ALSO I have a take that many of you reading this might consider it controversial, but you will only take this away from me once I'm dead. Yoo Joonghyuk and Kim Dokja understand each other better than Kim Dokja and Han Sooyoung do. Sure, Yoo Joonghyuk and Kim Dokja have a wall they need to break first before reaching the point of understanding each other without the need to speak words. But Kim Dokja and Han Sooyoung have a wall too and they never once managed to actually break it (They know nothing about each other outside of fiction related matters, which I guess you could make the argument that in a story where fiction became reality other things wouldn't matter, however keep in mind that all the problems Kimcom faced during the epilogue come from the fact that these two do not, in fact, understand each other. Kim Dokja treated Han Sooyoung as a companion but Han Sooyoung saw Kim Dokja as only a reader.)

Lives together (and they were roommates): Singshong already said in their interview for the simplified chinese release that Kim Dokja's dream of 'Buying a big house and living together with everyone' is shared by Yoo Joonghyuk too.

I gotta to say something about Babe's acting really quickly. I love the way he’s inhabiting the personality of his naga character with reptilian eye and body movements and (I don’t know how to put this) a certain reserved, elegant, slithering- ness. Pit Babe (Fri iQIYI) ep 9 of 14 - Charlie & Babe = honeymoon phase. Jeff & Kim = forgotten. Pete & Way = riddles wrapped in alphas but actually enigmas. Everyone else = gang bang phase…. Apparently. Trash watch happening here.

Cooking Crush (Sun YT) ep 6 of 12 - Loved that this was a mutual kiss. (Also how comfortable are OffGunn kissing now? Babies!) I’ve moved from indifference to absolute loathing of the side couple tho.

Time the series (Thai Gaga) ep 1 of 10 - Okay so there’s a gang and someone named Chris is killed and his boyfriend, actor Foam, is jumped back in time to save him? NO SINGING. Between Chris’s death and that time-slip there’s some kind of accidental murder, a pink pocket watch, Chris being alive again but also a different person, and a make out scene. Are you also confused? Actually, the real question is: Do we continue watching? Remember we (the collective BLorg) do not trust MFlow. 

My Universe (Sun iQIYI) ep 21 of 24 - The acting has been pretty terrible all along with this series, but this one is the worst. I just can’t. I may tune in for the last installment but this one is a DNF for me.

Although I Love You and You AKA Sukiyanen Kedo Do Yaro ka (Japan Gaga) ep 1 of 10 - It’s utterly adorable. Very manga, but so far not grating on my nerves. They so cute! You know I adore a hyung romance. Add a v gay sauna scene and an OUT gay boy and just... YES. All the married breeder regulars being overly invested in their pretty cook’s queer drama queening, it's so good.

AND THEN a confession in the first episode? Japan sure loves to mess with the pacing of plots drops.

Sahara-sensei to Toki-kun (Japan Fri Gaga) ep 5 of 8 - Man I wish this were better I enjoyed this more. Sigh. I do LOVE the stepbrother sides. Of course I do. Omg,,, thank u for the ask, I’ll take this as an opportunity to introduce all of my fellas since i have multiple saves/ocs for fallout 4. Right now they’re all in separate aus but I wanna connect them, I just haven’t decided who I want to be the sosu yet, if i even want one at all.

Starting with Ranger, my newest character. He’s the charismatic leader of the Minutemen. He likes making light of every situation, but he knows when to take things seriously. He just puts on a laidback attitude so he appears less intimidating. He’s trying very hard to make the commonwealth safer, but he has some doubts and insecurities about his position, which he bottles up and keeps to himself. He wants to be the person that everyone can rely on and look up to, even if that means putting his own problems aside to appear put-together and strong. He’s the one I draw Edward Deegan with, and I wanna do more with the two of them since I love me some eldritch horror vibes. I imagine Ranger and Edward go on relic hunts for Jack Cabot after their questline, getting into hijinks and fun spooky, horrifyingly traumatic adventures. Maybe kissing along the way. Who knows.

