Request: "Can I ask Alex Delarge, who has sincere feelings for the girl and begins to be jealous of her?"
Tumblr media
Okay, so Alex seems like someone who doesn't care about people or his lovers. And this is usually true, at least when feelings aren't involved. So like with his one night stands.
But when you're a couple (or he just has feelings for you but you prefer to don't give it a name) it's a completely different story. He becomes very possesive, as if he owned you (and to be honest, that's kinda how he feels).
Alex isn't even a bit self-conscious. He knows his worth (and overestimates it a bit) and he's sure he's the best man you could find in London. Handsome, smart, sophisticated...
But he still worries that feelings and desires make take away your better judgement and you will spend a night with someone not worth it.
He sends a deadly glares when you sit with his droogs and some of them (especially Georgie) act a little too friendly with you. He also has a talk with them when they are alone, and he explains in detail what will happen if one of them puts his hands on you.
But he still can't control what you do and whom you meet when he's not arouynd and that drives him crazy. Not that he worries all the time, he trusts you but if you start mentioning too often one of your friends or coworkers, he gets suspicious and asks for more details about this person and your feelings about them.
Despite his possesivenes, I don't see Alex as a yandere type, he wouldn't stalk you or lock you up, you don't have to worry about your safety (well... at least not more than you usually do with him).
Only if he sees someone openly flirting with you, Alex will later pay them a little visit.

A subjective collection of film score composers (2/4): Wendy Carlos, an electronic music pioneer in cinema
Less led by film preferences for this one - even though the first two have had a huge impact on my cinephilia, it is much more with a desire to highlight invisibilized minorities that I chose to present Wendy Carlos. Nevertheless, this choice was not made randomly. Actually, I think her little incursion into cinema is utterly interesting as it is entirely linked to the musical identity she was famous for. Because she was chosen for her music's uniqueness, her soundtracks are now cult.
Born Walter, Carlos was early in her life attracted to music and above all to crafting objects such as computers and other electronic devices. She studied physics and music at the universities of Brown and Columbia. Afterwards, she assisted Leonard Bernstein in 1965 and met Robert Moog in 1968, with whom she worked on the development of the modular synthesizer.
Released this same year, her debut album Switched-On Bach sold more than a million copies and became the second classical album to go platinum. She won several Grammys in 1970. It consisted of pieces of Johann Sebastian Bach played with a Moog synthesizer. This use of synthesizer can announce bands such as Electric Light Orchestra, which combined electronic and classical sounds.
Coming out in 1979, Wendy Carlos is one of the first public personalities to disclose her physical transition and to assume her transgender identity.
She started to composed for cinema with A Clockwork Orange, Anthony Burgess’ novel adaptation from 1971, directed by Stanley Kubrick. The film deals with Alex DeLarge, the leader of a gang who participates in “ultra” violent activities. During one of their operations, Alex is arrested and condemned to fourteen years in prison. Two years later, he volunteers for the experimentation of Ludovico technique, which consists in aversion therapy. The films of sex and violence he is forced to watch are accompanied by an electronic version of the 9th Symphony, by Alex’s favorite composer, Beethoven. His brutal revulsion confirms the effectiveness of the treatment.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
A Clockwork Orange, Stanley Kubrick (1971)
Of course, the well-known opening shot effectively sets the pace, as the camera does a reverse travelling, from the face of the protagonist staring at the audience to the whole extremely bizarre set up. And on the top of all, we experience an electronic version of Henry Purcell’s March for the Funeral of Queen Mary.
This work is fascinating in the sense that it is atemporal. Each piece of music identified as from the past is futurised by the synthesizer. The world depicted in the film is also in this breach. The way violence manifests seems unreal, as well as Alex’s destiny. Still, the whole scenery is really anchor in the known reality of the era. In between anticipation and satire, the film is crossed by Alex passion for classical music. That is why the fact that Alex is disgusted by the electronic version of Beethoven’s 9th Symphony seems to suggest it’s rather grotesque than avant-garde.
After that, she collaborated for a second time with Kubrick on Shining, which is also an adaptation; here from Stephen King’s horrific novel. Nevertheless, on the global soundtrack she proposed to the director, he only kept one score. Indeed, the film opens on Carlos’ memorable reinterpretation of Berlioz’s “Dies Irae” segment of his Fantastical Symphony. Actually, it seems to encapsulate the essence of the film: as the little car progresses through the Going-to-the-Sun Road, Montana, the music accompanied by some curious sounds foreshadows the haunting of the vast Overlook Hotel.
