! You know, I don't think he's changed a bolt since I first met him. Always so "passionate" about progress, about expanding our minds and inventing new technology and whatnot."
        He leaned back against his chair again, taking a moment to size you up as a person.
        "And he has a soft spot for you, does he?"
        "Apparently and completely unexpected. I graduated five years ago and this is the first time I remember speaking to him besides running into him a few times. I always thought he hated me or at least my class." I laughed at the thought.
        He chuckled as well, shaking his head. "Oh, he most "definitely" thought of your class as a bunch of dunder-headed fools and idiots. I couldn’t count on my servo how many classes of his I had to sit through as he bemoaned the incompetence of his students. But something about you… must've caught his optics."
        "I suppose, but you as well it seems. He talked pretty highly of you. But he also said at least one of his students had to do something with their lives."
        "Did he, now? Hah! I can hear it now…Well, at least at least ONE of my students will accomplish something*.”
        He imitated the professor, lowering his voice and making it harsher and gruff to replicate him. I couldn't help but laugh at his silly impression. Causing his smile to grow wider as he continues the imitation, laughing himself.
        “Shockwave! Yes, I remember him… He was the ONE I had hopes for. He had a good brain! But now he’s a politician, so I can see it’s all gone to his head!" He continued.
        "Sounds about right. If I closed my eyes I'd think I was back in the academy."
        He chuckled, resting his arms back on his desk and watching me intently. It seemed he enjoyed my presence.
        "He certainly did have a way with words, I'll give him that. As I said, very passionate. Very *very* passionate. Okay back on topic. So tell me, miss (Y/N), why do you want this job?"
        "I'm honestly interested in working with you. Your research is top notch and you're a politician I fully support."
        His smile widened. "Ah, a flattery, as well as a loyalist. You're a sharp one. And a quick learner, I imagine." He leaned back in his seat a bit. "Now, tell me this; if you don’t mind, what interests you about my work the most? I’m curious."
        "Your outlook on the future Is quite interesting and you seem to be one of the only researchers interested in our resources. You are aware that as our population grows we need more energon mainly. Too many people try to simply think in the present which won't help us in the long run." I accidentally ranted on.
        He nodded, pleased with my answer. "So you understood what he was trying to accomplish...Precisely. People in this city, especially those I work with up in the Senate, are more concerned with now, or themselves more than Cybertron as a whole. In this day and age, a city of this size requires a very specific amount of energon for it to thrive. And we’ve nearly used up our planet’s natural resources." He laced his fingers together. "Something must be done to maintain that balance."
        "And I know your research is to find a solution. I'd love to assist you in that endeavor."
        He smiled at this. "It’s been a while since someone was so enthusiastic, or willing, to assist in his cause, let alone someone with a similar mindset to my own. I like you. You’ve got ambition, you’re quick, and you seem to be capable of thinking for yourself. It’s very refreshing, I’ll say that much."
        "Thank you, sir."
        "Oh please, sir makes me feel old. Just call me Shockwave.  I have a question for you if you don’t mind."
        "Oh of course Shockwave."
        "Now, I have to ask. You’re not interested in getting into politics, are you?" He chuckled softly. "You’d either be a terrifying political opponent or an excellent addition, given what I’ve seen."
        "Oh me, I couldn't do politics. I'm a horrible public speaker. I stumble my words and get super anxious." I answered a bit too honestly.
        "A shy one? I never would’ve guessed." He seemed almost genuinely surprised. "You carry yourself well. You look like a confident person, you certainly sound it, although a bit reserved."
        "I do the best I can in professional settings."
        "Fair enough." He seemed to think for a moment, studying me, then smiled again. "Tell you what. How about I give you a week-long trial? See how you can handle yourself working alongside me, get a true taste of the position, hmm?"
        "That sounds perfect to me."
        He smiled, nodding in agreement, and stood up. "Excellent, be here at 9 am, next Monday, sharp. No being late, first impression, and all that. I’ll clear out some space at my desk for you, you’ll be working there for the majority of the time. I’m expecting good things from you, (Y/N)."
        "Thank you so much, you won't regret your decision." I shake his hand with a smile.
        "So I shouldn’t, (Y/N)" He grips my hand firmly in a handshake, his expression stern yet pleased, before it softens again as he releases you. You best be on your way now, you know the way out. Until next Monday, it’s been a pleasure, I’m looking forward to working with you."
        "Me as well. See you Monday." I stood up and gave him a curt nod with a smile before leaving.
        I was so giddy with excitement the second the door closed behind me I had to take a deep breath to calm myself.
        Can't wait to start.
---
[Time skip to Monday]
        I made sure to leave early so I wouldn't be late. I arrived at his facility half an hour early so I walked the halls a bit anxiously waiting for the proper time to enter his office. I think five minutes early would suffice. When I stepped into his office, he looked up from his work, smiling at me.
        "Ah, (Y/N) right on time. Good, you seem to be a punctual individual, good quality to have."
        "I do the best I can Shockwave."
        "That’s what I like to hear," He set down the datapad he was going over and got up from his chair, gesturing to the small, clearly recently made space on the other side of his desk. "Come, take a seat."
        "Thank you." I walked over to my new nicely organized work space.
        He stepped out of the way as you slid into the seat, standing next to you as he gestured to your area. "Ah, I had one of the staff set that up for you last Friday. I trust it’s to your liking. If not, feel free to request a change whenever you feel necessary."
        "No It'll work perfectly for me."
        He nodded, satisfied with my response, then pointed at the datapad he had put down earlier. "Speaking of which, your primary function here will be to assist me. You’ll be taking care of my calendar, and you’ll also be a sort of…second pair of hands. Whatever I may need you to do around the office, I expect you to do it well, with minimal error, and promptly. Is that understood?
        "Completely."
        He smiled, pleased, and sat back down in his chair. "Excellent, and remember, my work here is private, what you see or hear in this office stays in this office, understood?"
        "Of course, I figured as much with your position."
        His smile grew. "You learn quickly, good. That’s a very necessary quality to have, around here."
        He put a fresh datapad in front of me. "Now, first thing’s first. Open that, and familiarize yourself with my schedule for the day."
        "Understood," I said reading through the list. "Seems like an easy workload for today. Some paperwork to sort through, and meeting with one of your fellow senators later this evening. Which in the end would probably include more paperwork to fill out."
        Shockwave nodded, watching intently as I quickly read through his schedule. "Very good, correct on both counts. Very observant, I must say. Tell me, you read fast, don’t you?"
        "Yes sir, always have. I quite enjoy it as well."
        He smiled again, resting his chin against his fist as he studied me from behind his desk, amused by how enthusiastic I was. Eager to learn, eager to work. Exactly the kind of person he had been looking for I hoped.
        "Reading is a hobby of yours, then?"
        "Yep,"  I answered while looking at the data pad.
        He chuckled and leaned back in his Chair, "Any other hobbies you might have? You know I’m going to do a background check on you, I might as well have the whole list."
        "Reading, writing, and art are the main things I enjoy."
        He raised an eyebrow, intrigued by that. "Reading, writing, and art, hm…? You’re a creative type, then?"
        "Yes, and it comes in quite handy for work."
        He smiled again, leaning his chin against his palm. "Oh, I imagine it does. And these aren’t just things you do during your leisure time? You put them to good use, as well? I’m almost jealous, I have a one-track mind, it’s all about politics and work."
        "Well, we all work differently." Though it was a bit disheartening to hear. He must overwork himself.
        He chuckled bitterly like I read his mind, confirming my thoughts.
        "Indeed we all do. But unfortunately, politics isn’t kind to individuals with many, diverse, interests. My mind tends to hyper-fixate on the present, on work, and my research. Sometimes I wish it weren’t that way…" He paused, thinking for a moment.
        "Say, what time was my meeting later?" He changed the subject so quickly that it almost made my head spin.
        "Oh um, five this evening." I quickly answered looking back down at the datapad.
        "Tch, 5?"  He looked at the time, a bit bothered that the meeting was later than he thought. "That’s right, why am I only just now remembering this…?"
        He mumbled, clearly annoyed with his forgetfulness. Then, turning back to me, he looked contemplative for a moment and then got to his feet. "You’re joining me for the meeting."
        "To take notes I assume?" I was a bit nervous joining a meeting room full of senators.
        "Of course, that’s one of the main purposes of your being here, I’ll need you to take notes." He said with a nod, walking over to stand next to my chair, and leaning on my desk. It seemed he noticed my nervous expression and smiled. "But you don’t need to look so frightened, you won’t be the one in the hot seat."
        Well, that eased my worry for the most part. "Shouldn't be anything I can't handle."
        "Exactly."
        He chuckled, folding his arms as he leaned over the desk. We both were so close now, and he seemed almost amused by how nervous I looked. "And even if something were to go wrong, I’ll be there. Don’t worry, I don’t throw my assistants to the wolves."
        "W-well I appreciate that."
        He quickly continued with his line of thought, still leaning up against my desk. "And if I may ask, why do you look so nervous? As far as I’m concerned, you’re not the one being scrutinized by the other senators, you’re here for my benefit. Is it the other senators that worry you?"
        "A bit, I just don't know what to expect. I'm just a bit nervous and I'm new to the job. The longer I work with you the calmer I'll be."
        "You’re very inexperienced, yes, I’ve noticed. That’s another one of your good qualities, you’re not afraid to admit that." He smiled, tilting his head, still leaning next to me. "The others won’t scrutinize or judge you, I promise. They may question me, and be somewhat skeptical of you, but I’ll handle them, you needn’t worry."
[Timeskip To Meeting]
        Now I was walking beside Shockwave, the halls of the senate building bustling with activity around the two of us as we made our way to the meeting. It was evident Shockwave held an established presence in the halls, his gaze commanded respect and demanded attention.
        Eventually, we arrived at the meeting in question, a large room with a long table taking up most of the space. A few other senators were already present, chatting amongst themselves at their seats. A few of them looked over to Shockwave as we both entered. I stayed behind Shockwave and silently followed him to his designated spot.
        He took his seat, right at the center of the table, with me beside him. The others were still chatting, a casual atmosphere until Shockwave clears his throat, and they fall silent. He waits until everyone is in place before speaking. "Alright, let’s get down to business."
        His booming voice was completely different from his usual tone. It silenced the room entirely as everyone else looked our way making me take a deep breath.
        He smiles as everyone quiets down, some of them glancing in my direction before turning their attention back to him entirely. He takes a moment to glance around the table, observing everyone’s expressions, and their demeanors, before speaking again. "If I may have your attention, I have a new assistant that I wish to introduce." He motions to me, and I immediately feel multiple pairs of optics and attention on me.
        My eyes widened a bit anxiously as I turned to him hoping he would do the introducing part. I'm worried my voice wouldn't hold nearly as much volume as his.
        He chuckles softly, seemingly amused by my hesitation. He glances at me then back at the other senators, before addressing them all again. "This is (Y/N), she’ll be my assistant from now on, and a valuable asset to me."
        I note the smile he gives me while he says this, and the senators begin murmuring and whispering amongst themselves. Shockwave doesn’t object to this, instead smiling wider, clearly waiting to hear what they have to say. You also notice some of them glancing your way occasionally.
        I quickly whispered my thanks. I probably would have made a fool of myself and him if I spoke.
        He glances over at me and nods, before turning his attention back to his fellow senators, his expression slightly more serious. They had now finished their whispering, and Shockwave spoke up again, his voice returning to a somewhat stoic and serious tone. "Now, enough distractions, I believe the topic at hand was funding for the Iacon Academy. Yes?"
        As they went back and forth with their arguments I wrote down every word from the Senators, which I will say is quite difficult with all the useless bickering some decided to partake in.
        It was clear some of the senators were more interested in arguing for the sake of arguing, rather than actually getting things done. Shockwave was getting noticeably more annoyed with each word spoken in the meeting. His fists occasionally clenched, and his jaw tensed, he was growing frustrated with it all. Even still, he was a master at keeping his composure, his expression stoic, never letting anyone see him annoyed. The fact that I had noticed, was a slight testament to my perceptiveness.
        I looked up at him with a nervous smile easily noticing his annoyance and whispered to him. "I didn't realize how annoying your job must be at times."
        He glanced at me when I spoke and sighed internally. He was trying his best to maintain a professional demeanor, but they were pushing it.
        "The arguing, the bickering, is just one of many parts of the job I could go without." He whispered back, keeping eye contact with me, before returning his attention to the meeting.
        "How do you ever get anything done around here?"
        He chuckled a little at that. A rare moment of lighthearted humor in the tense atmosphere of the meeting. "A fair and understandable question to ask in this situation."
        He sighs, as the arguing only raises in volume, before tapping the table, and commanding all attention on him.
        With a stern expression and a commanding tone, he speaks. "That is enough!"
        His tone would have scared me out of my seat if it had been directed at me. All eyes turn to him in unison. Shockwave stares straight ahead with an intense, yet serious expression, waiting for one of them to argue or object. No one speaks up, and he takes this opportunity to speak again. "All this arguing among friends doesn't get us anywhere, does it? We’re all here with the same goal, to aid the best interest of Cybertron. We may have our own beliefs and personal goals, but our purpose here is to keep things running smoothly for the greater good of all."
        I wasn't always completely certain of his goals as a politician but his voice rang out with a truly hopeful and optimistic outlook for Cybertron. I was proud to be working beside him. He glanced in my direction again, for a moment, a silent gesture of reassurance. He wasn’t done speaking yet. But he was pleased to see he had made an impression. His expression and tone soon turned serious again, and he began speaking once more. "We’re all on the same side here. Let’s put this childish squabbling aside for a moment, and start getting work done."
        I looked around the table to see all the senators had a slight look of shame. Shockwave smiles, pleased to see them all quiet and a bit humiliated by his actions, and continues speaking, as he pulls up a holographic map for them all to see. "Alright, let’s get back to business." He says as he moves on to the subject of the Iacon Academy.
        It had seen better days since I last saw it. A heartbreaking sight to see such a wonderful facility going to shambles. He brings up some numbers, charts, and other data related to the academy. All concerning funds, or lack thereof.
        "This academy has stood as a beacon of learning and knowledge for generations of individuals in this city, but funding is running dry. More and more of its resources are dedicated towards its deteriorating state rather than actual education, and it's getting worse by the day."
        It was truly a shame to see. I just hoped they could all agree on a solution.
        A small discussion ensues between the others, some agreeing some arguing, and some simply keeping to themselves. It goes on for a short amount of time until one of them speaks up.
        "I say we cut funds entirely from the Iacon Academy, and dedicate those funds to something more useful." Came from one of the quiet senators on the far end of the table.
        I accidentally gasped at the suggestion louder than I'd like. So I quickly covered my mouth and looked down at my notes hoping I didn't get scolded for my disruption.
        Shockwave raised an eyebrow at this unexpected outburst and glanced over at me. Then, glaring at the one who suggested cutting all funds, he says, pointedly and sternly, "The Iacon Academy needs funding, we cannot just cut funding entirely. It's a core part of our city, and we can't simply just let it fall apart."
        Shockwave took the words right out of my mouth. Shockwave glared at the one that suggested the foolish idea. The others all began to speak up and add their own opinions, some more heated than others. It was clear it'd become a bit of an argument again, one quite different than the bickering during the start of the meeting. It was now a tense discussion of different opinions, with everyone throwing ideas into the mix. Again, Shockwave's fists clench, and his jaw goes tense again. He seems frustrated but keeps himself from reacting, for now.
        He called for the meeting to close for now so everyone could think through their decisions and come back with clear plans rather than arguing with one another.
        And just like that, the meeting was over. Most of the other senators seemed disgruntled and mildly irritated with Shockwave's decision to close the meeting in the middle of a discussion, but they didn't object.
        He knew they'd come back later with even more to say, and even more to argue about, but it would hopefully be less heated than this meeting, and actually accomplish what it was meant to. After the others began to leave, Shockwave sighed and pinched the bridge of his nose, tired from everything that had just taken place.
        "Are you alright Shockwave?" I asked kindly while making sure all my notes were together and organized properly. I know he'd like to read over them later.
        He looked over at me, surprised, and sighed. "Just tired. Frustrated with all their arguing and bickering, it happens every single time. I don't know why they bother to show up if all they do is go back and forth about things."
