What is your favorite commissioned song for each character? (Sorry if you've already answered this before)
this has been sitting in my inbox since december because I was waiting for all characters to get their 4th song... so minori has 5 songs now screw waiting it's not massively likely that Ena4 or Toya4 are gonna beat my top comms for them.
Ichika: either the WALL or Ryuusei no Pulse. I keep changing my mind on which one I like more. I don't really have much to say about them because I don't have either ranked particularly high, but Chiirurin is always a good vocalist, her high note in the WALL is really good.
Saki: Stella. This has been my favorite L/n song since I started playing. I'm not entirely sure why, it just really struck a chord with me. I love the lyrics as well. I'm actually listening to it while writing this lol.
Honami: STAGE OF SEKAI. I really love the emotion in this one, especially in the final chorus. The instrumental is really good too and you honestly can feel the emotion in the song through that alone. Regulus is really good too.
Shiho: Voices. It's just a total banger. The guitar solo is probably my favorite part of the song if I'm being honest. I hope they recommission yuyoyuppe at some point.
Minori: Tenshi no Clover. All her songs are really good, so this was hard to pick. I love energetic idol songs like that and it fits Minori really well. Zenshin zenrei MORE MORE JUMP!
Haruka: IF. rip haruka for not getting her 4th song. I'm not massive on any of her comms to be honest. I do like IF and Float Planner, they're just quite low on my ranking comparatively. Also I keep going back and forth on which one I like more but right now it's IF.
Airi: MORE! JUMP! MORE!. This was my original favorite MMJ song. It's super catchy and fun. Even if the lyrics are nothing to do with the event or Airi, I still think it's a great song.
Shizuku: Metamo Re:born. My favorite MMJ song! Really catchy and has a nice beat to it. I like how 'sparkly' it sounds as well.
Kohane: Hitsuji ga Ippiki. The instrumental is so good, and this is probably one of VBS' best songs vocally. Akina especially sounds amazing.
An: Awake Now. We had to wait so long for this but it was so worth it. Again the instrumental is great and Jiena sounds so good in this song, I love An's solo version. I have this ranked just above Hitsuji on my tierlist lol
Akito: CRaZY. This song made my change my top 5 songs for the first time since spring 2022. It's just so good and all of VBS sounds amazing as always. I also like how it reflects Akito's character development from the event. My favorite rotation 4 song so far.
Toya: RAD DOGS. My original #2 song and current #3. I love the combination between classical and EDM, and HachiojiP did such a good job considering he didn't have any experience with classical. Also the Bad Dogs rap section is so good.
Tsukasa: Mr. Showtime. If I'm being honest I don't usually like showtunes like this a whole lot, they can be very hit or miss for me, but this is very much a hit. Daichan did really well in this song. My favorite part though is the lyrics, I love how Yama used different meanings for certain phrases in parentheses.
Emu: Hoshizora Orchestra or Niccori Chousa-tai no Theme. Again I keep changing my mind and they're pretty much tied for me. I like them for completely different reasons as well; Hoshizora Orchestra is pretty melancholic despite it's cutesy tune, and Niccori is just really fun to listen to.
Nene: Hoshizora no Melody. Easy pick for me, I love the instrumental a whole lot and listened to the preview over and over at the time. Also the lyrics are so good, I love how they tell the entire story of Wandasho and show how much they mean to each other.
Rui: potato ni Natte iku. Still my favourite song in the game, I'm really never moving on from this one. I just really like the instrumental. Showtime Ruler is an incredibly close 2nd place though (really close. guitar solo at the end goes hard and also "I will never feel lonely ever again")
Kanade: Samsa. It's just an amazing song, but I also appreciate how teniwoha managed to connect the novella to Kanade and Mafuyu's story. Probably my favorite song from rotation 3.
Mafuyu: Bug. I know it's a boring choice but it's a good song, it's popular for a reason. Also RUIRUI'S SOLO VERSION. She's such a talented vocalist and is really good at conveying Mafuyu's emotions.
Ena: Kagirinaku Haiiro e. I've actually always liked the instrumental of this one. Also the lyrics fit Ena's story really well. However the final chorus totally steals the show, I loop that part of the song specifically a lot. Favourite Niigo song.
Mizuki: IDSMILE. I actually didn't like this song much at first because it's not the sort of thing I usually like. The lyrics are what got me to like it as much as they do. I've mentioned before that Mizuki is my favorite niigo member, so I'm slighly biased in that regard, but they really struck an emotional chord with me.
If anyone's interested my top 10 is potato ni Natte iku -> Showtime Ruler -> RAD DOGS -> CRaZY -> Beyond the way -> Cinema -> Kagirinaku Haiiro e -> CYBERPUNK DEAD BOY -> IDSMILE -> Gekkou

in commemoration of curtain call coming to global soon (my tiering hell begins in roughly 2 weeks), can we take a moment to think about the flower imagery in this event + miscellaneous info about rui that relates to this flower imagery. i may be reaching. Keep That In Mind. these are all just my personal interpretations :D also im not very articulate!!!!! and a good chunk of this is rambling!!!!! Thank You For Your Patience.
we all know that rui is on the greening committee! he absolutely adores nature, every single leaf that sprouts from whatever he plants and nurtures. he has read and literally memorized encyclopedias about poisonous plants as a kid and can now classify them at one glance.
additionally. do we also remember in his initial 1* card story where rui throws a caterpillar at tsukasa because he was about to step on one of the flowers (ABSOLUTELY UNHINGED, I TELL YOU. BUT ODDLY HEARTWARMING).
and then he just:
okay, jay. well, that has nothing to do with wxs and how much they mean to this loser.
what if i reminded you about the. The wxs coloured flowers.
andddd oh oh oh the actual lyrics to donketsu aka the song that changed my fucking life
Don't let the petals wither or let them fall
The flowers of the bouquet I held close to my heart
flowers in this case refer to the fruit that has sprouted for rui from having met wxs: being able to slowly open up to others (a whole other aspect of his character that requires an entire essay atp), bringing the shows he thought he would never be able to perform with others to life, and overall just. everything that he's been able to accomplish because he met wxs and has them supporting him by his side.
during curtain call, he was conflicted between two choices: rejecting an offer from one of the most famous theatre troupes in the country to continue performing with wxs, or leaving wxs and abandoning his position as their director in order to chase new heights and achieve his goal. his goal being to create shows that touch and connect people no matter who they are and where they're from. which will be made possible by joining the network of connections and unthinkable amount of budget and materials arkland has.
rui knew that the rational choice was joining arkland. but a part of him, buried deep inside his heart, still wants to perform with wxs. they have brought so much meaning into his life. he would do anything to keep a smile on their faces and goes to unimaginable lengths to protect them. without a director, wxs would fall apart. it's something that has been repeated ever since their main story: wxs is possible because the 4 of them are there together.
so if you look at it that way, the flowers in the bouquet can also be the members of wxs, too. if rui left, everything that they have achieved together "would be reduced to rubble." they would not be the same. and that goes for if tsukasa left, if emu left, if nene left.
to sum it up: not only does rui think of wxs as precious treasures that never stop shining, but also as beautiful flowers with the ability to make him smile by simply existing. they mean that much to him.
sedate me now
#project sekai#wxs#wxs rui#wxs tsukasa#wxs emu#wxs nene#kamishiro rui#kusanagi nene#tenma tsukasa#ootori emu#im going to be sick#i have lost my mind#rui and the love he has for his friends#you disgust me (loving)#goodness gracious i just realized that the flowers on the costumes are on the left side of the chest#which is where the heart is#which is where he kept the “bouquet of flowers” close in donketsu#i don't care if im reaching it's real in my head ok

I know I said this blog won't have any fancy graphs, but...
I put together a quick overview on who will get a center song next rotation! I also have elaborations on some less obvious ones.
Here it is:
First of all, let's get the ones who are guaranteed out of the way. Trust me, it's a lot of them. In fact, it's almost all of them.
"what makes them guaranteed?"
Basically the ones who are guaranteed are the characters who are the only ones left for their unit for a center song! Whether it is the unit's first cycle (four person units) or their second cycle (two person units), they are the only ones left for their units.
v Continued below the cut v
these characters are:
Tori, Hokuto, Tatsumi, Rei, Tomoya, Nagisa, Shu, Yuta*, Rinne, and Kohaku*.
*We are still awaiting the upcoming 2wink event after valk, but Hinata is 1st most due for a 5 star so it is basically guaranteed that he is getting the center song. If for whatever reason, it isn't him and Yuta gets the upcoming event, ignore Yuta on the overview and replace him with Hinata.
*I know the last Madara event was technically a MaM one, but MaM and DF usually get counted together which leads to Kohaku being next.