Nonetheless, their artistic disagreement put an end to their work together.

The Shining, Stanley Kubrick (1980)
Her last work was on Tron, directed by Steven Lisberg, produced by Walt Disney Company and released in 1982. Her composition for this one is really interesting: most of the film takes place in the ENCOM mainframe cyberspace, but some scenes are in a realistic setting. Therefore, the orchestration is differentiated, by the addition of the synthesizer for the virtual world. Indeed, she didn’t wanted to propose uniquely electronic music, which led to a collaboration of digital synthesizers with the London Philharmonic Orchestra. Thus, the music tend to calm the rather innovative aspect of the visual, creating the ideal balance for the audience.

Can I make a request for Alex Delarge? He sees Dim hug his s/o headcanons.
he’d go fucking batshit but he’d do the whole ‘i was calm on the outside but thinking all the time’ aka his blood’s fucking boiling bitch
so he’s just quietly seething
when he finally gets you on his own for 2 seconds he holds you by the neck, not enough to hurt you but tight enough to let you know he’s pissed
“and why, my darling, was thou hugging that bolschy bastard? hm? trying to get me all riled up & ready to give thou a good tolchock?”
he speaks quietly but his tone says it all and you don’t dare say a word. if you do, he’ll probably slap you in the face
defo goes off to have a ‘private govereet’ with dim.. but dim comes back with a black eye looking very sorry for himself
god i feel like this is so bad and short but thats what i could think of D: i know its super late too so im really sorry!! i hope u like it though <3

Post Reformed Alex HC’s
Alex DeLarge x reader
Warnings: talks about death, prison, reform, violence
Requested: by anon, hey heyyy could i maybe request some alex delarge headcanons where after he is reformed he’s afraid that his s/o will leave him and he thinks that they are afraid of him? if not it’s ok! :))
I don’t own these characters. They belong to author/director
Author’s Note: one day I will learn how to title these things smh. Also I kind of think this is what you wanted? If not I’m so sorry!
Tumblr media
-Alex was fine pretending he didn’t have feelings
-in fact, he preferred it
-he enjoyed the pretentious nature of him only showing off his giddy, horny or over all not caring emotions
-but he did really like you
-probably because you had been his friends for years and he wasn’t sure what he would do without you
-you even knew him through all of his nightly escapades
-you sometimes joined him, although only on occasion
-so when he was arrested you obvioulsy weren’t with him because if you had been you would have been arrested to
-you gave the other guys a good yelling at after which they took like champs
-then he was gone
-you couldn’t see him at all
-it was like he had just vanished out of thin air and was never in your life at all
-which he felt every piece of
-but he also knew you had fallen in love with him but the criminal version of him
-he was aching to do this whole reform thing but when he came out of the prison, he was no longer the criminal he had once been
-he was the opposite of that in fact
-he was a newly reformed man and he had lost all of his edge
-he couldn’t even have sex because the sight of a naked woman revolted him. He was wondering if the reform had even been worth it but it had happened and was past
-he came to you after his parents essentially kicked him out
-you thankfully had not seemed to have moved on
-you had changed, your job was different and you looked a tad bit older but not by much
-but you seemed to be alone and the same
-you were happy to see him and he was beyond happy to have a place to rest his head
-you let him stay and hesitantly asked him about his time inside and how he got out early
-he told you, also hesitantly
-you didn’t seem to mind but he was clearly worried that you would mind
-’as long as you got out’ was all you said
-and you didn’t want him to keep up with that crime stuff anyway so you were fine with it
-he was still Alex, after all
-he was sooo relieved
-someone cared about him enough to let him sleep in their house without being worried that he was going to kill them

📖 Jack Frusciante è uscito dal gruppo 🚲 commento 📖
⭐️
ISBN: 8880891901

Goth Devotchka
