Would you choose someone else if you could do it over again? - Jamil was the one whose hand I first took 🥺 My friend begged me to play TWST with them when En releases, after which they’d show me the character list. Initially I was drawn to Idia because his design stood out to me the most, although my friend also got me interested in Silver. - At that time I wasn’t that into any of the characters before they showed me Jamil, and i just fell to my knees. I really adore his design, and I would then binge Fan translations of TWST— after seeing his story in Scarabia episode I was sold 💀 - I probably wouldn't choose anyone else because Jamil's death grip on me is sickening.

Can you make a doodle of Evelyn kissing all over kid Philip's face?

THE OWL HOUSE: the fawn and the cardinal AU? Sort of continuation?

Finally a kid Philip ask! I was so happy when I got this, I love drawing this lil menace of a child-

I don’t think i have ever drawn such a cute scene like EVER- these two are adorable, i truly believe if given the change Evelyn could have been an absolutely amazing big sister figure for lil Philip, they are both menaces in their own ways and 100% would give Caleb grey hair so fast- yet he loves them both and is so happy to see them getting along.

Philip at first isn’t sure what the witch his brother seems so fond of is trying, but soon enough, he stops fighting back and happily accepts being peppered in kisses (growing up, he will have a smol rebellious face he would think himself too grown up to be babied like this, but it would be very short lived). Philip loves being spoiled and loves the attention- witch or not, he is going to take it and he quickly grows fond of such display of affection.

Really hope you like! I may color this drawing too in the future :3 or also try and do this from another angle bcs these two are too adorable.

Man. The character poll got me looking at my designs with new eyes, and I feel like rambling about it, so Imma just do it.

(pretty long artist ramble under the cut)

The thing about me is that a lot of the choices I make when I’m designing something are mostly intuitive/subconscious; just me following a Vibe and seeing what works for the feeling I want to pass on. Not to say I design stuff without thought, I’m just not aware of those thoughts until the design’s done lol

All this to say the character poll got me analyzing my own designs and realizing what my intuitive brain was going for when doing these aissmdmfjdm

this was the first ever concept I drew for these guys, and you can already see some of the building blocks for my final designs here.

The thing that I focus most on, at first, is the overall silhouette and posing. Which is why I wasn’t worried about specific details or polishing up anything in this drawing, I just wanted to get a feel of these characters and see what kinds of shape worked best for them.

Going through each design and my process for them–

Cold was both the easiest and most difficult one for me. While I had a pretty strong idea for his overall shapes from my first drawing and knew what details were important (fluffy collar and head shaped like a water drop), specific details eluded me. I wasn’t sure what to do with its legs or cloak. Eventually tho, I decided I wanted them to be almost completely covered in feathers, leading to their white plumage with dark hands, feet, and face. Something simple, but effective, and I was happy enough with it. I was torn between a diamond or the X for its cloak’s clasp, but eventually decided the X was a more striking detail, and connected her to Spectre more.

Hero is another one that came very easily to me, but whose specific details I struggled with some. I gave him pure white eyes at first, but it limited his expressions, so I ended up giving him those black with white pupils eyes while doodling around. I figured out the helmet shape almost instantly while doing my second ever drawing of him, going for that beak-shaped helm with fiery feathers; tho the rest of his clothes I was really unsure about. Whether to give him a full set or not, if I give him a cape, or metal cladding, etc. The solution came by trial and error, simply giving him different pieces and seeing what fit best, and I eventually arrived on the set he has now!! The secondary clothes just kinda appeared as I doodled him in more casual scenes, and the hair came because I was looking at all the puffy-haired Hero designs and suddenly felt like mine was too bald lol. Overall, I’m really happy with my fluffy and smol son <3 (oh, and yeah, I always pictured him as short in my mind and never thought much about it isjsjdndjndjc)

While it too me a bit to get a doodle of Smitten out, I also figured him out almost instantly. The main thing I wanted for him was to look bright, approachable, and expressive. He’s the only one who has normal-ish eyes because of this, and the side cape was something I gave him to differentiate him from Hero and add to his dramatic flair.

