Using AI to start a musical composition or to find inspiration or ideas to build out a track in Amped Studio is now a reality. Let´s look at how to launch this revolutionary new way to learn and make music.

To open the AI music generator, click on the green AI icon on the far-right side access panel of the Studio. Let´s look at:

The AI Track Builder- Song Generator has Genre (musical style), a BPM Tempo slider for song speed and Length slider for the song´s length in seconds. Currently, the genres are modern music styles. After completing search hit Generate.

The AI will start generating to create a unique arranged project file of audio stems.

Then the project file will load and like magic your requested project will open.

The tracks are automatically named.

The you can use some of the tools in Amped Studio to customize your track:

When I saw this event I was literally so hyped dude I ALSO REALLY WANTED TO USE THIS AWESOME ART CREDS ON THE BOT >///<

Almost all of my bots are music inspired and I usually list the music in the bot desc and everything.

Now initially the event rules said only ONE (1) submission PER CREATOR so I figured I'd use my slot wisely for a Character and series that's very music heavy and that I like writing for. Hence Dante!

BUT new rules have been updated so you can submit MULTIPLE MUSIC MANIA CHARACTERS! So of course I had to make more

I was kinda delirious tho hehe and had trouble getting enbed links because I only have a 5 year old android phone at my disposal (you can imagine the pain I've gone through to make my profile look like that) T.T

I also initially wanted to use a gift of Dante doing the hakari dance but it wouldn't load sadly

The vibe I was going for was supernatural celeb like the DMC anime episode Rock Queen

But I wanted it more open ended so you could decide whether you wanted to make a deal with a demon or just be a demon.

I feel like my writing fell kinda flat but the idea is fun and I'm always mostly privatized on making the actual bot not writing.

My mid writing is just an opener to other peoples cool ass stories :3

OC - Musician Zombie Slayer

When I was maybe 13 or 14, I had a dream where the Zombie Apocalypse was upon us and (among other ways) you could kill them by playing classical music. It was something about the complexity of the music that was too much for Zombies - they would just explode or pass out DEAD.

Process/results:

I was going through different styles while generating this prompt just to see what kinds of results I could get. The second image had a Gravity Falls prompt with the style. Most images didn't make the cut purely for the violin and the bow being horribly inaccurate. Either the bow would be split in half and continue somewhere else in the image detached or the violin would be positioned where the head of the person should start and thus everything was misaligned. AI is trying, but barely any photos made the cut. I generated so many prompts and so few were worth saving, obviously.

I wanted to see how far AI song generation had come. I had no idea. I had it write punk rock songs about my blog, then heavy metal songs about feeding a kitten. We did some art, too. I'd really like some comments on this one.

this is just my opinion but i think any good media needs obsession behind it. it needs passion, the kind of passion that's no longer "gentle scented candle" and is now "oh shit the house caught on fire". it needs a creator that's biting the floorboards and gnawing the story off their skin. creators are supposed to be wild animals. they are supposed to want to tell a story with the ferocity of eating a good stone fruit while standing over the sink. the same protective, strange instinct as being 7 and making mud potions in pink teacups: you gotta get weird with it.

good media needs unhinged, googling-at-midnight kind of energy. it needs "what kind of seams are invented on this planet" energy and "im just gonna trust the audience to roll with me about this" energy. it needs one person (at least) screaming into the void with so much drive and energy that it forces the story to be real.

sometimes people are baffled when fanfic has some stunning jaw-dropping tattoo-it-on-you lines. and i'm like - well, i don't go here, but that makes sense to me. of fucking course people who have this amount of passion are going to create something good. they moved from a place of genuine love and enjoyment.

so yeah, duh! saturday cartoons have banger lines. random street art is sometimes the most precious heart-wrenching shit you've ever seen. someone singing on tiktok ends up creating your next favorite song. youtubers are giving us 5 hours of carefully researched content. all of this is the impossible equation to latestage capitalism. like, you can't force something to be good. AI cannot make it good. no amount of focus-group testing or market research. what makes a story worth listening to is that someone cares so much about telling it - through dance, art, music, whatever it takes - that they are just a little unhinged about it.

one time my friend told me he stayed up all night researching how many ways there are to peel an orange. he wrote me a poem that made me cry on public transportation. the love came through it like pith, you know? the words all came apart in my hands. it tasted like breakfast.