Enjoy some krov-plus, droogie During Little Miss Savage, Yulaan befriends some goths and alternative types. Through Gideon Crowley, she also discovers the murky, hazy world of 60s and 70s arthouse and grindhouse film. Yabans aren't satisfied by human storytelling. Yabans are a people who prefer and understand dynamic action and reaction as a constant, rather than rise-and-fall narrative, so human-made movies are frustrating to follow. Still, she does come to like plenty of them, and one in particular is A Clockwork Orange. When she decides to go out trolling the night with a couple of goth malcontents, Yulaan uses the opportunity to go out as a black-nadsat droogie. This is the basis of the short story, "Goth Devotchka," that takes place during the second season of LMS, It Came From Skinwalker Lodge. The only reason Yulaan drops the style is because she starts angsting about the fact that she could never actually be like Alex DeLarge. It's impossible for Yulaan or any Yaban to be a "clockwork orange" as it were. They'd be more like clockwork grenades. There's no point making a grenade out of clockwork gears because it's going to blow up anyway. Likewise, Yabans are specifically designed to be violent. Nexcidiousness is impulsive violence, after all. Think about it. Just think for a moment. Alex DeLarge is a man. A boy, really, but "man" is more important. A wayward boy was he who took to a life of criminality in a degenerated society. He could have been so different. He could have been nicer, or at the very least not an asocial psychopath. What's more, as a Man, he had the opportunity to choose against doing violent deeds. Anthony Burgess's point in the novella was that Man is an animal with free will. We're sculpted by our past, but we're not slaves to it. Doing good and doing evil should be your choice. As evil as Alex DeLarge was, it was still his choice to do evil. When the government stepped in to regulate his choice for him, he was no longer a Man but a Clockwork Orange, someone who seemed sweet and proper on the surface but was mechanical and soulless on the inside. He chose to do evil and certainly wasn't the good guy, but the State was the greater evil. This is why he was so extreme and callous and why A Clockwork Orange cannot be faithfully remade for modern times— Alex being as evil as you can get was entirely the point, and that final controversial chapter of the book completed the fable that free will was our greatest trait. Alex wasn't reformed, and he wasn't any less of a narcissistic psychopath, but he had decided to stop doing evil— he was cured of the State's control and acted upon his own free will, and that's what was important. He was an apple. A rotten apple. But no longer a clockwork orange. Yulaan literally cannot relate. Yabans don't have that choice. Even her cute little brother Yuta is damned to a life of violence by his genes, making the humans' fawning over him tragic. It's a similar dilemma J. R. R. Tolkien had with orcs, except in real life (in the Yabanverse at least). Tolkien's faith informed him that anyone sapient can be Saved, but orcs seemed to go against this completely as they were inherently evil and corrupted. Did they not have a choice? If Alex was a Tolkien orc rather than a Man, the book wouldn't have worked. Now of course, fantasy has expanded the role of orcs ever since. Some orcs are just as naturally evil as Tolkien's, while others are just misunderstood. Indeed, Vinter-kobolds of Planet Sarrat are basically orcs and they're definitely of the 'misunderstood savages' lot. Yabans are the "naturally evil" orcs. Nexcidium controls them to do evil. Even "good" Yabans are driven to fight and risk. If Alex was a Yaban, the book would have worked even less. Indeed, it would have had a much more horrifying end. If the totalitarian state tried to brainwash Yaban!Alex into becoming a clockwork orange, they'd have actually pulled the pin on their new clockwork grenade. Nexcidium will overpower you. A nexcidious crisis takes a few months to build up. Yabans who do not fight or destroy (whether in reality or virtually) will suffer a nexcidious crisis at some point, making a pacifistic lifestyle utterly impossible for them. And if the crisis comes without being rectified, it'll transform into a nexcidious breakdown, turning that Yaban into a feral no matter their sapience level beforehand. And when that happens... well, there's a reason they call Feral Yabans "explosions with tails." Explosions just destroy. Explosions kill and maim. They don't think or reason. They're simply destructive forces. Yaban!Alex would have suffered a nexcidious crisis and breakdown that would overpower the Ludovico Technique and everyone would pay for trying to tame a monster. This is why Yulaan finds it pointless to roleplay as a droog. She's just playing dress-up with the cool part and missing the whole point of the story. It feels inauthentic to her to dress like a nadsat brat when she doesn't have a choice in the matter. She has to engage in the old ultraviolence because it literally comes naturally to her. The only thing that's her choice is choosing how much she gives into the violence lust of nexcidium. "But you can still not be a bitch and just enjoy the cosplay," so says Gideon, who gets a cane smashing his balls as a response.