That's ten characters that are guaranteed to get a center song (I said it was almost all of them-).
For the ones not guaranteed, I will provide an elaboration on why it will be them (or in Knights' case, why I have no clue at all).
-Kanata: Ryuseitai's center is between Kanata and Midori. However, Midori has already gotten two events in his shuffle center and the recent 1.5 tour event. On the other hand, Kanata has so far only gotten one event in his SS tour. To keep balance within the numbers of the unit, Midori won't get his third event before Kanata gets his second one. Not to mention that Midori has had a center song with his shuffle and therefore takes priority over Kanata in the next Ryuseitai center song.
-Keito: Akatuski is going to start a new cycle of center songs in the next rotation. So you would think that it could be all three of them to get the center song, however this is not the case. All three of them have gotten two events. However out of the three of them, Kuro has gotten two center songs so far: Akatsuki center and shuffle center. This means we can leave him out as he won't get a third center before the others get their second. Which leaves Keito and Souma. Considering Souma only got his center song recently, it seems unlikely that he will get one so soon afterwards.
"but Mika-" I KNOW. However, Valkyrie is a two person unit which leaves for very little choice, especially when they want to switch things up. Considering Keito's center was longer ago, it would make more sense for HappyEle to go with him over Souma for next rotation.
-Knights: I am gonna be real with you, I DON'T KNOW. I can give arguments for both sides here. Let me explain: Izumi's shuffle center was alllll the way back in the first rotation, meanwhile Tsukasa had a tour for the SS. So you'd think Tsukasa will get the Knights center because Izumi already had a center song, right? WELL, we all know what happened with Kaoru, he got his center song last rotation even though he had a shuffle center in the first, leaving Rei in the dust. The same thing can happen with Izumi. Not to mention both of them have only gotten ONE event, it can go either way here. Frankly, I think whoever doesn't get the center song will get a tour anyways, but we can't be certain.
"but they wouldn't give Tsukasa another tour, right?"
Yeah they would, look at Tatsumi and Tomoya. I can't use the 5 star due list either because:
they are so close to each other that it can still go either way
the due list will change sooooooo much overtime that you can't tell the far future from it
In my opinion, both sides here are on equal grounds to get the next center song. Even though I feel like it will be Tsukasa, I can't be sure of it. So instead of putting one of them in the quick overview, I am leaving it open and advice that both IzumiPs and TsukasaPs prepare for an event. Just remember that they both only have gotten one event so far and that it's therefore likely that one might get a tour.
Now onto the last one:
-Sora: you could say that this one is kinda easy to determine. Tsumugi already has gotten three events, so he is definitely out. Natsume has gotten two events, while Sora only has gotten one. Since Natsume had his center song recently, while Sora had his event in the first rotation, it is easy to assume that Sora will get the next Switch center as well. Not to mention that in the current gacha round, neither Natsume or Tsumugi have gotten a 5 star yet. When they do, it will bump them way down on the due list, leaving free game for Sora to get the Switch center (or an event in general). Even in the off chance that Natsume (or maybe even Tsumugi) will get the next Switch center, there is a big chance Sora will get a tour or a shuffle center to get him up to two events.
So yeah, there you have, an overview on the next rotation + my elaborations. I don't have much to say as a closing statement other than just prepare. Prepare for anything, HappyEle is full of surprises. The guaranteed ones are likely to not change, so I wouldn't worry about those?? Just prepare for worst case scenario for the not guaranteed ones and also for the tours and shuffles!
I am hoping to get out a quick overview on who to prepare for for shuffle units next rotation as well once this gacha round is over, so be on the lookout for that!
#I hope it doesn't look rushed I just don't have that much time#maybe I should've waited for 2wink event announcement but nahhhh#enstars#ensemble stars#event tracker

Ha llegado el tiempo más esperada del país! La hora de la miseria en la cueva del homosexual :D
I feel overly annoying and confident so I decided to make you an analysis on why Eight by Sleeping at Last would make a beautiful hw song. I always imagined it a good Nene com, but since it doesn't quite match the music box event, maybe it'll serve you as inspiration for another one? Also Google isn't showing me the lyrics so I'm going to write them myself with extra emotionality✨, sorry about that.
Putting the lines colour coded for the characters and blue if I have no idea.
I remember the minute
it was like a switch was flipped
I was just a kid
Nene upon realising she forgot her words, completely alone in a hall full of people staring at her.
Who grew up strong enough to pick this armor on
And suddenly it fit
A LOT OF THINGS. Could be Tsukasa giving into his role of a people pleaser to make Saki and everyone around him happier at his expense, could be Emu giving up her "childish" behaviour after the Wonder Stage was closed off, could be Rui accepting that he is a monster and coming to live as a loner.
And god that was so long ago, long ago, long ago...
Nene and Rui. Do I even need to clarify?
I was weak and perfectly naive
And I grew up too quick
All of them honestly. What happened with Hollow Wonderland and having to give up their childhood to soon?
Now you won't see all that I have to lose
And all I've lost in the fight to protect it
Emukasa, constantly giving up, constantly fighting, yet so completely lost in the dark.
I won't let you in, I swore never again
I can't afford, no, I refuse to be rejected
Ruinene but actually all of them more or less, especially the fear of rejection part.
I want to break these bones 'til they're better
I want to break them right and feel alive
Ruikasa coded, to me. Rui who needs to be fixed just like the robots he fixes. Tsukasa who'd run his blood dry if it meant Saki could go out of the hospital.
You were wrong, you were wrong, you were wrong
My healing needed more than time
EMU. EMU WHO NEVER GOT TIME TO GRIEVE HER GRANDPA, EMU WHO NEVER HAD ENOUGH TIME TO HEAL OVER THE WONDER STAGE AND NOW SHE DOES BUT IT'S STILL SO SO LONELY AND WEIRD FOR HER TO EXPRESS EMOTIONS.
When I see fragile things, helpless things, broken things
I see the familiar
Something about Nene writing songs that capture the feelings of all those who were never let themselves cry. Something about Emu recognising Mafuyu's smile as something horrid because she's seen it before. Something about Tsukasa's lyrics always sounding like bedtime lullabies that he never got to hear. Something about Rui seeing the loneliness both of them hoard, a dim light in their eyes too familiar to forget.
I was little, I was weak, I was perfect, too
Now I'm a broken mirror
Could be anyone honestly this fits too well.
But I can't let you see all that I have to lose
All I've lost in the fight to protect it
I can't let you in, I swore never again
I can't afford to let myself be blindsided
All of them once again but can I just say HOW MUCH THE ATMOSPHERE CHANGES FROM THE FIRST ONE?? THEY'RE BEGINNING TO BE VULNERABLE YET THEY STILL RECOIL AT THE TOUCH, THEY DON'T WANT TO BE ALONE YET THEY FEAR PRESENCE MORE THAN ANYTHING. IS THIS ANYTHING. DOES ANYONE HEAR ME?
I'm standing guard, I'm falling apart
And all I want is to trust you
COULD BE RUI BUT COULD ALSO BE EMUNENE. JUST IMAGINE A VERY SAD EMU IN SMILE OF A DREAMER, CLOSE TO CRYING AS SHE HIDES AWAY, AND NENE COMING IN TO CARE FOR HER. IMAGINE THE TRUST. IMAGINE IT'S FAULTS.
Show me how to lay my sword down
For long enough to let you through
TSUKASA WITH THE SWORD OF THE KNIGHT PROTECTING THOSE HE LOVES AT HIS OWN EXPENSE. RUI WITH THE SWORD HE WAS GIVING A BIRTH — HE WAS BORN A WEAPON AND A MONSTER. ONCE AGAIN: TRUST. THE KIND OF "PLEASE SHOOT ME AND HOLD ME IN YOUR ARMS AS I DIE BECAUSE I CAN'T SAVE MYSELF AND I WON'T FORGIVE MYSELF IF I HURT YOU" TRUST. THE RUIKASA TRUST.
Here I am, pry me open
What do you want to know?
I'm just a kid
RUIEMU RUIEMU I CAN'T EXPLAIN BUT JUST— TWO KIDS WHO'S CHILDHOOD WAS RIPPED AWAY FOR BEING OSTRACIZED FOR SOMETHING THAT WASN'T THEIR FAULT.
Who grew up scared enough
To hold the door shut
And bury my innocence
NENEKASA. I know Tsukasa doesn't have anxiety nor anything close to it, but holding the door shut could be a way to show him staying at home while his parents spend their time with his dying sister. Alone in his room. Scared of monsters under his bed no one else will ever get to see because no one has walked into the house in more time he can measure.
