started planning a red dead redemption 2 modern / college au with @yonder-ous which started as a silly little headcanon of "arthur and albert mason are boyfriends, arthur shares a room with charles châtenay because he didn't know charles smith's surname to write on the accommodation form for uni" and has turned into an entire rewrite of the main story missions, altered to fit in the au. everyone lives au, too!

would anyone be interested in reading this, because the planning doc is 4000+ words and we haven't even added any stranger missions in yet. or written the epilogue

This is diving head-first into headcanon territory, but hey, I wanted to mention it in the original post anyway, so I guess we will just Fall like Crowley. With at least a slight concussion, but no regrets.

Josiah Wedgewood was known for many things, but if needs to be addressed how his works were heavily inspired by the original Greco-Roman artifacts — not only thematically and aesthetically (although he did love the same mythological motifs as Aziraphale, based on the latter’s bookshop decorations pt. 1, pt. 2), but also process-wise.

If you’re interested, here you can read more about the Portland Vase, a Roman vase dated to between AD 1 and AD 25, and its famous copies made by Josiah Wedgwood at the end of the 18th century. The conclusion is: if you were looking for a person able to counterfeit a 1st century AD Roman* dish around the time Aziraphale was opening his bookshop, Josiah would be your best bet**.

Josiah Wedgwood became also widely known for the invention of jasperware — named after the actual jasper for marketing purposes, in reality only a type of hard porcelain.

Jasper or jaspis, a variety of chalcedony, conveniently appears in the context of the Holy Grail, especially in the above mentioned stone version of the legend.

Apart from this stone, Wolfram von Eschenbach connects to the Grail the enigmatic Latin concept of lapsit exillis interpreted by scholars in various ways: lapis erilis, or “Lord's stone” (San Marte); lapis elixir, in reference to the alchemical elixir of regeneration (Palgen); lapis betillis or betillus (Hagen), which may be a reference to baitulos, the stone fallen from the sky according to Greek mythology; lapis ex coelis or de coelis, a “heavenly stone” (Martin); and finally, lapis exiliis, or “stone of the exile.”

In reality, no matter how accurate these conjectural interpretations are from a purely etymological point of view, the Grail is susceptible to all of these meanings, according to its various aspects. The Grail is first of all a lapis ex coelis because, according to Wolfram, it was originally brought down to earth by a host of angels.

In this tradition, also referred to in the Titurel by Albrecht von Scharffenberg, the Grail appears as a stone dish made of jasper or flint (silica), and is connected to the symbol of the phoenix. According to Wolfram, these were the angels who were condemned to descend to earth for having remained neutral when Lucifer rebelled against God***. The Grail was guarded by them and did not lose its qualities; later on it was entrusted to a stock of knights, who were appointed from above (Julius Evola, The Mystery of the Grail).

In the Apocalypse, one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls full of the seven last plagues took John of Patmos on a sightseeing tour of the New Jerusalem, a great city built on the rubbles of the old world by Jesus after the Second Coming to house the chosen ones whose names were written in the Book of Life. “It had the glory of God and a radiance like a very rare jewel, like jasper, clear as crystal” (Rev 21:10–11).

There’s also an interesting story about the Grail being made from a fallen jewel from Lucifer’s crown, usually connected to the Masonic symbol of the Blazing Star falling from Heaven. As Albert Pike writes in Morals and Dogma, “The Blazing Star has been regarded as an emblem of Omniscience, or the All-Seeing Eye, which to the ancients was the Sun”.

Masons also represent the Lapsit Exillis as the Stone that was rejected — the secret cornerstone of Solomon’s Temple which symbolizes the core of their teachings. Some alchemical texts assume that it’s composed of pure fire; the others mention a special water of the stars that does not wet. It was said to be composed of a common matter that was often overlooked or outright rejected, thought useless by the ignorant and discarded.

Much like Metatron underestimates both humanity and its oldest guardian, Principality Aziraphale, Angel of the Eastern Gate, during his latest visit on Earth.