『 About Me 』
Hey there, welcome to my writing blog. I’m Caitlin. I’m 22, and a recent college graduate that writes fanfiction in my free time. I use they/them pronouns for the most part, but am totally okay if you sometimes use she/her. I’m multi-fandom, and my muses flop around frequently—so there’s a nice variety of content hopefully to please you! For the most part, I tend to write for classic cult cinema and television shows, and some for more rarer fandoms that do not get the love they deserve. My current high muses are the fandoms in which I am currently very interested in, or feel motivated to write for. If you want to request something, shoot me an ask! I cannot guarantee I'll write everything that comes my way, but I'll do my best. I often write based off of things that grab my interests.
『 Current High Muses 』
Twin Peaks, Re-Animator, Columbo, horror movies, and The Evil Dead Trilogy.
『 Personal Disclaimer 』
I unfortunately do have very crippling social anxiety (which has only been exacerbated by our current state of things), and often have a hard time interacting and talking to my followers. These feelings ebb and flow much like my muses, and I hope you understand why I might not respond to your messages right away, or drop off in a middle of a conversation. I appreciate each and every one of you so much, and truly love to read all your comments, notes, messages, and DMs!
I also have a job / personal life and might go on random hiatuses for a few days. If I take any longer of a break, I'll usually post something saying that I'll be gone for a bit. Again, the writing muse takes me or it doesn't sometimes, as we all know the evil of writer's block.
『 Navigation 』
Everything I have ever written can be found here in this masterlist! Click on the link to the fandom of your choosing in order to access that specific masterlist. If anything is off or links are not working, please do not hesitate to let me know! Thank you for your continued support, I hope you enjoy my works!
if you enjoy my works, you can support me on ko-fi! My work will always remain free, and Ko-FI tips are completely optional! It is just a little thing if you'd like to show your support, and it means a lot to me :)
『 Content Warnings / Rules 』
Smut is clearly labeled on the posts, and will be delegated also with the ⭑ emoji next to it . 18+ ONLY for those works. If you are a minor and I see you interacting with these posts, I will block you. This is not negotiable. Some dark content and sensitive subject matter can be found in some of the fics, as well as some of the characters I write for are...very unsavory characters. Read the warnings before each work on individual posts to be sure!
However, I will NOT write: self harm/su*ci*al behavior, rape, non-con, and/or sexual assault, incest, underaged characters, dd/lg (daddy kinks are okay) and fetish content that personally makes me uncomfortable. If you're not sure, you can always just send me an ask to see if I would write it. This is a judgement-free zone, but at the same time I do have my personal limits

Joker (2019)
On March 30, 1981, John Hinckley Jr. shot and nearly killed United States President Ronald Reagan, wounded a police officer and Secret Service agent, and permanently disabled Press Secretary James Brady (whose death in 2014 was ruled a homicide from the gunshot wound thirty-three years prior). Found not guilty due to insanity, Hinckley obsessed over Martin Scorsese’s Taxi Driver (1976) while planning his actions. Like Taxi Driver’s protagonist Travis Bickle, Hinckley plotted to assassinate a famous politician. Besotted with Jodie Foster (who starred in Taxi Driver) and disappointed by not attracting her attention after stalking her, Hinckley planned the assassination attempt to impress the actress.
Hinckley and Taxi Driver were both on my mind when watching Todd Phillips’ Joker. Not only do they share thematic connective tissue and similar color palettes, but both films have been plagued by discourse about whether they will inspire someone to commit horrific violence – I respect Taxi Driver as one of the best films released in the 1970s, but it is not something I could rewatch easily. Filmmakers, indeed, should have a sense of social responsibility in their creations. Joker, as a character study first and foremost, paints its politics in broad strokes – preferring to submerge, as character studies should, the audience into the mindset of its protagonist. Joker invites the audience to empathize with a tortured soul who, failed by the state and refusing to hold himself responsible for his worst actions, consciously moves beyond redemption. That point, where the Joker is beyond redemption, is found where Batman fans know him best: murdering only to see if that murder is funny. Whether he reaches that point within the bounds of this film is up for debate.
