you're absolutely right thanks for clarifying that one you owe me a big time
i believe it would be beneficial for our immune system to not exist at all, since then i would not have to study it

boston praying catholic jellyfish comeback. you end on a question. no e-mails just phosphorus giveaways. i read somewhere something sometime some poems on refrigerator doors, vaccum cleaning. they stick "strawberry semen" inside my neurons, axons, dendrites. my synaptic transmission is retarded. flickering flame in your pining, cracking westerlies. i tell you i can take you apart cell by lowly cell with edges of my jaded canines. im doggish. hound-like. a beast sniffing where i shouldn't. lissome sighing dreams of dirt. you're underwater wrapped in cathedral imagery and sins original. the "please" exhortation is murakami-ish. you say, you're already scattered. i comply. do i? it's also february regret, in swollen tongue pronunciation, yellow irises. you spit a thread towards arthropoda arms. too "jointy" for anything. too funerary. i speak to this poet i.e. i memorize her dissertation to steal her thoughts. she comes back with a knife for me to stab her in the heart. she says, do it in one go. i cut diagonal. she hangs up her lips on breaking twigs. i stitch mine. we leap into our rabbit hole galore. the jellyfish worships one god. at a time. there are myriads then, just one at a time. you genuflect. i am two am. i am two fifteen am. i am three am when machines are dismantled by your mirror that reflects you as something gloriously vain. the room shines like calvary. first cut mandala denouement. sixth poem junkyard but you desire iron. irony. you're on your knees grimy to dictate how it's to be done. how it's to be burnt. slow pace backstroke grace of peripatetic desert hermitage neon curves. keep me warm in between them. boston harbour obsession dazzles your sunglass eyes parry ardour long call. i buy sunflowers for myself. for me for you.

Local Knowledge
To filter out waste and defend us from infection, hundreds of small glands, the lymph nodes, form a protective network around the body. Connected to each other and other tissues by the lymphatic system, they keep tabs on organ health thanks to dendritic cells, travelling immune cells that carry pathogens or products of their activity up to the lymph nodes. Information also comes from unconventional T cells (UTCs), white blood cells so called because they recognise unusual components of pathogens, such as lipids or small molecules. Researchers recently found that UTCs (pictured in a lymph node, in green) continuously migrate from tissues to their local nodes, forming distinct populations in nodes connected to different organs, like the lungs and gut. This local organisation helps the immune system to mount an appropriate response in the right location, and could inspire more effective vaccine strategies, that boost immunity where most needed.

Ayo im the same anon that made the m cell thingy ask and i looked at the tags and honestly i'd argue the b cells would still age just at the same rate as m cells. As friends shows us that even b cells in their sometimes even long lived glory (as some freaking how mem b cells can live for 50 and some other types can live for a frkn lifetime) b cells cant escape the horrors of aging
Yeah they wouldn't of course, but i just thought it was fun thing to think abt
But man can you imagine right after you graduate having to hang out with his cell you've never met before for the rest of your life because you need to for the sake of the body's and intestine's health? Like you can't just say no because if you do the stupid man won't know how to do his job properly and he'll just be there

List of Common Japanese ship keywords for CaW ships and relevant info
Note: The order matters! The character that comes first is usually the "top". Just swap the sections around. In trio ships the one in the middle is also the middle of the sandwich.
1146×3803 白赤
Killer T×1146 キラ白
Killer T×NK キラエヌ (or rarely NKT)
(OT3) Killer T×3803×1146 キラ赤白(sometimes also キラ白赤)
(OT3) Killer T×1146×NK キラ白エヌ or キラエヌ白
2626×2048 2648 or 4826
2048×4989 4889 or 8948
If you want the WBC squad just being bros, they're often referred to as ズッ友 (forever friends) or ズッ友組
Just for good measure if for some reason if you are looking for it:
Macrophage×Dendritic マク樹状
B×Memory B B記
The ship naming convention applies to other spinoffs. Same cell specifications uses their code, different type uses their cell type. (E.G. AA2153 and AC1677 would be 5377, but main B and Memory cell would be B記)
Also take note of spinoff modifiers.
キラ白 refers to specifically Killer T×1146 in the context of main and other main body aligned spinoffs (e.g. White Brigade, Platelets at Work) but フレキラ白 refers to the body of CaWF - the Killer T Squad Leader and 2145. You can tack the フレ onto the front of your relevant ship to find the variant for CaWF.
Note that one exception exists - one of Friends! Killer T's subordinates has a distinct name, and is occasionally shipped with 2145's best friend 3033. His name is Cross. If you want to find that ship, look for 33クロス, 33黒須 or the opposite way round. But why would you? He can't top.
Either way hope this helps you guys find your favorite ship on pixiv or other Japanese sites. If you need more help just drop an ask.

