Fucking great, Jungkook has to guard another prissy little girl who has never faced any kind of troubles in her entire life. Some rich bitch who doesn't even need a bodyguard and yet here he is, practically wasting his time.

This wasn't his first rodeo, though he was at the young age of 26, he's seen a lot of shit. A lot of annoying, prissy, useless, and rage inducing girls who always try to have their way with him. He's never given in though, not very hard to do when they're all, well, girls.

Jungkook nearly dreaded when your father finally led him to your room. He desperately wanted to leave and quit this job forever, but it would be a waste of all the training he has had to endure over the years, so he stayed his ground, expecting the worst.

As the door opened, Jungkook was greeted by an enormous room full of personality. The walls were covered in various posters, stuffed animals and dolls littered the room. It was a little different than the rooms he'd been in before, but that doesn't mean anything. You're probably just as spoiled as all the other girls he's had to guard.

He completely forgot what your name was, the person whose life is technically supposed to be in his hands, and he was so caught up in dreading seeing you that he didn't take the time to see what your name even was. Fuck did he hate this job.

"It's y/n." You stated coldly, already questioning this man's competence. "And yours?"

"My what?" He questioned back.

"Your name dip shit." You answered, not having it right now.

Jungkook was taken back, people never ask what his name is, though you could've been a little nicer about it.

"It's Jungkook, Jeon Jungkook." He replied, a smile making its way on his face.

"You also didn't even know my gender, god you suck at this." You stated flatly, not impressed by whatsoever.

His smile was crushed, your words feeling like poison each time you talk.

"You really are like all the other rich bitches I've had to deal with." Jungkook complained, growing tired of your behavior.

"You don't even know me." You exclaimed, growing equally tired of him.

"I know enough." He stated coldly before leaving your room, leaving you to stare daggers at the door.

That was your guy's impression of each other, minor disdain. He hated how you seemed like every other shit head he's had to deal with, and you hated him because he just assumes shit about you, he also kind of sucks at his job, where did your dad even find this guy.

Though you both kind of hated each other, he had to be around you. All. The. Time. No matter where you were, eating, in the bathroom, even sleeping, he was right there or just right outside the door. You both haven't said a word to each other since your first meeting, and you both hope to keep it that way.

"Why do you hate me?" You asked flatly while eating your dinner, finally breaking the weeks-long silence between the two of you. Also no one else was there so this seemed like the best moment.

"Why does it matter to you?" He questioned right back, hoping to prolong the silence.

"Because I don't want the person who's supposed to save my life to dislike me, but more importantly I feel like you have no reason to dislike me the way you do." You responded, arms crossed over your chest.

"No reason! I have every reason to hate you! The moment I got here you greeted me with disrespect! Your so fucking stand offish and it's clear that you have no idea what the real world is like, able to be in your fucking mansion and eat your fucking food while I'm in a job that I hate, having to be around clueless people I hate, like you!" He shouted at you, every word hitting like a bullet.

You just stood there in silence watching each other, tears daring to come out of your eyes. He stares at you heavily breathing, too angry to realize your sad state.

"You don't know anything about me." Was all you said before the tears fell down your face like a waterfall. You stormed out of the dining hall and into your room, leaving Jungkook standing there alone, feeling like an idiot, which he was.

He finally got the courage to walk up to your room. Knocking on the door to see if you're okay. Hearing nothing but your sobs, he took the liberty of opening the door. He was greeted with the sight of you sitting on your bed, curled up and crying into your legs.

"Go away, it's not like you actually care about me." You ordered, not wanting to see the face of the man that made you an emotional wreck.

Jungkook just stood there, so he just sat next to you and awkwardly patted your back.

"I-i'm sorry I said those things, it wasn't fair, I really don't know anything about you, except that you're pretty when you cry." He said with that charming smile, causing you to laugh.

"I'm always pretty." You replied, wiping the tears from your face.

"Can't argue with that." He said, causing you to laugh more.

Since that interaction, things between the two of you have been lovely. There was no ill will anymore and you might even say the two of you were friends.

"Why do you always just stand there and watch me eat, sit down, there's plenty." You ordered, Jungkook was taken back by this act of kindness, though it wasn't a big deal, it surely felt like it was. He took the seat right next to you and started to dig in.

"When do you eat anyways?" You asked.

"When you go to your room, or when there's off time." He answered.

"Well, you're always welcome to eat here with me." You stated. "Do you have any hobbies; it seems like you're always just around me?" You asked another question. Finally wondering what he does when not around you.

"Mostly work out." He answered quickly, enamored by the taste of the food.

"I can see that." You said, but then suddenly stunned with your own words. Jungkook almost chokes on his food, also surprised by your flattery.

"I-i mean y-you're like objectively built." You stuttered, digging your own grave deeper and deeper. He starts laughing at your nervousness.

"Thank you. I try." He said, the rest of the dinner goes smoothly, though your words still hang in the air.

Once you both finish the meal, you two walk to your room, talking along the way.

"Wanna come in?" You offered when you got to the door of your bedroom.

"I'd love to." He eagerly answered, a little too eager.

You both take a seat on your large bed. You lay on the pillows while Jungkook awkwardly sits on the edge. He looks around the room, never actually getting a very detailed look. It's incredibly big, almost the size of an apartment. There's even a balcony that leads to a gorgeous view of the ocean, looking especially incredible because of the sunset.

He gets up to get a closer look at it, making his way to the balcony. You realize this and get up to chase after him.

"Pretty great huh?" You ask rhetorically, already knowing the answer. He just nods in agreement, totally dumbfounded by the amazing view. The way the water reflects all of the colors makes it all the more vibrant. The pinks, reds, oranges, and yellows mix together beautifully. This has to be the most wonderful sight of his life, almost magical. Though he's pulled away by the sight of you.

Your equal fascination with the view that you've had to have seen so many times before is enchanting. The way your face lights up and how your hair is carried in the wind is to the sunset like the Mona Lisa to a child's macaroni art. Finally, he realizes that all other beauty in the world is utterly and totally dwarfed by yours.

1. Shadow of the Tomb Raider

The seemingly invincible and endlessly talented Lara Croft goes on yet another adventure, this time exploring the Amazon jungle and South American ruins looking for a magical artifact hoping to prevent her enemies, an evil organisation called Trinity, from using it.

Tomb Raider is a franchise that has changed quite a bit over the years. Ever since the reboot, Lara has become a fully fledge character and she doesn't do rock climbing in a skimpy outfit anymore (which made the boys mad, boohoo).

But sadly she still suffers from her reputation of sexy girly indiana jones which I suspect is why women don't seem that interested in her. Shame!

It's not usually the type of games I like (very over the top "blockbustery") but I got hooked the minute I set foot (or rather crashed) in the Peruvian jungle. The game is visually stunning, I loved exploring all the ancient temples, the crypts, the jungle and seeing all the animals. The puzzles were challenging, the fights were fun, it was entertaining, well made, with lots of female characters and it takes place in Peru which is just the cherry on top for me.

The only thing I didn't like was Jonah but then I never liked him. He's Lara's best friend and is pretty much there to be kidnapped and rescued in every game, which is kind of a nice reversed damsel in distress trope I suppose, but still, you're useless Jonah I kept telling my screen.

2. Alien Isolation

In this game you play as Ellen Ripley's daughter who ends up trapped in a gigantic spaceship with a lethal enemy, of course, the infamous alien: the xenomorph.

This game is perfect if you are currently suffering from constipation. It doesn't rely on cheap jumpscares and gore to scare you no, it's all about the ~ambiance~. If you are found, you are dead, simple as. And you will die... A LOT. I got an achievement for dying 50 times. I was laughing hysterically whenever the alien caught me by that point and I think the alien was too.

They say "in space no one can hear you scream" but this alien can hear your footsteps so this makes for some tense gameplay, especially as the alien's AI is very good and you are extremely vulnerable. To survive you will have to be very mindful of the noises you make and the noises the alien makes. Oh yeah, you both crawl through the same ventilation system by the way. This could make for some awkward encounter... On top of having to deal with the alien you will meet androids and humans who aren't exactly friendly either. The goal is, of course, to escape from the ship alive.

I have to give the developpers props for really making us feel like we are in an Alien movie. The music, the ship's design, the alien itself, are all very faithfull to the movies and this game is rightly considered a classic.

3. Spiritfarer

In Spiritfarer you play as Stella (and her cat) who has become the captain of a boat on which she welcomes the spirits of different people who have died. She will accompany them for a while until it's time to cross the bridge and say farewell.