* Palestine in the times of Jesus was practically under Roman occupation, legally — one of the Roman provinces. Scvording to Bible, at least one of the Twelve Apostles, Paul, enjoyed the status of a Roman citizen.

** And if said dish somehow ended up changing hands for the next century until finally reaching John Gibson’s post office shop in New Cumnock, well, wouldn’t that be quite ineffable?

*** As far as we know, in the Good Omens universe the only angel permanently stationed on Earth is Aziraphale. The very one who goes with Heaven as far as he can. The demotion from the glorified Cherub of Eden to a Heavenly representative on Earth could be related to his apple duty gone wrong, but the possibility of him staying neutral during the Great War or not as much dedicated to the cause as he should is still possible.

Aziraphale’s secret investigation and overlooked Clues

Remember this frame from Good Omens S02E06? Apparently Aziraphale had been using the empty carton box brought by Jim to store things in. It became a new home to at least two out of three “Lost Quartos” — the supposedly lost Shakespeare plays briefly but hilariously mentioned in the Good Omens book — as well as a very mysterious legal document.

Thought probably half of the Good Omens analysts here, including the ever so wonderful @fuckyeahgoodomens, who managed to find some information about the deceased John Gibson from New Cumnock (1855 - 1905).

Unfortunately the most interesting thing about this early 20th century provincial postmaster was his youngest child James (1894 - 1973), a quite famous stage (West End!) and film actor immortalized on screen in The Master of Ballantrae (1962), Witch Wood (1964) and Kidnapped (1963).

After that particular discovery the fandom-wide search seemingly led nowhere and the topic died a premature death.

And I almost figured it out seven months ago.

“But Yuri, you’re so clever. How can somebody as clever as you be so stupid?”, you probably want to shout across a busy London street at this point. Well, let me tell you. Much like Aziraphale, I'm blindingly intelligent for about thirty seconds a day. I do not get to choose which seconds and they are not consecutive.

Only tonight the stars have aligned in an ineffable way.

For those of you who don’t follow this account, some time ago I’ve realized that John Gibson isn’t the only testator whose estate was being investigated by Aziraphale right before The Whickber Street Traders and Shopkeepers Association monthly meeting.

If you watch S2 finale closely enough, you should notice that Crowley not only stress cleans Aziraphale’s bookshop — he also goes through the books and papers on his desk between the last three angels leaving the bookshop and Maggie and Nina’s intervention. A seemingly permanent arrangement of the props post-shooting, visible in detail both on Radio Times tour and SFX magazine photo shoot, sheds even more light on this detail.

The close-ups published after S2 release are legible enough to refer us to a much more prominent historical figure, Josiah Wedgwood (1730 – 1795) — an English potter, entrepreneur and abolitionist. Founding the Wedgwood company in 1759, he developed improved pottery bodies by systematic experimentation, and was the leader in the industrialisation of the manufacture of European pottery.

Long story short, I transcribed the handwritten pages abandoned on Aziraphale’s desk, found out the source and the full text of what could be identified as Wedgwood’s last will and testament, took a walk to visit his Soho workshop, and proceeded to write a lengthy meta analysis about it.

I was today’s years old when I realized that there’s something else connecting those two dead British men.

The Scottish Post Office Directory of 1903 recorded John Gibson from New Cumnock as a “stationer and china dealer” (above) operating from the shop located in the town’s post office building.

Indeed, a close look at his post office shop window in the Henderson Building (below, bottom left) reveals an artful display of fine china and pottery next to postcards printed by Gibson.

There are multiple ways to connect this surprising link with possible S3 plot points, obviously, but it’s getting late, so let’s just name the two most important ones.

You’ve probably heard of the Holy Grail, maybe from Monty Python or Good Omens S01E03 1941 flashback. Depending on the version of the story, if can be a cup, a chalice, a bowl, or a saucer — but almost always a dish or a vessel connected personally, physically and metaphysically to Jesus (unless you’re partial to Wolfram von Eschenbach’s idea that the Grail was a stone, the sanctuary of the neutral angels who took neither side during Lucifer's rebellion).

