You know what, the Fairly OddParents fandom has been quite tame. Let's spice things up a little bit.

Doesn't anybody else get that silly feeling when you see fanart of Peri being like a father to Dev, like... where's the rest of you 😍? Don't be shy, show us where Dale is. Or are you too scared? (I wouldn't blame you, I was too at first)

I would like to quickly apologize to the 6 people shipping Peri with Dale. I thought I was the only one but it seems like I've finally found my people. Anyways, back to the topic.

Now that you're here, I may as well show some more art of these two goobers +some silly headcanons. These are my AUed* versions of the two in my odd semi-realistic style that I completely ditch whenever I don't have the patience to draw faces (I often suck at drawing them. No wonder all my OCs are furries)

Note: him being slightly chubby and him having mobility issues are both headcanons I have shamelessly borrowed from others in the fandom. Also am I the only one who thinks Peri WOULDN'T be 6 ft tall? In the series he's like 5 apples tall, so wouldn't it make sense for him to be a bit short?

Note: there's like a bunch of lore explaining the reason why Dale looks so fucked up in my version. I scarred him for life, oopsie! But at least he has Peri now who "forces" him to go to therapy 😍. I may need to make a seperate post where I only talk about him and his past if I have the motivation.

I know a lot of you don't even know the pain of trying to convert a stylized character into a realistic style and still making them look good and kinda recognizable. I envy you who have less realistic art styles.

*And yes, I did say AU. More specifically I'm talking about the "Missionaries of Eden AU" (by me). I'm not gonna go into detail now, but basically it's a semi-biblical and more serious take on FOP, where the fairies are angels, anti-fairies are demons and pixies... I think they can stay as pixies, or maybe they're ghosts, bees? (There's a lot of things I still need to figure out) Their tasks are to work as missionaries on the planets of Eden (planets where life exists). There's a bunch of other lore (some of which I've explained on my casual/personal account on Instagram), but it's best I leave it for another time.

Btw: if you've seen me talk about a "Below the Stars AU", "Bible AU", "Ager DLC" or something else, it's all just the same thing. I just had a hard time coming up with a good name for it lol.

Also speaking of which, I have another post coming up (hopefully) where I explain my reasons for shipping Peri and Dale. It can honestly, out of context, seem like a toxic yaoi crack ship, but believe it or not but I managed to make it the opposite; plausible AND healthy. I want to enlighten you all plus I really want to yap about them.

It feels super funny to ship such a underrated ship. I'm used to shipping semi-popular ships, so to now be all alone feels kinda fun! They have so much potential and so few are seeing the vision?? Though to be fair I'm also glad it's not that famous lmao.

I tried to rewrite my bullet points from my google doc to sound... nicer and more professional, but it didn't feel right. So y'all are getting the raw unfiltered version from when I infodumped about this in a discord chat, hope you like it :)

ONE . He has big overarching aspirations, but also mad depressive episodes. These get in the way of him completing his goals and also make things fuzzy along the way.

He's got this big city, big social change, all of these huge goals and life paths he wants to follow. And there are times where he's really set and driven on working on it! Especially when people are egging him on, like when he was a cardinal. I imagine he had a lot of sustained manic or hypomanic episodes while he was a cardinal.

Being very dead set on a goal, possibly losing sleep over it, putting all of your time and effort on it...Also however you want to interpret the cream pies comment (sexual or food) it both lines up with something a manic person would do. SO.

I think once he's in the ministry again / papa his depressive episodes started getting harder & his manic episodes more. Erratic.

He had less people pushing & supporting him towards his goals / what he was really passionate about, so he was just . Really bitter and pulled away from people. You see a lot more of his irritable and generally temperamental side come out during this time bc like. When he has manic episodes he has so much energy to use up but nowhere for it to go! Sometimes being really angry with something can trigger a manic episode, and I think he might be prone to doing things really excessive/extreme all of a sudden to spite people. If that makes sense. Like the decision to ditch the papa robes, things like that.