Knight on the other hand, is an anxious, paranoid little glorbo; and I say this while he stands at like 6’4”, he’s BIG, the tallest of all of my guys. He’s got severe PTSD and he really doesn’t like living in the apocalypse. He had a wife! They were in a queer platonic relationship; they got married for the benefits but they’re both gay. He’s devastated after losing her, since she was his best friend. He has a very hard time adjusting to the new commonwealth, he barely scrapes by, has to force himself to function because everything reminds him of war and suffering. He eventually stumbles into Goodneighbor, gets hooked on chems to distract himself from bad memories, meets Hancock one bad night and ends up getting drunk/rambling to the poor ghoul. They end up hitting it off despite the ridiculous introduction. Hancock manages to ground Knight, gives him a purpose again; helping good people, and hurting bad people. Knight travels the commonwealth doing odd jobs, trying to do what he can, even joins up with the Railroad to help out the Synths. Just trying to make up for all the time he’d lost, doing what he thinks would’ve made his best friend proud.

Now for Paladin. Yes, he is named Paladin, and yes, he WAS Paladin Paladin before being promoted to Sentinel. It’s probably obvious by now that I have a Dnd/medieval theme for my character’s names. Anyway, Paladin here is— of course— a part of the Brotherhood of Steel. I made him to be a big dickhead because I don’t play mean characters in video games enough. Unlike my other sosus he’s actually thriving in the apocalypse. Before being frozen he was very dissatisfied/disconnected with the ordinary life he was trying to live, he felt like a husk of himself and he couldn’t understand why. After waking up and being met with a destroyed world, his soldier mentality immediately kicked in again. He adapted fast, and when he learns about the Brotherhood and its US military-esc operations he quickly latches onto it. It’s familiar to him, and he excels at his duties. He rises through the ranks quickly, earning his place as Sentinel and developing a massive ego along the way. The Brotherhood makes him feel powerful, and that sort of becomes an addiction of sorts. He just wants more and more power, he wants to be respected; and if not respected, feared.

And as a bonus unrelated to fallout 4,

This is Monty, aka Montague. He’s a prewar ghoul living in the Canadian territories, or Little America as it’s referred to in the Fallout universe. He was a proud mountie back before Canada was annexed, kept his uniform in a locked safe for years. When the bombs fell and he was ghoulified, he pulled it out and dedicated himself to helping those who get lost in the nuclear winter. I’m still learning things about Fallout lore so idk how Canada is depicted after the bombs in canon, but the idea I had is that Monty lives in a massive, snowy wasteland which he’s learned to navigate with a lot of hard work and dedication. He earns caps by guiding people through the tundra, since few know how to avoid all the dangers it poses.

cora’s bad time hell simulation steps or how to play “sprite station for girl” “harvest moon ds cute” the wrong way

ok so here’s what my disorganized “guide” to myself for harvest moon ds for girl (aka indecipherable notes i wrote to myself as i played and revised as i tested various things and restarted due to mistakes) looks like. at some point when i become a real gamer i will write a legible guide meant for eyes to look at but uhhh this is how i play this accursed game personally

i’m not sure if anything i wrote will make any sense since i wrote it as notes to myself so probably definitely use fogu and fc2 jonason wiki (may not work but some pages should be archived) instead

ALSO if you’ve never played or barely played the game it won’t make sense at all! hmds was my first harvest moon so i am used to various horrors!

my play style is probably not fun in general HOWEVER if you are a grinding hell goblin like me then it’s GREAT!!!! if not you may still find it amusing that the game gives you permission to play like this

(it’s a great background task game while doing like productive stuff but otherwise playing this way would probably be unbearable)

anyway after that the days go a lot faster, you’ll get the island on summer 1, so on spring 30 i put all my money into million G tickets and sell 200 of em, do the 5x money thing, and save the rest. so when thomas comes the next day to sell you the 900 million G island you can just sell 180 tickets and do the 5x money thing again with like ~600 million G tickets left over. it takes up inventory but you’ll get the shelf in a few days. basically you just need to remember to order from the TV shopping every saturday and place orders with gotz and gray whenever they finish stuff.