A slightly more obscure dish related to the Son of God appears in the sixteenth chapter of the Book of Revelation as a vital part of His Second Coming. The Seven Bowls (or cups, or vials) of God’s Wrath are supposed to be poured out on the wicked and the followers of the Antichrist by seven angels:

Then I heard a loud voice from the temple telling the seven angels, “Go and pour out on the earth the seven bowls of the wrath of God.” So the first angel went and poured out his bowl on the earth, and harmful and painful sores came upon the people who bore the mark of the beast and worshiped its image.

The second angel poured out his bowl into the sea, and it became like the blood of a corpse, and every living thing died that was in the sea.

The third angel poured out his bowl into the rivers and the springs of water, and they became blood. And I heard the angel in charge of the waters say, “Just are you, O Holy One, who is and who was, for you brought these judgments. For they have shed the blood of saints and prophets, and you have given them blood to drink. It is what they deserve!” And I heard the altar saying, “Yes, Lord God the Almighty, true and just are your judgments!”

The fourth angel poured out his bowl on the sun, and it was allowed to scorch people with fire. They were scorched by the fierce heat, and they cursed the name of God who had power over these plagues. They did not repent and give him glory.

The fifth angel poured out his bowl on the throne of the beast, and its kingdom was plunged into darkness. People gnawed their tongues in anguish and cursed the God of heaven for their pain and sores. They did not repent of their deeds.

The sixth angel poured out his bowl on the great river Euphrates, and its water was dried up, to prepare the way for the kings from the east. And I saw, coming out of the mouth of the dragon and out of the mouth of the beast and out of the mouth of the false prophet, three unclean spirits like frogs. For they are demonic spirits, performing signs, who go abroad to the kings of the whole world, to assemble them for battle on the great day of God the Almighty.  (“Behold, I am coming like a thief! Blessed is the one who stays awake, keeping his garments on, that he may not go about naked and be seen exposed!”) And they assembled them at the place that in Hebrew is called Armageddon.

The seventh angel poured out his bowl into the air, and a loud voice came out of the temple, from the throne, saying, “It is done!” And there were flashes of lightning, rumblings, peals of thunder, and a great earthquake such as there had never been since man was on the earth, so great was that earthquake. The great city was split into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell, and God remembered Babylon the great, to make her drain the cup of the wine of the fury of his wrath. And every island fled away, and no mountains were to be found. And great hailstones, about one hundred pounds each, fell from heaven on people; and they cursed God for the plague of the hail, because the plague was so severe.

It’d been so long since you’d seen Albert in person. He’d been in New York for about a month, so of course you wrote letters back and forth, but it was never the same as properly talking to each other.

And now that you were together, the first thing you did was crash your lips upon his. Neither of you cared that there was a bit too much saliva or that there were other people around; the only thing that mattered was adding onto the memory of what the other person’s lips felt like. Your tongue was caught between Albert’s teeth for a moment before he let it touch his own, his heading tilting to help deepen the kiss.

When you finally moved away, your teeth clenched around Albert’s bottom lip for a moment. It wasn’t even intentional, it just came naturally (and desperately). You quickly countered the action with a tiny flick of your tongue across his lip.

Albert stood there in amazement, surprised at your aggression— he didn’t mind it, though. “You… I missed you greatly, Y/N,” he managed to say, too embarassed to make eye contact.

albert x kieran headcanons :)

they, of course, both infodump  a lot !! it's mostly dumping about nature and animals and such, but sometimes there'll be long sessions of rambling about fishing techniques (by kieran) or particular makes of camera (by albert) !!

 albert, after hearing the way many of the gang members treat kieran, becomes protective. he visits kieran in camp occasionally and makes it a point to defend kieran from bill, micah, and others.

