Jin:

I feel like he'd "get along" with Blade

i.e, they're similar, so there's camaraderie in there

Absolutely despises you because you're always doing something stupid

You have a stellaron inside of you, you need to be careful

It was stressful enough watching you (kind of) die once

He can't go through it again

It doesn't matter how good at fighting you are, you need to be more careful

Shows his love through harsh words and calling you stupid

Alan:

Admires your strength

Like a lot. Stares in awe when you fight

But when you two are alone, he treats you like you're made of glass

He's overprotective and wants you to stay safe

Has thrown himself in front of you multiple times

You two patch each other up and it's super cute

Haru:

Absolutely hates the fact that you have a Stellaron in you

He may be all goofy and nonchalant on the outside

But on the inside, he is screaming

disappointing not to see Sarah, but I assume the line about "joining the feds" is a nod to the fact that she joined up with the FBC. which is what I would expect, after everything - following in dad's footsteps, probably feeling the sting of not being able to stop the events of 2010, and one of the few who possibly wouldn't be affected by shifting realities and memories. and field agent seems like a good fit for her, so I wouldn't be surprised to see her holding down the fort somewhere outside the Oldest House during the Hiss invasion.

and let's be real, this game would only be half as long if she was around. in the first game Alan rightfully doesn't trust the cops to help, but if he'd opened up to her right away, she would've knocked his head on straight immediately and the middle chunk of the game just wouldn't have happened fhghshg. no Cult of the Tree being clumsy and disorganized because she'd clock them from a mile away and be like "what the HELL are you doing" and probably whip them into shape (and that's if they didn't spring up only because Frank died and Sarah left and there wasn't really anyone else who was Aware of the nature of the area who wasn't old enough to be in a nursing home). Alan crawls out of the lake and Sarah's like "I don't trust like that" but also gets him a shock blanket and lies to the FBC even though she knows what they really do because she's so damn sick of federal agents waltzing in trying to call the shots while making everything worse. Scratch has to start acting the donkey immediately just to get the narrative to go off the rails
