Rera's got a sister who's sixteen years younger than her, because they're siblings, they look alike (obviously). Because they look alike and have a significant age difference, some people assume they're mother and daughter.

It's not uncommon for someone to ask Rera if Sango is hers and for her to respond, "Of course? She looks just like me when I was her age??"

When Rera is stressed or has time off, she enjoys travelling. And she tends to get surprisingly far. It's nice to be away from things, to blend into a crowd of people who don't know her or just spend time in the wilderness, camping and not speaking to anyone for a while. It's peaceful. It's uncomplicated. It's as far away from homework she has to grade as she possibly can be.

Her favourite place is the Land of Hot Water, or just anywhere with a hot spring, really. But if she can only get a few hours to herself, just anywhere secluded with a good book is great, too.
