NOW! Hear me out yandere vash {maybe throw in knives as the second yandere because may the reader show him human kindness or something like that} with reader like at first it's like a strange feeling to vash like ick but it started getting worse and worsening by time he know it his overprotective & possessive/obsessive over the reader and the rest is to you {And to throw in more drama to the flame make the reader related wolfwood so we have overprotective big brother! 👍} {+F!reader before I forget}
what's up!!
Now, yandere isn't my thing really..... but eh, who cares! Might as well get out of my box now and again:
Vash:
first are the thoughts. Like, he's thinking about you at all hours of the day. Food -- would you like if he got some for you? Sleep -- how are you sleeping? Are you cold or alone? Even in battle when he should be worrying about himself or others, he's only like where is she is she safe what if someone kidnaps her or takes her hostage I gotta find her help I'm fighting three bounty hunters and can't focus
At first he's a little put off because he has other things on his mind: his brother, saving the world, and staying alive, he doesn't have time for wandering thoughts. And like, why you? What is it about you that's special to him? why does he care what he does around you, or how he looks? Why is he insisting you put your tent next to his? Why does he want to offer the last bit of his food to make sure you're full? Why does he feel like he needs to see if his hair is the right kind of messy in any mirror he can find?
All it took was one time for you to wear his coat and do the dinosaur arms as a joke and Vash is gone. Now he does whatever he can to get and keep you in it: are you cold? You look cold, take my coat. It's sunny out, you should wear it to keep from getting sunburned. It restricts me, here, hold onto it for me. Oh, but I think you look so good in red. He daydreams about you in his coat. Maybe in only his coat.
It makes him feel like he's somehow got you wrapped up under his protection even if it's not really him exactly. Protective instincts go bbrrrrrrr
What was once a silly little quirk he had toward you has developed into a borderline problem. By now, he goes absolute gunslinger mode whenever someone tries to hurt you. He's pistol-whipping a guy across the face or shooting their weapon out of their hand before they can flinch or, if things get really spicy, he's even shoved the barrel into the mouth of a few guys, asking them to beg and swallow
And as Wolfwood's little sister, you bet your booty Nick and Vash are at each other's throats usually. Nick is being protective, but he also is genuinely creeped out by the way Vash looks at you. . . like he wants to devour you. More than once Vash has gotten on his last nerve and suddenly there's a six-foot-tall cross-shaped Gatling gun stabbed into the ground between you and Vash as some kind of barrier. Want a few extra holes, needle-noggin?
You've been the one unsullied thing in Nick's twisted, disgraceful life and he ain't about to let you out of his sight any time soon.
The one time they reconcile their differences is if someone manages to mess with you. Then it's on sight: Nick's got the high ground, Vash has the low ground, and suddenly the perpetrator-turned-victim has a gun to both his head and his kneecaps, or, if he's especially smarmy, right on his unmentionables. Their teamwork is breathtaking when they try.
You're the only one that can get them to back off or chill out, whether it be to strangers or each other. Occasionally Vash is so devoted and Nick is so belligerent that they end up in a flurry of fists and kicks in the sand, but in the end, they know when it comes down to it, they can rely on each other when it comes to you.
Kni
I'm not much into Kni, but I'll do my best
Doesn't like when you call him Knives. Everyone else has to, but you? NO. Kni is Kni is Kni, not Knives or Millions or psycho or anything else.
You get free reign of the entire complex. Ultimate security clearance.
Everyone knows not to step on your toes or Kni will see to it they aren't a problem for you anymore.
One time, you get roughed up by some underling and end up flat on your stomach on the ground. You try to get up, to fight back, but suddenly several bladed whips have dug into the ground around you, caging you in and protecting you from harm. You look over your shoulder to see Kni, positively bristling with anger.
Loves to run his knife-whip-things over your body. He'd never hurt you with them, he just likes touching you; using his own hands and arms feels too human.
Yeah. That's what I got. Hope you like!

10 years of elite dangerous!
game is 10 years old now! and even tho i haven't played in a good year or two, i did used to invest most of college into the game AND i was a backer. I wanna ramble about my journey below the cut but first. Frontier sent me an email with my backer account's stats! which is really interesting!
Tumblr media
So before i do a big ramble below the cut, i want everyone to know that i'm in the top 0.1% of people who fly a hauler in the past 10 years. so take that! (for those who don't play this is like the third cheapest ship and considered by many the worst or a taxi to get to your better ships)
Thanks for reading my ramble! I wanna tell you my storyyyyyyyy So at first i must tell you just how big of a game this was for me. just like minecraft! I was really into space back then and i saw a video by scott manley about this new game on kickstarter which allowed you to fly to earth and had promises to allow you to fly inside a 1:1 scale of our universe! billions of stars! And how realistic the flight model was and how guuuuuud the sounds were. Right after that video i asked my mom if she could buy it for me with me paying her back later. I'm telling you i was HOOKED at the tutorial, in my tiny sidewinder. I saw the weapons pop out and the gatling gun ooohhh the sounds. and just how big the space stations were and detailed! I'll never forget that. I even have an accidental screenshot of it on a harddrive somewhere. I remember my first jump to another start system, i had my curtains closed and my speakers set a bit louder and i was just like, this is giving me goosbumps this is epic!
Tumblr media
(the screenshot in question circa 2014) So what did i do after everything was explained to me by the tutorial? I started bounty hunting! And after the game released later in 2014, I got my kickstarter reward of a free eagle fighter (second cheapest ship in the game) And went back to bounty hunting! I dreamt of owning the biggest ship in the game, The Anaconda. But each ship kill was about 3k credits for me back then. And i had school and played minecraft and call of duty with friends so i didn't get the conda many years later. But i had so much fun! I ended up flying in a cobra mk3 for most of my time back then. Then around 2017 I met an artist friend online who also played! which was my first multiplayer experience in elite. I had just done the Sothis/Ceos runs which allowed me to get a python haha. For those who remember hauling biowaste back then due to the mission reward bug being insane, 07 to you!
Tumblr media
(my biowaste luxery vessel circa 2017)
Later i remember hauling passengers with some friends i made after joining a community for the first time and that gave me so much money (another mission reward bug after the biowaste got patched) that i finally was able to just buy every ship in the game! I went and grinded all the millitary ranks to get both a federal corvette and an imperial cutter. And i was set for life! I got an exploration ship to go to the galactic core which was about 8 hours of realtime pressing J to jump to another star haha, it got so boring after a while! i wanted to return to combat but i had to fly all the way back too! (netted me so much money tho from selling star data oh lordy! i had about 1 billion credits and if you remember the anaconda i wanted years ago that one is about 120 million)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
(my imperial cutter and federal corvette(The cutter costed me about 1.2 billion if i remember correctly)) In my last year of elite before i quit that account (due to drama in the player group i was in, i won't say too much but it was baaaad). I got really into mining, combat had grown stale, hunting aliens got too easy. I was basically sitting still in a difficult spot and had the ship on turret mode and was able to make lunch and come back victorious. I liked seeing the little mining drones pick up ores and put them into my ship! Also back then it was the most profitable thing you could do. But after you have everything, and so much money that you don't know what to do with it. What do you do? I bought a hauler as a joke. It was known as a meme ship. And i had some laughs! I went to a hauler meetup with a few players, Went to community missions and gave people free stuff and repairs. Even went to the galactic core again in it! And it was around that time that i realized that the hauler is actually the best ship in the game! Everything you do in it is a challenge, you have to carefully build it for a specific job. It dies super easily in combat and you only have 1 small weapon to give it. Making every encounter a fun and skillfull engagement. This post loops back to one of my previous blog posts about how space sandbox games like this reflect real life. When i started out, i want to have it all! big moneys, big ships. but in the end? I just want to do my favorite activities in a small starter boat that i love way more than anything in the entire game! Like i said, i stopped playing on that acount years ago after a falling out with a friendgroup, and after epic offered the game for free! bought the odyssey expansion on there and now i have an alt acount where i just fly a hauler on every once in a while. Doing combat or mining or sometimes trading. Thanks Elite for being probably one of my top 3 games ever! Maybe i'll install it again to fly in my ship some more. Thanks for reading and before i go have some pictures of my hauler.

Let's continue week two of MetalGreyMonth by evolving some MetalGreymons! It's WarGreymon XWV!
I have wanted to design this Digimon for forever, but I wanted to have both Greymon and Mailbirdramon physically in hand before I tackled it so I had a perfect understanding how its combination works.
