So just a little source check about the quote from Karen Purvis, about 400 repetitions vs. 12. I did some digging and apparently this was said by Dr. Karen Purvis but according to the Karen Purvis Institute of Child Development she became gravely ill shortly after this statement and died before she could give a reference for that information. Also, there was no research or studies that were published or released posthumously from Dr. Purvis. Based on that, my guess is that its misinformation. However it has been confirmed that it was really said by her. You can find similar wording in her speech here around the 0:46:00 mark.

I don't know if y'all care much about this but I'd had it as a mental task for like a month because I found it interesting so I thought I'd share.

I cannot believe there's absolutely no way to watch free shows and movies anymore, there are too many paid streaming platforms and pirating websites have viruses and ads preventing you from watching it uninterrupted((.)) click away because I’d rather follow the rules and purchase media moving forward because it is too inconvenient. I mean, yeah I agree. But what the hell is up with these colors??

like its supposed to be I think some kind of pastel rainbow but it's not even the right amount of colors. Or in the right order. Like we start off with this blue gray?? then like??? gray purple?? then pastel green, (ugly) yellow, red, then pink. then it confuses me again with these ugly colors.

The thing is that its not even a pattern because the shades of gray-purples are all completely different. Nothing even close to consistency here. I also suspect the spacing between each color are different as well but I'm not sure. This is the ugliest rainbow print I've ever seen.

Favorite Color: My favorite color is purple, just like classic dark purple (not too red tho, more on the blue scale).

Last Song I Listened To: Eat Your Young by Hozier. I'm seeing him in concert some time this month so I've been playing a lot of Hozier.

Currently Reading: Nothing actually. I just finished reading Audition by Ryu Murakami because it was short and on my list. I watched the movie the day before yesterday right after finishing the book and I wasn't too fond of it unfortunately.

Savory / Sweet / Spicy: Savory, then spicy then sweet. But sweet and spicy together supercedes savory alone.

Currently Craving: Pickles. I have a friend who recently got diagnosed with POTS and now they've been eating a lot of pickles and reviewing their quality to me.

Coffee or Tea: Tea. I drank orange ginger mint tea last night and it was divine.

Currently Craving: Belonging, as an adult in a family unit.

Coffee or Tea: Neither regularly, but coffee black when I know I'll need it. I prefer Colombian. When I'm sick, I drink Echinacea tea, and add natural honey. I habitually drop an original flavor Ricola in and let it dissolve completely in the honey-water before the teabag/diffuser goes in.

personally, I want Buck's best friend to be supportive of his new relationship, and be as excited as Buck is for this new revelation and this new level of self awareness. because Buck and Eddie are best friends before they're anything else, and I think they need to show more of that before they add another point of drama to their dynamic.

Buck and Eddie are incredibly close. having two jealousy episodes back to back like that would muddy that. their relationship isn't built on jealousy and drama. it's built on trust. we just saw some jealousy, and it didn't even get fully resolved in the episode.

they need to come back from that and show how strong their relationship is again before they even consider putting any more drama on their plates.

and besides that, Buck's first same-sex relationship shouldn't be disregarded or ignored. it should be special. Buck and Tommy need to have a relationship before something can come in the middle of it. and, frankly, it would be a disservice to all three characters if this extremely important moment in Buck's life wasn't celebrated by his friends, if someone as important to him as Eddie was sour about this thing that he's excited for.

Buck's first experience with "another dude" should be a positive one. not one that makes his best friend act weird around him. mutual celebration of this moment will bring them closer together. jealousy will create distance. and then that's more that they'll have to overcome to solidify their friendship before they can venture toward anything romantic.