kieran originally felt kind of awkward about it, feeling a little like he was being babied by albert, but albert explained that while kieran could defend himself, someone unfamiliar pointing out their flaws and harassing them for their actions often made the bullying go down a lot more. kieran understood, and now he feels safer in camp <33

albert isn't exactly the most confident person, but having kieran to remind him of how truly talented he is, helps. kieran loves to point out the small details in his photos, praising him for caring so much about nature and animals and photography 

kieran is also quite anxious about his work not being good enough, so albert likes to sit and watch him take care of the horses or do chores. once kieran is finished, albert gushes about how cute kieran looks when he's paying close attention and how dedicated he is to getting his work done <3

both of them are somewhat touch starved, so they're very physically affectionate. hugs, kisses, hand holding, etc. are done regularly and accepted warmly. they're often seen cuddling just to pass the time.

sometimes in the morning, they'll accidentally switch hats. its just a thing that happens and everyone has learned to accept it

they like collecting flowers together!! they make things like chains, crowns, and necklaces with the flowers!!! they are very soft and goofy and think flowers (and each other) are very pretty!!!!

on the topic of them being goofs, they're silly. they make jokes and pinch each others cheeks and boop each others noses. they can be serious, but for the most part they're funny little nature men in love who show their love through physical affection and jokes <3

christmas headcanons!

merry christmas, if you celebrate it! hope you have a beautiful new year! here are some headcanons for you, including the guys and gals! x

featuring: their favourite holiday activity with you, and what they get you!

Arthur

- activity: horse trail. Arthur takes you on a ride, you sat at the front with your back to his chest, to watch the sun rising over the horizon. He just loves the magic feel of the moment, and the way your breathing soothes him in return.

- gift: he gives you a beautiful sketch he’s been working on, secretly, for quite a while. It’s very detailed and it awes you how much attention he has given to your every scar, freckle, and laugh line.

Charles

- activity: star-gazing. there’s something timeless and romantic about looking at the constellations, especially when you’re lay back with Charles. He points out the stars to you, whispering their names and tracing soft patterns against your skin.

- gift: a pair of soft feather earrings which twirl when the breeze catches them. He made them himself, and gives you the best puppy eyes when you wear them, his expression purely adoring.

John

- activity: drinking. A rather simple holiday activity, but John loves to drink with you. He especially loves tiptoeing past the edge into being slightly drunk, where everything is hilarious for the pair of you and you both end up having a slightly blurred but very amusing night.

- gift: a night away in a hotel. He whisks you off your feet and books you into the Strawberry hotel, somewhere away from camp and the law, in the quaint little town where he can wake up the next morning and tangle up with you in the streaming sunlight.

Javier

- activity: decorating. He loves to remind everyone of the hope that comes with a holiday, and to annoy Micah by stringing up pretty baubles on tree branches or including certain festive herbs in the meals.

- gift: an engraved knife. He saw yours and cringed at the state of the old thing; flimsy and worn down. Javier bought one for you made of the smoothest steel, engraved with a beautiful songbird because you’re his little bird.

Dutch

- activity: dancing. At the end of the night, Dutch loves to pull you close and wordlessly embrace you in a slow dance, listening to his calming music, feeling your rhythmic heart beating.

- gift: jewellery. It might sound tacky, but it’s very sentimental to him. He considered buying you a new piece, but instead he gives you one of his rings on a sturdy, glimmering silver chain. Dutch likes the idea of leaving you with a small piece of him when he’s away, and he can’t tear his eyes away from you when you flaunt around in it, expressing that you’re his.

Hosea

- activity: the morning. Nothing is better for Hosea than waking up to you lay beside him. He always starts such a beautiful morning by stroking your hair, admiring your familiar features, and laying quietly with you as the sun warms your faces.

- gift: horse tack. After a ride together shortly before the holidays, he picked up on your compliments of his beautiful new saddle, a soft beige colour with swirling artworks in the leather. Hosea made sure to get yours custom made with your favourite flowers on the side, and carved his name in the underside, so you’d have that reminder always on hand.