Also iirc, when he was a cardinal he was really over indulgent. That is very common for manic episodes; it's very common to  develop substance abuse issues as well. I think he could be a borderline alcoholic, but he's pretty good at hiding it. Definitely better at hiding it than when he was younger, but the habit is worse when he's older

I kinda wanna talk about Terzo possibly being like, a pretty angry person. And this is definitely projection LMAO. He very much presents himself as a guy who probably doesn't have angry outbursts and such, but I think that. Well. If he's bipolar that is NOT true ok. When I thought about this the first time I was like "would he punch walls? No. His mom raised him better than that. But God does he want to break stuff"

I feel like part of his reclusiveness is to keep up this image he has to everyone-- you can't judge him or form an opinion of him in his off time if you don't see it. So you don't see him getting drunk, you don't see him being depressed, you don't see him getting mad, but god it is happening all the time

I just feel like, like, you could argue he has this sudden shift in personality at a certain point. Or maybe at multiple points. In regards to how he felt about his goals at least. Esp bc I resonate so hard with the thought that he didn't want to be the machine-man (from Metropolis, 1927), but he had to, and I feel like being bipolar explains that so so well. Facing adversity he'd get so pissed about it, but he would only let that stop him for a little bit. But he'd also wouldn't be able to make the kind of progress he did before (like drawing up blueprints or plans) because he doesn't have that same well of outside energy & support to tap into

I think being Papa ruined his mind .

I don't know I can only compare this in my mind rn to my mom looking at me when I was like, 5 years old or something and telling me she was going to become an archeologist and move to Egypt. Like she was so so sure of herself that it was going to happen. Obviously it fuckin didn't,

Also also. I feel like he's not diagnosed bc I feel like it's more likely to be missed in men. Also I want to give him migraines even though it's less common in men but slightly more common with people who are bipolar and also bc it is GENUINE projection but I think the idea of Omega walking in and seeing Terzo hidden in a bundle of blankets with all the lights off like "is this a depression cocoon or a migraine cocoon" and Terzo just kinda shifts the blanket around and you see him wearing this funny as fuck eye mask. And Omega is like "migraine cocoon, got it" and just fucking leaves

Did he shave his head once and regret it? Yes. Did he get addicted to cocaine? Probably. Did he spend all of his money on model city pieces? At least twice.

I think in the end it's entirely possible he bought into everyone's ideas that maybe he is the one who should be worshiped

listen dean certainly isn’t an unproblematic saint in this relationship specifically, but sam is SO MEAN??? ALL THE TIME??? and I know it’s because especially in the early seasons he associates dean with his dad and him and john never got along because they were too much alike, blah blah blah, whatever,  it’s still not cool to project your trauma onto other people and take it out on them. 

will I ever be over 9.13? no. no I will not, because that was the cruelest thing that could have maybe ever been said to dean, and yeah again, trauma, whatever, but like......... if you’ve been traumatized and your response is to purposefully emotionally devastate someone that you know 1) had no malicious intentions and 2) is emotionally unstable and perpetually suicidal, I’m allowed to hate you wtf??? 

sam knows NOTHING about his brother. 

like ok in the fic that I’ve been writing somebody was like “it’s very in character but edgier but dean didn’t hate john” and listen, I TRULY think that dean hated him in canon. yeah, even in s1. watch 2.01 again, watch the episode where john is possessed by azazel, the dream root episode, I think it’s 12.22 that speech with mary, but like, especially on my rewatch, I cannot read their relationship as anything other than at that point neither one of them liked each other. something happened in between sam leaving and dean coming to get him, and dean went searching for john out of obligation and an excuse to see sam. 

you can’t convince me that john liked dean. of course he loved him, a familial obligation was deeply ingrained in that man, but I don’t think he liked dean at all. I think dean reminded him of mary, I think he thought dean was too soft, and to be completely honest, I don’t think he liked that dean listened to him so easily. john wanted to be in charge, obviously, but he’s such an antagonistic fuck always looking for a fight with somebody, that it probably bothered him that dean didn’t really push back. john didn’t think he was assertive enough, dean just didn’t want to be used as a punching bag, and I’ve always figured there was some sort of blowout after sam left between the two of them and they didn’t really talk much after that. “it was the worst night of my life” is what dean called the night sam left for stanford, and while his little brother leaving would’ve been devastating, I don’t think that alone would qualify it (in season 5, mind you, after hell and the hellhounds and everything) as the worst night of his life. I also think that’s why john was such a POS in s1 when they found him, giving dean shit for the impala, y’know. god, I really fucking hate him lmao

nobody seems to agree with me on this, but sam is very much his father’s son, and that’s why they never got along. the two of them were so much alike (and so self-centered) that they couldn’t help but butt heads together because they both wanted to be the center of attention, and also just enjoy picking fights. and like, I think this is a big reason why dean has a harder time being honest with sam than sam has with being honest with dean. because dean sees john when he looks at sam, and sam just sees dean. and sam’s like “why don’t you talk to me dean” and dean probably just hears his dad making fun of him for being honest or talking about his feelings or yelling at him. 