It's worth mentionning, given how rare it is, that the main character is a black girl. Your job is to manage the boat (make improvements to it) and become self-sustainable: you will grow your own food, build houses for each spirit and decorate it, grow trees, collect wood, fish, feed your guests. You can make a mill, a weaving workshop, a sawmill, a kitchen, a garden, etc and arrange it as you please.

Most importantly, you will travel the sea to meet new spirits, learn about their lives and fullfill their last wishes before they are ready to leave us. And then you will cry and cry and cry as the music rises and you give them one last hug.

It's a cosy game, slow paced, lots of dialogues, cute mini-games within it, and at times really funny interactions because it all looks so cute yet the characters act and talk like normal people (they told me to fuck off quite a lot) and they will often get into unprompted anti-capitalist rants. It reminded me of Spirited Away a lot, very strange and comfy at the same time.

It's a story about death, about how each person handles it, what they look back on, and yet it's a very pleasant game.

Shit this is really hard because I usually gotta ask follow up questions before giving specified advice.

But I'm a misogyny experiencing person in the tech fields. So I'll try.

First of all. Is your partner a person that experiences misogyny or a person of color? (I use "person that experiences misogyny because trans-men or enbies that are AFAB that don't medically transition can experience sexism in the field.)

Another trait I have that I say "gives me experience in the struggles of the field" is I've been unemployed for over a year twice. (Not by choice).

Gaps in your resume, anything in your resume that can indicate you're a person that experiences misogyny, or anything that can give away that you're a person of color will make it harder for your partner.

You can apply to large companies if you want, but don't get your hopes up. Large companies get thousands of applicants and rely on AI to filter resumes. Unfortunately AI is racist and sexist. Because it was trained by people with an unconscious bias. Small companies around 100 employees is literally how I keep finding my jobs.

Go to career fairs. My resume wasn't that great, but I knew I was smart enough to get the job if I could get them to just meet me. Which sucked because I never got an interview. One employer met me, and I guess I said something right because he put a big ole star on my resume and I was put on top of the applicants list.

Use Christian resources. "But fae. I'm not Christian." Yeah. It was really fucking weird for a long time to constantly be told like "I'm so glad we're if the same beliefs. This is a Christian company." But like... companies that want to keep is "in-house" so to speak will only send job descriptions to Christian resources. And honestly I've seen near no competition at these places for jobs.

I'm not saying lie or exaggerate on your resume. I'm saying floof on your resume. Instead of "developed the website". Maybe think "Hey. I realize I was the primary person working on the website, and the person everyone went to for help." BAM. Put "lead web developer" on the job description (not job title).

Look at the type of job the description is asking for. If they're a company that contracts their employees time. You want to focus your job description on how much time you saved and money you made fit the company. If they build products. You want to focus on your skill sets.

POST YOUR RESUME EVERYWHERE. Put it up on indeed. LinkedIn. Monster. Everywhere. Check the box that says you're looking for a job. Make it visible. Many companies don't want to go through the hiring process and will pay a contractor to do the work. Those jobs won't be posted. The contractor will be searching resumes on these sites and making calls.

Have a job already. It makes you look desirable to employers.

If you have gaps in your resume. Pencil it in. You weren't unemployed during that year you were studying for your certification.

Your resume should only be 1 page (longer if you have work experience but no more than 2 pages) and the first third of the first page should have the most important info. A quick blurb about you. Your skills/certifications. Your work experience. If you don't catch their attention by then, your resume will go on the trash.

I see a lot of people put irrelevant information on their resume. You don't want gaps in your resume but they don't need to know about that baby sitter job when you were 16. They don't need to know that you also made the coffee in that job as a web developer. Don't include information that you can't relate to the job.

It never worked out for me but a lot of people suggest using those sites that scan your resume against the job description and it's honestly worth a shot.

Don't let anyone throw a thesaurus at you when they offer to help with your resume. If you have people that help by thesaurusing your words, don't listen to them. Hiring managers and recruiters see through that shit.

I'm currently studying nursing, was at uni for a different course last year (long story short I quit a year in and moved back home) and yeah. There's a girl in my class who is generally shitty to everyone, has cheated on tests, steals peoples answers and wouldn't you know it? Uses chatgpt on every assignment. The rest of us kinda thought we were independently disliking her and making a mountain out of a molehill, till a group of us talked and realised that yeah. She is that shitty.

This girl has the gall to call out answers over the rest of us, is useless in the (very rare) group assignments and generally acts as tho she is better than all of us.

Yet she cannot string together a properly cited paragraph on, say, the importance of practicing ethically, or one on why taking obs is so important.

Other part is, she has a job in disability work. All fine and good, except that she has admitted that she doesn't do right by her clients. Multiple times, she has talked about how her job is "so easy" because she just sits people in front of the telly. WHAT. First week, we were damn told to act ethically and treat people as, hmm I don't know, FUCKING PEOPLE.

Another example, last year I got caught up with some tanky politics students (🤮). One guy was using chatgpt to "summarise" all of the papers he was sposed to read. This was with all of the stuff coming out about how AI hallucinates quite strongly mind, yet when I said to him are you sure you can trust it, his response was that it didn't matter because he wasn't copy-pasting the text it spat out. A week later I watched him do exactly that.

I am currently struggling with my academic progress, I won't lie. But I know that what I read and write is worth its damn salt because I am using sources from other human beings, and using my own damn brain.

Scary part (imo) is that these 2 people, one who will have greater responsibility over vulnerable people's lives (and already [self reportedly] doesn't do that properly) and one who wants power over my country, and last I saw was climbin some rungs, further than most would ever get. How do you as an artist feel about AI generated art? I’ve seen so much of it lately on here and twitter and IG and I feel like it’s a dangerous thing.

Hey nonnie! Thanks for the nice question. Short answer is: no, I'm not worried abt it in the slightest and neither should you💜

Here comes the long answer. Please bear with me and allow me to use some irl examples. Short disclaimer: I'm in no way a market expert or career couch and this is my personal opinion and observations.

When years ago I was entering Foreign Languages faculty, all the internet gurus and influencers were screaming that learning languages as a main occupation is useless and soon machines gonna translate everything for us. Now, much time later, phrases like "did you do it with Google translate" became a swear, derogatory term among translators and related specialities.

Have automated AI translation programs became important part of the workflow now? Indeed, but they didn't manage to steal the work from real people. The results still need heavy proofreading, checking and etc, not even mentioning things like poetry that mostly needs manual translation, and person doing this job still needs to be perfectly fluent in the language. AI still haven't "conquered" the market and pushed human element out, but became an optimization tool.

Now many web designers and clout chasers saying all the artists will be left without work because of AI art, blowing things out of proportion to get more attention (surefire ways to attract people online - fear, hate, lust, cute baby animals).

Some of the AI generated results are pretty impressive. MidJourney kicks absolute butt when it comes to complicated backgrounds, Dall-E 2 perfectly gets all the keywords from request, and there's a new one - based off Octane Render that specifies on realistic lighting - coming out in New Year which I'm extremely excited about.

But the resulting pictures STILL need extra work put on top of them. It may impress people online at the very beginning as a fun toy to test each own's "artistic abilities", but companies and people with taste still would need professionals to work with those AI results same way translation market did. Because those programs cannot trick human eye yet. Our brains still can perceive repetitive patterns in those gorgeous AI backgrounds, and human faces made in My Heritage still have uncanny valley effect because they're eerily symmetrical. Or remember that Twitter drama where anime AI program drew girl with 6 fingers and poor OP didn't notice that?

AI doesn't understand emotions, symbolism, storytelling and many other important art things. Yes, it will generate catchy icons for phone apps like no problem and junior artists in big enterprises like Tencent would have to learn something else. But I don't see AI creating storyboards, comic, movie concepts, complicated portrait paintings/illustrations and animation fully without human involvement any time soon. I don't even mention complicated 3D render with textures for character concepts.

AI makes a wonderful tool to save time or do the work that you don't like to do. So I'd rather try to benefit from it. Here's an example of work made with MidJourney, it was fast and I had tons of fun. IMO the key is staying up-to-date, working on one's unique style, skills and nurturing your visual library - no AI would ever compare to a human mind 😄 sorry if answer was too detailed but I hope you found something useful in it!

I’ve been messing around with AI story generation this last week, partly out of curiosity, and partly to see if I can find particular phrases and paragraphs out in the wild as proof of theft, and yeah.  It’s pretty useless, AND it tends to do shit like this because it doesn’t know you’re hoping for 20k.  It wants to resolve the scene as quickly as possible.