While I had a good deal of this combination already worked out, there were a few things that came to me as I was trying to design it. Firstly was the head, as I knew I wanted to add a bottom jaw, reminiscent of the original WarGreymon, but the idea of attaching the "goggles" that expose the eyes to that lower jaw was a newer idea. I also always had issues imagining what to do with the backpack and how it'd clash with the shield wings. I eventually decided to use the WaruMonzaemon backpack to turn it into a horizontal flight pack similar to Brigadramon. I was also tempted to turn WaruMonzaemon's claw arm into a gatling gun to complete the idea, but I felt like that would stray too far away from WarGreymon.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Perhaps I'll revisit this idea with a different Monzaemon variant later. But I do wonder if that would have been the better call. My one concern with this design is perhaps I stuck too close to WarGreymon and didn't deviate enough. When I look at the MetalGreymons next to each other, there are a lot of differences, from the head design, to adding thigh armor, to the very different backpack. While my WarGreymon has very different shapes, it doesn't deviate very far in terms of concept, with all of its interesting elements being holdovers from MailBirdramon. So I think I can safely say that this is a V1, and I will revisit it on a later day when I'll hopefully get a little closer to my ideal.
But for now, it's onto the next redesign, this time on a more personal level, as next week we'll be tackling version 2 of my own BoostKabuterimon!

Why Ninja Clash in the Land of Snow is a Good Movie
I've said a lot in my essays and on here, and I will continue to say a lot, about how many of the Naruto and Shippuden movies are terrible. But I'm not hating on all of them. There are a few that really hold up.
The first movie, Ninja Clash in the Land of Snow, is one of those few.
Let's go over why it works.
For one, it's early in the timeline and Team Seven hasn't broken up. That's always nice. For two, it shows the team working together, shows off Sasuke's talents with things other than his Sharingan, and also shows off Sakura's skills, too. Not anything super flashy, but it's there. That's another plus.
The movie even shows a little bit of genuine teamwork between Sasuke and Sakura against the Snow ninja. No "you're annoying, Sakura." No fawning from her. No leaving her on the backburner like in the Hidden Waterfall OVA.
Seriously, it's at the 1 hour and 7 minute mark. Sasuke asks Sakura how close the enemy ninja are, she gives him and answer, and even where to aim. He sets up a wire trap, Sakura uses explosive tags to take down one enemy and blow the one who is gliding right into the trap. The two of them are working together like a real team.
Maybe I'm forgetting something, but as far as I can remember, those two working together like that in a combat situation is really rare. Simple, but effective.
In this movie, Fire Country has a film industry. We also see examples of high technology like cars and trains and even kunai Gatling guns. And is this story breaking?
No.
The kunai Gatling gun is odd, but it's a way to keep to the "no firearms" rule and also get creative. I like it. Sure, it doesn't appear outside the movie, but that can just mean it's not a common weapon, and that's fine. The existence of trains is odd, but it is confined to the country and it just furthers the debate on the development of technology in this world.
And there is a discussion to be had on technology. I'll be doing something on that one of these days. The series has already show the existence of power lines and vending machines right off the bat, if I am remembering right, not to mention wearable radios. The Chunin Exams had VHS tapes.
I will give you one thing, the existence of cars is strange. Those cars were used by the Fire Country film crew, and cars are a technological leap that comes after trains. So...maybe that one can be mentally edited out.
Ultimately, the cars are a very small detail and doesn't hurt the movie too much. While they're used to travel around the Land of Snow, the use of cars isn't actually plot critical. It's when the mistakes in a story start piling up that it becomes harder to overlook the smaller stuff, or when the mistakes are really big.
It might have been better if the vehicles were provided by the Land of Snow or something. I think there might have been a novelization of the movie, but if there was, it was never released outside Japan or translated by fans. Annoying.
What about Doto not finding Koyuki for ten (actually 14, but whatever) years, despite her being a big actress? I don't think it's an issue. She was a little girl when she was rescued, and when I did my timeline, I didn't have her start her acting career until she was 16. She had to have been 20 at the time of the movie, minimum, and it's possible that nobody in the Land of Snow was watching her movies.
So, no, that's not really a plothole.
The director wanting to keep filming despite the danger? It is pretty nuts, but it only establishes his character, and he doesn't come off like some heartless jerk.
Koyuki's depression and hopelessness? No, that's not a problem. For what she's been through, it makes total sense. Her expression "there is no spring in the Land of Snow," is taken as literal, and that's ridiculous, but we can re-interpret that as metaphorical. It's not too big an issue.
Kakashi duplicating Ice Release? A plot hole now, yes. However, Ice Release hadn't been established as a kekkei genkai yet, so we can forgive that.
So...why does this movie work?
The plot, while fairly straightforward and while not carrying any big or complex themes, is solid as steel.
And yes, there are engaging fights present in this movie, too. But do not let that be the only measuring stick for this movie or the series. Fights without working context aren't worth much, something films like Batman v. Superman have proved quite firmly in more recent years. We don't get into series like this for the fights. We get into them because we became emotionally invested in the characters. Actions scenes are a bonus, not the end all.
In this film, the characters are all acting in character. The motivations make sense. Nobody is being egregiously stupid or awful in a way that hurts the narrative. Team Seven is acting more like the team you'd wanted them to be. Yes, the worldbuilding has a few little blemishes, but nothing too destructive.
Why most of the other films couldn't be that well put together, I don't know. But this one definitely was.

I finally, upon the second time of trying, finally completed Doom (2016). I'll be honest, this was probably the most fun I've had playing an FPS game in a while. Like, yeah, I enjoy playing other ones like Halo, Call Of Duty, Medal Of Honor and Battlefield for example, but sometimes those get so formulaic that it just doesn't feel the same. That's not to say that I don't have issues with Doom because I do, it's just so high octane, adrenaline pumping and just a very fun time overall. The music definitely helps with that when it is there. A lot of people say that this game has one of the best soundtracks and I don't agree, I think it has its moments, which is really during the fights, but outside of that I find the soundtrack to be pretty bland.
This game has a good variety of weapons. Pistol, shotgun, heavy assault rifle, rocket launcher, super shotgun, gatling gun, BFG 9000 and that one laser gun thing I can't remember the name of. My favs are the BFG 9000, heavy assault rifle and gatling gun. It is also cool that you can have up to two weapon mods on them too, often giving them alt fires or scopes sometimes too. They did a fantastic job with the weapons and weapon mods too.
One aspect that I think the game needed some work on is the platforming as I don't think it's all that good. Granted, I am not a fan of platforming in my FPS games but this just seems really clunky. Sometimes you can make a jump with ease and sometimes you get the climb animation with ease and sometimes you don't and can easily fall to your death because the climbing and platforming is very clunky and I think that the game would have been better off with a more polish system for it.
Another aspect that I did not like at all is the level design. Now, some of this is probably due to this being the first time for me fully playing the game but, the level design very drastically goes between being overly complicated and maze like to extremely simple. A good example of the first is The Foundry level. I got stuck wandering around there for I don't know how long, completely lost trying to find the last Gore Nest. What's worse is that when I looked up what to do, I found that I had to jump to the other side of a destroyed bridge, rip a guys arms off and use that on a panel to open a door. Now, why they couldn't have made that dead guy more noticeable in terms of hey you need to interact with this is beyond me, but that missions level design is so maze like and it's not only the one but it serves as the best example. These sort of levels really clash with the core of the game being a fast paced shooter when you're forced to slow down sometimes.
Now, when I say that the level design can be simple, what I mean is that a lot of the level design, save for a few, is just walk straight down path to a large arena area to fight demons and then do something to unlock the way forward. That is pretty much the level design in 90% of the missions and it just gets old after awhile.
Overall, Doom (2016) does the gunplay really well and has some good tracks when you are kicking ass. But it also has both really complicated and really simple level design too which, to me, brings the game down a bit. Doom is still a good and fun game though.

RWBY: After The Fall Review
Written by E.C. Myers, story by Kerry Shawcross and Miles Luna.
The Bottom Line: About as mediocre as RWBY gets.
I'll start by saying that this feels like a fanfic. And not the sort of fanfic that you wait with baited breath for each update or the kind that changes your life or even the sort that you have a hearty laugh with (or at), the sort where they take a group of side characters and huck them through an excuse plot and sometimes the characters you remember from the show are there. SOMETIMES.