Oppy was definitely the one I struggled with the most, as I had too many ideas in my head for him that all clashed with each other. He didn’t have a set design in my head for a while because of that, which you can see in my early doodles of him where I very clearly didn’t know what to do with his suit lol. His head shape was the first thing I figured out for sure, with those antennae hair strands being present ever since the first doodle I did of him, and for his suit, I just put Reigan Mob Psycho and Larry Pokemon Scarlet in a blender and that car salesman looking ass was the result (centrist politician was another vibe I was going for). I’ve been told he looks deceivingly handsome, tho personally, I just think his face is very punchable.

Broken was prolly the easiest one for me, and one I was satisfied with the first true try (I consider those first sketches up there more of a ‘test run’). I wanted them to look the most similar to Quiet (even more so than Hero), but, well, broken. A reflection of the state Quiet was left in by the Princess in the Tower lead-up. The horn tufts have been ripped off, there are a lot of slashes and cuts across its body, their feathers look unkept and like they have been torn off, and lots of its scales are missing. The sack covering its body is their measly attempt at covering their injuries, and I tried to make all the bandages look old and makeshift.

While the funny corvid face in my first attempt at drawing Contra is very neat, it just wasn’t very fun to draw or allowed them to have many expressions, so I changed it to the face you know now. The curly hair was mostly just me wanting my favorite blorbo to have my favorite kinda hair to draw, and it just so happened that it also fitted with them lol. Them being the only one out of my voices that wear pants instead of some upper body wear is something I always had in mind for them, and the suspenders were more of a little ‘extra’ thing I added to give them more of a clown look alongside with their hat. Something I find funny about my design for Contrarian is that, while it didn’t change much since my first full drawing of them, you can tell something about that first drawing seems off. A little scruffed and odd-looking, and that was mainly because I simply wasn’t used to drawing these humanoid bird things and you can really see me getting the hang of it with how I drew Contrarian, specifically.

Paranoid was the next one I did, and not to brag but, I think I nailed it that second try aidjkxmddkfkkfc only thing I knew about her design was that I wanted her to have large eyes and a bold spot on her head, and then everything else I just kinda drew around that. And honestly? Really happy with the result!! The bald spot ended up looking a lot like part of her brain was straight-up exposed, so I just rolled with that, and she probably has one of the most fun faces to draw. Her silhouette is also very distinct, with the cloak + fluffy head and horn tufts kinda looking like pigtails giving her a very fun shape. I just love how she turned out, not my personal favorite design, but definitely the one I’m most proud of. She looks like a weird bug and I love that.

While I had very strong images for Cheated’s, Hunted’s, Skeptic’s and Stubborn’s design, it’d still be a while before I actually sat down to figure out their details. But once I did, they all came quite easily.

For Hunted, I just wanted it to look like a Creature. I had the idea of having leaves stuck to its feathers as a sorta camouflage thing, but that’d be to much of a hassle to constantly draw, so I scrapped that and just kept the camouflage marks on its cheeks. I wanted its body shape to look slender and nimble; slightly malnourished. The head shape was mainly me wanting its beak to look the most distinct from the other’s beaked voices, more of a ‘wild’ look, and the cat-like tufts was also added for that more feral look.

For Skeptic, I went back and forth on some details, but the hat, big gloves, and scarf were the things that stuck to the end. Something I find really funny with him is that he wears no clothes besides those accessories and its just the way his feathers are drawn that gives the impression of a suit, or some kinda coat under that scarf lol. His color pallette is the one I find the nicest. It’s mainly monochrome, but I think it works well for him.

Only thing I wanted for Stubborn is Big Soft Kitty. With scars. That was about it tbh, I just wanted him to look big, stronk, and huggable, he’s just a big kitty to me.