Bill

- activity: food. Holiday food is his favourite thing to receive, because it reminds him of being younger, maybe a more innocent time for him. Besides, he thoroughly enjoys eating way too much with you before proceeding to pass out with one another in a happy heap, processing the meal and the day.

- gift: improved weapons. A bit bashful about gift giving, Bill didn’t want to outright struggle with picking something to buy or make, so instead he took all your most adored weapons and dropped them at a gunsmith. By dawn of the next day, Bill was a little flustered at your gasps of surprise at the state of them; gleaming like new, all with fresh ammunition, the worn parts replaced to be stronger than ever.

Kieran

- activity: gift exchange. He isn’t materialistic, so he doesn’t expect anything for the holidays, but he absolutely adores giving you things. He loves the way you genuinely smile at him, and how you praise him or light up at the gift he presents to you.

- gift: a fishing pole. Silly though it might seem, he loves going fishing with you in unique, quiet spots because that is uniquely your thing together. However, after a few weeks of you sharing a rod, he made you your own fishing pole with a cute little feather attached to the tip, so he can continue to enjoy his time with you and share in the experience even more.

Sean

- activity: singing carols. Usually this is done after a few drinks, but he is just as happy to burst into song fully sober in the middle of camp, midday. It pisses everyone off, but you join in with that mischievous gleam he so loves, and it reminds him how much you have his back no matter what.

- gift: whiskey. Maybe a bit predictable for Sean, but it isn’t just any whiskey, it’s his favourite. An Irish brand, he searched for ages trying to hunt it down for you to try. He can’t give you much, and he doesn’t feel like he has much to give of himself, so getting you something from his homeland felt a lot like sharing his history with you. Plus, he loves drinking with you.

Eagle Flies

- activity: stories. The holiday season always reminds him of ancestors come and gone, of stories passed through generations. Welcoming you into his life includes all these stories, and you both enjoy the intimate moments of sharing intricate stories by the fire.

- gift: a bow. Handmade, of course, from wood both stable enough to hold strong but supple enough to curve into your hands. It fires beautifully, and he likes to compliment you that the pale colour of the wood in your hands is a beautiful scene. 

Albert:

- activity: outfits. A rather silly tradition, but you and Albert each wear a somewhat matching holiday outfit after the one year it happened by coincidence. Now, he insists you both shop for similar and fairly ridiculous holiday clothes, like a hideously coloured vest or a pair of pants with fur lining the waist. It’s basically the equivalent of modern ugly sweaters, and he wears it with pride.

- gift: a photograph. Not of anything he’s taken, nor of nature, but of the pair of you. He was a bit nervous about going in for a photograph as a couple at a proper studio, but Albert longed to give you a gift to keep hold of when he couldn’t be by your side. The first photo was stiff, awkward, and the second much the same. But, oh, the third photograph is just darling - you had whispered something in his ear that made him laugh, and you along with him, just as the camera snapped the scene. It’s a beautiful capture of the two of you embracing in a fit of laughter.

Micah:

- activity: drinking games. Micah loves to show off his skill with some drinking games, but it is also a rather calming thing for him to put his mind to. On the other hand, he very much enjoys watching you let loose, start to let go of your tensions, and truly engage together in a game of cards or something similar.

- gift: a gun belt. Micah always teases you about your weapons and your storage, especially after seeing you struggling to holster your weapons and stash your ammo in your bag or at your hip. Although he’d brush it off as nothing, Micah actually sized you up and had you a proper gun belt made to clip around your hips, with holsters for three guns and two ammunition pouches. Of course, he had to sketch his name in with a knife on the very back, where the belt rests on your butt.

Sadie

- activity: saloon visit. You two enjoy saloon-hopping for the holidays, experiencing very different festive atmospheres and appreciating the seasonal drinks. When it gets very late, you can simply rent out a room and crash together, soaking in the events of the day.