But here's a map, here's a shovel
Here's my Achilles' heel
SOBBING HEAD IN HANDS STOMPING ON THE FLOOR BLOOD AND GUTS ALL OVER THE PLACE AS I SMASH MY SKULL INTO LITTLE PIECES THEY MAKE ME SO ILL
I'm all in, palms out
I'm at your mercy now and I'm ready to begin
The found family. The found FAMILY DUDE I CAN'T
I am strong, I am strong, I am strong enough
To let you IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIN
They have healed thanks to each other and now they're ready to take on the world.
I'LL SHAKE THE GROUND WITH AAAALL MY MIGHT
AND I WILL PULL MY WHOLE HEART UP TO THE SURFACE
NENE. NENE.
For the innocent, for the vulnerable
And I'll show up on the front lines with a purpose.
For the innocent goes to Emu for having to bury her own self in the backyard with tears in her eyes and mud under her nails. The vulnerable goes to Rui because he never got to be vulnerable with anyone but the one's he Rui-ned (never making that pun again). Because he was a born monster and monster don't have any feelings, so what's the point? And the "front lines with a purpose" part goes to Tsukasa because... Wow he finally found why he likes theatre so much, didn't he?
And I'll give all I have:
I'll give my BLOOD, I'll give my SWEAT
AND AN OCEAN OF TEARS WILL SPILL FOR WHAT IS BROKEN
ALL OF THEM SINGING IT TOGETHER PLEASE. THEY HAVE SACRIFICED SO MUCH AND GOT SO LITTLE, NOW THEY'RE WILLING TO TRY AGAIN AND SACRIFICE THEMSELVES FOR EACH OTHER.
I'm shattered porcelain
Glued back together again
INVINCIBLE like we've never been
What's that thing about filling your cracks with gold? What's that thing about fireflies shining in the dark of night? Yeah that thing.
ksdhjffd HI HELLO WELCOME. THIS IS SO FUCKING GOOD rotating this in my brain oh my god. i have some little notes on some lines that also mean a lot to me for other characters btw

Brain is full of donketsu lyrics
i dont know how to use tumblr anything for wansho i guess Still think its silly that the official shortened ver. of What kind of an ending are you wishing for?/donna ketsumatsu ga onozomi dai? is donketsu LMAO ANYWAYS!! donketsu as in the tuyu song for wansho. for a Rui focus. right off the bat its already depressing but like. yeah. I’ll also be considering Miku’s lines to be connected to Tsukasa! You should read this with the context of what happened in the story since I don’t really recap anything lmao. also really bad spelling so uh. yeah
Starting off with this. I feel like both the Emu and Nene lyrics generally fit them, with Nene always thinking about how wxs will eventually break apart and Emu with the thing about feelings, since she also tends to understand them well. The Tsukasa line might also be connected to how his card looks? He usually tends to be extremely positive about things like the future and how wansho will end up which reflects in the lyrics. The reference to flowers (IMO) are genius considering how Rui is in the greening committee, so it makes sense for flowers to be associated with him. “The flowers of the bouquet” could also equal his feelings of wanting to go pro and staying with wansho.
MIKU WHAT ARE YOU HIDING!!! Wansho Miku is always so.1!?!?!?!?? But I feel like this line could heavily be associated with tsukasa&nene (nene with her trauma, Tsukasa with... whatever the hell he repressed idk.) Rui’s line is definitely relating to what COULD'VE happened to him if Asahi hadn’t stopped him. his place with wansho, what could've been the future of wansho would be something he won’t be able to see :((
there's a whooole lot of places where wansho finished each-others sentences, like this part. They also do this in 1-2 fanclub, and i’m guessing this set of lyrics can be related to all of the characters, especially rui. I also think that instead of these, the lyrics might look more like:
“looking back, we came to show so many enchanting smiles” Either way, these set of lines seem to be reminiscing about what they’ve done. Nene and tsukasas part can also be a message to Rui: with Nene worrying about him in the event it could very well make sense she’s singing that, and tsk could be a follow-up. BUT!! tsukasa’s line is somewhat suspicious to me.
so far, rui has not sung with wansho. The reason nenekasa got the first line could be about how their dreams include having to leave wansho to achieve it. To become a world star Tsukasa would need to leave wansho, and nene would have to aswell if she wanted to sing around the world. The second line resonates with Rui especially. With that “smile” he gave to asahi while accepting his offer, this makes soo much sense. The Emukasa line might also relate to Rui, who had to tackle the question: “Do I want to stay with Wansho, or pursue my dream?” It could also very well relate to them, but I’m not too sure about how I could explain that. The last 2 lines... “all the logic in heaven and earth” could be reflecting how long Rui contemplated about joining Arc Land to pursue his dreams, and how he said he’ll join. In the event, Rui listed all the logical reasons as to why he should join Asahi. And then he accepted the offer. With all the logical reasons. Make sense?? I also find it ironic wansho miku is singing that with him, because she is nothing close to reasoning and logic www
I think this might be a lliiiiitle inaccurate. When I first heard this line, I thought it was more like: “Can’t these two feelings coexist with each other?” Either way, this is probably referencing about how Rui wanted his feelings of wanting to go pro and wanting to stay with wansho have difficulty coexisting.
I think the Miku line is closer to “If you were to set this bouquet aflame, “ so i’ll be going with that. This is the same bouquet mentioned before. The bouquet is DEFINITELY a reference to either Rui’s 2 feelings or his bond with wansho.
I don’t have much to say about these lines, but to me it also seems like wansho might be talking to Rui? They’re also singing affirmative lines. This part could also reflect the part in the story in which Rui reflects about how important Wansho was to him.
This always makes me think about how much Rui cares about wansho, and how much they all care about eachother :((
Rui is finally singing with wansho(nene)!! BUT ALSO THE LINES!?!?!?!? This part is where the mood drops a LOT compared to the other parts aswell... I feel like its really important emukasa r singing these lines, because they're also the ones with the Ferris wheel scene (which took place during wansho’s temporary disbandment) BUT ALSO. This is one of the only lines in which tsukasa shows weakness/his worries, and it also shows us apart of emu’s worries :(( THE THE THE ruinene lines too!! Rui&Nene tend to be the more negative of the group so them dreading how it might end or how much time they have left is!!!! so fucking evil of colorfulpallete. The last 2 lines are also. Even after all the logical reasons Rui pointed out, he STILL wanted to stay with wansho. His heart was louder than reasoning. The last line could be a question, to rui: What kind of ending does HE want? One that's as painful, one that he comes to regret, or one that ends in smiles? I feel like that message is genuinely so important for this event too. Rui eventually realized he didn’t want to end his time with wansho yet. And if he did, it wouldn’t end in real smiles! It would be regretful.
The very last verse!! The first line, unlike the other times, feels much more heartwarming. Maybe that’s just me? But unlike the other times, it also sounded less depressing? The second line could serve as a question to everyone in the group in SO MANY CONTEXTS. Tsukasa also mentioned it was somewhat painful to experience a month surrounded by so many talented people (although he dismisses it by saying he learned alot and it was overall great for him and what hes trying to achieve.) It probably serves to show how Wansho can go back to their plays, with rui safe and secure. They can go back to making others smile. There’s also alot of mention of seasons in this song... Instead of going away like seasons, this time it’s more positive: About the returning of the seasons. Rui is not answering the question, maybe? As in: not giving the answer might have been the best answer of them all. AND the 4th verse!! Rui coming out to understand that no matter how good that offer from Asahi was, he still wanted to stay with wansho. Finally, Rui has a response. The ending with wansho will surely be a happy one.
