The four fifth-years huddled around the piece of parchment.

It had taken years of their time, almost the entire time that they had already spent at Hogwarts, but it was almost done.

“Right, boys, we just need to sign now,” James said pompously. “Moony, you first- you came up with the idea.”

Remus nodded, dipping his quill into the pre-prepared magical ink, then signing his nickname.

He grinned with relief as the parchment seemed to absorb the ink, and his signature vanished. “Thank Merlin it works, I was sweating my tail off back here.”

James clapped his hands excitedly. “Alright, Moons, choose who signs next.”

Remus would have said Sirius even if his boyfriend hadn’t been looking at him with puppy-dog eyes. Being his boyfriend had perks, sometimes.

“Yes, Pads, your turn,” he sighed, rolling his eyes fondly.

Sirius cheered, pecking Remus on the cheek. “Thanks, Moonlight.”

He did the same thing that Remus had done before him, scrawling Padfoot on the sheet and watching his name fade.

“Wormy’s next,” Sirius said, grinning at James’s look of betrayal and disbelief. 

“Sweet,” Peter said, snatching the quill and penning his own name, before handing the quill over to James.

“Thank you, Pete,” he said. “You’re a good friend, unlike someone.” He shot Sirius a playful glare.

Sirius stuck out his tongue. “It’s not my fault you’re always pining after Lily. Payback, Prongs.”

“Oh, fuck you,” James said in mock-anger, putting his own nickname on the parchment rather aggressively.

“No thanks, Moony’s already doing that quite well.”

“Oh, we know,” Peter said dryly. “We can hear, and no offense, Remus- your silencing charms are shite.”

“Oi, shuddup,” Remus said, flushing a deep beetroot. “We have a bit more to do.”

“The blood?”

“The blood,” he confirmed. “Now everyone stick out a finger- just a little cutting hex, and we’re done.”

James looked slightly queasy. “Are you sure we need this to finish the map?”

“If you want to add our personalities, then yes. Padfoot can confirm.”

Everyone looked at Sirius, who nodded in affirmation. “We need blood magic to infuse the Map with us. Otherwise it’s just another map.”

“Fine,” James huffed, looking away. “Just tell me when you’re done bleeding me dry.”

“We are done, Prongs,” Remus said amusedly. “Sirius was a great distraction. Now, let’s see what it does.” He pointed his wand at the parchment and muttered, “Revelio.”

Instantly, messages began to form.

Messr. Prongs is judging Mr. Lupin for forgetting the password already.

Messr. Padfoot would like Mr. Lupin to know that he looks quite dashing and intelligent today and that he would quite like to take Mr. Lupin to bed.

Messr. Wormtail would like for Messr. Padfoot to kindly shut the fuck up about Mr. Lupin.

Messr. Moony has no comment, for he is flipping Messr. Padfoot off with his incorporeal finger.

Messr. Padfoot would like to say that Messr. Moony has wounded him deeply and should now make up for it with kisses.

Messr. Prongs is attempting to strangle Messr. Padfoot with imaginary hands.

And on and on it went.

Remus whooped. “It’s working! Finally, thank Merlin.”

“I think Messr. Padfoot is right, Moons,” Sirius purred, scooting closer to his boyfriend. “You are very smart, and I would quite like to take you to bed.”

“And I think Messr. Wormtail is right,” Peter interrupted. “Stop traumatizing me, guys. I’ve already heard way too much.”

i needed to express a sentiment in the creative stylings of @dunmeshiminimumwage

I still think the photos were either an absent minded accident to where no one can be really sure who made it (several people have had access to the archives and have sorted through it over presumable many years) or deliberately planted by Rashid for Daniel’s benefits to go through the files uninterrupted. Because I think it’s a better display of how Armand is operating here simply out of a complete disinterest to be supportive, accountable to anything, or understanding of what the aim of all this is, and his care for Louis only goes about as far as himself, especially where the threat of exposure or abandonment is concerned. In short he has a disdain for this entire interview, let alone Louis history and inner struggles with it, and for selfish reason, so the photos, regardless of how they got in there, expose him of this. It clues us in about how his love is conditional on meeting his expectations of it not ending or being threatening in some way, especially where his sense of security is concerned, but he’s extremely possessive of who he loves so manipulates as much as he can to prevent this, to a point, and in such ways, it is just emotionally abusive. Though we also do see a result of when he’s offered something else that his love can shift easily to someone else if they are simply offering him all this sense of security, so his possessiveness is conditioned on the fact he has no other better options of getting his strong desires for this kind of love met.

Anyway, if it’s an accident like that, and let’s say it’s one Armand happened to have made, it falls right in line with this even more, though I think the point is we actually can’t know if this is the case of it as even he doesn’t know who did it. Though if there were any care he’d probably not point fingers at Louis who is the one who’d be least likely to have made such a mistake, but he doesn’t care and is just mad about being blamed by Louis, so does carelessly throw it out there.