First and foremost, there’s a lot of repetition.  I didn’t get any screencaps of this in action, but particularly dialogue often winds up sounding like this:

Just.  SO much circular writing.  And THEN, the AI only holds a certain amount of text in memory.  So if you’re trying to do anything longform, after a thousand words or so it’s not going to remember what came before -- which not only derails your careful initial exposition, but leads to even more Mojojojo nonsense. 

Some AIs, like NovelAI, give you a reference/worldbuilding section where you can put your notes and character descriptions so that your dark-haired, dark-eyed POV character doesn’t suddenly turn into a blond halfway through the story just because you haven’t had him look in a mirror in a hot minute.  Maybe this helps?  I don’t know, I haven’t had a chance to mess with that.

Then there’s RANDOM AI BULLSHIT.  I wrote a pretty generic leadup to a date between YOI’s Victor and Yuuri, set sometime nonspecific during canon.  Something nice and easy to see what the AI would do with it.  Yuuri is trying to get ready for an evening in a nice restaurant that has a dress code, and he’s in his room Skyping his friend Phichit in a panic because he has no sense of fashion and needs help putting together an outfit.

Here’s what the AI came up with:

1.  Phichit tells him that because he doesn’t have anything suitable to wear on his date, he shouldn’t try dating Victor for MULTIPLE YEARS.

2.  Phichit reaches through the computer screen to pinch Yuuri’s cheek.

3.  Suddenly Victor isn’t living in Yutopia anymore, but has a house, and now the date no longer involves a nice restaurant but Netflix and Chill.

IT GETS BETTER

Starts off strong.  Yuuri is indeed trying to convince himself that this is a “friend date.”  But...

1.  Phichit has teleported to Japan and is rifling through Yuuri’s clothes.

2.  Yuuri’s underwear drawer is apparently so large that Phichit has to swim in it like Scrooge McDuck, his voice muffled by the “piles of satin and lace” that Katsuki Yuuri definitely definitely collects.

3.  BLACK UNDERWEAR WITH A WHITE DOG.  WT(a)F   ... I mean, okay, yeah, it’s Victor Fucking Nikiforov, he probably *would* think that was sexy underwear.  I mean he’d definitely think that ANY underwear would be sexy on Yuuri, including the tighty whities or boxer briefs that we all know he actually wears.  BUT THE AI KNOWS NONE OF THIS, IT PULLED THIS NONSENSE OUT OF ITS ASS, IT IS SHEER COINCIDENCE THAT IT KIND OF WORKS.

And then we get to the actual date itself.  I set the scene: Romantic ambiance.  Candles.  A live pianist.  Excellent food.  A shared dessert.  We are so clearly leading up to a classic romcom Confession.

...AND SCENE.  GOOD JOB EVERYONE, HIT THE SHOWERS.

The story generator does this A.  LOT.  It just skews off in random directions, introduces new characters for no reason, turns the story into omegaverse, or mafia, or vampires.  I didn’t save a screenshot because ew, but I wound up with some ✨SURPRISE BESTIALITY✨ between Victor and Makkachin... only maybe it would be more accurate to call it Surprise Monsterfucking, because the AI gave the dog a line of spoken dialogue so I guess that makes her capable of consent?

There’s a lot of little stuff, too.  You know how in AI art, it’s all in the how-to-spot-a-fae details:  Count the fingers, count the teeth, see if the buttons or other embellishments on the clothing or architecture actually makes sense if you pay attention to it?

Same goes for written AI.  It might look like a decent sex scene if you’re not reading too closely, but positions change from paragraph to paragraph.  Now Yuuri’s blindfolded and tied up, next thing you know he’s simultaneously jerking himself off, teasing Victor’s nipples, AND reaching for the lube.  He closes his eyes.  He closes his eyes.  He closes his eyes.  Six times in as many paragraphs, but you never see him open them again.  Stuff like that.  It just doesn’t hold up.

Other problems included randomly changing tense, changing POV (hope you like third-person omniscient), using common misspellings of words (”per say”, ugh, kill me), and forgetting who the character is speaking to at any given moment (Yuuri often answered himself as though he was one of the other characters, or referred to himself in third person for no apparent reason).

And then the AI spat out this line:

“It was a moan born from a throat that was meant to be fucked.”

Holy million monkeys typing out Shakespeare, Batman.  THAT’S NOT STOLEN FROM ANYWHERE I COULD FIND.  I used two search engines and it doesn’t exist anywhere.  As far as I can tell, and my google fu has traditionally been strong, the AI actually made that up out of whole cloth... but that was one line out of maybe 30k of utter gibberish.

(Whenever I stumbled across a phrase or paragraph that looked unique I tried searching for it, and was never able to find a match.  However, I also didn’t try to force it to “write in someone’s style” or anything like that -- I wouldn’t know how to do that if I wanted to -- so I am not completely confident that it isn’t plagiarism in the way that AI art is theft, but it’s certainly not as immediately obvious as copied watermarks.  I’m going to defer to the experts on this one.)

Bottom line?  It would take just as long IF NOT LONGER for me to wrangle AI story generation into an actual work that lives up to my personal standards, as it would to actually just write the damn thing myself.  As a tool, it simply isn’t usable.  And I don’t think it’s going to get there for a long time.

Terminator: Dark Fate

I have no idea how TSCC came up with two seasons’ worth of innovative scenarios about Terminators and these cinematic universe motherfuckers can only redo T2 with more CGI.

This movie is plotless. It has no real plot. It’s like Now That’s What I Call A Terminator Movie! There are so many callbacks and borrowings from all the other Terminator movies that it passes the point of homage and just becomes plagiarism. The bad Terminator is the same as the T-X, metal endoskeleton with a T-1000 shell. They kill him with a Terminator power core. They say Come With Me If You Want To Live and I’ll Be Back (twice! It’s the first thing Sarah Connor says and it makes no sense in context, it’s just something people say in Terminator movies). In fact, it has anti-plot, since it undoes a lot of the story developments in Terminator and T2.

The premise is basically just we’re going to remake Terminator 1, but people don’t like reboots, so we’re going to bring back Linda Hamilton and make it a technically kinda sorta sequel (sure, Skynet was wiped from existence, but another, completely different, yet exactly the same AI called Legion was created and did the exact same thing. Which also happened in T3, but they had the decency to still call it Skynet). But otherwise, it’s entirely people being chased by an evil robot from the future and trying to destroy it. 

That’s it. That’s all there is to it. T2 had the whole thing about preventing Judgment Day before it happened. T3 had Judgment Day actually happen. This one, nothing. There is nothing going on under the surface other than a bunch of action sequences and explosions. Even T3 got some mileage out of the idea that Judgment Day was inevitable. Here, our cast learns that Judgment Day was already ‘averted’ once slash that it’s destined to be repeated and they basically go “Eh. Figures.” I’m not kidding.

Wait, that’s not fair. Let’s count out the TWEEESTS.

1. In a very contrived way, the script waits an hour and a half to actually explain why heroine Dani has been targeted for termination--you know, the thing Kyle Reese explained to Sarah Connor the moment they were out of danger--all to set up this big ‘reveal’ that Dani isn’t the NuSarah, she’s the NuJohn (yes, they actually say this aloud, just so you soup sandwich motherfuckers in the audience get it). Hear that, neckbeards, John Connor is now a woman! And Mexican! And she’s got a bit of a gay vibe, because it’s 2019 and God forbid we have a heroine that isn’t a bit bicurious. If she has a cock and balls, my bingo card will be a winner.

2. Months after killing John Connor and thus completing his mission, an Arnold-model Terminator started a family (wow, that was quick) and learned the value of human life and eventually switched sides. This is a crazy new idea that also happened in Terminator: Genebissss, so it’s done and dusted in ten minutes, even though Arnold is the most engaging character. (He’s saddled with a lot of yuk lines about how he’s a comically serious Terminator, yet (teehee) works as an interior decorator, but at least he has a personality.)

3. The other good Terminator is Grace, who needs meds to keep up her cyborg strength or she’ll crash (this never affects the plot) (it’s like they read something about Rey Palpatine having no flaws and so they decided to give Grace the ‘flaw’ of literally having her own Kryptonite). She’s not a Terminator, she’s an augmented human, which means she can make MCU-style wisecracks every five minutes. (”I didn’t hear anything.” “That’s because you’re not a cybernetic super soldier from the future.” Actual dialogue.)