- gift: a lasso. Sadie loves taking you on bounty trips, she likes to see you in action and work together with you (but is always very wary of the fine line where she must keep you safe, at all times). However, your rope snapped on a hunting trip against a straining buck, and she had seen how your face fell in disappointment that you couldn’t use it in any of your upcoming bounty hunts. Sadie is quick to buy you a brand new one, but made of essentially double the strength in a much tighter woven design which holds far better.

Tilly

- activity: chatting. Tilly doesn’t get too much time to slack off when she has chores to do, but around the holidays when things are less tense, she enjoys chatting with you. There’s often little stories you have to share, or gossip, and amusing things you’ve both seen lately. You chat together under a wide oak tree, side by side, enjoying the company.

- gift: a picnic dinner. She isn’t as big on material gifts and wasn’t sure how best to make you smile, so she treated you to a lovely night together in a meadow with the best dishes she could politely force Pearson to rustle up for you two. A bottle of rum was included, and the two of you could end the night laying back, staring up at the stars.

Charlotte:

- activity: cooking. The smell of the herbs and the sizzle of the dishes is so familiar to Charlotte, she loves to share the gift of cooking with you. There isn’t anything quite like the sense of satisfaction when the two of you can step back to admire the beautiful but modest feast you made.

- gift: mittens. It gets really cold in winter when it snows, and when you’re out riding in the cold, Charlotte always winces at the thought. She’s felt your freezing hands against her flushed skin when you’d returned home. She decided to sneakily start knitting a pair of mittens for you, to keep your hands warm. The end product is a little messy, the pattern very all over the place in a jumble of bright coloured wool, but they are snug, warm and sturdy.

Susan

- activity: group time. Susan likes to be more relaxed around the camp on a rare day where things aren’t as hectic as usual. She takes this time to wind down with you, have a quiet chat to other gang members, partake in a dance with you and the others. It’s nice to reaffirm familial bonds.

- gift: a compact mirror. She notices a lot about you, especially when you’re not feeling amazingly confident about your looks on certain days. It always makes her frown in dismay. Susan had the idea to seek out a beautiful hand mirror with a gold handle and frame, engraved with roses on the back. When she gave it to you, she’d written on it in small writing with lipstick, my beautiful darling, always.

Karen

- activity: cuddling. Of course, this is self explanatory. She doesn’t feel she gets enough time to simply hold you close, but the holidays makes her especially cuddly. Anytime, anywhere, she’ll tackle you in a big bear hug and doesn’t care if the embrace lasts long enough to make others uncomfortable.

- gift: a night on the town with herself and you, just as a couple. She buys you drinks, food, trinkets, all sorts to spoil you in Saint Denis. When you’ve both successfully explored every inch of the place and fallen into exhaustion, Karen helps you stumble back to the saloon and collapse onto a springy mattress, right into her waiting arms.

Mary-Beth

- activity: reading. Although she already loves to read, Mary-Beth finds a special enjoyment in reading aloud to you. It calms the pair of you and it offers something unique to share, a story you’re both invested in and want to finish together. Usually those nights are spent with your head in her lap, listening to the soft lulling tone she uses as the reads to you.

- gift: a cheesy chapter about you as the main character, and her as your doe-eyed love interest. She wanted to offer something more personal, so she was working on a lengthy chapter for a while. You star as the main character, the hero, whisking Mary-Beth as your enamoured lover on a short journey. The whole thing is funny and romantic, the ending a little steamy, but it cuts off before anything can get too heated. That’s where you must make the story a reality.

headcanons on arthur surviving, getting out of the life, and maybe he tries to find albert? maybe,,,making it work??👀👀

It’s not until he gets a newspaper and reads about one of Albert’s upcoming exhibits that he thinks about seeking him out. 

It takes nearly dying up on that mountain top for him to realize how much he cares about Mr. Mason. He feels that he needs to meet up with him before the photographer finds some way to get himself killed. 