And if they served a purpose of allowing Daniel to access the files for an extended period, which he couldn’t do much earlier when Raglan initially sent them over without raising suspicions, one can make the assumption that Rashid, who we find out is working for the Talamasca, did it for Daniel’s benefit so he could do so undercover.

Just my two thoughts.

very niche but, did we realize yet as a collective that if brocedes are literally louis de pointe du lac and lestat de lioncourt from interview with the vampire (2022) then, rosquez are literally daniel molloy and armand???

because i was thinking about it and even more-so in the tv show... old blonde blue eyed sarcastic extremely curious dude with two daughters that has it out (for a reason he can't pinpoint) for this doe eyed young looking mysterious even older vampire but is aroused scared by him because of the power he has on him and his memories and he doesn't quite remember that they've had a situationship 50 years prior for 12 years that totally changed his life and he's sure he has messed with his head so he hates him... and even the book canon of it all of — the age gap (of 420ish years??), their codependency, the stalking/hunting through all the world (kind of like them travelling for the races), the push and pull, the toxicity, the blood amulet, the thinking they're going to hate eachother if they both become vampires because they DON'T KNOW HOW TO VERBALLY COMMUNICATE, and then not seeing eachother FOR YEARS but still being madly in love? but being just too stubborn and proud to overcome their stupid problems.

even the idea that marius tried his best to convince daniel that armand hated him for forcing him to turn him in a vampire, and not quite really succeeding? HELLO??? RINGS A BELL???? (i did not just compare alessio salucci to marius did i?)

It just bugs me when the fandom treats Tails as a baby who has sonic as his daddy. Tails may be younger than sonic, but that doesn't make him a helpless diaper baby that needs sonic to wipe his ass. Tails was living on his own even before he met sonic..he has multiple workshops and creates glorious inventions and kicks badniks ass.

I'm not really broken up about people making fanon aus or whatever. But the amount of times there's like a new Tailstube or whatever and someone goes "OMG see! This is the proof that Tails is a 5 year old baby boy that Sonic is actively teaching to read and is practically parenting! All sega needs to do now is make him stay home and go to school and act more like Sonic's kid brother!!🥰" while Sonic and Tails are chilling in one of Tails multiple homes that Tails owns and allows Sonic to crash at

Or the amount of animations/comics that give him Cream's speech patterns, make him naive af and oblivious to "adult" things like *checks notes*...kissing(?), a gremlin baby child who can't stand losing games to Sonic, actively say "it's basically canon that Sonic actually owns Tails' shit", claim (incorrectly) that classic Tails was an infant child that Sonic picked up and started raising, etc, meanwhile everyone glazes up op talking about how so super canon that is and how that stuff basically canonically happened...

It's just kind of staggering. To me it could not be more clear of a case of people needing their fanon to be "basically canon" so they can feel like they're justified for liking it and so they can justify alienating people who don't share the same headcanons as their illusionary majority

Okay apparently there was a whole thing last year of someone talked to Chris Stack after seeing him Stereophonic and he said he was invited to film IWTV s3 in April, but he couldn't because of another project, which we now know is Stereophonic's West End run beginning in May. So multiple thoughts. For one, that seems to confirm at least some Nola flashbacks, since I doubt they'd only film one or two and have him be in one, though of course anything's possible. I figured there would be Nola flashbacks but it's cool to have some strong suggestion that there might be several. And maybe now he can do it! Since the filming would be happening when the show is running rather than in rehearsals. I also wonder if filming was initially supposed to BEGIN in April, or if it was beginning earlier and he was just being brought in in April? Maybe it suggests filming was supposed to start earlier, since if they film the episodes in order, you'd think Nola flashbacks might be in the second half of the season, at least. Plus there was what that person told you about Sam being on call to start filming by February, though I wonder if that was definitely to start filming or that he was on call to work on other things. If they were supposed to start filming in April, then April to June is not a big shooting difference. Though I guess even Feb 1 to early or mid-June isn't a HUGE difference, it's four months, so...who knows! And of course we don't REALLY know how long it takes them to make the show, they've never had a "normal" production season, so that doesn't tell us that much. Hmm.

That's super interesting about Chris Stack, anon, and if it's true, definitely seems to imply that there are going to be a few NOLA flashbacks, which deeeelights me, haha.

I actually don't think the person I know was wrong? I deleted my original post about it for y'know. Reasons. But the producer I know had spoken to his Aus agent, who said Sam wouldn't be available due to IWTV from end of Jan/the start of Feb at the latest, which - given it seems like he's been in America since the first week of Feb recording and rehearsing - has been true? I think I might have misinterpreted that (full disclaimer!), to be about filming, but that could be a Sophie Fuck Up as opposed to the person I know being wrong, because they were asking in the context of his schedule to film something else, not to know the schedule for the show.

But yeah! I guess we'll find out soon enough given April's literally tomorrow, haha.
