That's good! I can fall asleep just about anywhere, but I get hit with bouts of restlessness at the most inconvenient times. I know exercise isn't an option for everyone, but it certainly helps me.

Ah, did I? I'm loathe to admit it, but it completely slipped my mind. The press has upticked now that we're approaching the halfway point in the Gym Challenge. I'd lose my own head if it weren't screwed on, I think. Regardless, I hope she's getting a good sleep, haha!

Oh, trust me, if they didn't like you, they wouldn't come.

My main partner is a Charizard, he has a far higher temperature than I ever would. But they don't usually go to him, unless I'm busy. If I'm available for cuddles, to me they go.

Oh, believe me, they're even worse about my little brother. When he was younger if I left them alone for any amount of time they'd all be gathered around him. Luckily Sol has some sense to keep him from ACTUALLY being crushed, but they sure did try!

// Okay this one I'm going to talk a bit about just. Kind of general thought on him.

It has ALWAYS annoyed me when people make Leon dumb. He is not dumb. He is anything but. You don't get an undefeated record by being dumb.

And this kind of ties into the last post, as well, because I feel like even in-universe there would be a sort of idea of him not necessarily being academically smart. People who don't actually know him are surprised by just how intelligent he is, because they're expecting Dumb Jock Supreme, and he's not. He's Goofy, he's silly, he messes around and makes stupid choices. But being stupid isn't the same as being dumb. Leon is an INCREDIBLY intelligent man.

This is a big part of the reason I started headcanoning him as being into classic literature and theatre, is because it was a really funny idea to me of him posting some image of him and his Charizard snuggled up on the couch with a book of Shakespeare, and everyone in the comments being just. Astounded by this. Also, look at that man. You can't tell me he isn't a theatre nerd.

Let's go with Leon and his schooling, because it's something that is REALLY important to his character but I haven't really gotten the chance to talk much about it.

The way the UK schooling system works, you have your Early Years, your Primary Education, and then Secondary Education. Secondary Education ends in stage four, at sixteen years of age. After that, it's up to you how you continue your education, but it's required until you're eighteen. This is usually done by either pursuing Further Education in Sixth Form, or by taking on an apprenticeship.

Leon did the latter. I bet you can't guess who he was apprenticed too.

For basically the entirety of secondary school, Rose sponsored Leon's education. However, once he was out of there, Rose encouraged him to take on an apprenticeship rather than going on to sixth form. This was mostly done both so Leon was, again, closer to Rose, and so that Leon could focus on training instead of his schooling.

Leon had wanted to continue schooling. He wanted to go to university originally, but he never did.