familial/generational trauma genuinely makes it hard to interact in meaningful and productive ways, I get it, believe me I do, but sam is just so... cruel sometimes? and I think dean really worked his way through a solid portion of that trauma by the end of the show, and I don’t think sam ever really did.

Dean: All right, you want to be honest? If the situation were reversed and I was dying, you'd do the same thing.

SAM [very softly]: No, Dean. I wouldn't. Same circumstances...I wouldn't. I'm gonna get to bed.

see, when I say sam is cruel, this is the shit I’m talking about because that is a bald faced lie and sam knows it. he said it specifically to hurt dean. he didn’t mean it, and he fucking knows that, but he knows that it will devastate dean to hear that, so he says it. 

anyways, sam fights dirty all the time. it’s 2024 now and I have no notes for past me, she was right.

Brief hint of the angels protecting Mary! Makes sense, it's never clear how she's defended from specters. Also lol at Mary's reaction to Angelica going "we tried to kill Lyra". The show's portraying her a little more sympathetically, especially as the mob violence scene was a lot shorter.

I would be very uncomfortable with a bunch of strange women doing interpretive dance over me. Sorry the healing spell is so much weirder in the tv version Will.

Pan is leaning against his shoulder! Guess it's ok because he's wearing a shirt.

Mrs. Coulter seeing someone who got their soul devoured: I could use this

Love Lord Boreal quietly shutting the door and hiding while she confronts the specters

"If we die, we're of no help" want to bet, two characters who will show up as helpful ghosts later

So we're tying Mrs. Coulter's power over the specters to her separation ability/ability to suppress parts of herself. I guess that's also the angle we'll be taking when she cons Metatron. Yes I accidentally typed angel instead of angle at first. Then I did it again.

Getting poisoned sucks, Boreal, but look at it this way. She could've sicced the specters on you. This way is kinder.

John Parry can psychically command birds. Why? IDK man he just can. Don't worry about it.

Why I disliked Stranger Things 3, because I feel like having a good rant:

- [ ] Right off the bat the costume design, the whole set, and the color grading reeks of when you google search what the 80s is. They completely ditch the film-grain, muted Midwest vibe which is part of the charm and fits the setting of small-town Indiana.

- [ ] The character dynamics are completely botched for comedy. For example, Hop is increasingly toxically masculine in his behaviors towards Joyce and her trauma with Bob, when he’s drunk he slams open Eleven’s door expecting Mike when Max was there (wtf would have happened if Mike was there?), and made Mike lie to Eleven. The Elmax friendship (WHICH I LOVE VERY MUCH, DON’T GET ME WRONG) reeks of feminism written by men. Suzie is such a random character that if you put her in season 1 of stranger things it would make NO sense.

- [ ] The stereotypical Cold War plot line that bled into season 4 that just didn’t feel realistic at all, along with the weird patriotic undertones

- [ ] The fact that Eleven’s trauma was erased all of the sudden and now she’s a normal girl who just so happens to have quirky mind abilities. Actually, every character was treated as if they didn’t have trauma in that season until the end lmao

- [ ] Billy redemption arc as if he wasn’t abusive towards Max and was racist towards Lucas????

- [ ] Will’s only trait the whole fucking season is touching the back of his neck and being like “Guys… something’s wrong..” (Next season did not fix this at all)

- [ ] The overall issue of Stranger Things not wanting to say Will is GAY but also somehow making it the only thing about him that’s interesting? I wish we got to know the inner workings of why he’s so stuck in his childhood because of his week in the Upside Down. They don’t delve into Will’s character with the nuance I’m looking for. He still feels like a plot device.

- [ ] The whole blockbuster vibe of it all just throws me off

- [ ] The monster was just a CGI blob, only interesting part of the “evil” was the possession aspect of the season.