        "Well, that's how it always seems to be when people with positions of power get in a room together. But you seem different. You don't act like most politicians."
        He raises an eyebrow again, amused by this comment. "Oh really? And how is it you expect politicians to act, exactly?"
        "Well like most of the people arguing during the meeting. Argumentative, rude, judgemental, and completely self-centered."
        He rolls his eyes at this, nodding in agreement. "Unfortunately, that's just what it's like working with most fellow politicians, I could spend hours listing everything I find annoying about the way most of them act."
        "Then why do you do it, why deal with them? There are plenty of other things you could do to help people. And less dangerous. You're always in danger while in your position and no one can get along."
        He crossed his arms, a serious but calm expression on his face. "Because if no one like me does it, then everything will go to waste, and nothing will change for the better. Someone needs to maintain balance and make sure things run smoothly. I am quite aware of the dangers that come with the job, but I am willing to take the risk to make sure Cybertron continues to thrive."
        I could almost sigh. "You're too good for this job. I mutter to myself. An old friend of mine also told me about you before I got this job, you know him pretty well. Orion Pax, the name should sound familiar. I might have liked a bit about why I signed up for this job."
        His eyes widened and he raised an eyebrow again. "Orion? Of course, I've known him for longer than I can remember. What does he have to do with this?"
        "He's the main reason I applied for this job. He's worried about your safety. We all know you've had multiple death threats in your time working here. We'd all hate to see you get hurt."
        He raises an eyebrow at the death threats part. "Of course, he is."
        He sighs. "I appreciate his concern, but I'm not in danger. I know how to handle myself, and I'm perfectly aware of all the risks that come with the job. I knew what I was getting into when I decided to join the Senate, and I won't let a handful of death threats from scared politicians stop me."
        "Well Orion wants to make sure you're safe so..he might have asked me to try and work with you. Everything I said in our interview was true but I'm not just a simple assistant. I worked with Orion before on more important and dangerous operations."
        "You…Worked with Orion on something dangerous?" He tilts his head, looking at you with a curious yet somewhat uneasy expression. "Tell me truthfully, did Orion know you were going to mention this to me?"
        "No he wanted me to stay quiet, but I hated the idea of lying to you. I wanted you to know the truth, but my main reason for being here is to help you and make sure you're safe for Orion's sake."
        He crosses his arms, and his expression turns into a serious yet slightly displeased look. "Orion knows that I don't want to be protected or treated differently because of his concerns. And he should have told me this ahead of time. I understand his concern, but I didn't ask for him to send someone to watch over me."
        I looked down in defeat. "If you want me to leave I'd understand."
        He shakes his head and sighs. He's angry with Orion, and his expression makes that clear. "No, I don't want you to leave. I want you to do exactly what you were hired for. It's Orion who I have some… choice words for."
        "He only means well. He views you as a good friend. But times like these are unsafe for good bots like you. Well us I suppose."
        "I'm aware, he's mentioned that fact countless times before and I always tell him the same thing. There are others more valuable than me, and I can handle myself if there really is danger. And I know he means well. The concern comes from a good place and I appreciate the sentiment, truly. But sending someone to protect me, without ever asking me about it is just… a bit insulting."
        "That's why I wanted to tell you. And the only reason Orion sent me is because he's heard word of someone planning something against you. We're not sure yet but it seems like you're in danger."
        He raised an eyebrow, listening intently. "Heard of something? From who? Do you know anything concrete about these threats?"
        "From what I know it's possible some of the other senators want to take you out. But that's all I know for sure. I wish I could tell you more."
        He closes his eyes and puts a hand to his chin, in a thinking pose. "They want to take me out? That's certainly an interesting development… and probably not all that surprising, a good portion of the senators don't like me one bit." He sighs and turns back to me, his expression more serious now and his tone matching it. "So you're here to what? Look out for me?"
        "In simple terms, yes."
        He looks me up and down, considering the situation. He's still somewhat unhappy about this arrangement, but he's not exactly opposed to it either. "I don't need anyone's protection, no matter what Orion says. But I respect the honesty you've shown...Alright, I accept your presence. But don't expect me to be any more careful than usual."
        "I accept those terms. I'll still only function as your assistant unless you're in danger. My goal isn't to be an overgrown babysitter. I'm only here when needed."
        He nods, and his expression softens again. "That's all I ask. As long as you still function as my assistant. I'm still not happy with Orion, I'll need to speak with him later."

The story is happening pre-time skip, while strawhats are in sabondy for the first time.
The first chapter is an introduction to the current story, which begins with Ace as your central romance. (This romance may shift to other characters as the story progresses, but don't worry, there's still plenty of Ace to come.) The story is written in first person. Female gender, Y/N, but feel free to change the gender, name, or anything else that makes you more comfortable.♡

YOUR POV:
You are walking. Or at least you think so. You don’t remember exactly how long it’s been, but it’s been long time since you’ve been practically going on autopilot. Walking, eating, and just going through the motions.
You just land in an island in the middle of the New World. All because Sand Roswald your lord and celestial dragon wanted to "buy" a jewel for his daughter that was now being sold in one of the best jewelry stores of the Red Line. I say "buy" because, of course, he would take whatever he wanted without caring what the store owner thought, and anyone who got in his way would be the one to lose. Just like what happened to me, but that’s another story.
All I could see were the yellow, worn cobblestones of the main street in the capital. I heard the screams and whimpers of people as they knelt, trying to avoid his gaze, and I could even hear footsteps as people ran, trying to hide somewhere else, trying to stay as far as possible. Mean while, in my head words repeated over and over: “Walk, look down, and everything will be fine.”
After so many years, the Sea Rock shackles hanging in my wrist where like part of my own body; I had learned to live with that weight. With that pain.
MARCO’S POV:
“All this will cost you 200 berris,” said the owner at the medicine shop.
“Alright, give me a second. Ace, hand me the bag.” The silence made me look back; Ace wasn’t there, and somehow I wasn’t surprised. The damn idiot had gotten lost again. I can’t take it anymore. Now I have to go look for him, and to top it all off he took all the money with him.”
The Whitebeard pirates had just landed that day, looking for supplies, and they had to set sail again quickly to complete an important mission. So they had just enough time to grab what they needed and leave.
“My friend has gone with the money; hold this for me, and I’ll be back for it.” Just as the owner was about to respond, a wave of people running and screaming in desperation rushed past the store. “What happened? What’s wrong with the people?”
“From what I understand, a celestial dragon is coming to the city today. If I were you, I’d stay inside until it’s gone. As far as I know, it’s Saint Rosward. They’re one of the cruelest families out there… if any of them could be considered merciful,” the man explained with kindess.
“I don’t have time for that. I need to find my berries and leave as soon as possible. Don’t worry, I’ll be back,” I replied with a friendly smile.
I stepped out into the deserted street. There was no one left; people were either already hiding or kneeling in the main street.
This could be dangerous. I need to be careful. I thought, and that’s when it hit me… If I were Ace, ¿Where would I have gone?… ¡THE MARKET! Which, of course, is on the main street…
Hidden under my cloak and trying not to draw too much attention, I made my way to the main street and knelt down with the rest of the citizens. Moving quickly, I tried to get to the front rows so I could take a better look at the market area. As I got closer, I saw three armed men and a girl in the middle, all at the entrance of a jewelry store. Through the window, Saint Rosward with a jewel on his hands. I looked around and suddenly, I SAW HIM. The idiot was on the roof of that same building, gesturing at me while laughing and eating an apple.
“What an idiot…” I thought as I signaled for him to come down. At that very moment, the atmosphere changed, and the entire scene around the street shifted. A single element was enough to send a chill down my spine. Something was about to happen, and that made me look towards the store’s door. The girl was looking up, at me to be more specific, straight into my eyes, and that’s when I realized.
I looked her up and down, inch by inch, for seconds that felt like hours. The girl was young, practically a child to me, though it was hard to tell since not a single inch of her body was visible. An old, tattered cloak, almost like a sack of potatoes, covered every part of her body, except her bare feet, covered in blood and mud, and her hands, which were bound by sea stone handcuffs. Her long, tangled brown hair and dark brown eyes were the only visible parts. I scanned her nose, cheekbones, mouth… eyes… those eyes.... so familiar, and then an image came to mind: my mother, and this girl was the spitting image of her.
“Y/N…” I sighed. But it was impossible; my sister was dead. Or so they told me, I think. I don’t know. It’s impossible, what are the odds anyway? Exactly… None.
The girl looked at me, freeze, staring deeply without breaking eye contact, and then her expression changed, as if she had seen a ghost. The truth is, my face must look similar right now.
Her facial expression changed yet again and her tear-filled eyes brought back memories, memories of my childhood, which I’d rather forget.
A blow. A weapon struck her head, and blood began to flow.
“What’s wrong with you? Stop crying. Shut up,” one of the guards shouted. “If Saint Rosward sees you… ¿You won’t want to spend another week in the box, eh, slut?”
She didn’t take her eyes off me, and then a voice echoed in my head, saying, “Now.” I don’t know where it came from, perhaps from within me, from the deepest part, but I listened to it because next thing i know is that I stood up and ran, ran as fast as I could towards one of the guards, ready to hit him and steal his weapon. At the same time, almost as if she knew what I was going to do, the girl stood up, dodging the guard’s blows with ease, kicking him several times, and stealing his weapon. Without using her hands.
“Right!” she shouted, and tossed the wepon to me. I turn right and the weapon falls into my hands. I manage to shoot the guard in front of me.
Another guard falls behind me from a bullet entering his forehead. As I turn around, I spot Izou looking at me with an alarmed expression, probably thinking that I’m crazy.
Meanwhile, Saint Rosward and the rest of his guards and slaves come out of the store due to the commotion at the entrance. They find three guards on the ground, and me standing right in front of him.
“Damn bitch, if I didn’t need you, I’d kill you right here. Come on, grab her and kill the others,” Saint Rosward shouted furiously. I swear, at that moment, it seemed like he could have erupted into flames all over his body; his expression was one of pure rage. In fact his clothes began to catch fire, flames rising from the bottom of his tunic. ¿Does he have that power?¿ Has he eaten a Devil Fruit?¿ Which one? But then it hits me: !!!ACE¡¡¡¡
Saint Rosward begins to scream and jump around like a madman while his guards try to put out the fire now spreading across his clothes.
“¡Run! I´ll see you guys on the ship,” Ace says as a grin formed his lips.
Without thinking it much, I look at Izou; we both nod. I quickly head towards the girl and take her hand. The three of us run towards the port amidst the commotion of the people; no one does a thing, no one moves except us.
Y/N POV:
I’m still on autopilot. ¿What just happened?
Run. It’s the only thing I can think of; my whole body is trembling, numb from so many years of being unable to move, and though my feet, my legs are doing their best, the sea stone cuffs are hard to ignore now. The broken and unstable cobblestone ground makes me trip, and fall to the ground, unable to catch myself as my hands are bound.
Everything around me is shaking; I was so close to escaping, a glimmer of hope in my heart, and now I’ve lost it so quickly.
“¡She’s my sister!” I hear footsteps ahead. Strong, big arms lift me up. A silouette in a pink and purple kimono lifts me onto one of its shoulders and starts running without saying a word.
I let myself be carried, and for the first time in eight years, I feel safe enough to close my eyes and let my body relax. So much that I even passed out.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
I open my eyes. My whole body hurts; my muscles and bones ache so much that I let out a small groan when I try to move. My eyes slowly adjust to the light. I’m in a room, an infirmary, and although the room is small, it has the basics: a bed, a sink, and cabinets with countless shelves and various potions. Next to me, a blond boy in a lilac shirt sleeps in a chair. He slowly begins to open his eyes.
“Y/N ¡You’re awake!” he shouts, not realizing the volume of his words. "I mean… well…¿ Are you Y/N? ¿Who are you?”
“Marco… I…”
A deathly silence filled the room. Just for a few seconds, before voices behind the door interrupted the conversation.
“Ace, stop it. You can’t go in there, get lost idiot.” An unfamiliar voice spoke behind the door.
“Come on, Thatch, I’ll give Marco the food, don’t worry. We’re a very close crew and need to help each other out, so let me help by delivering this food to Marco.” This time the voice was more familiar, though I didn’t know why it seemed so familiar…
“All you want is eat that food yourself. Give it back to me…”
Suddenly, the door bursts open with a loud bang, a reven hair boy with a very peculiar hat enters the room. Behind him, a man in a chef’s jacket follows and you could tell that he wants to kill the young man in front of him.
“¡MARCO’S SISTER IS AWAKE! ¿Are you hungry? Here. I brought you food,” he said with a cocky smile.
“Ace, get out of here, I need to talk to her,” Marco replied with a frown, pushing the boy out of the room and closing the door with a bang. “I’ll bring you some food later.¿ Are you hungry?”
“It’s okay, it doesn’t matter. I’m not hungry,” I replied, looking down. The truth is you were straving. But thats a feeling you long ago abandon.
“¿Are you really Y/N?”
“Yes,” I replied timidly.
“If you really are, prove it. Show me the mark.”
"Never say who you are, never show them…" those words came to mind forcefully, too forcefully. But it was Marco, I was sure. It had been 15 years since I’d seen him, and although we were children, I knew it was him, that face, that hair… unmistakable. Besides, it was my only chance to dont go back, to never go back.
I turned around, giving my back to Marco, who looked dubious at the girl in front of him. I lowered the cloak, letting him see my completely bare back. Marco let out a gasp. There it was. Right on the neck, that symbol, which identified me unmistakably. Below it, another mark: the mark of the celestial dragons slaves.
A shiver ran down Marco’s spine, and terror invaded his body. Immobilized, unable to make a sound. I turned around: “Now show me yours.”
Marco turned around quickly, lowering his shirt to show me his.
“Bathe and dress, in a few hours we’ll arrive at the Moby Dick,” he said, tossing a towel into my arms. And before I could utter another word, he opened the door and left.
The idea of a bath sounded good; I can’t even remember the last time I bathed… in a pleasant bath of cause, since the cold water hoses of Marie Geoise... I wouldn’t know if they could be considered a bath.
With some reluctance and embarrassment, I opened the door, ready to find the bathroom… ¿How could Marco leave me alone? ¿Couldn’t he have shown me where the bathroom was?. I walked down the hallway, looking for something indicating to be a bathroom, and suddenly, the sound of running water reached my ears. “There it is.” At the end of the hallway, a large open door led to long and large bathtubs, the air condensed with all the steam from the hot water. “¡Hot water, finally!” I couldn’t believe it, nor could I wait to immerse myself in it. I quickly entered, touching the water with my foot, and suddenly I felt my whole body tremble, all the energy, the little I had, vanished. The sea stone cuffs. I had completely forgotten about them, they had become part of me, so much that I didn’t notice them. “I should better wash at the sink.”
I headed to the sink, and at that moment, behind me, a lot of water started to flow upwards, and with a great crash of water against the walls, a tall, muscular figure emerged from the bathtub.
A stifled scream escaped my throat; I managed to stop it by covering my mouth with my hands and instinctively hid under one of the sinks. The figure slowly emerged from the water; it seemed to be difficult for him too… It was the boy who entered the infirmary with the food. I started to scan his muscular tan body, naked… :¿¿¡NAKED??!! At that very moment, I woke from my trance. I better get out of here immediately. Crawling, I managed to reach the door and leave the bathroom, running down the hallway back to the infirmary, locking the door and hiding there. SHIT.

Donnie Imagine: His Feelings
Tumblr media
It was an accident how you discovered Donnie. You were online chatting with one of your long distance friends when your computer starting acting weird. It was glitching and random codes were popping up all over the screen. You kept trying to get them off and they wouldn't go away.
Flashback
Ha! Found you!
Found who?
Where's the video?
What video? Who is this?
Oh..Oh I'm sorry! Wrong person!
I'm so confused.
Not important. Sorry about this, Y/N.
Wait! Wait. How do you know my name?
I can gather a lot from hacking into your computer
Then I want to know your name.
Donatello. Again, I'm very sorry. Gotta go!
Technically you didn't find him, he found you on accident. You found it weird that a hacker would apologize profusely and then give you their name. You also felt uneasy that whoever this was found you so easily. Even if it was a weird accident, you still found it weird.