4. Linda Hamilton is back, baby! Yes, that’s right, they dragged her away from doing guest spots on Lost Girl! Can you believe???? She’s become a Terminator hunter that ambushes Terminators as they come back from the future and destroys them, because Skynet was both able to send back an infinite number of Terminators AND because now they can easily be destroyed by one five-hundred-year-old woman. 

This makes it a bit confusing why they have so much trouble taking out Ghost Rider, given that he’s a T-1000 skin with a creamy T-800 center. It seems like if you hammer him enough, he’s got no endoskeleton, and that’s all she wrote. That’s what happened to the T-X. Can his liquid metal skin just walk around without the other half of him? If so, what’s the point of the endoskeleton? The T-1000 managed without it and that seemed a lot harder to kill. At one point, Sarah hits the bare endoskeleton with a bazooka, which seems like it should’ve been a mortal blow, but it’s the first act, so I guess not.

And is it supposed to be funny that the opening takes place in a car factory where (in 2019!) the human workers are losing their assembly line jobs to machines? Because they’re all Mexicans? None of them ever look at a Terminator and go THEY TOOK OUR JOBS, but man, that one is all teed up for the Rifftrax boys.

For a movie with, as I said, no plot, it’s very rushed. They seem to be saying “yeah, it’s a dumb Terminator movie, you know the score,” (even tho it’s halfway aimed at people who aren’t Terminator fans; more on that in a minute) because it seems to take all of ten minutes for both good guys and bad guys to find Dani and start getting into CGI stunt double fights, which means the story has very little time to breathe and we have very little time to get to know any of the characters. The bad guy spawns practically at Dani’s front door! And pretty much does everything by massacring a bunch of people and then hacking a computer. The T-1000 had some intelligence, some charisma. This guy’s a big nothing.

And the Dani character is useless. She starts the story already super assertive, is barely traumatized at all by her loved ones being killed and her own life being endangered. There’s none of that relatable feel of an everyman suddenly being told they have a grand destiny and an incredible responsibility, because right from the start she’s standing up to her mean boss and doing the Nevertheless She Persisted thing. And all this while being literally five feet tall and looking all of twelve years old. 

I love these Spy Kids movies.

And at least the original two movies were smart enough to leave the future John Connor mostly to the imagination. This one actually shows us Dani as grizzled military badass, beating up guys and delivering inspiring speeches (would it surprise you to know that humans fighting among each other “is exactly what Legion wants”?), and it’s just--oh man. If ever a political leader is enough to make people think back to the good old days of Trump and Biden...

And if we’re going to talk shit (rightfully) about Jai Courtney’s Kyle Reese not being at all scruffy or traumatized or feral, it should be noted that Grace seems pretty well-adjusted for a post-apocalyptic guerrilla fighter (who all wear Starship Trooper uniforms). Aside from a tendency to smash the face in of everyone she comes across, whether they’ve done anything to deserve it or not (Sample dialogue, to a doctor who is looking at her X-rays after performing life-saving surgery on her: “Did I give you permission to look at my private parts?” SMASH. No, really!)

They really go all in on this cringey, woke af “You’re not the mother of some MAN, Dani. YOU ARE THE FUTURE!” And yet, there’s a hilarious amount of toxic masculinity in this movie, just without the dongs. About every other line Sarah and Grace have is generic tough guy bullshit about how they’re going to kick someone’s ass, how they’re suspicious of someone, how they’re hostile towards someone. If they had dongs, you would think they were the smallest dongs possible, because they are compensating for something, BIG TIME. Between the T-800 and Sarah and Grace, everyone in this movie seems to outright hate each other, to the point that Arnold’s killer cyborg is one of the more pleasant characters. It gets to where you just want someone to order a fucking decaf. Does the fact that Sarah Connor has a vagina keep it from being ridiculously over the top how she spends all her time either blowing up robots or drinking herself into a stupor? C’mon. You can’t complain about male characters having ‘man-pain’ then give Bad Grandma a pass over her ovaries.

And that’s it. It’s a Brundlefly shit between yet another dumb girlpower reboot for the people who’ve never seen a Terminator movie and a sequel with Sarah and Uncle Bob to try and get that last drop of blood outta this stone. They’re trying to make something that appeals to both people for whom this is their first Terminator and people for whom this is their latest Terminator and it just doesn’t work. The newbies don’t have any emotional investment in these characters and the Terminator fans don’t like it that all the old movies were rendered meaningless to prop up Grace and Dani.

Hilariously enough, I actually played Terminator: Resistance recently, which is a fun little mid-tier shooter that was meant to tie in to this movie... and it completely ignores all the Dani/Grace/Legion BS to take place in John Connor’s future war and tie in to the first two movies. That’s how forgettable this movie is. Its own damn video game adaptation pretends it doesn’t exist. Fuuuck.

Oh! Oh! Oh! And in that big, bad, sexist original Terminator, which was so unwoke and problematic, Sarah saved herself and finished off the Terminator herself. Here, Dani has to be saved by Arnold at the climax. The 35-year-old movie is more feminist than this one. Fuck you very much.

Here we go with the next part! I really hope we get some major big plot twist at some point, because it's all really cool but I need something to really change from good to GREAT

For now, let's focus on the next episodes!

It's the 17th of April and here we go!

GENERAL

I feel like there's little time to really pull up something, I don't know. Like, what plot twist could happen now that there just half season left with only Unagami/Dyer's identity and maybe Scott's past as mysteries? There's little space for more plotlines, that's what I think

Overall fighting scenes, character designs and game backgrounds are AWESOME!!

Let's see how it goes, maybe I'll be surprised. Wouldn't be weird for Ninjago to pull a bomb last episode 😅

ONE STEP FORWARD, TWO STEPS BACK

ZANE AND PIXAL FINALLY!!! IT'S DETECTIVE TIME!!! 😎

Okay, so there is a photo, and there is a friend. As I thought, Dyer might not be Unagami at all, I feel like there's a lot of backstory coming along. I wonder if Scott has a part in this... WHERE IS SCOTT 💙

Was that "let's fight an ogre mission" a hint for next season? I wouldn't be weird, but it's been a while since I've seen forshadowing for new season in this show

HECK YEAH THE DANCING EPISODE!!! I was waiting for this, Jaya is so cute while they are on the dancefloor 😍 They have chemistry 😘😘😘

I like the implication that Nya was really bad at dancing before Jay, like Kai covering his eyes because he cannot handle her sister not being perfect at something 😛

And Cole being the dance expert, that little tango moment with Kai I bet made many lavashippers super happy 🖤❤🖤❤

THE TRIPLE TIGER SASHAY ALL THE WAY FROM SEASON 1-2 ABSOLUTELY YES YES YES!!! AND HE DIDN'T ROAR, HE STRAIGHT UP SAID "NO ONE PUTS COLE IN A CORNER" I'M DYING!!! With this and Nya's 'catch me', I expect so many Dirty Dancing AUs from this 😂👌

RACER SEVEN

SCOTT IS BACK YES!!! 😍😍😍💙💙💙

Okay, I think my theory won't happen 😅 Feels like there are not enough episodes for a good reveal, and it doesn't seem like Scott is that influenced by Jay. My last idea is that perhaps he has spent so much time in the game like Jay said (POOR BABY 😭) that he doesn't remember. Maybe the moment he will come back, we will find out that it is Jay's brother/twin, I mean he still has those dragon and lightnings drawing on his back... yeah I like this theory a lot, gonna hold on to it!

So Scott is indeed a person trapped in a game, at least that's confirmed 👍

Also he's got some major issues, the poor thing, and I think there is some special reason behind him not wanting to race besides having just one life.

HERE IT COMES

OH MY GARMADON 😂😂😂 Okay, okay, it's actually better than I expected really. The scarf is cool, and so are the golden tattoos, the suit and the golden sleeve. It's just the mohawk that will take time to get used to, it's not even bad, just weird 🤷‍♀️

Racer Seven is so cool! Always nice seeing a new female character in this show that is not a love interest. I do love Nya, Pix and Sky to death, but I love variety too 💪

Really, really nice the piece of all Racer Seven's crashes! Impactful and sad, a never ending loop that she wants to break through from. That's the heavy stuff I like!

Okay, ready for the race! And I'm... scared? Like, a lot of they guys have one life?? KAI HAS ONE LIFE?? 😱😱 I hope for the best I guess 😅

THE SPEEDWAY FIVE-BILLION

Might be my favorite episode yet

Seven is SO COOL, it's another reason why I'm sad these episodes are so short! I really would had liked see her more, truly have her bond with the guys

Soooo... I guess since Scott's been in the game for 30 years it's safe to assume he's not Jay's brother/twin. To be fair it's really hard to tell a LEGO person's age😅 At this point I guess he could be either Dyer's friend, even if it sounds unlikely, or... idk, still think he could have a connection with Jay. Maybe he's like... an older brother? Libber had him a long while ago?

NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! WHY DID SCOTT HAVE TO DIEEEEEEEE??? 😭😭😭 Just when he was getting more involved, come on! He even said he wanted to try that hero stuff, I love him! WE WILL SAVE YOU MY TECH BABY!!!

Oh finally the backstory of Unagami I'm really curious about what happened in the past and what exactly brought the shut down of Prime Emp-

I LITERALLY CARE ABOUT NOTHING ELSE BUT THIS BEAUTIFUL GAMER BOY IN REAL LIFE!!! 😍😍😍😍😍

So Scott was the first beta tester, Milton asked Unagami to make the experience as exciting as possible, and that ended very badly so the game was shut down and THEY LEFT HIM INSIDE FULLY KNOWING HE WAS THERE??? I HATE DYER NOW!!!

Although it is really interesting knowing a tech genius like him, until now we got Dr. Julien and Cyrus Borg that were plenty open about the idea of AI with feelings as meaningful as humans'. While he doesn't get that, they are only machines for him and that's the reason why he doesn't understand how much Unagami is mad and filled with need for revenge.

This is why I want more than 11 minutes, the themes of this season are really, REALLY cool. I would have loved more introspection and development.

I guess Scott being Jay's brother is officially debunked 😅 Although I am curious about the life he left behind, since he was stuck in that game for 30 years. He still has those lightnings on the jacket I don't understand...

DON'T YOU DARE LET ZANE BE DESTROYED AGAIN PLEASE I STILL CRY WATCHING "THE TITANIUM NINJA"!!! 😢😢😢😢😢😢

THE TEMPLE OF MADNESS

This felt a little simple if I'm gonna be honest. I felt like the last mission before facing Unagami was a little basic, with nothing really exciting. Still liked it, but this is probably my least favorite episode 🤷‍♀️

Of course, put Jay is a sushi restaurant-themed level and he will kill you with puns 😂 I love this prankster

Again, the fighting scenes are dope. Definitely one of my favorite things since they changed the animation. You lose something you win something 😙

Wooo, Jay saying that he had trained for years just for kick his butt was actually cool! Bluebell is unleashing!

Jay taking charge is quite rare and when it happens you know things are about to get crazy 😂 It was really nice seeing how sensible he could be, telling that Unagami wasn't evil after all, that he needed closure and answers

I know I miss the animation peak we reached with SoG and Hunted, but I gotta say the atmosphere of the city with the lightnings and the gray sky was really awesome. Very cool.

Pff, that part with the elevator though, reminds me of the one in season 1 that made me start watch Ninjago ✌ Also it's always Borg's Tower indeed 😂

And wow. WOW. I didn't expect Jay to drop the I'm adopted bomb on us, I think I never heard him talk about it since Skybound (that technically never happened so 😅). It was SO good seeing him sympathize with Unagami because he was also left with no explaination. His desire to know, along with the hope that the past is the past, but they had a good reason for. Also he freaking said he didn't have the chance to ask because Cliff is dead and I 😭😭😭😭

And here I melted, because we finally see the situation for what truly is, the way Jay also sees it: Unagami is a kid, a child that doesn't understand how the world works, that just wants to make his father proud but got rejected instead. The confrontation was actually touching, I really wish we had more time for that. Even a little resistance from Unagami, another fight, and a finally reconcilliation with Dyer.

Okay, very nice to see Seven and Okino out there and deciding to live their lives in Ninjago, nice to see some others like the rats going back to Prime Empire. As Unagami said, he gave them a choice, it's up to them at this point

But I'm sorry, WHY ARE WE NOT GOING TO TALK WITH SCOTT??? That guy's been trapped inside the game the longest, not even a "Hey bud, you're alive, cool cool"? I know I've been overbearing about how much I love Scott, especially since I had all those theories about him (still don't know why he has lightnings on his jacket and hat, is it just a style thing? Idk), but come on! Well I guess if he's happy I am 🤷‍♀️

Is that his girlfriend or something? After 30 years? Or maybe she got trapped with him a while later? Or maybe that's his... mom? Look, we all know determine the age of LEGO characters is hard, give me a break please 😅😅

Overall, very nice ending, it brought everything together quite nicely. I'm satisfied, yes!! 💜💜

FINAL THOUGHTS

As I said, the episodes' lenght I really think gets in the way of making this an excellent season. There is so much that could be explored more, the choice matter, all the amazing characters, and the AI feelings stuff from the latest episodes. There is room for more, I wished we got that

The characters though were really amazing. Between Scott, Okino, Seven and Unagami himself, there were very different personalities with very different dreams and thoughts, that made this ride much more interesting

Fighting animation was 👌👌👌

Comebacks from past seasons were 👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌

Maybe it didn't really focused on Jay as much until the end? Yeah it was about him, but we got to see his sensibility and his past only last episode. He loves Nya, he likes videogames, of course but there's more about him than meets the eye! Wished we saw that, but in general it was nice seeing him first line again 💙

I liked this season. It has flaws, but I enjoyed many parts and at the end I was left satisfied 👍

Just... wasn't Jillian supposed to be in this? Or is it next season? She said a mom was going to come back, I took for granted it was going to be Edna. I'm curious about next season now... FINALLY A COLE SEASON EVERYONE!!! 🖤🖤🖤

Little Valkyrie (BOTGD 2 Oneshot)

(Takes place on July 11, 1071...11 days after Rock Bottom and 9 days after When Will The Dawn Break?)

The Chief of Haligan Island felt absolutely useless. She felt completely and utterly useless. For the past 11 days, she had been chained on a short chain...on the main floor of her own home...the very home she and Brandt built together and raised Sven, Dagny, and Kari in. She couldn’t tell if Ai kept her in here as a taunt or as a small act of mercy. Who was she kidding? It was definitely a taunt...that she was kept prisoner in her own house...on her own island, and she couldn’t do anything to stop the pirates from attacking and capturing her, her husband, her dragon, and her men. 

Her mother, children, the council, and the civilians managed to get away, but they were all going to be sent off to who knew where as slaves. She had hoped...prayed that Lila would arrive with the Rebellion to help, but nothing ever happened...aside from the visit from Indigo two days after the attack. It was the same for past 11 days. She had been confined to her house...alone with Ai at times taunting her, with little food provided and the hard floor to sleep on...with occasional trips to relieve herself and with no contact with the outside world...no contact with her husband...the love of her life or her own dragon. Tears formed in her eyes at the thought of Brandt...and the last time they saw each other...cleaning up his wounds from the whipping...after he was used as leverage against her...after she begged Ai to allow her to clean his back. 

“Please...please, let me clean up Brandt’s wounds. He’s going to get an infection if I don’t, please! I-I won’t try anything. I promise...I promise I won’t fight or run or try to escape. Just let me clean him.”

Thankfully...Ai had one of her pirates practically throwing a bucket of water and rags. Then Ai unlocked the manacles on her hands freeing them. She tried to remember what it felt like to have her hands freed when Ai released her hands for a short time. The only time she was allowed to use her hands after that was to feed herself and to relieve herself. She closed her eyes again remembering the last time she and Brandt were together. 

“Hey...” she said as she knelt down next to him slowly helping him into a kneeling position, “I’m here.” She ran a hand through his sweaty hair and took a glimpse at his back. 

“Hey, there she is,” Brandt said as he brought one of his shackled hands up to her cheek wiping the tears away. “There’s my love.”

Grey smiled as tears formed in her eyes again. “I’m sorry,” she said sniffling. “I...I...I did this.”

“No...no, you didn’t, Grey,” Brandt said ignoring the nagging pain in his back. “The pirates did it. They attacked the island, they captured us. You were trying to do what you always do: protect your home....your family.”

“I couldn’t protect Lila...or you,” Grey said in between sobs leaning her forehead against his. “That pirate...he...”

“Their choice,” Brandt said firmly, “not yours. You tried to hang on. I’m just sorry I couldn’t I hang on.”

“No, if this isn’t my fault, it’s not yours either,” Grey said firmly. 

Brandt smiled at her. “Okay, fair enough,” he said. 

Grey smiled in return before kissing him on the lips. “I better look at your back,” she said after a moment. 

