"Alex, I need to piss dude."

You and Alex have been out in the woods since about 10 AM, working on his student film Marble Hornets. It's now 2:30, and you've had to pee for the last hour or so. And you’ve been complaining about it for that long, too, but Alex is getting increasingly annoyed.

“Then go behind a tree or something, we're in the woods,” Alex says, rolling his eyes as his warm breath turns into fog around his face. He holds his camera up to a dead tree, for some reason. He's responded this way for the past hour, disregarding your basic human need to pee. He couldn't care less if you end up wetting your pants. In fact, it might even serve as a 'I told you so' moment. That’s what he tells himself. Though, secretly, he has a different, less passive-aggressive motive behind wanting you to lose control.

“No! I’m telling you, that’s weird! What if a bird or a squirrel sees my dick or something.” Alex just rolls his eyes, completely choosing to ignore your genuine concerns of indecent forest exposure other than letting out an indignant sigh. You huff, kicking a tree stump only a few feet away from the tree Alex was focused on. Really, he could care less about whether you pissed your pants or not. He might even like it, it could be a good ‘I told you so’ moment. That’s what he told himself, anyway. In reality he’d like you pissing your pants for a very different, significantly less passive aggressive reason. 

As the next twenty minutes tick by, Alex is reaching his breaking point of annoyance, while you're bursting at the seams with urine. Shifting your weight back and forth, you continue 'whining', as Alex puts it, about needing to pee. Your absolute refusal to pee in the woods, while logical to you, is making Alex's filming process harder. So, it's either shut up and pee in the woods or shut up and wet your pants. Unfortunately for Alex, you're not complying with either of those options. You’re so uncomfortable; the pressure in your bladder is borderline unbearable.

“Dude, you're being really stupid right now,” Alex says, his back turned to you before he turns around, looking at the screen of his camera and periodically glancing up at you. “I mean, you seriously can’t be that against— did you just piss yourself?” Alex looks down to the very obvious. and, a decently large soaking wet spot in your pants. Your face is flushed a bright red as you look down to your pants, then moving your gaze down to stare aggressively at dead leaves. You’re completely over loaded with embarrassment, focusing on the nearest possible escape plan even though Alex had driven the both of you here. You hear Alex’s mildly sadistic cackling. What a supportive friend. “Dude! That’s really fucking embarrassing for you!” Alex nudges you a bit, taking time to catch his breath. “C’mon, look at me. That’s honestly really pathetic.” This is the part where you remember how much of a dick your friend is.

And even worse than the embarrassment is the way your body reacts to it.

You immediately cover your face with your hands, feeling the heat radiating off your bright red cheeks as Alex picks back up his howling laughter. “No, just— just shut the fuck up right now.”

“No way! You seriously got a boner over pissing yourself in front of me?”  Alex laughs harder, doubling over slightly as he does so. As Alex's cackling dies down, he collects himself and places his camera down on the tree stump. “Okay, okay we'll talk about that in a second, but don't you have a change of clothes in my car?” Alex speaks a little more genuine, but his voice stays laced with condescension. You shake your head in response to his question, cursing yourself for trying to save space in your bag.

Alex lets out a huff, pausing for a moment before clearing his throat. “Well, you probably don't wanna stay in those pants, y'know. It's gonna get cold soon and wet clothes are worse than none.” Alex tries to disguise his attempt at seeing you half naked and humiliated with half hearted concern. You saw what he was trying to do, but he was right. Any breeze that passed was absolutely freezing. So, with shaky hands(partially due to the cold, and partially due to your body radiating with embarrassment), and multiple thoughts telling you it was a bad idea to strip from the waist down in front of your friend, you unbutton your jeans and make very slow work of pulling them down. All the while, Alex is looking down at you with a strange amount of amusement on his face.

After a fair amount of time spent struggling to get your pants off over your shoes, you reluctantly look up at Alex. He takes a moment to adjust his gaze away from your crotch, only bringing more awareness to the fact you're sporting a hard-on in wet underwear. The look he gives you alone is enough to tell you to ditch those too, and so with a sigh, you do so. Now standing in the middle of the woods, half naked in front of one of your best friends, you begin to question just what led you here.

