Danny is a new technician at a rebuilt star labs. He didn't want to at first because Danny thought it would cut into his undead superhero/prince duties. Eventually though Clockwork (bullied) encouraged him and as it turns out, the lab is pretty lax about sudden "trouble at home". Plus, Danny can help set things back together when one of the Flashes messes up the timeline AGAIN.

(Flashpoint is what allowed Dan to come back as quickly as he did in the first place.)

The flash family, for lack of a better description, are straining. They're all putting up painted smiles that Danny knows aren't happening with his coworkers. Danny wants to be friendly with them but they're keeping him at a constant arms length away.

Barry, wally, Bart, and the rest of the flash family are freaking OUT. Why wouldn't they, their new technician caused the apocalypse. Granted they only know this because of an old speed scout from Bart. But it didn't have the time to tell them anymore than the name and some powers of one Dan phantom before fading. The timeline line the one man disaster's from doesn't exist anymore so they can't even check what happened or why the Dan destroyed everything. They can't even get rid of him because what if that sets off the guy!

A fight between Danny and Skulker within the ghost zone carried them to a section that Danny wasn't familiar with. It was near a floating island that was overgrown much like Skulker's that the two of them suddenly got ambushed by a third party.

The new ghost seemed more interested in fighting Skulker than Danny, and he didn't hesitate at all to pull out a green glowing serated knife and a matching gun. Their snarling and growling was like nothing Danny had heard before and the insults were also a lot more vicious than what Danny ever heard from Skulker.

It was clear to Danny that these two hated each other.

"Whatever!" Skulker twists mid aerial dodge into Danny's direction, "This isn't over whelp, I'll have your pelt next time!" Skulker shouts before promptly flying off.

The new ghost then approaches Danny, all the while sneering at Skulker's retreating form. Talking with the new guy is... uncomfortable, Danny has to carefully navigate the conversation because it seems like the slightest thing sets him off, aka the guy's masked eyes start glowing brighter and get this smokey effect, and the belt of bullet shells he's wearing over his shoulder catches fire.

But Danny learns that the ghost goes by Ravager and that he's the son of the greatest mercenary there is, was, will be (according to him of course).

Danny also learns that Ravager finds his close combat skills to be atrocious and offensive to look at, "your hand to hand is shit. No wonder you're dead," and the next thing he knows he gets dragged towards the floating chunk of land for an impromptu cqc lesson.

Ravager shows him various fighting skills at a cleared stretch of land nearby a half demolished building that looks like it might have been a T shaped tower at one point.

In fact the whole island has the look of a post apocalyptic city, overgrown ruins of buildings everywhere.

When Danny asks, Ravager tells him it suits him just fine like this and with a name like his Danny is inclined to believe him.

Ravager is disappointed that Danny is a hero and some parts of his personality remind him of his younger brother who he rather not think about at all, other parts of Danny remind him of Robin, who he really doesn't want to think about at all.

In the end though, curiosity gets the better of him and he asks Danny if he can take a look around, see if he can find a guy named Deathstroke (very reassuring name) and report back what he's doing nowadays.

Ravager is not happy with what Danny finds out for him.

"So there was this girl and she apparently also goes by Ravager so to be honest, I'm a little confused now"

"He Fucking replaced me!!?!" flames burst out around Ravager as he shoults.

Danny tries to placate, "... okay now, maybe it's more a passing on the torch kinda thing, keeping your memory alive or something?"

"Where is that portal you've talked about, I'm gonna fucking kill him," Yeah this guy is not listening.

"Now that seems like a rash and poorly thought out thing to do, maybe instead-"

But Ravager is done listening and instead he just yoinks Danny with him in his hunt for vengeance.

Meanwhile on the other side Rose is telling Dick and Jason about a spooky white haired meta kid that popped out of nowhere, asked her if she knew where Deathstroke is at and when she attacked him he deflected all her moves as if he'd done it a thousand times before.

Part 2

"H-hi, um—crap... I'm sorry, Mr. Wayne. Uh... It's nice to meet you. My name's Danny— wait, shit— you probably already know that."