A few days after your encounter with the mysterious hacker, a bouquet of flowers was delivered to your door. They were beautiful and were a colorful variety of flowers. You were confused over why someone would send you flowers. You set them on your counter and took the card off the pick in the middle.
I just wanted to say sorry again. Hope you can forgive me. -Donatello
You raised an eyebrow. As strange and stalkerish as you had found it, you also found it a tad bit sweet. Whoever this Donatello was seemed to genuinely mean the apology. You figured this person got your address from hacking into your laptop. You decided maybe it would be best if you moved.
You didn't think there was any malicious intent behind the flowers but you couldn't be too careful. You began over the next few weeks looking for apartments around the city. You were coming up short and began to fizzle out your search. You hadn't received anymore gifts or weird messages so you believed that Donatello hacking you was just an accident.
It was a Thursday night, you had just gotten home from a late shift at (your job). You had just taken a shower and was ready to go to bed. Then you heard loud yelling and objects shattering in the apartment above you. It scared you.
You walked out to your living room area and noticed your apartment was shaking slightly. Suddenly everything went quiet. You were worried that maybe your apartment was next because there had been a lot of break ins in the area.
"Are you okay?"
You jumped and turned around and threw a punch, but your hand hit something really hard. You yelped and grabbed your hand, tucking it towards your chest. Your eyes trailed up and saw a well over 6ft turtle in your living room.
"What the hell..." You mumbled, your eyes trailing all over the creature's face and random gear hanging on his body.
"Don't freak out! It's okay. I'm not gonna hurt you." The turtle told you.
"I don't..I don't understand." You whispered, trying to ignore how your hand was throbbing.
"You don't have to but I think your hand might be broken." The turtle replied, holding his own hand out. "Mind if I take a look?"
"You...You what?" You asked, looking down at his hand. "What are you?"
"Technically I'm a turtle and a ninja...and stuff." He replied, awkwardly looking around.
"How did you get in?" You asked.
"I don't wanna tell you how to live but um, you should lock your bedroom window." He replied, scratching the back of his head.
"Oh..right." You mumbled.
"May I look at your hand? As a way to you know, apologize." He asked, an awkward smile on his lips.
You didn't feel much fear with him, in fact he appeared to be harmless, besides the weird tech gear on him. You didn't feel scared or on edge or like you needed to run away.
"Sure.." You mumbled, holding your hand out.
The turtle gently touched your hand with his, you winced. He put the goggles on his head down over his eyes and clicked his tongue.
"You have a few hairline fractures in your hand. Do you have a first aid kit?" He stated, lifting the goggles back on to his head.
"Yeah...in the bathroom." You said, studying his face.
"Have a seat, be right back." He said, turning around and walking off. He came back a second later with your first aid kit. He knelt down in front of you where you sat on the couch. "I'll try and be gentle."
"Thanks..." You whispered as he gently took your hand in his. "Can I um, can I ask for your name?"
"It's Donatello." He hesitantly replied, slowly wrapping your hand.
"You!" You exclaimed. "You're the guy who hacked my computer!"
"So you're Y/N...and that was an accident." He stated. "Please hold still."
"How did...why did..I'm so confused." You said, your eyebrows furrowing.
"All done." Donatello said, letting go of your hand. "If you um, you know, really want to know, I can, um, well..."
"You can what?"
"Give you my contact information."
"Hm..well, you don't seem like a serial killer so, I guess that'd be okay."
End of flashback
Donnie sat at the shell razor as he fixed the latest damage from the last mission. The vehicle had rolled several times resulting in some holes and large dents. He needed something to clear his mind because over the last few weeks, you were all he could think about.
He knew he felt differently about you than anyone else. The way you smiled and laughed made him happy in a way he couldn't explain. He had watched numerous movies and read several articles to try and figure out what it was he was feeling. There had to be some kind of reason.
About a week ago, he decided to bring it up to his big brother, Leo. He had to talk about it with someone. April was way too busy with her job and Casey, Raph would've listened but his advice isn't always the best, Mikey gave good advice but Donnie didn't think he'd be appropriate, and he didn't think his dad would be appropriate. Leo meditated a lot and always remained unbiased.
Donnie explained his feelings to Leo and he was surprised by his brother's reaction. Leo had always warned his little brothers to be careful with humans now that they're more involved in their world. Donnie explained that he, for the first time, didn't understand what was going on with him. Leo chuckled and patted his little brother's shoulder when he was done.
"You, my friend, are in love."
The word love had been ringing in his head for days. Sure he loved his brothers and April and Casey, but he didn't feel that way about you. He felt seen, heard, accepted by you in a different way than his family. He felt safe with you but not in the same way he felt with his family.
"Donnie! There you are. I've been looking everywhere for you!" You exclaimed, popping up behind him.
"Oh! Hi." He greeted you, looking down at you over his shoulder. "Good thing you're here. I could use a hand."
"Sure thing! But, I wanted to talk to you first." You said, leaning against the shell razor.
"Of course. What's up?" He asked, wiping his hands on a rag.
"Not that I mind or anything, but is there a reason why Leo showed up at my apartment last night without the rest of you?" You asked.
Donnie slowly peered at you. "Did he?"
You hummed. "And we had quite the conversation."
"About?"
"Nothing too crazy. He wanted some tea and some quiet." You stated, moving some hair out of your face. "Then after a few minutes of silence, he said something that kind of took me by surprise."
"You know how straightforward he is." Donnie replied, trying to cover his nerves.
"Yeah but...I didn't expect him to tell me you had a thing for me." You slowly admitted.
"Oh..." He mumbled.
"Is it true?" You asked.
Donnie looked down at the ground. He wasn't the best at feelings or great at expressing them. He wasn't the one his brothers turned to for comfort or advice because he wasn't the best socially. He was always confused with emotions when him and his brothers started developing them like human kids. He was the least emotional out of his brothers, he felt them privately, and didn't like to express them outright.
When Donnie started to get to know you, his entire world flipped upside down. You made him laugh like he had never laughed before and made him smile more than he ever had. You made him realize that emotions are a part of life and that he didn't have to conceal them. You were teaching him how to be more human without realizing it.
He never wished to be anymore but who he was and you never tried changing him. You allowed him to be himself and to embrace the parts of him he kept hidden from the rest. Sure he could be that way with his family, but with you it was a whole new world. You saw him for him.
"Well...yeah?" He hesitantly admitted.
"You're an idiot." You told him, smiling at him.
"What?" He asked, his head darting up.
You chuckled before moving to get in front of him. You two were nearly eye level, he was sitting and still he was almost at your eye level.
"I said you're an idiot." You repeated, your smile still on your face. "Donnie, I've been dropping hints for weeks that I like you."
"I don't-I don't understand." He replied, his voice slightly shaking.
"Why do you think I listen to you ramble and invite you to my place to work on your projects? Or bring you your favorite snacks and stay up with you until ungodly hours of the morning to keep you company?" You asked, putting your hands on his shoulders.
Donnie's breath hitched at the feeling of your hands on his shoulders. "I didn't..I didn't think anything of it. I just um, I just thought you were being nice."
"Do you notice me doing that to any of your brothers?" You asked.
"No..." He whispered.
"Donnie," you leaned in closer, "I've liked you for a really long time and if what Leo said isn't true-"
"-It is." He admitted. "I feel a lot of things for you that I've never felt for anyone else."
"What're you gonna do about it?" You whispered.
"Can I um, you know.."
"I'd be mad if you didn't."
Donnie swallowed thickly before reaching up and wrapping his hands on your waist. He leaned up slightly and you leaned down, he closed the gap between your lips. His head started spinning, he couldn't believe he was kissing you.
"My son, you are now a man." Splinter's voice rang out. "My son has grown up."
You and Donnie pulled away, your face red, Donnie refusing to look at Splinter.
"Dad!" Donnie whined.
Splinter chuckled and nodded at you. "I trust you with him, and he with you."
"Thank you." You replied, an awkward smile on your lips.
"Carry on, children." Splinter replied, a mischevious look in his eye as he walked away.
You and Donnie looked at each other and started laughing. While it wasn't a perfect way to tell you he liked you, Donnie had to admit even he was overjoyed.
"So, are we a thing?" He asked you.
"Do you want us to be?"
"Well..since I am a scientist, I have to run a few more tests." He stated, a sly smile on his lips.
"I think that can be arranged." You mumbled, a small smile on your lips as you leaned in once more.

The Divergence Point
Wes finally succeeds in revealing Danny Phantom's true identity, and everything immediately goes downhill so fast some old ghost named Clockwork steps in.
For the prompt: Wes has done it. He has exposed Phantom to the world. So why can't he get rid of that annoying tick-tock from his head? And why is everything burning? [from @kalifa100]
Read also on AO3
[Warning for mentions of violence]
He... he'd done it.
Wes could hardly believe it himself, but he'd done it!
He'd tricked Danny into transforming in front of everyone, and now no one could deny that Wes had been right all along. They'd all seen the truth with their own eyes, and he'd done it!
He'd exposed Phantom to the world.
But he never expected it to turn out like this.
Why couldn't he get rid of this annoying tick-tocking sound in his head? And why was everything burning? How could achieving his greatest goal be a bad thing?
People were rioting as an unconscious Danny got carried away by the Guys in White. Fights broke out. A fire started. The mayor was trying to get everyone to calm down to absolutely no effect whatsoever. Everyone was freaking out, and no one was even paying any actual attention to the truth Wes had just exposed which started all this in the first place.
He'd just wanted to show them the truth; he never wanted anyone to get hurt.
No. No way. He could fix this.
The ticking had been growing steadily louder in his head, louder and louder until he couldn't focus, couldn't even think, and he was clutching his head in pain, his eyes squeezed shut.
Then, all at once, it quieted to a soft tick-tock, tick-tock, tick-tock in the background, and the air grew cold.
Wes opened his eyes. He was no longer standing in the second floor window of City Hall. Instead, he looked to be in some kind of clock tower. But the colors were all wrong, eerie and unnatural like they were glowing and absorbing light at the same time.
"Wesley Weston," said a voice.
Wes jumped at the sound and whipped his head toward it. "Who are you?" he demanded.
"I am Clockwork, the Master of Time," the ghost replied, because there was no doubt in Wes' mind that it was a ghost. "And you seem to have gotten yourself in quite a bit of trouble."
Most Amity Parkers would be scared out of their wits if they found themselves face-to-face with an obviously powerful ghost, in what was obviously his home turf, being told that they were in trouble. Wes Weston was not most Amity Parkers, and he wasn't afraid of any ghost, no matter who they were.
Wes narrowed his eyes. "What do you mean?"
Clockwork rapidly aged before Wes, then waved his hand through the air, causing a line to appear. At a single point, the line split into dozens of lines.
"This, is your timeline, and that point," Clockwork said, sticking a gnarled finger at the spot where the lines diverged, "Is today."
Wes wanted to speak, ask a question maybe, or say something in his defense if he did indeed need to defend himself. But the words didn't come to him, so he just listened, waiting for Clockwork to finish his explanation, which would hopefully include why the hell Wes was here.
"Each of these lines that branch off from today, is a direction in which your timeline might go," the old ghost continued. "But you may have noticed that only one of them goes straight forward."
He indicated the line that continued straight amongst all the wild and diverging paths.
"So?"
"So this is the line that you have forced because of your actions," Clockwork pointed to a wiggling, looping line going way off in another direction.
"Again, so?"
"So... this is how that line ends."
Clockwork gestured broadly to a screen where Wes could see a world on fire, ravaged by war. His eyes widened in shock.
"Wait, you're telling me I'm responsible for that?"
"There are billions of people on your world, making trillions of decisions every day, but at any given point in time, there is only one decision that matters, and the person making it changes all the time."
Clockwork jabbed his finger once again at the point where the lines diverged.
"At this distinct point, there is only one person on Earth whose decisions determine the future of the world as you know it," Clockwork said. "And at this distinct point, that person is you. Ordinarily, there are a few potential vital decisions that will result in the safe continuation of the timeline, and one of the right ones is made."
Clockwork waved his hand again, and showed another timeline, side by side with the first. This one, too, branched off after a certain point, although it only had about ten possible outcomes, and three of them kept the timeline going more or less straight ahead, with only slight deviations, where the others spread wider.
Evidently, that was the standard situation, and the divergence point where Wes' decision mattered was atypical to say the least. His had lines that turned around and went backwards, lines that formed loops and waves, and only one that went forward.
Clockwork pointed once more at the divergence point where Wes' decision was the only one that mattered.
"At this divergence point, there is only one right answer," he said. "Only one way to avoid catastrophic consequences. You must not reveal Daniel's secret to the world."
"What?" Wes shouted. "No way! I worked hard to do that! There has to be some way I can keep the timeline from devolving into chaos and still expose Fenton's secret. I worked too hard for too long to just give up!"
"If that's so, then you will repeat the day over until you find it, or realize the futility of trying," Clockwork told him. "Failure will not be tolerated."
The next thing Wes knew, he was gasping awake in bed.
It was eight in the morning on Saturday, and Phantom's public appearance hadn't happened yet, meaning Wes hadn't even gotten the chance to enact his latest plan, and it hadn't caused absolute chaos.
Weird dream.

So this au is kind of floating in my head (I want to name it something a little better than Happy Family Au because it's not all going to be happy it feels deceptive)
But I was thinking about it and this post
So stuff I am reconsidering for the au along with plot points that would get it rolling and possibly be spoilers for the fanfic:
So biggest one Garmdon has brain damage to his frontal lobe and it gets caught
He is willing to seek treatment (mainly therapy, checks up to make sure it doesn't get worse, specifically things like occupational therapy and behavioral therapy)
And he is willing to stop attacking the city in the moment so Misako and Lloyd move back with him
He does have "fits"
The frontal lobe controls a lot including your impulse control, ability to tell right and wrong and your memories
Garmadon's episodes are typically triggered by intrusive thoughts, anxiety, and ptsd episodes (technically the whole episode would be a ptsd episode but it triggers a spiral)
There are a few ways these episodes manifest
The trigger effects the manifestation
Ptsd, ptsd can look like a few different things (ask me how I know 🫠)
Most severe would be fully immersed in the memory, in his head he is in the middle of it and is trying to survive
Less severe would be he's aware that he'a not really there but he keeps seeing images in the corner of his eyes and/or the sounds, he also may be having sensations of touches he experienced during that trauma (anything from a touch on the shoulder to getting stabbed)
^ this one can be variety of severities and he is often staring off into space trying to think through it because he knows it's not what is actually happening but he doesn't make the most moral or rational decisions
Intrusive thoughts triggering an episode he acts on the thoughts, this can be very dangerous but usually he can be talked out of it
If he can't be talked out of it then he has to be restrained until he can be reasoned with
Anxiety especially anxiety attacks leads to him acting irrationally and lashing out
Lloyd is never left alone with Garmadon for his safety, Garmadon was upset at first with this but then had a minor episode in front of Lloyd and saw how much it scared him
When Lloyd is older and capable of defending himself from Garmadon he is allowed to be alone with him
.
Lloyd is the best kept secret
Everyone knows Garmadon has a wife but no one knows who she is or what she looks like
Only the scientists who sign ndas, Misako, Mystaké, Wu, and Garmadon know that Lloyd is his son and lives with them
Lloyd is allowed out of the volcano chaperoned but he goes by Lloyd Montgomery
.
Because they regularly go to Mystaké for calming teas and healing teas (can't get rid of the damage but it lessens the effects) for Garmadon they are much more aware and comfortable with their oni heritage
Garmadon had gotten comfortable in his oni form (has less headaches and and he feels like he can think clearer also four hands are handy) and his human form feels itchy like clothes that just don't quite fit anymore
Lloyd is really comfortable in his human form but he can access his oni form and a form that is a mix of dragon traits and oni traits
Lloyd doesn't like how aware he is of his powers in his other forms, they are muffled in his human form even though they are still accessible
.
Misako is glad to have her family together
She knows Lloyd is the prophesied Green Ninja but feels like this may be the best prevention to the prophecy, she is still studying it to be safe and recognize signs if they happen
Sometimes she's worried she didn't make the best decision by going back to Garmadon, she sees his struggles and sees the fear and trauma Lloyd has gained from seeing some of his father's episodes
But she's more worried of the damage will be done if she tries to take Lloyd and leave again
She has no sense of normal anymore, her son has wings today? That's probably fine, oh her husband and kid want to destroy things? Well everyone has those days it can be quite cathartic, the start of puberty comes with sneezes that shake the whole island? She's dealt with weirder
.