A train of thought that is, of course, quickly interrupted by Alex's horny gawking.

“You're really just on full display now, aren't you?” He takes a step closer, pushing up his glasses. He hooks an arm around your waist, pulling you way too close to him considering the situation. He's very liberal with his free hand as he continues to talk, ignoring how rigid your body gets at the sudden contact. “It's… not that big.” He takes the opportunity to grab your dick in his hand, only wrapping a few of his fingers around to further emphasize his point. The redness in your face deepens as you shudder. You'd look away if you hadn't already been aggressively avoiding looking at Alex the entire interaction.

Alex begins to move his hand, going all the way up your shaft and back down, moving devastatingly slow. He couldn't help but lean in to kiss you, and you would've pulled away, you really would've but, he was just so intense, it'd be a sin to pull away. Unless, of course, it was for Alex to talk more. “You're such a fucking loser you know that? Getting a boner all because you pissed yourself? Or was it ‘cause you pissed yourself in front of me?” Alex doesn't give you a chance to respond before he pulls you even closer and kisses you again. He speeds up his hand, sufficiently getting you to moan into the kiss, and he takes that chance to force his tongue into your mouth. Alex places a firm grip on the back of your neck, kissing you roughly as his other hand returns to the slow, steady pace he had set before. You throw your arms around Alex’s neck, getting weirdly into the situation you have yourself in. 

Alex only lasts a few minutes like that before he flips you around, pushing you against the closest tree and pulling your hips against his, forcing you to bend over. He reaches a hand around, shoving two of his fingers into your mouth. He presses down on your tongue, keeping his fingers in your mouth for a few more seconds before taking them out ever so slowly. He puts his free hand on your hip, fingertips digging harshly into the flesh. His other hand finds your entrance, wet fingers pressing into you, pulling an extended whine from your throat. You hear Alex undoing his belt as he works you open, followed by a long sigh as he removes his fingers from your hole and replaces them with the tip of his cock. Are you adequately prepped? Probably not, but at least he had the decency to try.

You aren’t sure how long Alex has been inside of you at this point, but his pace has become unbearably fast, and his thrusts are so hard they’re shaking the few remaining leaves off the dead tree he has you positioned against. Each moan you release is laced with quiver as you make an attempt to tell Alex how close you are, but he seems to catch on. He reaches a hand around to hook his fingers into your mouth, making it impossible for you to form any words at all as he growls.

Alex hissed, sucking in a long breath through his teeth as he bottoms out inside of you. He barely gives you any time at all to adjust as he starts rough right off the bat. The side of your face presses against the tree with every one of his thrusts, and there's drool dripping down your chin from both your inability to close your mouth properly at the moment, and because of just how good he feels inside of you.

  Alex who used to be your college buddy. You would catch up with each other pretty often while talking about your respective projects. You actually grew to enjoy his company, hearing about his ambitions for his movie.

  But then one day he just... Disappears. You don't even hear of where he could have possibly gone. For as sad as you felt, you also assumed he just moved on. Maybe he thought you weren’t that close of friends and, either way, it's not that uncommon for someone to suddenly realise that their chosen path during college no longer works for them.

  And then, years later, with no warning; he shows up at your door.

  You were hoping to catch up with an old friend, relieved that he seemed to be okay after so long. Perhaps even a bit too relieved, as you didn't even question how he knew where to find you. But your enthusiasm was not unfounded, as it seems that a lot of people who you knew from back then had just simply vanished or moved on without as much as saying a word. You were craving a familiar face.

  But instead, he starts giving you vague warnings and insists on telling you strange stories. You always knew he had a bit of a flair for theatrics and a certain brand of "insightfulness" he liked to share, quirks of him being a film student, you always joked. But he was acting strange.