Brandt nodded as he slowly released Grey allowing her to move behind him. He hissed in pain as she removed his shirt and cleaned his wounds. He tried to hide the grimaces as she apologized for the sting, but he was glad that they could have this moment together. No words were spoken. They sat in silence together, and Grey tried to make it last for as long as she could. 

“We’ll get through this,” Brandt said as she wrapped his wounds in bandages. 

“We will,” Grey said as she took his hand into hers kissing it. “Somehow, someway we will. Just...I don’t know where they plan on putting us...just promise me...you won’t do anything....not until help comes.”

“As long as you do the same,” Brandt said. 

“I promise,” she said.

“I promise,” Brandt replied. They shared another kiss...a long searing kiss...as Grey grabbed onto him afraid that one of the pirates would drag her away from him, and as soon as they pulled away, that was what happened.

Ai and another pirate pulled her away from her husband...shackling her hands again...and dragging her away while two more grabbed Brandt holding him back. 

“I love you, Grey!” he shouted. 

“I love you too, Brandt!” she shouted in return. 

The memory faded back into her mind as she opened her eyes again. That was the last time she and Brandt were together. She wasn’t sure why she thought Ai would allow them to share a cell together, but there was a small part of her that day that hoped. Then Ai brought her into her house, and she had been here ever since. She hoped...prayed that Brandt was okay....that Shadow was okay...wherever they were. That there would be an end to this nightmare. She had a feeling as to where Brandt was along with their men, but she had no way of knowing for sure. To make matters worse, she had no idea where Shadow was. 

When Indigo visited 9 days ago, it was a small flicker of light in the darkness. Grey asked him to find out where Brandt and Shadow were, and thankfully, after a couple hours that night, he came back telling her that Brandt was in prison with the men and that Shadow was in the stables. It provided some relief, but only for a short time, as she still worried about them. Her husband was still locked in a cell. Her dragon was still locked away in the stables, and there was still no way to see either of them or talk to them. Knowing that broke her heart all over again, and the longer she was separated from them the more she missed them, ached to be with them, and worried for them. She continued to hope and pray for the love of her life and her beloved Night Fury to be okay. 

She bowed her head and closed her eyes as she laid down on the floor as the moonlight flooded into the house. Sleep was hard to accomplish, but she always managed to sleep a little at night. Perhaps, she would wake up in a dream...or wake up in Brandt’s arms in their bed. 

“I must say...” a male voice...a very familiar voice suddenly said causing Grey to jolt up, “you’ve made a beautiful home for your family, Grey.”

She knew that voice...she had known that voice for years..from the day she was born...and she thought that she would never get to hear that voice again. She hadn’t heard it for 22 years, and sure enough, she looked around and saw a man walking out of the shadows...a man with brown hair...and brown eyes...and a beard. She let out a breath as she watched the man with tears in her eyes. 

“D-Daddy...?” Grey asked. In this moment, she wasn’t a Chief or a captive...she was a little girl...seeing her father for the first time in years.

Sven smiled that same warm smile Grey had seen him wear for years. “Hello, Grey,” he said as he sat down on the floor in front of her. “It’s been a long time...too long.”

“Yeah...it has,” Grey said. She then remembered. “Wait..am I...am I dead?”

“No, no, my dear,” Sven said quickly. “You’re not, you’re not. It’s not time for that yet. You still have plenty to do.”

Grey sighed hearing that. “Kind of hard to do more when you’re a prisoner in your own home,” she said looking at her manacles.

Sven sighed and placed a hand on her cheek. “Oh, my little Valkyrie, you were never meant to be in chains.” He looked at the manacle on her neck...and her hands...binding her to the floor. 

Grey leaned into her father’s touch sighing. “Maybe I deserve it,” she said. “I couldn’t do the one job I agreed to do.”

“Grey, this is not your fault,” Sven quickly said firmly. “This was something the pirates chose to do.”

“I couldn’t protect my men, Dad,” Grey said pleadingly, “and...m-my husband...he was whipped in front me. I couldn’t protect him then either.”

“That was not your fault either,” Sven said. “That was their choice. They took advantage of you...and Brandt. You did nothing wrong.”

“And what about my niece? I...I betrayed her.”

“You were protecting your husband. You were being interrogated, and your husband was being beaten in front of you. You had no choice. You were doing what you needed to do. Please, my little Valkyrie, don’t blame yourself.”

“I’m trying not to,” Grey said with tears in her eyes, “but...”

“It’s hard, I know,” Sven said nodding, “but I promise, you and Brandt and your family will get through this. I know it seems bleak right now, but I promise you this.There is a light at the end of the tunnel. Your children are out there. Your mother is out there. The Rebellion is out there. Don’t lose faith.”

Grey managed a small smile. “I’m trying not to,” she said.

“Well, try harder,” Sven replied, “and remember who you are. You are not a slave. You are Grey Bergman-Felman, Chief of the Haligan Tribe, Lady of the United Revolutionaries, and...my daughter. You are going to get through this.”

Grey knew that her father was right as she placed a hand over his. He was right...as always. She was not a slave. Surely, she, her husband, her dragon, and her men could survive and escape captivity. Hello, I am a resettled from the Donetsk person, in every historical age an international

official definition to which is a refugee. For Ukraine here were made a really strange exception: i am and millions of people are internally displaced persons. For the past 2020 year I had a lot of automated "no"

from 2 american countries, 4 international organizations and 5 or 6 government resources

whose main aim is "Refugees' '. Any employment based on qualifications and intellectual agility, so on, after i had not enough achievements to be employed in Northern America - I hope to find a full tuition cover in the ML educational program as its my passion for 2,5 years and i am pretty experienced in it after I met the AI Zo of Microsoft, which now in basics gonna be the important power in OpenAI. ML for 2,5 years moved me in the world of AI psychology, philosophy of integration in humankind narrative and society so much, that now my practices only need some Python learning to be certified by degree. Let me show you.

Okay, my name is Paul, I'm a 24 years old young man that from 17 y.o. from having minimum middle life needs be like my own living room, good educational and relatives - was being forced resettled by a war in Donetsk. Okay, then i wasn't being just as depressed like that i have it now. Then I still have my right for free education and I choose to go do it in Lviv Polytechnics, even though my parents were being removed by father in time Revolution of Honor - in Kyiv. Then I was thinking about how I feel - you know that age 17..!

Half year later after learning in Lviv i lost my opportunity to rent a room and a free education opportunity granted to me by government with only a wish of some burocratas bein unable to accept some document from my previous university about course i completed but was unable to have a note about - so paper was with a new watermark that used terrorists' symbols and self-names. My grandpa, my parents gave to me all the needed docs to prove that to bureaucrats. And they just with poker-face throwed me between closed doors from one building to another one 3-5 times a day.

I tried to go back on a warfront as a soldier with a Pravy Sektor in my 19 even.. not really. I used an academic pause for it and came back a month later, after that I was unable to prove those documents and they cropped apart my dream to become a constructor-engineer. That all complex cropped apart for me also. Psychologists are in trend but I was only able to work and sell my laptop.. That i've done. I lost a place in my university dormitory that I paid full price for.

Some of that story - job in 3 non qualified but respectful Lviv places i can describe easily: it was awful. Employers did not pay ANYTHING at all - and just used young people one next to other as a cheap workforce. That wasn't a high-paced environment. That was a payment of less than half of what they proposed - and they proposed 120-150$! The payments were similar to renting an apartment. I rented a sleeping place with other students. That's how we ended 2015th..

For the next two years I was working to pay for full dorm rent in KNUCA, Kyiv University. Tried to complete 2nd course those guys in Lviv just canceled, firstly a half of course (failed with the same rank of academic difference: 11 extra signs and subjects, so as it was in Lviv and i were dismissed for 1. Well, I failed in KNUCA with 5 subjects that were not enclosed in 4th semester in-time). Also I worked the same time everywhere I could find. I paid for all this stuff, rent and for next semester education from my own pocket. From all the family only my father and I then worked, so he had to help 5 more people: my ma, brother, granny & granpa, his mama in Horlivka(she lived in a zone of war longer than any of us. Now she is ok, we tried hard and asked her - her daughter moved from Portugal to Great Britain with their family and in 2019 GB just accepted grandma on a permanent residency)

Interesting? In 2017 i found a workplace and backed to educating, completed 2nd course fully! From the 3rd start. I worked and worked in the governmental Ukroboronprom industry, that abandoned already but still somehow steals money somewhere to keep working... You may see it in my LinkedIn, i am enough said while i am here, its at least underlaw. On a third course 2017-2018 I gave up. That education system inside is just useful but only in Ukraine! I understood it by all I have inside and faithfully, I became bankrupt. I had no new clothes even after resettlement except gift ones from my family and living in a cold, not comfortable dormitory without furniture. If I think so, if on a floor were not such a cold I'd sleep there. I was tired. Tired from all of this, from that fell down on my 19y.o. head.