I think that’s about it. Overall such a weird season and season 4 attempted to clean up the mess and bring back elements from season 1 but it just isn’t what it used to be after season 3. It changed the entire tone of the show in such a haphazard way.

Six so far!

57,991 —which might not seem much but still, very proud of it, specially because a year ago, I wouldn’t have dreamed writing that many words.

3. What fandoms do you write for?

So far only marauders, but I have some drarry/golden trio era in the making, as well as some PJO and GO so, we’ll see!

4. What are you top 5 fics by kudos?

Since I don’t have that many I’ll only put my top three:

Archenemies (or so he thought) -> Sirius hunts down his bestie James for ditching him on a prank and finds him cuddling with the enemy (a black cat) who turns out to be more of a pain in the ass than he expected, especially because for some reason, the little shit acts a lot like his brother.

Don’t threaten me with a good time -> Ah, Black cats, mischievous little things, aren’t they? Known for being a pain in the ass for older brothers, a good companion for best friends and devil incarnated for lovers and love ones alike.

When it rains -> It all comes down to a certain bus stop on a rainy week. Between interesting chats, pastries and being almost ran over by a purple car, there’s something about the person they share the bus stop with that seems familiar. (Basically a bunch of meet-cutes and pinning idiots being, well, idiots)

5. Do you respond comments? Why or why not?

I do, yes! I love responding to comments but sometimes I tell myself I’m going to answer later in the day and I forget :( but I do love comments, they make my day every time. 💘

6. What is a fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?

Hands down it will be slow dancing in the dark, the whole fic is quite angsty, at least for me, but I wouldn’t say it has a angsty ending, maybe a little— nvm I just re-read it. Yeah, it’s sad.

7. What is a fic your wrote with the happiest ending?

My babygirl some sunny day, that fic is my go-to when I remember this fandom is based in death, angst and misery hahaha. Some sunny day is like a, well, a ray of sunshine lmao. It has my favorite setting, my fave pairs and some Spanish here and there. Love it dearly.

8. Do you get hate on fics?

Thankfully no, maybe some weird ones but nothing that I would count as hateful. Really grateful for that, dunno what I would do if I were to receive those on a daily basis, never post again most likely lmao.

9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?

Haven’t post smut yet but I wrote some, still in the doc and everything but is there, waiting to be posted 😈

The empire of the sun trilogy jsjsjs maybe I’ll finish the first one but the other two seem pretty far away for me right now, but one never knows so.

I believe I give a solid characterization and maybe storytelling (?? Inner monologue maybe? love to see the chaos i created in my little puppets.

Run on sentences, I’ve been told I tend to do that a lot hehe and comas —also it costs me greatly to just write, if I’m not in the mood it’s hard for me to just go for it.

1000% I’m favor. Some of my fics have French/Spanish in them, I like the idea of leaving non-spanish speakers to go to the end notes or to google translate or straight-up wonder what the hell I’m talking about jsjsj

anyway bc im fully into my periodic undignified nightly word vomit marathon let me list things im interested in and see if i can figure out smth abt myself thru it okay i really want to:

Photography. I like photographing things especially wildlife and birds. i actually think im rlly decent in taking pictures of inanimate things BUT i cannot take a picture of someone for the life of me i canr master people’s angles. Since im studyinf architecture i think wildlife and architectural photography are really cool, especially random interesting things you may take pics of.

If i get more into this i think i can actually be a rlly good photographer but again consistency lol, which i lack.

guitar is becoming rlly attractive to me. when beirut started getting struck on the daily i learnt li beirut on the piano and i was actually quite decent you know? but i ditched it if i hadnt id be playing it rlly well right now but i also discovered it’s actually a piece composed by a Spaniard during the spanish civil war about some gardens there and idk but it’s such a beautiful piece to me and it reinforces my belief that Mediterraneans share the exact same culture and soul but in different frequencies i cant explain it

i like drawing but ironically enough for an architecture student sketching more organic shapes is easier for me than just doing straight lines and perspective. I hate drawing in perspective and i rlly love the creativity that comes with painting and animation, even landscapes sound better to me. I dont draw or sketch daily but maybe I should start doing so bc my drawing is stuck halfway between good and bad and i feel consistency would do me a whole lot of good. I have potential and drew a lot as a kid, and i want to get into painting and charcoal mediums too

