Great question! Everything I make that's my own and not a reblog is under "my posts", every bit of art I do is under "my art", any game development I do is under "gamedev", you can find all my MLP art under "mlp, my art" or "horsecomix" for the best stuff. I also have an "animations" tag and a "shitposts" tab. I also properly tag all my asks to be asks and write out the asker's name, so if you don't wanna see those just mute the ask tag.

I use FireAlpaca do make my assets! Astral Guard, Happup, and any other top-down RPG games I make are all made in RPGMaker 2003. Susan Taxpayer is made in SMBX2 Beta 4, a Mario fangame engine with lua support!

I love it! I think it's cute. I really don't agree that there was some sort of huge quality drop after season 2 or whatever.

Not my style! I don't really like either animation types and it just seems like I'm not in the audience anymore. That's totally chill, but it just doesn't grab me!

Nope! But I did see a compilation called Minty Being Autistic for Six Minutes Straight that I loved. she's perfect.

I'm so bad at picking favorites! But any season past Season 1 I have a blast with because I feel like it's just more my style. I don't have a favorite episode, but the most recent one I can remember LOVING is the one where Starlight bottles up her emotions because it was REALLY funny.

I think it's super weird but really fun because of that. I've never properly read any of it but it's very fascinating to me.

Yep! I go by she/her, I'm a trans woman. Have been for many years, but I only recently came out online!

I'm actually very comfortable with my body and I have been for many years, so I don't know if I can give any good or helpful advice on that front. if not obvious, this is a rp/askblog for the pokepasta Blue Tears , based on the original story and the remake & ROM hack.

this blog will not be art based, but it will contain art if i have time for it. it will be mostly textbox based/ replied will be given in textbox form, and most of the art will likely be official game freak art that was slightly edited if at all. there will also probably be a good deal of narrative replies/writing if i don't have time.

Blue is self aware

There seems to be some kind of vague difference between "BLUE" , your rival, and "TEARS", the one who kills RED over and over.

At some point, BLUE was forced to face Missingno, which correlated with his gaining awareness.

According to OAK, his parents died in a vicious Pokemon attack. He blames BLUE for this, as his parents had left the young boy at his lab out of worry that he'd get hurt, and had therefore felt more confident in taking a more dangerous trip.

OAK harbors guilt related to aforementioned incident. And on the topic of OAK, he is also self aware—he was from the start.

this is a sideblog that was originally just for reblogs of svt/kpop stuff but i started running it as an update blog in late 2019. caratblr and kpop tumblr in general used to be really active when i first got into kpop, but over the years more and more people left for twitter or became inactive in general due to life stuff. when all the general svt update blogs became inactive i didn't want to see caratblr die, so i thought, fine, i'll do it myself >:3

unfortunately i can't speak korean so i'm not a translator, and i live on almost the exact opposite side of the world from korea so i'm not in an ideal timezone for updates. but i'm dedicated to what i do and i like to think i've gotten pretty good at scoping out information and resources about seventeen and conveying it to the tumblr sphere over the last few years :')

i like to think i'm pretty lenient with people i block, but i do have some expectations

Hi, Anonbox here! How does one open a JSAB askblog? I am planning to but I need tips on running it. I hope I don't off as desperate. :/

(No problem my dude! I will obviously be drawing from the process I personally went through in developing the characters and creating the blog, I have a preference for artwork, so if you’re going to be an exclusively text based blog, some of my advice may fall flat, but I hope I provide some helpful advice. <3

First off I’d say if you’re thinking of opening an ask blog, you’ve probably already developed your characters to a certain point. Don’t be discouraged if some of what you’ve thought up doesn’t stick. Characters often evolve organically as we use them, especially as we interact with an outside influence as we do with an ask blog. Some characteristics or mannerisms you’d never considered may start cropping up simply because it feels right for the character. I like to think of ask blogs as big character studies, exposing them to things you would have never considered and seeing where it takes you.For a time after the initial creation of the blog, it’s going to be you and your followers getting to know the world and characters. If you’re eager to initiate bigger plot elements and story lines it can seem a little frustrating and slow, but I encourage you to let yourself adjust to having the blog and discover your characters with your followers before guiding them on exciting new adventures.

