Alright tumblr, looks like I'm gonna be fairly bedbound for the next foreseeable future. Given my total lack if energy and occasionally struggling to even stay sitting, help me pick which of my story ideas I should spend the next while working on.

Your Options

1) Austistic Epistolary

This story will be an epistolary novel told by an Autistic debutant with a special interest in the creation and construction of high fashion, but who does not like new clothes, and her best friend, who is stuck out in the country for her health, as they navigate what their changing lives will look like, and hope our Debutant find a good match.

2)Singlet System Fantasy Romance

In this fantasy setting, in our Main character's village, every Summer, someone moves into a cottage down the road. She only ever stays for the summer, and has come every summer our main character can remember. They've had a crush on her for about as long. One day, our MC gets attacked by a vicious magic beasty, and is saved by the Summer lady. Except, she sounds different. And she moves different. And she certainly swears a lot more. And our MC had no idea she could do that kind of magic.

Years later, after travelling far far from their home village, our MC meets their Summer Lady. Except, this time it's winter. And this time, she is acting much more like did in the conflict with the beasty. Our MC has to find out what is going on.

Or, a story about a System with four cohosts with an unusual agreement on how to share their body gets found out, and learns to let someone get to know all of them, and maybe even have some of them fall in love.

3)Paranormal Romance with Politics (victorian or regency type setting)

Sarah knew her uncle Rowan wasnt her actual uncle. After all she was human, and Uncle Rowan was fae. Apparently her father had somehow saved uncle Rowan's life and now they are family. He's always been her favorite uncle though, he never made her feel odd. Everyone else thought she was so... different that she was a confirmed spinster by now, weighing down her younger (more normal) siblings eventual chances at a good match.

So, when her uncle comes to her and her father wanting to see if she'd be willing to marry his son and heir, who is beset by people wanting to marry him to use him and tip a very careful balance of power, she agrees. She loves her uncle, wants to help him, and besides, it's not like her current life has much of a future. And besides, she's met two of his three children and got along very well with them, so the last one can't be that bad, right?

Unfortunately it is only after she arrives in the fae realm that she learns exactly who she is engaged to: that terribly rude Fae she'd met the night of her debutant ball with whom she'd traded insults, after he spoke so poorly of her uncle.

Of course, there are some other issues as well. The politics of tbe fae realm were something Sarah's father had sheilded her from and so, while she'd known her uncle Rowan was a fae noble, she hadn't realized he was the High King. Now she finds herself engaged to a man she detests, getting ready to be the next high queen of the fae, and target of political factions who, if they can just get rid of one pesky mortal, believe they can install one of their own as the next high queen. (Enemies (ish) to lovers with political deliciousness let's goooooooooooo)

anddd now we're switching perspectives a bit, meet hades and belladonna crowe. hades is a reaper living in mourningvale with his dog, belladonna. bella passed away many years ago now, but with the help of a spellcaster she can now live on as an immortal skeleton dog!

hades was left at an orphanage in ravenwood as a newborn and spent his entire childhood there. he was always seen as the strange kid and didn't have any friends, until belladonna came along. when he was 17 he attempted to run away from the orphanage but was stopped in his tracks by a near-death experience. when the grim reaper came for the reaping and discovered a teenager- alive and well, it created an...awkward...encounter. grim took pity on the poor boy and realized he could make an opportunity out of this...one thing lead to another and hades has been working for grim ever since!

Turtles in The Roaring 20s - Raph is a famous jazz singer, Mona is a burlesque dancer from the lower class. Their love is forbidden but they are in a secret relationship.

Mission Failed - 10 or so years after the Turtles failed to save the Earth from the Triceratons, Raph now lives on Salamandria and is married to Mona Lisa. Mona constantly wants Raph to reconnect with his brothers who he hasn’t talked to since they failed their mission, but Raph refuses to listen.

Intergalactic Sisters - April is cockblocking Raph from making a move on her sister, Mona Lisa.