Basically it revolves around Team CFVY who were just there in the actual show to look cool and fill out Beacon Academy, the setting of the first three volumes, as upperclassmen. As such they were threadbare characters then and honestly this does relatively little to provide them with depth.
They do have depth now, yes, but it's still not very deep.
The biggest issue with this novel is how it is structured. In essence, one half of the novel is "what happened then" and the other half is "what is happening now". A smart author like Myers is, to be frank, trying to be would intertwine these thematically and narratively. It reminds me of the parallel chapters of Hard-Boiled Wonderland and the End of the World, except without Haruki Murakami or any of the charm. Oh and also the pattern gets broken enough that there is no real pattern.
The main plot is that someone put out a distress signal and these four teenagers are responding in their official-but-still-training capacity. They stumble on the refugees from the settlement that put out the beacon. They follow them to another settlement and figure out that what is happening is that someone is causing mood amplification, which draws in Grimm (monsters). There is not a long drawn out question of this mystery; it happens quickly because half the wordcount is dedicated to the B-plot.
The B-plot traces CFVY's time at Beacon Academy before and during canon. One particularly egregious section involves setting up CFVY to be friends with RWBY and yet this doesn't go very far in terms of narrative. If you're here to explore those relationships — sorry! You don't get much more than the bare introductions between these characters. If I were editing this, I would de-emphasize or cut these chapters and instead focus on expanding the present, using the bright moments of the past as high contrast against the bleakness of the current situation.
The intercutting harms the stakes here because there's not a question of how Narrative B in the past fed the characters into Narrative A because not only is the reason they're in Narrative A a canon event (depicted in the show) but the prologue also lays it all out almost immediately in exposition.
The highlight of the novel IMO is their horrifying failure vaguely alluded to in RWBY volume 2, a genuinely frightening and appropriately horrifying and grim in-the-moment incident, yet the narrative weight and the parallels between that situation and the situation CFVY currently faces is underplayed. The point of this is that they have failed before and this is their self-considered shot at redemption but we really aren't in these characters' heads deep or long enough to get that.
The worldbuilding added in this book also creates issues.
The book opens with the members of CFVY fighting sand crabs, which are indigenous non-Grimm predatory animals. Over the course of the book there are two more instances of the author creating other non-Grimm creatures, which feels like something the worldbuilding for the core show did not establish at all and has not for three of the four major locations visited so far in its course.
Additionally, Coco's weapon — for those who haven't seen RWBY, a purse that transforms into a massive rotary chaingun — is specifically called a Gatling gun. The Gatling gun is specifically named after a real man from history, Richard Jordan Gatling, which creates more questions than it solves.
Also, this is a novel, unlimited by modeling and budget — why are we stuck with only four members of Beacon Academy's faculty?
And of course the largest question that loomed over my head was — if the desert is such a terrible place for people to live as depicted in the novel, why do they live there?
The characterization for CFVY is spotty and at times offensive — Coco is treated as perpetually horny, to the point of ogling refugees marching across the desert in revealing clothing. Fox and Yatsuhashi are given scraps of characterization — primarily detailing incidents in their pasts that shaped them — which is better than nothing but I still found them comparatively weak as characters.
If there's a character I would personally center the narrative around it would be Velvet Scarlatina. She's a somewhat meek, kind, yet strong-willed girl with a skillset that revolves around summoning the digital ghosts of weapons she's photographed — at the cost of that weapon's photograph being destroyed. This automatically means she has to be clever in the application of her skillset. Once or twice it is brought up that, as a given weapon's wielder is dead or missing, she will be unable to use that particular weapon ever again. Used appropriately, this could create an interesting narrative tension of when to use or when not to use one of these.
The other new-to-canon characters introduced are given relatively shallow characterizations; even the surprise villains of the novel lack any compelling desires of their own. Unfortunately, this is because they were hired by the antagonists of the sequel, and the book ends with a hook for that.
In conclusion: one of the characters wears a chainmail crop top, which has to be the most useless armor I've ever seen. Also, just look up where the name "Gatling gun" comes from next time.

Let's Talk About Trigun Stampede
I can't I just HHHNNNNGGGHHHH ok before the rage builds up in me and blows up I will first and foremost say that the Voice acting and the animation are freaking amazing and beautiful... NOW WITH THAT OUT OF THE WAY.
Listen, Trigun has been my favorite anime (the og) for about what 20 years now? It was goofy, it was fun, Vash was fun and it was all around a good time, then I got introduced to the manga and it was a lot darker, seriously if you have not read Trigun Maximum you should it's amazing and it's everything Trigun Stampede should have been but was too scared to be. So you may ask what are my issues?
The most glaring issue for me is Vash, sure in the new anime he looks amazing but... that's it, they have somehow managed to make this fun-loving goofy yet at times serious character who wielded a gun with pinpoint accuracy more of a pacifist than he already was, a major crying bleeding heart which HHHHHNNNNRRRHGHASKAGJFAEIa I'm cool I'm calm, I'm ok, I'll be ok.
So aside from him being a whiny baby with superhuman skills what else have they changed? Well for one his reluctance to use a gun, which yes sure you do see it in the original and even in the manga but he still uses it and he uses it a lot more frequently than he does in Trigun Stampede, and most importantly he was never afraid to use it, and never hesitant to use it when need be. Sure most of his shots were made to be non-lethal and to deflect bullets which he does a lot of btw but the hesitation I keep seeing him with using the gun is just WHY?! It does not need to be there, the only time he panicked was when he blew up a mfing city due to interference from his brother and losing control.
Listen if you're gonna base yourselves off of the Trigun manga (which there is clear inspiration from btw) base yourself off the manga. Don't be a coward, don't jump in between going "mmm nah this is too dark, we'll take this out, and this out, and this out, and this out, and hell let's just water the whole thing down, and change character personalities."
So with that being said I feel like the biggest crime is the butchering of Vash's character but that isn't to say I'm going to avoid all the other crimes this anime has committed oh no no no no.
Wolfwood, while they got his personality mostly right, a few things they omitted or just straight up took out, if this anime was supposed to be like the Manga, Wolfwood should have been there right from the very beginning as both a spy for Millions Knives and as Vash's Babysitter so to speak. If they wanted to make it more like the original anime he also should have come relatively soon and had a more shall we say cheerful disposition but with more seriousness added to him.
So once again another example of this anime not knowing what they wanted to do, or perhaps they did, perhaps they wanted to combine the two or do something I don't freaking know man I just know it doesn't feel right. Especially when Wolfwood has probably the sickest showdown in the history of manga dedicated to his name. That's right there is an entire volume, dedicated to Wolfwood, called Wolfwood that shows the epic showdown (once again spoiler alert he ends up dying he always ends up dying). It is definitely cemented itself in my head as one of the greatest fight showdowns out there and here I am expecting that with the title in the Anime called "Wolfwood" and wah wah WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH. Usually, when his name is used for a volume or episode title it USUALLY indicates something epic is about to go down because that's the kind of awesome dude he is and... nothing we got nothing special.
Millie WHERE THE EVER LOVING HECK IS MILLIE?! She is Meryl's right-hand woman for crying out loud and SHE IS ABSOLUTELY FREAKING NOWHERE WHY?! Like what? Did they not want to bring in a tall woman valkyrie who wields a freaking gatling gun?! No, instead they bring in a dude who and I checked both the manga and original anime, I cannot find him anywhere, so what is this supposed to be an origin story????
Like ok, the anime is showing darker things but it's like they were too scared to go too dark? Even though (spoiler alert) they kill off an innocent kid who Meryl isn't able to save and a buncha bs goes down and I can see very clear Manga influences but they're doing it all wrong by warping the personalities and who was and was not there and just ARG.
Meryl, they got her persistence right and her bold never give-up attitude but, once again I must ask here, is this supposed to be some weird origin story? Like are we gonna get clearer manga influences in season 2? Because she also is not afraid to fire a gun, and her entire bloody cloak... jacket... thing is jam-packed full of one-shot guns that she then either throws away or replaces the bullets of after I know it's silly but yeah she's got a cloak full of them. More importantly, SHE IS NOT AFRAID TO SHOOT IF SHE HAS TO. Now usually Vash steps in before she gets into too much trouble even in the one anime episode where he barely appears and it's more of a filler he ends up helping her out but yeah.