im immersing myself in Spanish bit by bit. I feel in love with it and listening to music in spanish has rlly helped me, as did random translations thru google extensions. I will say that knowledge of etymologically latin words in english does help though. But again im not consistent. I’m interested in in Japanese and Russian, but im starting to warm up to french and german (Dark converted me). I tried to learn Hebrew for a year and I can pretty much understand from 1/8 to 1/4 of any written thing depending on the context but the only material abt me to read there is genocidal mania and i have enough of it in English so i just stopped lmao maybe i should return to it. Im not interested in communicaring w it just understanding so i think a year of learning would be enough

Animation sounds extremely interesting, id love ro dabble in it in the future. Graphic design is also sort of appealing especially in the architectural field and presentation

Tatreez requires a high attention span which doesn’t sound ideal for me but i may give it a shot in the future somebody ought to preserve our traditions

Horse-riding 😍😍😍 I just feel like riding a horse and feeling the wind blowing thru my hair would be a healing experience. When i get strong enough in the gym (and get my drivers licence 🥲) i will try it. But rn i have zero core strength and a horse could jump and send me flying into the air

Finally writing and character desigm. I mainly want to learn to draw so i can visualise my own characters but the only thing im actually consistently good at is character building and development.

Buuutt I'm here back with my meru rambling teehee, I've been thinking about him and kaname a lot

1) thinks about. kaname at some point waking up and meeting the reader in coffee cups and the absolute mindfuck and shenanigans that happen after. It would either "why are fucking my brother." or he looks up to you? Somewhere in the middle ground? Kana waking up and being back in sync is definitely a pot hole of itself but it's a fun thought

2) hi. bunny meru. been thinking about him again and. Just imagining putting on the outfit he has on or some sort of alternate outfit. It's such an outfit but I think it would be fun to wear ya know? boobs might be a problem but hey and plus himeru yume goes crazy I need to see his reaction to reader putting on the thing

3) do you ever stop and think about how kaname is butterfly coded and oremeru is moth coded. yeah

yesss... rambling! i've been so busy lately, this feels like a real treat. i much prefer to think about kaname and meru than about biochemistry lmao thanks for always sharing your thoughts with me <3

1: “why are you fucking my brother” lmaooo don’t tempt me to actually put that line in a fic. But yeah, I’ve been thinking about that scenario as well. it’s probably the biggest thing I haven’t actually decided on whether I should have that happen in the series or not. It’s so tempting and I have a lot of thoughts on what could happen in that scenario, but also I’m worried that the sheer amount of issues that would arise with that development might be a little too much to properly fit into the format of the series, if that makes any sense. I imagine that Kaname would be very torn between how much he looks up to his brother and being angry about meru just taking over his life and acting like he’s doing Kaname a favour. Between that and meru just being completely overwhelmed by the situation and being too emotionally inept to understand Kaname and act accordingly, I imagine the overall situation in the household to be quite tense with poor reader just stuck in the middle of it and trying to mediate. Because of course meru (being a bit of a control freak) would insist that Kaname moves in with you when he gets discharged from the hospital. Imagine being home alone with that kid while meru is at work and Kaname just constantly switches between singing the highest praises about his brother just to be grumpy the next minute, complaining that his brother treats him like a child and doesn’t take him seriously. Also, consider the following: I think the reader and Kaname would end up getting along just fine and naturally meru is happy about that and it puts his mind at ease to know that his brother isn’t lonely when he himself can’t keep him company. so everything’s just peachy, right? Think again, because when is anything involving these people ever not complicated. i would imagine that once meru thinks about it, he’d actually get jealous (a little or a lot? lol) when he considers that Kaname and him basically look exactly the same and considering the type of person he himself is and how complicated he can be, he starts to worry that reader could ditch him for his little brother. (as if they would ever lol) and of course that trainwreck of a man would not say anything and just bottle it up until he snaps and- well what would happen in that scenario might be a thought for another day (that I may or may not have a WIP about, buried somewhere in my fic folder on google docs lol)

I haven’t given up the hope that we might get some more crumbs on that whole topic soon, so I’ll be a little patient before I actually decide on whether to write about that or not.

