I don't usually do fanart, but if my followers will indulge me this week, I made an exception for my favourite character for the FNAF 10th anniversary celebration, because what can I say? I am but a simple girl who likes Springtrap! 🐰🔪 What're you most excited for this week? Going in, I was most excited for Into the Pit (which I still am of course!), but honestly every day has been exciting so far: I am unbelievably hyped for The Secret of the Mimic in 2025, VIP was a fun and interesting introduction to the new book series, FNAFxDBD is HUGE and a match made in heaven, FLAF looks fun and lore drops on the Steam page are WILD, and all the FNAF 2 movie teaser photos have me SO excited for the Toy Animatronics... and I think we're getting the Withereds too!? I wonder if we'll get a Puppet teaser!? 😵‍💫 We are truly eating this week - I don't want it to end!! 😍🍽️ Stay tuned for the process video next week, and we can talk about Into the Pit, ha ha!!

Back from my birthday hiatus, and um, wow... was not expecting this kind of overwhelmingly positive reaction to a simple QRT about how we used Dissolve Mode in our BG paintings on Carol and the End of the World (see last image) - since people seemed to have enjoyed that so much, I thought I'd put all the pages of the Carol and the End of the World BG Paint style guide I drafted in one post! TBH I'd been meaning to do this for awhile but kept forgetting since I have it in a different folder than the BG paintings themselves... I believe all the paintings are mine and all the designs are by Alex Myung unless otherwise noted. I wrote this pretty early on pre-vis, so some of these guidelines got a little massaged during production, but the broad strokes are definitely still there! This wasn't the only style guide on the show BTW! A couple of our other leads Alex Myung and Kal Athannassov also put together a BG and Character Design style guide that are super cool - unfortunately I don't have the files myself (nor would I feel comfortable posting work that's not mine) nor do I think they've posted them yet, so if you two were looking for a sign to do so, this is it!! OMG, feels like the holiday season is racing by - can't believe Christmas is already less than a week away!! Here's a #ThrowbackThursday to a Rise of the Guardians interior fan-design I did back in school - one of my favourite holiday movies (joined recently by Klaus)! Thanks for looking - I'll be taking a month or two off of posting art to rest and celebrate, so happy new year and stay tuned for more new stuff in 2025!!

Crazy to see something I worked on half a decade ago finally come out! It's changed a LOT since I worked on it - in fact, I don't think anything I worked on is actually in the movie, ha ha, but that's to be expected in film, especially when a project goes on this long and/or you join early! Honestly, I was full-on expecting not to get credited at all (not because I don't think I deserve credit, but unfortunately it's not uncommon for artists that worked on a project briefly/early on to get left out of credits), so seeing my name in the credits was a pleasant surprise! I didn't contribute anything to the monster designs, but they were always some of my favourite designs - especially Ellian's Mom (right on the poster in the second image)! She's so cute - I love her colour scheme and her stubby little arms and wings, ha ha! Let me know if you give it a watch in the comments, and thanks for looking!

Just got back from Oogie Boogie Bash last night and had a BLAST!! The food was great, the ride lines were short, and Judge Doom absolutely ROASTED me, ha ha!! Taking a brief intermission from Carol and the End of the World art to share a handful of My Adventures with Superman backgrounds I painted from season 2 episode 1!! Unsure who designed these specifically since I was just freelancing, but if anyone knows, please drop the name in the comments so I can credit them! I really enjoyed painting the Star Labs interior in particular! It's projects like this that seriously make me wish I could make copies of myself just so I could work on more cool projects with cool people - there's just not enough hours in the day! Aaand back to your regularly scheduled dose of Carol and the End of the World pre-vis: a while back, I shared my painting of Carol's parents' home interior, but I forgot to share the exterior, so... here it is! Well, actually to be fair... part of it did feature in another background I shared a while back, but this time it gets to be the star! Originally I painted it with a blanket of dappled light (first image), but it was later removed (second image): understandable since I think the immense cost of tracking that wouldn't really be worth the minor pay-off - plus, as pretty as I think it looks, I'm not really sure it makes a ton of sense, ha ha! The other super-wide pan from episode 1 after Carol leaves her parents' house in episode 1 - if you've seen the show, this shot was particularly ambitious because as the scene plays out, we literally zoom into Carol through her car window while she's driving to see her emotions. Aaand we're back!! 🙌 Thank you all for your patience during and after the holidays! 🙏 Ironically the moment I said I was going to take a break, I ended up taking on some freelance, which kinda defeated the purpose of taking a break... oops, ha ha! 😅 That's why I took off a little more time in the new year - not to mention, January suuuccked!! 😩 Anyways, finally back with a new painting - can't say "no" to some juicy sunset colours, ha ha! 😍 Thanks for looking, and catch the process video next week!! 💖