Cheated I also knew from the start what I wanted to do with him, as you can see by how similar the first concept and final designs look. Main thing I wanted for her was this sorta ‘uneven’ look, with her clothes seeming like they used to be symmetrical before being sliced and torn up. The slices on an ear tuft and a brow is something that just sorta appeared as I doodled him.

So… yeah! This is about it. It took me a while to reach to this final result, but I’m really glad with how all my designs turned out and seeing that others likes them too makes me incredibly happy!! :D

Now to answer your ask/question:

I tend to draw on my phone and laptop, so either devices can work (or even a tablet).

Now, if you are asking about what application/apps I use to draw with, I primarily use medibang paint (which is a raster based/ aka pixals when zoomed in. Note: this app can be used on both pc and mobile devices and probably apple devices) and some Adobe fresco(which is both raster and vector/no pixels when you zoom in. Note: only for pc/apple devices), but of course, Ibis is another good drawing app that I could recommend (its raster base. Note: can be used on mobile and apple devices). These three are free, but they do have other features that come from a subscription (which you don't have to get unless you really wish to).

Other places that I draw on occasionally are on websites like whiteboard and Magma. (Which is when I draw with friends or when fellow artists host one for everyone).

(Sidenote: If you're wondering why the small Wally doodle is so pixelated, it is because I doodled him very tiny. Like this is what he looks like in my canvas XD)

Baby Disassembly Drones Part 2

Now with Cyn and some Tessa!

The first part, Part 2 headcanons here ones take place in the past when they are worker drones.

When he is stressed and close to getting small, he will pick up some kids books from the library and bring them to the restricted part to read alone. ~Usually Clifford the Big Red Dog series

A bit after Cyn joined the group, she overheard N reading while she was in the cellar [because of the humans, J won't lock her in this AU(?)] and listened along to the story and asked to read with him when she got out.

He now loves reading to Cyn and he sometimes rambles outside of the book; and she happily listens to it all ~Everyone in the group actually loves to hear him talk too

There have been a few times where work has been so loud and upsetting that he hides under a table with a cloth and just cries until someone finds him. [normally J] ~Then they have their best bonding ever by having a Cheer-Up Break

He's a puppy regressor and loves makes dog noises in that mood. ~ He likes to 'boof' a lot when he is excited

J

She's a big doodler! She likes drawing "sonas" of herself, because she likes to think about what she may look like in other worlds or species. ~She doodles the human-sona most of the time and it is a lot worse looking when she's smol

She hid her regression the longest out of the group because she got so scared that if the corporate found out, they'd think it was a malfunction ~But she finally got to tell one of the drones [V] at one point. And J told the other two and Tessa about it soon after.

Tessa gave her old pacifier for J and it will always be J's favorite; she uses it the most

When she's small: she'll sit on the floor, hold her whale plushie, and just observe out the window, focusing on the stars and pretty greenery

J's a reptile [vague for her] regressor and she has a pretty, green colored dress and stockings she puts on for it ~She play-attacks with this fake mouse she just found one day

V

V normally hangs out in Tessa's room while small, so Tessa helps care for her if she has the time ~If Tessa's chained up, they both just rest with each other most of the time instead

V baby-sat Cyn a lot before V talked about her regression to the group ~She still baby-sits sometimes, but now the two of them just have playdates in the cellar as well

N will read the doggie books with her a lot and it's one of V's favorite things to do; just listening or reading along with N

She has a fox headspace and has the nicknames Kit and Cub [Names for baby foxes] ~Tessa sewed her a few fake fox tails and V sometimes piles them all on her dress at once in her baby-space to be a kitsune

J needs to keep a eye on V's glasses so she doesn't lose them on accident

Cyn

She was really confused when one day her head got a little fuzzy after a kinda long day, but Tessa noticed the signs and helped her feel better ~This was sorta the point that the other drones started feeling more open about themselves

Loves playing pretend with Tessa's toys and sometimes the others join in ~It really depends on the work the main three do, since Cyn isn't supposed to be in the corporate's range of vision like the trio

After a while, she concurred she regresses to the same range as N, just a few months older though ~She also has two pet-spaces: Snake and Racoon