2: I feel like if you’d actually wear his clothes secretly and he caught you, he’d try to act annoyed about it like “you’re gonna stretch the fabric” and all, but he’d also find it way too cute to actually be mad and you could tell lmao just imagine trying on the bunny ears and he just comes home and stands there in the door like 🧍‍♂️ when he see you. he’d probably be so embarrassed lol

3: … actually, I’ve never made the moth connection, but now that you point it out, he really is :o if you have any further thoughts on that, please feel free to elaborate, I have to ponder on that for a bit… also: this is a very random thought that is only vaguely connected to this (?) but do you ever think about how most people like butterflies, but at the same time think that moths are creepy? Okay first of all some regrets about writing that post in the tags 💀 didn't think I'd want to add to it

Anyways something something I'm thinking about "stop writing domestic Karabitas they couldn't be less domesticated" and, LMAO always, but also.... when you REALLY think about it, it's so real???

Things that happened in Karabita's canon TL on S1

Chibita kidnapped Karamatsu, promptly realised that his brothers weren't going to save him, felt so bad for him that he switches end goal

Except that in true madness aesthetic, he does the exact same thing but worse. Didn't even clue in Karamatsu on his plan

This ofc resulted in Karamatsu getting his ass burnes and beat. Chibita ditches him, too embarrassed by his failure

Pretty sure that's after this that we get the bald!Karamatsu episode. In true Karamatsu fashion, he seems to forgive Chibita and gets close to him.

Upon hearing that Karamatsu has ✨ NO PLANS✨ he basically forces him to become his oden cook understudy. Karamatsu's pushover tendencies landing him in hell once again BUT ALSO proof that Chibita is... yknow, like, really passionate??? unrestrained sometimes???

Then there's the flower fairy thing. Karamatau notices that something's wrong with Chibita, so he follows him and witnesses the birth of the flower fairy. Implied that he once again forgave Chibita.

He ofc gets sidetracked, tries to get his own flower fairy too, ends up in an abusive relationship that possibly ended in marriage.

Again, we see someone taking advantage of him being too timid to set a (1) boundary. But also, so much denial? The man was fully in delulu land, arguing with his brothers about there being ✨ NO PROBLEMS✨

I think a lot about the fact that, to my memory, we didn't see any of the Matsuno's in the marriage 🫤 Maybe the flower fairy knew that even the sextuplets would try to oppose the union? Definitely feels like Karamatsu was dragged into it with little to say in the matter

Then THE karabita moment of S1, Karamatsu asking Chibita to let him live with him while he gets his life in order (this was never going to happen (who said that))

All of that to say two things

S1 Karamatsu shows a worrisome pattern when it comes to relationships, both platonic and romantic (and platonic-to-romantic!? Karabita Nation: Rise)

While I'm sad that we get less interactions between those two in later seasons*, it's at least a good thing that we see Karamatsu start to develop a backbone. Thank you Choromatsu and Osomatsu for your service 🫡

* I can mainly think of Chibita's maid café skit (where once again we saw Karamatsu flabbergasted at Chibita jsjdjdj) and when Chibita solo'd the sextuplets, where Karamatsu was the first to notice that they had crossed a line by leaving Chibita fully bald + reached out to him + was also the first to realise that Chibita had infiltrated their home and was gonna hunt them down one by one

Okay time to fully put on the shipping Googles fr 🧐

I know some people were of the opinion that karabita low-key became an impossibility after Karamatsu flaking on his intention to become independent post S1, particularly because S2 implied with the very rude episode that threw shade at the Ososan fangirls, that he basically ghosted Chibita for months??? And then there's the Hatabou/Chibita fucking under the influence of a love drug thing, which is... certainly a thing that happened.

I'm of a more optimistic, and perhaps sympathetic opinion. I think that S1!Karamatsu was NOT mature enough to enter a relationship, let alone one with Chibita, who is well-meaning and loudly cares about him, but can also be... let's say 'overwhelming'. And a bit forceful. Karamatsu brings enthusiasm and devotion to his relationships, and he can be serious for periods of time, but he was better at standing up for others rather than himself.