The scientist stick around but now the volcano is more of a research facility
A lot of them were actually marine biologists and switched over to engineering when they saw the perfect opportunity for study and extra funding they just needed engineering and a small sacrifice of morals
Those that actually wanted to destroy the city left
Some planned on playing Garmadon and the city by creating weapons and the selling the defense to the weapons and just building off it (it's called job security)
One of those scientist is Cyrus Borg, no one knows the tech lord works for Garmadon
Borg built Pixal as a defense for Lloyd if something happened where it was just Lloyd and Garmadon
Pixal is like an older sister/cousin to Lloyd and is often his chaperone
She does tend to stick around Borg more at first but soon became comfortable with doing her own thing and just keeping an ear or eye out
.
At 17 Nya gets a marine biologist internship
But they are super sketchy about the location and stuff
But it's a paid internship and it would help her and Kai out a lot
So she omits the red flags when talking to him about it
Besides she can take care of herself
The warehouse was clean
The nda is odd but if they are doing anything illegal it's void so...
Is that Lord Garmadon's volcano?
Was that a child!?
.
Anyways that's what I got

Yandere Oc's X Male Reader
ALL FAKE!!!
Waking up sucked. You preferred sleeping because then you wouldn't need to your shady ass and very much illegal job.
You lived in the city a very busy city. Tokyo.
However, you had a great view from the apartment you lived in.
The tall buildings reach for the sky, creating a mesmerizing skyline. The streets below are bustling with life, as people go about their day, creating a vibrant tapestry of movement. It's a view that never fails to captivate you.
Currently it was 4:30 a.m and you needed to get to the lab at 6 a.m. it's time to get ready.
You work as a scientist. In a lab where your fellow work mate's experiment on non human entities that have appeared less then a year ago. This very much was illegal but at the end of the day not many cared about these " entities ".
These entities took on Various forms..animals...half animals... objects...
They all however had human like intelligence.
Half-human entities were very much able of feeling emotion's such as pain , sadness , depression etc... this was found out through your colleague's experiment's.
The entities were kidnaped ( this is the part that's illegal because no one cares about the entities ) then experimented on.
Your role in the lab was clean up service. You clean up the bodies of the entities that may have died or of your colleagues that were killed.
As you're showering you think about the message you got from one of your superior that liked to gossip.
He said that the lab has gotten some new entities..
You wondered if any of them will survive the beginning experiment's. Those were the most died in.
The scientist would be more harsh to make them submit, put them in life or death situation to see their full abilities and much more you were unauthorized to know.
The new entities where:
A half snake ( which is also referred as a naga. ) they are identifiable by their scale's and half of their body is snake like.
A shape shifter they are identified by how their entire body seems wrong like their body isn't correct.
A sentient jelly like substance in a shape of a human. You've got no idea what the fuck that is.
A half octopus. ( having tentacles instead of leg's )
A vampire ( Fang's and pale skin. Commonly seen with red eyes )
A half dog ( having dog ears and snout )
A half cat ( cat ears , whisker's and tail )
Stepping out of the shower you put on your typical unfirom for work.
A light blue shirt and black pants a long with it are black boots and white long coat lab.
You go towards the kitchen have breakfast before heading out to the bus stop.
The bus leave's you off about thirty minutes away.
The walk is complicated and when you were new you often got lost. There was a bunch of turns and shit.
Finally you sigh as you see the lab.
You enter and is immediately greeted by the A.I assistant voice.
" Good morning ( Name ) ( Last Name ) you are just on time. Please, head to the main area. Thank you & good day! "
You sigh and head to the location knowing it's gonna be a long day today.
Eventually you make it to the main area in which there greets you your superior Dr. Nie. Dr.Nie was a handsome young man with a brown bob cut and light green eyes having two moles underneath each eye. His uniform was exactly like yours accept his shirt was darker blue. He held a clipboard with his black pen touching his lip.
"Ah, morning. Listen here we've got some new entities today and some of them lived. Not without making a mess. Go to examination room 107 and clean up. I recommend wearing a mask the smell is simply malodorous."
Grimacing you accept and go to the supply room.
You couldn't help but take a big gulp of air before putting on the mask and going in room 107.
Blood was pretty much everywhere and green scale's were scattered across the room.
You're pretty sure there was also a piece of a scientist uniform.
In the middle of the room in a pool of blood was broken glasses.
Ah you think a scientist was eaten.
From the scale's you're guessing this was the snake's testing room.
You pull your gloves tighter before throwing the soapy water that was in the black bucket across the room and start cleaning.
The glasses were thrown out.
A dead person does not need glasses.
You wanted to complain how you were underpaid however you were too scared to do that.
Couldn't get fired they'd simply kill you so you don't tell anyone about the lab.
Even if they didn't, where would you work?
You failed college.
Sighing you silently apologize to your mother who always told you to study and everytime you brushed it off.
After finishing you speed walk to the staff bathroom and wash your hands carefully and throwing the now dirty glove's in the bin.
You hear the bathroom stall open and close.
"Oh, Dr. (name) ! How are you? You weren't present yesterday." A monotone voice was heard before the sound of the sink started.
"Mm. I was sick."
"That's a shame, you've missed an entertaining show."
"Let me guess, someone's tried to quit?"
You got a hum in response.
"Let me fill you in."
Dr. Gold then proceeded to tell you in detail that you really didn't want how the execution went.
It was stupid really. Wasn't it obvious you'd be silenced?
The stupid man was thrown in with 333.
333 was a half crocodile and half horse. Having the mouth and teeth of a crocodile also the speed while the body of a horse. A truly horrifying thing.
You say goodbye and again speed walk to continue the rest of the day.
All went great till you were called to the second main office...

Can't remember what started it, but I've been on a bit of an Alexis kick recently and started thinking about my headcanons/version of here. So now I'm subjecting y'all to it /lh
Note: Yes, I am partially ignoring some elements of canon. I don't love the way she's written for several reasons— and also because I can play with these dolls however I'd like to. In addition, I will be re-contextualizing Sam's turning as well as discussing it to a certain degree. If that doesn't seem like your kind of thing, this post isn't for you.
Alexis turning Sam against his consent was wrong. I think it would be interesting if there were additional layers behind this decision. Both statements can co-exist. Don't act a fool on my post. /srs /lh
Anyways, thoughts under the cut (CW for mentions of violence/vampiric attacks + Sam's Turning's CWs):
The basics:
Her name before turning was Alexis Guevara. (I'm not a fan of "Getty", sue me /lh). Her family is/was of Cuban descent, and her being Latina/non-white is vital to my vision.
Alexis was empowered but humanborn prior to her turning. She was specifically a telepath, which caused a lot of strife with her family.
With this as context: She was kicked out of her home originally because of too many outbursts/incidents involving her hearing things that "weren't there" or "knowing things she shouldn't". The final straw was when she freaked out in the middle of a church service, screaming as tried to warn everyone that someone planned to attack them soon. When they went outside to check, there was no one there (Translation: Person obviously left after hearing Alexis give away their plan somehow).
After being kicked out of her home, she ends near Dahlia/some sort of city. Part of my inspiration for her stems from the version of Selina Kyle in Batman: Year One. After migrating, she quickly became a part of a small, tight-knit community of fellow black and brown otherwise isolated empowered people. In my mind, there was about 4 others she looked out for with her being one of the older ones.
In alignment w/ the timeline, Alexis is turned after a rogue vampire attack. But there's layers to it. The rogue vampire in question attacks more than just her. Everyone in this small community she considered her apart of is hurt in some way. She is one of maybe two survivors, if that. As she laid there waiting to die she could hear the thoughts of those around her as they died, calling out for one another— for her— before they passed.
Now that that's out of the way, you may be wondering: "Okay, what's so special about all of that?" Everything because I think it colors everything she does moving forward.
Part of the "turbulent progeny" reputation attributed to Alexis earlier in her turning stemmed from her throwing resources at struggling empowered (and/or unempowered) people seemingly willy nilly until William stepped in and was like "I need you to slow it down."
I imagine that discussion went something like: "You can't just do this, Alexis—" "Why not! It's not like DUMP is doing shit, William—" "There are procedures to this—" "FUCK THOSE! People need money to live, I should be allowed to fucking give it!"
This leads into how she gets roped into the vampiric espionage (like Porter). In exchange for her services to William's goals/initiatives/etc., she gets almost completely unrestricted spending for whatever she'd like. The vast majority goes back to the communities she wants/wanted to help.
The other angle to this is Alexis wanting to get back at vampires. She's gotten comfortable enough with her new lifestyle to not resent being a vampire, but she wants to hurt some of these bastards like they hurt her and her family all those years ago.
"Okay PK, but you mentioned Sam's turning. What does that have to do with anything?" I was laying out parameters and background, we can get into it now.
As it's explained in canon, I've always interpreted Alexis and Sam's relationship prior to everything as a friends with benefits/situationship type dynamic. Physically intimate above all but still close in other ways. Alexis hoped for more/a deeper connection with Sam, but it was painfully clear that the chances of that happening were dwindling with every night they spent with each other.
Night of the turning comes about. As it's described in canon, Sam is impaled, likely bleeding out, he's in rough shape. In my mind? With all the prior context? Alexis started experiencing a trauma response (which wasn't helped by the exposure to blood as well). As Sam assured her that he would be fine/he could heal himself (which, imo, was still debatable), Alexis was in full-on flashback mode. She was blinded by her panic and fear response, locked into a "this time, I can save them" mindset that had marinated over decades since she was first turned. She couldn't bear to watch someone she cared about die in front of her. Not again.
This wasn't the first time something similar happened. When Vincent was first brought to the Solaire estate, turned but unconscious, Alexis instinctively panicked because he was still covered in blood clothes and such (+ missing his prosthetic). Her mind went into that same "something's wrong, help him" mode, just this time William was there to stop her/assure her that he was already safe.
Alexis fully accepted her scolding from William after it got explained/revealed what happened. To say she regretted it would be a lie. Would she have wanted it to play out differently? Yes. Does she wish Sam had asked her to be turned— that the accident never happened— that she had never reached out that night? Yes. But she doesn't regret turning Sam. In her mind and heart, she was able to save someone this time. She can't fault herself for that, no matter how many complex emotions she feels about it.
Though he took her ability to invoke Sam (rightfully so), I imagine that (in a tweaked version of canon) Vincent, William, and Porter know the context of her turning and acknowledge that what happened was, in some parts, because she was triggered. At the first mention from Sam to leave her alone, she did. She tries to make herself scarce, avoid him as much as possible, keeps her distance if they have to be in the same space— She respects the fact he doesn't want her around and hasn't tried to press those since he was turned. They can forgive her for that much.
I've yet to firmly settle on a vision for Alexis and Sam's dynamic in the present day. But I think the crux of it, at least closer to when Sam was first turned, is: Alexis "We didn't talk like that, that wasn't what our time was supposed to be because that's not what he wants" Solaire (In reference to how she was turned) x Sam "Save the sob story for someone who gives a damn, Alexis" Collins.
That's pretty much the sweeping overview on my thoughts on/vision for Alexis. I'll likely design her at some point (my current height headcanon for her is 5'4", for those who would want to know). What can I say, she compels me /lh /pos

Pairing: Eventually Alastor x OFC, later- light Alastor x ofc x Lucifer Rated: E for eventual smut Content warnings: It's Hazbin Hotel- this feels redundant. Sex, eventual smut, referenced implied suicide to be discussed in more detail later, drugs, drinking, poor coping, toxic behavior, controlling behavior, cannibalism, idk, it's fucking Hazbin Hotel, if it's worth a content warning it's probably going to come up at some point? Religious trauma. reader has a name/is a oc.
AN: Why not post another chapter? Idk how long this will end up being, depends on how long the new fandom crack lasts and if anyone wants it.
Chapter 1 Chapter 2 Chapter 4
~~~~~<3
Amber tried to relax as Alastor walked her along the chaos filled streets. Being in the city was hard with Angel but at least she felt safe, to an extent. Sure, angel wasn’t particularly powerful but he knew the city and knew how to handle himself. He’d gotten through decades just fine.
Alastor was a powerful Overlord, she had gathered that much though she wasn’t totally sure what exactly that meant. With him at her side, she knew she didn’t really have need to fear most anyone on the city streets. That didn’t change the fact that she was terrified of the man himself. Danger and safety both were complicated things.
“Stop trembling, my dear.” Alastor broke the tense silence. “I’m here to help you~”
“Why?”
“Because I’m bored!” He laughed, “What better way to fill the dreadful time than to raise up the stray little dog our dear Charlie brought into something respectable. Maybe she’ll even be able to stand on her own feet!”
“Why?” Again she asked, not knowing what else to say.
“Ha! I know you’re rather young but I do believe you’re a bit too old for toddler questions. Now! Back straight, shoulders back. Hold yourself like a lady.” Alastor tapped her shoulders and back with the microphone atop his cane, held in the hand tucked behind his back.
“Good girl!” She flushed at the praise and annoyance at being talked down to equally. “And just like that you don’t look so much like a kicked dog. Head up, chin level with the ground. Do they not teach women how to carry themselves anymore? What a shame, what a shame. Long strides now.”
“We’re not really drilled on posture, no. Too busy learning useful skills.”
“And where are those ‘useful skills’ getting you now?” Alastor countered. “And what had they gotten you before you came crawling to my humble hotel.”
Amber stuttered out, trying to think of a single good answer to give him and failing. She hadn’t been able to keep herself safe with reading or writing in her afterlife. Hell, those things had hardly managed to keep her safe in her first life.
“Don’t change a thing.” Alastor directed as she settled into the posture he wanted, allowing silence to fall while she waited for direction.
Her hips rocked more with each step, trying to keep pace with him as he guided her down the sidewalk. It took work to keep her shoulders back and spine straight, more than she expected. It worked muscles she rarely paid much attention to. She focused on her breathing as they passed storefronts, finding a rhythm she could almost comfortably settle into at his side.
“And how does that make you feel?” Alastor leaned into her as he spoke, encroaching on what little personal space she had with her hand tucked into his arm, “Confident? Prideful? Arrogant?”
“A little?” She hated that he was right, even a tiny bit. She also hated how bitter the idea of those feelings tasted in her mouth. A woman shouldn’t be confident. She shouldn’t be prideful. To be arrogant was wrong. But did any of that matter, really? Was she not in Hell?
“In Hell, physical power goes a long way,” Alastor began his lecture, “Perceived power goes near as far. By luck alone, you stumbled into the acquaintanceship of powerful people. That and the ability to bluff will protect you from many. Using that pretty little head on your shoulders will protect you from many of those who may still try you.”
Amber tried to absorb the advice Alastor had given her. He wasn’t the first person she would expect to give her life coaching in Hell but she was far from in a position to shun it.
Something had to change though, Angel was right- she couldn’t just hide in the hotel forever.
He opened the door to a shop for her and ushered her inside with a hand at the small of her back. It was a simple tailor’s shop, with shelves full of bolts of fabric and figures displaying sample patterns. The sheep demon working behind the counter looked absolutely terrified to see the Overlord, a feeling Amber could relate to instantly. Alastor paid the reaction no mind at all however.
“My little lamb, how are you today?” The sheep meeped out an answer and gathered a stack of shirts, mostly red but some back and all near identical from what Amber could see.
“Your order, Mr. Alastor, Sir. If you’d like to inspect it before I wrap it?”
“Very good,” Alastor gave the stack a fleeting glance as he pulled Amber up to the counter. “I have another task for you of rather urgent need, I do hope you can accommodate it?”
The sheep meeped again, clearly too terrified to turn the powerful man down. Amber wanted to offer some sort of assistance to the sheep woman, some way to get the attention she was so uncomfortable with off of her but there wasn’t much that could be done.
“You see, this lovely little fox isn’t well dressed and she needs to be.”
“What would you like?” The woman came around the counter, eager to put her attention on Amber. It gave the small sheep a reason to focus her attention anywhere other than Alastor without appearing rude.