random tips

after unlocking the fuckass hot spring sprites (the ones that require you to spend a total of 700 1 hour sessions in the hot springs) i usually grind grazing points— if you put your animals outside for 5 hours you get a “Love Point”, but if you interact with them after they earn that LP then the timer switches over and you can get another LP after 5 more hours. if you wear the time ring the whole time it’s 2.5 hours. i’m not very good at explaining this but basically if you’re super efficient you can get way more animal LP than you realistically should, which is great because the touch glove petting minigame is Bad!!!!

i usually wait on getting the rest of the purple sprites (the ones that require you to hire the purple team and ask for healing) until i’m totally done with the indigo team, cuz i wanna get HG’s purple heart event asap, but you can switch the order if you want

by summer y1 you’ll basically have a feel for everything. aside from Skye, Leia, HG and WP everyone can be married early-mid autumn if you want

if you want to Gay (in the japanese version only) keira is the quickest to marry. leia is the quickest to max affection but it’s impossible to get leia year 1 because the bottle you need to fish up can only be caught in spring. you have to wait until at least year 5 for WP and iirc year 6 for HG.

My parents actually own a tiny little pizza restaurant in my hometown! So I grew up with very busy parents, but my dad irl is honestly fucking amazing and my best childhood memories are with him. And I kinda take inspiration from my own childhood and like, the bond Charlie and Henry probably had :’0 I adore them. Fast forwards to the late 70s, Clara is just overrrrr the life of a mom and being in a loveless marriage with William. I headcanon that they had another kid (probs Elizabeth) to help “save their marriage” (HORRIBLE IDEA!!). It didn’t lol! But oops she accidentally ended up getting pregnant with Evan/CC/whatever his name is. And she was just over it. Depression, all that stuff. She ends up having an affair, and William finds out and blah blah blahhhhh. They get hashtag divorced. The two younger ones are too little to truly understand what’s going on, but Mike (probably like 11 or 12-ish??? When they divorce? Idk) is hit extremely hard. Hi! I think Linda (a gem) and Paul were both queer, she 100% knew about his romance with John and was totally fine with it (as opposed to Yoko who sent John to conversation therapy - yep).

I think Paul more or less needed a beard or bestie to marry bc he was bi - he wasn't happy in a straight4straight style relationship where he had to be closeted or couldn't entirely be himself or trust his partner w that part of him (Jane Asher). He cheated on Jane constantly and loved having a partner who was never around (Jane had her own career and life). Hmmm. He didn't actually want to be with her and was a jerk.

But in the end because of Beatles Fame he had to marry ("what do you think I am a 26 yo queer never to marry?" lol yes Paul). His partner HAD to be a woman (1960s cishet hegemony) bc he HAD to marry a woman.

Finding chill single mom Linda must've been a godsend to him.

Linda was totally cool with Paul writing like 87 love songs for John and even sung back up on them and took part in absolutely hilarious music vids for them (see Coming Up). Paul loved that she was "already a woman" (umm gay) and had a kid when they met so he didn't need to prove himself to her or the public. He also comments a lot on how he loved that Linda didn't have to dress up femme and didn't care about fashion etc. She was her own person and didn't ascribe to any societal instruction on femininity. She was a free thinker, a motherless artist, a single parent, and unconventially beautiful (a Type?).

He got to have the fam he badly wanted but got to have a wife who was also his friend and respected his identity. He was essentially Julian's other dad, but couldn't fully embrace that role in public. He wanted to be a father and have a family - and the pain queer ppl go through makes me so mad.

Paul often speaks of he and Linda's relationship being "tumultuous" and not the picture ideal people make it out to be. I think they had a lot of issues and problems & even probably considered divorcing several times (or not marrying altogether aka the fight before their wedding night). But I think they lasted so long because Paul badly wanted to marry A FRIEND who wouldn't judge him or the things he wanted/needed out of life and marrying a queer open-hearted 60s hippie Linda was the perfect fit. She obviously wanted the same thing. They got each other, and when they had hard times they focused (as theyve said) on what they built together and their family over their individual issues.