There's also so much... trauma between those two. Chibita's flower fairy taught him to love more than oden, which in a way taught him emotional vulnerability. As someone more insightful than me said in a meta post, loving oden is safe, it can't betray you or let you down, but it can't fulfill the role of actually connecting with people. After the flower fairy dies (SHE DIES), Chibita says that oden tastes more salty. His worldview expanded, which gave it the potential to be more fulfilling but also made it more vulnerable, more complicated.

Then on Karamatsu's side, well, abusive marriage. I think that in S1 he would've still been a bit in denial about the true nature of his relationship... dumbass is definitely the type to romanticise things to cope. Low-key I think his shades must be rose tinted what with the way he misses all red flags.

But by S2 and especially S3, we see that a lot of these, er, reconstructions of reality that he willfully believes are kind of falling apart. He's TIRED of being taken advantage, he's seen acknowledging that he has regrets, that being a NEET is starting to feel like a waste of time, but we also see him more hesitant about taking a future path. Unlike in S1, where he was desperate enough to take whatever came his way (even if it would've made him deeply unhappy, seriously why was he looking for office jobs???), we see him thinking about it seriously.

That might not be entirely positive, as I think he may be prone to paralysis by indecision, but the intention of going things with purpose and conviction is there.

What IS positive is Choromatsu encouraging him to say no, Osomatsu reminding him to just speak up when there's something bothering him, and the amazing pizza skit where he finally speaks out his honest mind even if it ruins the vibe.

So I'm thinking thinking thinking. And I think that it would be interesting to read, or try to write in my case, about a Karabita story that's set post S3. Where Chibita has seen Karamatsu's flaky side, but could also eventually see him being more reflective, more honest with himself about his shortcomings and regrets and hopes for the future, a Karaboy that's a little bit more outspoken.

A Karamatsu that perhaps felt something for Chibita but was a bit scared of his passion, that perhaps pulled away out of a fear he couldn't quite put into words, but who down the line realised that someone whose life boils down to passing time might not be a fair match to a self-made man. And maybe he's not in the place to actually do something about it, but he can at least admit it to himself, and may eventually admit it to someone else.

A Karamatsu and a Chibita that reconnect around the safe dynamic of chatting around oden and daily stupid topics, but that are worn down by it little by little, because by now Karamatasu has seen Chibita kind of change post flower fairy, but not really, still clinging to oden as a safety blanket, and Chibita has seen Karamatsu's determination from S1 fizzle out, but may also have gotten glimpses of him having an actual spine.

A story where their concern for each other remains constant, because they care, THEY CARE ABOUT EACH OTHER, and they keep mending their bond despite all the cartoonist shenanigans that happen — But where simply caring is not enough. Where the love is powerful, but is not omnipotent. Where Chibita can actually voice the fears he'd have about dating someone like Karamatsu, and where Karamatsu can be grounded enough to acknowledge that they're valid, because he has the same doubts about himself, and where he's also honouring his boundaries enough to talk about his past relationship trauma and the dynamics he'd like to avoid, because he has a history of falling into them.

i was really holding on to hope that gojo could be redeemable, but after reading her interactions with toji, a decent human being, FUCK satoru. i hate gojo and sera for victimizing themselves like he didn’t agree to this marriage. me being a toji fucker aside, i want him to take y/n from gojo. i want them to start working as business partners for her designs and gojo getting pissed off bc his wife is finally doing something she enjoys with another man. none of your characters have pissed me off more than hoejo and i just want him to suffer. he doesn’t deserve y/n AT ALL, and she doesn’t deserve the pain that he puts her through. i want her to ruin his plans of becoming the heir of the company and get a divorce. i hope she can learn to put herself and her feelings before gojo’s, bc he doesn’t deserve her love.

I just re-read chapter 5 and I’m absolutely disgusted by Gojo. I wanna rip his head off. What the hell?! Its not like the mc forced him to have sex with him and ditch sera for it. and Sera? When she called mc a liar i almost threw my phone all the way to north korea. If someone deserves to be accused for being a liar it’s gojo and no one else. Both sera and gojo are disgusting individuals and I hope they rot in hell for putting the mc in such situations because she doesn’t deserve it she deserves the whole world and more. I’m so glad that Toji appeared because he is such a gentleman and a nice person I’m happy that at least he understood her pain and was able to listen to her and when he mentioned his wife? I almost teared up. I absolutely love your writing and I hope that you’ll be able to bless us with it for a long long time ❤️

Okay I think I get what heavy angst anon to an extent. I'm good with heavy angst (I thrive on it actually uwu) but in this particular case all the stuff that makes it heavy angst also makes it really hard to root for the main pairing bc at this point I (personally) think Gojo is like, irredeemable.

