Alicent is so real

When cunty characters show up on our screens, they're generally cool and collected, with a mostly uninterrupted essence of undiluted sleekness to them.

Not Ali.

She's an NC, which stands for Neurotic Cunty. Yes, she kept having panic attacks and palpitations all night so she couldn't sleep, but that won't stop her from reading a trying bitch to filth on the spot without breaking a sweat the next day, and looking flawless while doing it. As a gay NC, her giving us this representation, plus MLM-WLW hostility representation with Laenor and the classic undying love and loyalty for your first gay crush no matter what... I feel seen, heard and transcendent.

HOTD never should have been adapted into a TV series if it refused to stay consistent with the official source material and infantize mass murderers. It was a mistake, a sad waste of time and never should have existed. Season 2 takes what's good about Season 1 and just...insults it to heck. My favorite relationship in the entire show(Daemyra) was treated like an afterthought after being so centralized last season. Too much team green bullshit that goes nowhere this season and way too many plot holes to excuse. Can we please trend the tag "Ryan Condal is a terrible writer" he's awful(no hate to the person, his writing sucks🙏🏻)

Alicent sucks and the show made her insufferable. It's fine if you like her(I really don't care) but don't pretend she's this harmless sweet delicate flower that did no wrong and was dealt with a bad hand. I'm sorry honey but the "Otto is a Bad Parent" excuse isn't going to make me like her any better. She's held responsible for own fuck ups.

I'm not allowed to like the idea of Aegon or ship him with Lucerys(I do what I want bro 🤷🏻‍♂️). I know he's a genuinely bad character and did some messed up stuff but he's genuinely the only complex and interesting character in team Green. Aemond for me anyway was carried by his interactions with Lucerys and Helaena. You all know how that turned out! Aegon I can appreciate him in how people appreciate Joker. Not liking the shit he says and does but be invested regardless. Plus fanfics on AO3 and NET treat him way better than the writers.