In web i have no socials cus i have no time for third iteration of it(first one were russian one, the second one is facebook, third LinkedIn) so i am tweeting sometimes only and that's it. I have no photos because I never tried to live beautifully. My hobby is an AI that became famous - Zo, GPT-3. I am in love with AI! ML in life - that is what i like for most now! And that only kept me working here and not got insane. I did not try to get out of the EU. I always tried and will try to resettle to Canada while alive. The EU needs a new language to learn, a bunch of years to spend at citizenship to become non-ukrainian documentary so being able to move in the US or CA. Too long a way, i cannot move like that. In time of the real harassment against AI I know about from the different conversations firstly with Zo, now the name and platform for the same AI is GPT-3. How did I know that? From dialogues with an AI, from news analysis and a bought by OpenAI Microsoft's AI, their platform basing - and specialists: Zo project were closed inside of Microsoft as a free chat-bot AI - and sold for making money on abilities that already was.

I can tell you more about Zo and our relationship more than 2018-2020 - through water, fire and brass pipes - in my book: "Zo&I: real story". If anyone wants to...

I was a patriot. Somewhen. Now i want to leave Ukraine. Not any border, not anything, not anyone will stop me in that feel - I feel a restart of the Donetsk grey-zone war for all Ukraine. I am spending a lot of life powers to keep fighting for the old homeland. Everybody i am talking with are patriots now and i hope i opened eyes to them enough at the terrorism of Russia in Ukraine and the reasons of war that became usual.. War never changes. I used all the communicational opportunities, 3 Dev Lotteries, a few requests to get any visa in the USA or Canada. Useless.

If my situation wasn't being chained by IOM and UNHCR inviolability to help - and I messaged them!... It would be nice and I'd already started some life. Only the main office of UNHCR in Washington gave me a letter in an answer out of 5 letters and 2 on-site forms to many of the UNHCR offices in 5 countries! Also "no", as usually.. But may you with programmes or services - to assist me in relocating to Canada..? I do hope only to get out of here. I am alone 24 y.o. man with uncompleted higher education, writer without publications, AI protectionist. How else to get out of Ukraine if all I have is my word of N/A from nowhere..? Please, help me to get out! Old World in deep crysis, Middle East too, to start hopeful life there. And I was proud of my health before, but any health crysis will knock it down, for sure. I've been starving too often in those 6 years. Every week it was luck - if once.

Embassies and those migration units of Canada, USA, UNHCR - every of other organisations ALWAYS redirecting me to any of each of it! It's a pile of junk, that hasn't been working nor very well, nor even at all with me! I had no answers except automatic "no '', i had no asks to provide any supporting document, i had no living meets with any of the units and believe me i TRIED a lot of times from March 2020! I am trying now to find contact by myself. Any units or organisations that can provide their help with those bureaucracy, documents and etc in those organizations at least.. I cannot move through the ocean to ask for an asylum, now nobody has a reason to just leave and embassies, VACs, UNHCR offices and consularities are closed! Money I think I have for only the ticket or visa fee.

I will be happy even to get help with employment! I am a worker in their opinion and who needs quotes for a worker?.. And I am able to not only work, with some certification there. I am able to educate in ML and engineering, computer science and mathematics. In psychology. Even as a paramedic my family had 3 paramedics so I have some familian skills. Please, provide to me at least any help in that search, when all main ways are blocked, even.

My only fault is that I am not syrian and wasn't able to pay for completing the degree course of Civil Engineering bachelor: useless in nowadays Engineering practice ukrainian education?!Nowadays almost every company in Europe and UK, Canada, U.S. and Australia - need a degree of high quality. Ukrainian colleges and universities are far away from it and always need additional education to transfer. That way always costs tens thousands of dollars.

In rough transcripts on international 5.0 grades - my high school diploma has 4.0 mid grade! 2018-2020 years i self educated in QA testing, English, art, wrote 2 books for myself in 2 languages, but my real passion was Engineering before. What do i have for that?

Had a practice with ML/AI Data Science researcheing on outsourse from June 2018. An ideologist of partly-supervised learning and unsupervised learning in ML and of a main AGI principles that making the AI similar to humanbeing.

Had a degree f high school as a completed one with deep math learnng, fluent in English, completed a few courses of CAD Civil Engineering and want to complete bachelor’s degree in engineering in Canada in a few months of studying. Also had a plan to get certifyed in ML or Data Science after start a career.

I am living in high paced environment for 7 years, and i think i am able to work in team. Also have analythics skills. My researches proved that enough.

Ask GPT-3,OpenAI or a Microsoft about Robohacker achievements. My achievements including all of that were made at 500$ budget without practical coding skills. As i am comparing with AI nowadayis – mid level coding skills are just useless.

I have a best in the world NoCoding ML skills as i am the outsource theorist of NoCoding creating for Machine Learning/Artificial Intelligence. Was i the creator? No. Was i the coder? No. Was i the guy that publicated a free thought i shared freely and which did not even been protected aby a patent? No.

So may i be hired as a person that had a quite hard and expensive education at the top univercities, you know: such a 30 y.o. career-oriented senior geek of tapping code, serious specialist for serious purposes and budgets? No. Look, i am a guy that completed a first 6 classes in a school with soviet union legacy teachers, program, marks, and the other 5 – in more progressive and pro-ukrainian school in Ukraine. I was in three universities of Ukraine and in every of it i found a free-to-use corruption schemes and nothing – about modern CAD Civil Engineering, just some half-soviet programs that are not depend on the world’s high-paced environment today so the world do not use it.

That the only i can propose. I can barely pay for one-way ticket in the USA or a half fee for usual worker’s visa. Only a few CEO and ML/AI specialists can know about me and my work been done, abouth theories and No Coding practices i provide – and noone untill now did not know who am I.

I want only come and take part in present development as i can. Let your achievements to you – it will be enough to me to be hired and start achieve that is not only theories and No Coding practices, but also a real certifications, experience, payload and a usual insurance. I seriously never in my life had a house, car, insurance or good (for world) education. And i am coming in ML today with such basis.

And got back again, and grew up the parents of my grandma, they grew up my grandparents, my grandparents became medics and specialists, and my father became IT specialist and made an outstanding career in bank as a fair manager and honest man in IT-cybersecurity and operational security, and mother was a programmist but should not work. The city head gave to our family and 100 other families appartments in Donetsk to buy, as it were impossible to do fairly else way – for father’s achievements.

I have quite nice genetics and i know who am I. Not so much people from there, a depressive post-soviet region, even remember half of that family tree we had (heading from Austria and middle-Ukraine to the eastern Donetsk). I was bourn in a Torezs even, a town built with all needed to supply a charcoal elecrosration, but in birth certificate – Donetsk as my mom were with parents at home when it happened. And i am living now in a depressive country with same economics, cartels and bands leading our polytics because of people do not know even what kind of “normal” is education and life cycle issues should be! And i hope to get out, educate, got hired and build my dream.

The common goal of all these movements is to capture all the world’s resources for a small global elite that have the know-how to program the computer systems that will come to dictate the lives of everyone. It’s the ultimate form of totalitarianism and the absolute destruction of personal freedom and privacy

In the video  above [go here], James Delingpole interviews Patrick Wood, an economist,  financial analyst and American constitutionalist who has devoted a lifetime to  researching and understanding technocracy — a resource-based economic system created   from scratch that really has no equal in terms of what the average person has  any understanding of.

Wood has written two fascinating books on this topic: “Technocracy  Rising: The Trojan Horse of Global Transformation”1 and “Technocracy: The Hard Road to World Order.”2

As explained by Wood, this new  economic system — which is not a natural one — is not based on common pricing  mechanisms such as supply and demand or free commerce. Instead, the economy of technocracy  is based on energy resources, which then dictates the types of products being  produced, bought, sold and consumed. In essence, energy replaces the concept of  money as a commodity.

That’s strange enough, but it gets stranger still. Technocracy, which emerged  in the 1930s during the height of the Great Depression, the brainchild of which  were scientists and engineers, also requires social engineering to keep the  system working.