He can’t believe he’s actually planning a trip to New York. The amount of time he’ll be stuck on a train and the civilization sounds overbearing to him but he still goes ahead with it. 

He thought if he ever got out of the life he would run away with Mary but she doesn’t even cross his mind. He acknowledges that he would never seem worthy enough for her or her father. After years of being hung up on her he finally feels like he’s moved on. 

He goes to the exhibit and manages to blend in with the crowd until Albert gets up to give a speech about his accomplishments. He can tell that Albert noticed him because of the way he starts stuttering and rushing through the rest of his speech. 

They meet up after Albert’s speech and Arthur is sure that Albert had read the paper that stated that he had died by the look that he keeps giving him. He looks like he’s seen a ghost and can’t get his words out.

Arthur tries to lighten the mood by saying “suppose I got some explaining to do.” 

They go back to Albert’s place to talk and Arthur isn’t expecting for Albert to pull him into a hug and to start crying. Arthur can’t help but cry too, he missed him so much.

When they are able to compose themselves Arthur explain how he was sick and almost died up on a mountain top but was saved by his friend Charles.

It all start flowing out of Arthur. How he was in the Van der Linde gang but now out of the life, how he had TB but managed to heal up and he stutters over his words as he tries to explain, how much Albert means to him and that he came to New York to tell him that he wanted to be with him not as friends but to be together. That’s about all he can stumble out before getting frustrated with his words and pulling Albert to him, kissing him deeply to get what he was meaning across to him. (knocking off both of their hats in the process)

They both get a head rush from kissing and are super flustered when they pull away. Albert would breathlessly say something about how the kiss was better than he imagined. It would lead into him confessing his feelings for Arthur as well and telling him that he was so heartbroken when he read the paper that said he had died. 

Albert would insist that Arthur stayed with him rather than a hotel. Then over the course of time he would express how he would love if Arthur stayed in New York with him. There would be the underlining understanding that they would still travel for Albert to take photos so they wouldn’t always be in the city.

Arthur can’t believe he’s considering staying in New York, it’s just as bad if not worst than Saint Denis with crowds. He does stay though. He has everything he owns with him there was really no reason for him to go back. It’s more unlikely for anyone to find out that the famous outlaw wasn’t dead if he could easily blend in.

Albert helps Arthur with his social anxiety and shows him around the city. When it’s not as busy they briefly hold hands which is very calming for the both of them.

When Albert is not working on his wildlife photography he’s assisting with preserving wildlife’s habitats. He cares so deeply about making sure that animals aren’t overly being hunted such as birds being killed for their feathers being used for hats and such on. He also has a studio he works at where he takes mainly family photos which is just so he can make a bit more money though it doesn’t hold his heart like wildlife photography does.

Arthur also ends out working with animals. He finds a job working at a stable, still feeling like he needs that hard manual labor job in order to function. He also sells some of his sketches after months of Albert telling him that he should. It starts the path for Arthur to show of his artistic side even though he doesn’t believe he’ll do anything more but sell a few.  

 He struggles to relax even after years of being out of the gang and Albert has to forces him some days to sit back and relax. Which usually ends out with Arthur getting huffy that Albert was thinking he was too old to be constantly working. 

They take trips together to the country side. Albert takes photos while Arthur either protects him from any predators that could be nearby or sketches. He can’t believe how many people are interested in purchasing his animal sketches. 

They live a peaceful and simple life growing old together in New York.

Okay but Albert Mason and Charles Chatenay meeting (before the events of the main game if we're going with canon) and being completely bemused by each other's choice of art medium/theme? And having lots of heated debates? Which always end badly because Charles takes it too far and Albert gets upset? But eventually they learn to respect each other? And maybe even become friends? Or more?? And Albert's portrait ends up in a gallery one day???

And Albert always tries to take Charles out into wilds to take photographs but Charles makes such a fuss at the tiniest amount of mud on his boots that Albert is this close to letting hungry coyotes get him.

Also Charles fed a skunk thinking it was a big squirrel and it followed him all afternoon.
