my interest in @somerandomdudelmao's Marble Sky series has been solidified because now I've found characters to latch onto. they. oh my goodness. they appear in a total of 5 panels and i am already willing to die for them. anyways

Is it just me or does ain look SUSPICIOUSLY like alkes & alnair?

I find it interesting that right as it's revealed that Marmors eat other sentient life, we're presented with a disabled Marmor, thereby implying to the audience that they don't practice eugenics.

Then with Oscar, (as well as in a text posted by you mentioning that the blind Marmor has a service animal), it is revealed that the domestication and utilization of non-Marmor creatures isn’t too uncommon, as Ecliptica immediately accommodates Oscar (actings as her hunt dog) with another, larger animal. The practice of having pets is also implied as non unheard of through Ecliptica's passing mention that the large animal enjoys chin scritches.

Ultimately, it all doubles down on the idea presented by the blind alien that yes, humans (Americans?) and Marmors do have the same values, this is all the same sort of thing the humans would be doing if they found life they deemed of lower cognition, it's just that the tables have turned.

Tldr: We're watching from the perspective of sport hunters.

(Note: All of the small Marmors have alliterative “A” names, is it a generational thing?)

No, they're not American. I don't think America or any other real world countries exist in this comic. While Oscar and Ward were on Earth, they lived in a fictionalized version of Equestria or the Fire Nation or whatever. East hemisphere union or something lol

Alkes and Alnair (the twins) actually not much older than Alkor. They grow pretty fast:D
