Ok so I’ve started working on this art piece back when Qsmp was still ongoing, and I saw a theory (whose username I can’t remember or find) that bbh’s angel form was a cherbium (that may be spelled wrong. It’s the multi animal headed angel warriors) which originally inspired me to create this piece. It’s been a long while, and while I’m not entirely satisfied with the coloring/shading, I’ve decided to release it into the wild. Also if anyone wants to take a crack at coloring this feel free.

( this is where I’m gonna put my thought process behind the artistic designs of the fanart. Bbh’s extra heads are skeletons bc of his connection with death/grim reapers/ I think it looks cool, and are a hyena skull (left) and vulture skull (right) for obvious reasons if you know his Qsmp lore both in and out of purgatory. ( aka his dog role in purgatory plus the soul vultures plus his behavior being described as scavanger plus his crazy laugh) he has a scythe for similar reasons plus it was his main weapon of choice in the Qsmp (and aesthetics) even if I don’t have it as decorated as i originally wanted due to not wanting to over clutter the design and this is supposed to be before his fall, thus him having less of an identity that is later expressed in his clothing due to the monolithic nature of heaven (head canon) even if aspects of his personality due shine through. He has four arms bc I think it’s cool and bc I think it fits his overachiever personality. Also you may notice the mild gore of the arms and heads being a bit bloody/sinewy in their formation, which is bc I believe even in the beginning he was a bit of a mashoschit (this may also be spelled wrong. It’s the word for pain lovers) and also had violence born into him (this may be worded poorly, but o well). He has the ghosties in one of his hands bc I like to think that chat was always kinda lurking around him, and also ties back to his relation to death/the afterlife/ that whole ferryman Chiron (maybe spelled wrong. The Greek dead guy driving boats) thing he had going that he never elaborated on (to my knowledge). His halo is of course a nod to his namesake and which I deliberately made to resemble stained glass due to the frailty of his connection to heaven that would soon be broken. He has throng wings bc four was too many to fit and three matched his heads and his children. He is wearing a hood in a manner I based off of the artwork of mother Mary, bc of course. He has long nails bc I want him to. Oh, and he is wearing his robes like that bc this is before the apple bite and the subsequent establishment of nudity as shameful, and also bc I want him to. And he is not naked bc I don’t want to get flagged as explicit (shoutout to bigboobyhalo for being the punch I needed to commit to the bit). Proportions are exaggerated due to 1. Angels are not bound to conventional human forms 2. Makes a better silhouette 3. What are you talking about the proportions are totally normal 👍 (leave me alone body’s are hard)

MASSIVE 08x15 ‘9-1-1’ SPOILER!!

(Please ignore any spelling or grammar mistakes! This will also be crossposted across different platforms, I have a diffrent username on each, so no this has not been stolen!)

I 100% believe that killing off Bobby will be Tim (and overall ‘9-1-1’) ‘s biggest mistake.

Firstly all of this is from what I’ve seen online, please correct me if anything is wrong! Anyhow, killing off Bobby was to the best of my knowledge to make things more ‘exciting’ for the viewers and to get more people watching. Okay so that is just an awful idea in general, no matter the character, I think making that disease from 8x15 spread across the city or something along the lines could have been a better eye-catcher for to get more viewers, it would also double as being relatable since ‘9-1-1’ never touched on covid, so the audience has experience with what the characters go through, this could also link in with Eddie having to make a choice of quarantining with Christopher (and possibly his parents) or going back to LA to be with Buck and obviously Christopher, so boom it would work with upcoming plot points (buddie).

Secondly, choosing Bobby as the character to kill off is ridiculous, if they really wanted to kill a character I feel like the general audience would get over other characters faster (not necessarily talking about the main 118 or Athena/Maddie). Bobby is arguably the glue of the show, no doubt he is for the 118. Bobby is the father figure for everyone, especially Buck, he and Buck had absolutely one of the best connections out of the whole show. As well as the fact that Bobby is possibly one of the only characters that has none if not very little hate towards him. I have yet to see a ‘9-1-1’ fan who has any reason to hate Bobby (not saying you have to love him, but you get me). So why kill off him?