Mazes & Mutants - Raph and Mona Lisa are a barbarian warrior battle couple ready to ruin your day with their chaos. (that or Mona is a pirate instead of a barbarian)

Vampire AU - Raph is a vampire, Mona Lisa is a vampire hunter, hijinx issue.

Medieval AU - Raph is the Prince of the Hamato Kingdom, he falls in love with Mona Lisa, Princess of the Salamandrian Kingdom, but he is heartbroken to discover that she is engaged to his older brother, Prince Leonardo.

Princess Bride AU - Raph is Westly, Mona Lisa is Buttercup, you know the rest.

Human/High School AU - Raph is the trouble making bad boy jock and Mona is the overachieving student who is also captain of the basketball team. He's hopelessly in love with her, but Mona won't give him the time of day, but Raph likes a challenge.

Actor AU - Raph and Mona Lisa are actors for the TMNT show and they fall in love on set, being a couple in the show and in real life.

Greek Gods AU - Raph is Ares and Mona Lisa is Aphrodite (their tale and myth is slightly different from the actual one)

So the actual emotional plot between Grian and Scar is currently in heavy development, because I have So Many Feelings about this duo (/pos) and I want to make sure to fit in as much of my thoughts on them as possible in, while also making everything make sense narratively ^-^;;

(But if you want an idea of the headspace I've been in while thinking about these two specifically, here's the song I've been listening to on repeat as I think about Them: Born Without A Heart by Faouzia)

In my plot, they're both haphazardly trying to both recreate and process the memories they have of their other selves' relationships, while coming at it from completely different angles, and holding a lot of resentment towards each other based on the half-remembered wrongs done against their counterparts by the other person's counterparts.

They also forget an incredibly important point, which is that those things may have been done by versions of the other person, but the other Trials did happen in... Different Universes. Different Worlds. Those versions of them are alternate iterations of them. Not them exactly!

So Scar isn't processing that just because he has memories of DL!Grian being a cheater doesn't mean that this Grian is a cheater (he isn't! and wouldn't be!). Meanwhile, Grian hasn't connected that just because 3L!Scar betrayed him without warning doesn't inherently mean that this Scar is fickle, or untrustworthy, or any of the nasty things Grian has thought about 3L!Scar when overwhelmed by that hurt so great is passed through dimensions

And all of that, in addition to them trying to prove to themselves that they somehow have value by "getting this person who didn't want them anymore to actually want them, and stay", means that for the first part of all of this, they're going to have a messy, on-again-off-again, chaotic relationship where they're saying the same thing but they just can't hear it

And it will be a gradual shift from that trashfire of a situation to them actually understanding who these versions of Grian and Scar are as people, and settling into a much less chaotic or toxic relationship

They will get there! But the how is slightly in flux ^-^;;

Your tags on the sacrificial virgin post make me want to know everything about your OCs, especially this Ivy Rose! What's Ivy Rose like? What story holds them?

ok so! Ivy Rose Lohaun is from my story Red Eyes Take Warning, which is..... a lot. it's actually an in-universe comic series in my Eldritchverse setting, and it starts out as a parody of those generic isekai mangas, before gettting Weird as the author is unknowingly long-term exposed to eldritch horrors a little bit.

I don't have any proper art of Ivy Rose but here's what I do have... most of the RETW characters were inspired by ai gen images (*BACK WHEN AI WAS A WEIRD EXPERIMENTAL TYPEA THING) so this is his

and also this is an Arknights au version of him (he is not normally snakeboy)

and I am still sort of figuring out his lore but what I've currently got is that he inherited some sorta really rare special powers (according to my notes he is a witch, something different from mages. but I think I'm going to make it specialer than just that) and there is some sort of curse or prophecy on his family, that anyone born with those powers will die in some circumstances, and trying to evade this always results in things going really bad (possibly involving said powers?) but the curse/prophecy/whatever is vague enough that when he transes his gender, it manages to fulfill the prophecy / neutralize the curse / whatever.