His song for her, "Maybe I'm Amazed" is an ICONIC love song directed at a woman who saved him, who understands him, a free-spirited woman in a very narrowminded world that he never expected to find. It is a Thank You song.

I'm not saying his relationship with Linda was a "beard" situation but I'm also not saying it isn't IN THE SENSE THAT queer people (and bi ppl in this specific sense) at that time period had to be very selective in order to have a happy marriage in a very hostile cishet world. I think he loved her & she understood the kind of love he gave her and loved him in her way back.

I think Paul found someone who got that and they stuck together, contented with that safety. A home base, trusted.

To make an alliance like that with someone who generally wanted what was best for him and forged a family with him and had her own strong voice and opinions and presence? obligatory shoutout to the boys of my FAVORITE BL OF ALL TIME ok so like as far as bl goes neon sign amber is really not the most unique thing, i would say. but that's what makes it so perfect to me

i feel like a lot of outstanding bl are great in ways that are 'atypical' for bl, like how saezuru is bl, sure, but also comes with a genuinely gripping gritty yakuza plot. and many others that are highly praised tend to be praised by people going "oh this is good because it's not like TYPICAL bl" which i have feelings about but let's not get into that here

neon sign amber is my favorite because it is very much a typical bl, it has a lot of the typical tropes (guy who's been historically straight but is "gay for you" for example)

i don't necessarily love any of those tropes, but i adore what neon sign amber does with them. it is practically a cookie cutter bl, but its characters (despite existing for only one volume of a manga) live in my heart forever. it takes that "gay for you" trope and doesn't gloss over the problems that could arise in a relationship like that, instead actually addressing them in a way i found satisfying

saya especially is one of my guys of all time, and given that they're kind of obviously aokise i'm lumping them in here too. mwah

the writing in tokyo ghoul is genuinely just so good to me. the main plot is fantastic but what really makes it is the relationships between characters, both romantic and not

This short comic was my comic project for my art class in my junior year, so it’s also from May 2022, and my teacher absolutely loved this comic. It was assigned to us to understand the concepts of comic creation. Creative panels, speech bubbles, spacing, action lines, and story. Originally, there were only 3 options for the project, which I can’t really remember, but an original story like this wasn’t allowed because of students who previously had chosen that and couldn’t think of any, so I spent every other class that day writing the script and the panel descriptions and I showed it to him, and he was impressed with out much work I put into it and allowed me to go ahead with it. The comic cover was my personal choice, but I saved creating that for last because I knew I’d get ahead of myself and probably not finish the actual comic in time otherwise.

Anyway, here’s the story of the comic. Zayn, Nitro, and Max are sitting on the couch in their apartment with their two kids, Zena and Angel. This takes place 13 years after the initial starting point of the Electric Blades comic. Pages 2-5 are about the actual first time that Zayn and Nitro met, which was 1 week before the initial start of Electric Blades (aka, move in day). Zayn won 10 fights in a row that night, but then nobody else wanted to go against him. He did this all without his power too, which makes it even more impressive because of his size. Nitro steps up to the ring, and they agree to fight powerless, and then the fight commences. I really wanted to do parts of the actual fight scene, but I wouldn’t have had enough time for that sadly, so I settled with the lead up to the fight and one panel that previews what happened during it. After the flashback, they get back to how Max met them, which is from their roommate at the time, Tobias. (The part of the story where Zayn and Nitro move out has changed since then).

I’m also gonna add that my high school art teacher is gay and married so that might also be part of why he liked this comic, which in and of itself was probably a risk for me to have drawn: gay poly relationship with two kids and also ass being said but censored. Not like my teacher would’ve cared, but the district might have. That’s why he’s cool.