It is 1981 in Gotham City. The city belches with urban malaise. A garbage collectors’ strike roils the city; socioeconomic inequality is rife; “Super Rats” plague the streets; the municipal services are overwhelmed. Arthur Fleck (Joaquin Phoenix) is a clown-for-hire living and caring for his aging mother, Penny (Frances Conroy). Money is sparse and one of the few joys Arthur and Penny have is Murray Franklin’s (Robert De Niro in a role not far removed from his turn in 1983′s The King of Comedy) primetime talk show. Arthur suffers from random paroxysms of laughter (a real-life affliction known as emotional incontinence, among other names) that, at the very least, invites disdainful looks from strangers who then avoid him. Arthur is seeking help for his depression and other unspoken problems, but Gotham’s social services are soon defunded by the city government and various other events force him to his breaking point.
Also featured in this film are Arthur’s hallway neighbor Sophie (Zazie Beetz) and cameos from Thomas Wayne (Brett Cullen), a young Bruce Wayne (Dante Pereira-Olson), and Alfred Pennyworth (Douglas Hodge).
The film does not glorify any of its hideous violence, but those who are not critical consumers of media will interpret this film how they will. Nevertheless, Joker is less on the side of its protagonist than the likes of Alex DeLarge in A Clockwork Orange (1971) and will likely result in a similar reverence once this film has exited theaters. Within the film’s confines, there is nothing surprising about any of its violence; how the violence happens is shocking in its immediacy and realistic ferocity. It is contextualized as being the inevitable result of a sociopolitical system that cares not for the downtrodden, the mentally ill – to reiterate, Phillips is painting with broad political strokes. Arthur, who keeps on seeking professional help and ways to quell his silent rage, is attempting to stay his destructive behaviors long after his first homicide (as the film does not glorify violence, it also does not target those with mental illness; it directs its ire towards those without sympathy for the mentally ill). Those efforts are stymied by factors beyond his control – an almost-plot twist to shock even ardent Batman fans, the idolization of an unnamed clown who has executed three members or accomplices of Gotham’s elite.
It is here that Joker separates itself from the social cynicism and post-Vietnam War disillusionment and of Taxi Driver; it is here that Philipps’ film becomes just as much a reflection of the era it was released in and the nation of its origin as Scarface (1932 original with Paul Muni), Bonnie and Clyde (1967), and The Dark Knight (2008) once did. Those films respectively capitalized on fears of Italian and Irish mafias making urban centers their criminal playgrounds, countercultural diehards claiming free-wheeling Jazz Age outlaws as their own, and a vast surveillance state crafted to declare war on terrorism. For Joker, the societal diagnosis by Phillips and co-writer Scott Silver (2010′s The Fighter) is double-sided, damning those with and without power. The film decries individuals and groups who deify charismatic or compelling figures claiming their actions and/or rhetoric to be indicative of the common person’s interests. These revered figures incorporate grievance into their persona, weaponizing the language of victimhood not only to bring attention and (justifiably or unjustifiably) force change on a problem, but to absolve themselves of their personal sins. They are, dare it be written, populists. Beware those who invoke “the people” to vindicate their crusades.
Arthur Fleck, as an underemployed clown, does not ask for the attention of the masses. He wishes, “to bring laughter and joy to the world,” yet finds fulfillment in making a handful of children’s hospital patients smile. During Arthur’s first appearance as Joker, he assumes the accidental and public mantle that has set Gotham aflame – legitimizing the homicides he has committed and the public’s brutalization of authority figures by playing victim. He is consumed in self-pity; his words become a simplistic screed. Notice how appealing his words are, how rapidly rhetorical animosity precludes political violence. In Joker’s darkest sequence, the protagonist will destroy the last remnants of Arthur Fleck and become the popular icon of violent upheaval rarely seen in any of his depictions in DC Comics. This is Joker at its most dangerous, if only because of how violence – whether in oppression or in resistance – is as integral to the United States as political compromise.
We hear these beats of populism elsewhere, too, mixed with capitalist can-do. It is present in Thomas Wayne’s television appearance announcing his candidacy for Mayor of Gotham City – “I alone can fix it,” this man of wealth implies. This is a departure from otherwise sympathetic depictions of Bruce Wayne’s father over the decades in Batman comic books. As a plot development, it (along with the “almost-plot twist”) seems unnecessary if only to ground Joker in the Batman mythos. Contrast this to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, where ill-intentioned, humorless capitalists operating within the military-industrial complex are repelled by the wisecracking “good” capitalists within that same system (see: Tony Stark). Murray Franklin, as a talk show host, concocts a scheme to bolster his ratings by humiliating someone in a worse life station – no background checks needed, let alone any semblance of attempting to understand his subject. Thus, Gotham is subject to personality- and grievance-based politics wrung through the corporate avarice of Network (1976). Joker may not have to space to critique capitalism in its entirety – it is a character study, after all – but the entire apple barrel seems spoiled here.