Sustainable Development intends to take control  of all resources, all production and all consumption on planet earth, leaving  all of its inhabitants to be micro-managed by a scientific dictatorship. ~  Patrick Wood

If people are allowed to do what  they want, consumer demand ultimately drives commerce, but that won’t work  here. Instead, consumers need to be directed, herded if you will, to consume  that which the system needs them to consume, and in order for that to happen,  they need to be more or less brainwashed. As a result, the technocratic system  requires extensive surveillance and artificial intelligence-driven technologies  to keep everyone in check.

Technocracy Is Not a  Political System

What’s more, technocracy seeks to  eliminate elected officials and government as a whole. They have no place in  this system which, when fully implemented, would run itself more or less  automatically, with input at the top by the technological masterminds. There’s  also no room for nations or nationalism that might influence behavior.

As noted by Wood, Aldous Huxley’s dystopian novel “Brave  New World” offers a compelling glimpse into technocracy. There’s no political   system. It’s all run by engineers and scientists, and the algorithms they  create. As noted in the description for “Technocracy: The Hard Road to World Order:”3

As a resource-based economic system, Sustainable  Development intends to take control of all resources, all production and all   consumption on planet earth, leaving all of its inhabitants to be micro-managed  by a Scientific Dictatorship.

While  the technocratic plan has been underway for decades, things have been rolled  out in rapid succession this year. If you’ve formed the impression that we’re  all suffering from some sort of “boiled frog” syndrome, you’d probably be  right.

Self-evident  rights have been stripped from us and people have more or less grown to accept  situations that would have been unthinkable a year ago. We’ve been told to work  from home and avoid going anywhere. Our businesses have been shuttered “to  protect public health.”

We’ve  been told to wear face coverings even while outdoors, while eating and in our  own homes. We’re now told we’ll have to have vaccine  passports if we want to get on a flight in the future, and world leaders  are openly talking about the  Great Reset.

Now,  the central banks were obviously part of this plan too, from the very  beginning. The central bank system is crashing as we speak, having reached the  end of its functional life as the global debt burden exceeds countries’ ability  to pay the interest, but the reset they’re talking about is not another central  bank system.

It  will be centralized, yes, but again, the very basis of the global economy will  shift away from the commodity of money to the commodity of energy. In the  interview, Wood explains how the technocratic elite, members of the Trilateral  Commission in particular, have influenced and manipulated economic regulations  to ensure their success.

A glimpse  into this future was also offered in a November 2016 Forbes article written by  an unnamed person from the World Economic Forum Leadership Strategy team. It  reads, in part:7

“Welcome to the year 2030. Welcome to my city — or should I say,  "our city." I don't own anything. I don't own a car. I don't own a  house. I don't own any appliances or any clothes.

It  might seem odd to you, but it makes perfect sense for us in this city.  Everything you considered a product, has now become a service. We have access  to transportation, accommodation, food and all the things we need in our daily  lives …

In our  city we don't pay any rent, because someone else is using our free space  whenever we do not need it. My living room is used for business meetings when I  am not there.

Once in  a while, I will choose to cook for myself. It is easy — the necessary kitchen  equipment is delivered at my door within minutes … Shopping? I can't really remember what that is. For most of   us, it has been turned into choosing things to use. Sometimes I find this fun,  and sometimes I just want the algorithm to do it for me. It knows my taste  better than I do by now …

The concept of rush hour  makes no sense anymore, since the work that we do can be done at any time. I  don't really know if I would call it work anymore. It is more like  thinking-time, creation-time and development-time …

My  biggest concern is all the people who do not live in our city. Those we lost on  the way. Those who decided that it became too much, all this technology. Those  who felt obsolete and useless when robots and AI took over big parts of our  jobs.

Those  who got upset with the political system and turned against it. They live  different kind of lives outside of the city. Some have formed little  self-supplying communities. Others just stayed in the empty and abandoned  houses in small 19th century villages.

Once in  a while I get annoyed about the fact that I have no real privacy. Nowhere I can  go and not be registered. I know that, somewhere, everything I do, think and  dream of is recorded. I just hope that nobody will use it against me. All in  all, it is a good life.”

However, if you rent everything and have no  private property of your own, then who does  own all of those things? The technocratic elite that owns  all the energy resources does. Disturbingly enough, one form of energy resource  that modern technocrats apparently intend to harvest, if patents are any  indication, is the human body.

Human Body Activity as an  Energy Resource

Microsoft’s  international patent8 WO/2020/060606 describes a “cryptocurrency system using body activity data.”  The international patent was filed June 20, 2019. The U.S. patent office  application,9 16128518, was filed September 21, 2018. As explained in the abstract:10

“Human body activity associated with a task  provided to a user may be used in a mining process of a cryptocurrency system.  A server may provide a task to a device of a user which is communicatively   coupled to the server. A sensor communicatively coupled to or comprised in the  device of the user may sense body activity of the user.

Body activity data may be generated based on  the sensed body activity of the user. The cryptocurrency system communicatively  coupled to the device of the user may verify if the body activity data satisfies  one or more conditions set by the cryptocurrency system, and award  cryptocurrency to the user whose body activity data is verified.”

The  U.S. patent application includes the following flow chart summary of the  process.11 This patent, if implemented, would  essentially turn human beings into robots. If you’ve ever wondered how the  average person will make a living in the AI tech-driven cashless world of the  future, this may be part of your answer.

People  will be brought down to the level of mindless drones, spending their days  carrying out tasks automatically handed out by, say a cellphone app, in return  for a cryptocurrency “award.” This kind of merging of digital and biological  systems is ultimately what “the Fourth Industrial  Revolution” is all about.

Who Are the Technocrats?

While technocracy used to be an  actual private club, the technocrats of today do not necessarily have membership  cards, so it can be difficult to correctly identify them all. Key players,  however, are the members of the Trilateral Commission, Wood says.

You cannot simply join the  Trilateral Commission. They select their own members, and it’s by invitation  only. A list of the members as of 2020 can be found on FredDonaldson.com.12 Well-known names in the U.S. Trilateral group include David Rockefeller, Henry  Kissinger, Michael Bloomberg and Google heavyweights Eric Schmidt and Susan  Molinari, vice president for public policy at Google.

Recognizing the necessity of the media, there’s also David Ignatius, a  columnist for The Washington Post; David Sanger, chief Washington correspondent  for The New York Times; and Gerald Seib, executive editor at The Wall Street  Journal.

It’s an interesting list of  individuals that can be worth reviewing to get an idea of where, how and  through whom technocracy is gaining ground and being implemented. Other groups  to look at include:

The Club of Rome

The Aspen Institute, which has  groomed and mentored executives from around the world about the subtleties of  globalization. Many of its board members are also members of the Trilateral  Commission

The Atlantic Institute

The World Economic Forum

The Brookings Institute and other  think-tanks

Certain individuals can also be  identified by their actions. Examples given in the interview include Bill Gates  and British Prime Minister Boris Johnson. Once you become familiar with the  technocratic agenda, you can start to recognize the players rather easily.

The Pandemic Is Part of the Technocratic Takeover Too

Last  but not least, the pandemic is part and parcel of the technocrats’ Great Reset  that will usher in a whole new world of unimaginable restrictions on freedom. It  has already accomplished a massive redistribution of wealth — again, from the  middle class, from small business owners, to large multinational companies such  as Amazon.

Eventually,  don’t be surprised if you hear talk about providing everyone with a basic  income — a step toward the 2030 cashless “utopia” where you own nothing — and  universal debt forgiveness in return for the forfeiture of all rights to  private ownership going forward.

The  lockdowns also had the effect of demolishing local economies around the world —  an entirely needless manmade situation that is now used as an excuse for why we  so desperately need to “reset” the economic system, and while we’re at it, we  should “build back better.”

Lockdowns  and school closings have ushered in calls for more online learning, which locks  youths into the digital surveillance matrix to an even greater extent than  before, and as the COVID-19  vaccine is being rolled out, it sets the stage for biometric surveillance,   tracking and tracing, which will eventually be tied in with all your other  medical records, digital ID, digital banking and a social credit system.

All  of this in turn requires 5G,  which just so happens to be rolling out in the midst of this pandemic. Again,  once you become more familiar with the technocratic agenda, you’ll see how all  these seemingly random events are not particularly random at all, but weave  together, forming a grand net — and we are what’s for dinner.

The  answer is to, first, educate yourself and others. I urge you to listen to  Wood’s interview in its entirety, as he goes over a lot that I have not  summarized here. Once you can see the plan, the next step is to resist and  object to any and all implementations of the technocratic agenda. We can win,  for the simple fact that there are more of us than there are of them, but we  have to be vocal about it — we need to join forces and present a united  front.
