I started this book thinking I would hate it more than anything. . . I was wrong.

Nikki Haley has officially joined the list of women I aspire to be like, and “With All Due Respect” is on my list of all-time favorite (most soul touching/life changing) books.

This is the kind of book that pulls you out of your little world and makes your problems seem smaller than you’d built them up to be. It sheds an important and empowering light on the current racial divide in America, presenting readers with important opportunities to shed the victim mentality that so often condemns us to repeating the past. The stories she tells are beyond touching. They brought me to tears several times.

While I am not one to have any opinion on American politics, I think this book is well written, and would recommend it to almost anyone.