“Something dignified and elegant.” Alastor answered before Amber could open her mouth. “A few items, skirts and dresses.”
“Colors?” The woman asked.
“Make her match.” Alastor decided with a flick of his wrist as the woman finished taking measurements. She was quick and efficient while Alastor laid out what specifics he wanted. “Have it done by end of tomorrow. Thank you~”
“That’s so fast!” Amber couldn’t help chastising as Alastor led her out of the store while she tried to turn and face the woman quickly going behind the counter. She wasn’t sure what she wanted to tell the little sheep but somehow, she wanted to reduce the pressure.
“And so the fox does have a voice?” Alastor laughed, unphased by her protests. “I pay a premium to be a priority, I expect to recieve the services I pay for, simple as that. Now, let’s do something about shoes for those feet. What you’re wearing is simply dreadful.”
Amber had no idea what to make of the day. A imp man thing, black as night and tinted with green walked behind them carrying her bags, not that there were a great many of them. The lines and eyes of the imp were lime green.
A flash of her life top side reminded her that evil was always lime green. That was just in Disney movies however. This was real life. Well, real after life. Fuck this was weird. Who would have thought Hell would be so normal and yet so weird.
“Thank you,” Amber struggled to find her voice. She didn’t know what to make of Alastor. The man still scared her but he hadn’t been anything other than joyfully creepy.
“It is nothing my dear. It wouldn’t do to let the spider dress you alone. He’d have you looking a unsavory lady of the night. That would surely give our fine establishment a poor reputation.” Rude. Not totally wrong but still, rude.
“Can’t have that.” Amber braved saying.
While Angel hadn’t pushed her to buy anything she said no to, he did push her comfort level. It didn’t take much to do that however, her life up top had been full of below the knee skirts, high necklines and long sleeves.
With the simple blouses, modest skirts and slacks that Alastor was having tailored for her, she was being afforded the ability to tone down what had already been acquired. Hopefully she could find a middle ground that allowed her to live her afterlife a little more free and still not feel so exposed.
“Indeed, we cannot.” Alastor hummed a bouncy tune as he walked them down the sidewalk, his steps light.
They walked in near silence otherwise, just the clicking of their heels against the concrete and the melody from Alastor. As they went though, Amber received a sharp correction each time her spine slouched or her shoulders moved forward. The cane floated behind her, smacking whatever part of her fell out of his desired alignment was quickly becoming her number one enamy in Hell.
“That’s starting to hurt.” Amber grumbled as the hotel drew closer.
“Oh? Don’t want to be corrected, do not do anything needing correction. I can’t have a limp flower on my arm.”
“Welcome back!” Charlie was eager to see them enter, nearly exploding as soon as the door opened.
Amber ducked away from Alastor as he held the door open for her. It felt ridiculous honestly, to scurry away from him after having spent hours with him but she couldn’t help it. Her back ached from maintaining the posture he demanded and she wasn’t sure what she wanted more- to be free from that damn cane that kept whacking her or free from the imposing presence of Alastor himself.
“Oh good, Creepyface didn’t eat you.” Angel joked, or at least she had hope that it was a joke, as she put more and more distance between the towering man in red and herself. It felt like she could finally breathe.
“Tomorrow you’ll accompany me to collect your items.” Alastor announced, rather than asked.
“Oh, okay.” Amber said dumbly, wanting to say anything else.
“Seriously, I’m glad he didn’t eat you.” Angel said, passing Amber a drink as she reached the bar.
“Was that a real concern?” She asked softly, clinging to the safety of what felt like her first friend in hell.
“I don’t know, probably!” Angel said, looking to the bartender for confirmation. “It’s not crazy, right Husk?”
“Not out of the question.” He grumbled, giving Angel a new glass to replace the one he had given her.
“So, what did he want with you anyway?” Angel leaned, to the side and crossed his long legs while he gave her his full attention.
“I don’t know?” Amber grimaced at the taste of the strong drink in the glass Angel had given her as it burned it’s way down her throat. “He was worried about what clothes we got, that they would give the hotel a bad reputation.”
“Figures, stuck up prude.” Angel grumbled, downing his drink only to get a quick refill. “Probably can’t get laid and doesn’t want to be reminded. If he just asked me nicely-”
“I will close this goddamn bar down.” Husk warned though Amber wasn’t sure the hotel bar ever closed.
“I am sure he doesn’t need help with that,” Amber tried to defend.
Alastor was a handsome man in his own demonic way and power radiated off him. Sure, he was smile was sickeningly yellow and he was terrifying but since the dawn of time, woman have been falling at the feet of terrifying men. Panties dropped for powerful men all the time, looks be damned.
“He’s not unattractive and is a gentleman,” She added.
“Ha!” Angel snorted into his drink. “But that smile! I bet woman dry up as soon as he turns that creepy look on them.”
“That’s so rude.” Amber hushed him, trying not to laugh at the way Angel waved his arms, ever so animated.
“I guess there’s a kink for everything,” Angel sighed. “Would you fuck him?”
“Oh, I- I don’t, I mean- I, I don’t know him, not really. And he wouldn’t, I mean-”
“I’m fuckin with ya, Foxy. Calm down!” Angel laughed, downing his drink. “I don’t think he fucks anyway, even if you were interested. I’ve tried!”
“I am going to bed.” Amber decided, knowing it was the only way she was going to escape this situation. There wasn’t any way in the goddamn world she wanted to have this conversation.
Alastor creeped her the fuck out. The idea of Alastor fucking creeped her the fuck out. The idea of fucking Alastor should creep her the fuck out. It would any sane person and the fact that it didn’t totally was not something she was going to dwell on.
Not after spending what felt like hours being smacked by his cane. Her fucking back was probably going to be bruised. That’s what she needed to be focused on. That and figuring out how to exist in a way that kept Alastor’s attention off of ‘correcting’ her.
What she needed to dwell on was the fact that she was weak, powerless, weaponless and stuck in hell with nothing but a hotel to protect her. Sure, she’d come a hell of a long way, she had a bed to sleep in and now clothes to wear but all it would take was them deciding she wasn’t worthy or something and she was back to hiding in alleyways and trying to not draw attention.
“Amber?” It was Charlie’s voice that stopped her in the hall, turning to face the tall princess. The air around Charlie was different. The sunshine and rainbows had been replaced by a soft assurance. She was in Princess mode. “Are you okay?”
“Yeah,” Amber was caught off guard, far more used to seeing her in her over eager high energy mode the princess existed in most of the time. “Is that surprising?”
“No! No, I just-” Charlie struggled to put her words together. “Alastor’s just, he can be a lot sometimes.”
Amber laughed, she couldn’t say why. Maybe her sanity was fracturing. Maybe Hell was getting to her. Maybe she finally felt safe. Maybe it was the whacks to the back of her head when her eyes would fall to the ground as they walked.
“I had better times before,” She settled on saying. “But it wasn’t the worst time I’ve had. I- He’s really intimidating.”
“Be careful with him, okay? Don’t make any deals with him.”
“He’s dangerous.” Amber stated rather than asked.
“Very.” Charlie confirmed before adding, “He wouldn’t hurt a guest though!” as if that wasn’t in direct contradiction to her direction to be careful. “I’ll let you get some rest.”
“Charlie?” Amber called as the other woman made it a few feet down the hall. When Charlie looked back to Amber, she said “Thank you, for giving me a place to stay.”
The morning brought a fresh redemption activity. Amber was certain they wouldn’t work, hell surely wasn’t something you escaped from but who was she to argue. She was a guest, living rent free in exchange for whatever straightening up she could come up with to do and an honest attempt at participation.
Opening the door to head down, she walked right into the massive pink frame of Angel.
“Sorry Foxy.” He caught her with his lower arms, keeping her from falling. “I found the buttons and thread. Figured we’d fix your clothes up.” In his upper hands he held a pair of scissors and a small sewing kit, safely above her head. It had to be nice to have four hands, once one got over the weirdness of it.
Nodding, Amber let him in for what ended up being the most awkward experience in her afterlife. He had her lift her shirt so he could see her ass clearly and establish where and how exactly her tail extended from her body.
He was so tall and lanky that he could sit on the floor and comfortably grab at her clothes, moving her how he wanted without having to slouch down. Amber couldn’t even begin to imagine what the world looked like from his stature. How was it everyone around her was so fucking tall, with few exceptions and she only gained a few inches in her afterlife?
He cut down the back seam of her leggings until her tail rested naturally, though the rest of her was far from comfortable with the pink face focusing so intently on her ass. Sure, he looked at, touched and fucked asses all night, every night for his employment. For him, it was probably as normal as looking at someone’s hand or arm.
For Amber though, she didn’t have nearly as much experience having her ass examined. Especially knowingly. She had been sheltered, having only been with one man and if others looked at her ass to appreciate it, it was a moral failing on her part.
“Cute panties, oh wait- you’re not wearing any!” Angel laughed as he moved the fabric around.
“Shut up.” She hated that her voice was more of an embarrassed whine than forceful. It would have just been another layer of fabric that was bunched awkwardly under her tail. It was just another moral failing.
“You’re so goddamn pure.” Angel laughed. “Why the hell are you here?”
“Guess I wasn’t pure enough.” Amber shrugged, not knowing if she wanted to say why or if he really wanted to know.
It wasn’t something she really heard a lot of people saying. Perhaps most people had many reasons they were in hell and couldn’t identify the one thing that tipped the balance of their soul. Maybe she was wrong and it wouldn’t have mattered if she hadn’t done that thing and just being in the wrong faith was enough.
Did it fucking matter?
“How’s that feel?” Angel asked instead of teasing her anymore while he examined her tail. His finger traced down her spine from her lower back down to where the vertebrae shifted, shooting out and continuing into the tail instead of terminating into the sacrum.
“Better.” She had to admit all the awkward attention on her ass was worth it.
“Good. Don’t move or I might sew your ass cheeks together.” Angel said though Amber knew the general set up of her body made that unlikely. “Or I would if you had much of an ass back here.”
He first set a stitch at the seam, preventing any further unraveling of her pants. After that, he put a button on the waistband and created a hole for it. It wasn’t his neatest work he’d ever done but it would hold.
“We could stick a bow on it next time- that’d be kind of hot.” Angel laughed as Amber squeaked at the indecent idea. “Make your little ass a present.”
“Shut up,” Amber whined as Angel laughed. This was what it felt like to have a friend. It was foreign, something she hadn’t realized that she missed from life. “You’re an ass.”
“Yeah, yeah.” Angel swatted her ass before acting like the strike hurt his hand. “Settle down and let me button you up.”
“Thank you.” Amber wiggled her tail as Angel buttoned the back of her pants, enjoying the feeling of having it freely move while trying to ignore Angel.
“It’s not perfect but it’ll hold. I’ll do the rest later if ya want.”
“I can do them I think, if I use this as a guide. Thank you though.”
~~~~~<3
Charlie had exercises lined up. It didn’t feel like it had much of a point but who was Amber to challenge the process. The ever so kind princess was wholly invested in her plan to redeem sinners even if the group she had to work with was mostly hotel staff.
“So, I thought- maybe we can learn about each other’s lives from up top!” Charlie seemed very proud of herself for the idea as everyone in the room shifted uncomfortably. “Who wants to go first?”
Crickets. Amber felt bad for the silence that stretched on. No one seemed eager to talk about their living lives. She certainly didn’t want to.
“Okay, I’ll go first!” Charlie decided. Amber could feel her ears twitching doubtfully atop her head. “I have never actually been up top! I was born and raised here.”
It shocked Amber that the princess had always been in hell. The woman was more sunshine and rainbows than most people she had known in her life. If anyone deserved a life, it was her.
“You next!” Charlie pointed at her girlfriend who looked extremely uncomfortable.
“I had a lot of sisters.” Vaggie threw out as Charlie squealed in joy before all attention was directed to Angel.
He was just as uncomfortable as Vaggie appeared. “I came from a large Italian American family.” He took the path Vaggie had chosen as well, going with a generic family answer. Not participating but still participating just enough to skate by.
Husk had a likewise vague answer. All anyone was learning about their hotel housemates was that they had come from families which was a given. They had to be born and raised at some point. Even Nifty’s answer had been family based- Though Amber couldn’t imagine it, she had been alive at one point too and had no siblings.
Soon enough, all eyes were on her. It felt like the shadows themselves had eyes that were trained on her. Never in her life had Amber wanted less attention on her. It was suffocating.
“I had a daughter.” She finally said, looking into Charlie’s eyes and deciding to give her a bone, just a little bit more of herself than the others have given. “She was beautiful and caring and kind and sweet. The light of my life.”
“She’s still alive.” Angel assumed. It would make sense, Amber was just recently deceased and children do tend to outlive their parents.
“No,” Amber physically cringed back from the memory even as she forced herself to give more. It was the least she could do to support the princess that so whole heartedly took her in. “She passed shortly before I did.”
Amber stood from her chair in a hurry. She wanted a drink or she wanted to run but neither would have been a nice thing to do. It wasn’t Charlie’s fault that her little trust game struck a nerve. Likewise, it wasn’t her fault that Amber had decided to share her daughter and not something painless like having a father or sister or pet.
“I should go straighten up… something.” Amber decided.

You are completely, and utterly exhausted.
By the Gods, if you had just a moment to rest your eyes or a place to drape your weary bones, you would be the happiest woman in all of Faerûn.
And yet, you are still walking. Or in your case, stumbling. Merely moments away before taking a severe tumble toward the ground, which may just grant you the respite you are so desperately aching for.
You and your misfit group of companions have come quite a long way from the Illithid wreckage off of the Sword Coast. It’s a mystery to you that you’ve all even managed to get this far, and you’re sure that the sentiment is shared. The whole reason you have been walking, or stumbling for this long, is due to the fact that you all recently bested the Chosen of the Lord of Bones, Myrkul. Fighting Ketheric Thorm was a feat that you truly did not think you would be able to succeed in overcoming. Your comrades were sure at one point that you were done for. However, with their support, as well as Dame Aylin’s, you were able to see another day.
Another long and tiring day.
You find yourself walking the rubbled path to Baldur’s Gate, now clear of the Absolute’s forces. While you all surely rested the night of the battle, your muscles still ached. Not even Shadowheart’s healing spells have managed to fully soothe the gnawing pain you suffered from being thrown around. Granted, you weren’t the only one winded and wounded, but your companions were slowly starting to realize that they may need to set up camp much sooner than they anticipated.
As you continued to trail rather behind them all, the pace of the group slowly began to halt.
“...Why are we slowing down?” you ask, as your eyes dart towards each of your companions.
“Solider…” Karlach begins to speak.
“I hope you don’t take this the wrong way, but you look like you’ve seen better days,” she adds, her brows arching into a concerned expression.
“What?- No, I’m fine…I could just use a small break, is all,” you explain, dismissing her claims. However, you are far from fine. Not far from your side, Astarion quickly scans your face, fairly aware that you’ve lied through your teeth. If anything, he’s gotten to know you rather well over the past couple of weeks with the amount of time you’ve both shared.
And he was certain that you were moments away from passing out.
“Darling, I think she’s right.” he adds, as a look of apprehension surfaces on his face.
“Perhaps it’s for the best that we find somewhere to set up camp…” he suggests, as some of your companions nod in agreement.
“I wholeheartedly agree.” Gale chimes in, now utilizing his quarterstaff to keep himself upright.
“In fact, I think we may have some Waterdhavian cheese, baguettes, and cured ham within our camp supply pack…perhaps I can quickly prepare something for us all.” he adds, with a reassuring smile.
With a heavy sigh, you agree with them all as you allow yourself to be navigated to a nearby clearing, immediately finding a fallen tree trunk to collapse upon.
- - -
After completing a rather savory meal prepared by Gale, you found yourself sitting on top of your bedroll, which was situated right before the campfire. Your (e/c) eyes indolently studied the dancing flames, as you rested your chin within the palms of your hands. Before you begin to doze off, your ears detect approaching footsteps before a figure takes its place beside you. A pallid hand swiftly runs through your (h/c) hair, slightly surprising you before you sit upright.
Astarion blinks before snickering a bit to himself at your reaction.
“Apologies, my dear- did I startle you?” he asks, as you begin to rub at your eyes.