AAAND there's no way i can end this analysis like that
(pun is not intended) This song brings me to tears and screaming and crying and uhh you get the jist of it. GOD... Overall, everything is somehow able to be connected with time. At the start, it talks about the summer heat, the night and the breeze that comes with it. These are different TIMES of the day, and not everything is summer. Summer=a season, seasons change, Seasons changing is also related to TIME passing. The gacha is also called "Temple of Chronos Gacha.” Chronos, like the god of time. I feel like the concept of time in this song is just so. aggravating? Time can mean so many things. An end, a continuation, and more. It also makes sense with the hourglass motif of the event. I AM IN TEARS. I can’t get over the theme of flowers either. With flower meanings that can be thrown around and how much it connects to rui, its just... Rui also deeply cares about flowers and tending to them. The wansho colors in the flowers of their outfits might event represent that: the fact that rui cares about his bond with wansho: his friendship with wansho THAT MUCH. (i want to put rui kamishiro in a blender) This event was just so. GOOD. it made me feel super hopeless and sad when i was done but at the same time it just resonates with alot of problems people may relate to, and the message of the story is great. The way they portrayed everything, all of the things connecting to rui as a character in the event, and its just. GOD............. Thank you project sekai for making me want to explode Its also beautifully written. The event fits so well with how much they’ve been foreshadowing wansho drifting apart. I doubt it’ll stop here, because emu and tsukasa’s feelings about these kinds of things haven’t been revealed. I also think it’s worth thinking about the difference of the TUYU and Wansho versions. In my opinion, I feel like the Tuyu one could also reflect what Rui might have felt like if he were to actually join Arc Land. In Tuyu’s the final line sounds like the character is trying to convince themself their ending will be happy, because they came to regret the decisions they made to achieve their dream. That’s...oddly similar to what could’ve happened in the event, and also a different take on the lyrics. Wansho stories are so beautiful I cried a little BUT YEAH tldr get these kids alot of therapy

I've been wanting to go in-depth about Niigokasa's relationships with the rest of the Niigo for a while, so I'm finally doing it, no more procrastination for this lmao
While I rated their relationships from 1-10, no one reaches 10 nor does anyone reach close to 5 or below since naturally, Niigokasa is close to each of the members somewhat. I mainly used this because there are a few more characters with relationships to Niigokasa I wanna touch on in the future which uhh might be in a long time since some of them happen/improve after the Niigokasa events I thought of (yes I did think of two full Niigokasa event stories but I still haven't started writing them yet despite having all the groundwork laid out lmao Go me- Maybe I'll make another post talking about them if people are that curious lol)
Anyways, besides that, also tried making semi-Kizuna ranks for this so that's nice, behold my terrible editing skills and there might be quite a lot of stuff that might contradict canon but ugh whatever lol (these are also kinda long so better viewed on a computer probably lol)

Tsukasa and Mizuki
Before their first proper meeting in the Empty Sekai, they semi-knew each other from school albeit without Mizuki knowing Tsukasa was Kōu (Tsukasa's online name - Translation: Rainfall) due to his personality at school being extremely different and his tone of voice on Nightcord is much quieter and softer like he'll fall asleep at any moment.
On the other hand, Tsukasa did know that Amia was Mizuki due to recognizing their voice and the accessories Mizuki sometimes wore to school that he made for them himself as Kōu. (He sent them in letters to a post office near Mizuki's house.) Upon their meeting in the Empty Sekai, Mizuki was surprised knowing their senpai at school was Kōu while Tsukasa had to explain why he wasn't surprised about Amia being Mizuki. Despite describing this exhausting aura they feel from Tsukasa, especially with his eye bags and dead-like tired eyes, Mizuki does say that the smile he has feels the same as the ones at school, warm and genuine usually.
After the events of the main story, Mizuki starts going to school more frequently to meet Tsukasa, saying that besides having to go for attendance, they mainly go to hang out with him which warms Tsukasa's heart. Though the first few meetings are a little uneasy since Mizuki knows of Tsukasa's "true" personality, they quickly get along with him and actually start seeing the cracks with Tsukasa at school that must have been there all along. Mizuki starts seeing the work overload Tsukasa burdens himself with especially for the Theatre Club and when learning that Tsukasa is friends with Rui due to them both being in the Theatre club and asking if Rui knows, he says no with a feeling of detachment Mizuki picks up on easily and feels as well themselves personally. They worry for him a lot due to his overworking despite Tsukasa saying he'll be fine.
In their free time (or more like Mizuki pulling Tsukasa away from his work so he doesn't overwork himself to death), both at school and in the Empty Sekai, they like to create accessories for each other in person and pick up sewing tips from one another. Mizuki even decorated and braided some of Tsukasa's hair one time while adding cat ears to both of their heads so they can match. Tsukasa enjoyed it a lot though Ena who was there at the time thought it was overkill. Mizuki drags Ena to school during the day sometimes so they can watch Tsukasa's performances which Tsukasa is very grateful for.
✧・゚: *✧・゚:* *:・゚✧*:・゚✧
Tsukasa and Kanade
They first met online a few months before the events of the main story. When Kanade was losing inspiration for her next song, Mafuyu tried recommending looking at other people's works for inspiration this time around, so while looking at piano covers for melody inspiration, she ran into Tsukasa's piano channel via one of his covers being one of Niigo's songs. Kanade described his covers as bittersweet for some songs and downright depressing for others, sometimes feeling like his covers were cries for help. He even had some original piano songs that enhanced those feelings more along with showing Kanade that he knew how to make ear-catching yet heart-string-pulling melodies.
After being able to get ahold of Tsukasa via Nightcord, they started working together in little sessions that eventually concluded with Kanade getting Tsukasa to join Niigo. Though Tsukasa himself feels like he's not much help with the music writing process, Kanade reassures him that the melodies that he writes and entrusts to Kanade do wonders for their songs.
When first meeting in the Empty Sekai, like Mizuki, Kanade points out Tsukasa's exhausted expression and immediately shows worry for him. Tsukasa brushes it off saying that he's looked like this for years, though he personally can't tell if it's gotten worse lately. She assumes that he overworks himself just like her but due to doing so herself, Kanade felt like she didn't have much say in that regard. Even so, both of them constantly tell each other to sleep more and they only listen to each other about half the time.
After being able to create a piano melody that Mafuyu described as warm, Tsukasa entrusted the melody to Kanade and silently showed he wants to make a song that saves Mafuyu as well.
They mainly meet each other in the Empty Sekai where Kanade sometimes finds Tsukasa sleeping. She at first thought he was trying to disappear like Mafuyu (and later on Ena) but Tsukasa actually states that sometimes it's too painful for him to rest in his own house, so he comes to the Sekai to rest instead. While not fully understanding it at first and becoming worried for him again, she's glad that the Sekai can be sort of a safe haven for him and that he is at least getting some rest outside of their meetings. When meeting in person, Kanade occasionally uses Tsukasa for shade on bright days due to their height difference and is happy he doesn't mind.
✧・゚: *✧・゚:* *:・゚✧*:・゚✧
Tsukasa and Ena
Before first meeting in the Empty Sekai (and continuing afterward), Tsukasa always compliments Ena's artworks and describes the feelings he gets from them, even if they're different from what Ena had initially intended. Though he apologizes for the misconceptions, Ena says it's alright knowing that art can take many forms in the eyes of a viewer and actually takes this as a visual storytelling critique that she uses to change the drawings to better suit what she had in mind originally.
After meeting in the Empty Sekai, she realizes that Tsukasa looks like someone she saw during the times she would occasionally go to school during the day and properly met him for the first time in person when Mizuki took her to one of his school performances. Ena feels off-put by his louder and hyperactive personality at school, especially since outside of the times they meet at school, he's always his more calm and tired self. She does learn that Tsukasa actually wears some heavy foundation to cover up his otherwise noticeable eye bags and wonders if she should get some of the products he uses herself with all the comments Mizuki keeps making about the eye bags that are supposedly appearing on her face.
They also semi-relate to having troubled sibling relationships though Ena only states that they banter a lot mostly similar to how Ena banters back at Mizuki whenever they try to tease her. Upon receiving the question about how Tsukasa's relationship is with his sibling, he stays silent before saying he doesn't want to talk about it in a pained voice that Ena picks up on. She understands him not wanting to talk about it, which Tsukasa is grateful for.
✧・゚: *✧・゚:* *:・゚✧*:・゚✧
Tsukasa and Mafuyu
After meeting the "true" Mafuyu in the Empty Sekai, Tsukasa could already feel an emotional connection to Mafuyu, especially after the mentions of wanting to disappear. Though he doesn't mention it, he agrees with Mafuyu's statement and stays silent once Miku sends him and the rest of the members besides Mafuyu herself. Deep inside, he doesn't want Mafuyu to disappear though. This makes him remember the guilt and pain he has gone through for years regarding his feelings of wanting to disappear.
Whenever they meet each other in the Empty Sekai, they usually don't have much to talk about besides music. When asking if anyone knows of the Tsukasa Niigo knows of, Tsukasa does state there is one person who does know this side of him and actively supports him through it. Sometimes Tsukasa feels for the troubled relationship Mafuyu has with mainly her mother, knowing how it feels to try and live up to their expectations to make his own parents happy despite their constant absence.
When Mafuyu got to meet the Tsukasa who acted hyperactively, she felt a connection that Tsukasa first felt when he got to start learning about the real Mafuyu. They both relate to each other by acting for other people and wanting to please others, but unlike Mafuyu, Tsukasa does have passions that he chases after and things he likes to do despite how worn down he is. While respectful of him, this makes Mafuyu feel slightly envious of Tsukasa being able to have a true self outside of his acting compared to her and wonders if she'll ever find her own true self. Whenever Mafuyu goes even through the slightest change, Tsukasa notices it immediately and feels happy for her even if he doesn't state so verbally most of the time.