Lastly I just want to say that doing this is absolutely going to have the exact opposite effect Tim and the team were looking for. I have seen numerous videos and posts of ‘9-1-1’ fans stating that they will no longer be watching the show without Bobby, and while I do not necessarily agree with that, I refuse to watch any funeral episode or anything that will come from seaosn eight as it’s just too sad to me unfortunately. So arguably enough, the amount of viewers will most likely decline, therefore having the opposite effect.

Well we find out who teen is. I was half right half wrong about his identity. His physical body was someone else, William Kaplan, but his soul is Billy Maximoff.

(I will continue to call Billy/William as teen as it will get confusing to explain my thoughts on this episode)

I was so shocked that teen was originally William Kaplan. And how during his bar mitzvah, Lilia was the one who put the sigil on him. And when she read his palm and told him his fate was the reason whole she put the spell on him.

I honestly believe it was Rio. Don’t ask why because I have no idea why I thought it was her.

We also got to hear Wanda through the radio. I was somewhat shocked and freaking out because it has been to long since we seen Wanda.

After the car accident when teen yelled Tommy’s name my heart was like “aww his (Billy) first thing he calls out was his brother” then it was like “What the fuck?! How did Billy managed to possessed William?”

Found out how Teen knew The Ballad of the Witches Road and how he knew where to find Agatha.

We got to see Ralph Bohner again! His Reddit username 😂😂

We also got to see Alice again! but this time she in a cop uniform and was on her way to Westview. God I miss her!

Secondly (and I'm gonna answer this ask publically, in case anyone else perhaps wondered the same thing as you), no, I have no other works posted on AO3, under any different usernames, nor orphaned/anonymous. I mean, I have no reason too, all my most embarrassing kinks are already pretty clear from the works I already have under my username, so 😂

I hadn't realised the spelling of "groin" as "groyne" was wrong. Google Docs, which is where I write all my works, says that "groyne" is the British spelling for "groin", and will flag "groin" as wrong when set to spell check for British English. As I try my hardest to use British English on my Marauders fics (even if that's hard for me, because I originally learned American English), I was under the impression it was correct 😂 but I've recently started spell checking on MS Word, and it does flag "groyne" as wrong, and it did leave me very confused.

Then, I googled it, and there are some references saying the spelling "groyne" is correct for British English... So idk, maybe some native speaker can clarify that for me? I'm very curious now.

RGB Villians Headcannons

Since I'm on Christmas break and it's the end of the year, I wanted to end the year with Real Ghostbusters content that can keep me entertained (and hopefully others). So I'm doing this thing where I give the villians some headcannons. Credits to @silentshayshores-2 as I used their Headcannon Prompts template as a basis for this. I'll also include additonal notes for stuff that wasn't included in/me blabbering about the character. This , along with the upcoming posts, are open to discussion, so other's headcannons for a particular and suggestions for other ghosts/villians (even the less talked about) are welcomed. Also N/A is when I can't think of an answer to a prompt's question.

The Boogieman/Boogeyman

1. How do they feel about people shorter/taller than them? Boogey loves being taller than others, especially if they're his victims. Being tall makes him feel powerful (it also inflates his ego). If another ghost or being happen to be taller than Boogey (even by just an inch), he would be embarrassed and try to get the nearest source of fear to chug on, just to get a growth spurt

2. What are they like on social media? (What’s their username, profile pic, etc.) He's a boomer guys But seriously, if Boogey did use social media, he would be one of those fear mongering, drama obsessed YouTubers (*cough* Keemstar *cough*)

3. Their sexuality? Guy's definitely not straight that's for sure (in my humble opinion)

4. Preferred weather? Dark cloudy

5. What’s their sleeping schedule? He sleeps/semi-hibernates throughout the day and wakes up to do his business during the night

6. Favorite music? He strikes me as the type of person who has no true preference when it comes to music. One minute, he would love jazz, then the next he would be into heavy death metal

7. How’s their cooking? What cooking?

8. It’s movie night, what movie do they pick? Nightmare on Elm Street

9. How would they hold up in a pillow war? Boogey would destroy the war before it officially starts. By the time he's done, it would be a pillow massacre

10. What’s their sleeping position? Starfish position

11. Who do they go to for comfort? He doesn't like to admit it, but he goes to Samhain when he's upset after being captured and placed into the Ecto-Containment Unit. He sees Samhain as his true equal

12. Something small that they enjoy? The taste of someone's fear

13..How do they feel about physical contact by others? He doesn't enjoy the feeling of touch due to lingering pains from the proton streams

14. What is enough to bring them to tears? Probably Egon's death. Not because he cares about him, but because he's addicted to his fear.

