Hot take but I always thought troll appearance was more homogenous than Hiveswap and Friendsim 2 and any of the Homestuck fandom likes to portray because of how cripplingly eugenic their society is. Like there was some kind of perceived face and body beauty standard that was so strict that all demographics either blended into one or died trying.

The remark of "trolls think troll fashion is stupid" could be taken literal as trolls we had met in Act 5 are seen wearing the same type of black shirt and pants(save Kanaya/Aradia/Feferi on skirts and Equius on shorts). Accessories that do have familiar blood color like Eridan's cape or Nepeta's coat helps to stand out, but they still maintain that same shirt and pants like the others to signify they belong with the group as 12. It's only the Dancestors that we see more variety like Kankri wearing a sweater, Porrim having the V-line dress, Rufioh's skeletal vest, etc. Perhaps it was Beforus and the Heiress there (Feferi) that allowed the trolls to express their fashion more freely compared to Alternia. A reason though for why The Condesce could limit or say that the troll uniform would be just shirt and pants/skirts? Maybe it is also to avoid anyone dressing similarly to The Signless or something that could display signs of rebellion. Maybe The Condesce is vain and thinks only she gets to be the only girl looking fly and everybody else looks like bland copy and paste kids. Who knows.

I've completed downloading all the videos from this playlist as well as the two videos of him reacting to old homestuck videos. i'll get them into a google drive later today most likely unless i experience bumps in the road because this really is my first experience properly using my ipad's files app

Sometimes I get curious about the alpha troll session, how much we don't know about and can only speculate on. I really enjoy the interpretations people come up with, the multitude of possibilities there are.

I'm especially interested in the events already talked about, I want to know exactly what happened and what caused them. There's so much left in the dark about Mituna's accident, how much of it was an accident, how much was planned.

With the ties Kurloz and Damara have to Lord English's arrival, I'm sure there was a lot of planning that went through to the other sessions.

But an Heir of Doom would've been too dangerous for their plans, able to snuff out the preparations and prepare everyone for battle before they even knew of English's existence.

He had to be stopped before that, it wasn't worth the risk.

So I wonder if Kurloz had anything to do with the actual accident, or he really was just a bystander happening to witness that fated moment.

Who knows if there really was any danger, if Mituna's incident really was something heroic that saved the others.

Or if Mituna played right into the tricks, and Kurloz only created a threat to make him and the others feel better. To give reason to his accident.

I do think he would still feel guilt about what he did, but it had to be done regardless. It's the same with Meulin, Kurloz didn't mean to cause this much damage, nor was it part of the plan. He's shrouded in mystery to the point that no one knows how he really feels, his actions don't align with his grief. It must be frustrating to know all the harm you caused to those closest to you was all in vain, that with the loss of everything you worked so hard for, you really are just a bad person at the end of the day.