✧・゚: *✧・゚:* *:・゚✧*:・゚✧
Andddd I'm done! (for now lmao) I feel like there's so much more stuff I could have written for all the characters, especially taking into consideration one of the Niigokasa events I thought of, but I attempted to keep it out of this post at least lol Sorry if there are lots of spelling/grammar mistakes or some parts are just me going on a ramble, especially for the Mafuyu section. I found myself just trying to put down whatever I thought of at this point knowing how long I spent trying to write each section. I also wanted to allude to Niigokasa's character even more since I honestly haven't done so at all even with my art or the introduction I posted for him a long time ago, so hopefully, this hypes up any future content I decide to make of him lmao
Once again, tysm to everyone who read through all this!

hey hey, hope youve been doing well!! <3 ive lost sm sleep trying to tier pls i was ready to collapse
also tysm both of you for the kind words!! your headcanons inspired me to share mine and im glad that i did!! <3 also also horribly off topic but i go by he/they pronouns and ppl literally never use they/them and i think i sobbed a little seeing someone actually use it (which makes NO sense bc you didnt even know my preferred pronouns but im happy anyway sldhfk)
okay okay anyway i present you with short but sweet rui birthday headcanons!!
wxs would def try to give you a role in the birthday show
if you accept, rui would be rly touched seeing you try your best for him, and he would be so so happy watching you get along with wxs!!
if you cant enter the sekai, rui would love to spend his evening (or the next day) with you!!
he would adore and appreciate any plan you make for his special day, but he would def tease you about it (very lovingly)
if you asked him what he wanted to do, he would suggest a shopping trip for materials!! cue holding hands and talking about wtv while he shops for parts <3
he adores literally any gift you give him!!
if its something he can display, he would have it with him in his workshop!! if its something he can wear, he would always be wearing it!!
and while he absolutely adores the gift you gave him, he would treasure the time spent with you most <3
he thought that his birthdays would always be lonely but he was proven wrong, and he wouldnt have it any other way
happy (belated) birthday to rui <3
- tsukasa anon!!
You're back! I'm so happy! Tiering was pretty tough this last event, but now you can finally rest if you haven't already. Thank you for letting me know your pronouns so I know for the future. If I don't much about who I'm talking about I just use they/them by default, but I'm glad I got it right for you!
I feel bad for not doing much for Rui's birthday writing wise. I've just been creatively dead the past week. Thank you so much for the cute bday headcanons for him <3
He would be so moved seeing you taking part in a performance just for him. Even more so if you normally don't like going on stage and all.
I feel like you'd have to make one on one time with him the next day cause I'm sure Tsukasa and the others had a huge party for him. He couldn't care less about what he did or where he went or even what gift were given to him for his birthday (though he'd of course cherish it all), he is just so happy he now has people in his life to spend his birthday with, aside from just his parents and Nene. But regardless, spending a day going out to shop for things to use for the projects he loves making and getting a meal at a restaurant he loves all with the person he loves so dearly? He couldn't think of a better way to spend the day with you.
This might be a bit random, but I've had so many questions and ideas regarding the Sekai and who outside of the main 4 per group could be able to enter. Like, just thinking with wxs - if someone were to join their troupe to perform and help them reach their dreams, would they then be able to enter the Sekai? Let's say Rui dates someone and that person gets pretty close to the other three too, would they be able to enter, whether it be through their own untitled song or being near one of the others when they play it? I'm sure if Rui or any of the others were dating someone outside of their troupe, they'd have to tell them about the Sekai just because it's such a huge secret to keep from a partner, even if they can't enter and could only see the v singers through the phone holograms. I wanna know so bad lol

Dark Souls: The Art of Quiet
(okay this was just kinda on my mind so i’m just gonna take this thought and roll with it because this is going to be a very, very long essay on game design and music design and how these things are correlated. so bear with me.)
This is going to be very long, but it contains about everything I want to praise about the series as a whole. Honestly I’d make a video on it but I don’t know how to do that well yet, so uh... here.
Introduction:
Dark Souls, as a series, relies heavily on the art of its quiet moments... which is to the say most of the moments in the game.
It’s an important factor to the experience. Not only does it allow you to create your own moments and experiences, and allow your mind to focus on getting through the grind that is the stages up until the boss, but it’s also a tribute to what’s to come.
Tension
The first thing I’d like to note that the quiet creates is tension, which is an important thing in games. Many tend to rely on allowing music to take the scene, either growing slower or more quiet before a boss or a major event, yet in Dark Souls, they choose to simply not include music at all, which lets the scenes you do hear a song play become ever more powerful in one way or another, be it your hubworld or your boss.
The music heard in Firelink Shrine, from either DS1 or DS3, or Majula from Dark Souls 2, can be incredibly soothing, relaxing moments in your journey, where you can lay your instincts to rest for a moment as you heal, talk to NPCs, repair your weaponry and armour, purchase items, all before heading back into the fray and once again facing the quiet that blankets your world. It’s an underrated experience, one that nobody truly thinks about, but the music in that moment truly does make an impact on your journey. It solidifies the moments where you can drop your guard, if even for a few moments.
Yet, against bosses, this tension pays off. Every song is masterfully crafted by the three primary composers for the series, Yuka Kitamura, Motoi Sakuraba and Tsukasa Saitoh, who breathe life into the creatures, knights, champions, kings, queens or even gods you may face with sounds that illustrate their livelihood, their resolve, and in contrast, yours.
Payoff
Powerful tracks such as Iudex Gundyr represent the start of your journey, and the first challenge you will face among many. He is likely the boss where most of your deaths are going to lie, and ultimately a reflection of not only the quest ahead of you, but the warrior you will eventually become. This specific song, even, comes back later in the game when you face him in his prime, and loses none of the power it had. It reminds you of the fallen Champion, now titled Judge, that you faced at the beginning of your journey, and is a tribute to the growth you’ve made and the challenges that lie before you, despite being at the very end.
Songs such as Dark Moon Gwyndolin present a holy, powerful force, yet carries itself so gracefully with an elegance you can’t find in nearly any boss theme that you hear later in this game, nor any game to come. The boss that uses this theme is fragile, frail, yet powerful, carrying no weapons and only electing to use their wits and intellect to face you. They represent a divinity, and that holiness carries in this theme...
... yet, to contrast it, lies the dark reflection in Aldrich, Devourer of Gods. The purity reflected in the prior theme is twisted into a deathly ill tale representing not only the fate of Darkmoon Gwyndolin, but the horror of what had happened to them. This song is both a tribute and a death sentence, all the more twisted and dark when the second phase is heard.
And, against all of those, stands a specific song from Dark Souls 2, an often overlooked game in the series. The theme of Sir Alonne is a theme most treasure, regardless of the backlash against that game. It carries a power that represents the boss in every capacity possible: the honour he fought with to defend and uplift his king, the power he carries himself with, the sheer dignity of his character. He’s a character who’s committed no sinful acts, no atrocities, which is rare in the series as a whole. And, amongst the community, fans of the game will demand respect for the boss, and this theme will give you the impression of exactly why.
What’s to draw from this?
The songs of Dark Souls ultimately reflect the silence, however. The tension of the silence compounds upon itself with every death, and on the other side of the coin, the lack of death you may have faced. It lets you build your own journey, your own soundtrack within your mind. Without a soundtrack to accompany those events, your journey becomes your own rather than a path you’ve been led down. The character is not guided in some fashion, not shown a single path, and your emotions are not forced in any way by the soundtrack of the stages, until the moment it all reaches its endpoint. The final moment of that journey up until then, where it all climaxes into the one moment you hear a song.
And with that being said, the ultimate representation of the art of quiet while paying respect to its soundtrack, are two final songs I absolutely have to talk about because it’s Dark Souls.
Gwyn, Lord of Cinder.
This song is the ultimate contrast to every moment prior. Every boss faced before then has demanded a feeling of vast importance, undermining you in every possible way... yet, at the end of your journey, this is what you hear.
It’s a silence that pays tribute to not only you, but the fallen legacy of the god that stands before you. He is the end goal for your journey, and yet such a simple song befalls him compared to the powerful symphonies, the orchestrations that have pushed you onward in your path to the end. It’s a simple song for a simple end: you versus him, and that’s all. And, at the end of it, the song itself represents such a silent, quiet end to this god’s life, and yet not his legacy.
All of which comes to a close in Dark Souls III, with the powerful ending it holds for you.
