Bringing attention to this campaign again

I have previously written posts [1, 2] for @aburakhiaibrahim and his family's campaign. Since the first post from over a month ago (25 Oct), they campaign has only raised an additional $1686 CAD. As of now, the campaign is at $7801 CAD / $30,000. Donations are slow, with only 1 donation in the past 24 hours from 9 hours ago and only 8 donations in the last 5 days.

Just to add pertinent information about this campaign, this is for the daily needs of a family comprised of 28 people, 15 of whom are children. His mother also has hypertension and diabetes. With food, medicine, and other basic needs being exorbitantly expensive, they need donations to come in faster.

All of the above happened to us from the IDF and we lost our dreams, money and business equipment💔

Have you ever loved someone and wanted to live a perfect life with her or him but fate had another opinion for both of you?

Us? War has prepared a surprising plan for us💔

We are Hadeel and Abdelrahman, two gazan couple who, just like many others, dreamed of building a better life. For years, we poured our hearts and souls into our company, dreaming of a future full of possibility, independence, and success. But in an instant, everything was destroyed.

One phosphorus bomb took it all. Our tent, our belongings, our dreams—all turned to ashes.

But what hurt the most was not the loss of things, but the loss of our future.

While fleeing for our lives, we had to choose between saving our loved ones or saving our work. I chose my sister. And as I ran, I looked back at the burning remnants of everything we had worked for. My heart shattered.

Now, we find ourselves rebuilding—not just our company, but our lives. The war took so much from us, but it hasn't taken our will to fight back. We decided to share our story through YouTube, showing the world what life is like in Gaza, and how we are trying to rise from the ashes.

I don’t know if you’ve been following the news, but there are currently agreements for a ceasefire. This is the best news the people of Gaza could hear in the past 15 months.. Finally, the war will stop, and there’s no more killing or destruction.

But I don’t know where they’ll go from here. Islam, has lost everything. His entire house has been reduced to rubble and dust. His work is gone. A year and a half of his life have been wiped away.

His mother is battling cancer and needs treatment, but there are no hospitals in Gaza, no medication, and they don’t even have the money to leave Gaza for treatment.

The war might be ending, but there’s a different kind of suffering the people of Gaza are enduring, a suffering that won’t end unless we all come together to help them.

I would like to bring your attention to two fundraisers that are near and dear to my heart.

@elhamhamdan-gaza is a young woman trying to survive in Gaza with her family. She was a top student at university until October 2023, when she and her family were displaced from their home in Khan Younis and forced to flee to Rafah. After the invasion in Rafah, they returned to their home in Khan Younis only to find it burned. They had no choice but to live in it. Elham and her family desperately need funds for blankets and clothes, because winter is here and nights in Gaza are very cold right now.

Elham's campaign is very low on funds! So far they have only been able to raise £594 and they desperately need more support. Please donate to them if you are able, and share this post and campaign with as many people as you can.

Secondly, @drdarine is a young woman who is a medical student in Gaza. Despite being displaced and suffering hardships we can only imagine, Darine is continuing her studies and helping out others in the refugee camps and shelters in southern Gaza. Her family consists of seven people, one of them being my friend @dawoudi who is selflessly and unfailingly helping many other families in Gaza by verifying their fundraisers and promoting them on Tumblr. Everyday I see more campaigns added that he has verified, providing an important service to the many families in Gaza that need our help.

Darine's family has been fundraising since February, which is almost ten months! Despite that, they have only been able to raise $5,765, 19% of their goal. Progress on their campaign is extremely slow, often needing to wait multiple days for another donation to come in. We can do better than that.

STAGNANT CAMPAIGN: Help Sajida and her family evacuate

Sajida's campaign was previously shared by Sara (@/bsonblast) and is one of the vetted fundraisers listed on the Sudan Funds website.

This January, Sajida will have been fundraising for an entire year. She and her family should have already met their goal by now, but her campaign has repeatedly fallen into long periods of stagnation.

Sajida is responsible for her younger siblings and their mother. She started this fundraiser to help afford food and evacuation costs for them, but with the repeated stagnation there have been periods where the family was unable to afford even the most basic necessities.

With the inflated cost of goods in Sudan, Sajida's younger brothers have literally been working themselves sick trying to help their family scrape by. This was not the life Sajida wanted them to have. She wants nothing more than to preserve their childhood and provide them with a safe future, where they will have access to an education and the ability to pursue their dreams.

Most of what Sajida has been able to raise has been spent on essential items. Her family urgently needs help to continue to afford goods and be able to evacuate. It's been a year and the goal of $50k is long overdue. Please donate and share.

Ahmed's family's campaign has raised €976/€20,000. Ahmed is displaced in southern Gaza caring for his father and brothers while his wife is alone in the north with their fifteen-month-old daughter, Najah, under constant bombardment. They have lost a child before and live in anxiety and fear of never seeing one another again. Just a few days ago, Ahmed's encampment was bombed, and last night he received news their home in the north was destroyed. Any donations help support safe passage so the family can reunite. Eman's family's campaign has raised $1,305/$5,000. Eman is a science teacher and mother of five children; Nada (11), Rahaf (8), Sarah (5), Sham (3), and Zeina (9 months). They are struggling to find clean drinking water, survive the harsh climate, endure sickness, and are surviving on canned food. All donations are used to support their basic survival. Shaima's family's campaign has raised $2,179/$30,000. Shaima is a mother of four (Magdy, Walid, Abdel Rahim, and Amal) currently separated from her husband, who was across the border at the time of Israel's attack on Gaza. They have been displaced six times and are in desperate need to evacuate to Egypt to reunite and escape the genocide. Any funds will help secure their safety. Mahmoud's family's campaign has raised $4,035/$40,000. While Mahmoud was able to evacuate to Egypt, his sister, Soha, her husband, Hassan, and their four children (Ahed, Mohammed, Majd, and Karim) are still in Gaza.