101 Dalmatians, the live action version. i remember loving it when i was a kid because Dalmatians and i love dogs, and with all the live action remakes Disney has made (the wave in remakes seem to have started with Cinderella but 101 Dalmatians was actually one of the first in the 90s i believe) so i decided to give it a rewatch this week because i could...also because i love Disney and wanted to watch a Disney movie (disclaimer: just because i do love Disney does not mean i agree with everything Disney has said/done, that i do not like all of their movies, and i am still mad at them for not giving us anywhere near enough gay).

It was definitely not as good as i remember it. Some parts i remembered clearer than others and some were funny. The animals in the barn going after Cruella, for one thing. And, as suspected, the puppies were a highlight. One of my favorite scenes was still after the puppies were born, they had been watching a scene from The Aristocats followed by Homeward Bound and then they were given their collars with their names. Not all were the same as the animated movie, and i'm not sure how many of the names from the original book were for the 15 puppies versus how many of the names were for the other puppies they found later. i think my favorite part about though, specifically, was how the spots on each individual Dalmatian can play a part in their names (the tail of Dipstick's tail being black, the spots around Jewel's neck resembling a necklace, for example, also similar to how Lucky's spots in the animated version on his back resemble a horseshoe) and that's what i always loved about Dalmatians; that no two spots on every dog are alike and that they're all so unique. The fact that they incorporated the video game into the movie and you could actually see some scenes and graphics from it definitely brought me back, i loved that game so much. And, obviously, Glenn Close was AMAZING. She gave everything she had into playing Cruella and made her completely believable. She sold every scene and was probably the closest thing we'd get to an embodiment of a real life Cruella DeVil. i wouldn't quite compare her to Angelina Jolie playing Maleficent because while both are classic, evil, and perhaps two of the worst (aka best) Disney villains in existence they are still very different. But as far as that statement goes, i was never a fan of the Maleficent movies (if one happens to be on i might put it on in the background but they'd be far from my first choices to actually watch) and while i'm not as much a fan of the live action 101 Dalmatians as i once was, credit where credit is due - these women portraying these villains are absolutely FABULOUS.

The rest of the cast of the movie was so meh to me. Roger and Anita were two completely different people and, while i believe the take of Anita working for Cruella and enjoyed the idea of Perdi being the inspiration for the spotted coat, i don't like the other changes. Especially the way in which the two of them met. Pongo pulling Roger on his bike desperate trying to look for/catch up to Anita and Perdita lasted WAY too long and it felt more like something directed at little kids where they could laugh at the dog pulling Roger and getting him hurt and into all other sorts of trouble (i mean, yeah, it's Disney so it is directed for kids but there were so many other things they could have done). While in the animated movie i don't believe it's explicitly stated how long they're together before they're married the meeting was far more enjoyable and cute. The live action movie felt like it went from 100 down to 5 so quickly; they started so angry at each other but as Roger's leaving he's all "but it's not because i like her" and that night it's not only revealed they basically made out after he saved her but he also wanted to marry her that day? That's not how it works (and not just because this is pre-Frozen with the whole "you can't marry someone you just met"). Not to mention Anita's pregnancy. That went completely over my head as a kid (understandably so) but watching it now i'm not sure what bothers me more. That they find out in the first month (which, in current times does make sense but should they even be announcing it?), or that it feels completely unnecessary. (Or maybe it's just my personal awkward feelings, i don't know.) i also wasn't a fan of Horace and Jasper. i'm not sure if it was the characters or the way they were written or just the actors playing them or maybe it was the chemistry between the two but...they were NOTHING like their animated counterparts. And the electrocution scene...ok yeah it's funny, they tried and failed to go over the electric fans and got their crotches shocked badly. But as an adult i could totally see that coming and it lasted for too long, taking the full humor out of it.

i have a LOT of feelings about Disney doing all these live action remakes. Some of them feel completely unnecessary (Jungle Book, Lion King, Lilo and Stitch, Robin Hood to name a few). Some of them turned out ok and are decent movies if you don't compare them to the animated movie (Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin). The only movie i thoroughly enjoyed as a live action remake was The Little Mermaid (save for Scuttle's rap and Flounder's design primarily). As to where 101 Dalmatians sits on that list, for me at least, it's one of those movies that is easily pictured as a live action movie. It can be done and it makes sense. But did they do a good job of it? No. I almost wonder if, it had been remade now, how different it would be and if it'd be remotely more enjoyable. But it doesn't need to be nor do the animated movies keep needing to be rehashed into live action - especially when some of them are more computer animated to look realistic than ACTUAL live action. Even so, if we got 101 Dalmatians now we wouldn't have Glenn Close as Cruella. She, along with the actual Dalmatians, are the only saving graces of this movie.