  He starts showing up more than he should. Knocking at your door during late hours of the night, insisting that you were in danger, growing irritable when you refused to listen to his unsettling rants.

  You start to feel sick. And you swear that whenever he's with you, it worsens. A particular bad incident was when a coughing fit left you on the ground, spitting out blood, while Alex did nothing but observe you as it happened. Only after you were done that he crouched to your level, an unreadable expression as he rested his hand on your back. 

  You actively start to avoid him after that.

  But he doesn't let up, somehow always finding you wherever you went, even after you left home and started spending nights at random places.

  "You're not hard to track down." He tells you. "It's like you're not even trying." It almost feels like mocking, but his tone sounds so dull, bordering on uninterested. His eyes tell you a different story though, the way looks at you.

  Eventually, you think you lose him. Days go by, you're far from home, and you haven't seen or heard from him since. You almost let yourself believe it's over.

  But then you receive a small, strange package at the doorstep of the place you're currently staying, containing only a single video tape. You immediately assume it's from Alex, due to him being weirdly obsessed with recording things ever since working on that film of his, and also because that entire situation with him still being very fresh on your mind. Who else would it be from?

  Curiosity takes over, you watch it. And it wasn't from Alex, you quickly realise. The tape showed a clearly candid recording of you and him talking. More specifically, from the last conversation you had with him before you finally managed to get him off your tracks. Both of you were completely unaware of what was happening. The recording abruptly cuts, only to show a message written over a picture of someone standing outside one of the windows of your house, taken yet again from a candid angle.

  "Careful of who you let inside."

  Ever since this, you became acutely aware of how that feeling of being watched wasn't even just from Alex, someone else had been following you around. Recording you, knowing where you lived and where you went. You could be in danger.

  Alex was right.

  You try your best to ignore it, desperate to delude yourself into believing that maybe Alex just has a weird vendetta against you and all of this is his doing. You throw the tape away and move places yet again in the middle of the night, hoping that this time you were truly alone.

  It's when you start seeing it from a distance everywhere you went that you start to feel like you’re losing it. More than you already were beforehand, at least. You swear that someone is following you around, someone who you're pretty sure isn't Alex, and it starts to become impossible to feign indifference any longer.

  You had to confront Alex. He knew something was going on and now more than anything rational, you wanted answers.

  When you call him in a panic, he responds with an eerie calmness. Like none of this was fazing him, instead like he expected you to call him. He tells you that you can come back to him, that he can help you, that he can keep that freak in the mask away from you.

  You hadn't told him yet. About the person you had seen multiple times far away but always in your vicinity, always wearing the same stark yellow hoodie and with a strangely obstructed face. You hadn't told him. So how? How did he know?

  He tells you to come back to your house. And feeling completely lost, you do.

  When you get there, he welcomes you with an uncharacteristic warmth. But it's weirdly tainted by his rather smug tone, the attitude of someone who thinks himself in control of the situation. Of course you would come back to him.

  He advises you to stay and to let him stay inside as well. And you do, once again desperate for some sort of familiarity and safety.

  Later that night, you awake to the sound of a gunshot.

  There's a high pitch sound like it was trying to deafen you, one that your brain was screaming that it couldn't have come from whatever firearm you just heard. You don't even have time to grasp at the nature of the T h i n g standing at the end of the corridor when you scrambled to leave your room, no more than you could focus on the fact that Alex was currently in a violent struggle against... A person in a yellow hoodie...? The one who's been following you around. 

  Alex's assailant snaps his head to look in your direction, finally giving you a close up look at the strange mask that has been haunting you for months now.

  Before you even get to fully process the scene in front of you, he lets go of Alex, but not before leaving him wrenching in pain and kicking away the gun from his reach, and directs his full attention to you. Alex yells out to you and you hear a ragged voice come from under the mask at the same time, echoing each other.

  Run.

  He grabs you by the arm and starts to run out of the house with you in tow, you being too scared and desperate to leave this place to even fight him off. You did not want to stick around Alex or whatever else was now inhabiting your home.