The Soul of Cinder is a fight that takes place several centuries in the future, where the flame itself you, in the first game, slew Gwyn to protect and prolong the life of. It is, again, your final challenge, and is an amalgamation of every single soul that has ever made the journey you’ve made just then, yet again. It wields not one weapon, but about all, drawing from the strength of every soul it can to defend its position. Everything you’ve learned up until this point is called into question in this moment, and your entire journey reaches the ultimate climax... yet, your silence does not.
For in phase 2, it reaches back further. Everything you’ve learned not just in this game, but throughout your entire experience throughout the series.
Once again, the art of quiet is into play. All the way back to the start, it summons that same strength the theme offered you before, as the fight reflects that very same energy. To a new player, this is simply a new phase. But to those who were there from the beginning, this is a powerful reminder of what used to be. What, many years ago, they had faced and triumphed again. It is a reflection of their full journey, of the journey Dark Souls takes you through as a whole, and the quiet of this song is a respect to both the series and you altogether.
Epilogue:
Dark Souls ,as a series, puts into play a powerful experience where it masterfully takes the art of its silent moments in order to make the experiences the game holds at the forefront all the more exciting, empowering and enriching. It is a tribute to not only the power of the bosses it proudly puts before you, but a tribute to you and your journey as well. It places importance where importance lies, and allows these moments to embed themselves into both your memory and your experience with a significance the rest of the game doesn’t allow.
You don’t remember the stages, you remember the bosses. And that’s no fault of the game, because that’s where the best parts of its design can ultimately lie- not that there isn’t anything to appreciate otherwise.
Because, truly, Dark Souls is your experience to have. The moments that matter most will be yours to claim.
May the flames guide thee.

Canary Soirée - Prologue
I’m a little nervous to be doing a full Knights event but this has been requested by a lot of people so I’m going to do my best with it! Despite my penchant for translating Valkyrie stories, Knights is actually my favorite unit so I’m very happy to be able to work on this.
As always, I’m not a professional translator and I do this both to improve my own Japanese and to share these stories with the fandom in general - so, with that in mind, please enjoy!
The Songbird’s Song * Soirée in the Canary Hall - Prologue
Season: Autumn
Location: Studio
Arashi: everyone’s here already!? Hmm, I guess the agreed-upon meeting time has passed already. I’m so sorry for being late!
Izumi: hmph; if this was at a job, do you think ‘I’m so sorry!’ is gonna cut it?
Well, today’s just a normal unit meeting, and I guess you seem remorseful, so I can overlook it this time.
Anyway, did you happen to run into Ou-sama on your way here?
Arashi: not that I recall...I see. I thought I was the last to arrive, but I guess that’s not the case.
Tsukasa: correct. I have attempted to contact Leader on his smartphone many times, but I only receive an announcement stating that ‘this device is either turned off or has no reception’ when I do.
Ritsu: hmm~. Since this is Ou-sama, isn’t it possible that he’s dropped his phone somewhere without realizing? Or that it just ran out of battery life?
...huh? Hey, doesn’t that sound like footsteps coming this way?
Arashi: fufu, so Ou-sama finally makes his appearance.
Izumi: hmm, is someone knocking? Ou-sama never bothers with that, so I have a feeling that it might not be him.
It’s not locked, so come in.
...Huh, Anzu? What are you doing here? You know we’re using the studio for our weekly meeting, right?
Hmm? You came here because you need something from us?
Arashi: my, I’m glad that Anzu-chan came to request a job from us directly. I wonder if that means our achievements are being recognized.
Izumi: since Ou-sama came back, it’s been easier for us to keep advancing. Our reputations as idols have increased, and it’s becoming more common for us to get requested by name these days.
We couldn’t be that picky with jobs back in the spring, but that’s not the case anymore, so if you came to us specifically that means this has gotta be good, right?
I won’t take on jobs that I don’t feel are worthy of us.
Arashi: ‘won’t take on’...last time I checked, that sort of decision wasn’t up to you, though?
Even if you don’t like it, there’s a chance Ou-sama will just exclaim, ‘Interesting!’ and drag us all into it anyway.
Izumi: yeah, yeah. He might even show up while we’re talking, but for the time being, let’s hear this proposal.
Arashi: hmm, hmm...a live at a certain Western-style building? You thought the atmosphere would suit Knights, so you came to ask us first?
Hmm, it’s a perfect hall for princesses to dance in?
Fufu, doesn’t that sound lovely? And even more than that, I’m so flattered that you think of me as a princess ♪.
Ritsu: hold on, she said that it was the ‘perfect hall for princesses to dance in’, so what makes you think that you were included there?
Hmm~, that’s not really enough information, though.
Huh? You’ve got a picture? Let’s see it, then.
Tsukasa: I see...as Onee-sama said, it’s a beautiful venue.
Arashi: it almost feels like a ballroom out of a fairy tale...anyone would be happy to dance in a place like that ♪.
Tsukasa: hmm, hmm. So it’s called the Canary Hall. Once upon a time it was a place built by a well-known noble family, but now it’s merely being used as an event space?
However, the age of the building has started to catch up with it, and because it needs extensive repairs, it’s to be demolished in the near future?
So, management there requested a special live to be held as a sort of closing event?
Arashi: it’s an honor to be nominated by you, Anzu-chan, but I think we would feel equally as honored to be able to close out the legacy of such a historic building like this.
And while it’s true that Ou-sama has the final say, personally I would very much like to agree to do it.
Tsukasa: Seconded. Not only is it a request from Onee-sama, but it seems like a job perfectly suited to Knights as well ♪.
Ritsu: well, since these two are so motivated, I really have no reason to refuse. I’m in.
Izumi: ...I have no objections, either, but we really should ask Ou-sama before agreeing for sure.
I mean, did he totally forget that we even had a meeting today?
Arashi: I don’t think he would have forgotten, especially since I reminded him over and over again on the way home from school yesterday...hmm?
Ufufu, speak of the devil, and he shall appear. Those footsteps must surely be our missing Ou-sama.
Leo: wahahaha! Sorry, sorry; I’m suuuuper late!
Even though I’ve been to the studio so many times, I always seem to lose my way~? Or maybe there’s magic around that prevents people from seeing the entrance?
Wahaha, how interesting! Inspiration has started to spring forth...☆ I’ll compose a song about a magician who plays tricks on unsuspecting travelers!
Izumi: can you not start writing songs the second you walk into the room...the only reason you get lost is because you’re an idiot with no sense of direction.
Leo: what was that!? Calling me an idiot when you’re an even bigger one; idi~ot, idi~ot!
...Hmm? Ah, Anzu’s here! What are you up to?
Ah, wait! Don’t tell me! Let me guess!
You’re here because you have a job that you want us to consider?
Well? Did I get it?
Arashi: ufufu, you’re completely correct! Sorry for the inconvenience, Anzu-chan, but now that Ou-sama has arrived, do you mind explaining the specifics again?
Leo: yep, start from the top! I won’t cut you off, I want to hear the whole thing. Tell me exactly what you told the rest of them~ ♪

NON-SPOILER REVIEW
Overall: This was so good!! I am so glad that I went!! It was so good. It was absolutely amazing. It's difficult to explain but the story just entirely suited my taste and it was well acted and the songs were all great and I enjoyed pretty much all the characters which is unusual for me xD And the best part about the stage was definitely the bench interactions!! The bench interactions were amazing!! I couldn't stop watching them! I also loved how dark this stage was compared to others and previous ones. I felt like the atmosphere was really heavy for this one, or that I was just so completely engrossed in the whole thing this time around. And I got to see Hiroki in action again which was great! Also I was looknig forward to seeing this new Seigaku Gen - or at least went in with a clear mind and no pre-bias - and I enjoyed their performances so much -- they even got me crying a few times! This. Was. Great! Rating: 8.5/10

SPOILER
This'll be split into the two parts of the play and then some extras or whatever.
PART ONE
Some of the Higawaris that I remember were mostly from Higa: FAS: 太ってる あなたにオススメ シェイプアップ F&D: fitness and diet All were aimed at Tanishi obviously xD
As I said before, I couldn't take my eyes of the bench. Especially Jiro, he really caught my eyes during this stage. I spent more time watching what he, and the rest of Hyoutei were doing, rather than what was happening in the main plot and story xD Some things that Jiro did that caught my eye were:
☆Jiro falling backwards while sat on the steps and falling asleep onto Taki xD ☆Jiro dancing during Gakuto's pair song. ☆Jiro being so supportive of his other members and just never stopping!
Other things I spotted from other members on the benches were: ☆Eiji giving Taka a racket and then when it was taken away from Taka just after, Eiji tried to hide from him but Taka stormed over and held onto his shoulders and Eiji just stood in shock like 'omg what is he going to do to me!!' it was really cute and funny.