15. Biggest pet peeve? When people spell his name wrong. He personally spells it as 'Boogieman', but it misspell by others as 'Boogeyman', 'Bogeyman', or even Bogart

16. How well do they take care of themselves? Pretty well. Boogey loves to pamper himself and he takes pride in looking his best to scare children

17. What’s something they like that may be surprising to others? All of the other ghosts in the Unit were surprised to find that he enjoys putting on makeup

18. Do they consider others family? He considers his minions to be like his wards, though this doesn't stop Boogey from being constantly frustrated by their incompetence

19. Any bad habits that they have? Everything

20. What’s their idea of a perfect vacation? A interdimensional resort where he could have a spa day

21. Do they get lost easily? Will they ask for directions if they are? No. But if he were to get lost, he would be too stubborn to ask anyone for help

23. The strangest thing they have ever seen? One day while testing his doors, he found one that when opening it reveal what seemed to be a dimension filled with strange colours and even more stranger wet noises echoing the area. Then he saw something he should not have and promptly close it.

24. How well do they accept advice? Boogey hates people giving him advice as it makes him feel as if he was treated like a child. Not even Samhain can give him advice without receiving a side eye.

25. How much do they swear? Boogey is 100% absolutely capable of swearing. Most people, including the Ghostbusters, think that he can only curse in a Saturday morning cartoon villain way (nincompoop, fool, etc). Boogey loves seeing people's reactions where he starts saying every swear word in the book.

26. How do they take advice given to them? He promptly throws it in the garbage

27. Do they like being in pictures? At parties he host, yes. By a human who caught him, no.

28. Is there anything they’re bad at? Bad at killing the Ghostbusters

29. What’s their morning schedule? See Question 5

30. Any past injuries? Although he heals quickly, he suffers from chronic pain thanks to the Ghostbusters' proton beams

Additional Notes

First Impressions: I really did not know what to expect. Before I even started watching the series on the Internet Archives, I kept getting recommendations for the Boogieman Cometh after watching Phelous' Real Ghostbusters videos. Imagine trying to find a video to watch and all you see is this Joker looking monster staring at you like he's contemplating about whether to eat you or not

Favorite Fanfictions Featuring Them: Where do I even start? Ok, there's Impossible Monsters by Robyn which is more like a Peter x Egon fic primarily, but Boogey does appear in it, starved and trying to get Egon to feed him (him starving is a popular trope for some reason). It's an old fic, but people have saved it thanks to the Archives

There's my personal favorite RGB fanfic Perfect World by notgeorgelucas that's about the gang becoming rich and having perfect lives after the Containment Unit exploded. However (Spoiler Alert), it turns out that they along with everyone else were stuck in a dream created by the Sandman, who worked with Boogey and Samhain to escape in the first place. One thing that I love about this fic is how everyone is not really written the same. Here's some examples of what I mean:

I just love how Boogey acts in the fic in general. He's clearly shown to be restless and needing to break free. It gets to the point of him canabilizing other ghosts in the Unit to feed as well as gain more power. He eagerly accepts Sandman's proposal and even put himself in harms way by letting the Ghostbusters blast him while Sandman use the oppertunity to put them in their restless slumber. He's won, albeit with help from Sand and Sam, but he was now finally free to do whatever he wanted to; to go back home, to feast on children's fears. He's finally free.

But it wasn't meant to last forever. Beacuse Sandman placed everyone and I mean everyone in an eternal slumber where they had happy dreams. No tormet, no sorrow, no fear. Boogey basically starved himself in this story. The worst part was that he had no one to turn to; he couldn't just ask Sandman to change it all back to normal and Samhain would have scoff him in his face and probably call him weak. The only person he could have gone to was ironically Egon. And he did so, yet everytime he entered Egon's dreams he would lose a huge chunk of power and Egon would wake up before anything else happened. That is until Egon finally open it. But by that point, Boogey's energy was gone and he was but a husk of himself:

"But the amusement faded when he saw what lay on the floor beside the open closet door.