A TMFU alternate universe where everyone is a cell in the human body.
Bless you, anon, it's been a while since I got a truly unhinged AU idea in my ask box.
I probably spent too long contemplating this, but that's what you get when you ask such things of a biology professor. Also, this is HARD. Possibly because I know too much about this shit so I get hung up on obscure cell types very few people will have heard of, but also thoughts like hmmm but what cell is charming and sneaky and a bit of a cheeky bastard but fiercely loyal to his friends, and the answer is none of them, lol. If you want to read my vague ramblings about which cells fit them best in canon, see below the cut.
But for an AU story, I like the idea that Illya is a fixed cell somewhere—let's say an astrocyte, maintaining the blood-brain barrier, mostly for the hell of it—and Napoleon is a wandering cell in the blood, and Napoleon swings by every so often to try to chat and sneak things past Illya's defenses just for kicks. Of course Illya is Very Dedicated to his job and nothing gets past him (except alcohol, whoops), and he refuses to be distracted by Napoleon, but he looks forward to his visits even though he won't admit it (it gets kind of boring, staying in one place all the time). Maybe Gaby is also a wandering cell and sometimes their visits to Illya's area of the brain coincide. I don't know what happens beyond that, because there isn't much more that reasonably CAN happen, but there you go.
Anyway, thank you for the challenge, anon, this was worse than the fruit AU, tbh. 😂 I always enjoy these, though, really gives the creativity muscles a workout.
Oh, you actually wanted to read more on this?? 😅 Well, here you go.
Honestly it probably makes sense to set them all as immune cells, given the protective function they serve. I wanted to make Illya a natural killer cell because they are part of defending the body and the name is badass, but NK cells kill the body's own infected cells, and that didn't sound quite right. Dendritic cells are really the information-gathering portion of the immune system, monitoring the various parts of the body and alerting various lymphocytes if a larger response is warranted. They're macrophages, too, which means they destroy the invader, then take the evidence and tell other immune cells what to look out for. Waverly feels like a regulatory or memory T-cell to me (one of the types that the dendritic cells would interact with and which would mediate an immune response), and I kind of like Gaby as a T-cell too (helper T, I think), because they just kind of hang out until they're activated by other cells, which is perfect for a sleeper agent.
All the stories possible here are tough to really flesh out. Like, maybe Napoleon and Illya are dendritic cells in different areas of the body and pick up intel on some invading pathogen, then meet in a lymph node to activate Gaby and fight (?) over who's antigen is better (??), but then that's kinda it, these things aren't very long-lived lol. I suppose we can pretend that Illya and Napoleon would work together with Gaby and Waverly to fight off the invaders, even though that's not exactly what would happen. But this is a fictional AU of anthropomorphized cells, so everything is fair game I guess.

To be honest, I would be rather interested in hearing about your obscure Don't Starve AUs
Because so far I have not running into anything more obscure than Don't Starve Monster High and Don't Starve Wizard of OZ
And as a huge Don't Starve nerd I feel a need to spend a good day and a half thinking over obscurity :)
Oh boy oh boy
Most of these don't have a """plot""" as such, I just rotate them in my mind at every possible opportunity.
How about Don't Glitch, where the DS cast are incarnate avatars of the void as seen in Jenna Moran's Nobilis/Glitch tabletop RPG setting? About two-thirds of them are Strategists, who are eternally dying and coming back to life and dying again because a building block of reality has fundamentally turned against them, like Fire for Wormwood, or Water for WX-78, or Starvation for Wolfgang, or Fine Dining for Warly, or Predation for Wilson, or Grief for Wendy, or Darkness for Charlie, or Fearlessness for Walter or the condition of being on dry land for Woodlegs or Pockets for Wheeler because the game wouldn't stop crashing when I tried to store a thing inside another thing while playing as her and I took inspiration from that. Others are Deceivers, spies and saboteurs to the Strategists' heavy-hitters in the military campaign against existence, enlightened to personal truths that they can evoke for idiosyncratic powers such as The Shadow Puppets of Maxwell Carter or The Scientific Curiosity of Robert Wagstaff or The Fires Lit By Willow Darvaza*. They have night and falling stars in their eyes, and they dress like the Triumphant skins if they had a bit more of a Black Parade-era MCR flair to them.
Or perhaps you'd prefer the Cells at Work AU that I don't have a clever title for, where the characters are anthropomorphic cells inside a human body with the function of that cell as their profession? And some influence from the Cells at Work canon characters where applicable; I made Walani a Dendritic Cell because she shares the canon one's laid-back attitude (Wormwood is also a Dendritic Cell because tree), Wilson a Memory Cell because they dress similarly and have a bit of neurosis in common, and Willow's a Mast Cell because they have a similar tendency toward chaos, whereas Walter's a young Red Blood Cell, the delivery people of the body, since he often gets called upon to cart things around on Woby in DST. WX is some kind of medication since those are represented as robots in Cells at Work but I'm not sure exactly what kind.
*Non-canon surname I made up to fit the setting conventions. It's a place in Turkmenistan famous for being on fire constantly for decades.