So general info/concept: “Tatort” means crime scene and it’s this very culturally significant crime show that’s on every Sunday since like the 70s. There’s different teams/inspectors from different cities and the cities take turns airing new episodes. Tatort Münster therefore is the Tatort that takes place in Münster. Now the general concept of these episodes is 1-4 inspectors (the same ones each time for each individual city) solve the murder of the day, episode contained plot every time. The different teams/cities vary in the way they present this, some more exciting, some more funny, some more philosophical and ethically complex, etc you get it.

Now. Since this has been running since the 70s there’s a relatively prevalent theme of the “team” being two male inspectors/friends and everyone else being kind of a side character (this is changing slowly luckily). This makes it so that most of those Tatort teams are… kinda gay tbh (hey comparing two men to a married couple as a joke used to be and still is peak funny to the middle aged to older people watching this show so…) there’s not that many young people who watch Tatort but the ones who do and are on here eat that shit up ofc (:

I watch Tatort Münster, Tatort Saarbrücken and Tatort Berlin aka the gayest ones

Berlin is easy, canon bi inspector, he’s fabulous he’s iconic he’s competent we love him

Saarbrücken (also called Spatort you might have seen me post about it) is… a lot to explain. Basically this isn’t a Tatort but a hugely complex dramatic show about the two inspectors and their crazy backstory and kinda toxic relationship, they’re in love with each other (so much so that in this one we’re genuinely not sure if that’s not just what’s actually canonically happening) it’s a whole thing. Also the two women in the team are in love too <3 Tatort Saarbrücken is really a phenomenon. Because the city is not that big they only get one new episode a year (go figure what that does to our sanity) and every year when the new episode airs, without fail, we go crazy enough to get a random German crime show to #1 trending on tumblr

Tatort Münster, the one I’ve been going crazy over since the new episode that aired yesterday, is I’d say the most popular Tatort overall (which is why they luckily get 3-4 episodes a year). It’s one of the more funny ones and is basically a buddy comedy about the inspector (Thiel) and the forensic scientist (Prof. Dr. Dr. Boerne), his best friend who he is perpetually annoyed with and also in love with. There’s really a lot to their characters but I’ll try to keep it short. Thiel: likes soccer, pizza and beer, has kind of a dry humour and is really funny, is the cutest sweetest most adorable and most of the time nicest person ever, I love him can you tell. Boerne: dramatic, diva, arrogant, way too into himself, kind of an asshole sometimes, can not apologise or admit he’s wrong ever, fabulous, funny, iconic, I love him soo much no actually genuinely he’s so perfect. Their deal is that they are perpetually annoyed by each other and are constantly bickering and are also each other’s best and only real friend and could not live without the other and are also soulmates and when they’re not bickering (and also while they’re bickering) they like to spend their time flirting and staring fondly at each other and they have also saved each other’s life a thousand times. Oh also they live in the same house literally across from each other and almost every episode they have date nights where one of them cooks for the other and they drink wine while pressed unnecessarily close in the couch and one of them usually ends up spending the night at the other’s place even though they live literally 3m apart. And also this Tatort is addicted to putting these two in every fanfic trope situation ever, we’ve had only one bed 2,5 times, locked in a closed room for hours with nothing to do other than talk to each other idk how many times, so much miscommunication (usually Boerne’s fault) and so much more god I’m just noticing again how fucking insane this is (esp for being the one the boomers watch the most).