I could go on but these are some of the most egregious examples I could see, and yes there are more it's just *sigh* I can't, I just, I wanted something closer to the manga a little bit darker but still faithful and this to me wasn't it. It's fine if you like it, and it's fine if you have nothing to base your experience off of and you enjoy it like I said the visuals and everything are stunning and the theme song is far better than the original theme song. I, on the other hand, do have something to base this off of and I own both the Trigun Manga which is THICK, and the Trigun Maximum Manga, and the OG complete anime series, like I said, favorite anime and manga, so, of course, I should've been excited... until they butchered everything like they did with the live-action Cowboy Bebop... well ok maybe not that bad but it feels just as bad.
So I'm not mad at this point just sad and disappointed.

A Review of Vinny's S↫ↂ¢Ϡy MS-DOS Games 3
youtube
Yeah I did these out of order - this was released earlier than the Quality DOSes.
[KOR] Ant Man | Not to be confused with Hank Pym, this seems to be a scifi tokusatsu-style universe - bad guys brought their robots on a meteor, three college kids become bug-armored heroes to save the day and stuff. Our repertoire - Ant Man, Mosquito Girl, and Beetle Boy.
Vinny picks Beetle Boy first, and boy is he slow! The game is well-above-and-beyond passable, with great music and great visuals, but it's marred by one fatal flaw - seemingly-random game overs that you're not prepared for.
Next he picks Mosquito Girl, whom he mistakenly believes to be Ant Man. Beetle Boy was the only slow one so far, but had big-ol' lazers, while Mosquito Girl has gatling-gun hands! Okay, the second big complaint is the jump - it just doesn't feel right. You know what Soft Land needed? For Commander Keen to be imported to Korea. At least Mosquito Girl can hover short distances to make jumping a bit more manageable.
Finally is Ant Man. Let's see what he brings to the table! A double-jump, another machine gun... Eventually he figures out that not only was he wrong about who Ant Man was, but also that the button he thought was for menus was actually the game-over button! Those sly dogs! Those thieving little words we're not supposed to say on a family website!
[TWN] Basketball Challenge | Folks consider this to be the precursor of the infamous China Pro Baseball faces. Let's laugh at the faces and admire the twitchy gameplay the demo offers. NEXT!
[CHN] Blood-Boiled High School | Vinny can't run this one, but there is a picture - it looks just like the River City games.
[CHN] King Kong 10 | Oops, the VOD accidentally played the part where he can't run Box Ranger twice! And then after a bit of fail with Lobotomy BBS, here's this game. Can you guess what it's about? If you said "basketball gorilla platformer", you're right!
Even more shockingly, it contains ragtime music! The story - once upon a time there was a little gorilla who loved to play basketball. One day he was kidnapped by a helicopter and taken into the big bad city. He only escaped because the helicopter was struck by lightning!
What a shock - the game is like Donkey Kong Country in terms of playstyle. Digitized sprites, 2D playfield, jump on enemies to kill them or alternatively use a different attack... In fact, 2 - throwing basketballs, and spinning! Unfortunately, Mr. 10, you're no Starfy - at least he can spin multiple times and still not get dizzy.
And even more surprisingly, saying "like" or something that vaguely sounds like it will make the like counter flash! ...What, that's just the fault of the YouTube website and not the VOD itself? On that note, whether or not the map theme sounds similar to anything David Wise composed is none of my business, as long as it sounds good.
You get 15 points for every thingamajiggy broken via basketball action and 1 for every dog (2 for every mining robot thingy) killed. But what's stupid about this is that your keys and points aren't then un-gotten when you die, meaning you could theoretically beat the game with 65,536 keys, 256 golden whatsits, and 983,040 points (but still showing as 9999) before you get a game over. Talk about busted!
Honestly, I can't tell if those things are baby bottles or muffins. Random story - FunnyStarRunner spent years trying to find this, erroneously thinking it was called Hoop Kong 98. I'll shut up now until he moves on to...
[KOR] Korean Dungeon Boy | Misspelled "Dunegon Boy" on the files, this one is another IBM adventure like RT2:BM&T... and Guldkorn Express! It plays like the maze sections in Phantasy Star and in fact Magician's Story (the game that would eventually give rise to Puyo Puyo).
This tubby little greaseball has been chosen to explore the dark scary dungeons, and he's going in with 3 batteries for his radar, 4 magical spell-scrolls, 8 bullets for his Colt 45, and 16 tiny rocks for his slingshot. 3 minutes, starting now! What must he do? Find all the treasures? Escape? Kill all the bats? Whatever it is, Vinny hasn't the gumption nor the patience to find out what the endgoal is here, and so he gives up after flailing around and failing to select the gun.
[KOR] Ultra Superb SM Ultimate S◐⇹ʘ Fighter | OH ! Sↈ‡※ !! If ever there was a game with just as much copyright infringement as Super Cop and Cyber Marine combined, it'd be this - the music is tacky Yamaha arrangements of Two Kids Run in the City (title screen) and Rouge's Dengon (gameplay theme). Not sure what the boss theme is infringing, though.
You're a Weeping Angel, apparently, shooting grub-dropping rats, farting cockroaches, spitting teeth, the titular s⁛₯ʔs, and the bosses appear to be bug exterminators. Knock Sybal's Monkey Adventure all you want - at least its music wasn't stolen from prior sources. ...Believe it or not, this specific arrangement of Rouge's Dengon made me realize that I really like those specific DOS instruments.
Despite the health bar and the damage-flash when you're "hurt", you're immortal. The game's just as busted as King Kong 10!
[KOR] student.exe | I think this game might be the polar opposite of S◘ᾎϟ Fighter - it's too hard with everything coming at you. Theoretically a game like this could work, a student who falls asleep in class and dreams of being in a side-shooter adventure with all these school supplies attacking him, but this really needed more QA and playtesting than just this one guy.
[KOR] The Time Machine | Are you ready to learn about Korean history!? No!? Too bad, get in the time machine! We begin in the year 2010 (tells what era this game was made if they made 2010 sound even more futurey than it actually ended up being), where we join Captain Haddock in our little temporal adventure.
First stop - 4000 BC, where we find Cro-Magnons? Did they know how much evolution humanity had made by then? Humans then were pretty much identical to us of today! Civilization had been invented then! India had just been founded! Why are we looking at cavepeople in their hay-houses!?
On the bright side, Vinny says the rightmost Magnon reminds him of his post-convention self. Or, the Kong. Thus would begin an annoying trend of him calling things Kong.
When to next? Why, 600 BC, of course! This fine gentleman is rallying his people in what would soon become Korea! Or, in Vinny's eyes, the adventurer Kong has found the Sacred Knife of the Umzari to destroy the evil Dragon Emperor Scrocog, and at the same time, St. Kong drove all the snakes out of Ireland.
Next time period, AD 600, where a beautiful sight is seen - the deity of the sun, Goguryeo, is carrying it up into the sky! Irritatingly, Vinny says that this is John Kong, half-snake, half-man, who found the Dragon Ball that would become Mozilla Firefox.
For once going back instead of forward - AD 158, where we see this fine gentleman pungmul-ing with his pals until the cows come home!
AD 42 sees us right in the imperial horsemen's way. They mean business - we better scram! But Vinny has to be a total clown about it and try to complete the little jingle we heard.
Scrambling out of the Gaya empire after reminiscing about the TooManyGames convention and Keith Apecary's tree booth and into the year AD 592-- WHOA HOLY HECK WHY ARE WE IN A WARZONE!? Stop joking about Star Wars, this is serious!
[CHN] Violent Fighter | Skipping the initial attempt to boot up Twins, thinking it's based on the Danny deVito/Arnold Schwarzenegger buddy comedy, here's this one. Dear God, rest my soul. Vinny's saying what I'm thinking - why have this promising story about the aliens breaking out of the AMX lab and occupying Wall Street when you're just gonna do a fighting game roster with Kater (Carter), Lice (Lisa), Ali, Chomu, Oluda, Cyber-02, Sea Killer, and Klaid (Clyde)?
At least the AMX backstory is still there, with Clyde coming from the same lab as the aliens. But the only options are player v.s CPU, player v.s player, and options! No story mode? No tournament?? Whatever. Vinny picks Chomu v.s Clyde, loses, Sea Killer v.s Clyde, loses again, Carter v.s Lisa, loses yet again, whatever.
[KOR] Box Ranger | Remember Fox Ranger 1 and 2 from the first of these videos? The box-man is here to steal the show and make this IBM-based installment all about himself! And... Gandalf the White.
