My tribute art piece to the Good Doctors of Canada. Their are many of them and they are all unique and diverse. They repair the oddities of this world and I love them. Without them Canada would not be Canada. God watches over them and in return they help God repair the different cultures that live in Canada. Feathers, Bat wings, scales, and claws they have seen it all.

Here's one fans of aliens and insects alike will appreciate: it's the (tragically unused) animatronic Edgar bug from Men In Black! Built by Rick Baker and his team, this 12-foot-tall space roach was intended for use in the climactic final battle, which originally contained a lengthy conversation between Edgar and the agents before any action happened. The animatronic ended up unused, and Edgar was switched to a CGI rig instead, purportedly because they didn't find the animatronic expressive enough facially.

While Edgar is wonderful in any case, it's a shame this beauty didn't take to the big screen like it was meant to; I adore the cobra-like hood especially. Funnily enough, the tie-in action figure for Edgar was modeled after this design as well.

I love the way humans flirt. It's so inconsistent and unintelligible, even to other humans, so aliens trying to decipher our subtle voice changes and weird fake sentences that we say instead of what we actually mean will always be peak interspecies writing.

Just imagine the most stressed aliens ever, overanalyzing everything their human crewmates do and trying to cross-reference with other known human behavior because what do you mean closing one eye at someone means romantic interest (but only sometimes)?? What do you MEAN some humans just say "I love you!" and don't mean anything by it?!

Introducing Sterling Wasps, native hymenopterans of the Glass Sea Bed:

These wasps are variable in color, exoskeletons shifting from an obsidian black to a gleaming silvery sheen under direct sunlight.

Their unique physical make up serves as a way to reduce and reflect heat and harmful radiation while active during the day.

Sterling Wasp Colonies form deep burrows beneath the sand; Their caves often take on a crystalline form or patterning along the walls and ceilings

They are fast. Rivaling jet speeds, their wing beats carry them far across the scorching sandy surface to limit their time above ground. (Spectators observe Wasp activity as a glittering from a distance matching that of the sparkling sand.)
