Anyways, I usually hate drawing feet, but I desperately needed to see my diva boy Alan in this outfit with spindly little heels. Pose references are a godsend.

Scott and Julia are both very happy and supportive of the two of them.

General 6: How do their personalities complement each other? How do they clash?

The two of them are a VERY opposites-attract fem4fem couple.

Alan is incredibly extroverted, popular, and expressive. He's a total diva. He has zero sense of humbleness or modesty and he revels in it. He's incredibly flirtactious, and has dated/fucked a few other people before and quite enjoys stuff like that. He's the embodiment of the "popular diva cheerleader girl" stereotype, but as a guy lol.

Emma on the other hand is... almost entirely the opposite. She's very shy, socially awkward, wallflower. She sees herself as a "loser" sometimes. She does get into cheer with Alan, but also has a lot more of a nerdy side. She has zero dating/sex experience, and actually gets incredibly overwhelmed during her and Alan's first time.

Love 12: Who remembers the little things?

Alan is also the type who would be cautious about not wanting to screw up with Emma and would go out of his way to remember those little things. Vice versa for Emma, who also is a rather perceptive type.

Cadybear's MC Wardrobes: Alan Parke, OG HSS Book 3. Featuring some edits by me!

How this series goes: With each book, for a MC I'm invested in, I'll assess each of their in-game outfits. How much do I like or dislike the outfit? Is this something that suits my MC's style, or does it make me go "My MC would NOT wear/own this"? And for the outfits that my MC would not wear or own, how would I alter or replace them? I'm not going to use screenshots from the actual game because I can't be arsed. Also I want to use the different sprite expressions to express how my MC would feel about each outfit.

I like to think this is a good opportunity to elaborate on my MCs' dress styles, and show off some edits :D

Ch 1: "All-American Boy" and "Spring Fever" Premium Starter Outfits

They're alright, but they both look so plain in comparison to the f!MC options. Especially the first one. The second one I think Alan would kind of like, but mainly if the shorts were shorter.

Verdict: Only the second outfit is in Alan's wardrobe, and only partly. Alter by making the shorts shorter. But also replace entirely, and use a different outfit as his official spring casual outfit.

Here's the outfit more in his style, plus him in the f!MC options "Not-So-Cold Shoulder" and "Spring Fling" respectively. I feel like he'd prefer the "Not-So-Cold Shoulder" one as his casual outfit.

Though I do also think he'd like the pink "Party On" outfit from Payton's party as a spring casual outfit. So that will probably be his official one. IDK for sure, honestly.

Ch 1/2: "Tour Guide Extraordinaire" Premium Outfit

Bruhhhhhh this does not look like a tour guide outfit!!! The "Spring Fever" outfit looks more like a tour guide outfit tbh, it even has a similar color scheme to the f!MC's outfit!

And even that aside, the outfit itself is just... not visually appealing. It looks too busy. Though I do like that the blazer and pants match Emma's spring outfit color scheme... but that's about it, and even then I don't think it's really worth it.

Verdict: Alan would NOT own this. Replace entirely. Maybe keep the blazer and pants for a different outfit.

Alan would much prefer the altered version of the "Spring Fever" outfit for being a tour guide.

BONUS ROUND: Ch 3: Baseball Uniform

Not his favorite style, but he'd work the look.

Verdict: Technically not in Alan's wardrobe because you have to return uniforms, but he'd enjoy wearing it. Keep it as is.

Ch 4: "Beach Bro" Premium Outfit for the Mitchell's Beach Party

Not bad, I think he’d really like the colors and pattern of the shirt. I also kind of prefer this as the casual outfit for him to wear during the playthrough, than the Spring Fever outfit (but not as his official spring casual outfit, of course).

But obviously, he'd far prefer the f!MC's outfit. This outfit isn’t near the levels of bland as a lot of these other m!MC special outfits, but I still don’t think it’s really something that would grab people’s attention at a party. At the very most, it just fits the beach vibe and has a nice pattern, and that's it.

