'it's been a long time, alec. hope you've been well.' fel speaks in a forced nicety, having never enjoyed spending a moment longer than needed with the older vampire. she steps inside and brushes by him altogether with more interest in setting down her scarce belongings. 'what's next? we have to share a room as a storm rolls through?' fel feigns a gasp, stage-whispering her mock surprise of 'there's only one bed?' all jokes aside, fel's laughter is only brief before she returns to her usual tone and waves a hand. 'i thought i heard a few whispers about a vampire that sounded like you in canada.' she half spins in place to look at him. 'i'm sure the weather matching your personality has something to do with it.' @dxrkenedheights

'i'm sure your heart bleeds.' fel notes, perching on the edge of her bed as alec continues to talk. the idea of having anything in common with the vampire makes her head tilt backwards in a laugh. 'separated and abandoning aren't quite the same thing, but if a bid for a connection is what you're looking for. i'm willing to throw you a bone.' she smirks even as her chest tightens with the ever growing fear of what's happening to her sisters. if they're together, being forced through the same pain she had to endure. and then her mind flicks again but to a tiny wolf, and the blink of fel's eyes is suddenly tighter and slower. 'i'm guessing whoever appointed you onto the council didn't realize your arrogance. things can change, alec. i wouldn't get too comfortable.' she tilts her head, wearing a charming smile that only lingers for a moment. 'yes, i'm aware of the rules. it won't be a problem, there won't be human men in this house for you to be jealous of.' she laughs again at the obvious deflection and throws herself to lay out straight across her bed, arm behind her heard as she stares at him without an initial reply. 'that wasn't really women's history, more women's philosophy. but be a darling, alec. get the light for me.' she juts her chin to the switch he's lingering near. 'and close the door on your way out.' a quick wink.

"That's rude, there's plenty of Vampires I've cared about that have been lost." Alec clutched his chest in an attempt to appear human for a moment, but the glisten of mischievousness remained on his grin. "You don't get to my age without there being a coven or two or twenty wiped out by some wolves." he added in a statement of fact, emotional response a far removed thing from the Zotov vampire. "And I had to leave my brother behind a few...what is it now? Coming up to a hundred years." he shrugged, pointing to Felicity then. "I guess we can relate to one another finally. We're both without our family." Alec's grin returned, watching the other vampire as she unpacked and whisked through her tiny bedroom. He waved a hand, as if humble and grateful all at once. "Oh no, no need for congratulations for the natural order of things. I just think it does vampires like you good, hm? To be reminded that there's a way things are done and it's not...your way." he pointed to the door of their home. "You were told about not bringing back humans here to feed, I hope? Which means your version of courting will be out of the equation." Alec chuckled, ever amused by himself more than others. "Felicity, let's save the women's history lessons for another day, hm? I've seen all of it, every turn of the century. We all know how it ends. Never well, considering you're still here with the same ol' picket signs and protests."

Okay, so I don’t watch Hazbin Hotel (if I wrote it wrong, sorry) but for like weeks, the only thing I see in the asexual tag is people complaining about allos shipping ace characters in a very allo way, and it’s been annoying me to no end, because while we do have to be upset about that, the ace tag should also function in a way for us to share jokes, have fun and enjoy our identity without having to fight for our right to exist.

So I propose we do something different. Let’s annoy the aphobes. I propose that from now on, every character becomes ace/aro/aroace. No more shipping fanfics, just platonic relationships and friendships. Every fanart is now SFW and has the ace/aro/aroace flags colors.