“It’s alright…I think I was beginning to fall asleep.” you explain, taking his cold hand into yours. As you run your fingers over his pale knuckles, Astarion continues to look over your face, taking into account the deep dark circles under your eyes.
“...How are you feeling?” he asks, wondering if your state has improved even slightly from earlier.
You raise your shoulders to shrug, before offering a response.
“A little better. Just still feeling sore…it’s like my muscles are crying out for help.” you explain, as you look into his vermillion eyes. They appeared to burn even more red than usual, which typically tends to happen when Astarion has yet to feed. In fact, you can’t recall the last time he had even done so. Normally he would hunt, in addition to drinking from you, however, you can’t think back to the last time you spared some of your blood for your vampiric lover. While you have been so fixated on your aches and pains, it seems as though Astarion had his share as well, judging from the small, purplish-green bruise nestled underneath his eye.
“...What about you? When’s the last time you’ve fed?” you inquire, causing Astarion to wave off your insinuation.
“You don’t need to worry about that, my dear. I’m sure I can procure… something later from the woods.” he attempts to assure you.
“Besides, I don’t think I could bring myself to drink from you in your state. If anything, you need rest.” he adds, causing you to roll your eyes.
You were fine!
A long and good night’s rest should nurse you back to health in no time.
“I told you all, I’m okay!” you exclaim, attempting to raise yourself to your feet as proof, only to immediately make contact with the ground once more. You let out a groan in response, laying flat on your back from your failed attempt.
Astarion raises his hand to his mouth to stifle his laughter, as you playfully nudge him with your foot to get him to stop laughing.
“You poor, poor thing,” he says as he helps you sit back upright, causing you to grunt from the movement.
In doing so, Astarion’s eyes light up as an idea comes to him.
“In fact, I think I have something in mind that can potentially grant you some…relief,” he says.
As your mind cycles through a myriad of different things he could be alluding to, your brow quirks up in curiosity.
“And that is…?” you respond with a confused expression.
“A massage, of course. I’m known to give rather good ones…or so I’ve been told,” he says with a playful smirk.
“Perhaps I can come to your tent in a bit, and help rid you of some of the tension you have built up.” Astarion suggests, prompting warmth to begin to generate within your cheeks.
“Hm…I can’t say I’m in the state to turn down a massage…” you drum your fingers across your chin, playfully considering the offer, despite already having your mind made up.
“Come to my tent in 10 minutes.” you eventually state, causing Astarion’s toothy smile to surface. He swiftly stands, before dramatically offering out his hand to help you up. You roll your eyes in response as a small smile surfaces on your face. Taking his hands, he pulls you up from your seat, causing another groan to escape your lips.
“Go get comfortable, my sweet. I’ll come find you shortly.” he assures you as you part ways, seeming rather excited as he walks back to his tent.
You giggle a bit to yourself as you watch him stride off before walking towards your tent in the opposite direction, picking up a lone lantern as you continue to make your way there. As you reach your quarters, you open up the flap before immediately lowering yourself down to the ground inside, bringing the enclosed lantern in with you. Upon setting the lantern down on a nearby leather chest, you release a deep sigh before beginning to remove your armor. Your arms are unreasonably heavy, making this an even more difficult task. As you undo each layer, you become more and more aware of some of the bruises you suffered from the day before, attempting to carefully maneuver the rest of your clothing without accidentally disrupting one. Once you get fully unclothed, you sigh to yourself as you lift one of the cushions in your tent to retrieve a loose-fitting linen camisole with its matching pair of shorts. You once again lift your arms to pull your nightwear over your limbs and onto your body. Once you accomplish this task, you sprawl your body out onto the scattered cushions on the ground of your tent, finally bringing your eyelids to a close.
It isn’t too long before you detect the sound of what appears to be someone beginning to undo the flap of your tent. As your body shoots upright, you recognize the pale, slender fingers undoing the ties of your tent’s entrance. The flap falls, revealing Astarion, with a wooden crate that appears to contain a myriad of different glass bottles.
“May I come in?” he inquires, with his distinctive smirk.
“You may,” you respond, with a quirked brow as you watch him lower his head before stepping into the tent. He then proceeds to set down the crate and remove his leather boots, before sealing the flap once more.
“I thought with the tadpole you no longer needed to be invited in?” you teased, as you watched him situate himself on the cushions alongside you, prompting him to snicker a bit at your joke. Your eyes once again scan the crate that he brought inside. It appeared to be filled with glass bottles that seemed to store different creams, emulsions, and expensive-looking oils.
“What in the hells…is all of that?” you whisper to yourself as your eyes flit between each bottle, a smile growing on your face as you stare in disbelief.
Astarion blinks as he studies your face, wondering why his collection of products seems to be startling you.
“Well…you seemed interested in receiving a massage, and I found it only fair to give you a proper one,” he says with a grin.
“I see…” you respond, as you watch him crack his fingers, causing you to giggle a bit at how seriously he’s taking this process.
Astarion’s gaze meets yours before his brows pinch together in frustration.
“Well…?” he inquires, before continuing his thought.
“Don’t just sit there ogling me. Come here, and get comfortable!” he says, patting the cushion before him as he urges you to find a place in front of where he kneeled.
You roll your eyes with a small smile before crawling over to him and turning so that your back faces him. You sigh a bit as you let your shoulders fall, attempting to obey his command and “relax”. Attempting to further ease your comfort, you fold your legs as you situate yourself within the cushion.
Your gaze faces forward, yet you are tempted to turn around and watch what Astarion is concocting once you hear the movement of glass shifting behind you. Letting the biting curiosity take hold of you, you start to turn your body backward before Astarion realizes that you’re watching his every move. He tuts, before taking his cold hands and gently turning your head forward once more, causing you to laugh.
“No. Peeking.” he states firmly, before continuing with what he was doing originally.
“Just…close your eyes, or something-” he suggests as he unscrews a glass bottle of oil before letting the liquid fill his palms. As you hear him rub his hands together, you jump a bit as you feel cold, slender fingers make contact with your skin. Ever-so-slightly, Astarion takes his pointer fingers to move your (h/t) hair out of the way, before beginning to gently massage your neck. You sigh a bit, focusing on the flickering flame in your lantern, as you close your eyes. You then shift your posture to move further back into him. His hands glide across your skin before deeply digging into your shoulder blades, causing you to hum in contentment.
That…actually feels good, you thought to yourself. While you’ve come accustomed to how skilled Astarion is with his hands, you could have never imagined one of his massages feeling like this.
As he continues to work, he directs most of his motion into the center of your neck, right in between your shoulder blades. You stir a bit, as he hits a part of your body that houses a very distinct knot.
Lowering his mouth to your ear, his soft lips brush against it before he speaks in a low whisper.
“Do you feel tension here?” he inquires, causing an electric ripple to run through your core at the sound of his voice.
“M-mhm…” you swallow, somewhat startled by the sensation of his words practically reverberating through you.
As he pulls away, he slowly begins to work at the knot, carefully making sure to make firm, yet articulate motions to help alleviate the pressure. You let out a breathy sigh, further relaxing into his touch. You take notice of the oil that he applied to his hands, which seemed to be growing warmer and warmer as he used it to massage you. An odd feeling, as both his naturally cold touch, and the warming effect of the oil work together to coax the tenseness of your muscles. The aroma of the oil fills the tent, giving off the scent of spiced citrus. There were notes of sweet almond, cinnamon, and clove, but more specifically, something that you’ve come to grow very familiar with. A scent that smelled so comforting, and distinct. Your nostrils twitch as you attempt to determine the scent.
 It could only be that of…
“This oil you're using…is that bergamot?” you ask, causing Astarion to halt his work.
If you knew that would be the case, you wouldn’t have spoken at all.
Astarion chuckles a bit to himself, somewhat shocked at the fact that you were able to recognize it so easily.
“You are correct, my sweet,” he affirms your suspicion, before resuming the massage, beginning to move further down your back.
“A rather impressive guess.” he commends you, causing you to smile to yourself.
“It wasn’t so difficult to assume…the smell reminds me of you,” you say with a soft smile, as a rosy tint settles into your cheeks. Once again, however, you jump a bit as you suddenly feel Astarion’s lips brush past your ear.
“May I go lower?” he asks, as he gently tugs at the straps of your linen camisole. Your eyes flutter open slightly, as they meet his finger lifting the string of fabric. You offer an eager, yet shy nod, prompting Astarion to smirk in response.
“Excellent.” he says in a low voice, pushing the strings of the camisole down past your shoulders, which causes the fabric to fall down your frame and gather at your waist. The cool air causes your nipples to erect, and once again, Astarion’s hands make contact with your body. As your eyes flutter closed, Astarion’s hands glide further down your back, while he cautiously moves around the bruised patches of skin that he comes across. His fingers lightly trace down your spine, before his hands settle on delicate, unbruised skin. He then carefully kneads into your back, causing your posture to shift. As he continues to carry on, a moan builds in within you, forcing itself out of your lips.
Somewhat embarrassed, you raise a hand to your mouth, which causes Astarion to chuckle a bit at your reaction.
“Careful, my love…you may wake our companions.” he jokingly warns, although, he truthfully did not care if others heard.
Suddenly, his hands glide upward across your skin, before slyly making contact with your breasts. With a firm, yet gentle touch, Astarion’s pale hands begin to cup your breasts, causing the tint in your cheeks to grow darker. He begins to massage them, softly brushing the pads of his thumbs over your erect nipples. Another moan spills out of your mouth as Astarion brings his body close to yours. Your arousal builds, causing a pleasurable burn to begin to develop in between your thighs. As he continues to tenderly massage your breasts, you throw your head back into his chest, shifting in your seated position, before Astarion lowers his lips down to the exposed flesh of your neck. He then gingerly peppers your neck with soft kisses, before moving to suck at the skin, intending to leave a hickey to match the other bruised patches of skin you possess.
Becoming rather amused with all of the squirming and moaning you seemed to be doing, Astarion couldn’t help but pull away, only to take you into his arms and gently pull you back into his lap. A light squeal erupts from your lips before you relax into his hold. You suddenly become very aware of a growing bulge in Astarion’s trousers as it rubs against your sex, causing another ripple of arousal to echo through your core.
Astarion continues to explore your body as his hands glide down your side, moving toward your stomach until he eventually meets the waistband of your shorts. At this point, your clit is practically thumping in concordance with your heartbeat.
Pressing his lips towards your ear, he whispers, “Shall I go lower…?”
Your breath hitches before your eyes flicker open.
“Astarion…you don’t have to-” you start to speak.
“You’re absolutely right. I don’t have to,” he interrupts your thought, using his free hand to guide your chin, as your gaze met his.
“I want to,” he assures you, as his scarlet pupils lock onto your (e/c) eyes.
A smirk tugs on his lips before he moves his face closer to yours to press a soft kiss onto your lips. You lift a hand to his cheek, desiring to deepen the kiss as long as you can. While doing so, your other free hand takes grasp of his hand, maneuvering it towards your shorts. Astarion smiles into your kiss, reacting to your forwardness. As he pulls his face away, his hands slowly creep into your shorts, and the pads of his fingertips finally make contact with your clit. A soft moan escapes your lips as you turn, positioning yourself so that your back once again relaxes into his chest. As he holds you, his one hand further rubs down the folds of your labia, while the other once again returns to cup and massage one of your breasts. Astarion traces one of his fingers around your entrance, sighing as his finger is coated with your slick arousal. In doing so, he rhythmically rubs two fingers against the inside of your folds, causing you to moan once again. As he continues to go back and forth, occasionally circling your clit with his fingertips, your body twitches as you begin to grind against the friction as well. The feeling was driving you mad, and if anything, you could think of only one more thing that would further send you over the edge.
As your body arches against his, you tilt your head slightly to the side, exposing your neck. With a free hand, you attempt to reach back, trying to guide his face towards your neck once more.
“Bite me.” you say, as his eyes widen a bit by the proposal.
His gaze quickly meets yours, looking for confirmation, only to be met with another eager nod. As you confirm your request, Astarion lowers his head towards your neck, planting a delicate kiss at the crook. He takes his other hand and cradles your head. As he teases your entrance, Astarion fangs graze against the sensitive flesh of your neck before piercing the skin, all the while dipping two of his fingers into your body. Your body arches once again, biting your lower lip as you stifle a deep moan. Blood starts to stream down your neck, past your collarbone, and drips down your chest. As your blood coats his tongue, he can’t help but moan into your neck as well, causing a flutter of arousal to echo through your core once more. Sweat beads on your forehead, as you clamp your eyes shut in pleasure. His fingers work in and out as he steadily fingerfucks you with little to no resistance. You shudder from the sensation, growing wetter and wetter from feeling filled by him, and him alone.
Astarion continues to suck at your neck, simultaneously thrusting his fingers with ease. He could practically feel your heartbeat thumping against him, and as the pace slows, he pulls his fangs out from your neck. He drags his tongue along the bitemark, attempting to quickly cleanse the wound. As he finishes drinking from you, his hands shift from cradling your head to directing attention back to your clit. With the combination of circular motions, thrusting, and rubbing against that one particular spot, you were only but moments away from cumming.
“A-Astarion…I-I’m-” you begin to stammer, before reaching climax, and practically gasping for air as you feel a complete release come over you.
“That’s it, my love…” he coaxes you with a low tone as you coat his fingers and hand as you orgasm. Your body practically goes limp as you recline further against him, and he can’t help but snicker at your ecstatic expression. Bringing his fingers to his blood-stained mouth, he sucks on the two that were just previously inside of you, wanting to taste your arousal. Astarion moans a bit as he shuts his eyes, taking in the flavors of you, before he licks away the remaining blood from his lips.
As you enter a state of blissful stupor from your orgasm, you slip out from his lap before falling back onto the cushions of your tent and wiping away the sweat from your forehead. A contented sigh escapes your lips.
Astarion’s brow quirks in curiosity, as he was very interested to know what you were thinking.
“Well…how do you feel now?” he inquires as he takes a nearby rag to pick up any of the blood that may have dripped down his chin. The purplish-green bruise that once sat on top of his cheek now seemed to have faded away upon him feeding from you.
With your eyes still shut as you lay on your back, still basking in the aftereffects of your orgasm, a rather goofy-looking smile surfaces on your face. Truth be told, a massage and an orgasm were almost exactly what you needed to temporarily forget about all of the bodily pain you were experiencing from your previous battle.
“That was…” you begin, before pressing a hand over your bare chest.
“I feel fucking amazing.” you finish your thought with a laugh, slightly opening your eyes to meet your lover’s once again.
Astarion chuckles a bit at your response. His eyes look you over and a pleased expression forms on his face.
“Well, my dear, I’m glad I could be of service,” he says with a smirk before an inquisitive expression takes over.
“Y’know, truth be told, perhaps I missed my calling as a masseur…” his voice trails off as he briefly ponders the thought.
You giggle a bit, before turning to face him.
“Well…now it’s your turn.” you announce, as Astarion’s eyes widen in anticipation, once again being caught off guard by your forward demeanor.
Abruptly, you take the frilled collar of his white shirt into your hands, pulling him down towards the cushions with you.
You desperately wanted to return the favor.

this is so so optional but 🐖 for a character of your choice
Spitroasting Dolcetto! WAIT-
Ask Game for someone’s OCs
✨- How did you come up with the OC’s name?
Okay, this is going to be batshit, strap in. So anyone remember Fullmetal Alchemist? Anyone remember Greed's Posse of Chimeras? Remember how one of them was named Dolcetto? Yeah.
I was so obsessed with Greed and Dolcetto (another story, another OC entirely) that the name stuck with me. Once I had moved on from FMA and gotten into Hetalia, for some reason that name had stuck with me. Somewhere I had found out that it means "little sweet one" and thought 'Wouldn't that be a funny name for an angry, short character?'. I hadn't bothered to check at this stage whether any of the names I had salvaged from somewhere else were actually names. Sorry Dolco, teenage me was careless and now your parents named you after a grape.
🌼 - How old are they? (Or approximate age range)
Born 20th of May 1994. He's 19 in Italian Affairs, the first book of the mainstory he crops up in. He tends to be around that age for all AUs, too.
🌺- Do they have any love interest(s)?
