sorry random thought. but i just remembered grading exams as a TA last year and the professor said “oh dont worry about the multiple choice i have my kids grade those” and i was like that is the strangest thing ive ever heard this is an advanced biochemistry course and shes having her 7 year old daughter help grade. so i mentioned this to my parents as a funny anecdote and they were confused by my surprise….having forgotten that my grandparents were all teachers. they were both like “oh yea i helped my parents with grading all the time, my older siblings did the multiple choice and i did the true/false.” so apparently teachers using their children as junior grading TAs is normal across generations.

Lotr movie fans are always like oh you like that actor? Well this is the town he was born in and his age did you know there's a deleted scene where he lifts a horse above his head with one hand and also he defeated the director in hand-to-hand combat and it really makes me understand how I come across when I'm talking about something that's far less of a masterpiece than the lotr movies

I almost cried in public transport again but i was so brave ab it but then i remembered that it wouldn't be the first time and that last time it happened i was actually like. Full on sobbing in that bus. And i'll be so real the embarrassment of remembering that did more to make me want to cry than the actual reason

Wow I have not.been making text posts. Uhmmmm OK 3 personal anecdotes from the past 2 days aka the interesting things that have happened to me:

1. So yesterday I woke up at like 2 am from what I Thought was a dream with my heart fucking RACING. Bc in What I Thought Was My Dream there was a very, VERY loud noise and it scared the shit out of me. Nothing else happened, I calmed down, went back to sleep. But in the morning, I went to the bathroom and found. . what do you know.. the big cat carrier on the floor. Which means one of my cats (*cough* tally *cough*) knocked it down from storage, which would've made a HUGE noise, so I connected the dots. Then she pooped on the floor about it and got it on herself. Stinky girl.

2. Cut my finger on a scale 😔 and it's uh actually kind of deep? Doesn't rly hurt much but that's also not a great thing for deep cuts. Oh well.

3. In the night it was raining and I got up and heard water and had a moment of ".....that IS rain, right?" What a life I live where I hear falling water and am unsure of whether it is rain or if my ceiling is actively leaking for what would be the Fourth Time...

I don't really get angry. I think I remember reading it is a secondary emotion so there has to be another emotion first in order to feel angry but !!! It happens very rarely. I'm a very chill person. I mostly just get sad about things, not angry lol.

AND OH YOU WANT SPOOKY??? I actually have had my fair share of spooky experiences so let's go with one of the worst ones. From when I was still living in my hometown, with my fam.

I'd share my bedroom with my grandma (seriously, who came up with that, I was a teen, worst idea ever but nvm) and the bathroom door was directly opposite my door. I remember one night I woke up since I had heard something in the bathroom. I thought maybe it could be my grandma who needed something, but when I woke up she was still sleeping in her bed. I was sorta asleep, but I got up from the bed and I made my way into the bathroom. Cos I was hearing someone crying, you know. I was worried it could be my lil bro or even my mom now, the poor thing. Well, the door was ajar, the light inside was on, I was about to step into the bathroom and then I realised... Damn, that didn't sound like anyone in my family. It sounded like someone young, you know? And definitely not like my lil bro. In that moment I said 'fuck it', just walked backwards back to my bedroom and just went back to bed while hearing whatever that was that was still crying :)

I did check the next morning with my family and yeah, no one had gotten up in the middle of the night.
