Perry Movie Reviews: J4stringthang: OK Timberlake fans and haters alike, Calm Down! Largely regarded as “you know, that movie with Timberlake in it.” Alpha Dog was enjoyable. And Timberlake did a great job. He is definitely all grown up now. A strong supporting cast of Sharon Stone and Bruce Willis sure didn’t hurt. I loved how the cast worked so good together. They were very believable. The movie did a great job of showing us just how crazy and out of control a simple misunderstanding can get. Hopeful Hollywood does force Ben Foster down our throat! Small doses please! NOTE: Alpha Dog has a lot of language in it. DoryDarko: Going into this film, I had no idea what it was about, only that it was based on a true story. And the more I think about this fact, the truth behind it all, the more it saddens me. The story that unfolded before my eyes...

I have so many things to say about this movie. Not only are some of the people acting in it a.) pretty famous, b.) VERY famous Disney child actors, or c.) related to a very famous Disney child actor. Does that make it a good movie? No. It’s about a group of friends who stop off at a scary amusement park ride that is prepping to reopen, and they all die inside. It had potential to be amazing, and it sucked instead. A girl gets her head sliced off while giving one of the guys a blowjob in the basement. THE BASEMENT OF THE RIDE? Anyway, the guy picks her head up because he’s trying to kiss her, and it shows her head leaving her body. Spinal cord, neck guts, and all. The gore is pretty mid-level, where it’s getting a little gross, but isn’t too horrific. That was the only high point. They did not go super low budget on the death scenes.

Rating: D. They had so much to work with........ And yet.
