Hi everyone. I've been asked by Oday (@oday-akram) to share his story with you.

Oday is only 19 years old and he is from a family of 8. Oday is a hard-working student and would often study by candlelight at night, trying his best to learn even amid the sound of explosions. He dreams of continuing his studies in university. Yet instead of going to lectures and pursuing his degree, Oday, the eldest son in his family, now bears the burden of raising funds so that his family may buy food and uncontaminated water.

Their house has been destroyed. The tent they are sleeping in is constantly flooded, which means that they often have to sleep on wet pillows and sheets soaked with dirty water! They live in constant danger, and they have had friends who have been killed by the bombings.

Oday is fundraising to do his best to help his family and all his younger siblings. He also wishes to continue his studies after working so hard to get into university. Please help him!

Her living situation is very difficult, as her husband’s family’s house was destroyed as well as her house due to the genocide. She can’t afford basic necessities for living.