She sometimes goes into her monster form when she's small, and she never had the others find out about it [until maybe super later on] ~She is always in her snake-space when in monster-and-regressed mode

She doesn't like moving or even really standing up when she's tiny since her balance unfortunately gets as bad as a human baby's ~N is almost always the one to carry her to where she needs or wants

Little revise, but all drones [just.. the entire drone population who can regress] get a pink blush when they regress but they have a setting to turn it off for a certain time

The squad have sleepovers in Tessa's room way too much and Tessa loves to help keep them content ~She's the ultimate human caregiver

They all got matching onesies with simple little patterns in pastels

There are few days where V takes care of the squad for a full break ~She normally regresses by accident when caring for them and then it's just a little guy party

When Cyn somehow does reveal her monster form, they will be super accepting, even if it was super shocking.

Also, just a question? What's your canon size for them? Both lorge? Both smol? One lorge one smol?

Yes!! You will see smol sun next to lorge moon! I have some plans to draw them with each other so stay tuned for that!

As for canon size, the short answer is that I’m not sure. Originally I wanted them both to be the same size but I really like the dynamic of a tiny sun being like “watch out for my brother, moon” and you think “oh your brother? what harm could a guy as small as you do to me?” and then you fuck around and find out that actually he’s bloody massive and very dangerous.

But now I think that I really like the idea of them being able to change sizes. That maybe their size is dependent on their aggression level or that it’s some sort of defensive mechanism. So moon is often bigger because he’s easier to aggro, and sun is often smaller because he’s naturally a bit more skiddish and afraid. So technically they could both change sizes. Not sure how that would work. Definitely would involve some supernatural elements. I also think it would be fun to make this a y/n centric au where they help them control this about themselves because, as you can imagine, it’s probably rather inconvenient to suddenly grow 10X your size because you got a little angry. (And then maybe there would be a bigger, nastier plot unfolding right under y/n’s nose idk idk👀)

Anyway I’m still ironing this all out. There’s no plan to make this into a full story or anything, just some fun concepts for doodling, but I’m open to suggestions and questions to help me build the world a little more :)

As you said, I can see it being to comfort Nyx, but I feel like it would also be really fitting if Aurien and Nyx sing together when either of them (but especially Nyx) can't sleep, as a way for him to wind down and quiet the thoughts in his head. It is so sweet to imagine Aurien just sitting with him and singing until he falls asleep, especially after a hard day, because I can imagine that it would be soothing to both of them.

THE TWINTAILS [Omnic-fied version of mine and @crudakas persona]

Cru and I really like the lore of Overwatch and recently gotten deeper into the Omnic based lore with Genesis, Ana mythic skin, Ramattra and so on

We randomly created Omnic-versions of our Personas and doodled them a lot and 'kind of' came up with just a little lore for them (just for fun)

Crudaka (the tall purple one) is in-between the Shambalis view of coexisting with humanity and Null Sectors violent goals. She prefers a peaceful way but will use violence if necessary. Her tail can be used to grapple/climb and makes her very agile, its also very strong and can support her entire weight like a chair. Because of her purple color palette people often assume she is part of Null Sector and want to start a fight/threaten her.

Jeya (the smol) doesn't care much for humans and her tendency leans more towards Null Sector. Although she wouldn't join the battles and would help innocent humans that can not help themselves. Not because she wants to, but more for the sake of making a good impression in the name of her people. Her tail is the same technology as Ramattras staff: When Null Sector was founded years ago she had initially joined and helped with some of the upgrades of the war machines and other equipment. After the failed attack on London and as some of the leaders left Null Sector, she stole the blueprints of Rams weapon and upgraded her tail with it. It works the same way as his staff and next to the Void Accelerator she can also use Ravenous Vortex. Besides that she is very agile and uses kicks/scratches with the talons on her feet.

Both of them, calling themselves "the twintails", travel the world for knowledge while helping suppressed and abused Omnics wherever they can.