Speaking of Seigaku: I really like this new Seigaku already! Which is good!! Inui‘s actor can sing really well and he sounded so great! I like this new Seigaku so much that I actually felt sympathy for the Seigaku members; Tezuka's solo was so good and so dark!!! I was crying for Tezuka during his match!! That NEVER happens with me! And Fuji’s solo at the end of part one (Heavy Rain) was so good!!! He sounded great! Also when Fuji and Atobe were dancing together!!!! I ship it!!! They looked so good together! It was great! Also, Momo’s actor is good but his voice feels a bit too low that it’s kinda suffering during the songs he sings.
The day I went, there was only one mistake and the entire audience died of laughter for a good minute which ruined the moment but it was funny: Just after his match when he returned the the bench, Gakuto slipped down the stairs a little and because it was this silent moment between Tezuka and Kabaji, everyone heard and everyone's attention went there. The audience died laughing. All of Hyoutei kept it together during this moment but poor Eiji’s actor was looking over at what happened and he cracked up laughing too. But kudos to pretty much everyone keeping it together and acting completely normal. But for some reasons all the audience just found it so amusing!
Other comments:
☆I love how DARK this stage it! For some reason Tenimyu always seemed like this happy, clappy, fun and games stage but for some reason I found this one SO dark and I absolutely loved it!! I really do enjoy dark plays.
☆Higa are the very first to enter the stage and straight away they are hilarious. They come in from the sides on stupid boats and come down either aisle. Once they get out of their tiny boats (by the way, one is being dragged behind by a rope and ring xD) and on shore, they started rapping. HIGA DID RAPPING AGAIN! It was great! And what was even better is that they got the entire audience to clap along to their song! Which I really appreciated!
☆The first three opening school songs were so strong and so good!! I enjoyed every single one; Higa then Seigaku then Hyoutei. They were really powerful and so enjoyable to watch!
*
PART TWO
During the breaks between the two arts, I ran out to buy Kaido and Jiro's bromides. I got about 30 minutes into part one before I was like 'duh goddammit I love Kaido! I should've picked them up straight away!' and then damn Jiro came along and my brain went 'shit this kid is too cute! I must support him and get his bromides!' Jiro has always been cute but I've always thought no one would ever out-do was Tomorun did as Jiro but damn Tamura is so cute as Jiro! He's so bouncy and hyper and so funny. Speaking of Jiro; more Jiro adorableness:
☆Jiro sleeping between Oshitari's legs. ☆When Jiro fell asleep on Otori and Atobe, and Atobe lifted Jiro's hand (that was touching his leg) in disgust and pushed it off himself xD ☆Jiro making fun of Eishiro Buchou was absolutely hilarious! He just kept going because the audience were dying of laughter. And then some members were like 'Oi.. OI!' and trying to get him back to the bench.
Jiro needs to be protected. Jiro is a sweetie. Jiro is amazing xD
More Higa moments and Higwaris:
☆During the end of one of their appearances, Rin hit Buchou on the head but when Buchou turned around, Rin had already slipped past and gone off stage, so he thought Kai did it, so he grabbed Kai by his shirt collar and dragged him off stage. Kai's toes were like tiptoes as he was dragged off stage xD ☆There was another moment when the (I think) Buchou said something and Tanishi got really angry and went to attack him but then Shiranui grabbed Tanishi's arm and pulled him back so that Shiranui could attack; Tanishi was super shocked by the strength Shiranui had and the audience cracked up laughing from the twist of events that Shiranui was the strong one in the group. Luckily Aragaki stopped Shiranui from attacking and got him to back off xD ☆Towards the end of the stage, Higa had to break a watermelon with their eyes closed, but they all failed so Eishiro said he would show them how it's done, but instead of a watermelong, Shiranui (I think) pretended to be it and when Buchou went to hit the watermelon, he caught Buchou’s hand and of course Buchou was dumbfounded xD
Lets talk about the giant final match shall we because the entire final match was amazing!
☆Nichika’s pronunciation with all the English lines was really good!! ☆When Echizen and Atobe were having an evil laugh showdown, Atobe's laugh was so gooood!! HOMG... ☆When Echizen threw his cap and Kaido caught it oh so perfectly! I was so impressed with how flawlessly he caught it! ☆Now can we talk a little about Hiroki’s butt? Because damn it was so damn obvious in those shorts!! He has such a good butt! Even from 3rd balcony, I could tell he fit nice and tightly into those shorts... ☆And ohhhmyyyygoooddd can we talk about the amount of hip rolls he did during this damn stage and in different songs and stuff!!! Oh my... ☆Huge kudos to both the boys during the final match because even watching it, I as getting exhausted for them! It goes on for so long and they're constantly running around the stage and Hiroki is doing all his ballet jumps the entire time and stuff! Damn Hiroki must have been exhausted after that! ☆The final match between Echizen and Atobe was so intense and so much dancing and performance. Just damn. I absolutely loved this entire last segment of the stage. So intense, so well choreographed, so well performance and presented. It was phenomenal.
Other comments:
☆Ohhhhh I teared up during the Golden Pair song and I really, really don't like Golden Pair in general, but even they got me in the feels this night!! Which just shows already how much better this gen is! ☆I really liked all the doubles duet song. And all the songs in general I really got into and enjoyed! ☆Just before the final song, the ending is with all the school's songs remixed and it was great! ☆BUT the encore song and dance is silly in my opinion. It was ridiculous. ☆During the EnCore, Kai came to our side!! I have had the best luck with him seriously... ☆During the EnCore song, Echizen was slacking off to the right side of the theatre, and when Tezuka saw him and Echizen got worried and began to move away from him. ☆Kaido made it back on stage just girigiri right at the end of the EnCore song xD ☆I realised today that I like Tenimyu when it’s dark. Like this stage is dark as fuck. But one thing did ruin it, and it was infact Echizen's song. It was a bit too happy clappy and just ruined the dark mood in my opinion xD just keep it ALL dark!! xD ☆Now I know this is going to sound hypocritical but I appreciate that the very end of stage ended on a funny note. Echizen came on stage with a razor and some classical music started playing and Echizen started doing ballet moves towards Atobe but then obviously Taki comes on stage and says he'll sacrifice his hair so begs Echizen not to shave Atobe's xD I think we needed something like this AT the end to just bring us all out of the story and back to reality a bit.

#0 the place we couldn’t return to
The cold air filled the moonless night like water would a glass. It makes everything so clear but vague still; every single sound so loud but makes no sense. He took each step blindly, anchoring them as the weight he dragged came forth with him.
He wanted to get there soon.
Although it was dark, he was moving with such faith that only came from the frequencies of going up that hill many times before. It felt like home. All those years of being away couldn’t let him astray from the memories of maneuvering through the greens and shades of the secluded hill with crickets chorusing the same song for decades. Regret was when he couldn’t feel the same freedom it gave him back then. Maybe it’s the different purpose this trip ensued.
A sudden tug on his left arm stopped him and he let go of the burden he was dragging, realizing that he had held his breath throughout most of the journey. The muffled sound made him smile and faced the velvet sky to catch his breath. Raking back his hair, a rustic stench flared his senses from his hand. He looked at his palm; thick wet scarlet barely black in the darkness.
So, it was blood, he thought. It wasn’t just perspiration from the labor of hiking all the way up into the thickets of that hill. When did that happen? At Tsukasa’s? Or was it before he went there? He couldn’t recall.
"We're almost there. Don't worry," he assured, and the brown sack he was dragging moved as if in agreement to his assurance. He took another deep breath, so tempted to stop and rest but can't. Resuming his long journey to that place he kept remembering.
Why are you doing this?
“Why are you asking a question you have answers to?” he admonished under his breath. The hollow pain in his chest gripped harder and erased his smile. All those time wasted, being so near yet so far, had brought him to a certain illusion that he could try and concede one more time. That he should try to not fight what people want of him at least once more. And let them dictate a meaningful resolution to end their misery from their constant haunting over what he did wrong. All for the relentless hope of holding onto at least a memory of her in his heart.
“You shouldn’t stop thinking that people give you the answers you need. They’re giving you the answers they want you to take. That's all,”
You are right, Ken…they don't care, he replayed. It seemed like yesterday that his childhood friend was saying that while they were slaving away their summer break from college at their hometown's temple. While it was his chore by default, Ken was just tagging along cause he looked ‘lonely’ cleaning around the temple on his own. How did that become a decade old history? What changed between them that he couldn’t say a word when he called that unruly man’s home number the minute he was free? Maybe the mistaken belief that Ken was cutting him off when in reality, his bestfriend just simply died. And no one had the decency to tell him about it.