It was an odd first impression, to say the least. The boy in front of him is an open book; quite obviously nervous and uncomfortable. Black hair with white covering nearly the bottom half that doesn't look dyed, light blue eyes, and a telltale of a wide scar right below his left eye, making the skin lighter than the rest of his otherwise tan skin.

Bruce in turn chuckles kindly at him, shaking his head. There was only him currently in Gotham; all of his kids were still dispatched elsewhere so Danny had time to adjust to the new environment. He reassures the boy that he's fine— that he'll fit right in and, in truth, he was somewhat right.

Dick, Steph, and Duke were the first ones to greet him; giving the boy quite a scare. He had met with Tim not long after, surprising the latter on brief comments about his works.

The strange things about Danny started when he met Duke. The two had started off great; they both introduced themselves kindly and shook hands. But something must've happened while they shook—because Duke's face had paled slightly as his eyes widen. Danny must've noticed; because the boy himself immediately placed a hand to cover Duke's eyes, whispering something in a rush.

“Don't— I know you can see it. Don't look at it. Don't look at me in the eyes. Don't say anything.”

He then met Jason and Damian.

Something must've snapped within the two, because the next thing anyone knew, the two had practically lunged at him.

Bruce had no time to react.

No one had time to react.

No one had time to react when a large, eldritch abomination of a knight loomed over Danny's figure, caging him within one of it's arm. A large greatsword was drawn, pointing at Jason and Damian who abruptly froze, ready to strike the moment they move even an inch.

A silence engulfed the manor as their eyes all widen in horror; the only thing audible being Danny's heart rattling within his ribcage and his heavy breathing mixed with wheezing, clear panic etched in the way his breathing didn't seem consistent.

"Do not. Touch. The child."

Jazz, seeing her missing little brother on TV with them comes to one obvious conclusion.

Another insane billionaire got ahold of her brother.

So she goes to Gotham to try and get him back, by any means necessary.

Ellie chuckled a bit. The guy was definitely fun and it was nice to see that her joke landed. For a moment, she wondered if his question was an offer, but then he followed his glance as it landed on the brunette girl. " I don't know about that. I will have to see if my boyfriend makes it here in time." She winked. "But pissing off the undead serial killer and Margaret sounds like a fun weekend. Count me in"

"if you are gonna spend the night at Camp Crystal Lake I suggest you do have sex. It's always good to subvert expectations" - Ellie

Xavier looked at her and chuckled. "Really? So we can piss off Margaret and the killers? Two for one" He glanced at Brooke... who was talking to Chet in particular. "I knew you were cool, Ellie. That's a good idea.... you gonna follow the advice too?"

Ellie kept walking deeper into the woods looking for the camp. If her dad knew what she was up to, he would be very mad at her. But Camp Redwood was a legendary haunting. Or at least that was what people said. Even more experienced hunters left the place alone. But Ellie had decided that she was old enough to give it a try.

The pictures she snapped of the place were not keepsakes. She wanted to be able to monitor possible paranormal activity. And she had sensed it, the moment she crossed the gate. The place was active. Many souls were trapped there. And something truly terrible had happened there all those years ago. Maybe something truly terrible was still happening.

She turned around surprised to hear someone talking to her. But then again, she had inherited her mother's gift. For better or worse. She saw was a brunette girl. She didn't seem hostile.

"Hi...." Ellie just mumbled, trying to remember which one of the counselors the girl could be.

another damned tourist? they’d gotten rid of most of them thirty years ago but occasionally there is a straggler that needs chasing off. like this one. and brooke knows it all falls on her to get rid of her and as quickly as possible. some of the others would be more inclined to kill the trespasser. brooke chooses not to make herself known - at least not yet - as she follows along behind the living visitor snapping pictures as they wander along the main path.

keeping an eye out for other vengeful spirits she finally reveals herself behind the human as she starts to enter one of the cabins. “you don’t want to go in there.” she walks around in front of them to intercept their entry. that was the cabin they tortured ramirez in and the other ghosts would surely get angry if someone interrupted that. probably even angry enough to kill the intruder “you really should leave. this place is filled with nothing but death.” the ghost does not want to see another living soul fall victim to redwood and it’s eternal entrapment. “let me walk you out.”