The one and only motherfucker unlimited Francesco Belfari. Francesco is his first kiss, too, due to Dolcetto's atrocious social skills and thusly resulting disinterest in mingling with people.
🍕 - What is their favorite food?
He's a ghiottone! He has a sweet tooth and especially can't get his fill of chocolate!
💼 - What do they do for a living?
Babysitting Feli and being a ruthless bastard! Like many of my characters, he's part of the mob, in this case as a right hand of the Vargas' Bros.
🎹 - Do they have any hobbies?
Already answered here! However, I do want to draw attention to the tags by outright stating - I think wanking should count as a hobby when you are as horny and suppressed as this goblin.
🎯 -What do they do best?
Keeping others on track. Don't get me wrong, he is quite hot-headed and can lose sight of things that are important and chronically overworks himself, but he's a perfect fit as Feli's right hand for a reason. He truly is ruthless in the sense that he sees a way that goes from A to B and is not interested in any frilly side-adventures. He's dependable as all hell and while not as creative as the Bontade twins, actually a good match for them in terms of thinking on his feet.
🥊 -What do they love to do? What do they hate to do?
Francesco. He loves to see plan work out and reap the rewards. He loves to achieve either a physical feat (like rock-wall climbing and reaching the top) or a logistical one (getting one over the Bontades) and get a pat on the back. If it involves hurting people, so be it, good way to get his aggression out, if it involves hurting himself, all the more so be it.
He absolutely loathes having to play along to someone else's games. I bet you he's exploding everyone and himself internally every time he goes to France. At least the Germans are just either as awkward as he is, whatever Gilbert got going on or straight up assholes. He's not good at playing nice, he's not enjoying anyone's attention, he has no interest in being charming at all. He's that Francis Crozier at a party - "Tell us about birdshit island again, that's a capital story." It's the worst part about caring about Feliciano honestly, having to participate in what comes so easily to Franci and Feli.
❤️ - What is one of your OC’s best memories?
I think he does remember Gabriella very fondly from their childhood. And he also misses Venice sometimes, especially when the tourist crowds weren't around in the old city on rainy, gloomy days. Being landlocked in Rome makes him yearn for seaside.
✂️ - What is one of your OC’s worst memories?
Perhaps when he realized his parents don't care much for him. When they wouldn't intervene with the bullying at school, wouldn't help him much and reach out to him at all. When all his cries for help by acting out got him written off as never making something out of himself. He wasn't the 'little sweet one' they had hoped for, so he was on his own.
🧊 - Is their current design the first one?
Yep! Wiry, corkscrew curls, Short - always been my boooy.
🍀 - What originally inspired the OC?
Can't tell you for the life of me, honestly. It's been a long time ...
🌂 - What genre do they belong in?
He should have been in actual gritty gangster drama, to be honest. Not his clownshow, but he is still excelling at it. He's also slaying in nigh every historical AU I have, so he was just made for the drama.
💚 - What is your OC’s gender identity and sexuality?
Cis man and the flop bisexual nobody wants.
🙌 - How many sibling does your OC have?
One! His beloved older sister Gabriella, with who he has an absolutely terrible relationship for many years, because he's pushing her away to not hurt her and she keeps pulling him back so he won't hurt himself.
🍎 - What is the OC’s relationship w/their parents like?
Bad and now non-existent. As I said, the Acerbis (Martina and Bernardo) didn't really know how to handle Dolcetto after Gabriella was such a poster-child of success. They were probably also fairly conservative and saw Dolcetto as someone unwilling to work/who needed to straighten out. Honestly? Lie to them about the mob thing and hide her queerness, they'd take Gabriella back with open arms alongside with her well-to-do Milanese boyfriend. Dolcetto? If he wasn't dead to them before, he'd be now, queer troublemaker with a Neapolitan ne'er-do-well as a partner.
🧠 - What do you like most about the OC?
I like how much Dolcetto's heart is both in the right and the wrong place. He reminds me a lot of my younger self, hell, even of me now at times. He's so focused on having to be useful or otherwise no one will want to have him around that he's willing to destroy himself over it. He thinks if he's not delivering, no one would tolerate him. He IS a bastard, he IS callous often, but he does love and appreciate those around him and I love his journey recognizing that. I love that he finally gains self-worth and not just ego.
✏️ - How often do you draw/write about the OC?
Not as much as I'd like to! I recently drew a tiny headshot of him because I've watched Hazbin and he'd make an excellent exorcist - Plus I cannot resist anything where Dolcetto has a high social status that is yet precarious and along comes Francesco, completely untethered from societal opinion and completely fucking all that up for Dolcetto. But since I've been rewriting Irish Problems for two years now, baby boy isn't as present as I'd like him to be.
💎 - Do you ever see yourself killing off the OC?
I mean, I can't imagine Dolcetto growing old, but that's none of my business.
💀 - Does your OC have any phobias?
Nothing I can think of from the top of my head.
🍩 -Who is your OC’s arch-nemesis or rival?
Marco and Lorenzo! The Bontade twins are one year older than Dolcetto and very much everything he's not. Social butterflies, totally confident in all of their skills, completely sexually open ... To be fair, Dolcetto also looks down upon them and, much like his sister, finds them rather grating and more hot air than skill. In his eyes, with he entire Vargas-Vento rivalry creating this enmity in the first place, them seementitled to something that isn't theirs. So while these two are definitely bullying him, Dolcetto is absolutely not the bigger person. Marco: How could he be? Lorenzo: He'd need stilts!
🎓 - How long have you had the OC?
I was definitely still in middle school. So probably since 11 or 10 years, I don't know how quickly I came up with more characters to populate the LFLS world back then.
🍥 - What age were you when you created the OC?
14 or 15. Absolutely wild to think a 19 year old would be too much meaningfully different from his creator at that age. I'm six years older now than he is in IA.

-> note: deals with some of diluc's backstory (i may have gotten some aspects of it wrong but that's in order to insert the reader into it and have it make sense). also reader has a vision/weapon but i don't specify what element/type they are
Tumblr media
rain pours from the sky, muddying your boots as you walk along the dirt path. it was likely that the thunder and lightning would start soon, making you hurry your steps. you were on a journey from the city of mondstadt to liyue harbor. the trip would overall take four days (and another four back)– though the current weather would delay your travel by some time. unfortunately, this stretch of road had almost no places to take up shelter in. having just come from springvale, it'd take some time until you reached any other people. especially consider the next inhabited place you'd get to would be dawn winery. if there wasn't any lightning by the time you made it there, you reasoned with yourself, you'd keep going right past it. of course, the weather was not in your favor.
lightning began to strike, making you jump at the volume. huffing, you pull your cart of belongings behind you, trying to trudge faster through the soggy ground. the wheels bump through stray rocks, exerting much of your energy to keep it on track. you emerge through the heavy covering of trees to come face to face with the dawn winery. warm lights flood from the window panes, looking welcoming. still, it brought a tinge of nausea to your stomach. would it be worth it to knock on the door and see if they had a spare room? you figured the chances of diluc being there were low, and trying to hunker down and make your own shelter would likely result in some sort of injury to yourself. plus, adelinde was always extremely kind, so surely she'd allow you to stay at least until the rain passed. sighing, you clumsily heave the cart up the stone steps to the front door. knocking, you immediately hear steps making their way over, opening the door.
you fumble around with the items in your cart to avoid looking at her, embarrassed at your current predicament. "miss adelinde, i apologize for the sudden intrusion. is it possible i could come inside until the rain passes?" a long pause of silence follows your question. growing slightly irritated, you look up. "sorry, if i can't stay-"
oh.
"diluc." you mutter, feeling as if your luck's growing worse by the minute.
"(name)," he says, eyes boring into yours. "it's been quite some time. i'll call for adelinde to bring you in. leave your cart outside, it'll be taken care of."
"actually, i think i'll be on my way," you mumble, waving him off. "sorry to have bothered you."
"don't be foolish," his voice is stern, quickly taking hold of your wrist as you turn away. "there's no shelter for miles. it's not safe for you to be out."
"fine. only until the weather eases, then i'll be out of your way." you sigh, letting go of the cart's handle and allowing yourself to be gently tugged indoors. finally shielded from the rain, you notice how drenched your clothes are. a sudden chill runs up your spine, hugging your arms close to yourself.
"i'll have adelinde fetch you some clothes." those are the last words you hear from diluc as he shuts the door behind you and disappears further into the winery.
you let your eyes wander through the scenery, taking in the warm candlelight. the rug below you starting to soak up the drops of water that cascade off of you. part of you feels guilty, wondering if it'd damage the fabric in any significant way. almost every item in this place cost more mora than you'd see in your lifetime. multiple lifetimes, really.
as if she read your mind, adelinde is quick to speak up when she sees you. "don't worry about getting anything wet," she says, handing you a fluffy towel. "i assure you we can pay for any necessary repairs. just pat yourself down, then i'll escort you to the bath where you can wash and change."
"and where will i be staying?" you inquire, hands working to dry off any excess rain.
adelinde takes the towel from you, dabbing off a few places you couldn't reach.
"well…" she mumbles, eyes downcast as she fiddles with the towel in her hands. "since this is such short notice, we are unable to have a spare room prepared for you. we currently have some family of staff staying as guests, so…"
"so i can't stay?" you ask, worried about where you'll go for the night.
"you'll have to spend the night in master diluc's room, i'm afraid." her voice is nervous, treading lightly as if on eggshells.
you sigh, shaking your head with a clenched jaw. "i won't like it, but as it's only for one night i'll just have to make do. i appreciate that you've done what can be done, at least." despite your feelings towards diluc, there was no reason for you to harbor any ill will towards adelinde.
"i see. come, your bath should be drawn by now. i've arranged it so that spare clothes will be ready for you there as well." she takes you by the elbow, guiding you throughout the manor. you watch the walls pass by, noting how little had changed since you were last here. it left a somber ache in your chest, choosing instead to keep your eyes towards your feet. adelinde quickly ushers you into a fanciful bathroom, bubbly water steaming in a pristine tub.
"you can leave your clothes in here once you're finished, i'll collect them and make sure they're clean for you in the morning," she points towards a basket in the corner of the room. "conveniently, we found some of your old sleep clothes here from… well, anyway, i'll be outside. just knock when you've finished washing and dressing. i'll bring you to diluc's room."
"i know how to get there, you can go if you have other duties. i don't mind taking myself there." you say, knowing the way to his room was practically etched into your memory.
"of course. take care, (name)." she bows, curtsying her uniform and stepping out of the bathroom.
you start to peel the wet clothes off, fabric clinging to your cold skin. clumping them together into the basket, you finally submerge yourself into the warm bath water. the gentle scent of lavender wafts throughout the room, calming your anxiety ridden thoughts. diluc was right. it had been quite some time since you'd last seen each other, much less last time you actually spoke to each other. your life now consisted of frequently avoiding his tavern and the winery as a whole, so any chances of stumbling upon each other were slim. no matter how much the citizens of mondstadt would try to drag you to a tavern, you always insisted against it. truthfully, it had become a bit exhausting. this whole time trying to convince yourself you didn't care about what happened between you two… would you be acting this way if you really didn't care?
shaking yourself out of your thoughts again, you focus on scrubbing the rainwater off of you. combing your nails through your scalp, you sigh at the cleansing feeling of the shampoo. rinsing any suds off yourself, you hurry to dry and redress yourself. maybe ridiculous, but you felt if you went through the motions faster that the night would end and you could be on your way. clothed, you find yourself almost trembling as you open the door, thrust back into the reality of where you were.
the hallway rug is soft beneath your bare feet, comforting you as you close the bathroom door. your body is on autopilot as you head to diluc's room, hand coming up to gently knock at his door. his room is secluded, far off in the back of the manor. that fact used to bring you a sense of relief– the sense that it was just you and him. now, the thought made you a bit anxious. no, you weren't scared of diluc himself, rather, the confrontation that was sure to occur. you shift your weight between your feet, patiently waiting for diluc to either tell you to come in or open the door himself.
moments later, the door opens to reveal diluc. he's shed himself of his normal attire, adorned in his sleepwear. he clears his throat, eyes trailing over your frame as he inspects your own clothing. it was a matching pair that kaeya had gifted to you to give to diluc, as a joke. he had given it to you with a smile, mentioning something about you two being lovebirds. the memory stung a bit now, having been replaced with kaeya's sympathetic gazes towards you. diluc shuffles around, holding the door open and gesturing you inside. much like the other rooms of the manor, not much had changed. he watched as your eyes roamed the room, landing on a few picture frames upon his nightstand. one of crepus, and one of the two of you together. you turn to him, mouth opening to question him about it. the question dies in your throat, mouth closing as your thoughts run wild.
"(name)..." his whisper is raspy, reaching out. when his fingers brush across your arm, he almost winces at the touch. shocked that you're really there. pulling back, he breaks eye contact. "i won't force you, but we really should talk."
"i'm not sure there’s much left to say." you blatantly lie, fully aware that he can tell.
"even if that were true for you, it certainly isn't for me," he says, hand falling to the small of your back as he gestures for you to sit at the edge of his bed. across the room, he moves to sit on a sofa, facing you. "i've had lots of time to think about what happened."
you scoff at his words, crossing your arms. "so have i. four years of thinking, actually."
he nods, yet doesn't say anything. you assume he expects you to continue, so you do.
"you didn’t tell me you were leaving. not even a letter goodbye," your voice is immediately wobbly upon recalling the events. "you didn't write to me a single time. all i had to get by were vague hints that you were alive from kaeya. it seems that you wrote to everyone except me. it's not that i don't understand why you left, i do. and i don't have any resentment for you leaving. i know i would've done the same. but… i would've supported you, diluc. so why didn't you let me? why'd you have to push me away?” your voice gets hoarse, throat rough with emotion. your fists curl into the fabric of your sleepwear, shutting your eyes tight to ignore the urge to cry.
you hear him sigh, the creak of the sofa alerting that he's stood up. he makes his way over to you, sitting down. your legs touch, a faint hint of heat in your cheeks. it had been so long, yet still he made you feel shy somehow. his hand comes to rub at your back, the warmth of his skin seeping through the thin fabric of the button up. he always ran hot, something that brought you a lot of comfort. after spending the night in the rain, you could feel yourself leaning into the feeling.
"it wasn't that i didn't want you, nothing like that," he says, gaze fixed on you. "i was dealing with dangerous people. even i barely escaped death a few times. if i had written to you, or you to me, and one of my letters were to get intercepted? if they learned who you were to me? i wouldn't be able to forgive myself if something happened to you due to my actions. i couldn't let you get hurt. why i left was entirely related to what happened before. i… care for you a great deal. please understand." diluc wasn't one to lie about something like this. he was raised to be an honest, good man, and he never strayed from that. even with your history, you could tell his words were sincere.
"diluc… as i've already said, i do understand why you left," you say, looking up at him. "i have my own vision, and i'm more than capable of handling my weapon. do you really think that i couldn't handle myself if someone were to go after me? kaeya told me some of what you dealt with. traveling teyvat, going into snezhnaya, fighting fatui. i've had my fair share of run-ins with their agents. i'm still here.”
"i don't think you're weak at all," he's quick to say, understanding your insecurities with your strength. "i, perhaps foolishly, thought that these actions would leave you the most unscathed. i was dealing with one of the highest echelons of the fatui, i didn't want… i didn't want them to use you against me, or mondstadt, even. after the things that happened with my father, i became even more protective of the places and the people that i… love." you can see the way he gulps, looking away once he finishes his sentence.
you blink, trying to process his words. of course, before his departure, you had been together. you two were much younger back then, not having the courage to speak those words– 'i love you' was not necessarily a need when it showed endlessly in your care towards each other.
"do… you still feel that way?" you ask, voice timid.
"protective? or the other thing?" he nudges his shoulder against you, a teasing lilt to his voice.
"diluc," you groan, exasperated. "you know what i meant."
he laughs, a deep chuckle from his chest. the hand on your back trails upwards, cupping your cheek in his palm. his thumb caresses the skin there. "to answer your question, yes. i do still feel that way." his voice is breathy, barely reaching your ears.
swallowing thickly, you fiddle with your hands in your lap. "i think… i do too. even when you left, i was upset, but… i was worried most of all," you sniffle, a tear dropping down to diluc's thumb. you can feel him tremble, frowning at the sight. "i thought i'd never see you again. i know you're strong, and so, so capable, but… it felt like every day i had to grapple with the fact you might be dead. so when you came back, i wasn't ready to process that you were alive."