The moon decided to peek from behind the clouds. He was glad as he resumed his mission uphill.
The walk seemed like it'd go forever until he saw feathers of scarlet in bits and pieces on the grassy ground. He smothered a chuckle when he recognized what it was, picking up his pace despite the inertia added by the struggling man in the sack. They were entering the clearing up that hill of that small god-forsaken town. He was finally back there again. It felt like a dream. Renewed energy changed his pace and scenery, and before he realized it, he was running. He stopped at the clearing’s entry, the end point of the trail that narrowed from the wild mountain azaleas blooming in reckless abandon.
Opening the sack, he pulled it down revealing the gasping man within it. The ringing in his ear made his heavy head hurt a little more than he’d preferred.
久しぶりですね、お兄さん。。。
“It’s been a long time, Oniisan,” he smiled. His brother looked up at him, frowning, not from the pain of rough administrations. His bleary eyes unfocused, trying to make out the person standing in front of him.
“Chinatsu,”
His smile widened and he felt his unusually protruding canines making itself visible.
"Are you well?" he asked, feeling conversation hit the wall before it even left his lips. Tsukasa stared at him like he would a stranger and he didn't blame him.
"I'm sorry that I have to take you all the way out here. But I think this may be the best place...to talk," he clarified, pulling out the cold steel that had been resting in the pocket of his jacket.
Tsukasa just stared at the gun in Chinatsu's hand, not really surprised. One can only take so much suffering.
It had been too long since the last time he saw him. The last time they saw each other, Chinatsu looked more confused and hurt. Now, he can no longer tell. Not to say that he didn't know. Because he knew why both of them were there. Unraveling the rope that bound his wrists, letting him compose himself...Tsukasa understood. They could no longer catch up for all the lost time.
"I know," he confided before Chinatsu uttered a single word.
I know you didn't do it
I know I should have come for you
I know you hate me
I know you want to kill me
But no words came out. It was a long wait, deliberating with his own justification of why he did what he did. Even if he could turn back time, he doubted that any attempt he made to change the course of events that led to this will make any difference.
Chinatsu got down in front of him, levelling their similar heights so they could see eye to eye. He smiled again, the redness enveloping them seemed to have sworn to secrecy. It was beautiful. Their resilient blooms rampaged the otherwise open clearing. So hidden away, it'll be days before anyone could find them if they tried. "I know that you do," he affirmed, making sure that Tsukasa could see what he was referring to.
"Why didn't you fix it?"
How do you tell your brother that nothing is what it seemed? That it wasn't his fault and it was just something they can't change and nor can he. Tsukasa pondered, tasting the rustic blood in his mouth; a consolation that at the very least, Chinatsu had given him a punch or two. Maybe they should've been more honest with each other or he could've trusted Chinatsu more. Replaying all the possible ways of how things could have been different made him more and more unsure of himself.
"I don't know,"
A chuckle escaped him.
"I was hoping that you could try and be honest with me just this once. But you can't."
Chinatsu pressed the gun to Tsukasa's temple and the man did not flinch. He can't help but to smile again; Tsukasa had always been the brave one. He was his older brother after all. Which made it hurt more
"You left me there and let them believe it was me." He got closer so that he could smell the nostalgic scent of pine on Tsukasa. "You let them believe it was me," he rasped, pressing it harder into Tsukasa's head, hating how unaffected Tsukasa was. Why was he looking at him like he truly was sorry.
"And you took her away from me too,"
"I'm sorry,"
"Stop saying you're sorry!" he barked, stabbing the nozzle of the threatening weapon on Tsukasa's chest. His ear rang again, triggering the pain through his ear straight to his brain. It hurts so much that he caught himself from falling by standing up; not once wavering from the target he pinned on his brother's chest.
"We both know it 's too little too late" he laughed. His left arm extended, holding onto the tremors held within his shaking muscles. How miserable it was to hold that infinitesimal pain of being betrayed that way. They have no idea the monster they created inside him when he finally stopped trying to prove that he was innocent. Suddenly, he looked into the mirror and saw that he had changed, morphing into something he can no longer recognize, all along holding some semblance of hope that he will come back to her. That all will become just a hazy nightmare once he sees her safe and sound somewhere. It didn't have to be him in that picture of hope. Just her and her smile alone.
The gun clicked and Tsukasa stayed put.
"I'm sorry," he said again.
Chinatsu aimed at the left side of his chest, imagining the bullet cleanly piercing through his body. It would be liberating. For him and for Tsukasa. Since they both can't leave the prison they've made for themselves, this may be the only way out of it.
The breeze breathed through the leaves and blossoms, stirring each petal and emptying the silence between them. He saw the branches beckoned and the azaleas firmly bent along with the wind, not fighting and just holding on till they broke off from their own weight. Just falling and landing onto the ground. Brilliantly scarlet still.
So graceful and gentle. On the bed of her own kind, a flower descended. Not changing its color like it promised to be happy forever.
You should always keep finding things to be grateful for. Because you're never without one and sometimes it takes two to not be lonely.
Yes. It takes two to not be lonely anymore, he agreed.
You can't pretend to not feel pain when you're hurt. That angle isn't going to work for you. Or me. Or anyone, for that matter. But that's why it's beautiful, you know. When you are still kind even when you're in pain.
A mirth of laughter escaped him. Her voice forever imprinted in his heart. And he can't let go. That's his problem.
Yep, that's our problem. We think too much.
A shot rang into the sky. For a moment, there was true silence.
He closed his eyes and he breathed in the scent of the forest and the mountain so that every part of it was committed to memory. Like the flowers falling and landing where they should be, he shrugged it off. The fog in his eyes was not clearing still but the exit never was more obvious. Turning away, he retraced his steps there. The pain beats still but hurts less.
The end. That was it.
I'm good, Anna...I'm good now.

Well just based on the news I think the February lim slot has to be a unit event unless they don't care about finishing the rotation before 3.5. January lim could go either way, but because of WxS World Link, that only leaves January lim, February slots 1 and 2, February lim, and March slot 2
Haruka is guaranteed to be one of the perm February slots. Honami could either be January lim or February 1. I think Ena is more likely to be the February lim than Toya is, especially given how the MV types line up. I mean they could do three 3DMV unit events in a row (with a mixed event in there somewhere) since the last 3DMV would end up in March if they do that, but it feels a little more likely they'd do the double 3DMV events and then the next 2DMV. Ena also hasn't had a lim banner with her as the focus (all of her unit events and both of her mixed events have been perms)
I don't know. WxS World Link kinda messes everything up, and the lim schedule is a mess
okay so first off after the stream it occurred to me that i did a big stupid and Honami 4 cannot be the lim banner this month. Lol. Because that would've required them to announce 3 event songs this wandasho channel.
So Toya4 is Toya/Kohane/An lims end of february. Calling it now. Ena I have my doubts about because you could do Ena/Mafuyu/Kaito because both girls are desperate for lims and n25 kaito will be the next vsinger lim, but considering Mizuki has never been rateup on an Ena unit event and also has the most lims in the game right now, I think a Ena/Mizuki rateup for ena4 is most likely.
I will admit I'm still very stuck on things. At the very least it's pretty much confirmed that Hona4 is slot 1 and Haruka4 is slot 2 for february.
Given Emu skipping the rateup she should've had on the current event i'd say she's most likely to be the lim event (plus i think it's too close to akito's last lim when lots of characters have gone nearly a year w/o, and kanade is capped on 4* cards rn). If we look at the characters who need a lim within the next 4 lim events, we have Toya, An, Ena, Mafuyu, Honami, and Emu. Emu already has been featured on mixed events with Ena, Honami and Toya, and we can rule out An based on the likeliness of Toya4 being lim. Emu/Mafuyu works, since they have an established connection, and n25 kaito should be the next vsinger lim and he works with mafuyu.
Also I've seen multiple JP specs that Akito will be the 3.5 event, which makes a lot of sense now that i think about it. it's either kanade, emu, or akito, and miku usually has a 4* on the .5 events. out of those characters, two of them already have a lim miku for their unit. so you could do something like, akito/miku and then maybe ena? i know she was lim on last year's .5 event but there's that 12 month limit thing that's been pretty consistent. plus, pre-established connection. honestly you could probably put Honami on there too because she has a connection to Ena.
then kanade perm mixed after 3.5 god knows who the cards would be on that.
it's patchy, but here's a visual demo of what i'm thinking rn. with this i'm also assuming Ichika/Saki 3.5 fes and Tsukasa/Emu summer fes. mainly based on the fact the WL gacha will end only 8 days before 3.5 (minori and shiho could get away with it because they at least had two weeks between cards). also saki will need a lim more than emu by that point under the assumption that next event is emu.