Much like any cubic egomaniac's self-serving spinoff, the box-man goes into a cave and kills insects, including a dragonfly boss.
[KOR] Twins | Much to Vinny's disappointment, this is not an adaptation of a buddy comedy featuring a small man and a big Austrian beefcake. It's a Korean point-and-click adventure starring these two people, who are twins. And he had to find this out via a video of the game in action. A disappointing end to this stream.

RED CASE FILES: HOMRA IN LAS VEGAS
CHAPTER 5: EDWARD, THE RED
* List of Chapters
Translation: Naru-kun Raws: Ridia
The purple smoke was inhaled deep into the lungs.
Compared to last time, the surroundings were silent as a lie. All he could hear was the moaning of the black clothes that had been shaken. Suoh, leaning against the roulette wheel, slowly blew smoke towards the glittering chandelier.
Suddenly, he felt a signal behind him.
Looking back, the face he knew had a bitter smile on his face.
"That's a lot of flashy work against Shiroto-san."
"Hmm." Huffing, Suoh received a glass of whiskey from Kusanagi.
"It's self-defense."
Actually, it was the other side that was poking at. Until he bought a fight that was sold to him, Kusanagi didn't believe it. Arguably there should be a better way to do it. But, well, he understood.
He understood it, but he didn't mean to.
After picking up the whiskey, Suoh suddenly remembered:
"What happened to Anna?"
"She ran away with Totsuka and Yata. We're the only ones left here."
Suoh had a suspicious look on his face. Totsuka was fine, but why did Yata's name come up?
He maybe he read the question, Kusanagi had a hard time looking at him, took a sip of cocktail, and said:
"It's going to be complicated. Fushimi went on a business trip with a 'Rabbit'. Well, Yata is another matter."
"You don't know why."
"I don't know. But there is one important thing."
Suddenly Kusanagi's eyes were serious.
"Mizuchi is here. Looks like he called us."
"......"
Suoh blinked several times and stared at Kusanagi's face.
Kusanagi put his hand to his forehead and exhaled deeply.
"Ah, sorry. He's the director of the center that kidnapped Anna."
After being told so much, he finally understood.
"I see."
Suoh only had the acknowledgment that he was a scientist who had captured Anna and was conducting various experiments. He was the power of the "King", he was shouting in various ways, but he could barely remember that part. However, he remembered that he was a member of the Golden Clan and was taken to the "Rabbits" because he violated the internal rules.
If Mizuchi was the one who called them there, then the black clothes lying on the ground could be seen as Mizuchi's henchmen.
Suoh muttered.
"So, I'm glad I was able to beat them."
"That's right. I don't know who these over there are. Still, beating up such an ordinary person, no matter how I think about it, I'll either save time or stop."
Shrugging at Kusanagi, Suoh swallowed the whiskey. He put the empty glass down on the roulette table and left.
Kusanagi also drank the cocktail in the same way and started walking with Suoh. That hotel was part of the tour program. If so, he could think of it as the root castle of the enemy. In a place like this, he couldn't sleep.
As he walked beside him, Kusanagi suddenly muttered.
"I don't understand Mizuchi's purpose. To get revenge on you, or is he still trying to make Anna a king? If so, those black clothes are a strategy to separate you from Anna. Maybe it was."
Suoh looked at Kusanagi and said casually.
"It's okay."
Kusanagi looked at Suoh. On that basis, his eyes said it all.
Suoh laughed at Kusanagi's pessimism with his nose.
"There's Totsuka and Yata. If so, that's fine."

"Saru! The road is cut to the right, right!"
"I'm doing it right now, don't mess it up!"
Annoyed screams echoed through the vehicle. Every time the laser sight of the "ostrich" was aimed at the van, Fushimi would turn the steering wheel from left to right and somehow try to avoid it. He maybe he noticed that something was wrong with the other truck that was running next to him, slowed down and crashed into the "ostrich".
Sparks scattered across the road in the dark night and the red pointer moved. Almost at the same time, the Gatling gun attached to the body of the "ostrich" began to fire.
Along with the roar of the window glass shaking, the railing on the immediate side turned into a hive, growled, shattered, and disappeared back.
"......!"
Every person in the van was terrified and convinced at the same time. If they were shot at something like that, no matter how talented they were, they couldn't get away unscathed.
"Damn it! I'm sorry!"
Kamamoto barked, opened the back seat window and leaned forward. A Moorish red genie in his fist hardened, and he shot out like a ball of fire. Fireball is Kusanagi's ability, but it's not like the other clan members can't use it either. They just prefer human bullet battle.
The burning red fireball, however, did not catch the "ostrich". Just before landing, the "ostrich" flexed its legs a lot and jumped into the air. He jumped more than 5 meters, again, falling towards the truck.
"Hey, is it falling?!"
"Shit, gaak!"
Fushimi turned the wheel with tremendous force as he gritted his teeth. Kamamoto and Bando in the rear seats toppled like dominoes in a sharp turn that almost caused the rear wheels to skid. The claws of the "ostrich" attacking from above pierced through the driver's door and window together. Shattered glass shards glinted in the road lights.
The red light was absorbed by the "ostrich's" legs in a straight line to tear the brilliance from it.
A throwing knife thrown by Fushimi while he was driving pierced the "ostrich's" ankle joint and burned a red aura.
The "ostrich", which was running on both legs, lost its balance and slowed down. Still, the "ostrich" hadn't given up yet. The laser pointer shone like a beast looking for prey.
Fushimi stepped on the accelerator as much as he could and pushed the "ostrich" out of the way in one go.
The "ostrich" disappeared into the darkness behind, and the people in the car finally exhaled all at once.
"What is that? Robotic weapons...?!"
"But you're stupid, there's no such thing! It's not a movie."
"No. He's probably right."
The gentleman with the calm voice was Tanaka, sitting in the passenger seat. Keeping an eye on his back, he put his hand on his chin as if he was thinking.
“It has been more than half a year since the CIA captured Mizuchi. No wonder such a weapon was born if the military science of the US Army and the unique technology that Mizuchi knows are combined...”
"Huh?! We're being attacked by the CIA?!"
"Maybe it's the National Security Agency NSA, because it has a stronger connection to the military."
Fushimi clicked his tongue at Tanaka, who smiled.
"Don't be afraid, they won't ask the army to be your opponent...!"
"To be precise, it's more like one or two non-regular platoons belonging to the intelligence department, rather than the army. I don't think a decent civilian employee would have a shootout in the city."
"Soldiers of 100 people will attack with such weapons. It's not something amateurs can do. No matter what they say, it's better to return to Japan quickly."
"Hm..."
As Tanaka put his hand to his chin and tried to think about it, again, the footsteps echoed. Bando pressed against the glass of the rear window, he screams.
"Hey! It's already caught up with us!"
Fushimi looked in the rearview mirror and muttered in annoyance.
"What should I do?! The speed is higher there...!"
"That's right. So..."
Tanaka unbuckled his seat belt and slid out of the fully open passenger seat window. The terrified Yata, screamed.
"Hey, Ossan! What are you doing?!"
"It's my job to protect you."
Tanaka narrowed his eyes and looked back as he clung to the roof of the truck and was buffeted by the strong wind rushing down the road. The "ostrich" approached moving both feet at imperceptible speed. The laser pointer was aimed at Tanaka's inorganic features.
"Osan!"
Yata's screams echoed from inside the vehicle. As he listened, Tanaka swung an arm towards the "ostrich".
The Gatling gun began to fire.
Tanaka would be pierced by countless ammunition and his corpse would be thrown on the road; everyone in the vehicle anticipated that sight, and shrugged.
But that didn't happen.
The ammunition stopped just before it reached Tanaka, as if he had slammed into an invisible wall.
The "ostrich" kept firing. However, the bullets never reached Tanaka. All the bullets were locked in midair and lined up in a strange curve. It was like an avant-garde art.
Tanaka smiled silently and waved an arm that lit up the golden glow.
"I am a senior agent of the 'Rabbits' and 'Tokijikuin'. Don't expect this level of attack to do anything to me."
Amazed, Yata turned his soulful gaze to the ceiling.
"Impressive, Ossan, I understand! It's okay!"
Yata opened the truck door, slapping his cheeks with both hands. A strong wind blew across the road and Fushimi cried out in anger.
"What are you doing, Misaki?!"