The least controversial element of Joker is Joaquin Phoenix’s magnificent lead performance. Phoenix has made a living playing men whose lives contend with inner turmoil and unsympathetic worlds. His work in The Master (2012) remains has career-defining role, but as Arthur Fleck and as Joker – through the pained laughter spells, his bodily contortions with his ribcage jutting from his frame, and a brooding nature tempered by an initial gentleness – this will be the role that crosses artistic and popular boundaries that segregate filmmaking. Phoenix may now be defined by this role, as Cesar Romero (a solid contract actor for 20th Century Fox despite being typecast as a Latin lover) and the late Heath Ledger (whose work in The Dark Knight overshadows the rest of his filmography) have been.
Director Todd Phillips, best known for The Hangover series, does an excellent job making Gotham City a character. So often consigned to be the faceless and unfortunate city wracked by domestic terrorism from curiously-named villains, never in a film has Gotham seemed like a place with its own history and haunts. The scenes on mass transit alone sell the city. Phillips’ indulgence for slow-motion (with cinematographer Lawrence Sher’s fawning camerawork) during dance sequences and almost constant dollying can be irritating. One montage between Arthur Fleck and Sophie – specifically, when he enters her apartment, confirming how unreliable a narrator he is – displays a lack of trust in the audience to make their own inferences.
Icelandic cellist and composer Hildur Guðnadóttir has crafted a score for her second film for a major American studio. Guðnadóttir’s career has been defined by an unpleasant mix of bass strings, percussion, and synth, droning repetitively, lacking the emotional catharsis that the films she has worked on are striving for. Her work on Joker is an improvement, but this is as difficult a listen as Joker is to watch. The score is almost entirely texture, not melody – melody is for those older films with sugary sentiment and Hollywood endings that do not reflect life’s ugliness, we are increasingly told. Outside of those with an ear for experimental classical music or instrumental music that groans amelodic passages rather than combining lyrical voices, this music has almost no life outside of the movie. Finally, Guðnadóttir’s style fits the film she has scored for.
As a psychological character piece, the only way that Joker could have secured a wide theatrical release in 2019 would be to tie it to bankable comic book lore. Even as Phillips pitched the idea, Joker faced stiff resistance from Warner Bros. executives – including former chairman Kevin Tsujihara and Greg Silverman – who still had the 2012 massacre in Aurora, Colorado on their minds (that tragedy took place during a screening of The Dark Knight Rises). Warner Bros. noting how poorly Zack Snyder’s vision of DC Comics adaptations was faring, needed to extricate itself from Snyder’s adolescent approach.
In the months before Joker’s release and even within the film, Warner Bros. has embraced its past. Of all of Hollywood’s major studios, Warners always seems to be the most conscious and celebratory of its history*. During the 1930s, Warner Bros. became known for the darker content of its films (its rivals MGM, Paramount, and Fox preferred spectacle, maximizing production values, and prestige pictures). The studio became the spiritual home of the gangster film and hardboiled dramas that pushed the boundaries of violence in American cinema – but not for the sake of depicting violence. Even in their musicals (a genre stereotyped as pure escapism), Warner Bros. layered progressive social commentary amid economic depression. Joker – though its own commentary could be more focused and succinct – inherits the legacy of The Public Enemy (1931), I Am a Fugitive from a Chain Gang (1932), Gold Diggers of 1933 (1933), and its numerous Warner Bros. ancestors.
How curious that a drama with origins from superhero comic books has been little praised for not following the assembly line production methods of numerous films from similar source material. Cinephiles fret, correctly, that movie theaters are becoming a home to superheroes/villains and explicitly-for-children animated features to the exclusion of everything else. The mid-budget character piece is endangered; certain genres have vanished from theater marquees. Joker, to some consternation, has it both ways. It is an excellent, arguably irresponsible, work to be seen with wary eyes.
My rating: 8/10
^ Based on my personal imdb rating. My interpretation of that ratings system can be found here.
* Okay, okay you classic film buffs who have already recognized Joker’s references. Modern Times (1936) and Shall We Dance (1937) are from United Artists and RKO, respectively. But both films have long been part of Warners’ library by acquisition.