Don’t burn yourself out! I’ve run a couple of other ask blogs in the past, some that lasted only a short while, and one that lasted several years! It can be exciting getting asks and wanting to reply to everything right away, but working yourself too hard in an effort to get everything done as soon as possible is a surefire way to make you hate running the blog. Some days you can get several asks answered with no issue.Sometimes it’s a struggle to get even one done. Don’t turn running your ask blog into a chore, it is supposed to be fun after all, accept that you may have to sit down some days and say “I can not do this today.” Your mental, emotional, and physical well being is more important and your followers will understand if you’re not cranking out 10 asks every night. Work at your own pace and don’t beat yourself up for being human. Letting yourself forego working on the blog can even be as simple as because you wanted to watch a film or play a game instead. Remember, an ask blog is for fun, it’s not your job.

Sometimes you will get asks that you cannot answer. Maybe you’ve received the same sort of ask several times and don’t want to essentially be making the same post 5 times. Maybe things progressed too quick and some asks aren’t relevant any more. Maybe you just don’t understand what some asks are asking you for, they’re nonsensical or vague. Maybe an ask is trying to impose a magic anon that you don’t want or know how to implement. Maybe you just can’t think of what to respond to an ask with.There is no shame in holding off on an ask for a later time, or for when they’re more appropriate, or even deleting them altogether if you feel you can’t do anything else with them. If an asker thinks it’s important enough they may send it again, giving you another chance to properly answer it, or they may rework it so it is applicable to the current situation.You are allowed to put it out there that you’re not accepting magic anons or that you have trouble with or don’t want to deal with certain kinds of asks, and you are certainly allowed to ask people to stop if anyone spams you. People want to interact with you, but they need to respect your boundaries. I haven’t had any issues of these kinds but I feel this is an important concept to get out there, to askers and answerers alike.

If you’re at a loss for ideas, or have the beginnings of something you’re having trouble fleshing out, I find it helps to have someone to bounce ideas off of. An outside perspective on things can be very helpful.

Tumblr has an anti bot system in place where new blogs’ posts won’t show up in tags until they’ve reached a certain point of creating content and interacting with other users, even if it’s a sideblog. I experienced this at the start, but in the grand scheme of things it didn’t take long for my posts to start showing up in the tags. Don’t be discouraged, keep at it and you’ll be in the tags in no time. Consider using your main to redirect people to your ask blog initially. I would also be happy to give anyone’s ask blog a shout out to get the ball rolling in the dark times before tumblr decides you’re allowed in the tags. :)

Don't worry about it)" - i do love the idea of bhaal just NOT letting durge die. theres a certain flavour to it that is just *chefs kiss*. can you imagine running into the guy you killed and he's just fine. how awkward would that be. even funnier that you can recruit him after. no hard feelings?

"also pushes him closer to reclaiming his position as Bhaal's Chosen when that comes up" - oooh yes very into the idea of how you absently talk to companions impacting the choices they make later in their personal quests. one climactic "no dont do the bad thing!" never made sense to me if its not backed up by how conversations went before.

"He in general disapproves of both kindness for kindness's sake and cruelty for cruelty's sake." - one of my favourites. great potential for one of those "kind of an asshole but i still like him" sort of characters.

General:

1. Where can your Tav be recruited?  Are they first encountered on the Nautiloid, or in the Nautiloid crash region?  Or are they not recruitable until a later act? Kyvir would be on the nautiloid, out cold in front of a completely wrecked pod. If the player chooses to wake him up he'll lash out immediately, but (provided they don't attack him in return, in which case it becomes a fight) will quickly calm down and apologize for it and willingly join the group. If the player doesn't wake him/wakes him and attacks him he can be found in the Grove (yes, even if the player kills him. Don't worry about it), where a certain bard is mysteriously absent...