  Luckily, or maybe not so much considering everything up until this point, where you live is very close to a forested area. And of course your "saviour" wastes no time in getting you both as lost as possible in the middle of the woods, as far away from Alex as possible, who was still screaming out your name.

  He manages to get you pretty deep into the woods before you finally snap out of it, realising that letting this guy guide you any further into... Wherever he's going will end just as badly as what was happening back there.

  But your sudden urge to split from him only resulted in yet another physical struggle, him seemingly unwilling to just let you go. You could barely even see in the dark just illuminated by moonlight, but it didn't take a clear line of sight to recognize the sound of a switch blade or to feel the cold steel of it resting near your neck. Everything abruptly stops, an uncomfortable moment of silence stretching for what felt like far too long.

  You break the silence, shakily asking him who even is he? And does he want, what has he wanted all this time he's been following you?

  And he laughs.

  When you hear it, it finally hits you. A feeling of realisation and nostalgia engulfs you and you're left speechless. When he lifts his mask just enough to see his uneven smile, your stomach drops. 

  You really know how to choose your friends, don't you? Even your old buddy, you'd assumed to be long gone and who's now threatening you with a knife isn't even the worst choice. Might as well stick with him over that lunatic with a gun, right?

  Not like you have much of a choice.

This is Bad For Both of Us (Alex Kralie x Male Reader Angst)

WARNING: almost loss of consciousness, mentions of self-harm, grown man cries not clickbait??

You're sitting in your office looking over footage from however long ago, staring at the slightly pixelated version of yourself on the screen the entire time. What's changed since then? Why does it feel like you're staring at a stranger when you look at the kid in the video? God, it had to have only been two or so years ago when it was filmed. 

While contemplating you miss the sound of the front door opening, and when you hear your office door open you don't even look behind you. You know it's Alex. He turns the light on—you've forgotten how long you've been sitting in the dark until then. You rub your eyes. You can't help but ache, and you're not exactly sure the last time you've eaten. “Knocking is a thing you know, right?” Your voice makes it clear how long you've gone without talking. It's strained and rough. You still don't look behind you, but you hear Alex shuffle closer.

“You're killing yourself, you know. You can't keep staying up for this long.” Alex sounds almost angry. He looks around your office, trying to find a clock, and all he finds is a calendar that's three months and several years behind. “It's been three days.”

“So? What do you care? Doesn't affect you at all.” Your words hurt Alex in a way complicated enough that he doesn't even want to think about it. It does affect him.

“You have no reason to be doing this, you know that.” You could say so much to him. You don't, but you want to. You want to tell him how terrible you feel. You want to tell him that you've wasted your life on everything but what you wanted to do with it—no, it was taken from you. You can't get that time back, but he doesn't care. He doesn't care at all, does he?

“You don't know what it's like. Sleep‘s a damn waste of time.” You spin in your chair just enough to face him, but you can't bring yourself to make eye contact fully. He looks so upset, but you can't tell what way it is. His hands are clenched at his sides. Why can't he get it through your head that this is bad for you? That you're hurting yourself.

“This hurts me too,” he's bordering on yelling now. Alex almost never raises his voice at you. Your head hurts so bad—so much worse than normal. You can't see straight. You aren't sure what to say to him. “What happens when you have an accident because of all this? What then?” You don't know how to tell him you don't care. You know he's talking, but you're not sure what he's saying anymore, but you know he's still talking. You wish he wasn't. You wish he could just go home and live his life and stop wasting his energy on trying to get you to care about your well-being when you've been trained out of it for years. 

You aren't sure when, but at some point, Alex had stopped talking. At some point, he just started crying silently and looking down at you with distorted vision cause of the tears sticking to his glasses. His hands are shaking. You wish he didn't care this much. You wish he wasn't hurting himself over you. You finally speak, and you're not sure it comes out right, but you say it anyway. 

“I just feel so empty Alex. I really am sorry.” You can't hear your own voice when you speak. You think Alex starts crying harder.