All the Halloween asks!
Oh Nonny, what have you done? 😘
🎃Pumpkin: What is your favorite season?
Autumn! Not too cold, and you get all of the lovely crispy leaves.
👻Ghost: Do you get scared easily?
Yes. Not so much watching tv, but in life...yeah.
🎃Candy Corn: What is your favorite kind of candy?
I’m more of a chocolate person, myself. I love Reeses Peanut Butter Cups, and anything chocolate orange.
👻Vampire: What is your favorite supernatural creature?
Hmmm...I’m fascinated by Banshees. But I think Vampires maybe? Proper ones, not sparkly ones.
🎃Witch: If you could have any superpower, what would it be?
Already answered, but telekinesis probably.
👻Trick or Treat: What was your favorite Halloween costume?
I dressed up as Alex DeLarge from A Clockwork Orange a few years ago. That was fun!
🎃Black Cat: Are you superstitious?
No, not really.
👻Ouija Board: If you could change your name, what would you change it to?
I like my name, since it’s so uncommon. My middle name is Charlotte though, so maybe I’d go for that if I had to.
🎃Graveyard: Do you know any good scary stories?
Yes. They’re called the Grimm Fairytales. That’s all you need, surely?
👻Skeleton: Have you ever broken a bone?
When I was ten I broke my wrist by jumping off of a swingset and landing on my arm.
🎃Werewolf: What is your favorite urban legend?
Ummmm...there was a good one about a guy who is driving and picks up a hitchhiker. He drives him into a tunnel and the hitchhiker vanishes. Turns out he had died in an accident decades earlier.
Also, there’s a whole thing about ‘The Red Barn Murder’ which happened  near to my town.
I think generally, I don’t know that many Urban legends, but I do like them when I hear about them.
👻Horror Flick: Do you like scary movies? If so, which one is your favorite?
Not really. I prefer creepy tv shows like American Horror Story because I get more attached to the story.
I like thrillers, and old school spooks like Fright Night (both versions), Psycho. Silence of the Lambs and Crimson Peak were pretty good though.
🎃Haunted House: Would you prefer to live in the city or the country?
City, but outskirts.
👻Zombie: Do you think that you could survive a zombie apocalypse?
No. I’d be dead pretty quickly. I’m small and vegetarian.
🎃Mummy: What is your biggest fear?
Superficially? Wasps. Deep deep fear, being abandoned by everyone.
👻Bat: Do you have any pets?
Yes, two cats 😺😺
🎃Cauldron: What kind of potion would you make if you had the opportunity?
A potion of instant inspiration for my writing.
👻Full Moon: Do you prefer nighttime or daytime?
Both have merits, but I reckon nighttime because it’s more acceptable to walk around in blankets.
🎃Corn Maze: What is your favorite autumn activity?
Does hot chocolate count as an activity?
If not, I like snuggling down with a not-very-spooky spooky movie, like Corpse Bride or Van Helsing.
👻Broomstick: What exciting places have you traveled to?
Canada and America! That was super cool. I loved Ottawa, it’s one of my favourite places now.
I hope that answers all of them for you. Happy Simblreen xx

6, 9, and 11 for Alex DeLarge?
Hugging headcanon
Alex does not do hugs. And don’t try to hug him either, unless you want a tolchock to the ribs.
General physical contact headcanon
Alex uses physical contact to dominate other people. He’llput a heavy hand on someone’s shoulder and squeeze it painfully, or throw hisarm tightly around any girl that’s reluctant to engage with him when he’s onthe town during the daytime.
Wardrobe headcanon
Alex dresses in bright, royal colors, preferring purple, green, and blue. The pretty polly he crasts tends to go to either records orclothes. No one would ever deny he’s a well-dressed hoodlum

A-Z NSFW With Alex DeLarge
Alex DeLarge x reader
Warnings: smut
Requested; by anon, Hi again! I would love to request some NSFW or a SFW alphabet for Alex DeLarge! I don’t know if you feel comfortable writing the NSFW one, but don’t worry! The SFW one is perfectly fine! Also, I wanted to ask if you know about the film Labyrinth and Hellboy! I think you would love the characters Jareth and Prince Nuada! And I would love to read your fanfic if you want to write about them. Love ya 💞💞
I don’t own these characters. They belong to author/director
Author’s Note: I hope this is satisfactory! And thank you so much for requesting stuff for Alex, I truly thought no one would want to read stuff for  him so this was an exciting moment
Tumblr media
A: Aftercare (What they’re like after sex)
Alex is kind of a douche bag but like if he likes you he’s quite kind about it. You can talk about things and he tells  you about movies he had recently viddied and it’s overall a nice experience. This is assuming its day sex because for some reason the idea of night sex with alex is weird to me
B: Body Part (Their favorite body part of theirs and also their partner’s)
He loves your hands. He holds your hands, he moves  your hands, he makes sure your hands are always on his chest to steady you or on his hips. Hands.