4. What sort of general actions raise or lower their approval? He generally approves of fucking with people; mischievous responses, playful lying, stuff like that. He'll also approve of demanding rewards for helping anyone outside their group and supporting the rest of the party without hesitation. And of course he approves of killing, but only if you can justify it; he disapproves of mindless slaughter, and after the Bhaalspawn reveal disapproves way way more of any suggestion that he ought to enjoy that sort of thing (it also pushes him closer to reclaiming his position as Bhaal's Chosen when that comes up, in case you were wondering). He also disapproves of having an opportunity for a good justified slaughter and not doing it. He in general disapproves of both kindness for kindness's sake and cruelty for cruelty's sake, although he approves of anything that helps birds.

9. Does your Tav have any escalating conflicts with one of the other companions, like Lae’zel and Shadowheart’s knife-fight? With Karlach, though only in act 3. I'm not entirely clear on how the "Oh yeah you were one of the originators of this whole plan" reveal would work with Durge as a companion, but Karlach takes it... understandably not well that Kyvir and Gortash were super close, and Kyvir takes her anger equally poorly because while he doesn't really remember Gortash he does instinctively know there was a reason he liked and trusted him so much. They come close to blows immediately after the inauguration and come close to killing each other after the death of Orin/Gortash (whichever comes first), with the details of the latter incident changing based on which Chosen dies first, whether the player is allied with Gortash and whether Kyvir is Bhaal's Chosen or not (if Orin died first), and even if the player successfully talks them down their previously close relationship never really recovers. Also, if you're romancing both of them then after the inauguration they will demand you choose between them.

Romance:

1. Is your Tav a romanceable character?  Are there any specific requirements to romancing them? Yes, although he's gay as fuck so you have to be a guy. There's basically nothing you can do to lock off his romance (outside of romancing someone who isn't open to polyamory, obviously), this man is... uh, I think "desperate for affection" is the best way to put it.

2. Does your Tav need to be flirted with to start the romance, or will they approach the PC themselves if approval is high enough? He'll flirt a bit right from the start and will approach the PC basically as soon as he's at good approval as long as he hasn't been actively shot down. I repeat: desperate.

12. Free space! Share anything from your companion!Tav au! If the player chooses to call him a monster after the inauguration (perhaps in the confrontation with Karlach I mentioned) but doesn't kick him out of the party (which is of course an option), he'll be clearly heartbroken (although trying to hide it)... but approve.

1. Name a game that is really important to you.

This is probably the obvious answer but honestly? Kingdom Hearts. It’s been part of my life for so long, I don’t know who I would be if I’d never played it. To be more specific and pick an individual game, let’s go with Birth By Sleep. Not only was it the first time we really got to play as a girl in KH but also at the time it came out, I had just been diagnosed with depression and was having trouble dealing with it. Playing BBS got me out of my head just enough to keep it together. I was able to latch onto Aqua as a role model of an older person (as in, not a child) who still struggles and makes mistakes but keeps fighting anyway.

3. Recommend a game to the asker.

Hmmm I’m trying to think of a game I’ve played that you haven’t. OH YEAH you haven’t played The World Ends with You, right? I definitely recommend that to basically anyone. I’m sure you know a little bit about it already, but to make this a proper rec I’ll talk about it a little. 

The World Ends with You is about a young boy named Neku who finds himself in an alternate Shibuya with no idea who he is or how he got there. As it turns out—he’s dead, and is now a Player in the Reaper’s Game. He and his partner Shiki, an aspiring fashion designer with self-confidence issues, have seven days to win the Game and earn a chance to come back to life. But Shibuya is full of secrets, and it seems that someone else might be playing a game of their own...

TWEWY is a Square Enix JRPG with character designs by Tetsuya Nomura, so it’s pretty easy entry for someone who already likes Kingdom Hearts. It has interesting and complex characters, unique touchscreen gameplay, kickass music, and an awesome story. It’s one of my favorite games of all time and I can’t wait for the Switch remaster. 

19. Name a game you have never beaten.

This is kind of embarrassing because I run a Persona sideblog but... Persona 3 ._. I got like 95% of the way through a male!MC run in P3P intending to finish and play again as fem!MC but uh. I sort of. Accidentally spoiled myself for the ending. And I got sad and upset and scared and then I wasn’t able to pick it back up. I still have every intention of finishing it eventually but I just can’t seem to burn my dread. :(