Verdict: Alan would only partly own this. Keep the shirt for future potential outfits, but ditch the shorts, and replace entirely for the beach party.

Here's what he'd prefer to wear.

Ch 7: "Tight Knit" Premium Outfit for Open Mic Night at the restaurant

It's not bad... the cardigan is actually kind of cute, and the overall color scheme does look nice on him. But it doesn't really stand out that much otherwise, and it's definitely not Alan's taste.

Verdict: Alan would only partially own this. Keep the cardigan, possibly for future outfits, but ditch the rest, and replace entirely for the event.

I feel like he might wear the "Spring Fling" outfit for this event. It's a neat-looking outfit. I'm not fully sure though... might have to return to this later.

BONUS ROUND: Ch 11: Band Concert Outfit

Looks pretty good, but I think he'd far prefer the shorter sleeve one that the ladies wear.

Verdict: Only partly in Alan's wardrobe. Alter by shortening the sleeves.

I should also mention that while I do have a band!Evie AU, I don't think I'll have a band!Alan or jock!Alan AU. Or I might have a band!Alan AU, but it probably would only take place over Book 1 because he’d only really do colorguard, unless they have room for some singing roles in concert band but IDK. I don't think Alan would have a lot of skill in playing any musical instruments. I'll put him in the colorguard in the bonus rounds.

Ch 12: "Blackout", "Flower Power", and "True Blue" Prom Outfits

Clearly the flower-pattern suit is meant to be the more "fem" option for male MC, as the tux was the more masc option for f!MC. I like it, but I don't see why they couldn't have had a dress option. Or better yet, why PB doesn't have dress options for m!characters more often. HWU had a dress option for male characters. Y'all could have expanded from that.

That being said, Alan would still adore that flower suit, especially if he wore it with some glittery spindly red high heels because that would be such a cunty power look.

Verdict: Only the second one would be in Alan’s wardrobe. Keep that one as it is.

Of course, Alan would still love a dress. And he’d definitely love the premium dress from the f!MC’s options, especially with the single shoulder strap and ESPECIALLY with the leg slit. So here’s him in the dress, plus a red one to more closely follow the suits colors.

And now I can't decide which one I like best as his prom outfit. Yaaayyyy

Ch 16: "Always a Tiger" Premium Finale Outfit (and carries over to HSS:CA as MC's default outfit for that trilogy if purchased)

Not bad, he’d definitely love that jacket. But preferably over his cheer uniform, rather than cargo pants.

Verdict: Only partly in Alan's wardrobe. Ditch the cargo pants, and replace with cheer uniform underneath.

Here's how it would actually look. I think Alan would likely wear this as a casual outfit for HSS:CA. But honestly I'm still figuring out what his storyline in the CA timeline would be like. I haven't even fully figured out Evie's HSS:CA rewrite/storyline. But as I do, I will be coming up with a new set of outfits for Alan in that timeline. We'll see.

(Disclaimer: The hairstyle I use for Alan is not actually available until book 2. I'm using it in the book 1 screenshot replications and edits because I don't give a fuck, it should be available.)

Ch 1: "Sleep Tight" Pajamas

They're alright, but I don't think they're quite Alan's style.

Verdict: Alan would not own this. Replace/alter.

Here's what his pajamas would look more like.

Ch 1: "I Work Out", "Classroom Chill", "Just My Stripe", "Mr. Cool", and "Funny Man" Starter Outfits

Of the five starter outfit options, the "I Work Out" one is the only one I think Alan would like. It's light, comfy, and suits his athletic side. Hence I'm using it as his in-game fall casual outfit.

He wouldn't like the cargo pants though. And even then, he'd far prefer a particular outfit from the f!MC wardrobe.

The other outfits are just okay. He might like the jacket and shirt from "Classroom Chill" but probably wouldn't wear them together.