"Ossan stopped me before, but I'm going to kill him now!"
Yelling back, Yata jumped out of the van.
Sparks were scattered by the wheels of the skateboard at a relative speed of 80 km/h. The sparks got bigger and eventually turned into a flame that engulfed the wheels. As he carved the fiery grooves into the asphalt, Yata began to spin the handle of the mop that he held in both hands at high speed.
"Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!"
Along with the screaming spirit, a red genie dwelled in the mop and exploded like a spinning flame. The skateboard's orbit jerked out once and Yata slammed the flame into the "ostrich", which was still firing, mixing acceleration and centrifugal force.
The steel fuselage fluttered and the spark flashed in the darkness of the night.
"Wow! What kind of things!"
Facing the victorious Yata, the "ostrich" began to wander. The rotation of both legs slowed down, the speed visibly decreased, and it fell as it was.
The laser pointer pointed at Yata before doing so.
"Shit!"
Yata hurriedly manipulated the skateboard and tried to get away from the "ostrich". But the pointer pursued him relentlessly. The cannon began to rotate at high speed while aiming at Yata's forehead.
A red butterfly was sucked into his snout.
An extraordinary butterfly with very little firepower, but it was enough to shut his mouth. The butterflies that touched the bullet exploded, shattering the barrel and igniting thousands of ammunition packed in the ammunition mechanism.
The body of the "ostrich" exploded from the inside.
The "ostrich", which became a moving ball of fire, lurched to the right, tilted to the left, and, on a drunken wobbly foot, detonated repeatedly. Like an ostrich that has lost its head, he kept running aimlessly, eventually going over the railing and falling far below the path.
"Hmm… I was scared…"
Manipulating the skateboard with the power of a different skill, Yata returned to the van. He smiled at Totsuka, who walked out the door.
"Thank you, Totsuka-san. You saved me!"
Totsuka returned a wink.
"Well, I'm still an executive of 'Homura'."
The two looked at each other and laughed loudly, then Yata turned to the passenger seat.
Tanaka was already sitting there when he returned. Seat belts were also fastened, and wind-disturbed hairstyles were patted down by hand. Yata laughed and pointed his fist at him.
"Ossan was nice too! If you weren't here, I'd be a hive right now."
Tanaka smiled like a mask, stared at the fist and gently punched his fist there.
"No, this is also a job, but is it okay to call me that?"
"Huh?"
"I'm still 28. How's that for Ossan?"
++++++++++
One of Mizuchi's eyes made a noise and moved, deciding the wrong direction.
"Hmmm~?"
Jane had a look of disgust on her face. From experience, she knew that when Mizuchi responded like that, that was when something was wrong.
"What is this time?"
"Uh, 'Glass Hopper II' was done. As expected, 'Homura', is it hard to kill with that kind of weapon?"
As he mumbled and mumbled, Mizuchi opened the door and got out of the car. Jane and her escorts also came out into the street.
"Well, I was able to record the W deviation from him, so let's do it. I really can't trust the average person's courage. Unless he's a threat, they won't take him seriously either."
"Why do you understand? Have you not received such a report?"
One of the eyes twitched at Jane's suspicious words.
"Oh, that's easy. I've set the feedback to come here when a cyber-weapon is destroyed. It's natural for parents to always want to know the condition of their beloved child, right?"
"I have received no such report."
"Is that so? Well, it would be better if we could always monitor the planes that could be used. There are still more than 30 "Glass Hopper II". If you get everything up and running, "Homura" will be a hive in no time."
As he shrugged and laughed, Mizuchi walked into the street. Jane followed him, looking at Mizuchi's rear.
Fremont Street was still packed with tourists. Unfortunately, it seemed to overlap with the time of the Viva Vision Show, and the semi-circular arcade that covered the ceiling began to display psychedelic images. All kinds of colors melted and tangled and distorted like liquids, Jane thought. The guy who made that video must have felt pretty comforted.
Looking at the casino shops to the left and right, Mizuchi greeted the children on the way with a smile. The boy also laughed and turned to Mizuchi. Fremont Street was also a mecca for artists, although it didn't seem like an attitude towards a monster. Perhaps he was recognized as one of them.
As he watched the boy walk away, Mizuchi only nodded.
"Children are good, because they are full of talent and future. Don't you think so, Jane?"
"When you talk about children, it gives me goosebumps for some reason, Mizuchi."
When she returned that answer, Mizuchi laughed out loud again.
During such exchanges, they reached the target store.
On the street of the bright neon and light show, that place was only dark as if darkness was in the air. It was originally a bar inspired by the Western era, but the appearance of many large motorcycles parked in front of the store and tattoo-covered bikers drinking around it was clearly decent, showing that it was not a good bar.
The motorcyclists were looking at them and the escort personnel were nervous. Before them, Mizuchi didn't seem to feel any pressure. He looked at the store sign and laughed happily.
"Blood and Flame. Hahahaha. To think it's the same as 'Homura'."
"Hey. It's not a night show, Asians."
The cyclists stood up and surrounded Mizuchi. The thick arm wrapped in a leather jacket could snap like a dead tree if it came to Mizuchi's neck.
Still, Mizuchi didn't show any signs of hesitation. He rolled all three eyes and said with a smile.
"When Mizuchi comes, Mr. Edward will take over."
The bikers looked at each other and separated from Mizuchi.
"Excuse me. Please go there."
The bikers reverently pushed the door of the bar with a polite attitude that did not resemble a strong physique. Mizuchi entered the bar, followed by Jane and her companions.
Harsh air was trapped inside the bar.
A neon signs with a jukebox that looked like a figurine and a spider web. At the counter, which seemed to have been uncleaned for several years, the hollow-eyed men sat vaguely. Placed on the counter was a box that was probably flour. Jane followed Mizuchi, avoiding looking at them.
"Client. Boss."
When the motorcyclist who opened the door called out in a low voice, a bright voice in contrast to that came back from the back of the store.
"Oh! I have been waiting for you, Mr. Mizuchi! You have often come here and there!"
VIP room at the back of the store. With multiple escorts behind him, the man was lounging on a leather couch.
Edward The Red. He was the boss of "Blood and Flame", a gangster who ruled downtown Las Vegas.
Blue eyes, long limbs, muscular and slender body. His dark skin indicated that he was a South American Hispanic. No shadow could be found on his smiling face. Jane knew it was a friendly attitude that didn't resemble the head of a violent group, but of course, it was a farce.
When he was asked who was the most dangerous man in the Las Vegas underworld, any thug would name Edward.
The Mexican mob, whose sphere of influence is Southern California, controls almost all of the Hispanic mobsters. They value order and discipline, and do not allow even the slightest deviation. Asylum if you submit, death if you refuse: this is how they have grown in power.
Under such circumstances, "Blood and Flame" did not try to obey any organization.
Of course, Chief Edward was ordered to kill several people. Many mobsters targeted Edward for money and honor, but none of them could take his life. Edward has always been at the forefront of the conflict, having even destroyed dozens of enemy hideouts on his account.
The appearance of Edward, who killed all the hostile organizations, burned them and laughed with blood, was called in amazement: "Edward, The Red".
Of course, if you think about it normally, that's just a junkie's wishful thinking.
However, that was the case. The proof of the fact was shown by Edward's right hand.
There was only a thumb on his right hand.
The other four fingers of his had become burned scars. Edward showed the sofa in front of him, waving his impressive hands like a normal human being.
"Come on, sit down! Hey, by the number of drinks!"
Edward raised his voice. Mizuchi sat face to face with Edward without hesitation, and one of his eyes caught Jane out of the corner of his eye. Jane reluctantly sat down next to Mizuchi.
Edward rounded his eyes and stared at Mizuchi.
"No, I heard about it, but there is actually a third one! Is it really visible? How many of these are there?"
Mizuchi's three eyes looked at Edward, who opened his right hand.
"It's a philosophical question, Mr. Edward. One in metamorphosis, but five in metaphysics. His deficiency seems to make him quite complete."
"Oh...? Hahahahaha, I don't know what the scholars say!"
Edward laughed, and the mechanical blankness of the escort behind them barely smiled. The distorted cheeks had crushed burn marks.
They brought the tequila shot.
"In Las Vegas!"
Edward drank it all at once in one gulp. Mizuchi did the same. Jane was lost, but she still shoved it down her throat. The taste of burnt sake spread in the stomach.