C: Cum (Anything to do with cum)
Alex doesn’t shy away from being messy with his cum. He likes to see it on you, like a on your stomach
D: Dirty Secret
While Alex was rather used to the violence in sex now he is much more inclined to the idea of having one person to hold which for him is the dirtiest secret of all
E: Experience (How experienced are they? Do they know what they’re doing?)
Alex is quite experienced. He didn’t shy away from sex when he was young and now he is used to what might please you and especially what he knows will please him.
F: Favorite Position
He likes being on top, missionary typically but he also varies because that man doesn’t know how to get used to things that aren’t violence
G: Goofy (Are they more serious in the moment, or are they humorous, etc.)
Alex is borderline hilarious and you aren’t sure if he means to be but he often is. Sometimes he makes you laugh without meaning to which is more likely than trying to make you laugh in the moment
H: Hair (How well-groomed are they, does the carpet match the drapes, etc.)
Grooming? He doesn’t know what that is. It’s just a bush that isn’t unlike his hair
I: Intimate (How are they during the moment, romantic aspect…)
Alex is stabby and slow and inconsistent and far from romantic. He’s so used to seperatign the person from the event he so rarely remembers that when you call out his name you’re talking to him
J: Jack Off (Masturbation headcanon)
I’m not even going to get started on this y’all know he’s ruthless with that hand
K: Kink (One or more of their kinks)
He likes pain. Not enough usually to leave signifant bruises but to watch you squirm and have a flashing moment of is this pain or pleasure really gets him going
L: Location (Favorite places to do the do)
A n y w h e r e
M: Motivation (What turns them on, gets them going)
Watching you lick things. A popsicle or your spoon or something. Literally he would die for you in like three seconds flat and have you in bed even sooner
N: No (Something they wouldn’t do, turn offs)
Boy hates age play. He thinks its weird. He isn’t sure what to make of it
O: Oral (Preference in giving or receiving, skill, etc.)
Receiving for sure. Your mouth around him is much more pleasurable than anything but also he is not bad at giving.
P: Pace (Are they fast and rough? Slow and sensual? etc.)
Unpaced if that makes sense. Like you have no idea what to expect from him most of the time
Q: Quickie (Their opinions on quickies rather than proper sex, how often, etc.)
Oh good God don’t even get him started on quickies. If he’s horny he’s horny that’s just that it isn’t like he’s going to ignore it
R: Risk (Are they game to experiment, do they take risks, etc.)
He’s pretty open to like, a lot of things. Like if you want to do something it almost makes him more excited because he’ll know you’ll be into it
S: Stamina (How many rounds can they go for, how long do they last, etc.)
Alex, ah Alex. The lightweight who acts like he isn’t if there ever was one
T: Toys (Do they own toys? Do they use them? On a partner or themselves?)
He doesn’t mind toys, he actually quite enjoys them. He likes to be more touchy about it usually but if it means you get to squirm a little bit more he’ll take it
U: Unfair (How much they like to tease)
Oh so much. Granted, he doesn’t usually last that long so he tries but it usually doesn’t work
V: Volume (How loud they are, what sounds they make)
He’s actually quite quiet when it comes down to it but when he’s cumming lots of people know it
W: Wild Card (Random headcanon)
He happens to enjoy ropes when he gets the chance to use them
X: X-Ray (Let’s see what’s going on in those pants)
(*me mentally trying so hard to remember from Clockwork*) Average. Nothing to big and nothing to small
Y: Yearning (How high is their sex drive?)
If sex drive was a man. It would be Alex.
Z: ZZZ (… how quickly they fall asleep afterwards)
If it’s night time then he can be out like a light if there is no need to be out later that night