Verdict: Alan would only own the blue sweatshirt, the blazer jacket, and the shirt with the default names of previous customizable MCs. Alter the blue sweatshirt by replacing the cargo pants, and ditch the rest of the outfits/pieces. Use said outfit as default fall casual outfit, but one of the f!MC outfits (with some addition of this outfit) will be his official fall casual outfit.

Here's what he'd prefer as a fall casual outfit, this premium outfit from the f!MC's wardrobe. Plus a variant with the blue sweatshirt over top. Plus a variant of the blue sweatshirt outfit but with leggings, for a more fully athletic look. Plus a variant of the flower top with leggings.

Ch 2: "Party On" Premium Outfit for Brian's Pool Party

This outfit isn't bad but like... OMG, it's way too plain to be a "win points with friends and LIs" premium outfit, let alone part of Alan's wardrobe.

Seriously, I bought this one to see what would happen, and I for the life of me can not suspend my disbelief for how so many of the characters absolutely fawn over this. IT IS A PLAIN BEACH SHIRT WITH PLAIN BOARD SHORTS.

I mean sure, I headcanon Evie might wear this to look good at the party, but even then I don't think so many people would be absolutely fawning over it as if it's a frilly white short top with short shorts. Y'know, the f!MC's version of this! Yeah, the bonus dialogue for this premium outfit is so blatantly coded for f!MC's outfit, and unfortunately this is gonna be a very common theme with a lot of m!MC outfits. Do people actually act like that over a guy wearing a plain beach shirt with plain board shorts?

Verdict: Alan would not own this. Replace entirely.

Here's what he'd actually prefer to wear. Evie would prefer to wear the m!MC's version and Alan would prefer to wear the f!MC's version.

Ch 2: Swimsuit

The pattern is okay, but Alan deserves better than swim trunks.

Verdict: Alan would NOT own this. Replace entirely.

Ch 6: Cheerleader Uniform

It looks fine, but he'd prefer the female outfit with the tiny skirt.

Verdict: Technically not in Alan's wardrobe because you have to return uniforms, but either way, Alan would not quite wear this. Alter by replacing the pants with skirt and shortening the top.

BONUS ROUND: Ch 6: Football Unform

Alan isn't into football and the uniform isn't his favorite, but he'd find a way to rock it.

Verdict: Technically not in Alan's wardrobe because you have to return uniforms, but he might enjoy wearing it. Keep it as is.

Not sure he'd be into band, and it's not quite his style, but he might enjoy strutting around in it.

Ch 9: "Eye of the Tiger" and "Hear My Roar" Premium Tiger Mascot Suits for the pep rally

While he'd probably prefer to do the pep rally in his cheer uniform, he'd also have quite a bit of fun wearing a tiger costume. He'd probably go with the white one.

Verdict: Keep both outfits as they are, but Alan would pick the white one.

Ch 11: "Varsity Greens" Premium Disguise for sneaking into Hearst

He'd definitely be more willing than Evie is to disguise himself (even if he's the only one doing it)... but he'd far prefer to disguise himself as a cheerleader. Though I will say, Max swooning over m!MC's muscles thinking he's a Hearst jock is absolutely iconic.

Verdict: Alan would disguise himself, but he would not wear this as the disguise. Replace entirely.

Ch 12: "Team Berry" Premium Outfit for the Homecoming Parade

Love the top, but Alan would not want the cargo pants. Let him wear short shorts like the f!MC got.

Once again of course, buying this outfit is the only way to get that yearbook photo with MC and LI waving from Ms. Maddox's car, and the photo itself is still enjoyable. But still.

Verdict: Only partly in Alan's wardrobe. Alter by replacing the pants.

Here's what the outfit would look like with Alan's actual preferred style of shorts/pants.

Ch 14: "The Classic", "All That Glitters", and "Semiformal-ish" Homecoming Outfits

Of these three, the only one he'd really like is the gold waistcoat outfit. Even then, he'd far prefer a dress.

Verdict: The only one of these that Alan might own is the waistcoat outfit. Even then, replace it entirely.