Edward dropped the shot glass and leaned toward the table. The eyebrows furrowed as if he was in trouble.
"By the way, Mr. Mizuchi. I'm sad. I'm a member of the group I lent you, but it seems you made a mistake. I don't know who you were dealing with, but it was sad that we were so weak. How much did the treatment cost for everyone?"
"It's $50,000, Chief."
"$100,000?! That much?! Wow, what a wheel of fire! That's right, we're going broke!"
Edward looked up at the sky, holding his head on purpose. Jane barely held her tongue. He really didn't understand the meaning of the wheel of fire, but, in short, he was trying to get money out of it.
And when Mizuchi started laughing,
"The wheel of fire, huh, do you remember it from Japan, Mr. Edward?"
Edward looked back at Mizuchi and shrugged.
"That's right. My youth was when I was in Japan."
"When were you in "Purgatory"?"
Edward blinked slowly.
The air in the room visibly changed.
The biggest change occurred in Edward's subordinates. The blood rushing out of their faces, they stiffened their bodies to see what Edward looked like. The impatience and fear of the time bomb just before the time limit appeared evenly on their faces.
Edward laid his back on a leather couch and said,
"Did you know?"
"Of course. I am a member of the clan. Like you, I am a former member."
"I..."
Edward's voice was cold and mechanically resonant, as if the joy up to that moment was a lie.
"I'm still from 'Purgatory'."
His blue eyes were devilish. As the escort staff tried to prepare themselves, Jane had to keep an eye on them. They shouldn't stimulate Edward there. If he exploded, every one of them would turn to coal.
"Purgatory", the predecessor "Red King", a clan led by Kagutsu Genji, the man who brought about the unprecedented catastrophe that killed 700,000 people in Japan in 1999. His habit was a fierce word, a group of extremely troublesome terrorists who they captured the lives of human beings, whether themselves or others, only on paper.
Edward once belonged to that group. They did not know what his position was. He may have been the bottom end. However, no matter who the members are, it's best to think of them as dangerous while in "Purgatory". Edward's career is a clear testimony of that.
It was not really known if he understood the danger, Mizuchi laughed happily and rotated all three eyeballs.
"I see, are you still from 'Purgatory'? The clansmen have died and Kagutsu Genji has disappeared. Still, 'Purgatory' still continues?"
"I am alive."
"I see, maybe it's true. You are alive. Even if everyone else dies or you lose the King, 'Purgatory' will continue as long as you are alive. Mr. Edward, do you know the new red clan?"
Edward's eyebrows moved sharply. Mizuchi continued talking happily.
"Of course you don't know. You escaped from Japan and came to the United States after the Clan Incident. You then used your abilities to grow up in the underworld of Las Vegas. There is no way you would have known the current situation of the clan in Japan."
Mizuchi looked at Jane. Jane took some documents out of her briefcase and put them on the table. There was a photo and information of Mikoto Suoh and other members of the "Homura" clan.
Edward picked it up with his right hand and began to read.
Eventually, he leaked a tweet that appeared to have been deleted.
"Who is this "Red King"?"
"To tell the truth, I got help from you to beat them up. To the newborn red clan, 'Homura'."
Edward looked at the documents with a look that seemed to bite at any moment.
"Unfortunately, all of your members have been sent to the hospital. Well, that's not surprising. After all, the opponent is the 'Red King'. For you who know the former Kagutsu Genji, it's quite profitable as long as you have one life."
The flame burst.
The roaring, burning, distorted, snarling arm of fire was released from Edward's right hand. A fiery hand that reached out to lick the ceiling made a fist in the shape of grabbing Suoh's information documents and slammed into the table. The smell of burning bangs gave Jane a premonition of death.
Edward had a low voice, with his dazzling and murderous blue eyes.
"There is only one 'Red King'."
The table turned to ash and shattered, and the store's sprinkler went off. The water mixed with the digestive agent spilled out, and the flame of the extraordinary skill did not go out. Edward's killing intent also burned endlessly. As if it represented the buried fire in his heart.
As he soaked himself, Mizuchi didn't break his smiling demeanor.
"Oh, of course. That's true for you. There is only one 'Red King' in the world, the only one in the world: Kagutsu Genji. It doesn't matter if his sword falls and the land of Japan disappears. That's why he can be precious. Kagutsu, who was ruined with hundreds of thousands of lives and laughed out loud, can be called a hero."
Mizuchi leaned forward. The smile disappeared from his lips.
"So, Mr. Edward. Kill Suoh Mikoto."
"Eh?"
Edward's killing intent was about to go towards Mizuchi. Taking it head on, Mizuchi said.
“Perhaps there is only one 'Red King'. So Mikoto Suoh, the existence of the current generation 'Red King' is blasphemy for Kagutsu Genji. In order for him to remain 'King', Mikoto Suoh must be eliminated, right?"
"......"
Edward's flame stopped.
Along with that, the sprinkler too. Edward's eyes, which gathered up his drenched hair and stared at Mizuchi, showed strong discomfort.
"Are you trying to use me?"
Mizuchi smiled.
"Of course. I'm trying to use you, so you should use me too."
He touched his finger. One of the escorts took out the briefcase and placed it in front of Edward.
"It's $500.000. I'd like you to receive it as an advance payment. If you have any other information or strength you need, I'll always provide it."
Edward looked at the briefcase under his feet as if he was looking at dirty things.
"Why do you want to kill Suoh?"
Mizuchi suddenly laughed.
"I have a personal grudge against Mikoto Suoh, but I'm not trying to get rid of it. I just want to know. How can I kill the King?"
"......"
"Regicide. I'm intellectually curious. It's because of your 'King'. Let's join hands."
Mizuchi extended his right hand.
Edward blinked. The blue eyes alternated between the passion of the beast and the intellect of the person.
After a long patrol, the monster from "Purgatory" took the hand of the third monster.

Tumblr media
I noticed Victor was missing from his usual elevator posting as I made my way back to Yes Man. Maybe without House sending him instructions he'd just defaulted back to the usual securitron routes. As for Ed-E and Veronica, I told them to go relax in the presidential suite while I handled the rest of my business with Yes Man. The rest of the securitrons also seemed to have defaulted without direct instruction from House, as I was able to make it to Yes Man with no interruption.
Yes Man was in his spot waiting in front of the Tops. I said as I approached him, "Yes Man! It's time." I held up the platinum chip and he gasped, "Mr. House is out of the picture and you have the platinum chip? Wonderful! Let's go!" He rolled toward the Lucky 38 with me close behind.
Tumblr media
Soon enough, we were back in House's penthouse. Yes Man bounced on his wheel excitedly, "This is big, huh? A very big moment! I'll just take the chip now. Wish me luck!" Yes Man inserted the chip into a slot on his chest, and his screen went blank for a moment before the chip was ejected from the slot. He then reinserted the chip into the console in front of the screen Mr. House used to show his face on, and the securitron body seemed to shut down.
There was a pause, for a moment I was worried it hadn't worked, but then Yes Man's smiling face flickered onto the giant screen, "Wow! Mr. House had quite the setup here! I can access his databanks and telemetry on every securitron on the network! Oooooh... Wait a minute! So that's what the platinum chip does! Interesting!" I raised an eyebrow, "So? What does it do?" Yes Man sounded giddy, "Mr. House had a whole demonstration planned for you! Take the elevator down to the lowest level and I'll show you what it does!"
Tumblr media
The basement was dark as I entered, but the lights quickly flicked on as I entered. Yes Man spoke from the intercom, "Step up on the platform, and we'll get this show started." The platform in question had a chair and a small table with a pair of binoculars. I took a seat and looked down at the pair of securitrons down below. Yes Man began his demonstration.
"Okay, so you're familiar with securitrons by now, obviously. I mean, some of your best friends are securitrons, right?" He laughed slightly before clearing his throat and continuing, "Our titanium alloy housing does a great job protecting our delicate electronic insides from small arms fire and shrapnel. Our left arm contains an X-25 gatling laser, quite deadly against soft targets at medium range." The securitrons on the demonstration floor opened fire with their lasers on a pair of wall targets, "That looks like fun! And for close-range suppression and crowd control, we have this handy-dandy 9mm submachine gun." The demonstration continued with the examples opening fire with SMG fire, "Nice! All of this is old hat, right?" I nodded. Impressive tech as securitrons were, I'd seen all of this on the gate guards alone. Yes Man replied, "Well, here's where it gets interesting! It turns out those are our secondary weapons! All this time, we've been running our Mark 1 operating system, which doesn't include drivers for our primary weapons! Imagine!" I leaned forward at that. I'd need a good view of what would be shown next.