Anyways the last few episodes (except the second to last one imo) have been kinda mid, but this last one yesterday was SO GOOD and SO GAY that we all can’t quite believe it.

About using it to learn German, I think that kind of depends on your skill level. Watching German shows is definitely a good idea in general but there’s a few things to know. If you watch it in the ARD Mediathek (the tv vod website, don’t know if it’s region locked but I feel like it shouldn’t be) there are no English subtitles but German ones should be available (I think some people have made English subs but I’d have to see where to find them) and depending on the team they speak their dialect more or less strongly. So I guess you just have to try it to know if it works for you (:

I'm only a fan in certain ways lol so this may have more of an emphasis on their relationship flaws and toxicity than another fan's list, but it's still shippy, and I aimed for a decent balance.

Ain't Love Grand: Hawk/BJ as the successful "couple" despite their surface differences paralleled/contrasted with two genuinely incompatible couples.

The Joker Is Wild: Trapper complex, top/bottom jokes, pigtail pulling perhaps, the fucked up weirdness that makes them compelling.

Peace on Us: The red party, aka BJ at his most supportive.

Period of Adjustment: Well it's my shippiest episode lol. BJ's insecurity about being Trapper's replacement paralleled to his insecurity about being replaceable to his family (ie how easily his daughter confused Radar for him) is nicely homoerotic, and I love the more toxic aspects of their relationship which this episode clearly focuses on.

Where There's a Will, There's a War: BJ fretting about Hawkeye, Hawkeye having difficulty coming up with something to leave BJ that symbolizes what BJ means to him, and the nicely homoerotic ending, ie BJ half wakes up and sees Hawkeye and says "remind me to give you a kiss in the morning" because he's been worried about him all day and he's glad to see him, but Hawkeye assumes he's dreaming about his wife and this assumption leads to his revelation about what to leave BJ in his will, prioritizing BJ's family. It's a disconnect between them that feels very homoerotic to me at this point in the story. BJ focusing solely on Hawkeye and Hawkeye mistaking it for his obsession with his wife and kid... good suff.

Oh How We Danced: Opening with a joke about Hawkeye standing in for Peg for BJ's anniversary, ending with someone else literally standing in for Peg while Hawkeye watches from the sidelines after giving him the most thoughtful anniversary present anyone's ever given anyone ever.

GFA: Their relationship is the most prominent with the final climactic goodbye, it's largely about their issues but in a way that's fun because again, I'm all about the flaws wrt shipping them. BJ doesn't want to admit he'll probably never see Hawkeye again, gets weird when he's drunk at the goodbye party and telling a joking story about cheating on his wife. Intriguing stuff. ETA whoops I missed that you also said discounting the last. Oh well, pretend Comrades in Arms is my choice here then I guess.

Hanky Panky: Because I feel like it serves as a good gay explanation for why BJ doesn't support Hawkeye emotionally very much if you want a nicer and homoerotic explanation for that, ie last time he was someone's shoulder to lean on he cheated on his wife. Plus a couple of gay jokes, and a neat parallel wrt BJ asking Donovan to open up to him and Hawkeye asking BJ to open up to him.

The Yalu Brick Road: Hawkeye makes a good joke comparing the North Korean who surrendered to an old girlfriend's sibling who tagged along with them and killed the mood, plus in general they've got a comfortable bickery married couple vibe here.

Rally Round the Flagg, Boys: BJ being a condescending dick about how he's so much more cool and rational than Hawkeye, and proving himself hypocritical by saving Hawkeye from an angry patient at the end more violently than necessary.

Bonus: The Grim Reaper for being the very first episode that made me start shipping them because it's one of BJ's first condescending dick episodes lol; Comrades in Arms for BJ fretting about Hawkeye; The Kids for Hawkeye's first sappy very loving look at BJ when he tells the story to the orphans... probably others where they seem happy and married-couple-esque together but I don't have a good memory for those.

Okay. BJ/Hawkeye fans only. This is a very serious research question which I will very much need an answer to fairly soon.