It was waxy white, shriveled and trembling feebly as it hunched into a fetal position. Its clothing was ratty and threadbare, swallowing up the wearer with room to spare. Once‑glossy, ebony hair sat splattered on the sweat‑drenched forehead. And between horrible moans and sobs, one could just barely make out the words “help … me…”"

And so, Boogey dies, not with a bang, but with a whimper, surrounded by his enemies who ironically would not have escaped their dreams if it weren't for him.

Favorite Ships: Boogey x anyone in general would be very cracky, but still I must ship. My main OTP for Boogey is him with Samhain (I created ship names for them like Bamhain and Fearful Autumn). They would act like a old married couple arguing about whose plan is better or what, but then would act sweet and wholesome when no one's looking. Then there's Boogey x Egon who I gave the ship name Begon. This ship is mostly for the lols and crackshipping, but its' funny to imagine a fanfic where Egon fake dates with Boogey just to show his family that the monster in his closet was real.

I didn't start the wiki, I just got pissed off a couple of months ago and posted this on r/ween. To my surprise, people actually listened. We now have a few regular contributors, but it's time to start reaching out to the rest of the Ween web, and I'm starting here on Tumblr for a reason.

The fuck-you spirit of Ween and punk rock seems to have actually survived on this platform. Despite Tumblr's best efforts, this has mercifully not become a Nice Normal Place for Nice Normal People. There's a beautifully unhinged quality to all Ween fans that still circulates in the air supply here, that when you see it on reddit for example, you know that it's being allowed to happen.

If you didn't know, there is a Ween wiki just sitting there waiting for us to fill it in.

I know it isn’t very well maintained or reliable. That’s because we’re not using it. It’s a community database, not someone’s personal website. It’s supposed to be maintained by the fan base, that’s the point of a knowledge commons.

Let’s say, for example, if 50 of us make one quick, low-effort change to the wiki in the next month or so. That would already be a big improvement. If it’s the first and last time for you, you will have made a contribution.

Here are some little things you can do anonymously, without an account or a username: 

~Add lyrics to a song.~ 

Change lyrics that someone else added. (It updates instantly, this isn’t genius.com.)

Add a page that you think should be there - you can leave it blank for others to fill in if you don’t want to do it.

Delete something if you think it’s wrong -  you don’t need to have something to replace it with in order to do this. Removing something counts as a contribution. If it turns out to be right after all, it can be put back.

Ditto if you see a citation that you don’t trust - you can just remove the source. Now it’s a ‘citation needed’ situation, which gives others an opportunity to do something.

Correct a minor spelling error, it can literally be that small.

Don’t share private material without permission, but other than that, it can be just about anything at this point, as long as it keeps the ~recent changes page~ ~active.~ Even if you’re new and you don’t know much about Ween, you almost certainly know something that isn’t there yet. Remember you can edit anonymously, so nobody can give you shit if you get it wrong. What they can do is change it.

A few notes:

Why do we need this, when we can just ask someone more reliable? Because it’s too much pressure to expect any person to be reliable all of the time*.* It might sound counter-intuitive, but having a community database that “just anyone” can edit actually creates more accountability, because we’re all responsible for its content, rather than expecting a few people to do all the work and get everything right. This is an opportunity to make a contribution to the legacy of Ween and their fan base, one that’s at least a little better than the stew of info and misinfo that’s out there now. It’s also a chance to help ensure that the good work people are doing on projects like Ween Archived doesn’t just end up getting mixed in with all the bullshit~.~

You don’t need to know what you’re doing. I’m a tech-moron - seriously, my 80-year-old father probably knows how to use Media Wiki better than I do. Even I figured out how to make a few basic edits. We’re going for minimal effort here, so even if you think it won’t make a difference, it will only have cost you a minute of your life.  Do a sloppy, half-assed job. Make a tiny improvement to someone else’s sloppy, half-assed job. Do it now or later - a community database is a long term, ongoing project and there’s no deadline for anything.