Yes Man continued, "Now watch this, I'm downloading the Mark 2 OS to all securitrons on the network. Makes quite a difference!" The securitrons down below went idle for a moment, their screens going blank. When they turned back on, the old police officer faces they displayed were replaced with gruff soldier faces, "With the M-235 rocket launcher," My eyes went wide at that. The demonstration models opened fire, launching rockets at the back wall of the chamber, showering the room in debris, "We can engage ground and air targets at long range! And a rapid-fire G-28 grenade launching system makes us deadly in close-range engagements!" I braced myself against my chair as the robots fired grenades at the target wall, quickly reducing it to rubble, "Woo! Look at that! The OS upgrade also includes drivers for our auto-repair systems! Just try to hurt us now! All together, this software upgrade confers a 253% increase in combat effectiveness! Per unit! I hope you enjoyed the demonstration! You can come back up and see me or be on your way, I know you're a busy person!"
I stood up with my jaw still hanging open. House was right. With these securitrons for an army, who could even hope to topple Vegas? I turned and headed back up to the presidential suite. I'd had a long day, and I needed to think on what we should do next.

Hello there!~ First off I just wanna thank you for all the wonderful and heartfelt stories/prompts you provide on Tumblr, I always stop to read when I see any of them pop up! A big fan of your work
Tumblr media
(x) Song is here (x)
This took some research, but this prompt is based purely on what I saw in my mind’s eye as I listened and read through the lyrics. But I’m going to connect them into a story. I hope you like it~
Also, you’re adorable, I love you much~
Prompt:
-Flashback-
“Hurry!”
Back in their younger years… it seemed like a memory. Watching the scene of Sonic frantically running ahead, gripping a young Amy’s hand as she clung onto his.
Her head bobbed at the quick speed while exhaustion sweated down her closed eyes.
“Sonic.. I can’t-!…” she cried out, not able to keep up as they seemed to be desperately fleeing something.
Sonic heard something crash behind them and stopped, turning around with eyes blazing before looking ahead and seeing a robot to the front and back of them.
It rotated it’s gatling gun arm as bullets flew everywhere, splitting the two apart as they went to duck.
The moment became blurry as he saw his hand let go, and his eyes widened when he saw the streak of the bright yellow bullet highlight her eyes and trace by her.
That was too close…
Far too close for comfort…
Growing uneasy and upset, seeing Amy fall down in front of him and turn…
Her eyes squinted in fear; her body trembling…
He clenched his fist and slammed it to the ground, getting up.
“I’ll make you paaay!!!”
He started shredding through the robots, taking the one behind them down just fine, but punching and whiplashing his spin-ball attack back and forth into him. Homing attack’ing and uncurling to stop the ricochet only to spin back into him; giving the Eggbot no time to respond to the pummeling of attacks.
Sonic’s expression was a tight jaw crushed up against his teeth, a deep frown, a profound anger in his eyes…
He was so worried.
What if Amy didn’t want to be around him anymore? Never hanging out again… her moving on…
Leaving for good this time…
The possibilities plagued him, he had no idea how to convince her to stay if any of that should occur.
He didn’t want to lose her…
She turned her head in a moment of courage to stare in amazement as she saw the sparks shred through the robot’s middle, metal hide.
He leaned back from the force as it exploded, and Sonic sped through and ran off, grabbing her and rolling on the ground until stopping with his body spread out around her.
He took the brute force of the impact; if any should hit them.
Luckily, he had rolled enough away where the fire didn’t hit him, and the flying pieces of the once intact Eggbot were now scattered over the hillside, but nothing hurt them.
He pulled Amy closer after that, not allowing her to see his face as her own searched the skies but was far inside her mind…
Safe…
She felt safe…
She didn’t feel afraid anymore.
With him holding her like this… gripping her so close to him…
She held him back, lowering her head and eyes as she embraced him in return.
And at last…
He let go and relaxed.
His mind reassured that for certain… she was safe… and staying by his side.
It was a memory they both couldn’t forget.
It was too close for comfort…
It was a defining moment for both of them…
Amy deciding to stay, even when the danger would be great on her life.
And Sonic… realizing he didn’t… no,… couldn’t lose her.
-Another time-
Sonic walked with a bit of a wobble as he caught his balance on a brighter green hillside, where Amy happily followed after him.
“Destiny?” Sonic turned his head upward, thinking about that. “You mean your silly little cards told you we’d meet someday?” he halfheartedly looked over his shoulder before frowning to concentrate on not falling or rolling down the hill.
With his arms spread out, he almost tumbled and flailed his arms a moment, making Amy giggle as she seemed to carry perfect, and elegant balance.
She confidently strode further up to him as she kept her feet, one in front of the other, perfectly graceful and refined. “The cards don’t lie, silly! Hehe~ Someday, you’re going to respect me! And when you do, we’ll be married!” she lifted a leg up and put her hands together by her cheek, dreaming of that day.
He ‘pfft’d.
                                              “I’d call it Serendipity.”
“What? What’s that word mean?” Amy lowered her foot down and blinked, before putting a finger up to her mouth. “Serendippitiptipty.” she laughed, trying to pronounce it.
“It means a stroke of luck. A chance encounter. Normally… a pleasant one.” he stopped messing around, tapping his foot to the edge before bolting off.
“H-hey!” she reached a hand out to him, “W-wait for me!”
-Today…-
Amy walked while holding her other arm, looking forlornly towards the same hillside… having not changed in so many years…
Sonic was standing there, as if reminiscing himself, before turning to see her, and barely even standing before disappearing without a trace…
She leaned forward, shocked, but moved back as if there was no use trying to call him back, as she looked to the side of her where the wind blew the most…
Later, in the dusk of the day, their silhouettes showed them talking, before Sonic slowly started to crawl forward from where he was, and Amy’s head turned… as if surprised by the sudden action…
They seemed to be talking about… something…
-Flashback: Sonic X references-
Amy leaned against the side of the ship, staring up at a flirty Sonic, faking it for his own purposes and manipulating her into acting strange, but in that moment…
She mumbled, “Am I dreaming?”
Another memory caught hold of her drowning, and Sonic reaching for her before seeing her eyes close and her lose consciousness.
He gripped the charmed bracelet of pink shells, and pulled her to him, before Chris and Tails jumped in to see him holding her close…
They pulled the two out and Sonic gasped for air, before quickly turning to Amy.
“She’s not breath-” Tails couldn’t even finish before he moved him, and leaned down, giving Amy CPR.
The two remained silent as they watched the selfless, impulsive act that was done without even a seconds hesitation.
When Amy started breathing, Sonic pushed the sand away from her and breathed heavily, leaning his head up as Chris and Tails went in to make sure she turned over and coughed out the water.
Sonic then took off.
-End flashback-
Sonic was standing at the same beach… holding the fixed bracelets… and then taking the ones that had crumbled over time and tossing them in the sea.
Some landed by the shore in the sand… before being swept over by the gentle waves and concealed by the rolling sand sinking them farther down into their forever resting place… a hidden memory…
An untold truth that would never need to be a lie…
Sonic’s shoes scuffed the sandy beach again as he turned away, walking off…
Amy looked up from her thoughts and turned from the hillside, holding a hand to her heart, gripping it as if something powerful was pressing on her thoughts…
The wind never ceased to move…
                                                 He called it Serendipity.
                                                  She called it Destiny.
But neither was wrong, it was a memory far gone.
But never a lie. No never a lie.
As Amy watched Sonic leave the beach, hiding so he couldn’t see her.
She took one last peek before racing down and digging through the sand, seeing the shells and pieces of them, before her eyes widened; but she turned around to look off after him.
She would never understand what they truly meant.
She wondered how he kept them all this time.
He wondered… how he ever fell for them… staring at the shells still intact on his charm.
He looked to the side.
                                    How’d he fall to Serendipity?
A moment of complete chance, a fleeting second of immortality… Thanks to the memories that won’t fade away. Memories that tell him of yesterdays… where his state of mind changed forever…
Concerning Amy and…
                                         Serendipitous moments…
(I enjoyed this song and this story WAY too much XD I hope you did too, my friend! :Db GREAT Prompt request! ;3 Light angst, is that okay? lol)