Here's a dress that's more in Alan's style. While I'd normally have used the boutonniere from the outfit I liked the most, the one from the tux outfit is a literal match with the corsage that Emma wears, so I used that.

Ch 1: "Hipster Handsome", "Winter Wonderland", and "Snow Day" Starter Outfits

These outfits are pretty neat. I think Alan would like the scarf and jacket from hipster handsome and the sweater in the winter wonderland one. But that's about it. Even then, they're not quite his style.

Verdict: Only the first two outfits are in Alan's wardrobe, and only partly. Alter by combining some pieces and adding a skirt.

Here's something more in his style. Weather appropriate, but still stylish.

Ch 1: "Live From Berry High" Outfit for Tiger News

It's nice, but he'd prefer the f!MC's version. This looks more like the m!version of the premium casual "Make A Statement" outfit from f!MC's wardrobe. Hence, something Evie would wear as a semiformal/date night thing (reminder to self: edit this outfit onto Evie).

Verdict: Alan would not wear this. Replace entirely.

BONUS ROUND: Ch 2: Basketball Uniform

Doesn't look bad on him, but not really his style either.

Verdict: Technically not in Alan's wardrobe because you have to return uniforms, but he wouldn't care for it either way.

Ch 3: "OMB Tigers" for Winter Carnival

Solid look, but he deserves to have a little "B" necklace like the f!MC version has.

Verdict: Part of Alan's wardrobe, but needs the addition of an extra piece. Alter by adding necklace. And replacing pants with skirt.

Ch 7: "Evening Jade" for Maria's birthday party

This actually looks really nice on him! The tie goes with his hair. But it isn't really his preferred style.

Verdict: Alan would not own this. Replace entirely.

Obviously, I'm gonna give him a dress. I wanna keep it just nice enough for the restaurant, but still have a bit of a casual feel to it and not overly flashy, and somewhat maintain the aesthetic of the original. As much as he loves to grab people's attention with his dress style and make things all about him, he knows better than to upstage the birthday girl. Especially since he likes the birthday girl. I already made him lean into self-centered jerk in Book 2's storyline, no need to top that by having him straight up upstage the birthday gir...

...oh fuck it. His logic is that he should wear something extra nice to celebrate the special day of a girl he likes. And also that she gets some good eyecandy on her birthday. I don't think Maria would mind. Classic Alan Parke.

And I do still plan to make new outfits for the other characters for this event. Stay tuned.

Not his usual style, but he rocks the look, ngl. It's worth disguising himself.

Verdict: Alan would wear as a disguise, but he would not own this item (and I'm not sure if he'd be allowed to anyways). Keep it as is.

Ch 14: "Saturday Night" and "Forever Young" Premium Outfit for Payton's Winter Party

Ohhhhhh my god these have got to be the PLAINEST outfits in the whole game. They make the pool party outfit look like a met gala fashion show outfit. Legit the f!MC options are a shimmery gold sequin top and a bright pink tight top with a short pattern skirt, and then the m!MC outfits are THIS poopoo-colored shit!?!?!

I'm having a hard time deciding which is blander. The button-up on the first one kind of looks like snow falling in the night sky which is a bit of a nice touch, and I'd also say the blazer at least looks appropriate for the party setting but DID IT HAVE TO BE BROWN???? Meanwhile, the second one has a much better color scheme, but it's so plain and casual??? The f!MC's pink tank top and skirt outfit could also be technically considered casual, but it at least had a distinct style and some eyecatching design that I can actually buy the other characters fawning over them. I can not buy that with either of these.

Verdict: Alan would NOT own either of these. Replace entirely.

Normally I would object to them not letting Emma lift my MC, but when I really think about it I can kinda see Alan carrying her. Especially as I think he would be much taller than her, even without heels. He might like lifting her up to get all seductive with her... but I don't think he'd spin her around while carrying her though.

I can maybe see Emma trying to lift Alan, or at least dipping him. I do still think that would suit them.