On the other hand tho I also thought that about Suna in wasteland and ended up getting hit in the feels bc of the ending so who knows. u have a weird talent for making me feel bad for assholes lmao

psychoanalyzing gojo 101: underneath gojo’s superiority complex is a highly insecure man with abandonment issues, an abusive father, and a lover that he couldn’t freely show to the world. this makes him think that it’s “acceptable” to put y/n through pain bc she is always granted of everything she wanted and has a loving dad and sister, while he has to constantly prove himself to get what he wants and is disconnected with his own family. they have the same status but they didn’t live the same life. he both hates and loves that he feels powerful next to y/n and is insecure without her, thinking that his worth would not be twice as important if he didn’t marry an heiress that would make him successful. he is trying to utilize y/n the same way his dad uses him as a pawn which is why he frequently shows signs of manipulation to get what he wants. but as one anon pointed out, he only wants sera but he needs y/n. sera is a luxury, y/n is a necessity. he does not understand the true meaning of love beyond pleasures and fantasies. he rejects the idea of caring for someone who is willing to understand his darkest days. gojo, as simply put, is a selfish, stubborn, and complex individual who looks powerful and independent on the outside when in truth, he is dependent on the people he loves and is vulnerable on the inside — his dad sees through him that’s why he’s able to mess with his son’s mind.

ANON YOU GET ME DJSKSKSKS I’ve been thinking of this for like two days straight so now I will gush more specifically on like how I imagine it playing out

Like motivation wise, I can see Sam, deeply insecure about his background and feeling the need to initially conform to certain expectations of his new title, agreeing to marry a long time bedmate that caught feelings for him. Said bedmate is from a good, long-standing noble family and they both think that a union between each other will only strengthen Sam’s public perception both within Prakran noble circles and foreign ones as well

But Sam quickly is just paralyzed by this feeling of like “this isn’t me; this isn’t me; this isn’t me” but not knowing how to communicate any of this. Like even buying his title really was like a punch in the gut to his former idea of himself, and then to add something like a traditional marriage really just Fucked With Him but also peepaw isn’t about to tell people his feelings 😩

I still need to do more research than just a basic Google search BUT I’m also losing my mind over how many different ceremonies take place before the day of the wedding and just how painful it would be for Sam that he can’t call on any of his family to be there, but specifically his mother and father :’) this is an aside but WOW that hurts my little pea brain dnsjsksksk

So fast forward to the day of the wedding: Sam is both internally and externally freaking the fuck out. Lots of broken glasses and tables before he just sits there wide eyed and silent while he’s getting his makeup done. Eventually his Main Bitches™️ are like “everyone get the fuck out. You: speak. What’s going on?” And Sam just. Breaks down and is like “holy shit I really don’t want to do this. I don’t want to do this!! But literally all of Prakra is at my door step waiting for me to do this. So I’m doing this?”

And they both just kinda look at him and are like “Samir. You abandoned your entire family in a single night. If you want to abandon your own wedding ceremony, you can abandon your wedding ceremony.” And it’s just like a bolt of lighting to peepaw’s brain 🤭 And the trio plots a standard, gag filled escape from the venue before Sam makes his getaway on a white horse, undoing his braid and just cackling into the wind as his almost-husband is just. Stunned. Angry. Heartbroken. Possibly trying to tail after him :’) Like he’s making his grand entrance (also on a white horse), ready to see his husband-to-be waiting for him, only to be greeted by a bunch of awkward guests and anxious servants just like “uhhhhh……. Samir isnt. Here. :’))”

Eventually Sam makes it to the docks with his partners and is just like “Get me on the next ship out of here now.” And lays low for a few months in another country LMAO Relishing reclaiming parts of himself he thought he needed to abandon and returning home uncaring about what his reputation looks like anymore :’)

Also thinking of him in an outfit similar to this as he’s riding away but like. More makeup and jewelry to make the look a bit more GNC LOLL