anyway most of that is kind of just background lore, his actual role in the story is that. he starts out as a 'girl' in disguise as a guy (he is closeted/eggmode at this point) and under the name Lohaun he joins Gavin's party (Gavin is the classic isekai hero guy. he's also just a massive jerk) to go adventuring and stuff and also to get away from the gilded cage of richgirl life. then he gets 'found out' as a girl (this is a trope that happens sometimes where the 'crossdressing' character gets found out and then goes back to their 'real' gender like they're fine with it. I don't like this trope very much so he's like a deconstruction or subversion or smth of it.) and briefly tries just going back to girlhood, before deciding that, actually, he'd rather be a guy. so he tries out a couple different combinations of gender terms + presentations, before eventually settling on using he/they, presenting femininely, and using his firstnames and his surname interchangeably. Gavin, being the asshole he is, at first is disappointed by Lohaun deciding to identify as a boy (because the rest* of the party is sort of harem-adjacent, as tends to happen in these isekais)but then they're like "well I'm still pretty and here so does my gender really matter that much" (they don't want him to ditch them) and so he's like "alright I guess I'm 'straight with an exception' now"

*that is, the rest of the party except for 1. Emery (too beefy for Gavin's tastes, as well as too aroace and autistic to fawn over some asshole guy) and 2. Enzo/Elodie (it is 10 years old.)

I'm assuming you'd want to make something about Team Fate (my explorers team)? In that case, I don't think there's a ton of information you need to know; all of their personality traits and quirks are implied in the art I've made of them, so I don't think you could go wrong!

So basically, my pmd teams pretty much follow the canon personalities they have in the games: for example, Piper (eevee hero) has a very reserved and quiet personality just like the player character in the games, and doesn't speak or emote much - but she talks and laughs the most around her partner.

Clementine (vulpix partner) is pretty similar to the explorers partner; she's jittery and nervous, but loves to ramble about adventuring to Piper (who loves to listen). She scares easily, but feels stronger with Piper - so in a way, they basically complete each other. They balance out each other's weaknesses, and give each other strength.

Okay so because it's still rotting my brain I'm going to just do a little introduction-type info dump about the infiniteship fallout au and if yall are interested maybe I'll try and figure out something to do with it, lol.

Jougo is 18 in this au. Before the war he lived and grew up in Sanctuary Hills with his dad (a us war veteran) which is how he got into Vault 111. The opening is mostly the same. Bombs fall, run to the vault, get in the tube, surprise! It's a cryo facility. Sleep for 200 years or so and at some point Jougo gets woken up and sees some people show up and take his dad away before putting him back to sleep again. Wake up again an indeterminate amount of time later, head out into wasteland to find dad, maybe deal with some trauma about the whole world you knew being gone and stuff.

Yubel is here! They're a ghoul. They were childhood friends with Jougo before the bombs fell and have kind of just been hanging around Sanctuary doing their own thing for over 200 years. They're the first person Jougo runs into after escaping the vault and helps him out trying to find his dad. (no Codsworth here, sorry.)

Somewhere along the way they run into Mamoru. Mamo has amnesia and can't remember anything about who he is, where he is, or anything that's going on, all he could remember was the name "Mamoru" which he just assumes is his own name. He just woke up somewhere in the wasteland one day all alone with a laser pistol sitting nearby. Most everyone he meets in the wasteland don't trust him or want to help him until he meets Jougo. He joins Jougo and they try to find some clues about his memory while also trying to find clues about who took Jougo's dad.

Soooo yeah. I guess that's the main characters and some basic overview. Some of the fo4 characters would show up here and there but it would be mostly these guys and honestly while Yubel does get some focus and story, but it's mostly about the boys and their relationship. The story would be mostly the same as fo4 up until somewhere around Fort Hagen.
