On my home, we had an organism: The World Root. It connected all life on Kwejian. Wherever we lived, whatever village or continent, it reminded us we were all on the same planet. Our fates are always interconnected. Maybe that’s the lesson, if there is one - that is true of all of us. We’ve lost so many, you and me, but we can’t do harm in their names or memories.