But people will just use it to troll? Yeah, they might. They can already do that now. If that’s what you want to use it for, you’re going to anyway. Here’s a couple of things worth remembering:

Nobody needs to put in a ton of work only to risk having it spoiled. There’s enough of us that your individual contribution can be as tiny as you want, and it still counts.

Again, anybody can delete information, so dealing with troll entries doesn’t just fall to one person or a few people. It’s unlikely that we’re gonna have a troll problem that’s too big for the rest of us to handle.

Sorry to be cheesy, but if we’re too scared to do anything, then my friends, the trolls have already won.

One last thing. You can do this and still hate everybody and complain as much as you want, nobody can take that away from you. You can even feel better about complaining, knowing that at least you did something. And if you want to tell me to shut up, who the fuck do I think I am etc, then you’ll still have plenty of time to do that too.

Come on, people. Two children who couldn’t play their guitars yet started a band without a drummer, and we can’t build a better community wiki than this, with all the tools in front of us? Of course we fucking can.

I am lying awake (amusingly) pondering this so flight I’d ask you as I’m sure you know & could put my undresming mind to rest & your username is so fitting for my question too… which is…

Do vampires dream?

I found all the talk of Claudia dreaming or not very interesting, because in the books, vampires do not dream, do they? Or have I got it wrong?

Their sleep is the sleep of The Dead. See it as horrifying as Louis describes or as the tabula rasa, infant’s sleep; new start every night Armand describes. Either way, there are no dreams in their death-sleep, no?

And I wonder if that’s part of why they are frequently haunted by hallucinatory visions & struggle so deeply with existential traumas in waking hours… their subconscious doesn’t get the chance to dream-out any of the mess that is existence when they sleep & thus their psychological battles can only be wrangled while awake…?

So, is this intentional? Or, do show-vampires dream? Or do I have it wrong?

I think them setting the dreaming up already pays both into the QotD and Amel arc later, where dreams do carry weight. And information, so it makes sense to make a point about them already (in a truly heartwrenching way, damn).

Wrt hallucinations or visions - I think it is important to remember that their minds have more... reception.

Like, the mind and spell gifts (as well as the other gifts too of course) have to originate somewhere, right, and their physical links to the vampiric body.

And so for me it is only logical - in universe - that they would "catch" more of the other frequencies, to put it that way. Hope that makes sense?^^

First off, it's pretty obvious that Dabi has some form of his own internalized misogyny because at one point he called both his mom and Fuyumi the 'weak ones' in the family (literally said that the females in the family are all weak-willed). Maybe he fixes that with Toga, because he obviously treats her loads better especially when she goes back to her childhood home. But you cannot tell me, for one iota of however many brain cells you have left in your head, that Dabi was 'never' negative about women in general?? It doesn't need to be spelled out, it's right there if you just pick up the context clues given.

And it doesn't make me love him any less either, if anything it makes me love him MORE because of the angst that can be made with the thought that any Y/N!Female could be the ONE woman he finally gets better for in that aspect. And I love stories where those kinds of guys realize their mistakes with hating all women, it's glorious and makes me weep every single time I read about it.

Oh, and fun fact, I am biologically female. So if you're trying to say I'm 'misogynistic' because I identify as male, oh boy are you SO wrong. I just find it funny that ever since I started identifying as male (around a month ago I specifically came out as DemiBoy) suddenly the influx of 'anti-man' comments are coming straight for me whenever I bring this stuff up. But at least with MY headcanon, he can be redeemed because his reasoning for seeing women as 'weak' is based on actual canon rather than just a sexual fantasy about someone being abused and liking it (nothing against those who like that stuff but it wasn't my point when writing my post).

Or, on the flip side, fans who write him seem to forget his more 'mean' points of his character and it just feels disingenuous to me. I prefer being close to canon with how I see characters, not against the fandom versions in any way but in my head I always stay close to how they're portrayed by the OG creator/writer. And I also like angst, I am allowed to 'bump up' certain character traits if it fits my headcanons and if you don't like it then tough tits.