"i'm sorry." diluc says, heavy with regret.
"don't apologize," you shake your head, hand coming up to wrap around his wrist that's holding your cheek. turning your head, you let your lips press against his palm. "i understand now why you did what you did. i'm sorry it took so long for us to talk about it."
a blush settles on his face, the red practically glowing in the lamplight of his room. despite his flustered state, he doesn't look away or move his hand. "what happens now?"
"well, tomorrow i have to set off for my journey to liyue once more. when i return, perhaps we could spend some time together?" you tell him, trying to not be too forward or rush headfirst into anything.
"i think that's an excellent idea," he finally removes his hand from your face, standing up from the bed. "i'll put out the lanterns, i believe it's time for us to rest. you have a long expedition ahead of you."
"i know," you exaggerate a sigh, flopping back against the bed. "almost a whole week and a half without me, whatever shall you do?"
he laughs, shaking his head. "yes, it will be terribly long without you." he falls forward, laying next to you, gently slinging an arm over your waist.
blushing at the close contact, you put a hand on his chest to keep some space between you two. "you've gone longer without me, haven't you?"
"yes," diluc sighs, a hint of sorrow behind it. "but now that i know you're here once more? now that we know of each other's true feelings… it seems even more difficult to not be beside you."
"i'm sure you'll manage," you mumble, arms wrapping around his neck to ruffle into his hair. "though i wouldn't mind company during my travels, at least until i'm out of mondstadt."
his eyes widen briefly, a subtle smile making its way onto his face. "i'm sure that could be arranged. that's not too long that it'll disrupt any of my personal duties." he leans forward, pressing a kiss to your forehead.
"seems like you're feeling affectionate." you say, secretly thrilled to be so close to him again.
"forgive me," he mumbles, sheepish. "i've had many dreams like this. of you coming back to me. i suppose i'm eager to see you… and to feel you near me."
"dreams?" you ask, curious.
"don't tease, but yes," using his strength he pulls you even closer to him, relishing in the warmth. "like i said, i care for you deeply. i've always wanted to be with you. it seems even my dreams were aware of that fact."
"i hope that having me back is better than your dreams, then," you turn to your side to face him, bringing your arm around him to place a hand between his shoulder blades. "i have longed to feel you near me as well, diluc."
he hums, chest rumbling against you. "tomorrow, when we wake, if you'll let me… i'd like to kiss you. for now, i'd like to keep you warm throughout the night." he noses at the juncture of your neck, tickling the skin there with his breath.
you nod, already feeling the drowsiness settle into your bones as you lay together. "it's been a while since i've slept this warmly. i'm happy to have you here, diluc." you tell him, your whisper fading into the night.

Persephone
drew starkey x fem!reader
part of the college baseball au ( the breakup part 3) pt 1 , pt 2
warnings: alcohol consumption, angst?
Tumblr media
Late April (almost 2 months after the breakup)
Drew sits at the bar, feeling empty no matter how hard he tries to fill himself up on overpriced alcohol. He should be the happiest he’s ever been- he got recruited by his dream team and spent the day visiting the city he will soon call home, but his happiness was sinking by the minute. He tries not to think about how downtrodden you sounded on the phone when he called to tell you about his recruitment (out of habit). He honestly didn’t expect you to answer the phone, but when you did, the good news just spewed out from his mouth. He barely had enough time to hear your sniffles. He tried asking what was wrong but you kept insisting that you were fine. You just congratulated him on his good news, he knew it was forced, though.
There was something wrong, but he just couldn’t find it in himself to get you to crack and tell him. It felt out of place for him to do that, so he swallowed his worry and chalked up your sadness to something that may have been going on in your life. It drove him crazy that he didn’t know what was going on in your life.
“Drowning your sorrows, too?” Drew hears a voice next to him ask.
He turns to see who it is and it’s a tall brunette with the bluest eyes he’s ever seen. Even more blue than his. She has long, beach waves and a septum piercing. Her skin was flawless. A woman many men would dream about.
“Not necessarily,” Drew mutters back.
“Hmmm… so you’re just drinking about two beers every 30 minutes for fun?” Says the girl.
“You keeping an eye on me?”
“No. I just notice a lot of things. I also know that drinking as much as you are is because you’re trying to forget something,” the girl retorted.
Drew just hums, not wanting the girl to know that she was absolutely correct.
She squints her eyes, trying to get a better read on him. She notices the bags under his eyes and the lack of color in his skin.
“Who is she?” The girl asks.
“Why do want to know?” Drew asks.
“Just want to know more about why you’re here.”
“You don’t even know my name. I don’t even know yours, and you want to know about why I’m here,” drew laughs sarcastically.
“Persephone,” the girl finally introduces herself. She holds out her hand for Drew to shake it.
“Uncommon name,” Drew points out.
“Uncommon parents. What’s your name?”
“Drew.”
“And who’s the girl that has you in here when you’re wishing you were with her?”
“Y/n. And I don’t wish I was with her.”
“You don’t?” Persephone asks, knowing he is lying.
“No.”
Persephone lets the conversation die. She knows when not to claw too deep. She orders two shots, sliding one over to drew. He takes it without hesitation. They sit in silence for about 10 minutes.
“You’re right,” Drew says lowly.
“What was that?” Persephone has to resist the urge to smirk.
“I do wish I was with y/n.”
“Then why aren’t you with her?”
“We broke up. Plus, I’m an asshole who doesn’t really deserve her.”
“But you love her?”
“I do. So much.” Drew admits.
“Then you should be with her,” Persephone states.
“It’s not that simple.”
“Sure it is. You go to her and tell her everything that’s buried in your heart. Bare your soul to her.”
“You don’t get it.”
“Drew! You love her, then go get her. It is that simple. Be completely honest. Get her to be honest with you. If it’s meant to be, you will end up together. If it’s not, then at least you got everything off your chest.”
“I don’t know how to get her to open up to me anymore,” Drew says bitterly.
“Yes you do. I’m sure you’ve done it before. Dig down in your head and remember all the times you’ve gotten her to open up to you. It’ll all come rushing back to you.”
“Why’re you helping me?”
“Love deserves to be shared and felt. I want people to experience love,” Persephone says.
“Do you love someone?”
“Myself.”
“Is that enough?” Drew questions.
“It is for now.”
They sit in silence for a while, but Drew ends up breaking it again.
“I’m going to get y/n back! I need to book a flight back home like now,” Drew realizes that he’s probably had too much to drink.
“Sober up first.”
Drew drowns a cup of water every 20 minutes, wanting to sober up as soon as possible. When he finally feels like he can function properly, he gathers his belonging and heads back to his hotel to pack up and head to the airport.
Before he actually leaves the bar, he turns to Persephone for one last request.
“Can I have your phone number?”
“Ummm… why?” Persephone was a bit thrown off by his question.
“So I can tell you how things turn out,” Drew answers.
Persephone smiles at his sweetness, hoping and praying that he gets his happiness back. She sends him off with her phone number, wishing that when she does receive a text from him, it’s because he’s happy.
a/n: This is the third part of the breakup! I hope you all enjoy; there will be more!

Note
I’m thinking something along the lines of Alec being a little more eldritch being linked to the institute, and along with some issue of his siblings backing clary gets him super pissed at everyone always trying to use and take advantage of him and his connection to the Magnus Bane. Maybe seeing some BAMF Alec showing off the power
so just because of how the clave is, i feel like alec is keeping a lot of his power under wraps until he has a really good reason to use it in an obvious way. this went a little sideways from the prompt but i hope you enjoy it!
lumine
uh minor psychological and physical torture? just to be safe
ripples of magic
-
Things have changed, from the moment Alec shared his energy with Magnus, he knew they had been. While he can normally keep a tight grip on the Institute, it’s never been the same for Magnus’ wards and magic. Which, while distracting had never been a true problem when they’d only been curious about him. Now however, they’ve claimed him as one of Magnus’ and what was once mere curiosity is now a covetous presence nearly as devious as the Institute.
It means that Alec’s concentration is always wavering, being caught between his normally tightly wielded control and now being constantly surprised — ambushed — by warm flirtatious magic.
It means that by the time he finally gets rid of all the clave’s spies — the Institute may have sent the last three envoys into comas when they tried to question Alec — the magic and the Institute have started to work together.
Against him.
So when Clary — because Alec can’t keep calling her by her last name or his hunters will never treat her with anything but disdain — disobeys him again. Well, Alec sighs and buries his face in his hands and just tries to breathe and lets the wards press soothingly warm magic along his sore muscles.
It also means that he can claim to be conveniently distracted until he hears the comms reporting that she’s down.
Clary doesn’t know what happened, or where she went the wrong way.
The Institute’s normally wide and bright hallways are dark and narrow and she turns, hoping to go back the way she came and instead she screams, her palms coming up just in time to scrape against rough stone.
Blood drips down her palms and Clary stares at her smarting skin, heart thudding dully in her own ears.
If she hadn’t been runed she would have broken her nose or give herself a concussion… however what stalls her thoughts is that the wall wasn’t there before.
It’s with terror that she snaps around, palms out for protection and she gives a little sigh of relief when she sees the way in front is still clear and oh… she snorts and wipes her palms on her pants.
She must have turned a corner without realizing it, she thinks as she sees the narrow passage she thought was behind her. It looks strange, some deep instinct uncomfortable with the way the lights flicker and the shadows loom. This is the darkest Clary’s ever seen any part of the Institute get besides Jace’s room and the archives.
It reminds her of the Silent City and she shivers, something primal telling her to watch herself, that here she is prey.
Clary pushes those thoughts away stubbornly. She’s in the Institute, not the Silent City and she wants those books on necromancy. She needs them, more than anything and Alec doesn’t understand.
Sure he caught the demon, but he didn’t catch it before Clary’s mom was killed. He couldn’t protect Clary’s mom and now he’s stonewalling her. Not letting her find out ways to save her.
Clary bets it’s because of Magnus. Magnus probably got to Alec first and he ruined Clary’s chances of getting the HOTI of New York to help her. Alec’s reputation is growing and Clary knows it could have gotten her somewhere, anywhere.
Which leads her here. Trying desperately to break into the locked archives that only a few have access too. There’s no way Alec will give her access online. She has the same clearance as a trainee which is basically none and it grates on her, to be so confined and denied.
Her shoulder catches, a painful burn and tug and Clary scoffs out a breathe before she realizes her shirt and skin caught on a jagged tear of stone.
The Institute walls are smooth as hard silk, no matter where she’s gone and she swallows and pushes down the instincts screaming at her to run.
This just means she’s close.
Clearly this is a sign of secrecy and disuse which must mean she’s near where the oldest libraries and archives are kept — is what she tells herself.
She runs her raw fingertips over the sting and bites her lip, jutting her chin forward and straightening her spine. She’s going too fast. She’ll do what Luke always tells her, to take a breathe and —
Clary swallows the breathe she was trying to take and shudders.
The very air around her is crystallizing.
The air she breathed out hung like snowflakes and then fell, tiny particles shattering like miniature icicles.
When she swallows, it feels like a thousand small cuts. As if she’s drank a mouthful of crushed glass.
It’s cold.
It’s so, very, very cold and Clary has never had a problem with the cold, but she finds its almost impossible to move. To take even a small step as she shivers, teeth chattering as a brisk draft of air tickles past.
It feels like she’s suddenly been caught outside, unprepared for a winter storm and Clary shakes, wondering why the Institute suddenly feels hostile, like a force of nature that no one can control.
But she’s not.
She’s in a little corridor what feels like miles and miles beneath the Institute and she shudders, gasping as she tries to move and her shuddering muscles refuse, as if the cold is keeping them too tightly bound to listen.
Clary tries to brace herself against the wall but it burns — a cold so deep it scalds her — and she slides down to the floor, shaking fingers digging into her jacket.
If she’s crying she doesn’t know, the tears frozen before they can fall.
Security finds her still on the first level, her cold body lying in the middle of a wide, brightly lit hall. There is frost on her blue lips and her fingertips are more purple than pink. When they try to rune her for healing, the fire of the magic sputters like a match in a gale and then stops.
When Alec finally gets there, he looks at her body with a roll of his eyes and orders her on the stretcher that followed him.
“Take her to the greenhouse, the warmest one.” Alec orders and when he’s been obeyed, all of them gone he shakes his head and even though he’s in the middle of the hall, he leans back.
The lights brighten and flicker, overlapping circles of bright, silver-blue echo the same flicker in his own eyes. The shadows stretch ominously and Alec lets himself fall back into one.
A smooth wall meets his muscles and cradles him there, cool fondness pulsating through him from the magical transference as the memories of the halls become his own.
“Nicely done.” Alec murmurs and he brushes his knuckles fondly at the wall supporting him and the ward magick that tangles with his skin before wistfully pulling away.

Welcome To The Tournament!
This blog is exclusively to run the Ultimate Showdown of Ultimate Destiny Tournament based on Lemon Demon's song sharing the same name! This post is to straighten out the rules and details to hopefully avoid too many questions.
How the bracket order was picked out:
I did my best to do the pairings based on the order which the character first appears in the song. All of the characters in the song are fighting against each other in the first round with the exception of Monty Python's Black Knight, as we're having a mini-round with him in order to let the two Gandalfs duke it while still keeping the number of brackets enough to make sure everyone has a match. The other exception is Mr. Rogers, as he won in the original song, and I am putting him in the third round to give some other fighters a chance to fight without his interference with the polls.
How the character versions were picked out:
I knew that there would be fights and questions with many of these characters if I left what version was fighting ambiguous, so I looked around for the most well-known versions of these characters, favoring the versions which are most popular in their respective fandoms. Believe it or not, I'm not in every fandom ever, so I apologize if you don't agree with my picks. Similarly, the strengths and weaknesses are gotten from the specific version's character Fandom Wikipedia page. I apologize if I got any strengths and weaknesses wrong. The exception to this 'only one version of the characters' rule is the Power Rangers, as the song specifies "Every Single Power Ranger" Therefore I did not want to exclude any versions. I got the help of a friend to understand the Power Rangers MO and try to balance their strengths and weaknesses to make sure they didn't roll over everyone else in this tournament.
What age are they?
Some of these characters are still living or quite old, and some characters' ages fluctuate throughout their media. Because of this, I am making a blanket statement that all of these characters are fighting during the prime of their careers.
Where are they?
Based on the opening line of the song, all of the characters will be fighting in Tokyo City Earth, they are allowed to leave this starting location as much as they are able.
Motivation?
There is no specific motivation for all of these characters, other than they were placed in Tokyo and have sufficient incentive to fight each other. For example, Superman could think that his opponent is a threat to Earth, Terminator could think his opponent is trying to stop his mission to kill Sarah, etc. However, characters with moral backbones will still follow their moral codes, and a character wins a fight if either A. They kill the other character or B. They convince the other character to not fight.
Poll Logistics
I know it will be impossible to make these fights truly unbiased, but I want for as many people as possible, for them to vote based on who they think would win in a fight, not who they like most. Otherwise, the final results will be based on who has the biggest fandom. What I want from this tournament is silly arguments about how these characters would fight each other, not a survey on who people like more. Every poll will last a day and each round will happen with every pairing going up against each other in the same day. However, the next round may not happen immediately after the last one. I'll try my best to be on top of it, communicate if and when the next round will be, etc. But I'm just a humble college student and I don't want to make this tournament a part-time job
Bias
I am not in all of these fandoms, but I am in some, and I also want to engage with people in the comments. However, I do not want to skew results. So I am not going to reblog posts encouraging people to vote for one character or the other, but if any cool fanart comes out I will be reblogging that. I will also be chatting with people in the notes, but not reblogging anyone to chat so it doesn't show up on the blog page.
Finally, every poll will be tagged with the characters in them, which means this poll will be showing up in a lot of different fandoms. It is not my intention to annoy people by popping up in their feeds when they just want to look at fanart or fan posts. Therefore I'm tagging every post of mine #USOUD Tournament and #Ultimate Showdown of ultimate destiny. If you don't want to see me ever again, block those tags.
Happy fighting!
